Its Dennis and Stanley's friendiversary which means its the anniversary of when Stanley first got Dennis however when Harry and Elsie wanna join in Stanley says its for him and Dennis only for the next few days so they feel like Stanley has favoritism towards Dennis and feel left out. Dennis doesnt mind if they join but Stan insists its friendship time for them and only them which causes some conflict
Harry: Dude wake up! Stanley's gone!
Dennis: *Wakes up* Huh? What do you mean Stanley's gone?
Harry: Hes gone! I think he went missing! We gotta call the police! Quick whats the number for 911!
Elsie: Relax Harry.. Stanley just went to the store
Harry: The store?! And he didnt tell us?! Hes in trouble I know he is!
Dennis: No wonder no one woke me up.. im sure Stanley's fine Harry he just forgot to tell us he was going somewhere
Elsie: But usually he tells us if hes going somewhere and he usually brings you with him Dennis
Dennis: That is true but maybe the store didnt allow goldfish?
Elsie: Now why would they not? You dont do anything dangerous
Dennis: Im sure theres a simple explanation for why he left without notice
Stanley: *Enters room* Hi guys im back!
Harry: STANLEY *Tackles him* where have you been dude! We were worried sick!
Elsie: I wasnt.. I knew where you went
Dennis: And I just woke up-
Stanley: Im ok Harry! I just wanted to buy a surprise for Dennis!
Dennis: For me? Whats the surprise Stanley!
Stanley: This! *A bigger fish tank with lots of new accessories* happy friendiversary Dennis! I wanted to get you a bigger more comfortable home!
Dennis: Oh my- it is a lot bigger than my bowl! You sure you can carry me around in that?
Stanley: Yep! And if I cant I can always put you in my wagon!
Dennis: I must say.. this is the best gift anyone has ever given me! Thank you Stanley! And happy friendiversary to you too!
Elsie: What does friendiversary mean?
Dennis: Its a mix between friend and anniversary! Today marks the day Stanley's mom bought me from the pet store 5 years ago today!
Harry: Wow that was a long time ago..
Stanley: It was! I planned our celebration for the whole weekend! First we will go to the aquarium so we can see all your fish friends! Then we're gonna go to the park and *Lists everything they're gonna do* its gonna be the best 2 days ever!
Dennis: I can hardly wait! Its gonna be so much fun!
Harry: Oh I wanna join!
Elsie: Me too.. sounds a lot of fun!
Dennis: Of course you both can join-
Stanley: Sorry guys but this is supposed to be a celebration of me and Dennis's friendship.. I kinda want it to be just me and him
Dennis: Stanley I dont mind if they join us-
Stanley: But then it wouldnt be about JUST us! Now come on lets go to the aquarium!
Elsie: Ok.. I guess the aquarium is too wet for me anyways..
Harry: Awwww but I wanted to go..
Elsie: Maybe its just for that one place Harry! He'll invite us to the next place they go to!
Harry: If you say so..
Elsie: Dont worry they'll mention the great big book of everything in no time…
Harry: And when they do we'll be prepared to sing it and maybe hang out!
Elsie: You got it Harry! Lets just do something else while we wait

Harry: Have any 3s?
Elsie: Nope go fish!
Harry: Man im bored Elsie! We've been playing go fish for like.. ever dude!
Elsie: I am too.. normally the book would be mentioned by now..
Harry: I bet they're having a lot of fun.. doing goldfish stuff
Elsie: Just swimming around?
Harry: Yeah! They're having a lot of fun just swimming in circles! I wanna do that!
Elsie: Yeah I'll pass- but I have a feeling Stanley doesnt really love us the way he does Dennis..
Harry: I mean he says everyday hes his best friend dude
Elsie: Exactly! And I wouldnt mind so much if it didnt feel like we dont exist to him!
Harry: Of course we exist Elsie we wouldnt be here right now if we were just imaginary!
Elsie: No I know that Harry- but it feels like we dont! He never invites us to do stuff with him! And have you ever considered that we're a dog and cat-
Harry: Duh I know we're a dog and a cat-
Elsie: Just listen Harry! I was saying that we're a cat and a dog but he likes a GOLDFISH more!
Harry: But goldfish are pretty cool!
Elsie: But have you ever considered that we can do a lot more than Dennis? He just swims around and maybe knows a few tricks but you can run really fast and you are very agile!
Harry: Tricks are my thing! AND I can do origami!
Elsie: Exactly! Where as I am just simply beautiful and can look good in anything and have the voice of an angel when I sing! Im also very loving and can even balance on my front paws without the need for my hind legs!
Harry: Not even I can do that..
Elsie: Mhm.. yet Dennis just swims around in the bowl- well now tank and gives random facts! He may be smart but he cant do half the stuff we can do yet hes the favorite!
Harry: You're right dudette.. Dennis is a cool dude but I dont like that he takes all the attention!
Elsie: When Stanley gets home we're gonna make sure he invites us!
Stanley: *Comes home* Oh man Dennis I had a lot of fun!
Dennis: I did too it was exhilarating! The aquarium is a very interesting place wouldnt you say?
Stanley: Yeah! And I loved the little amusement park they had there!
Harry: Sounds like you had a lot of fun dudes..
Stanley: We sure did!
Dennis: Sorry you guys couldnt come I would have liked if you did.. *Staring at Stanley*
Elsie: Oh no its fine we were just.. playing go fish for a few hours.. nothing special
Harry: Not a super fun rollercoaster or anything..
Dennis: Oh dear I knew this was gonna happen- *To camera* do you notice something off about Harry and Elsie? They seem to be jealous and feeling left out..
Elsie: Where are you guys off to next?
Stanley: Now we're gonna head to the park! Then we'll be at the mall! Then tomorrow we'll be at the beach!
Harry: Awesome dude! We just have to go Elsie!
Elsie: What a great idea Harry.. we need to celebrate with you guys!
Dennis: As I said earlier I'd love for you guys to-
Stanley: I already told you guys its a me and Dennis celebration! Im sorry but it has to be between me and him only
Dennis: Stanley.. guys I really dont mind I would love for you to join us-
Stanley: Im sorry Dennis but this is supposed to be between just us! Its our special day!
Harry: Oh.. no I get it.. since Dennis is your *best* friend.. hes cooler than us..
Elsie: I get it anniversaries are important and you have a schedule to keep.. we'll just leave you guys be..
Stanley: Uhhhh ok- see you guys later *Leaves the room*
Dennis: Stanley I really do not mind Harry and Elsie joining us- it doesnt have to be JUST me and you
Stanley: Yes it does if it included them they'd have to be adopted the same day as you!
Dennis: Dont you think you excluding them will make them even more mad at you? No offense Stanley but you seem to leave them out quite a bit..
Stanley: I mean I still love them Dennis but you're my best friend!
Dennis: Yes but that doesnt mean you have to exclude your other friends
Stanley: They're always sleeping and they never ask if they can come! Whats the point in asking them if all they do is eat sleep and sing the great big book of everything theme song?
Dennis: Ummmm.. he kinda has a point doesnt he? But even with that in mind it never hurts to ask! You could always invite them more-

Dennis: Ok then.. *To camera* I dont think this will turn out well in the long run dont you agree? Harry and Elsie may just do that a lot of the time but they're quite talented! They can do stuff I cant do! Dont you think its fair to invite them more?

Harry: Fine.. who needs them anyway! I have you Elsie!
Elsie: Dont be too upset Harry.. maybe by tomorrow he'll invite us to the beach! It wont be the friendiversary then so he'll wanna bring us!

Elsie: But if he doesnt and he ignores us again like hes done for the past who knows how long.. we'll ignore him back!
Harry: You mean just not talk to him?
Elsie: Exactly.. I love him and I know you do too but hes gotta learn how it feels to be left out!
Harry: That seems kinda mean though dont you think..
Elsie: Well he ignores us a lot of the time and thats mean too! He has to know what it feels like!
Harry: Ok whatever you say dudette..
Elsie: This isnt the first time its happened Harry remember when that new pet cafe opened and he didnt think to bring us yet brought Dennis?
Harry: Kinda..
Elsie: Or what about when he went to the dog park without you but went with his grandpa's dog?
Harry: Oh yeah that kinda hurt..
Elsie: Theres been countless times hes ignored us when it comes to activities!
Harry: Yeah its lonely being cooped up inside all day while he does a ton of stuff with Dennis..
Elsie: I guess we'll just wait for him to get home..

Stanley: Man am I tired.. thats enough fun for one day Dennis.. but we're gonna have so much more fun tomorrow!
Dennis: Indeed we will!
Harry: Can we join? I know you said we couldnt today but tomorrow is a new day!
Elsie: And since its not the friendiversary anymore tomorrow.. we figured we'd join along!
Dennis: Not a problem at all! I'd be glad if you-
Stanley: Sorry guys it may not be the friendiversary tomorrow but I still planned it for just me and Dennis-

Elsie: What do you plan on doing now?
Stanley: We're gonna go to the beach then *Lists out the plans for the day*
Harry: Can we PLEASE go!
Stanley: I already said multiple times its just for me and Dennis- lets go before we're late to the water park opening so its not crowded!
Dennis: Sorry guys.. I'll be sure to get you included in the next activity and besides the water park doesnt allow dogs and cats anyway
Stanley: Actually.. I remembered they dont allow any pets.. goldfish included..
Elsie: Oh well in that case how about a nice trip to the pet cafe..
Harry: Or a dog park!
Stanley: Nah.. I think we'll go to the farm to see some animals!
Dennis: Stanley ummmm I really wouldnt mind if Harry and Elsie came along I would actually like it if they did!
Stanley: If this were any other day I'd agree but this is me and you day so lets go! *Leaves*
Elsie: Fine if thats how hes gonna be..
Stanley: I hope they arent too upset with me-
Dennis: They sure seemed to be quite mad.. are you really REALLY sure you dont wanna bring them somewhere? I can let them choose where they wanna go its no big deal!
Stanley: But Dennis.. its supposed to be our day which means just me and you..
Dennis: Well that'd be like saying you're the only one who can celebrate your birthday because the day's about you and when you were born! Sure for more private and personal occasions its best to leave it between just those who someone wishes to be involved but this is just a celebration of when you brought me home! I always join along when you celebrate when you brought home Harry and Elsie

Elsie: Hmmmm an outfit a movie star of the 50s would wear..
Harry: Uhhhhh I dont know how that looks-

Elsie: I know right? Dont you think I'd look stunning in those?
Harry: Well sure but I think you look good just by yourself!
Elsie: I know im already beautiful but I think I could use a makeover..

Elsie: Uhhhhh golden and brown obviously-

Dennis: We'll get to that in a moment but right now we just wanna talk about the recent drama between you guys and Stanley
Elsie: Hes been ignoring us so we're ignoring him.. plain and simple
Stanley: Im sorry guys but every time I try to ask you guys if you wanna hang out you're both always asleep!
Harry: I get tired from eating and running I gotta take long naps!
Stanley: You both have plenty of time to sleep at night but please when I ask you to join me say yes or no! Because then I dont know if you actually DO wanna do something with me and Dennis
Elsie: Thanks for bringing him up.. you dont ever speak to us because of him.. we know hes your favorite but your favoritism neglects us!
Harry: Uhhhh I dont think thats the right word dudette.. or is it?
Dennis: Yeah hes right neglect is a rather strong word.. that'd mean Stanley is just forgetting you exist entirely! Like not feeding you or anything!
Harry: I tried to tell her ignoring you was mean but she wouldnt listen!
Elsie: You went along with it!
Harry: Because I didnt want you getting upset with me!
Stanley: You guys should just stop being lazy and try to play with us! Go into the book with us!
Dennis: This is gonna get ugly quick..
Elsie: Then maybe start asking us! Why is Dennis so important to you but not us! He can barely do anything hes a fish! I love him but all he does is swim around in the tank and talk!
Harry: Yeah we dont like it when you dont talk to us its lonely..
Stanley: You both need to get more involved! And Dennis can do more than just swim and talk!
Elsie: Hes a goldfish!
*They all start arguing with each other*
Dennis: *Blows whistle* Alright everybody! SETTLE DOWN please! Lets act like civilized people here! Now from my understanding I think I know how we can settle this.. Stanley you should start asking Harry and Elsie more often if they wanna do stuff with us but at the same time you 2 oughta stop sleeping the day away! Dont waste your lives cooped up in this room! Theres a life out there to enjoy so.. enjoy it!
Elsie: *Sigh* You're right.. I guess we do sleep a lot..
Harry: And eat a lot!
Elsie: So we'll try to be more involved from now on..

Dennis: Im afraid thats not how you open cans Harry..
Elsie: Now that thats settled what were you guys talking about before we came up here?
Dennis: Oh right! I was just telling Stanley all about different facts about goldfish-
Harry and Elsie: We have a knack for liking goldfish so lets learn about them with a smile so he knows when to smile back! *Pointing at Dennis*
Dennis: Ugh- I forgot they were singing at first.. but that was a longer than usual verse there
Elsie: Coming up with rhymes is hard Dennis sometimes we gotta stretch the song out a bit
Stanley: Goldfish starts with G! *Opens book to the goldfish page*
Dennis: You see that green looking fish right there?
Stanley: Yeah thats not any goldfish I've ever seen
Dennis: It actually is! Thats my ancestor from thousands of years ago! Us goldfish were not always the orange color we are today we uses to be a greyish green color!
Elsie: But then.. how did your kind turn gold?
Dennis: Good question Elsie! After centuries of breeding thats what caused us to have our signature orange color
Stanley: It says here you dont have any teeth how do you chew your food?
Harry: Yeah they do! Look Dennis has his teeth showing right now!
Dennis: Im an exception Harry goldfish typically dont have teeth they tend to crush their food using their throats
Elsie: Goldfish can live up to 40 years?
Dennis: Indeed they can! Under the right conditions goldfish can live up to 45 years! And at this rate I think I'll be one of them!
Harry: Goldfish cant close their eyes? What about you?
Dennis: Like the teeth im an exception when it comes to that but goldfish typically dont have eyelids so they sleep with their eyes open! And heres a neat fact we have a great memory of up to 3 months!
Elsie: That doesnt seem to fit you at all Dennis..
Dennis: And hows that?
Elsie: Because you are a lot smarter and have a lot of characteristics about you a typical goldfish doesnt have
Dennis: I seem to be a special kind perhaps
Stanley: You are special Dennis! You're my pal! But so are you Harry and Elsie *Pets them* im sorry for leaving you guys out so much
Harry: Its ok! I know how us sleeping causes some confusion!
Elsie: Us cats just sleep a lot so really its more my fault than yours..
Stanley: Still I should ask you guys more in case you do wanna get involved
Dennis: We are making progress already! Thats what I like to see!
Harry: Woah you guys are a symbol of good luck?
Dennis: Thats how ancient China saw us way back 2,000 years ago! Goldfish were considered lucky!
Stanley: I think they still are cause we have you living with us!
Dennis: Oh Stanley.. I feel quite lucky to be here with you all as well..
Stanley: Lets go in the book and see more goldfish- actually maybe later how about we go to the pet cafe!
Harry: Oh yeah! I forgot about that!
Elsie: What are we waiting for lets go! If thats alright with you Stanley..
Stanley: Yeah of course lets go!
*They go there and some people there are surprised Harry and Elsie get along so well because of the whole dog cat hating each other stuff*
Harry: How come people were crowded around us?
Dennis: They seem to be rather impressed your best friend's a cat
Elsie: It shouldnt be so weird to people.. also I overheard a kid say he has a goldfish too but its.. al.. pinecone?
Harry: His fish is a pinecone?
Dennis: Alpinecone? Ohhhhh you mean albino!
Stanley: What does albino mean?
Dennis: It means the goldfish that kid owns is very white! There are albino versions of all types of animals that make their fur or skin snow white!
Harry: How many types of goldfish are there dude?
Dennis: From my understanding theres about 200 types of goldfish! My siblings were all of different shades or orange! Some were darker and some were lighter! I also remember that because there were so many of us it felt like our mother ignored some of us despite her trying her best to give her attention to all of us
Stanley: Just like how I ignored Harry and Elsie.. im still sorry guys..
Harry: Its alright dude! We were just asleep for most of it! *Licks Stanley*
Kid: Hey nice goldfish!
Stanley: Oh thanks!
Kid: Can it do any tricks?
Stanley: He sure can! My dog Harry and my cat Elsie can do a whole lot too! Show her guys!
Dennis: You got it!
*They do a whole ton of tricks and everyone gets a round of applause*

Stanley: That pet cafe is really cool! We gotta go again!
Harry: You said it there were so many dogs in there!
Elsie: And cats.. I love being among my own and looking the best out of them
Stanley: How do you like the new tank Dennis?
Dennis: Oh I love it Stanley! Theres so much more room! And so much accessories im looking quite fresh I say!
Stanley: I got it because I learned from Lionel that its not good for goldfish to be kept in tiny bowls like what you had.. im sorry for not knowing that sooner and keeping you in that small bowl
Dennis: Oh its quite alright Stanley I may have loved my old home but this new one is even better! Its not your fault.. the truth is thats just been normalized
Harry: Whats that mean?
Dennis: Normalized meaning when something that used to be uncommon and even outlandish becomes a regular thing everyone does so goldfish being kept in bowls is an example of something being normalized even though its not good for them.. in hindsight I should have told you sooner I was just having so much fun with you I forgot..
Stanley: Its ok Dennis.. with as much as I love animals I should have figured it out a long time ago..
Dennis: Dont beat yourself up too much Stan you're just a kid you're still learning and growing! But we did learn quite a bit about goldfish didnt we?
Stanley: Yeah when we went into the book there were a ton of different types of goldfish I remember my mom telling me about!

Dennis: Indeed there are! Theres over 200 types of goldfish! The type of goldfish that I am is called a comet goldfish!
Harry: Comet goldfish? So those things in the sky that zoom by the house at night every so often are fish?

Dennis: Yep ancient Chinese civilizations saw us as a token of luck and happiness!
Stanley: They are right about the luck and happiness part because im lucky to have you Dennis and you make me the happiest kid in the world!
Dennis: And you make me the happiest goldfish in the world Stanley.. but I think 2 other pets deserve the credit too
Stanley: Right! *Pets Harry and Elsie* you guys are the best too! Im sorry for excluding you so much..
Elsie: Its ok Stanley.. and we're sorry for always sleeping..
Harry: We'll be more active dude!
Stanley: Thanks guys.. and its ok you guys are animals you sleep differently than humans I just wish I didnt exclude you both so much..
