A/N: Another little story featuring jealous Beck. I hope you like it :)

Jade pulled away from her kiss with Moose when they heard his phone ringing. Watching him while he answered his phone, Jade had to admit that he was a good kisser. However that wasn't all. While they had been driving here they had talked a little bit and Moose was actually a decent conversational partner. She had never met someone who loved The Scissoring as much as she did and it was great to finally talk to Moose about it. At first she had just tried to get Moose's attention to win the competition that had started between Cat, Tori and her, but now she saw that Moose was actually a great guy. She was pulled out of her thoughts when Moose put his phone away and told her what the call was about. When she heard the new information, she smirked. The next couple of weeks would be interesting.

Beck's eyes widened when he saw Jade and Moose enter Karaoke Dokie together. The worst thing however was that Moose's arm was casually around Jade's waist and she didn't seem to mind it one bit. Next to him the two other girls in their group looked equally surprised and Tori couldn't help but ask them about it when they sat down at their table.

"I thought that you only like Canadian girls."

"Well she changed my mind." Moose smiled at Jade, who just smirked in return. "Oh and I have great news. Your principal saw me at your school and we started talking. To make it short, I'm allowed to go to Hollywood Arts with you guys for a whole month. Isn't that great?"

Had his best friend from Canada told him that a week ago, Beck would have been more than happy, but seeing that Moose still hadn't removed his arm from around Jade, he didn't think this were good news. Ever since Moose had showed up the girls had been after him and at first Beck had only shaken his head about the fact that Jade was so infatuated with him as well, but now he began to worry. It was rare that his ex-girlfriend let someone close enough to her to touch her, let alone someone she had only known for a few days. Sure, Moose was quite popular with the girls in general, but that Jade had to be so into him as well made Beck feel an unfamiliar feeling in his stomach. Hopefully Jade only wanted to beat Tori and Cat in the contest who could get Moose and this would be over on Monday. Little did Beck know that the rest of the weekend would be even worse for him.

Seeing that Moose was staying with him, they drove home together, but not before Moose said goodbye to Jade.

"I'll see you tomorrow at two for our date, right?" When Jade nodded he leaned down to give her a short kiss before walking over to Beck.

"So you and Jade, huh?" Beck asked when they were both inside his car. Even if he probably wouldn't like what Moose was going to tell him, he just had to know what had happened between the two.

"Yeah, I realized that she is pretty cool. She was honest about liking The Scissoring and man let me tell you, she is a good kisser."

"You can hardly tell that after a two seconds kiss."

"You mean the one I just gave her?" Moose laughed before continuing. "That was really only a small kiss compared to the one she gave me when we were alone in her car. Not only is she a great kisser, but she bought me a hamburger after that too. She is really like the best American girl I ever met."

Beck's hands tightened around the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white from the pressure. Moose had kissed Jade. No, even worse, she had initiated the kiss and according to Moose it hadn't been a small kiss either. Him and Jade had been each others first kisses and Beck knew that outside of a play she had never kissed anyone else. Knowing that she had kissed Moose, made his anger and jealousy flare up. Moose seemed obvious to his mood and kept talking.

"She was the only one who didn't lie to me and when I asked her to come to the ice hockey game with me tomorrow, she said that she would give it a try."

So Jade and Moose had a date tomorrow. Thinking further about it, Beck's heart squeezed painfully. Could it be that his ex-girlfriend was moving on while he was still so hopelessly in love with her? Of course had he told Moose about his girlfriend of three years and that they had broken up a few weeks ago, but he had never told him that his ex-girlfriend was Jade. Back then Beck had thought that it was a good idea to not tell Moose, because he didn't want him to judge Jade before even knowing her. Now however Beck wished that he had explained everything to his friend from Canada, but it was too late. Telling Moose now would only make things awkward and seeing that his friend would stay here for a few weeks Beck didn't want that.

Shaking his head, Beck tried to block out how Moose was talking about Jade and as soon as they arrived home, he got out of the car as fast as he could.

"Now that you're staying for a while my couch is going to get uncomfortable, so I'll quickly ask my parents if you can have the guest room for the time." With that Beck went inside to search for his parents.

It was true that his old couch was uncomfortable to sleep on if it wasn't only for a few days, but that wasn't the main reason why he wanted Moose to have the guest room. Alone the thought of Moose and Jade together and knowing they had already kissed pained Beck and right now he didn't really wanted to be around Moose or hear him talk about Jade. Of course did his parents let his friend stay in the guest room and so Beck found himself alone in his RV after he had wished his friend a good night. If he was honest with himself, he still couldn't believe what had happened the last few days. From the first time since he had introduced Moose to the girls, they had been all wonky about him, but that Jade really considered dating his friend was worse than a punch to the face. However there was a chance that Jade only wanted to rub it in Tori's face that Moose had chosen her. Maybe he didn't have a reason to worry and he was just reading too much into it. Comforting himself with that thought, Beck finally fell asleep, not knowing that he was mistaken.

On Sunday Jade picked Moose up with her car and the two drove to an ice hokey game. At first Jade was a little skeptically, but when she saw how harsh the game could be she began to enjoy it more and more with each guy that met the ice in a painful way. Moose smiled brightly at her when he saw that she was enjoying it, even though she doubted that he knew why she started to like this game. After that he invited her to lunch at a hamburger restaurant. When she told him that she didn't like hamburgers all that much he looked disappointed, but told her that he valued that she was honest with him and ordered her the salad that she wanted. All in all she enjoyed herself and for the first time since her break up with Beck, she was spending a day out on a date.

Later when she dropped Moose off and he kissed her, she thought that it had been the right decision to agree to a date with him. If she was completely honest with herself, she liked spending time with him and getting this kind of attention from a guy felt good. With Beck she had been used to getting compliments and affection all the time and she had missed that. Moose was good looking and he was genuinely interested in The Scissoring, so what more could she ask for? It wasn't like she was deeply in love with him or anything, but after her long relationship with Beck it felt good to just enjoy going on a few dates with a decent guy and that he was a good kisser was just a bonus.

Beck had watched how Jade had dropped Moose off and he had seen their kiss. He knew how Jade kissed when it was a stage kiss and this definitely wasn't one. His fear that Jade wasn't doing this for the competition between the girls, but because she liked Moose grew. Little did he know that when he would go to school the next day it would get even worse.

On Monday morning the group of friends and Moose stood in front of Tori's locker when Jade came over to them. As if they had done this for years Moose greeted Jade with a small kiss before excusing himself to go to Helen's office for his schedule.

"So are Moose and you a couple now?" Robbie asked through Rex.

"We're going on dates and all, but I wouldn't say that we're a couple or anything." Jade shrugged.

"That's all you're going to say to that? If that was me and Tori you would use your scissors to cut up everything we own." Beck couldn't hold back any more.

"It's not like you didn't already try with Tori." At the shocked expressions on everyone's faces, Jade only rolled her eye. "I saw you trying to kiss her over webcam."

"Sorry, that was my fault." Cat immediately apologized, realizing what must have happened. She didn't mean to hurt her best friend even more with accidentally leaving the webcam on. Cat was the only one who knew how bad Jade had felt after the break up with Beck, so the last thing she wanted was for Jade to see something like this.

"But I didn't kiss Tori and you're kissing Moose. That's hardly comparable." Beck argued.

"You only didn't kiss her because she stopped you, but you know what? She can have you for all I care." With that Jade turned to Tori, who looked slightly frightened. "Vega, this idiot clearly wants to date you so do him the favor and go out with him. I allow you to date him or whatever. You aren't ruining our somewhat friendship with that so don't worry. All Beck is to me now is my ex-boyfriend, nothing else."

Beck felt a sharp pain in his heart. Until now Jade had never really let him go and she had still seemed a little jealous when she had seen him with Tori. Now however she had even encouraged Tori to date him. Jade's jealousy had always been a sign for him that she still cared, but now that was gone. Didn't that meant that she didn't love him anymore? That thought hurt and Beck felt like Jade had just stabbed him with one of her beloved scissors. He was almost thankful when someone's words pulled him out of his thoughts.

"She is your ex-girlfriend?" Moose, who chose this moment to approach the group again, asked Beck surprised.

"Don't worry about it. We're all friends here, right Beck?" Jade asked Beck, who only nodded, still in shock about her words.

"Alright then let me buy you some coffee and maybe I can get a hamburger around here." Moose said to Jade and with an arm around her, lead her outside to the Asphalt Cafe.

"Dude, are you really fine with that?" Andre asked worried. When Beck just nodded, his best friend didn't believe him at all. Beck's clenched fists and his tense demeanor spoke volumes of how much he was really bothered by this development. So far Beck never had to be jealous because Jade normally scared other guys away, but Andre could see that Moose wasn't afraid of her and he could understand him. He had fallen for the dark haired beauty as well when they had worked on his song together and when she let you close enough to her you couldn't help but fall for her. Andre sighed while he watched Beck talking to Tori. If he knew his best friend as good as he thought he did, Beck would now try to make Jade jealous by going on a date with Tori.

It turned out that Andre was right, when Beck asked Tori out in front of Jade. To everyone's surprise Jade didn't seem bothered by it and kept talking to Moose about the special effects of The Scissoring. Despite that Beck smiled at Tori when she said yes to the date, he felt anything but happy. Sure, he had tried to kiss Tori a few weeks ago, but he had never stopped loving Jade. He had hoped to make Jade jealous, so he would know that she wouldn't move on with Moose, but all he had done with this was make himself feel even worse.

The date with Tori a few days later was nice. They didn't get kicked out of the restaurant because his date was insulting people, they didn't end up fighting and she even let him bring her home without arguing about it. It was nothing like when he spent time with Jade and that made him miss her even more. Tori was a great girl, but she wasn't Jade.

When Tori kissed him goodbye Beck's stomach twisted in an unpleased way, not that the kiss was disgusting or anything, but the feeling he already had on their date, that this was wrong, intensified. With Jade there was passion and love in their kisses, there was this spark and with Tori it felt more like a stage kiss. It wasn't at all what he had hoped it would be and he nervously ran a hand through his hair. What should he tell Tori? In the end however it was Tori who spoke up first.

"You still love her." It was more a statement than a question, but Beck answered none the less.

"I never stopped."

Tori sighed when she looked at the guy in front of her, before pulling him inside and gesturing for him to sit on the couch while she made hot coco. Why did the guys who were in love with Jade while they didn't have a chance with her always end up here, first Andre and now Beck. When she sat down next to Beck and offered him a cup he gave her a small thankful smile before it dropped again. Beck never showed his emotions and Jade was the same way when it came to an emotion other than anger. Both of them weren't good at showing their feelings. Only when it came to each other they had been very affectionate and had never hesitated to show how much they loved each other.

Despite that Jade was a good actress, Tori had a feeling that she had been serious about being okay with Beck dating again and that was probably why Beck was so worried. Moose being here and all over Jade didn't help as well. Jade was trying to move on and Tori would have been happy for her if it wasn't hurting Beck so much. It was obvious that Beck wanted her back, but with his best friend from Canada here it wasn't working. It hadn't been easy to begin with, but now it was almost impossible. Tori had a feeling that Jade had been more hurt by Beck's behavior than she had let on and now she wouldn't take him back just like that. Tori was sure that Beck knew all this, which made it so much hard for him right now.

"What do you want to do to get her back?"

"I don't know." Beck looked helplessly at her before running a hand through his hair again. "I really don't know." And for once Tori didn't know either.
