This is an attempt to add the next chapter but have no clear way to do this.

First note and thoughts on my upcoming retirement speech.

So, I have to sit down and write this speech but first I have to sort out my thoughts.

Who will be my audience? Must double check this out.

How will I reach all segments of the audience while inspiring other female officers?

Do I or should I include my early life, ADFA, setback etc?

How much about my relationship with Mike.

Should I talk about my Children and help?

Travels, studies,

This is a hard speech to write as while I have a clear understanding of the purpose of this speech.

How I became the first Chief of the Navy and to inspire

There is the audience who will be both male and female.

The speech must clearly convey a central message,

That everyone should aim high, and everyone has THE POSIBILITY OF BEING THE Chief of the Navy

ensuring that the audience understands and retains the key points.

I must remember not to make assumptions that all the audience will be interested because it is about the RAN.

How the hell will I be able to create a captivating opening, organized the body with information and examples, then conclude the speech by reinforcing the main points.

Somewhere in the speech I need to add some anecdotes, stories and examples which will connect with the audience on both intellectual and emotional levels.

I must remember to leave all Mike's jokes out.
