Author's Note: Hello, readers! This is a fanfc that I've recently been thinking about making which is an alternative setting on my fanfic 'An Unexpected Saviour' which I hope you all enjoy. Don't worry, I'm not abandoning its sequel. Just need some cool ideas for its next chapters.

Once a upon time there was a prince and princess exiled to a foreign land by their parents, whose only concern was their plan to create a world that was only suitable for them. Chapter 1: The Day a Saviour Arrives
August 15, 2017
At a damaged warehouse in the Shinjuku Ghettos, Lelouch growled in anger as he was cornered to the wall with Viceroy Clovis's Royal Guards pointing their guns at him while two of the guards held C.C.
"What an appropriate location for a terrorist to meet his end."the Royal Guard Captain sneered.
"You scum!"Lelouch growled in pure anger.
"Still, you did well for a student, but that's to be expected. You're a Britannian."the Royal Guard Captain declared smugly."Unfortunately, my clever young friend, you have no future."
The Captain of the Royal Guard lifted his pistol and aimed it at Lelouch.
"No!"C.C cried out."He must not die!"
The Captain of the Royal Guard prepared to pull the trigger, just as C.C broke free and leapt between the Captain and Lelouch.
BANG!
A bullet came out from the Captain's gun and pierced through C.C's head as her body drops dead to the ground.
Lelouch became more shocked as C.C dropped dead on the ground.
The raven haired boy went on his knees to look at the 'dead' girl.
"You shot her!"Lelouch growled.
The Captain of the Royal Guard looked at C.C's dead body with an unfazed look on his face.
"Our orders were to bring her back alive if possible. Oh well, nothing can be done about it now."the Royal Guard Captain admitted and then smirked at Lelouch."We'll tell our superiors that the Royal Guard found the terrorist hideout and killed them all. Regrettably the female hostage had already been tortured to death. What do you think, schoolboy?"
The fearful look grew on Lelouch's face as he became more scared.
"How can this be happening? First Suzaku's killed. And this girl. Now, I'm about to die."Lelouch thought in horror."Before I've had a chance to do a single thing with my life. It's gone in a heartbeat! Nunnally!"
Suddenly, at the last second, C.C's hand grasped Lelouch's wrist out of the blue.
When she touched his skin, Lelouch felt himself falling into a blue world, electric bolts shooting around him as he steadies down to balance himself.
"You don't want it to end here, do you?"
"What?"Lelouch said in confusion.
"You appear to have a reason for living."
Lelouch became stunned upon realising this was the dead girl's voice.
"The girl?"Lelouch said in disbelief."That's impossible!"
"If I grant you power, could you go on? I propose a deal. In exchange for this power you must agree to make my one wish come true."C.C declared."Accept this contract and you accept its conditions, while living in the world of humans, you will live unlike any other. A different providence, a different time, a different life. The Power of the King will condemn you to a life of solitude. Are you prepared for this?"
Lelouch closed his eyes to feel the powerful sympathy before opening them revealing a look of anger and determination to finalise his decision.
"Yes, I hereby accept the terms of your contract!"Lelouch declared.
With one swing of his right arm, Lelouch jumped back into reality where he felt like an hour, but merely, it's been seconds in reality.
Lelouch had his hand over his left eye as he glared at the Royal Guard of his half-brother.
"Say, how should a Britannian who detests his own country live his life?"Lelouch asked.
The Royal Guards became confused at Lelouch's sudden question
"Are you some kind of radical?"the Royal Guard Captain scoffed.
"What's wrong? Why not shoot? Your opponent is just a schoolboy. Or have you finally realized?"Lelouch retorted."The only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed."
"What's happening here?!"the Royal Guard Captain questioned.
Upon Lelouch's left eye was shown to have a glowing, bird-shaped symbol on his pupil as his smile grew madly.
The Royal Guards remained frozen, not understanding what was happening.
Lelouch's eye flared and shined a brilliant crimson bird-like symbol as he raised his left hand to look directly at the Royal Guards.
"I, Lelouch vi Britannia orders you."Lelouch stated."Now all of you...DIE!"
With one swing and his order, Lelouch looked at the Viceroy Clovis's Royal Guards and then their eyes glowed with red rings around their iris.
"Happily, your Highness!"the Viceroy Clovis's Royal Guards remarked with grotesque smiles.
Then Viceroy Clovis's Royal Guards pull the trigger at their necks and committed suicide, sending small splatters of blood on Lelouch's face that pulled him out of his momentary daze.
"That was the turning point. Since that day, I've lived a lie. The lie of living. My name too was a lie. My personal history, a lie. Nothing but lies."Lelouch thought."I was sick to death of a world that couldn't be changed. But even in my lies, I refused to give up in despair. But now this incredible power…it's mine."
Then a sinister smirk grew on Lelouch's face.
"Well, then…"Lelouch sneered sinisterly.
"Are you done smirking like some sort of sex maniac?"
The sound of a female voice caused Lelouch to narrow his eyes and became alarmed.
"Who's there?!"Lelouch snapped."Come out!"
The sound of footsteps were heard as a figure emerged from the shadows of the warehouse.
The figure was a fourteen year old girl with crimson red hair tied in two ponytails, but her face was not shown since it was covered by a mask off one that appeared to be of the traditional Japanese folklore. She wore a black cardigan over a white collared, long-sleeved shirt, matched with a short plaid red skirt and black knee-length boots.
"Who are you?"Lelouch demanded."How long were you standing there?"
"Relax, pretty boy."the masked girl retorted."I've only been here for five minutes."
The masked girl casually walked over to C.C.
"Hey."the masked girl responded."How long you attend to pretend to be dead? You're acting is not working."
C.C's amber eyes suddenly opened causing Lelouch to become shocked.
"You…how do you know I was alive?"C.C questioned.
"You're an Immortal Witch that is able to grant anyone the Power of Geass and has lived for nearly 600 years."the masked girl complemented with a shrug."Since you're immortal, you can't die. Whether you're hit from a gun or slashed with a sword. Not to mention you're usually lazy and the only thing you ever eat is actually pizza."
A dumbstruck appeared on C.C's face before it melted into one of suspicion.
"Do I know you from somewhere?"C.C asked.
A chuckle escaped from the masked girl's hidden lips.
"You do."the masked girl remarked kindly."But it hasn't happened…yet."
The masked girl then looked at Lelouch.
"I also know about you…Lelouch vi Britannia."the masked girl admitted."The former 11th Prince and only son of 5th Imperial Consort and the former Knight of Six, Marianne vi Britannia."
Both Lelouch and C.C were shocked at the masked girl's respond.
"Just who the heck are you?"Lelouch questioned.
"Don't worry, I'm not with Britannia."the masked girl assured."My name is Kitsune. I'm a girl that is actually sixteen years from the future."
Looks of disbelief appeared on C.C and Lelouch's faces.
"You're…from the future?"Lelouch asked.
"Yep. So I know everything that will happen. But I've also come to prevent some bad things from happening as well."Kitsune said with a nod and her voice turned sour."Such as preventing you from dying with having the whole world hating you."
A disturbed look appeared on Lelouch's face while C.C appeared slightly calm.
"You really a time traveler from the future."C.C complemented.
"Yes. You are the one in the future that granted me the Geass Power to travel back in time, C.C."Kitsune declared and looked at Lelouch."Since you just got your Geass Power, you should know the very first things, pretty boy. It's the Power of Absolute Obedience. It makes you plant commands within a person's mind through direct eye contact. The ability cannot influence the same individual twice. But you have to be very careful what you say because the power you have can go haywire anytime, so don't ever say anything awful around anyone such as a bad joke that can cause a massacre."
Lelouch was utterly silent at Kitsune's respond.
"I see."Lelouch murmured."So that's the name of my Geass and what it does."
"You won't need to worry, Lelouch."Kitsune assured and gave a bow at Lelouch."I have come to this timeline to help you create a better world for you and the people you care about. But also the utter demise of your worst enemies. So have no fear. I shall be your shield and guidance through your whole journey."
"Umm…sure."Lelouch responded, slowly overcoming his shock."Thank you."
"And since you've accepted making a contract with me, you need to remember to grant my wish in return, Lelouch."C.C informed.
From behind her mask, Kitsune frowned at C.C's declaration.
"You mean your wish to die and have your immortality dumped on Lelouch?"Kitsune assumed.
Utter shocked looks appeared on C.C and Lelouch's faces.
"What?"Kitsune scoffed."That's your wish isn't? You have lived so long that you want your code of immortality to pass to someone else."
"You know for a person from the future, you seem to have a nasty habit of spoiling things."C.C declared with a frown.
"I'm a terribly honest human being, Pizza Girl."Kitsune retorted with a hint of amusement."I tell the truth even though it hurts."
Lelouch smirked at Kitsune.
"I like you already."Lelouch admitted.
"Don't get any weird ideas, pretty boy."Kitsune scowled causing Lelouch's smirk to vanish."I maybe from the future, but I won't be someone you can use as a piece in a chess game. In return for my help, you need to promise me something in return."
"What is it?"Lelouch questioned sarcastically."A dinner date?"
Kitsune points an accusing finger at Lelouch causing the atmosphere around them to become tense.
"You will follow these rules."Kitsune declared in a firm yet strict tone."Rule Number One: You will be open to anyone who will become your ally. Rule Number 2: Don't be too secretive to those around you, if you want to prevent your enemies to get the upper hand. Rule Number 3: You will think carefully before planning any course of action. Rule Number 4: Don't use your Geass for unnecessary things and extra careful on what you say because it can go haywire anytime. Got it?"
"Fine."Lelouch scoffed with a frown.
"If you two are done, shall we go now?"C.C questioned."It won't be long until the military arrive here to look for me and have me returned to Prince Clovis as his guinea pig for more painful experiments."
"Yes. We can go."Kitsune agreed and began to walk away, only to turn around to look at Lelouch."Oh, I almost forgot. There's Rule Number 5 that is also very important fo you to follow, Lelouch."
"Let me guess."Lelouch retorted."You want a big reward of money."
"Not really."Kitsune said brightly."Just don't make out with any girl unless she's your true love."
Lelouch's face turned fiery red in shock while C.C covered her mouth from bursting into laughter.
"PARDON?!"Lelouch shouted in anger.
Kitsune checked on her watch for the time.
"Might as well get the Sutherland that's coming here."Kitsune insisted and started counting."In 3, 2, 1…"
At the exact moment, the Sutherland of Villetta Nu burst through the warehouse, expecting to see Eleven terrorists, but saw only Lelouch, Kitsune and C.C standing over the dead bodies of the Royal Guard.
"Why are the Royal Guards dead and three Britannians standing in the middle of all of them."Villetta thought suspiciously and notice C.C."Wait a minute! That's the girl that Prince Clovis was looking for!"
C.C glanced at Kitsune.
"Got a plan?"C.C questioned.
"Yes."Kitsune assured softly and glanced at Lelouch."Tell the Britannian whore that you're son of a duke and I'm your bodyguard."
Lelouch gives Kitsune a small glare.
"This better works."Lelouch muttered."I don't want to end up being in the hands of Clovis."
Villetta's voice then broadcasted from her Sutherland.
"What happened?"Villetta demanded."Why are Britannian students here?"
Neither Lelouch, Kitsune or C.C responded to Villetta's question.
"Are you three death?!"Villetta scowled."Answer me!"
Then Villetta used her Sutherland to burst gunfire to bracketed the trio, tearing through the warehouse wall behind them.
"My deepest apologises!"Lelouch called out."My name is Alan Spencer and my father is a Duke! The masked girl next to me is my bodyguard!"
Kitsune grabbed C.C and aimed her gun at her.
"We have caught this mysterious fugitive that happens to be who Prince Clovis is looking for!"Kitsune admitted."After you check our identities, my lord requests your protection!"
"Please!"C.C begged, acting like a damsel in distress and trying to break away from Kitsune's hold."Let me go!"
Inside the Sutherland, a smirk appeared on Villetta's face.
"A son of a duke seeks protection and a reward from Prince Clovis of capturing the person he wanted."Villetta murmured."Must be my lucky day."
The member of the Purist Faction then brought her attention on the trio.
"Student, keep your hands up."Villetta instructed."Bodyguard, put your weapon on the ground and do the same."
Kitsune lowered her gun, but she didn't put the weapon on the ground.
"Do it now!"Villetta demanded.
Villetta's Sutherland pointed its rifle at Kitsune.
"Miss Windsor, please do as the knightmare pilot requested."Lelouch declared.
"As you wish, my lord."Kitsune answered simply.
Kitsune then placed her gun on the ground and raised her hands up.
"Good."Villetta answered.
Villetta then exited her Sutherland and pulled out her pistol as she approached the trio.
"Keep your hands up in the air, I'll take out your ID."Villetta declared.
Smug smirks appeared on Lelouch, Kitsune (though her face hidden) and C.C that Villetta fell for their act.
"Now then, hand me your Knightmare."Lelouch ordered.
Lelouch activated his Geass and red ringlets appeared in Villetta's eyes.
"Understood."Villetta responded."The code number is XG21G2D4."
Villetta spins her ignition key and throws it to Lelouch which he caught it.
"Got it."Lelouch answered."You will remain here for a couple minutes and afterward you will have no memory of meeting the three of us."
"Understood, my lord."Villetta replied.
Lelouch, Kitsune and C.C then casually walked past Villetta to make their way to her Sutherland.
"Since Clovis had surrounded the ghetto, the only way out is through him."C.C informed.
Kitsune hands Lelouch and C.C each small earpieces that they'll use to communicate with one another.
"Using these earpieces we can contact each other."Kitsune exclaimed as she gestured to the earpiece on her right ear."So if any of you are in trouble, I'll come by."
"Right."C.C said with a nod.
Lelouch nodded in agreement and then climbed on top of Villetta's Sutherland.
Kallen Stadtfeld (or rather Kallen Kōzuki as she prefers to be known as) was having a bad day.
First her friend Nagata was killed because her companions didn't follow the exact plan that they formed and now that damn Prince Clovis ordered the purge of the entire Shinjuku Ghetto.
As a result, the young and elderly were killed indiscriminately in this massacre.
Strong reigning over the weak.
That's how Britannians live their lives.
How she despised Britannians.
Kallen rode on her Glasgow trying to defend the fleeing Japanese people from the Britannians while Ohgi and the other members of the resistance do the same as well.
A scowl escaped from Kallen's face as she rode on her Glasgow to try and flee from the Sutherlands of Jeremiah and another member from the Purist Faction.
"It's our Glasgow friend."Jeremiah sneered.
Kallen paled upon realising when her Glasgow made a warning noise due to running low in power.
"Just 30 minutes left!"Kallen retorted.
Then Lelouch's voice contacted her.
"The west entrance."Lelouch instructed."Use the tracks to move to the west entrance."
"Who's this?!"Kallen demanded."How do you know this code?!"
"That doesn't matter."Lelouch answered."If you wanna win, you're just gonna have to trust me."
"To win?"Kallen said in surprise and decided to trust the mysterious voice."Okay, what am I supposed to do now?"
Jeremiah's Sutherland continued chasing Kallen's Glasgow.
"You pathetic Eleven."Jeremiah snarled."If you simply run away, this hunt hasn't much to offer in the way of sport."
Kallen ignored her chasers and listened to Lelouch.
The red haired girl manoeuvred her Glasgow onto the train tracks and as she travelled down the rails, she saw a train approaching her.
"Since you trusted me, you're gonna win."Lelouch assured."Jump onto the train!"
Kallen's Glasgow jumped onto the train and continued down the rails.
Jeremiah scoffed at the Glasgow's action.
"You think you can get through that way, hmm? If that's your plan, then…"Jeremiah started and glanced at his subordinate."You! Go after the Glasgow!"
"Yes, My Lord!"the pilot answered.
Kallen turned around and she saw one of the two Sutherlands stop the train.
The second Sutherland jumped, but was destroyed by Slash Harkens from Lelouch's Sutherland.
"What the? Shot by friendly fire?"Jeremiah said in disbelief."What's your name and your unit?! We're after the one armed Glasgow!"
Lelouch's Sutherland then proceeded to fire Jeremiah's Sutherland.
"Oh my god!"Jeremiah shouted."A terrorist?!"
Jeremiah's Sutherland attempts to attack Lelouch's Sutherland, but has his Knightmare's Landspinner destroyed.
"Ahhh!"Kallen cried out.
Kallen's Glasgow rushed to towards Jeremiah's Sutherland, prompting him to eject.
"You son of a–!"Jeremiah growled.
Jeremiah quickly ejected before his Surtherland exploded.
"You saved me."Kallen remarked with a relieved smile."But how did you get ahold of a Sutherland?"
Kallen turned around and then notice Lelouch's Sutherland was gone.
"What?"Kallen said in surprise."Where did he go?"
Then Ohgi and the rest of his resistance group rushed towards Kallen.
"Kallen!"Ohgi called out."What the hell was that radio message earlier?"
"What?"Kallen said in surprise."He contacted you, too?"
"Sure did."Ohgi responded."And Yoshida's group ought to be here soon."
Lelouch then contacted Ohgi with the radio.
"Are you in charge?"Lelouch asked.
"Ah, yeah."Ohgi answered.
"I present to you the cargo in that train over there."Lelouch declared."They're tools for your victory. If you want to use them to win, then follow my orders."
The members of Ohgi's Resistance Group opened the cargo of the train, only to become amazed to find full of Sutherlands.
"There's more in here!"
"Here, too!"
"Amazing! Maybe we should give this guy a chance!"
"All this?"Kallen murmured in awe."But how?"
"Woman in the Glasgow!"Lelouch called out.
"Y-yes!"Kallen responded.
"Stay where you are."Lelouch instructed."Your unit's gonna run decoy. You got that?"
Kallen nodded. "Understood."
"Energy filler status?"Lelouch questioned.
"About 15 minutes worth."Kallen admitted.
"Then recharge it!"Lelouch ordered."In 10 minutes, I'll contact you with your next instructions!"
Somewhere in the Shinjuku Ghetto…
Kitsune was preparing to use the Sutherland she stolen and sprayed it in a dark pink colour as C.C watched her.
"You're getting involved with the battle?"C.C questioned.
"Of course, I am."Kitsune responded as she pressed a few buttons in the cockpit of the Sutherland."That midget Kururugi will come by piloting that wretched Knightmare of his called the Lancelot. No way, I'll let him interfere this time."
The Sutherland of the masked girl activated before taking off, leaving C.C by herself.
In Lelouch's Sutherland…
Lelouch leant back in the Sutherland's chair with a sigh, a hand over his face as he tried to get himself under control.
Then Kitsune contacted him.
"Zero, it's me."Kitsune declared."Is everyone ready?"
"Almost."Lelouch replied with a determined look and then became confused."Why did you just call me, 'Zero'?"
"Because it's a codename that suits you!"Kitsune retorted."Would you preferred being called 'The Emperor's Spawn'?"
A glare appeared on Lelouch's face at the mention of the man that ruined the life of him and his younger sister.
"No. Of course not."Lelouch answered."I'm nothing like that man."
"Good. Oh, a little fact you should know."Kitsune admitted sternly."Your so called 'best friend' is alive and will come by in an infamous white Knightmare created by the Britannian Special Corps known as the Lancelot to try and wipe out the resistance group."
A surprised look appeared on Lelouch's face.
"Suzaku is alive?"Lelouch asked."Are you sure? But why is he-"
"Don't get carried away!"Kitsune retorted in a sharp tone causing Lelouch to cringe at the tone of her voice."And remember what I told you; Do not use Kallen and the resistance group as they were chess pieces in one of your incredibly boring games! This is a battlefield and every life matters!"
Lelouch groaned, annoyed at hearing his so-called saviour telling him off like he was some spoiled child that messed up something.
"Alright."Lelouch grumbled as he rubbed his face."If you're done lecturing me. Can we start our battle against Clovis?"
"Very well."Kitsune answered simply."We can begin."
Then Kitsune ended the conversation as a scoff escaped from Lelouch's mouth.
"So stubborn."Lelouch muttered in dismay.
In the Shinjuku Ghetto…
Ohgi and his resistance group were now inside the Sutherlands, ready for Lelouch's next orders.
"Hey, are you certain about this whole thing?"
"They've all had their IFFs removed."
"What if this is a trap?"
Ohgi replied inside his Sutherland.
"The other side has total advantage in this war."Ohgi declared."They don't need to set any traps. All right people, let's move. Get to your assigned points."
"P1, can you move?"Lelouch asked."It operates basically the same as what you're used to."
"Can't you tell us who you are, at least your name?"Ohgi questioned.
"Call me 'Zero'."Lelouch insisted.
Kallen was confused at the voice's name.
"Zero as in nothing?"Kallen assumed.
"Just call me that."Lelouch responded and focused back on the battle."Anyway, if Q1 is on schedule, enemy Sutherlands, probably two of them, will reach you in 23 seconds. Shoot them through the wall."
"Ugh."Tamaki groaned."His out of his mind."
"Everyone, double check your weapons."Ohgi instructed.
"What?!"Tamaki said in disbelief."Are you serious?"
Following under Lelouch's orders, Ohgi's resitance group easily dominated Clovis' forces.
They systematically destroy all Britannian units in the area, but Clovis was determined to not be defeated comes up with a plan.
The 3rd Prince of Britannia gave the order to break the encirclement protecting him in order to surround the area where the rebels were suspected to be believing that they have a number advantage, but the rebels have retreated to the subways.
Kallen then used her Glasgow's Slash Harken to damage the supports which caused the ground underneath Clovis' units to collapse, effectively destroying them.
Inside the G-1 Mobile Base, Clovis was utterly horrified at seeing himself easily beaten by an opponent that appeared to be more superior to him.
"Who? Who in the hell am I up against?"Clovis thought in terror."What if he's even better than Tohdoh?"
The Viceroy of Area 11 then made a decision.
It was now the moment to allow the Camelot's Advanced Special Envoy Engineering Corps to send their 7th Generation Knightmare Frame known as the Lancelot to deal with the wretched Elevens.
"Lloyd!"Clovis shouted.
"Yes, Your Highness?"Lloyd asked.
"Can it win?"Clovis questioned."Can your toy beat them?"
Lloyd simply smiled at the 3rd Prince of Britannia's question.
"My Lord, please be so kind as to call it Lancelot."Lloyd insisted.
In Kitsune's Sutherland…
Kitsune got contacted by Lelouch.
"Yes, Zero?"Kitsune asked.
"My plan has worked, Kitsune."Lelouch chuckled."I can beat Britannia."
An unfazed look appeared on Kitsune's hidden face.
"Don't get overconfident, pretty boy."Kitsune scowled."This battle is far from over. Your best friend's wretched Knightmare is going make his first debut."
"Right. Sorry."Lelouch responded in an apologetic tone."Should I warn the resistance group of the enemy's ace?"
"Bravo. Now you're using your head right."Kitsune praised sarcastically."Tell them the enemy has a new and experimental Knightmare frame at their disposal which none of them don't stand a chance against it. Order them to 'keep-away' from the Lancelot."
"What are you going to do?"Lelouch questioned.
"A surprise attack."Kitsune said simply."Here's the plan…"
In the Shinjuku Ghetto…
The Lancelot travelled around the ruined ghettos of Shinjuku to look and wipe out the terrorists that were destroying Prince Clovis' unit.
The White Knightmare looked through each side and broken building for any sign of the terrorists, but saw no one.
"Wha?"Suzaku said in confusion."Did they vanish?"
However, gunfires were then heard and Suzaku flinched in shock as several bullets slammed into the Lancelot's back, knocking him out of his charge.
"They were hiding!"Suzaku scowled in disbelief."They must've learned I was coming somehow!"
The Lancelot began deflecting their bullets and swiping at them with Blaze Harkens.
Kallen watched her companions' Sutherlands fire at the Lancelot, but was anxiously waiting for the right moment to make her move.
The Lancelot kept whipping his shields around in a bid to ward off the continuous assault from the hidden enemy even as the attacks from the rear kept up.
Suzaku then made his Knightmare Frame use his grapples to leap onto a small building in a bid to get to higher ground.
Ohgi contacted Lelouch.
"He came as you said, Zero!"Ohgi informed."He has deployed some sort of energy shield and now attempting to escape!"
"Just a bit more."Lelouch stated."My second-in-command, Kitsune will be coming in just about…now!"
Kitsune's Sutherland burst through the wall of an entrance and its hand punched through the roof that the Lancelot was standing on before grabbing its leg and holding the mech in place.
Inside the Lancelot…
Suzaku contacted Cécile and Lloyd.
"They've caught me!"Suzaku shouted.
"Suzaku, you need to get out of there!"Cécile insisted.
"I'm trying, Miss Cécile!"Suzaku assured.
"Oh dear."Lloyd remarked brightly."I would hate to think about getting a replacement for you, Major Kururugi."
Cécile glared at Lloyd in annoyance.
"Lloyd!"Cécile snapped."Not helping!"
In the Shinjuku Ghetto…
Suzaku cursed as the Lancelot was knocked around the inside of the cockpit, looking up through the monitor to see the enemy surrounding him on all sides and perched on top of the taller buildings.
Gunfire rained down on the mech from all sides due to the rebels' Sutherlands keeping unloading fire after fire into the Lancelot.
"Damn!"Suzaku retorted.
The Lancelot attempted to use one of the Lancelot's Blaze Harkens at the hand of Kitsune's Sutherland that held him and then…
WHAM!
Kallen's Glasgow came and kicked the Lancelot directly on the face.
As a result, this caused Kitsune's Sutherland to release the Lancelot's leg and the White Knightmare Frame was send crashing into a wall and sink into the depths of the abandoned building, buried under several tons of collapsed concrete and steel.
The members of Ohgi's Resistance Group cheered at their first ever victory they had since losing their main leader.
From inside the Glasgow, Kallen cheered at their success.
"Yes!"Kallen chuckled in joy."We did it!"
"This Zero guy really knows his stuff!"Tamaki sneered.
Then Lelouch contacted Ohgi and the members of his resistance.
"All of you."Lelouch spoke up, snapping them out of their celebrating moods."Fall back immediately and evacuate the civilians. Use the Sutherlands as cover and if possible avoid the remaining Britannian forces."
Kallen turned her attention on the pink Sutherland and saw it was no longer in sight.
"Where did the pink Sutherland go?"Kallen asked in confusion.
Inside Kitsune's Sutherland…
Instead of celebrating the success of the Shinjuku Battle, there was a hateful glare in the masked girl's face.
"The Lancelot."Kitsune thought coldly."A dangerous Knightmare that had proved a thorn in the Black Knight's side since their first yet unofficial battle here in Shinjuku. Though Lelouch considered letting the scene play out exactly the same, as there as no way the rebels could fight in Military Issue Sutherlands. Though this time, I changed this event."
A scowl escaped Kitsune's mouth.
"Maybe not today."Kitsune thought in a cruel tone."But I'll look forward to give the Lancelot's pilot a painful beating for another time."
Kitsune then took out her hot pink iPhone which had a white usagi charm on it.
The masked girl checked her schedule list and typed 'SUCCESS' in the part of the list that said 'Battle of Shinjuku'.
"Let's see, what's next?"Kitsune murmured as she checked on her iPhone, only to become shocked."His going after Clovis!"
C.C stood at a safe yet ruined building in Shinjuku, glancing at the setting sun in thought.
"A saviour from the future?"C.C murmured casually."Let's see how her presence will change the game…"
Somewhere in the Shinjuku Ghetto, Lelouch parked Villetta's Sutherland behind a ruin that was accessible though out of sight from the remaking patrols that guarded Clovis' G-1 Base.
The raven haired boy then slipped into a soldier uniform that he had swiped from one of the guards on the train.
Lelouch then used his Geass to make the soldiers surrounding the G-1 Base leave, so that he can be alone with Prince Clovis.
At gunpoint, the former prince of the imperial family ordered his older half-brother to order a ceasefire and putting an end to the massacre of the Shinjuku, saving the lives of Kallen and her comrades.
After ordering the ceasefire, Clovis went to sit back on his throne chair.
"There, I've done as you asked, satisfied?"Clovis asked.
"Very, well done."Lelouch responded.
"And what shall we do now?"Clovis questioned."Sing a few lively ballads, or perhaps a nice game of chess?"
"Chess, huh?"Lelouch said."Now that has a familiar ring."
Clovis raised an eyebrow, curiously thinking about what he meant by 'familiar ring' as he took off his helmet and throws it aside.
"Don't you recall?"Lelouch asked."The two of us used to play chess together as boys. Of course, I would always win."
he states something that Clovis does't recall.
"What?"Clovis scoffed.
"Don't you remember?"Lelouch asked as he began to walk forward."At the Aries Villa?"
"You?"Clovis retorted with a frown."Who are you?"
"It's been a long time, big brother."Lelouch stated.
Lelouch simply smirked as he moved out of the darkness of the shadows causing Clovis to become utterly shocked at seeing his younger half-brother.
"The eldest son of the late consort Marianne and 17th in line to the imperial throne."Lelouch declared as he kneels with his left hand on his chest while his right with the pistol behind his back."Lelouch vi Britannia, at your service."
"Lelouch?!"Clovis gasped in disbelief as he stood up from his throne."But I thought-"
"That I was dead?"Lelouch finished smugly."You were wrong."
Clovis didn't say anything since he couldn't believe that the younger brother he cared about actually survived the invasion of Japan despite the dangers.
"I have returned, Your Highness."Lelouch stated with a smirk."And this time, I've come back to change everything."
