Blitzo honestly could say that he had very few people he cared about, but they were all precious to him. Most of those who he once treasured were gone in some form or another, mostly dead. Others had left, and a few he pushed away out of fear. It was honestly a miracle that he still had Loona, Moxxie, Millie, and Stolas in his life, but even then he couldn't help but fear he had nearly ruined their lives and gotten them killed with his actions. No matter what the others said, the truth was the whole kidnapping incident wouldn't have happened if he hadn't taken that book from Stolas for his company. Yet it was the company that had given him the best years in his life since he ruined it a hundred years ago. A hundred years afterward that he had spent trying to forget.

When he woke up and felt his entire body in agony, he knew he had done something stupid again. Yet, the one thing that comforted him, and kept him silent, was Moxxie's little speech. This wasn't the first time they have had moments like these, but it was the most emotional and heartfelt Blitzo experienced in their time together. Because, just as Moxxie confessed Blitzo was his best friend, Moxxie was perhaps Blitzo's best friend as well.

Yet, if he was honest, he hadn't treated Moxxie as a best friend since they started working together. He had humiliated him, used him, and made fun of him for everything because he honestly was jealous of what Moxxie had. He had a loving wife, an optimistic personality, and he was smart. Smarter than Blitzo, at least. And yet he respected him, risked his life for the little imp, and never doubted for a second his ability to get the job done because he was that good at being an assassin. Satan, I am so fucked up in my priorities...

Slowly lifting himself up, Blitzo slowly rested his head upon his pillow while Moxxie got him a cold drink of water. His throat was as dry as a desert, and he drank the cup greedily before coughing up a few times. "What...happened?"

"You don't remember, sir?" Moxxie asked, looking unsure.

"Just something you and Millie announced, and then the next moment, I found myself heading headfirst towards a car," Blitzo admitted as he held his head with a hand. A lot of it was blurry.

"...you had an...episode, Blitz."

"You mean I fucking lost it again?" Blitzo muttered, shaking his head. He saw the hesitation on Moxxie's face and sighed. "What was it? Just tell me. I mean, I'm not exactly in a position to go crazy again, and you're fast enough to stop me."

Moxxie was quiet for a bit before finally answering, "We're having a baby."

"...Really?" Blitzo asked as his eyes widened. It then hit him why he reacted to what he did, and his mind turned to a particular demon deep in his heart that he had never forgiven himself for killing. Closing his eyes, he felt his eyes get misty before Blitzo let out a few tears as Moxxie reached for his hand and squeezed it. "I...What did I...say?"

"Nothing, but we figured it out pretty easy..." Moxxie answered with a heavy sigh before standing up. Blitzo slowly looked his friend in the eye as he firmly asked, "Your wife was pregnant when she died. Wasn't she?"

Blitzo tried to say something. Anything. Yet, he couldn't. Except for that one outburst six months ago after his rescue, Blitzo had never once said anything about his former wife...and even less about their child. It was still too painful. Even after all these years, he couldn't move on, and a large part of him didn't want to do so. A punishment for his failure and responsibility in their deaths. It was not the starting moment of Blitzo's misery in his life, but it was the final straw that had broken him into becoming the monster he had always believed himself to be ever since he learned he killed his mother with his birth. Zella and their baby didn't have to die, but they did, and it was all Bltizo's fault.

"I'm sorry..." Blitzo whispered as he silently sobbed. "H-How bad?"

"You almost died," Moxxie admitted with a harsh tone that made Blitzo gulp. "For about seven seconds, you were dead. Just lifeless there on the table until they revived you. I've never seen Loona look more scared or Millie look fainter. I was this close to rushing over there and doing CPR myself just to get you to come back."

Two thoughts ran through Blitzo's head at the same time. The first was gratefulness that he was alive. That was a normal thought for any living being. And yet, there was a second thought at the same time. One more quieter but yet terrible thought: You should have let me die.

"How are the girls?" Blitzo asked, trying to ignore the voices in his already messed up head.

"Millie's been feeling nothing but guilt since you nearly killed yourself," Moxxie answered, glaring at him, which made Blitzo gulp. If there was one thing Blitzo learned a long time ago when working with Moxxie, you never ever mess with his wife. The guy could go through an entire legion of demons and angels combined just to protect her. "And you are going to tell her it's not her fault for what happened, or I will personally take your pony collection and flush them down the toilet."

"Noted," Blitzo nodded while making a mental note to hide his most precious models in a safe place when he got out of here. "And L-L-Loona?"

"In tears, but that's to be expected when a daughter nearly sees her father die," Moxxie replied, a bit harsher than Blitzo expected but felt no reason to correct him. "Sir, you have to open up. Who is Zella, and what happened to her?"

"Moxxie, please..." Blitzo whispered as he closed his eyes.

"No, no more, sir!" Moxxie shouted, getting up in his face while forcing Blitzo down on the bed. Despite the pain, Blitzo couldn't help but whimper as Moxxie stood as tall as possible and looked down at the wounded imp with rage. "Six months, we've been doing everything we can to help you, but you refuse to open up! I will not put Millie, Loona, Prince Stolas, Princess Octavia, and myself through this anymore! I do not want to see you hate yourself so much that you refuse to do anything to help because you feel that you deserve it! Newsflash, Blitzo—and I'm using the fucking 'O' so suck it up—but all of us have our demons inside of us! Even me! Do you think you are the only demon here who has regrets?! I do too! I have so many regrets and secrets that I don't even know when to begin, but I'll tell you one right now just to show that I mean what I say when I want to help you!"

Blitzo blinked as Moxxie took a deep breath and slowly backed away. He held his hand up as if asking for a minute to collect himself. He had never seen his employee act this way and wonder just what the fuck Moxxie could have had that was so secretive? He never pictured the whiny little guy having a dark secret since he was always so nice and—for a relative word—normal.

Moxxie slowly took a moment to collect himself before turning to Blitzo with a serious expression. "What I am about to say to you, you cannot tell anyone else. Okay? I'll keep whatever you tell me a secret, no matter how big or small if I tell you this one thing about me. Deal?"

Blitzo only nodded as Moxxie took a deep breath before slowly lifting his sleeve up and showed a small letter and numbered tattoo on his wrist that he had never seen before: ACDS-131524240905.

"This? This is my name. My real name," Moxxie answered, which made Blitzo's eyes widened. "I wasn't born Moxxie. I was born with a serial number that my parents gave me."

"The actual fuck?!" Blitzo asked as he grabbed the hand and looked at the image again. He tried to make heads or tails of what he was looking at, but for the life of him, Blitzo couldn't figure it out, and he had been around for a long time. "What kind of parents give their kids serial numbers?!"

"The worst kind," Moxxie answered as he pulled his arm away and rolled his sleeve back up. "I wasn't a son to my parents. I was a tool. Nothing more and nothing less. I didn't know what it was like to be raised by a loving family until I was sixteen, and that was entirely by accident."

"W-What happened?" Blitzo asked, now fully curious.

"What happened with you and Zella?" Moxxie asked back, making his boss wince. "I told you something, boss. Now tell me something. Anything!"

Blitzo hesitated at first but then sighed and lowered his head. "I...I...I..."

Reaching for his hand again, Moxxie held him and soon developed him in a hug. "Sir, it doesn't have to be about how she died or how you met. Just something about her. Please?"

Sobbing, Blitzo hugged him back and held on tight as he spoke about her for the first time since her death. "Z-Z-Z-Z-Zella and I? W-W-W-We were going to name our daughter L-L-Luna. It was a girl and...and when I saw Loona all those years ago...a frightened little baby girl...alone in the woods...I thought...I thought...I thought I had a second chance with her...I named her after the daughter I lost..."

Moxxie held his boss tighter as he slowly sobbed into his shoulder until he let out a full-on wail that made others outside stop and wonder just what kind of sorrow such a demon was going through to make him cry out like that. A few minutes passed before Blitzo finally began to calm down and slowly relaxed as Moxxie handed him a tissue box. Despite the sorrow he felt inside, Blitzo couldn't help but let out a slight relief upon admitting something about Zella...as well as say the name of her and their daughter out loud again.

"Feeling better?" Moxxie asked as Blitzo rubbed his eyes with a tissue. "You should let Loona know, by the way."

"W-Why?" Blitzo asked, sniffing.

"I think she'd like to know that she was named after someone so important to you," Moxxie pointed out, which made Blitzo slowly nod. "I don't suppose you got any advice for name picking a child?"

Blitzo snorted and chuckled. "Let your wife be the one who decides. Trust me. Far easier that way."

Moxxie gave a soft smile before slowly looking deep into his hands. Blitzo knew what he was thinking because he had been there before. Finding out that the woman you love is pregnant was a life-changing experience. And while it brought pain to Blitzo the more he thought about that day, there was no denying the joy he felt when he heard about it. For Blitzo, it wasn't just the fact he was having a baby with Zella, the one he secretly married, but the feeling that fate had blessed him with true joy in his life after so many years of hardship. And then I fucked it all up...

"Sir?" Moxxie asked, getting Blitzo's attention as the smaller imp nervously looked at him, "do...do you think I'll be a good f-f-father?" Running his hand behind his head, Moxxie continued, "My real father was an asshole. I never want to be like him or my mother. The ones that I looked to as a father and mother figure they were...they were some of the best people I ever knew, but I don't know if I can be as good as them...or as good as you are with Loona."

"Mox, look at me." Moxxie did so and then got a slap in the face by his boss. "There. You done acting like a wimp?"

"Sir?" Moxxie asked, rubbing his cheek.

"Moxxie, I'm only going to say this once, so listen to me with both your ears. And you better not tell anyone I said this," Blitzo responded as he leaned forward. "You're a better person than me. You're better than me because you've never done anything to act like a dick to those you've loved. You've always treated Millie right, and you've always been sympathetic to those who need it. Unlike me, who pretty much acted like an asshole sometimes."

"Sometimes?" Moxxie asked, eyebrows raised.

"Fine, half the time," Blitzo rolled his eyes. "Look, do you know why I asked you and Millie to look after Loona when I thought I was going to get killed back at Stella's family house? Because I trusted you two more than anyone to look after my baby girl. You two of all demons. Because I knew you two would be there for her and be the parent figures she needed in life should anything happen to me. So trust me when I say this that the kid inside Millie's stomach is going to be the luckiest brat in the fucking universe because they have got the best dad and mom I know of."

"Blitz..." Moxxie whispered in awe with a wide smile.

"Also, it should consider itself a fucking miracle child because of how you were able to get Millie preggers in the first place," Blitzo joked with a smirk, but Moxxie only chuckled and shook his head. "But seriously, you'll be fine, Mox. Just..." He closed his eyes and sighed. "Just always protect them and never let go. Don't go through what I did. No matter what happens, always pick them first. Even over Loona and me. Got it?"

Moxxie hesitated, but he nodded. "I understand, sir."

A knock on the door alerted the two that they had a visitor, and Moxxie went to open the door. When he did, Stolas rushed inside and saw Blitzo looking up at him with both relief and joy. "Blitzy!"

After his talk with Metatron, Stolas had returned post-haste to come to terms with what had just happened. He had managed to get Metatron to agree, and most of the conditions were acceptable. Except for one.

"I.M.P. must be disbanded."

He should have seen that coming, and he tried to argue for this one very much so, but the Voice of God was firm in his statement. Unless Blitzo ended I.M.P and stopped killing humans in the living world, then there would be no help from Heaven to save him. Stolas couldn't make that decision, even if he personally would say yes to it. That was Blitzo's decision, and he knew that the imp would take it hard. Despite stating repeatedly he felt guilty for everything, I.M.P. had been Blitzo's original idea and something that made him stand out against the many imps of Hell. He wouldn't go far as to say that Blitzo was a folk hero, but he had managed to make his name known more so than most imps did in their lifetimes.

He told Reginald to call Loona, Octavia, and Millie and ask them to meet at the hospital so he could discuss what had happened. Stolas himself quickly summoned a portal to the hospital, hoping to find his love awakened, and sure enough, he was. The owl had nearly hugged the poor broken imp with his great strength if it wasn't for Moxxie stopping him from hurting Blitzo even more. Instead, he decided to just pepper him with kisses until Blitzo finally pushed him off.

"Seriously, Stolas, I'm happy for the affection, but give a guy some breathing room," Blitzo commented as he wiped his cheeks. "At least you used breath mints before coming here."

"How are you feeling, Blitzy?" Stolas asked, sitting on the bed next to his lover.

"I'd say like I got hit by a car, but from what Moxxie told me, it's more like I hit the car," Blitzo joked, but he saw that Stolas wasn't laughing and sighed. "Fine, I feel like shit."

"After what you did, I should feel like yelling at you, but I'll leave that to your daughter when she comes over," Stolas said, which made Blitzo gulp. "But I'm glad you're alive, Blitzy. Just do ever do this again."

"I'll try," Blitzo replied, which made Stolas glare at him more. "Look, I can't promise anything, alright?! I'm fucked up, Stolas. I don't know how I'm going to react to anything anymore."

Suddenly, the door slammed open, and everyone jumped before palling upon seeing who it was that entered the room. Loona, looking like she was about to tear the entire place apart with her rage, and the growl she unleashed was so chilling that even Stolas quickly got out of the way before she marched up to her father. What happened next was a loud series of screaming and cursing that forced Stolas to promptly put up a privacy spell so that they wouldn't get kicked out. Millie and Octavia had walked in as well, but they stood next to the others as Loona continued to lay the book down on her father. Blitzo, to his credit, kept silent and didn't even once talk about it as his daughter continued to rant and rave while clawing the floor or walls whenever she got too angry.

Finally, after one last howling roar, Loona took a few deep breaths and sat down on the bed. Nobody said anything as Loona covered her face with her hands and let out a soft sob. Blitzo slowly reached out and hugged his daughter, who soon rested on his chest. Stroking her hair, he slowly whispered into her ears so softly that it sounded like a whisper, but Stolas heard it well. "I'm sorry, my little pup. Daddy is so sorry."

This had made Loona only cry harder as the two soon hugged. For what seemed like half an hour, the two continued to embrace and sob together, with nobody else interrupting them. Whatever Stolas wanted to discuss, it would wait until this moment was over.

Millie had wanted to say many things to her boss, but she knew it was essential to let Blitzo and Loona hug it out first. While watching, she always held a hand over her belly and wondered if what she saw was what would be in store for her and Moxxie going forward for their own child. Millie knew raising a child wasn't going to all be fun and games, nor was it always going to be easy and cheerful. She had been among a family of six children, including herself. Her parents had a handful raising them. Like all families, there were good and bad times along with stressful and crazy times. Fights and tears mixed with hugs and caring moments too. Yet having a family of her own was something Millie wanted most of all in her life. Still, she couldn't help but feel just maybe...this was the wrong timing.

Millie saw Blitzo and Loona as part of her family and felt that her pregnancy was just getting in the way of trying to help her boss. Especially since he was clearly suffering from it as a reminder of his own loss of a child, one that they did know existed until now.

She couldn't help but wish slightly that this had happened before their boss was kidnapped or after he recovered. If he could even recover.

"Millie?" She snapped out of her thoughts to focus on Blitzo, who was looking at her with a small smile. "Guess it's kinda late to say this, but congratulations. I can't think of a better future mother than you."

"Blitz...I..." She clenched her fist and sniffed to hold back the tears. "I'm sorry that I—"

"Don't, Mills. Just don't," Blitzo said, holding his hand up and looking serious. "Look, it wasn't your fault. It's just...I never said that...I had a daughter I lost before...it's just so...hard to deal with..."

He shook his head and sighed. "I honestly can't explain it...not without feeling the need to just jump out a window—figure of speech!" Everyone soon relaxed. "Fuck, wrong choice of words. Look, I...I don't know how to say it or explain it! I spend years keeping it all down, and suddenly some bug from Cthulhu's asshole goes into my brain and makes me not only relieve that shit but also every fear I ever had! Being alone! Seeing you all dead! Wishing I was dead! Rejection from all of you! I just..."

Blitzo closed his eyes and leaned back against his bed. "I don't know what can help me. I don't think anything can help me..."

"...There is a way." Upon hearing this, everyone turned to Prince Stolas, looking at the ground with sorrow and yet regretful eyes. "I...I found a way."

"No way," Octavia said with awe as she looked at her father with wide eyes. "T-T-They agreed?! Metatron agreed?!"

"Wait, what?!" Millie, Moxxie, Blitzo, and Loona all shouted upon hearing this. Millie even checked to see if she had wax in her ears because she was sure she heard the name of one of the most powerful and feared angels in Heaven.

Stolas sighed as he turned to the others. "I'm sorry for keeping this a secret for so long, but I felt it was best. There was no way to cure Blitz of the effects of the Nightmare Parasite. Not here in Hell or on Earth. There was only one way to do so, and I practically had to ask everyone in my employment and Octavia for their permission to do so. I ...I just had a meeting with Metatron himself to ask for his help in curing you, Blitz. Because the only group of beings who have the means to heal you are the Spirit Healers. The greatest healers in Heaven."

"T-The Spirit Healers?!" Moxxie shouted in awe and terror. "You mean the ones that Lord Raphael himself teaches?! The ones who can practically end any disease or illness in existence, including demonic?! Those Spirit Healers?!"

Blitzo narrowed his eyes and looked almost ready to crawl off the bed to confront a nervous Stolas before Loona gently forced him down. "Stolas...what did you do?"

"Blitzy..."

"Don't fucking 'Blitzy' me, you bird dick idiot!" Blitzo shouted as he pointed to Stolas. "There is no fucking way that Heaven would even waste their time curing an unimportant imp-like me! Even if you are friends with one of them! So what the fuck did you promise them?!"

Stolas slowly sighed as he took off his royal robe and revealed the tattoos and runes on his body, much to the surprise of the others. "As of this moment, I have surrendered my absolute loyalty from Hell to Heaven. My powers. My resources. My armies. Everything I am or will be, along with my direct bloodline, will become double agents for God. Of course, this will only happen if Heaven agrees to give us a Spirit Healer to cure you, Blitz. It will be null and void if they do not or decide not to do so. I made sure that none of you were affected by this at all. You are free to stay loyal to Hell if you wish, and I will not blame you, but this was the only price I could give to save you, Blitzo."

"...Why?" Blitzo asked in disbelief as he looked ready to cry again. "Why would you do this for me? I'm...I'm not worth it. I—"

"You are," Stolas claimed as he walked over. He placed his talon on Blitzo's chin and lifted him up to gaze at him. "You are worth so much to me, Blitz. Everything about you is worth it because I am in love with you. You've changed my life for the better, and I have never once regretted meeting you or loving you since the day you first crashed my palace. And before you say anything, I asked every person who would be tied to this vow. My daughter, my legions, my servants, guards, and more. They all swore to stay by me and forsake their loyalty to Hell for Heaven so that you can have the means to recover from the trauma that you suffered from."

"Dad's right," Octavia answered as their eyes turned to her. She sighed and shook her head. "Honestly, if this was two or three years ago, I wouldn't have gone through with this. But seeing you make my dad so happy is more than enough for me. Not to mention Loona's my best friend, someone I see as an older sister, and you two deserve to have a happy life again. Especially since my...former parent played a role in all this."

"Octavia...you..." With tears in her eyes, Loona dived for her best friend and hugged her as the two girls smiled. "Damnit, you really know how to make a girl feel like she owes you everything..."

"You can pay for shakes later," Octavia joked.

"But are you really willing to do this for me?" Blitzo asked as he looked at the two owls. "Look, I...Ignoring the fact that I still think this is crazy, you two are talking about committing treason to not just Lucifer for our entire demonic race. If anyone finds out..."

"We know the risks, Blitz," Stolas interrupted as he shook his head. "All of us knew the risks, and it's worth it. Because we all want you to recover, and we all want you to be yourself again. If it means we have to side with the angels, so be it."

Blitzo looked away, taking a few moments to himself, and Millie couldn't blame him. She had been told that angels were the bad guys all her life because of what they did to demonkind. She also recalled all the terrible nights she and her family had to hide in the cellar, praying that the Exterminators wouldn't find them and slaughter them in their sleep. Millions of imps had died by their hands quickly in the Wrath Ring because there was little to no protection, and more than one family Millie knew growing up had been completely wiped out by them.

If she was honest, she hated angels. However, she hated the thought of losing Blitzo more. If the angels were willing to help, then she would put aside her fears and disgust for now, but that didn't mean she wouldn't forget the many lives they took. Still, a thought came to Millie as she asked, "There has to be more than this, right? A catch or two? What did they ask for in agreement for this?"

The wincing on Stolas's face meant she was right in her thoughts as everyone then turned to the owl demon. Blitzo shot his face right back up to Stolas, who initially hesitated but soon signed and looked downward. "There were a few conditions that were required if they agreed to do this. One, I have to support the Hazbin Hotel held by Princess Charlie."

"Um, okay, that's a bit strange," Moxxie said with a raised eyebrow. "I thought both Heaven and Hell were making new realms to combat the overpopulation crisis. Why do they want to support the Princess's project?"

"Well, she is the niece of the other main seven Archangels," Stolas pointed out. "What people forget is that there was a time when Lucifer was close with his brothers Micheal, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Zeraciel, and Remiel. And while they have obvious issues with their brother, they have no issues with their niece, who they seem to like and respect for what Hell was intended for: redeeming sinners."

"Well, that's not so bad," Blitzo said with a shrug. "I mean, I don't give two shits about the hotel, so what are the others?"

"The second was that Heaven couldn't force a Spirit Healer to agree to heal you," Stolas answered. "They would only give us one if one of the Spirit Healers agrees to do it. If none of them agree to cure you of their own free will, then the deal is off. I won't have to swear allegiance, but at the same time, we've lost our only chance."

"Great, so we got to put our faith in one angel not being a dick and agreeing to save Blitz," Loona snorted, rolling her eyes. "Wonderful odds."

"Metatron told me that Raphael was sure he would find one, and I trust him," Stolas said but shook his head. "However, the problem is the third catch, and this one I couldn't make the decision for because this is all on you, Blitz."

"Me?" Blitzo asked, pointing to himself. "What would I-"

"They know you've been killing humans on Earth," Stolas said, which made the entire room go sixty degrees colder. Stolas pinched his nose and growled. "You really are an idiot, Blitz. There are photos, videos, and other evidence of you and your team on Earth. You haven't been fucking subtle, and, from what I can tell from Metatron, they've known about me giving you the book for some time to do your job."

"Oh, crumbs," Moxxie whispered in horror as he began to turn white. Millie was right there with him and felt like she was about to be sick by revelation. Or maybe the baby was acting up. She didn't know. "Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckwe'rescrewewe'redeadwe'regonnadieorgetexterminatedbyangelsandexocistsandfuckfuckfuck! FUCK!"

"What do we do?!" Loona asked, looking around in terror. She was even whimpering and shaking with fear. "What do we do?! How long have they known?! Holy shit, we're going to be target number one next Extermination Day! We're fucked!"

"...What have I done..." Blitzo whispered in horror as he looked at his hands. "Oh, my gosh. What have I done..."

Millie felt like she was going to faint. They knew. Heaven fucking knew that they were killing humans on Earth. They were dead. No, worse than dead. Millie couldn't help but look outside the window and wondered if there was an Exorcist right outside waiting for them to come out and kill them with a well-placed sniper shot to the head. There was no way in any reality where the four of them could take on an entire Exterminator Death Square. Even with Stolas helping them, it might not be enough. Not to mention it would ask questions and lead to more problems.

No, they were a hundred and ten percent screwed.

"Wait a minute," Octavia said, rushing over to her father in worry. "If they knew all this time, why didn't they just kill you already? Or any of us for this?"

This got everyone's attention as Stolas sighed and shrugged. "Apparently, I'm too valuable to lose because of the goal of dealing with the overpopulation crisis. That and Metatron values our friendship a lot. It also doesn't help that you four are so weak on the scale of power that it's near impossible to detect you crossing into the human world."

"I'd normally say that I'm not that weak, but for once, I'm willing to let it slide," Loona whispered, shaking some sweat off her brow. "But wait, if they know about what they do, what is it that they want from us? Don't tell me it's to kill someone?"

"No," Stolas said, shaking his head. "Metatron told me that the four of you, and myself, would be looked over for what we did if...if you stop right here and now."

"...Wait, you don't mean..." Blitzo's eyes widened.

"Yes, I'm sorry, Blitzy," Stolas said, looking over towards his lover with sympathy. "But they want you to end I.M.P. effective immediately."

Everyone turned their gaze to Blitzo, who stared at Stolas with wide eyes. Millie didn't know what was going through her boss's mind, but in truth, she could tell he was tearing up inside. I.M.P was his own creation. A dream he had put his heart and soul into making with all the sweat and blood he could both give and take. It had been the first time that an imp-like him had managed to make his own successful or semi-successful company that had a unique idea to it. Plenty of demons and sinners had thanked them for the chance of ending the lives of those who ruined their lives when they were alive. Most of their targets were guilty of some significant sin or another that all but assured them a quick ticket to Hell, but there had been a few innocent ones as well. As a demon, Millie didn't give a damn about such a thing, but obviously, Heaven did.

They all knew that there was a risk to anyone finding out how they were killing people in the human world, but the top worst people were the angels. There was no way they wouldn't be hunted down at some point now that the angels knew. Their deaths were all but inevitable at this point. Millie and Moxxie looked at each other, and she knew what her husband was thinking. He had told her, long ago, that if there ever came a time where he had to pick their safety and work for I.M.P. for whatever reason, he would choose the former within a heartbeat. A few days ago, she would have tried to argue with him about such a choice, but now with life growing inside of her...

No, I can't put Blitzo before my child, Millie thought with a sob as she closed her eyes and clenched her fist. I can't.

"...You want me to give up my company?" Blitzo muttered, lowering his head. "Everything I've worked hard for these past few years? All my work and effort? You're telling me I have to give it all up?"

"Blitz, I'm sorry," Stolas whispered, holding his hand. "If it were up to me, I would have said yes, but I know you'd never forgive me for making such a decision. It's your company like you said. Only you can decide what to do with it, but is it really so much more important than your life?"

"You don't understand!" Blitzo shouted, growling as he slapped his hand away. "Besides Loona, that company is what kept me going all these years! It's given me so much! It's given to me Moxxie and Millie! It's given to me you! It's...It's given me a family!"

He rubbed his eyes to hide the tears and shook his head. "And now I have to give it all up?!"

"Dad, who gives a fuck about the company!" Loona shouted as she stood up and glared at him, much to his surprise. "Look, I've never admitted this before, but I liked working there too! Not just because I thought it was cool to go into the human world and kill a bunch of fucking shitheads, but because I felt like I could actually be who I was without needing to bend over backward to some asshole of a boss!"

"It doesn't help that said boss always took it easy on you," Moxxie whispered, which earned him a kick in the shin from the Hellhound.

"The point is, that yes, I get it," Loona sighed as she crossed her arms. "I liked working at I.M.P. too. I know I didn't make it look like it, but I enjoyed being there with you and the happy couple over there. Even if it was sometimes dorky and lame."

"B-B-But where will we go?! How are we going to earn money?!" Blitzo asked.

"Uh, haven't you been listening to my Dad confess his love to you for the past hundred times?" Octavia asked, facepalming. "You can live with us. You practically have a home there anyway. Loona's been living there for six months, and she practically roams around like she owns the place. Rodrick certainly seems to think so anyway. So why can't you live with us as Dad's lover?"

"B-But..."

"Blitzy," Stolas whispered as he kissed the imp on the cheek. "I would love you to live with me. I don't care whose opinion is on the matter. You can stay with me forever if need be."

Millie could see that her boss looked half ready to cry, but he was doing his best to hold it in before looking at her and her husband. "What about you two? You need this job. Now more than ever with a baby coming."

"Sir, we'll survive," Moxxie said with a small smile as he held Millie's hand. "Millie and I will figure things out. If need be, we can go back to her parents' place and work there. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and dealing with my in-laws if it means that not only you survive, but we're safe as well."

"Actually, I have a different solution." Nearly everyone, but Octavia and Stolas, yelped as Grimbeak appeared from the shadows with his arms folded and smirking. "Hi there."

"W-w-what the fuck, man?! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" Blitzo shouted as he clutched his chest. "I already died recently! I don't need to go back into the void again!"

"Why do you keep doing that, and when the fuck did you get here?!" Moxxie shouted, panting as Millie rubbed his back.

"Master Stolas had me here to watch over Blitz after he learned what happened just in case," Grimbeak answered with a shrug. "Anyway, there is another option. You can work for Prince Stolas as part of his security team."

"Us?!" Millie and Moxxie both asked before looking at each other.

"Yes," Grimbeak said with a nod. "You two proved yourself in the raid in saving your boss. I've never seen a better sniper than Moxxie here with taking out that car in the air with a single shot. And from what my shadow guards told me, Millie here is good enough with blades to go one on one with Tengu demons of all creatures. Combined with your natural experience as assassins and bodyguards, plus additional training on our side, you two could work for Master Stolas and live very comfortable lives."

"But...Goetia demons never hire imps for security," Moxxie pointed out in disbelief. "They only ever hire them as servants."

"Goetia demons don't fuck imps regularly, but I seem to have proven that theory wrong too, haven't I?" Stolas answered with a grin. "I trust Grimbeak with my life, and if he comes with your recommendation, then I will accept it."

"T-Thank you, you're Majesty!" Moxxie said with a deep bow.

"Yeah, thanks, Solas!" Millie cheerfully replied.

"See, Dad? We're still going to be together, even without I.M.P. The company might have brought us together, but we can still be a family even without it," Loona put her hand on his knee and looked him straight in the eye with a pleading face. "Look, I don't give a damn about what the angels want. What I care about is you. I want you to get better, and if that means making a deal with the old man in the sky, then so be it. But please don't put your pride before your life, Dad. For not just our sake, but for your own as well."

"...you really are okay with this?" Blitzo asked as each of them slowly nodded. Taking a deep breath, Blitzo let a small smile across his face before he closed his eyes. "Well, I was getting tired of that office anyway...plus the coffee machine was always crap..."

"Wait, you mean..."

"Yeah," Blitzo said with a sigh as he shook his head but then held out his hand. "However, I want to talk to him."

"Who?" Stolas asked.

"Metatron. You got the angel on speed dial, right? Hand your phone over and let me talk to him," Blitzo demanded, much to the shock of the others. Reluctantly, Stolas got his cell phone out and pressed a few buttons. Everyone waited with a halted breath as Stolas let the phone ring a bit before it finally clicked.

"You've reached the Meta with a Million Eyes. What can I do for you?" Metatron said on the other end. For some of them, this was the first time they had ever heard an angel speak, and just hearing his voice alone made them feel terrified because of how...otherworldly it sounded.

"Metatron? It's Stolas," the owl demon said as he looked at Blitzo, who continued to signal he wanted the phone. "Um, Blitz has agreed to your third request. However, he wants to speak to you."

"Um, okay?" Metatron said on the other end, clearly surprised by this as well. Stolas handed the phone to Blitzo, who took it and pressed it against his head. "Hello?"

"Yeah? Metatron? Voice of God and all that? Two words for you, buddy," Blitzo then took a deep breath. "FUCK AND YOU!"

"Oh, crumbs," Moxxie whimpered as he facepalmed.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, you little white-winged shitstain!" Blitzo shouted to the point that the others couldn't help but wonder if he was suddenly back to being normal already. "Let me lay out a few things straight for you, so make sure that halo of yours isn't blocking your hearing! First off, don't you ever ever fucking abuse Stolas or his daughter, or anyone working for him! Whatever you ask them to do going forward in your stupid war against Lucifer and his issue with his daddy? Well, it better not get them fucking killed, or I will raid those pearly gates of yours and firebomb your ass while pissing on the ashes. In fact, whatever you have Stolas doing under you is what I'm going to do as well! Do you think I have loyalties to Satan or Lucifer? Fuck them! Fuck all fucking authority when it comes down to it! I'll fucking shoot the King himself and fuck his wife afterward if you want, but you better make sure you keep them alive and well!"

Millie couldn't help but smile upon hearing this, and she saw Loona and even Moxxie doing so as well. Octavia looked at him in disbelief while Stolas looked like he was about fuck Blitzo right then and there.

"Second, whatever healer you send me better be fucking good because if I want second-rate doctors, I'll go to the Ring of Greed for that! Third, I'll end my fucking company but let me tell you something! Some of those assholes I killed fucking deserved it! Not my fault humans are idiots who can't learn from their mistakes!" Blitzo took a few deep breaths before calming down. "Look, I'll end I.M.P. But that's going to happen overnight. There are debts to pay, paperwork to fill out, and a client list of people who want satisfaction. We can drop the ones trying to kill innocent people if you want, but at least give us a few weeks or months to slowly end the company. That's all I ask. Hell, we can even give you the client list, and you can decide if the victims are good or not. Just...give me that at least."

Everyone waited with held breath as Metatron was silent. "...First off, I admit I wasn't expecting this. Wow. Been a while since someone yelled at me like that. Did you all think about those insults in your head or come up with them on the fly."

"Eh, more of the latter. I was kind of working off on the rage, you know?" Blitzo answered, plainly as if he was talking to a friend.

"Well, I'm impressed," Metatron chuckled. "I haven't heard such cursing at me since I beat my brother at that Stellaris Tournament we had a few years ago. Anyway, as for your request? I'll have to talk it over with a few others to even allow that."

"...what if I could sweeten the deal?" Blitzo said, closing his eyes. Millie almost did a double-take because, at that moment, she swore her boss looked a hundred years older for a brief moment. "I can give you a name. A name that Heaven has been looking for a long time, and I can give you how and where to find him?"

"Really? What name would this be?" Metatron asked with a hint of amusement.

Blitzo then narrowed his eyes and spoke a single word that held so much weight, pain, and hatred that even speaking it made the imp feel like he was in pain for saying it.

"Gadreel."

And for the second time that day Metatron, up in his room, was surprised. So surprised, he dropped his teacup and let it shatter on the floor.

"How do you know that name?" Metatron spoke with such an icy tone that Mille almost peed herself.

Blitzo then looked at everyone. "Out. All of you."

"Huh? But wh—"

"OUT NOW! AND DON'T FUCKING LISTEN IN!"

Needless to say, everyone did so and was soon outside the door.

Once was sure, Blitzo whispered softly and yet clear to the angel on the other end.

All this time, they had been looking for the last of the five, and at last, they found him. The last of the five. The only one to elude them after the event known as The Flood.

Looks like I'm going to be needing to talk to Micheal after this, Metatron thought as he couldn't even believe what he was hearing. I guess it is true what they say about the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

"May I ask how you know of him?" Metatron asked, curious as to how such an event happened.

"I don't know him personally, but I once worked for someone who did, and I was there when they did business together. I learned how he operated and where he did his work. Not sure if it's changed in the last one hundred years, but if he's as arrogant as he was when I met him during those years, then I bet he has the same location as I mentioned."

"Why give this name now? After all these years?" Metatron asked. They knew he had contacts in Hell, despite mostly doing his business in Heaven, and yet they couldn't ever find him ever since they learned he had survived the Flood.

"Personally, I've wanted to kill the bastard myself, but I'm not stupid. I'm not even close to the strength of a Fallen Angel. Especially one who is an expert in warfare as he is," Blitzo answered on the other line. "Let's just say he supplied the weapons to someone I hated and killed in the end. Although it cost me much and fucked a lot of people over when I did it. And if you are fucking curious about it, look up what happened in Pentagram City on April 16th, 1927. That's my work. My legacy. My shame. Other than that, do we have a deal?"

Metatron sighed. Some of the other higher-up ranking angels might be upset about him doing this. However, they would be easily won over by the fact that they got the proper location where one of their topmost wanted Fallen Angels was hiding. A Fallen Angel not loyal to Heaven or Hell or anyone but himself. "We have a deal. Nine months should be enough to properly end your company. You will provide me with a list of all your client's targets, and I will let you know which ones will be...acceptable to eliminate. However, the moment you target any innocent, the deal is off."

"Fine, but listen," Blitzo sighed. "I meant what I said about taking care of Stolas. If anything happens to him..."

Well, sounds like he does care about him, Metatron thought with a chuckle. "Don't worry. Stolas is a friend of mine. I look after my friends. Although, please refrain from insulting me again. I have eyes everywhere just so you know. And I have been watching you in Hell a few times."

"Yeah, right! I'm willing to bet that's all a ru-"

"Does Stolas or your fellow employees know that you secretly like to dress up as the Seventh Doctor and role play that you're fighting the Cybermen with your trusty companion 'ACE' who is really your Applejack plushie?"

"...Uh, I think we're getting static! Psshshshs! Can't hear you! Sshssh! Breaking up!"

Metatron chuckled as the call then ended. "Ah, I love doing that to people."

Curious, he decided to learn what did happen on that specific date in Pentagram City all those years ago. Turns out it was a significant event. One that was still affecting the city even today. Upon learning what it was, Metatron's six eye wings all went wide before he whistled. This was who Gadreel was working for? Actually, this makes a lot of sense. I wonder why we never considered this.

Reading in detail what was known about that day made Metatron rub his chin. If what he was reading was accurate, and if Blitzo was telling the truth, then that single imp was responsible for why Pentagram City had become a nightmare of a place to live in for the past one hundred years.

"I can see why the big guy has an interest in Blitz," Metatron said to himself as he thought about his boss. He had told him, long before Stolas even called him, of what was going to happen and what he should do. And, as always, he was right about the events that played out. "Of course, I still don't know why he wants to focus so much on this one imp and his crew."

Then again, trying to understand God was next to impossible, even for Metatron himself. So all there was to do was do what he had done since his creation.

Put his faith in whatever plan the Lord had.
