The plan is going off without a hitch, the Alliance personal are acting like they should, not exactly a riot, nor is it calm. The N7's are trying to keep the peace. from where she is standing with Sara she can see Hackett along with a Turian facing him, but she knows this Turian very well. She had hoped she would not run into him just yet. The video has been running for awhile Shepard is waiting for the all clear from Phoenix.

Shepard and Sara are moving among the crowed keeping down. Sara is a little worried as someone dear to her is in the almost direct danger with this crowed.

"You, said he would not be placed in danger." Stated Sara as the N7 try an keep the crowed from storming the building most of the crowed is made of Civilian workers while the Military personal is trying to decide whither they join the civilian crowed or rejoin the military ranks.

"I said indirectly his not in danger yet." Answered Shepard softly as she tries not to draw attention. Luckily her best friend has cybernetics to help with this.

"Who's the Turian Jane?" Asked Sara to Shepard as Shepard just looked at Sara. Did not take long for Sara to get the jest who the Turian is.

"Garrus Vakarian." Shepard Stated just for Sara to get the idea and drop the subject, as Shepard gets a note from the Director. With that note Shepard brings out her pad and hits a second button on the pad.

Hackett is talking to the Turian known as Garrus Vakarian trying to figure out Shepard's motive as to why she just reviled herself to the public. Hackett is getting reports that the Galactic Community has just received the copies of the video and this is causing protest in front of Governmental buildings both the nation states and Terran Alliance Buildings.

"Something I don't get whats the Heart of the Alliance? Whats the Soul of Humanity?" Asked Garrus as Hackett is talking to a guard.

"The Soul is Earth. I don't know whats the Heart of the Alliance is." Answered Hackett as his techs are trying to end the video from keep playing.

"Earth. The home she fought for. 'I will destroy the heart of the Alliance'...Alliance HQ is the 'Heart' its were it all started the final days of the war. Nothing comes or goes without a trip here and many of the Alliance Military leaders are here. 'The Heart of the Alliance.' " Gauss explained as he figured this out on the fly.

Hackett just looked at the Turian as he motioned an N7 commander to him.

"Get the people to safety, I don't care what you do to get them away from here." ordered Hackett as he motioned an Engineer to him. "Were is the best place to bring down this building?" asked Hackett as the engineer looked around the building for tell tell signs of the buildings stress points, as the engineer moved outside the building as the N7 guards started to moved the crowed back. The engineer looked around the building with out plans the engineer must relay on vision.

"Fourth floor the stress is all positioned there take that out and the building comes down." answered the engineer as Hackett is convinced.

"How much explosives would be required to bring it down?"

"If placed in the right location not much." answered the engineer, "But what I can tell with out plans somewhere in the middle could bring this building down with not to much effort."

"The Data Core..." was all Hackett could say.

"Yes sir, I do believe so sir."

"Get up there and try and disarm..." Hackett ordered as an explosion ripped through the area from the fourth floor. With this the N7's that are with Hackett now escort him out of the building. The N7's and Hackett along with Garrus move along the path from the crowed. The other N7's are trying to control crowd as the building comes down.

Shepard's bomb went off without a hitch a nice ruse to throw off the Alliance to get access to one person. Now he must confront an old flame to get to him. Not something she is looking forward to, it may not even be that horrible.

As Shepard moved along the parallel path to the one Hackett is taking. As they moved they could see the Alliance moving trying to get the people to safety as she followed Hackett who is guarded by two N7 and one Turian. As Shepard and Sara ran after Hackett both had their advanced Phoenix pistols aimed at the N7 troopers guarding Hackett and fired. Sara missed the trooper to the left as Shepard struck the one on the right and fell as the Trooper on the left let go of Hackett and let the Turian guard Hackett. The N7 unholsters his pistol and starts to shoot back at Shepard and Sara. Luckily the sounds of fire and Emergency personal muted the sounds of the Alliance pistol.

Shepard kept firing her pistol as did Sara but the N7 found cover behind a concert block.

"Keep him busy while I go after the Target." ordered Shepard as the slide of the pistol drew back and ejected a thermal clip.

"Move! this won't take long." Screamed Sara as she shoot again this time it was Sara's turn to eject a thermal clip.

Shepard sprinted forward as the trooper rose but ducked down quickly as Sara started to fire again. As Shepard ran down the same way he saw Hackett and Garrus went right now she is thinking it might not be so bad if Hackett got away, if it kept her from confronting Garrus. As Shepard moved along the the path She is noticing a car garage is appearing. As Shepard moved to the entrance of the Garage. The first thing she notices is that its dark, and with that she moves to a pouch on her belt and brought out a flashlight.

"Sara where are you?" Asked Shepard as she turned on the flashlight.

"I'm five out Shep." answered Sara as she ran to Shepard position.

"Your going to love it. A nice dark closed area." Shepard Stated as she positioned her flashlight in her hand and brought her hand with the pistol to a tactical position with the flashlight beneath her pistol with the wrist crossed.

"Is your flashlight on Shep?" asked Sara as made her way to Shep.

"Yes." Answered Shepard as she made her way a little deeper.

"Turn it off...now." Sara ordered Shepard as she followed her advice. Shepard never doubted the advice of this Infiltrator. With this she placed her flashlight back in her belt and removed a combat knife from the inside of her jacket and moved it to the same position she had the flashlight not to long ago.

As Shepard moved along the middle of the road the darker it got. Aftera good while Shepard moved to change the view of her sunglasses from normal light to night vision. When she went back to her tactical position Sara appeared out of one of the darkest shadow she could fine.

"You know I hate it when you do that." Shepard teased as Sara moved close to Shepard.

"I know Jane. We are being drawn farther down this place." Stated Sara as she once again disappeared into the shadows as Shepard moves further down the garage. As Shepard moves along the parked cars

Shepard sees something out of the corner of her eye, and she moves over to a group of sky car, out of no ware a Turian pops out from behind the sky cars as she was only 5 feet away. As Garrus slammed into Shepard and knocked her to the ground, Sara came out of the shadows and slammed her knee into his jaw, as Garrus moved to get to his feet Sara loged a blade into his shoulder.

"Sara! What the hell! I told you not to hurt him." Screamed Shepard as she looked for her glasses.

"Shepard his getting away!" Screamed Sara as Hackett started to run for the elevator. Shepard sprinted after him as Hackett ran. Shepard ran up to a car and slide across it to gain some distance as she continue to run she is closing the gap within moments Shepard's was so close all she had was reach out. Instead she leaps a little and grabs Hackett and drags him to the ground. As they rolled to a stop Shepard brings out her pistol and aims it at Hackett.

"Dame it Shepard."

"Just shut it." Ordered Shepard as Sara was escorting Garrus to them.

"Been awhile Garrus," stated Shepard as Garrus is placed on his knees. Garrus just remained silent.

"Come on Garrus. Of all the people in this missed up Galaxy. I thought you would understand." Shepard stated a little hurt to find the man she loves showing restraint.

Garrus just looked at Shepard not believing what he is seeing. "I understand why you are doing this, but how is what I don't like." Garrus answered as this took Shepard by surprise.

" I know Garrus but it's the only way I could think off. They have to pay Garrus. Another thing watch out for your sister. She is planing something big what I don't know. But I don't want you hurt." Stated Shepard as she crest his scared side of his face. After a moment of just looking at Garrus, then turned to Hackett, and walked to him as Sara made sure her father did not escape. As Shepard moved to him Sara moved to look at Garrus.

"Now you!" Stated Shepard with venom clearly heard in her voice.

"If you want to kill me or capture me it won't happen." Stated Hackett.

"Kill? No, I made a promise not to and I don't want to capture you. I want you give a massage to that asshole you call a Prime Minster. That I will catch him and I will kill him. When I done with him he should live long enough to see his heart stop beating." Stated Shepard as this made their hearts jump. When she was done she brought up her hand to her ear.

"This is Shepard send pick up now," ordered Shepard as she Broke contact with Hackett and started to walk out of the building. "It was nice to see you again Garrus. Despite what is happening." Shepard said as she walked out.

"For what it it's worth I'm sorry for this, Shepard." Stated Hackett as Shepard kept walking.
