On board Phoenix Shuttle above Rannoch
As the Shuttle moved along the reddish blueish sky, She remembered what happened on this planet how the Quarians forced the Geth to side with the Reapers, how she lost one of her closest friends Legion, the only Geth she truly liked. But right now she is about to meet with with the leaders of the Admiralty and Conclave and the Geth Consensus. An old Alliance for a new age. At the end of the Reaper war with help of the mysterious Laviaten they resurrected the mass relays. The other races were able to return to their worlds. The Quarians, very grateful for Shepard's involvement with laviaten were able to return back to Rannoch.
Shepard's shuttle lands at a newly constructed landing pad. As they land the doors begin to open to reveal an old friend, Admiral Tali'Zorah. As the shuttle landed Shepard stepped out of the craft. Tali walked over to her old friend.
"Shepard, good to see you." Stated Tali as she hugged Shepard as she returned the gesture.
"You as well Tali, I wish it was under better circumstance." stated Shepard as Tali just looked at Shepard.
"Yes me as well. You will find safe haven here Shepard." Stated Tali as she gestured to a sky car which had her team of Karin and Sara, Jack remained on the Enterprise updating security protocols, and Shepard moved to the sky car.
As they entered the car with Tali. Shepard sat in the front sit with her old friend who motioned the sky car to the east as she quickly saw the main government building.
"So how have you been Tali?" Asked Shepard as Tali simply moved her helmeted head to look at her old friend.
"Personally, I have been better Shepard. Your civil war has the galaxy fighting each other...but I'm glad you are ok." Answered Tali as Shepard looked at the rear view mirror and saw Karin smiling.
"What do I need to know about the leadership, were are things in retrospect." Asked Shepard as Tali landed the sky car and open the doors and motioned for Shepard to follow.
"Tali? You haven't answered me."
Tali just stopped and shighed "You basically have the board on your side including Garrel and myself. But it split evenly with the conclave. The Geth are yours for helping them back in the war. Truly all you need to do is find a way to convince the conclave why we should back you and your ally Shepard, this is not all if you can convince us you will get the Turian Rebels led by your...mates sister to aid you." Answered Tali.
"Turian Rebels...really?" Shepard questioned, but she knew of the Rebels already but she decided to keep that to herself.
"Yes, convince the conclave and you have an alliance to crush the systems alliance."
"What would convince them Tali? What do I need?" Asked Shepard's they were standing outside the government building with other bystanders looking at Tali and Shepard and her team.
"It's simple...Phoenix has research facilities and lots of funds help with our immune systems and I guarantee that we will intervene Shepard. The Geth are helping with our immune systems. But even they have limitations. We just need a push. " Answered Tali as Shepard smiled not surprised by this request.
"I might be able to help with that and a step further, the Alliance a few years before I joined the them, at one point in time helped your people in an out reach program to help bluster your immune systems and humanity's a mutual benefit. My father was the lead for the Alliance while your peoples sent a few Biotechs, a a couple as their leads." Stated Shepard as Tali eyes went wide.
"Which Admiral authorized this? Please tell me? Do you know who, Shepard?" Asked Tali already knowing but want to be sure.
"Do you even need to ask Tali. Your Father if I remember right. But it was abandoned after the Turian Blackwatch killed the qurians bio-teaches and the couple." Answered Shepard Tali now more interstered.
"Do you know if they were successful, Shepard?" Asked Tali basically jumping out of her suit.
"Yes they did to a degree. The techs had a daughter who's immune systems was much stronger, she is able to live outside a suit, the only draw back is that she must wear a respirator mask, I'm guessing that's a price worth paying to be able to touch the walls of this building with your bare hands." Shepard stated as she touch the walls of the building with her armored hand Tali just stood their dumbfounded. Shepard could tell she was crying knowing that her fathers dream could be relized. Realizing she is close Shepard removed her gloved hand to drive her point home as she touched the walls of the building with her ungloved hand.
Tali could said nothing after a few moments Tali mustered something. "What happened to her Shepard?"
"After the Quarians adults were killed their daughter found herself in the hands of Cerberus." Shepard stated as this brought surprise to Tali.
"You must be joking Shepard...Cerberus? Why?" Asked Tali a little confused.
"I ask her that and even she could not come up with an answer. The Illusive Man raised her as a daughter, even taking some ideals to heart like protecting Earth no matter the cost." Answered Shepard as Tali looked at Shepard as she now has more questions then before.
"What do you mean you asked her do you know who she is, who she works for." Asked Tali.
"I do know her. She is the Phoenix director. My boss." Stated Shepard as Tali became a little stiff as she heard what Shepard said.
