I have wondered something. Does Hinata really love Naruto or is she just a creepy stalker making herself believe she loves him. For he saved her once from a couple of bullies.
Chapter 17
Ibiki's glare never left Jiraiya as he moved towards the chair before the Hokage's desk. "If I had no need for you Jiraiya. I would have never requested for Hokage-sama to have you called back to the village." Said Ibiki as a low growl escapes his lips.
Jiraiya's black eyes meet with Ibiki's own black eyes. "Don't give me that shit boy. I did what I could for the boy from the shadows. If I had taken the boy. Too many people would have questioned why I had a blonde hair boy with me and might have put two and two together. So I sent money to pay for his apartment and make sure he has everything he needs covered." He growls out himself as he feels defeated from what he has all learnt about his Godson.
Ibiki narrows his eyes as he doesn't want to even hear what the fuck this old fool had to say. For in many ways Ibiki had lost a lot of the respect he had for the white hair Sanin and that is saying a lot for that man. As he was a young Jonin when he went on the raid to take down Orochimaru before he ran away like the coward the bastard is.
He leans his head back looking up at the ceiling letting out another heavy sigh before lifting it up and looking back at the man that is harboring hatred for him at this very moment. "I know. I am a fucking bastard. I lied to myself. Told myself that Naruto was fine. That he didn't need me. That the village would honor my late student's words and see the boy as a hero that he truly is. I was a fucking fool. A fool that put too much faith in this fucking shit hole of a village." Said Jiraiya as he closed his eyes looking towards the window that faces the Hokage Monument. "I have the toad and wolf scrolls for Naruto to sign. As his mother was the holder of the Dire Wolf Clan." He added as he never turned to look back at Ibiki or the Hokage. As he can feel the old man glaring at him for the words he had used to describe the village that many fight to protect and lose their lives for.
"Well Jiraiya-chan do you believe Naruto is ready to take is parent's summons?" Questions Sarutobi as he had been second guessing himself on some things that he has been putting Naruto through as of late.
Jiraiya's head snaps towards the Hokage with his black eyes narrowing with a slight toxic green glow to them. "What the fuck is that to mean? Why the fuck are you asking me a question like that?" He demands as he is ready to raise to his feet to give the old man before him a better piece of his mind. Even if he has to use his fist to get his point across.
Ibiki looks down at his village leader. "Naruto is ready. Naruto has already suppressed himself when it comes to sealing and is about maybe one or two steps with suppressing Jiraiya here. If he has his mothers summons. They would be able to aid the boy better than what we are able to. For we are not always able to get Jiraiya to the village to give the boy a test and we are only able to do some much." He growls out.
At this very moment Sarutobi felt his age and felt the shadow of Death looming over his very person. The two men in his office are the messengers of Death. If he doesn't straighten his ass up here and now. Death will be at his doorstep sooner than later. Death doesn't care who he takes. He could take his last son or his only grandchild. Something he couldn't bear losing. Even if he sees Naruto as a grandson. Death wouldn't take the little ball of sunshine. For the boy has too much to live for.
Holding his hands up in surrender the aged Hokage lets out a long and weighed down sign. "I shall not question anyone anymore. Do as you wish when it comes to Naruto. For you Ibiki knows what is best for the boy. As I am an old man whose hands are tied." He said with another sigh.
Ibiki smirks. "Good. I need the rest of the Uzumaki and Namikaze scrolls you have. For Naruto will not be held back. The boy does have a bloodline. With the Uzumaki scrolls we will be able to see what that bloodline might be. For the other day Flamingo believed he spotted a chain trying to form off of Naruto's back." He said with a smirk on his face. He knew right then and there he had won. The old man's eyes widened with shock and horror as he pushed back his chair and slowly stood to his feet. Moving towards the wall with the photos of all the Hokage's on it. He stands before the 4th's photo and opens it. He uses his chakra to unlock the safe and pulls out several scrolls and turns to the two men. Ibiki moves swiftly towards the old man and takes the scrolls from him.
"That will be all Sir. I shall be returning back to T&I. For I have a lot to do. As I am adding it to the other Uzumaki scrolls we have." Said Ibiki with a smirk on his face.
Jiraiya stands up. "I shall talk to you in a while, Sensei. I need to deliver these scrolls to the boy." He said as he followed Ibiki out of the Hokage's office.
Leaving the 3rd Hokage wided eye and blinking in shock at what just happened.
I wanted this chapter to focus a little on how protective Ibiki is of Naruto. We have Dadbiki. lol
