Each trainer will use one Pokémon, and the match is over when one trainer's Pokémon is unable to battle. The winner gets two points, the loser none, and a draw is one each. Both trainers nodded

"Begin!" The ref said.

"Gyarados, I choose you!" shouted Trent. A piscine, draconic Pokémon appeared

"Druddigon, Go!" Elder called. A Cave Pokémon appeared

"Gyarados, make waves with Dragon Tail!" Trent started

"Druddigon, meet it head-on with Dragon Claw!" Elder countered

Gyarados's tail becomes covered in a green, scale-patterned aura and it whips it at Druddigon, whose claws glow with draconic energy as it intercepts Gyarados's Dragon Tail with a fierce Dragon Claw attack.

"Gyarados, Use Ice Fang", Trent commands

"Druddigon, counter with a fierce Outrage!" Elder said

Gyarados's fangs become covered in light blue, icy energy, and it bite down on the Druddigon, who roars in pain and agony and enters a state of frenzy, launching a barrage of wild and relentless attacks.

"Gyarados hit it back with Hydro Pump!", Trent shouts

Gyarados blasts a powerful jet of water out of its mouth at Druddigon and pushes it back in front of its trainer

"Druddigon, retaliate with a powerful Crunch!" Elder commands

Druddigon swiftly avoids Gyarados's attack and counters with a fierce Crunch, clamping its powerful jaws onto Gyarados's scales.

"Gyarados, knock it with an iron tail," said Trent

The end of Gyarados's body glows white and it slams it into the Druddigon, knocking it to the ground

"Druddigon, breakthrough with a brutal Shadow Claw!", Elder said

"Gyarados, unleash your power with a Hydro pump!"

Druddigon's claws become enveloped in dark energy as it slashes Gyarados with its Shadow Claw. Gyarados gathers energy and releases blasts a powerful jet of water out of its mouth towards Druddigon.

"Druddigon, use your agility to dodge, then counter with a Thunder Fang!" Elder commands

"Gyarados, let's wrap this up with a devastating Dragon Tail," Trent said

Druddigon evades the Hydro Pump with impressive speed and retaliates with a Thunder Fang charged with electric energy. Druddigon bites down Gyarados with its electric teeth, making Gyarados cry in pain. Somehow, Gyarados's tail becomes covered in a green, scale-patterned aura and it hits Druddigon, slamming it to the ground

"Druddigon, brace for impact and counter with a brutal Iron Tail!" Elder said

Druddigon's tail becomes encased in steel-like energy as it slams it into the Gyarados, knocking it a few feet back

"Gyarados, use Blizzard", Trent commands

"Druddigon, use Flamethrower", the Elder counters

Gyarados opened its mouth and released a powerful blizzard from its mouth at the Druddigon, who met it with a burning stream of flames from its mouth. After a struggle for power, both attacks collided

"Gyarados, finish this with a Hyper Beam!", Trent shouts

"Druddigon, give it everything you've got with a Giga Impact!", Elder said

Gyarados gathers an enormous amount of energy and fires a blinding Hyper Beam towards Druddigon who charges forward with incredible speed, colliding head-on with Gyarados's Hyper Beam using a powerful Giga Impact. After a few seconds, there is a strong explosion, causing the whole battlefield covered in smoke and dust. When the smoke cleared, Gyarados was standing on the field and Druddigon was lying on the ground, unconscious

"Druddigon is unable to battle! The winner is Trent and his Gyarados! Trent will be awarded two points for his victory" the Referee said

The crowd cheers and applause after watching an incredible battle

"Fantastic battle, Elder! Your Druddigon put up an incredible fight." Trent said as he shakes Elder's hand

"You too, Trent! Your Gyarados is a true powerhouse." Said Elder

Trent watches the big screen showing his group and adding another two valuable points to his name marking him to the top of the group. He smiles and waits for his next challenge
