06:09:20, while resting for only a few minutes because the National Mall might not stay populated for long, the survivors notice the weather getting windier and snowier. Then they look outside and see the highway covered in thick snow which will cut down on mobility.
Louis: Snow is really coming down.
Snowden: We must be in the middle of a snowstorm.
Zoey: Why does it have to snow right now?
Snowden: Well, it is December.
Louis: Wait, it's December already?
Snowden: Yep, December 4 to be specific. *shakes left wrist* Digital watch.
Louis: Man, I couldn't tell. My watch broke when I got attacked by a zombie for the first time.
Snowden: Good thing I got you guys some extra clothes.
Francis: You sure you're gonna be alright, Snowden?
Snowden: I'm sure, Francis.
Francis: Hope you know what you're doing, man. Shall we?
Snowden: Of course.
[safe house door opens]
Snowden: Great, another bridge filled with cars. Just like in Miami, team. Watch out for Chargers and Tanks.
To conserve ammo for anything heavy, Snowden uses his Collapsible Baton as he squeezes through cars and clears a path for the others. At the back, Zoey is trying to get an answer from Francis about "The Snowden Problem".
[Collapsible Baton hit]
Zoey: Hey, Francis, you thought about The Snowden Problem yet?
Francis: The what problem?
Louis: Francis!
[Charger Voice]
Snowden: Charger close by.
Francis: Oh, right. I dunno. I don't think we should do this.
Zoey: So you want to die in a zombie war, seriously?!
[Charger Voice]
Snowden: Guys, be ready to move.
Zoey: Well I don't. You'll thank me for this, Francis. Trust me. *aims Forest Fire Hunting Rifle*
Snowden: Danger close! Get out of the way!
[Charger Voice]
Before Zoey could seriously hurt Snowden, a Charger grabs him and rams through the entire team. Causing the Army Ranger to lose his Melee Weapon and the Film School Student her Main Weapon, and launching everyone else up in the air and onto some cars.
Snowden: Charger's pounding me—
[thud]
Snowden: Argh! Shoot him! Shoot this motherf—
[Pump Shotgun fire]
[Charger Death]
Snowden: Thanks, Francis, again.
Zoey: Francis, why?!
Francis: You gonna be okay?
Snowden: Yeah, I ain't givin' up on you guys easily.
Francis: Yo Captain, you really should—
[Tank Yells]
Snowden: Same shit, different day! Tank inbound!
[Tank Theme plays]
Just like before, things go from bad to worse as a Tank makes his destructive entrance on the bridge.
Snowden: Light him up, let's go!
[gunfire]
Francis and Louis: Reloading!
[Tank Punches]
Snowden: Car!
[car crashes]
[Tank Punches]
Zoey: Argh!
[SG 553 fire]
Snowden: Try switching to your other weapons! It's faster than reloading!
[M1911 Pistol fire]
[Guitar hit]
[Baseball Bat hit]
[Katana hit]
With his teammates' Main Weapon ammo concerningly low, Snowden gets the attention of the Tank with sustained automatic fire to his face in order to allow Francis, Zoey and Louis to kill him with their Secondary and Melee Weapons. Despite the Film School Student, the Biker and the IT Analyst eventually getting punched dangerously close to the bridge's edge and losing their Katana, Guitar and Baseball Bat, the Army Ranger finishes the job before anyone got killed.
After that close shave, it becomes a straight shot across the bridge and to the next safe house. Which is on top of a gated scaffolding next to the west side of the Jefferson Memorial.
Francis: Finally, across this God damn bridge!
Snowden: Looks like the Jefferson Memorial's rooftop has been converted into a safe house, or safe zone. Locked down by that gated scaffolding. Everyone up the stairs.
Louis: Real interesting.
[safe house door closes]
Snowden: Lucky us. Let's try to be more careful next time, okay?
We're safe... for now.
