06:22:04, while the others rest up for a short amount of time, Snowden notices a radio on a table in the safe house/safe zone and tries to reach someone with it. Because Zoey, Francis and Louis are nearby and he does not want them to get worried, he tries his hardest not to react loudly to his PTSD upon hearing the static.

Snowden: Any friendly station on this net, this is Oscar-3-Sierra. Do... you... copy... over?

[static]

Ray: (flashback) *sighs* Seriously, Captain America? I mean, I get your unwavering patriotism and everything. But don't you think Marc is getting a little bit ridiculous. First we bring him some Infected CEDA Agents. Then we get him our infected fallen comrades, which was not easy. And now we're supposed to capture Special Infected ALIVE?

Snowden: Any... friendly station on this net, *breath trembling* this is Oscar... 3... Sierra. How... copy, over?

[static]

Chase: (flashback) My kit! That Jockey stole 'em! I'm going after him!

Snowden: Any... *sniffles* friendly station... on this...

[static]

Ray: (flashback) Get, get, GET HIM O— *screaming in pain*

[static]

Ed: (flashback) I ain't gonna forget you guys as well. OORAH! You're not gonna get Captain America, boys! I'm right here! SEMPER FIDELIS! *yells in pain*

[Glock Pistol fire]

[gunfire stops]

[Tank Yells]

Snowden: (flashback) Gotta keep moving.

[static]

Snowden: (quietly) I should have stayed. *cries* Ah, for crying out loud Captain America. *sniffs* God kept you alive and may have given you a second chance. *clears throat* Don't waste it. Don't ruin it. *exhales*

As the Army Ranger gets nothing from comms, the IT Analyst helps himself to his Pain Pills and the Film School Student spots a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crash in the middle of the National Mall.

Louis: Ah! Gotta looove Pain Pills.

Zoey: Holy shit! Are you guys seeing this?!

[distant crash]

Louis: Is the military shooting their own helicopters down now?!

Snowden: I don't think that's the military. Then again, we can't see everything that's going on down there, yet.

Snowden checks his SG 553 and sees that he is dry on munitions. So he switches to his Magnum Pistol and grabs a Fireaxe sitting at the bottom of the table.

Snowden: Always wanted to use a Fireaxe as a weapon. Time to continue, team. Follow me.

[safe house door opens]

Once the survivors get down from the Jefferson Memorial safe house/safe zone, they are immediately slowed down by the thick snow on the roads and walkways and blinded by random blizzards. So they hop and walk on top of car after car to avoid becoming easy targets, and stick together to keep anyone from getting lost.

Snowden: Try to hop and walk from car to car to avoid getting slowed down.

[Fireaxe hit]

[wind picks up]

Snowden: We got a blizzard!

Francis: Don't get separated now!

Louis: Look out!

[Submachine Gun fire]

Snowden: Argh! Do you have a Pain Pills bottle up your ass?! Why are you shooting me?!

Three minutes of moving and shooting later, they see that the bridge leading straight to the National Mall has been destroyed. Luckily, the bridge leading to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is still intact.

[wind settles]

Snowden: Dammit! That bridge was going to take us straight to the National Mall. Must've been bombed.

Zoey: We are SO screwed!

Francis: Hey, can that bridge take us there?

Snowden: It'll take us to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, but it will also take us to the National Mall. It's just a longer path. Good find.

Louis: Alright, we take a detour then.

Zoey: (quietly) *groans* Don't you know when it's time to throw in the towel?

However, they have to cross quickly but carefully too because there are Sticky Bombs everywhere set to detonate in five minutes. And one bullet on any of them will kill everyone and destroy the bridge.

Snowden: Christ Almighty! There's C4— Sticky Bombs everywhere on this bridge!

Zoey: Can you defuse them?

Snowden: Not enough time or hands. They'll explode in five minutes. Move! Take point with Melee Weapons on this. If you have to shoot, be ABSOLUTELY sure about your target and what's BEHIND it.

After carefully shifting and killing, with Snowden doing most of the latter, the group successfully makes it to the other side with two minutes to spare. Once they make it to the back area of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, five minutes passes and the Sticky Bombs blow up, demolish the bridge and start a Panic Event.

Snowden: Nothing like another close call to start the day. Great work, people.

Francis: Thanks for helping us through that mess, Snow'.

Snowden: No problemo at all.

Zoey: Of course some sons of bitches blocked both sides of the damn road!

Snowden: We're gonna have to cut through the Air and Space Museum. Through its back door.

[explosion]

[splash]

[Left 4 Dead 1 horde screeching]

Snowden: Of course they'll hear that! Go defensive!

[gunfire]

[Capital Punishment Horde Theme plays]

In the chaos, the Commons and Specials are backed up by a new Uncommon Infected known as the Infected Secret Service Agent. Despite being zombies now, they somehow still remember their specialized training.

They punch and kick faster than any other Common and Uncommon Infected, sense human presence and danger quicker, climb up to get the high ground when available, and have heavy aerial and winded up attacks that can stumble survivors for a few precious seconds. And they have plate carriers on which make them impervious to attacks on the chest, stomach and back.

Shove attacks, headshots and limb shots are key to countering and stopping them. But fighting them along with their Common and Special friends gets even more difficult as another blizzard comes in.

[wind picks up]

Francis: Another snowstorm's coming!

Snowden: Stay close!

[Infected Secret Service Agent Punches]

Louis: Ah! What the hell?! Who's this?!

[Submachine Gun fire]

[bullets ricochet]

Louis: Oh, shit!

[Magnum Pistol fire]

Snowden: Infected Secret Service Agent! Knock them back or get away while they charge up their heavy attacks and aim for the head or limbs!

[Jockey Voice]

Zoey: Got it, Snow'!

Snowden: Careful, they're faster than the Commons and possibly us!

After getting that information, Zoey gets jumped by a Jockey who also steals her First Aid Kit and Adrenaline Shot. And just as she is about to kill him, another Infected Secret Service Agent stumbles her with a jumping spin side kick.

Zoey: Shit! I got a Jockey on me! Get it off!

[Jockey Voice]

Zoey: What?! You freaking thief!

[Infected Secret Service Agent Kicks]

Zoey: Argh! Crap, I'm down! *terrified yell* Help, help, I don't want to die!

[Magnum Pistol fire]

Snowden: *shoves* Huh! *shoves* Huh!

[Fireaxe hit]

Snowden: Heeyah!

[Fireaxe hit]

Snowden: You're not dying today but I need you to get back up, now!

[wind settles]

Zoey: Alright, alright, thanks for that.

Snowden: Just doing my job. Everyone get inside!

Thankfully, Zoey gets to live and fight another day as the horde thins out and Snowden saves her in time. Inside the Phase Two area of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the Army Ranger heals the Film School Student with his First Aid Kit.

Snowden: You look pretty hurt. Let me fix that.

Zoey: Ah! Thank you, Captain. I... appreciate it.

Snowden: Don't worry about it.

Then he leads the way through the restoration hangars with minimal resistance and finds that he and the others have to take the second floor because all ways to the air area of the museum on their end have been barricaded. In the space area, they encounter another Carving Witch busy with a pile of dead tourists and museum staff.

[Witch Yells]

Snowden: (quietly) You again.

Francis: (quietly) I hate Carving Witches.

Snowden: (quietly) Yeah. This makes me sad and pissed off.

Zoey: (quietly) We should go around.

While the rest are trying to go around, Zoey intentionally gets too close in order to get Snowden to kill himself again. But Francis shoots and tries to headshot the Carving Witch instead.

[Witch Growls]

Snowden: (quietly) Zoey, what the hell are you doing?

[Pump Shotgun fire]

[Witch Yells]

Francis: No, no!

Snowden: Nuke her ass into oblivion, now!

The Biker tries to cap the Carving Witch in the head again but misses and gets ripped in the chest. However, the Army Ranger successfully decapitates her and saves Francis from being torn to shreds.

Snowden: I got you, Francis. Hang in there.

Francis: How does it look?

Snowden: Bad, but I've seen worse. You'll be okay.

Francis: Thanks again, brother.

Snowden: It's what friends are for. You should heal up.

Francis: No, we may need the First Aid Kit on the way to the National Mall. We ain't got many left. Remember?

Snowden: Understood. You wanna trade your Adrenaline Shot for my Pain Pills at least? Helps better for wounds.

Francis: How 'bout you? I haven't seen you heal up since the airport.

Snowden: I told you, I'll be fine.

Francis: Alright, man. Just make sure you use it. Ah, good old pick-me-up.

Snowden: You too.

After the simple recovery, the survivors get to the first floor and find two places of interest. One is Mars Café which has been converted into an armory for the military and the other is a safe house which used to be the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's gift shop.

Snowden: It seems the military's been here before. Considering the weapons and ammo in the Mars Café.

Louis: There's also a safe house in the gift shop.

Snowden: Let's stock up first before we rest up for a few. *grabs Capital Punishment M16 Assault Rifle w/ Laser Sight* Ah, brings back some good 82nd Airborne memories. With a laser/flashlight combo accessory? Nice.

Francis: Ammo here.

Louis: Cool.

Snowden: Hey, Zoey, there's a bunch of M16s here. Wanna get a big gun?

Zoey: Thanks, but no thanks. Automatic rifles aren't really my thing.

Snowden: Alright then, suit yourself. *grabs Explosive Ammo* Grabbing some frag— explosive rounds. *grabs Bile Bomb* Bile Bomb, more useful than it looks.

Like back in the USS Nimitz and Miami, Snowden also finds some drawings of some sort of Infected on CEDA sponsored notepads.

Snowden: What in the hell? Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes? Great trackers? Feed off of human flesh now? Okay, now I'm starting to think The Green Flu looks more like a man-made biological weapon than a natural disaster.

And just like before, he keeps them in his bag just as the Film School Student assembles the team in the gift shop safe house.

Zoey: Everyone good to go?

Snowden: Yep, that's everything.

Louis: Yes.

Francis: Yeah.

Zoey: Everybody inside.

[safe house door closes]

Zoey: Yes!

We're safe... for now.
