Now that they are just one staircase and one door away from the Helipad, the survivors re-establish contact with Searchlight 6.
Nick: Hey, Searchlight 6, it's us. We're on the top floor and just one door away from the Helipad. We'll send out a flare to let you know for sure.
Searchlight 6: Solid copy, News Chopper 5. I knew you'd make it. I'm currently on a flat, safe mountain overlooking the forest and the Dominion Surry Power Station. Give me the signal and I'll be on my way to you. ETA: 10 minutes.
Nick: Roger that, dude. Just don't leave us.
Coach: Okay, let's do it.
[safe house door opens]
One more stairway and doorway later, Coach, Ellis, Rochelle and Nick are on the Helipad. After firing the flare, they set up defensive positions in and on the Helipad's control tower.
Ellis: We're on the Helipad. We can set up on that control tower.
Rochelle: Time to light up that flare.
Nick: Watch out for Chargers and Tanks up here. We can get inside the tower to avoid falling.
Coach: Firing the flare!
[flare launches]
Searchlight 6: I see you! Stay strong, I'm en route now!

Rochelle: They're coming!

Nick: I got the Heavy Machine Gun!
[Grenade Launcher fire]

The Gambler and the Mechanic are on top of the control tower to provide overwatch and heavy fire support while the High School Teacher and the News Reporter are inside it in case someone needs the supplies there. Since all the Commons, Uncommons and Specials are coming in at the Heavy Machine Gun's line of fire, Nick is able to mow them down easily.

Nick: Here comes the first Tank! Get ready to head down quick when he gets too close!

Nick: Down! Down! Down!
[Baseball Bat hit]
Rochelle: DIIIEEE!
[Tank Death]
Rochelle: He can't be alone. Stay alert.
Searchlight 6: News Chopper 5, Searchlight 6 here. ETA is now five minutes. I say again, five minutes.

Coach: It's on!
Ellis: I'm grabbing the Heavy Machine Gun!
Nick: Hell, why not?
[gunfire]
Ellis: Die, die, my darlings! Die, die, die!
[Heavy Machine Gun clicks]
Ellis: Hey, why'd it stop shooting?!
Nick: You overheated the HMG! Three Spitters, look out!
[Silenced Submachine Gun fire]

Nick: Get out of the goo!
[Grenade Launcher fire]

[Hard Rain Muddy and Red Magazine M16 Assault Rifle fire]

Rochelle: Taken care of!
Coach: Come on, now! Keep it up! Keep it up!
After the second horde is taken care of, Searchlight 6 says the second Tank needs to be killed before he can land.
Searchlight 6: News Chopper 5, the LZ needs to be clear of big targets before I can land.
[Tank Theme plays]
Nick: I can feel him. Tank inbound!
[Tank Throws]
[gunfire]
Ellis: Run to the bottom!
[Tank Growls]
[Crowbar hit]
Ellis: DIIIEEE!
[Tank Death]
Ellis: I got it.
Nick: Impressive.
Once the second Tank falls, five minutes is up and Searchlight 6 arrives, lands fast and gets the survivors out of the Dominion Surry Power Station just as quick.
Searchlight 6: You did it, News Chopper 5! Now ready up, I'm coming in hot!

Ellis: There's the Army whirlybird!
Rochelle: God bless the U.S. Military!
[Tank Growls]
Nick: Fight amongst yourselves!
[Bile Bomb shatters]

Nick: Get on the chopper's Miniguns to cover our take-off!
[Minigun fire]
Searchlight 6: (off comms) Close the doors and hold on, we're leaving! (on comms) Whiskey Mike, this is Searchlight 6. I'm inbound with four survivors from News Chopper 5. Possible carriers, have a decon (decontamination) team on standby. Over.
Whiskey Mike: Roger that, Searchlight 6. Decon teams are prepping now. See you in three, Whiskey Mike out.
Searchlight 6: Affirmative. Searchlight 6, out.
Nick: Alright. I gotta say, thanks for coming back for us, Searchlight 6.
