The incident in Hosu was shown in media with Stain being the main topic due to Deku Ghost, a student hero, stopping him and the battle between nomus and pro-heroes were not given second glance
Tomura read the news article repeatedly before gripping it with both hands activating his quirk making the paper decay into ash before scratching his neck again
"Damn those two..." the hand villain grunted "the nomus are being overshadowed by the kid and hero killer!"
"Please calm down Shigaraki" Kurogiri reasoned "master is here with us"
"It's alright to feel angry" the voice spoke from the blank tv screen "I'll keep helping you get back on your feet"
"Master...has big brother heard the news of Hosu?"
"Yes he did, in fact...I got a call from him after he saw it"
Tomura gasped in surprise "what did he say...!?"
"Don't get too angry little brother, try to think on what made people ignore you"
The manchild breathed a bit and took in his brother's advice
"I'll be in my room master" he walked to the stairs "I need to fix my thoughts"
"That's good" the voice hummed "Kurogiri"
"Sir?" the warp villain stood in attention
"Make sure the place is presentable, after what happened in Hosu...Shigaraki will have some unexpected people wanting to see him"
"Yes sir"
Meanwhile Izuku was sitting across Kenji Tsuragamae about his actions in Hosu with the boy sustaining the least amount of injury despite his heavy involvement against the hero killer
"Even though the crisis has averted" the police chief looked at the boy "you stopped a dangerous criminal on your own woof"
"Isn't that a good thing?" Izuku blinked "I was granted permission to use my quirk that time after all..."
"Yes you have, but that doesn't mean you will act recklessly when doing such things" the police chief argued
"So you're saying I should just let the hero killer continue his killing spree...?" he argued back "and let the populace feel terror that heroes are being killed?"
The officer blinked at this and tried to argue that but was given another comeback on potential heroes proving themselves under the pros despite the rules making the dog man struggle with his words
While the two talked Manual and Gran Torino watched the conversation from window with another officer recording the conversation
"That intern of yours really got the chief tongue tied" the pro hummed
"I'm actually surprised he can do that" the old hero rubbed his chin 'the only other pro who could do that was Necrom...' and narrowed his eyes 'I'll have to ask Toshinori when I make that call'
The conversation finished with Kenji rubbing his eyes while Izuku smiled a bit that he wasn't getting punished for his good deed
"There's nothing I can do to with the media seeing his act against the hero killer" the chief sighed "his friends will be fine, but Ingenium still has to understand what he did that night"
"Do not worry chief" Manual stepped forward "I will inform my intern about it"
"That's for the best I suppose" Kenji looked at Gran Torino "we may have the authority but that doesn't we abuse our position to keep the peace"
"Heroes may be the main focus within the world" the old hero sighed "but society is forgetting that there are other ways to help their home than being a hero..."
"Just like Necrom said" the chief of police recalled that hero's words "I do this to protect lives, not be noticed"
"What will we do now?" Izuku questioned his mentor "this incident won't be going away soon"
"We continue to finish your internship" Gran Torino answered "just be careful with the crowds kid, eyes are on you now"
"Right" he nodded "but before we get back to my job under you, can we visit Iida first?" that got his mentor and Manual to look at him curiously "I mean, with how he acted against your rules, my friend might have trouble with his guilt..."
The two pros looked at each other before nodding making the soul student sigh in relief
Not to mention this would give him some time to mentally prepare should the people see him in his hero costume when he continues working under his mentor
Tenya was sitting on his bed with a sling on his right arm, thinking quietly on the words Izuku said to him from last night
'The pros give us lessons' his friend's voice echoed 'but we must decide if it's enough to be one'
'I didn't learn much from my mentor' he slumped a bit 'I was too focused on Stain to be a hero' and sighed a bit 'meaning my work will be rocky now...'
His thoughts stopped when the door opened to reveal Manual alongside Gran Torino and his classmate Izuku Midoriya
"Glad to see you awake Iida" the pro smiled "I hoped you thought hard on your failure that night"
"I am" he responded
"I'm just be glad that you are feeling better" Izuku looked at his classmate in relief
"I still have a long way to go Midoriya" the engine student looked at his wounded arm "the incident from that night opened my eyes"
"Just don't be irrational next time" the soul student called "you have a responsibility as our class rep in UA" he smiled "after all, you said that you will do what you can to be worthy of it"
"Not only that" Manual stepped forward "you still have to answer for disobeying protocol in Hosu"
"Yes..." Tenya acknowledged "and I won't make an excuse to my wrongdoing"
The old hero and soul student watched the two patch up without much trouble
"Looks like those two have their troubles handled" Gran smirked "mind if I leave you alone kid? Need to make call today"
"No problem" he nodded "I have to make one myself too"
In the UA staff room Shouta, Present Mic and Toshinori were fixing some papers on their tables before a ringtone came
A phone call is here! A phone call is here!
The blonde scarecrow answered his phone not noticing his fellow teachers were looking at him weirdly
'Seriously...?' the erasure hero thought 'you still have that as your ringtone?'
"This is Yagi speaking" he spoke
"It's been a while Toshinori" a familiar voice spoke from the device
"Master!?" he stood up spitting out some blood in surprise getting the other teachers' attention "you're calling me now?!"
"You know that I don't do this unless it's important" the old hero hummed
"Ye-yes..." Toshinori walked out of the staff room and toward his personal one since the matter is likely private "what is it that you wish to speak of?"
"It's about your successor" Gran's voice became serious "the quirk you passed onto him showed a different ability"
"Like what?" the hero turned teacher blinked 'One For All has more secrets than stockpiling power...?'
"You know that the past vessels have their own quirks before obtaining One For All" Gran Torino reminded
"So young Midoriya's soul quirk has finally mixed with it?" he hummed
"There's also something else" the old hero added "you saw the news of Hosu...?"
"Yes, young Midoriya has shocked me by stopping the hero killer" Toshinori replied
"Not only that, Stain has challenged the hero system and with the camera recording his involvement on Shigaraki" Gran sighed "other villains who hated heroes will use his declaration as means to join the League of Villains and fight the heroes"
"I see..." the scarecrow blinked "anything else?"
"I say you should tell the kid about One For All" the old hero added "since Hosu has brought out the nomus...you and I know who's making them"
"Yes master" Toshinori agreed "I'll tell young Midoriya about the quirk when the internship is finished"
"That's all I ask Toshinori" Gran hummed "this incident has now got most of society on alert"
While Gran Torino was conversing with his student, Izuku was talking with Ochaco
"I'm glad that you have started feeling okay in your work Uraraka" he smiled
"Y-yeah..." the gravity girl responded "I saw the news, I can't believe that you fought a villain Deku!"
"It's a surprise to me" the soul student sighed "an experience that I thought should be later than sooner"
"You were so brave in the screen!" Ochaco retorted "I don't think I or most of the class can jump into Stain like that"
'Katsuki can, though he might get scarred for facing the hero killer' he chuckled "anyway I should end this call, you still need to work your improvements"
"Yes I will...!" Ochaco returned "see you back at UA Deku!" was the last thing he heard before the call ended
'I wonder if the others are handling their workload?' he thought before walking around to find his mentor
Ochaco sighed deeply, she felt her worries being swept away after talking to her friend. And she has to work harder now if she plans to be a hero
"Uraraka!" Gunhead called to her "break's over...! Training time!"
"Eep!" the gravity girl jumped a bit "yes sir!"
The pro looked at his student and saw she was holding her phone
"Were you talking to a boy?" he questioned in surprise
"Yes! But it isn't what you think...!" she replied with a shaky voice
Earphone Jack was with Desugoro and another intern with her running to stop a villain in their sights
'I can't believe my internship has me running out and capturing a villain...!' She thought using her quirk to plug in into her speaker boots sending a sound blast at her target making the target falter in the run giving the pro an opening to lift a broken debris and use it to knock the villain out
Creati smiled as she walked in with her mentor and Suneater pushing a criminal into the office headquarters
'So this is what feels like to help people' she thought giddily 'I have to thank Midoriya for suggesting Fatgum as my mentor'
What she didn't realize is that her face turned red at thinking about the soul student
Dynamight was once again in his presentable appearance with Best Jeanist as the two walked around with the former gritting his teeth a bit for being seen as a weak hero instead of his usual loud self
"I see you've improved since your second fix up" the pro stated seeing his student staying calm
"Can't always solve things my way" the blonde explosive retorted 'I want to blow something up...!'
Froppy was doing warm ups with Sirius while Selkie was driving the boat on their patrol today
"I'm surprised that you were able to handle yourself" the sidekick spoke "I thought you'd panic first before helping out"
"You could say that Deku Ghost inspired me to act faster ribbit" the frog girl replied recalling her experience in USJ
"Yeah" she nodded "still shocked that he was able to stop the hero killer" before giggling "makes me want to see more of him on the news"
"Me too" Froppy nodded before realizing what she just said 'why did I say that?'
Red Riot and Real Steel panted as they finished their shift assigned by their mentor
"I never realized that having an agency has so much work" the hard student groaned
"Yeah" the steel student nodded "gotta make sure work is finished"
The internships has ended. The students were saying their thanks and making goodbyes to their mentors for the lessons
Izuku looked at Gran Torino with a warm smile
"Who are you...?" the hero suddenly asked acting like an old man surprising his student
'Why the sudden question?' he thought before blinking in realization "I'm Deku Ghost. Future hero of the world!"
Gran smiled at the answer and pointed his cane to the sky
"Correct" he said "now make sure you live up to that statement...!"
Izuku was at the train station walking to get his ticket but bumped into someone, causing him to look up and see an average girl with short brown hair and yellow eyes wearing a simple pink blouse and long shorts
"Sorry about that" he said "I was too busy to look around"
The girl was quiet but nodded before walking past him like nothing happened
After the soul student bought his ticket and entered the train and looked at his phone to see a text message from his friend Ochaco
Hi Deku! You starting to head back home?
He chuckled at the message and texted back
Hi Uraraka, yes I am on my way back
Another message popped up on his phone
Can't wait to see you again in UA!
Izuku chuckled at his classmate's eagerness and imagined that moment they see each other in class
What he doesn't know was that the same girl he bumped into earlier is in the same train looking at him from a distance
'It's really you...' she thought as a blush formed on her face 'I want to personally be with you'
Izuku walked out of the train station seeing the familiar district he lived in 'it's good to be back here' he thought 'maybe I can get a meal before going home'
So he walked into the alleyway as a shortcut thinking about what he will eat
But then Izuku felt danger and dodged an attack from behind seeing the girl he bumped into earlier was holding a knife...!
"What the-?" he blinked at seeing her again and she looked a bit crazy
"Finally alone" she smiled "I can't wait to taste you!"
The girl's appearance started to melt! And her real self was shown...
She had yellow cat-like eyes, blonde hair tied into twin buns with some strands flowing out, and a blush on her face alongside a smile showing sharp fangs of her teeth wearing a school uniform with a big sleeveless sweater to hide her physique
'I got crazy fan...' he gulped 'but I must subdue her, she's hesitant on getting what she wants from me like an actual villain' and readied himself "come get it"
"Gladly...!" she ran forward to do another stab on her target and get her prize
But the soul student grabbed the girl's wrist and pushed the attacking arm down causing her to lose footing before he kneed the weapon making it spin on the concrete ground a short distance away from them
"Oh poo" she huffed "I lost..."
"Now that the crazy part is taken cared of" Izuku sighed making sure that he was in between the weapon and the girl "mind introducing me who you are and why you attacked me...?"
"My name is Himiko Toga and I attacked you because Stainy said you were worth something" she smiled as if it was the obvious answer "so I wanted to find out for myself!"
'So the hero killer swayed her' the soul student thought 'then again, he was so focused on purging fake heroes' he hummed '...didn't bother that a few villains who might see him as an excuse to fight'
"So you want my blood?" he guessed
Himiko narrowed her eyes at his question "how did you know?"
"It's not that hard to connect the dots" he shrugged "you're holding a knife, wanted a taste of me and mentioned the hero killer" before looked at her again "which means your quirk involves blood"
Izuku let Himiko go, lifted his arm and rolled up the sleeve before presenting it to her "go on" he said "get your fill"
"You're really offering...?" she blinked in surprise "you want a return service...? I can get on my knees and-"
"NO-!" Izuku shouted as his face turned atomic red "just take my blood and calm yourself...!"
Himiko blinked again before going to the limb he offered "very different from typical heroes..." she muttered
The girl bit on Izuku's arm, making him flinch a bit, drawing blood and slurped loudly like it was her special drink in the entire world!
After finally having what she wanted, Himiko removed herself from Izuku's arm and wrapped the wound with a cloth she carried under her sweater looking slightly guilty
"Sorry..." she muttered finishing the wrap
'She's calm now' he thought 'this actually reminded of my match with Shinso in the Sports Festival' before shaking his head 'a quirk that makes others fear you...'
"Now that you are relaxed" Izuku looked at his new acquaintance "do you feel like talking with me...?"
Himiko blinked again, usually after having an encounter... her targets were either scared or dead because of her blood cravings
But here's someone offering her what she needed and stayed afterward!
"Uh..." Himiko really wasn't sure how to answer
Thankfully she doesn't have to, her stomach suddenly growled causing him to blink
"Sorry" she held her stomach "I needed blood to calm down that I forgot to eat"
"Well I can't have you be seen in public thanks to your stunt earlier" he hummed "I can get us some food before you can talk"
"How will I know you won't leave me?" she narrowed her eyes in suspicion
"Ah right" Izuku blinked before snapping his fingers "I've got something to assure you that I will come back"
He used his soul quirk and summoned the Himiko eyecon in his hand gaining her attention
"Hold onto this" Izuku smiled offering the item to her "my quirk is connected to it, so you'll know I'll be back"
He then glanced at the eyecon 'I hope you're okay with this Himiko...' he thought telepathically
'Don't worry' the royal priestess replied 'this girl felt kindness from you, she'll listen' and then giggled 'apparently you're the first person who isn't scared of her'
'That's good' he nodded before looking at the girl "don't worry Toga, I'll bring us food. Just stay put"
After he left, Himiko sat on the floor with her back against the wall thinking about her encounter with Izuku today
'Stain said that he was considered a true hero' she looked at the eyecon given to her 'even though he could just leave after I got my blood cravings down' and gripped it tightly 'this is the first time someone wanted to help me'
Her thoughts stopped when she heard foot steps nearby, she saw her knife in the distance and jumped toward it before pointing it at the person in front of her who was none other than Izuku
"Sorry..." she lowered her weapon looking away in shame
"I'm not surprised" he walked toward her "your blood cravings made it hard for people to approach you" and presented the paper bag he's holding "I brought us a meal" a smile graced his lips "hope you like fast food, it's the only kind I can buy with my budget today"
"That's fine" Himiko hummed but noticed something "why is there only one bag…?"
"I'm not that hungry thanks to my encounter with Stain" Izuku pulled out a sandwich before giving her the bag "besides, you need it more than I do"
The girl blinked for a third time... seeing someone care for her without second thought... she was really conflicted now!
Izuku simply sat across from Himiko as she quietly ate her meal thinking about this situation, he used his quirk summoning the eyecon to his side making a mental conversation while he ate
'That girl is troubled...' the priestess sighed 'I sense so much turmoil within her, it's surprising that she can make decisions at all!'
'I know Himiko' he responded 'I'm not leaving her in sorrow' and became determined 'I'll save Toga and get her help so the world can see that villains are victims too...'
'You have such a strong spirit' she giggled 'may it be your defining trait as a hero' before going silent leaving the soul student do his work
After Himiko finished her meal, she looked at Izuku and he still stayed despite having the opportunity to run away...!
"Ready to share?" he asked with a warm smile not forcing anything out of her "you don't have to tell me everything" the soul student extended his arm, the same one which the girl bit on to get the blood she craves, to her "maybe a change of location could help you talk" he suggested "care for a walk to the park...?"
She was hesitant at first but grabbed the limb and looked at the soul student feeling safe for once and her reddened face just became more visible
The two sat at the bench and Himiko was gripping her skirt tightly... she has a hard time what to do now!
Izuku saw her body tremble and can see her life was bad. He doesn't know when it happened, but he knows that he can relate. He was miserable in his younger days after all...
So he placed his hand on Himiko's getting her attention "it's okay, you don't have to tell me now" he smiled again "I can wait"
The soul student's words finally broke through to her... she grabbed him and cried her heart out, unleashing the pent up emotions she carried for years!
Izuku didn't budge. He wrapped his arms around the girl keeping her close as she let her tears flow out
'A hero saves lives' he remembered his statement when facing the hero killer 'I'll save her!'
After the waterworks are done. Himiko started telling her miserable life and how it led her to become the blood crazed being she is today to him
The soul student stayed quiet and listened intently, his encounter with the hero killer in Hosu wasn't a coincidence. He knew the villain had strong beliefs about heroes doing good things...
He will do that!
"Toga" Izuku looked at the girl as she wiped her tears away "I know you have done bad things thanks to your quirk" he lifted her face and looked at her in the eye "but I was able to find out why you act like this"
He then made a statement "you are not a villain. You are someone who just needs help..." his eyes showed determination and warmth "I will not let you stay in pain"
Himiko looked at the soul student and felt he wasn't lying
For the first time in her entire life, she felt everything will be okay...
"But...how will you help?" she looked away recalling her acts of villainy "the world won't try to excuse my crimes"
"I have someone that could help us" he pulled out his phone "I just hope he and my mom won't get jumpy when we meet again..." and looked at her "hopefully your quirk can partially change your look to hide from the police and the media"
The girl blinked at the suggestion, she hadn't thought on trying partial changes with her quirk...but smiled a bit 'I drank Deku Ghost's blood, maybe he can be my test trial' before covering her mouth to muffle her giggles 'a hero just saved me, and he's cute too...!'

And that's the internship part (sorry for the lack of action, but what can you do after the big fight in Hosu besides continuing the intended work under the pros?)
Himiko Toga went after Izuku upon seeing the news of Hosu with the boy saving her from the villain route and gave the girl a path to be better (I'm surprised the people studying the quirk phenomena only focused on physical effect than brain waves. No doubt the government was more focused on the position of hero or villain due to the surge of super powers within society)
