I do not own anything from Star Wars or Pokemon At all. Only things I do own are the Poke Republic, the made up Clone legions and Master Bertrand. If you want to know what happened beforehand, read Star Wars Pokemon Rebels. It's one of my personal favorites.
It was a few months into the Clone Wars and Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi wan Kenobi were about to go on a mission when Alarms on the Ship they were on started to go off, prompting them to go to the bridge. On the bridge, Obi wan asked a crew member, "What's happening?" and the Crew Member said, "We're detecting a ship in need of assistance. It just appeared into the system." Anakin asked if the ship was Republic of Speratist and the crewman said, "We don't know, it has markings we've never seen before." Then Obi wan asked, "Where did it jump from?"
"That's the thing sir. It didn't jump into the system. It just… appeared" replied the Crewman. Then another Crewman said, "Sir, we're seeing escape pods launch from it." Anakin looked at Obi wan and said, "We have to help them." Obi wan nodded his head and said, "Agreed, lock on to the escape pods with the tractor beams and bring them on board, do we have a visual on the damaged ship?" Another Crew Member said, "Yes sir, right side." Obi wan and Anakin looked out the right side windows and saw a ship launching escape pods that was very damaged. After the last of the escape pods were launched, the ship imploded on itself and created a dust cloud. Obi Wan then said, "Pull the Escape pods into the Hanger, I wish to speak to whoever's in them." One Crewmember nodded his head and went to his station.
In one escape Pod, a man looked out the window in awe as he saw the ships, his face practically glued to the window as the Escape Pod he was in got jerked around a little and one woman said, "John, what's happening?" and the man said, "Tractor beam has us. We're being pulled towards the Venator, SWEET!" Then another man said, "How is this sweet?" John looked at the man and said, "simple Ash, this situation shows that the time Machine worked, but when it's not tampered with. Which reminds me, we need to arrest the person who Sabotaged the Time Machine. Now we're stuck in the past with the knowledge to save all the Jedi that died during the Purge." Then Ash said, "But John, what happened to the rules of the Space time continuum?" John looked at Ash and said, "So? The timelines diverged when we all managed to get out, other timelines now exist where some of us didn't get out, where none of us got out, where the ship wasn't sabotaged and imploded. Our timeline will change as we affect the past." Then another man, with spiky brown hair said, "Won't we cease to exist then?"
"That's a possibility Gary, but we might not cease to exist. We already changed History when the Ship was pulled into the past, might as well see what we can do to help the republic." Said John before the Escape pod fell down and slid to a stop along with two other pods. John saw the Hanger Doors on the Venator close up and the shields for the side Hangers turned off, signaling to John that it was safe to get out now. John then led Gary, Ash, Dawn, Ash's wife Serena, and Gary's wife Misty, out of the pod. Standing on the venator, John looked around at all the soldiers, LAATs, and Republic fighters. John was joined by Ash and Dawn in looking as a door behind them opened and Obi Wan Kenobi walked out, followed by Anakin. John saw them, and saw that May and Max were on board with him and he called the two over. John, May, and Max all walked up to Anakin and Obi Wan and bowed as John said, "Greetings Master Kenobi." Obi wan raised an Eyebrow and said, "Greetings to you too, whoever you are."
"My Apologies Master Kenobi. My name is John Bertrand, on my right is May Kirtman, on my left is her Brother Max Kirtman." said John as the rest of the people from the three pods joined them. John stepped to the side and said, "This is Admiral Ash Ketchum, my wife Dawn Berlitz Bertrand. Admiral Ketchum's wife Serena Yovonne Ketchum, Representative Gary Oak and his wife Misty Waterflower Oak. The rest are our crew of the Dialga. We are part of the Poké Republic." Obi Wan and Anakin looked at each other before looking back at John and Obi Wan said, "We never heard of this Poké Republic." Then John said, "Because… we are from the distant future." Both Anakin and Obi Wan were speechless, until Anakin said, "The Future? As in the time yet to come?"
John and everyone that knows him nodded their heads before Obi Wan said, "We'll have to discuss this with the Chancellor." but John, May, Max, Ash, Dawn, Serena, Gary, and Misty all shouted, "NO!" Startling the two Jedi a little bit before John said, "Absolutely no word about us is to be given to that maniac!" Anakin crossed his arms and said, "Why?" That was when John said, "Because that man is a secret Sith Lord." Shocking Obi Wan and Anakin. Obi wan looked at John and said, "Are you sure about that?" May and Max nodded their heads as John said, "Very." Obi wan placed a hand on his chin and said, "The Council will have to be notified." Anakin looked at Obi Wan and said, "You can't be serious master, there's no way he's a Sith Lord, these people must be crazy." May ignited her Lightsaber and held it up to Anakin's chin, surprising him and Obi wan before she said, "No one talks about Master Bertrand like that."
"Where did you get a Lightsaber, and what did she mean, Master Bertrand?" Obi Wan asked John. John placed a hand on May's arm, causing her to look at him. John then said, "Put it away, May, please." May nodded her head and said, "Yes Master." As May placed her Lightsaber on her side, John said, "In the future, I become A Jedi, along with May and Max here, watch." John had everyone move out of the way as he, May, and Max all used the force to lift the three Escape Pods, surprising Obi Wan and Anakin. After placing the Escape pods down, John said, "The three of us drank Liquid force in a bottle and gained the ability to use the force. I would like to explain more, but I would like to explain to the council if I can." Obi Wan and Anakin looked at each other before Obi Wan said, "we'll get a shuttle ready for us to be taken to the temple."
"The Temple, the Jedi Temple?!" said John, all Excited. Obi Wan nodded his head before John jumped for Joy and asked if his advisors could come. Anakin took a step forward and said, "Advisors?" making John realize that he never told him his position in the Poké Republic. John then said, "My Apologies, in the Future, I'm also the president of the Poké Republic." Anakin's Jaw dropped as Obi Wan had a surprised face on him as they saw May, Max, Ash, Dawn, Serena, Gary, and Misty nodding their heads. Then Anakin said, "That's impossible, Jedi aren't supposed to have positions in government." but John said, "Actually, Jedi were actually in a position of Power, they were once the Supreme Chancellor, until the first non-force user was put into office. Obi Wan looked at Anakin and said, "That Information must have been lost when the Sith Empire occupied the planet. Either way, we must share the information we gain with the Council."
After getting a few shuttles to take them down to the Surface, the side doors opened on John's and he said to May, Max. Dawn, Ash, and Serena, "Welcome to Coruscant! Capital of the Galactic Republic, future Capital of the Galactic Empire." That was when Obi Wan said, "Do you stand by what you say about the Chancellor?" John nodded his head and said, "Yes Master Kenobi, I do." Obi Wan nodded his head before the gunship they were on landed in the Hanger of the Jedi Temple, followed by two more. As Obi Wan, Dawn, Ash, and Serena stepped off, John, May and Max stayed on. John then said, "Okay you two, we're about to step on sacred ground, be very respectful of the Masters and the grounds."
May and Max nodded their heads and they all stepped off the gunship. John had the biggest smile on his face as he walked up to the others as Obi wan asked Ash, "Is he alright?" and Ash said, "He's fine. He's just excited to be here is all." As they walked to the Council room, John said, "We are walking in history guys, literal history. Now when we get to the council Chambers, be very respectable to them. During this time period they are the best the Order has as leaders. We must show them the Utmost respect." May and Max nodded their heads as they were led into the elevator that went to the Council Chambers. As the elevator rose, John dusted himself off as he got closer and closer to the council Chambers, he had to be on his best manners, show to the council that he is a leader. John even adjusted his Tie and asked Ash, "How do I look?" and Dawn said, "You look fine Honey, relax."
"I'm trying, but these are important Jedi in History we're going to meet, I'm nervous is all." replied John. Then Obi Wan said, "Trust in the force and it will wash over you in calmness." John nodded his head and closed his eyes, suddenly a wave of Calmness came over him right as the doors opened. John opened his eyes and walked forward. Soon they were in the middle of the Council chambers with Masters Present and Masters sitting in through Holograms. From left to right sat the Iridonian Zabrak Eeth Koth, there was an empty seat that Obi wan sat in, the male Nautolan Jedi Master Kit Fisto, a Tholothian female by the name of Jedi Master Adi Gallia. Next to Master Gallia was Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis, a male Thisspiasian from the planet Thisspias. Then there was Jedi Master Even Piell, a male Lannik from the planet Lannik. Next to Master Piell was Togruta Jedi Master Shaak Ti. Next to Shaak Ti is Iktotchi Jedi Master Saesee Tiin. Then there was Cerean Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi, Grand jedi Master Yoda, Jedi Master Mace Windu and Kel Dor Jedi Master Plo Koon. Mace Windu then said, "So these are the people from the ship that imploded on itself?" Obi Wan nodded his head and said, "The three in front are apparently Jedi, Anakin and I saw then lift up the three Escape Pods we pulled into the Resolute."
"Who is the leader of your people?" Mace asked. John stepped forward and said, "I am Master Windu. My name is John Bertrand, Grand Jedi Master of the New Jedi Order's Poké Republic Branch, also president of the Poké Republic, long story about that." The Masters looked at each other before Master Windu said, "Start at the Beginning." John nodded his head and started his story. After what seemed like forever, John said, "We then got sent into the Past and I ordered all hands to abandon the Dialga, that's the Time Frigate I mentioned, after getting told that all the systems were down, she was going to Implode, and here we are, talking to you."
"That's an interesting story Mr. President." Said Master Plo. Master Windu then said, "Yes, but Jedi are not allowed to have positions in government." That was when John said, "Actually Master Windu, According to ancient files, Jedi were once the Supreme Chancellor for the Republic, until the first non force user got elected into office. Plus, isn't the Jedi Order a Hierarchy with the highest Rank being Grand Jedi Master, which in my time is me and another Jedi for the New Republic's Branch of the New Jedi Order, not to forget Yoda during this time period." Master Yoda then said, "Speaking the truth, he is, sense it, I can. Yeesssssss." Master Windu was next to speak and he said, "I sense it was well. You are truthful about your statement." Then Master Shaak Ti said, "Which means our lives are doomed." But John said, "That is where I think you're Wrong Master Shaak Ti. Now that we're here, we might change the future." Master Windu stood up and said, "In that case, you'll need clones to command." Then Shaak Ti said, "We have three new Legions, the 898th to 900th Legion, in need of Jedi Generals."
"Actually Master Shaak Ti, can we get assigned one Legion? I personally would like to keep the people that came from my time with me, for safety reasons." The Masters looked at each other before Master Windu said, "How about we give you the three Legions, one for each of you, but we'll have you fight battles together." John, May, and Max all smiled at that and they accepted that idea. Later, John, May, and Max were all given outfits For Jedi of the time. Ash was given an Admiral's uniform and command of all three Legion's fleets. John requested that Gary, Misty, and Dawn help Senator Amidala in the Senate and it was approved.
Soon, the three Jedi and Admiral were approached by three Clones wearing different Color Armour. One clone trooper had his Armour painted a light blue Hue. On his left the Clone Trooper's armor was a pure bright Green, and the final Clone Trooper had full Maroon armor. The three Clone Troopers stopped and saluted John, May, Max, and Ash. The blue Clone Trooper said, "Generals, Admiral, my clone number CC-1362, but my name is Nitro. This is CC-1363, and he calls himself Grounder. The clone in Maroon Amour is CC-1364, his name is Grant."
"Greetings Nitro, Grounder, and Grant. I'm Master John Bertrand. These are Jedi Knights May Kirtman and Max Kirtman, they are brother and Sister." That was when Nitro said, "Well General Bertrand, I'm assigned to be your second in Command of your Legion. Grounder is for General May and Grant is for General Max." John smiled and said, "Understood, and this is Admiral Ash Ketchum, he'll be in command of all three fleets." That was when Master Yoda walked up and said, "Ah, met your clone commanders, I see you three have." John nodded his head and said, "Yes Master Yoda, and may I ask where you are going?"
"A meeting with King Katuunko the monarch of the Toydarians, have I. Hoping to establish a supply base in the toydaria system, the council is. So going to meet the king on the coral moon of rugosa, I am. Hmmmmmm." Said Master Yoda. John remembered in the Archives of the New Republic about that meeting and said, "Master Yoda, I would like to come with you on this mission." Master Yoda chuckled before he said, "If you insist Master Bertrand, then along, you may come. Yeesssssss." John smiled before looking at Ash and said, "If we get in a scuffle, I'll call you in." but Master Yoda said, "No need for that will there be. Handle what happens on our own, we can." John nodded his head and said, "Of Course Master Yoda." Soon John and Master Yoda were on the ship that was to transport them to the meeting place. After entering the System, the Commander of the Ship, Zak, tried to raise the toydarian Royal Delegation. He then looked at Master Yoda and said, "General, the toydarians' beacon is active on the moon, but our transmissions are being jammed." Master Yoda looked at John and said, "Master Bertrand, now, what will happen?" John then said, "Well, a few Munificent-Class Frigates will Jump in right about…" and as if on cue, a Munificent-Class Frigate jumped in and began opening fire. John then said, "I hope you know I didn't plan that!"
"Too late it is, sprung is the Trap." said Master Yoda. John then said, "Zak, get your ship out of here, our mission is still on." Master Yoda nodded his head and said, "Quickly now, reach the Planet's surface we must." and as he, John, and the three Clones escorting them made their way to the escape pods, Zak said, "In an escape pod sir? The enemy will fire at anything we launch." That was when John said, "Then launch all the Pods captain, we need to get down there to speak to King Katuunko." After John, Master Yoda, and the three Clone Troopers with them got in a pod, Zak had all the pods launched and headed to the surface. As one clone trooper, named Rys, piloted their escape pod, the Separatists kept trying to hit it. But they kept missing.
"That was a close one." Rys said to the pod's passengers. Then another Clone trooper, a Lieutenant by name of Thire, looked at Master Yoda and John and said to them, "Generals I think we're out of range." then Master Yoda said, "I agree. But, entering another Trap, we are." The Clones looked at each other as John said, "Indeed, Asajj Ventress is already on the planet, she'll try to capture us to make the king side with the Separatists." That was when the third Clone trooper, Jek, asked, "Are you sure?" Soon Master Yoda spoke again and he said, "A disturbance in the force, there is." That was when they landed on the Surface.
Getting out of the escape pod, John had Clone Commander Thire contact the Toydarians. Thire nodded his head and activated the communicator, soon a Toydarian appeared and said, "This is King Katuunko, Speak." and Thire said, "Master Yoda would like to talk with you sir." Thire then showed King Katuunko Master Yoda on John's shoulders and Yoda said, "A pleasure it is to hear your voice, your highness. Master Yoda of the Jedi Council this is." then John said, "and I am Jedi Master John Bertrand of the Jedi Council as well your highness." King Katuunko then said, "Master Jedi, I thought perhaps Count Dooku had frightened you off." That was when John said, "We're Jedi, it would take more than a few Frigates to scare us off." Then Master Yoda said, "Delayed, we have been. But not too far away we are now. Unaware I was, Count Dooku was invited to our meeting."
"The count invited himself. He assures me in this time of war, his droids can offer my world better security than your Jedi." King Katuunko said to Yoda and John. John scoffed and said, "That is a matter of debate, unless Asajj Ventress can prove me wrong?" Then there was a chuckle and a bald, pale skin woman with two battle droids said, "I accept the challenge. Allow me to send my best troops to capture the two Jedi. If they escape, join the Republic. But should my droids defeat the two Jedi, consider an alliance with the separatists." King Katuunko said that he did not request the Jedi's presence on the planet to test them in battle. But Master Yoda said, "Accept the challenge we do, your highness. Arrive by nightfall, we will." Soon the transmission ended. With Asajj and King Katuunko, he fluttered over to Ventress and said, "Master Yoda and Bertrand Must be given a fair fight." Ventress replied, "My dear King Katuunko, I would have it no other way."
Back at the crash site, Yoda, John, and Thire all looked at the scenery as Yoda said, "Beautiful, this moon is, Hmmm?" John nodded his head and said, "Indeed it is Master Yoda. The universe is amazing sometimes." That was when a shadow came over them. Looking, the two Jedi and three clones saw a C-9979 landing craft fly over them and Rys said, "There's gotta be a full battalion in there. Probably packing armor, too." Then Jek pulled out his Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and said, "we'll have something for them." John smiled before saying, "okay, only carry what you need, any extra weight will slow you down." That was when Master Yoda got on John's shoulders and said, "Correct, Master Bertrand is. Destroy Ventress, your weapons will not. Come, come, Lieutenant, hurry we must." as the two Jedi walked in a different direction, Thyre said, "Sirs the rendezvous point is that way." as he pointed towards the enemy.
"As is our enemy. To reach our goal, a straight path we will not follow." Said John from John's shoulders. Soon the clones began to follow the two Jedi. John then spoke to Master Yoda and he said, "Knowing Ash he might bring all the Legions under my command to mount any rescue attempt." Yoda chuckled as they walked on to reach King Katuunko's position. After a while, a battledroid commander, OOM-224, saw them and said, "I think I see them. They're hiding deep in the trees! Fire on sector 11!" Soon all the Separatists tanks opened fire and explosions went off but nowhere near the clones and Jedi. When the Clones were about to return fire, John said, "Be at ease my friends, we're not within range of their guns." they watched on as the droids kept moving forward until they stopped. That was when one tank went forward fast and got stuck. Thire got a closer look with his scanner and said, "Those tanks are too big to follow."
"See, see? Size is not everything, Hmm? Smaller in number are we, but Larger in mind." Said Master Yoda before giggling and walking off. Jek looked at his brothers and asked, "Do you have any idea what the general is talking about?" Rys came back by saying, "How should I know? There's no figuring a Jedi Master." as the clones got up and caught up with the two Jedi as John said, "What Master Yoda means troopers is this. Yes we have smaller numbers in terms of people, but with these small numbers we can take down bigger troop numbers by being smart. An Example is with the tanks, with them not being able to roll on through here, they will have to send in the Droid Platoons. From there we can ambush them and take each platoon out separately."
That was when the sound of battledroids got closer and after looking behind them, Thyre said, "Sirs, there are two patrols coming in on foot." Then Yoda said, "Now is the time to face the enemy, Lieutenant. Ambush them, we will." Rys looked at John and said, "You called it." John nodded his head and said, "Master Yoda can handle himself, we'll flank them from the south, let's go troopers." They all then split up to take down the Droid platoons. As the droids got closer, John pulled out his lightsaber and personal blaster. Soon one droid's head was shot off by Rys as he fired more shots off and the Droids returned fire, forcing him to change position. Then Master Yoda jumped around and one droid said, "Look, a little green life form." Another droid looked at the first droid and said, "You bucket head! That's the Jedi!" the first droid said, "He IS a little one, Blast him!" The Droids then opened fire at Master Yoda while John blasted some droids while slicing through some others.
The head battledroid said, "Split up by squad and spread out." He got a lot of Roger roger. As the droids split into the two squads. The clones and John got ready to take down the Droids heading to them. Jek came out from cover as he said, "Okay Clankers, SUCK LASER!" before he fired off his Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and took down the droids with the other clones and John. That was when Rys asked where Master Yoda was, Jek said, "I don't know, we got separated." Soon they came under fire by other droids, this time Super battle droids. The clones and John opened fire but they got separated and John went to find Master Yoda.
With Yoda, he was slicing through the battle droids and taking them all down when John arrived and he said, "Master Bertrand, having fun are we? Hmm?" John smiled and said, "yes I am master Yoda, but Thire and the others are in trouble, supers have been deployed and we engaged them." Yoda then got on John's back and said, "Come, help them, we must." John nodded his head and ran to help the clones. Back with the troopers, Rys said, "I sure hope the generals reach the rendezvous point." Before Jek turned around and opened fire as he said, "We're sure buying them time." as they kept running, a Super Battle droid shot a grenade near thire and it wounded him. When Rys ran to help his commander, the droids got closer. But John and Master Yoda arrived and began to cover the clones to allow them to get behind cover.
Getting to the cover themselves, Thire asked the two jedi, "what are we gonna do sir?" Yoda and John then looked at each other and nodded their heads. They then got into mediation positions as the clones shot back at the Super Battle droids before they lifted two of them up with the force. The clones watched on as the one super battle droid being lifted by Yoda said, " Hey, what's going on?" They then spun the droids they were lifting and had them open fire on the other Super battleroids. The droid John was lifting up said, "Get out of the way, all of you! we're having a serious malfunction." The two Jedi then began to lower the droids as the droid Yoda was lifting said "Don't shoot! We're on your side!" Then the two droids got shot apart, which allowed for John and Yoda to force push the remaining Battledroids.
"Ha! You found us just in time sirs." said Thire. Master Yoda told Thire and the other clones, "Left behind no one will be." Then the sounds of Metallic clanking got closer fast. Looking at where it was coming from, three Droidekas appeared, set up and opened fire at them, but Master Yoda and John began blocking the shots as Yoda said, "Retreat, cover you we will." The clones obeyed and ran while John was next and Yoda hopped on his back, deflecting a shot into some of the Coral trees, sending it down to crush the Droidekas." with King Katuunko and Asajj, OOM-224 reported in and said, "The Republic Troops are injured. The Jedi are in full retreat, Supreme Leader." Asajj smiled and said, "Good. Pursue them without delay."
"The contest is not over yet." said King Katuunko. He then contacted Master Yoda, who was still on John's king then said, "Master Yoda. I hear you're having trouble with the droid army?" Master Yoda kept a cool head and said, "Trouble? I know nothing of this trouble. Look forward to our meeting soon, I do." That was when Asajj used the force to pull the King's communicator and crushed it before saying, "The Jedi won't elude me for long." Back with John, Master Yoda, and the clones, John and Jek were helping Thyre walk as Master Yoda led them to a canyon and then to a cave. That was when Thyre asked, "Are you sure we should go in there, General? There's no way out." But Yoda said, "Now rest we must." After a while, Rys pulled out a light source as Jek said, "We're low on ammo, sirs. Only Two grenades left, and one rocket for the launcher." then Rys stood up and said, "Against a Battalion?" he scoffed and added, "Forget it. We've lost." That was when Yoda said, "So certain of defeat are you, Hmm?" That was when he took his lightsaber out and started to make the DC-15A blaster rifle into a crutch for Thire as the clone captain said, "with respect, Generals, maybe you two should go on. Let us slow them down."
"That's not going to happen Thire." John said as Yoda finished up before saying, "All around us is that which we need to prevail. Yes. Hmm" Yoda then handed the makeshift crutch to thire as the clones sat down and Yoda said, "Come, sit. Your helmets, remove them. Your faces I wish to see." John sat next to Master Yoda as the clones took their helmets off and Thire said, "There's not much to look at here, sir. We all share the same face." Yoda looked at Thire and said, "Deceive you, eyes can. In the Force, very different each one of you are." John nodded his head and said, "I agree with Master Yoda, you may share the same face, but you three are very different."
John got up and walked around as he said, "Rys, you are always focused on the enemy. You should look to yourself and those who stand beside you for inspiration." John walked to Jek and said, "Jek, you're too concerned about the status of the weapons. Weapons don't win battles, the people who use them win battles. Your mind is a powerful tool, people can use their mind to outthink and defeat their foes." Then John looked at Thire and finished up by saying, "Thire, we don't always need to rush into fights. The war will be long, you will only prevail by surviving it." sitting down next to Yoda, John then said, "You may be clones, but the force resides in all forms of life. You can use it to quiet your mind." Yoda smiled and said, "Said it better myself master bertrand I couldn't have, wiser then you make yourself look you are. Yes, hrrmmm." Soon the clanking of battle droids was heard from outside.
Looking down at the battle droids and the three Armored Assault Tanks. Rys and Jek were in the prone position as Rys said, "Tanks. Is that the best they can throw at us?" but Jek said, "Yeah, but I've only got one shot left." That was when Master Yoda said, "Greet them, master Bertrand and I will." Thire questioned Yoda by asking him, "General, you don't plan to take that whole column by yourself." That was when Master Yoda giggled and said, "Have you three we do! Outnumbered are they. Know the time to help us, you will." He then began to hop down with John following suit until they landed in front of the Droid column. The column stopped as Master Yoda sat down and John knelt next to him when OOM-224 said, "It's the Jedi, block their escape! Prepare to fire!" John smiled as OOM-224 contacted Asajj and said to her, "Supreme Leader, we found the Jedi." Asajj said, "Excellent. Where is he?" OOM-224 then said, "they're just sitting here, in front of our tanks."
"Shoot him! SHOOT HIM NOW!" shouted Asajj. John and Yoda looked at the droids with looks of seriousness on their faces as the OOM-224 said, "Quickly! Ready, aim, fire!" no droid fired and he said fire again, but Master Yoda and John jumped up before the droids fired and used the force to pull their lightsabers to their hands. Landing on the ground, lightsabers ignited, they charged the droids and slashed through all the droids while blocking blaster bolts. Master Yoda then went under the command Tank and cut a hole into the bottom of it. Soon he was inside the tank as OOM-224 said, "Oh, no!" out of the back came two droids as one said, "Run for it!" but they got pulled back in and cut into pieces before Master Yoda turned to OOM-224 and began to be dismantled as OOM-224 protested, "But… I… just… got… promoted!" Yoda then jumped out and used the force to throw OOM-224's dismantled body into the air as Thire said, "Doesn't look like the generals need help to me." John and Yoda blocked more and more Blaster fire from the droids before Yoda jumped from Droid to droid, cutting into the heads of them as John used the force to push droids into the canyon walls.
As Asajj and King Katuunko watched, the king chuckled before he said, "That's a lot of smoke for a surrender." Asajj pulled her communicator out and said, "Report, what's going on over there. 224 come in!" When a different droid appeared, she asked him, "Where is 224?!" The droid told her that the Jedi were decimanting their numbers and 224 was destroyed before Yoda cut the head off the droid. That was when King Katuunko said, "I think perhaps all those Stories about the Jedi are true." Asajj looked at him and said, "The fight isn't over yet, Majesty." being the deceitful Sith assassin she was, she activated nine Droidekas and they rolled towards Master Yoda and John. back in the Canyon, John and Master Yoda were cutting through the droid ranks as Thire said, "The Generals are cutting them up."
Soon thire and Jek began to laugh, but Rys said, "We've got Trouble." They all saw the Droidekas and Jek said, "The clankers sent reinforcements." As the Droidekas got closer, Thrie said, "The Generals are too busy with that tank. They won't see 'em coming." Thire then saw a ledge on the opposite side of the canyon and he said, "I think I know how to deal with them." Meanwhile, John force pushed several droids, which allowed Master Yoda to get under the tank, slicing the underside, and destroying it. They then saw the nine Droidekas get into their firing modes and they opened fire while John and Master Yoda blocked the shots. Thire took the Rocket Launcher and, aiming at the right spot on the cliff, fired the rocket. It struck the area Thire was aiming for and soon. Destroyed the Droidekas, saving Master Yoda and John.
Sitting on the rocks with Master Yoda, John saw the clones walking up to them and John asked Thire, "Hey Lieutenant, have you learned something from today?" Thire looked at him and said, "I think we all did, General." John smiled as Yoda hopped onto John's back and said, "Go we must, behind schedule are we. Not polite to be late." They all then began to walk to the meeting point. Master Yoda looked at John and said, "Helpful today master bertrand you were, a fitting jedi you are. Yes, hmmm." John smiled and thanked Master Yoda for the confidence in him. With King Katuunko and Asajj, she contacted her master, Count Dooku and the King told Dooku, "You were right count, One Jedi is not worth a hundred Battle Droids. More like, a thousand. I'm Sorry, but I will be joining the Republic." Count Dooku told the king, "I urge you to reconsider, wise king. I promise you won't regret it." King Katuunko then added, "Your agent also promised me Yoda would get a fair fight. I will not deal with those who break their words."
"So be it. Perhaps our Negotiations will be more fruitful with your successor. Ventress, kill him!" She smiled and readied her lightsabers as King Katuunko's bodyguards opened fire at her. She blocked them and force pushed the two back. As she was about to kill King Katuunko, she was stopped by Yoda and John. The two Battle droids with Asajj were about to open fire, but Jek and Rys took them down first. King Katuunko then said, "Jedi Master Yoda, I am very pleased to meet you at last." Master Yoda told King Katuunko, "Share the feeling I do, King Katuunko." John and Yoda then used the force to push Ventress backwards before Master Yoda said, "Failed you Ventress has, count." Ventress readied her blades before saying, "I don't fear you Jedi." John pulled her sabers out of her hand as he said, "You are strong in the dark side young one. But you're not THAT strong. If I was able to get these out of your hands with a simple pull, you still have much to learn. But that won't happen before the Count betrays you."
John tossed her lightsabers back to Ventress as he said, "I highly suggest you surrender now." Ventress slowly clipped her lightsabers to her, before pulling out a detonator and King Katuunko's ship the Thief's Eye, blew up. As Rock and debris came down, John and Master Yoda used the force to stop the avalanche from crushing them as Ventress got into her ship and powered it up to escape. Afterwards, Yoda walked to the hologram of Count Dooku and said, "In the end, cowards are those who follow the dark side." Count Dooku replied with, "It's a pity I wasn't there in person, my old master." and Master Yoda said, "A pity indeed, my fallen apprentice." Count Dooku then ended the transmission. While Master Yoda and King Katuunko talked, John walked over to the two blasted clankers and a thought crossed his head. That was when a fleet of Venators jumped in and a LAAT gunship landed. When the doors opened up, Ash, Dawn, May, Max, Serena, Misty, and Gary all came rushing out as Dawn hugged John.
"Master Jedi, you have my faith. Toydaria will be honored to host a republic base. My people are at your service." the King then offered Yoda the saber he had brought with him, Yoda took it with honor and said, "Your Majesty, fail you we will not." Meanwhile, John had several of his gunships gather up the blasted and destroyed battledroids and the three tanks to be brought onto his flagship that he renamed the blastoise. In the main hangar of the Blastoise, John looked at the droids when several clones walked up to him from all three Legions under his command and the lead clone said, "You asked for us sir?" John smiled and said, "I did wrench. I've decided that we're going to implement droids into the legions. These Battle droids will fight for the Republic Following my commands only." Wrench hesitated but he said, "You sure that's wise sir?" John nodded his head and said, "I know what I am doing trooper. Get to work on patching these droids, we've got a stop to make." When Wrench asked where they were going, John told him, "Kamino." Wrench nodded his head and led the clones to begin the work.
Later, John led his friends through the cloning facilities and met the head cloner, Lama Su. John and his friends sat across from Lama Su as John said, "The inhibitor chips, remove them from my Legions." Before Lama Su could ask why, Ash handed him a Datapad showing him the future of what was to come for the Kaminoans. Lama Su was horrified before saying, "How do I know this is all true and not made by you?" John told him, "Cause we know about order 66. Only Darth Sidious knows about it and so does Dooku." Lama Su sighed and said, "Very well… I will remove the inhibitor chips." John nodded his head and said, "Good, and I wanna watch you do it to ALL the clones under my command. No word is to get to the Council or the Republic." Lama Su nodded his head and had a room prepared in the city, but John said, "no, On the ship." Lama Su nodded his head and they went to John's flagship to begin the chip removal of all the clones under his command.
