Yamato raised an eyebrow at the girl as she swallowed what she was chewing on.

"I know you heard me! I asked you what're you doing eating our stuff?!"

"I was hungry. My bad."

The girl tilted her head before raising her brow.

"In that case, you could've just asked, you know."

The girl looked over at Yamato again before speaking.

"What's with the horns?"

"I was born with them."

"Huh? Now you're lying. No one's born with horns."

"Well, I was okay."

"Whatever, what's your name?"

Yamato stood up and balled her hand into a fist before slamming it into her chest.

"I'm Kouzuki Oden!"

There was a pregnant pause.

"Liar."

"Seriously!"

"Oden is a boy's name and you're not a boy. You're just a lying girl with fake horns and using a boy's name."

"I'm not a liar you dumb brat!"

"I'm not a dumb brat. Apologize."

Yamato pouted before turning her head.

"No, I won't you brat."

"Stop calling me that!"

"No."

"Fine, Oden's a dumb name anyway."

At this Yamato's anger spiked.

"Take it back."

"Huh?"

"I said… Take it back!"

Yamato then lunged at Uta and the two girls started fighting on deck in the open involving grabbing and name calling unaware that a group of people were approaching. Shanks and the rest of the red-haired pirates had come back to the ship to see Uta fighting some kid with horns on deck.

"Uh, captain? Shouldn't we stop this?"

Ben asked, turning to Shanks.

"Nah. We'll get involved if it gets too serious."

"We may have to interfere soon then."

Yasopp pointed to the deck as the two kids had started to pull hair and even bite which led the crew to get involved.

Ben easily separated the kids as Shanks grabbed his daughter while Lucky Roo grabbed Yamato as she was trying to struggle free.

"Uta. Why're you picking fights with random kids?"

"Shanks. I wasn't plus this liar attacked me first."

"That's because you called me a liar and the name of Oden stupid!"

At the mention of Oden Shanks, he turned his head immediately.

"Now how do you know Oden?"
"How do you know him? Hmm, old man?"

Uta shouted.

"Don't insult my dad, you dumb liar!"

"Why you!"

The two girls attempted to break free and go at it again but they were being firmly held in place.

"Uta don't antagonize her."

"But Shanks…"

Shanks then turned his attention back to Yamato.

"Now you asked how I know Oden right?"

Yamato nodded.

"He was a part of Rogers's crew just like me."

At this Yamato's eyes became stars as she did a big gasp.

"T-Then you're a part of the crew he spoke of in his logbook! I didn't know I was meeting a legend like you."

Shanks laughed a bit.

"Now how do you know Oden?"

"I saw his execution and he became someone I wanted to be."

"Wait execution?"

"Yeah, my stupid gorilla father took over Wano and made it hell then executed Oden!"

Shanks lowered his head as he gritted his teeth and clenched his teeth, a sight that didn't go unnoticed by his crew and Uta.

Shanks raised his head.

"I see. You said your dad executed Oden right?"

"Yeah."

"Who is he?"

"Kaido."

*GASP*

Shanks's eyes went wide and the rest of the crew were shocked while Uta looked confused. The crew started murmuring amongst themselves while Shanks gave Yamato a once-over.

"I see. I didn't see it at first but you do have a resemblance to that man."

Yamato then slightly raised her voice.

"He was a terrible father! He killed Oden and then burned his house down. I tried to help his family but I failed. After that, I tried my best to get out of Onigashima and liberate Wano but I failed again then my father locked me away and chained me to a rock with nothing to eat."

The rest of the red-haired pirates were shocked after hearing the story even more so at Kaido's cruelty to his kid while Shanks didn't look as shocked since that sounded like something Kaido would do.

"Hongo."

"Yeah, Shanks?"

"Give Yamato an examination, and then we'll go from there."

"Got it, Captain."

Lucky Roo set Yamato down as Hongo approached her and extended a hand.

"It's okay, I'm a doctor."

Yamato was hesitant but she could see in his eyes he meant her no harm or ill-will so she took his hand and he led her to his office on the ship. As Yamato followed Hongo inside the ship Ben put Uta down as the little girl looked down, her hair shadowing her eyes.

"Everything okay Uta?"

Uta didn't respond to Ben for a half-second before she responded.

"How…How could her dad do that to her? Not to mention I kept calling her a liar. I was so mean to her."

"That's true Uta. So what do you think you should do now?"

Uta looked up at Shanks who just smiled at her as she walked away.

"Shanks if she's Kiado's kid then you don't think…"

"No, not likely Ben. Knowing Kaido if he's as Yamato described then he probably isn't leaving Wano anytime soon. I doubt he'd leave to go look for her so we should be fine."

"Alright, Captain. I assume we're still keeping course with the original plan?"

"Yeah, Ben even with the arrival of Yamato nothing's changed."

Hongo's Office

During the entire examination, Yamato followed Hongo's instructions before the doctor of the red-haired pirates gave his diagnosis.

"Okay, Yamato."

Yamato pouted at the man.

"Sorry, Oden. My diagnosis is that you're gonna need a steady diet since you're slightly malnourished, mainly proteins and carbs with water."

"Thanks so much, Hongo-san."

"No problem, it's my job as a doctor."

*KNOCK. KNOCK.*

Both Hongo and Yamato turned to the door before Hongo answered.

"Come in."

The door opened revealing Uta.

"Hongo-san? Can I talk to Yamato alone for a second?"

"Sure thing Uta."

Hongo left, leaving both girls alone in the doctor's office.

"Hey again."

"Hi."

"S-So listen about before I wanna say I'm sorry."

Yamato tilted her head in confusion as Uta kept going.

"I'm sorry I called you a liar too."

"It's okay."

"What do you mean it's okay? I was mean to you and called you a lair."

"I know but you didn't know me and I get it."

Uta then held her hand out to Yamato.

"I'm Uta. Nice to meet you."

Yamato smiled as she shook her hand.

"I'm Yamato but you may refer to me as Kozuki Oden!"

Uta chuckled.

"Sure."

As the two girls went back on deck they were greeted by Shanks.

"Well, looks like you two patched things up relatively quickly. So, Yamato since you have nowhere to go…wanna join my crew?"

Yamato's eyes became stars as she looked up at Shanks with nothing but joy present in her orange eyes.

"Of course, I'll join your crew Shanks-kichi."

Shanks looked at Yamato in surprise as an image of Oden appeared over young Yamato making the captain of the red-haired pirates smile.

"In that case. Everyone, let's give a red-haired pirate welcome to the newest member of the crew, Yamato!"

The entire crew let out a loud cheer as they started a celebration as Yamato couldn't stop smiling.

"Yamato."

The Oni girl turned to Uta who was smiling.

"Since you just joined the crew I'll sing one song of your request. Be grateful that the diva of the red-hair pirates is letting you make a request."

Yamato's smile grew to a point where her face would break.

"Really Uta? You mean it?"

"Of course. I'd never go back on my word. What?"

Yamato adorably looked away as she kept pressing her two pointer fingers together before she made her request.

"I-If it's not too much trouble Uta. C-Could you maybe sink Binks Brew? Oden mentioned it in his logbook and he loved it so I wanna hear it for myself."

Uta smiled wide as she held Yamato's hands.

"Sure. That's an easy one."

Uta walked over and got up on one of the crates.

"Everyone! Our newest crewmate made a request."

"What song is our diva gonna sing today?"

"Let's hear it, Uta!"

"Yeah, I can't wait!"

Uta then tapped the back of her boot multiple times giving herself a beat before she started.

"Alright, Uta!"

"Great pick Yamato!"

"Let's not sit here boys and give our diva some accompaniment!"

The rest of the red-haired pirates started singing along with Uta as Yamato moved her head along with the beat.

"Gather up all of the crew, it's time to ship out Binks' brew.

As Yamato heard the crew sing along she felt her heart soar at their joy as she tried her best to sing along with her new crew.

The crew sang the chorus again along with Uta as Shanks watched the whole thing with a smile.

Shanks began to reminisce as he remembered the days apart of Rogers's crew and the joy it brought him along with Oden, Buggy, and Rayleigh. He returned from his reminiscing to see that during the song Yamato had grabbed Monster the monkey partner of Monster punch and the two had started dancing together.

'Despite what Kadio put her through she can still smile like that. I'm glad.'

The crew sang the last part of the song together with Uta. Shanks had joined along as towards the end all the crew raised their hands in the air as the song filled them all with nothing but joy.

With the song concluded everyone laughed and remarked at how well Uta sang the song as Yamato was practically on the verge of tears with the crew, Uta, and Shanks concerned until the girl said she was just so happy to have finally heard the song and be a part of such an amazing crew to which everyone grabbed the little girl and joyfully began tossing her in the air as Yamato realized that she had found a place to call home.

Yamato's adventures apart from the Red-Haired were amazing for the little Oni girl. During her travels, she had gotten along with everyone very well but the person Yamato had bonded with the most was Uta. Both the Diva and the Oni had gotten so close they'd become sisters joined at the hip so much so that members of the crew called the duo Oni-Musica. Yamato had never been this happy when she was trapped in Wano under Kaido's thumb as her travels took her out of the New World and into the other half of the Grand Line which many pirates called paradise. One day when they were out at sea Yamato fell overboard but she never swam back up leading to Shanks diving in after her and pulling her back up aboard the ship. This then led Shanks to question if Yamato knew how to swim which she replied she never needed to since she never left Wano Shanks then asked her if she ate a devil fruit since that'd be the only other thing that would have her sink like a rock when she fell in the ocean. Yamato explained that she had eaten a fruit during her time when she was chained to a rock but it was gross nonetheless she had eaten the entire fruit to ease her hunger despite its taste. Yamato was then asked if she remembered what it looked like as she was handed paper and something to draw with as she did her best to draw the fruit from memory. What she had drawn was a round and somewhat flat fruit that looked like a persimmon with little fishhook patterns on it On top of the fruit she had also drawn a set of leaves and a stem that swirled upwards. Shanks had gotten one look at it and confirmed that it was a devil fruit unfortunately he had no idea what kind it was however he gave Yamato a pat on the head and told her not to worry about it. Yamato smiled at her captain as she went to go find and hang out with Uta.

Foosha Villiage

The red-haired pirates had finally made port as the residents of the small town began murmuring to themselves over the concern of pirates arriving at their small town here in the East Blue. Yamato looked over the side of the ship at the town her orange eyes wide.

"Wow. I've never seen a town like this. Isn't it cool Uta?"

"Nah. It's just a small town. Nothing to write home about Yamato."

"What do you mean? Visiting somewhere new is always amazing."

"Yamato's right Uta. You can't just write anything off because it looks unimpressive. Besides spots like these are a blessing for pirates like us who travel for long periods."

As Shanks, Uta, and Yamato were talking a loud voice interrupted them.

"Hey! Are you guys Pirates?!"

The trio looked to the source of the shouting and on the dock was a kid with black hair, black eyes, red shorts, sandals, and a white shirt with the word ANCHOR on it with a picture of an Anchor behind the word.

Uta answered the boy.

"So what if we are?"

"Then you have to leave."

"Oh yeah? You gonna make us?"

"M-Maybe."

Then Yamato jumped off the ship and ran to the boy to his confusion.

"So you guys do wanna fight then!"

However, anyone could tell the kid was shaking out of fear but then to his surprise, Yamato stuck her hand out to him.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Kozuki Oden!"

Although he was reluctant at first he reached his arm out and grabbed her hand.

"I'm Luffy."

Land of Wano: Onigashima

After Kaido had returned from an expedition he'd called the All-Stars and two of his newer recruits together as everyone was now waiting for their commander to arrive they were discussing the reason for their summon amongst each other.

"So why do you think the commander called us together?"

"It's obvious Black Maria. It's because Sasaki didn't notice Yamato aboard his ship and she escaped."

Sasaki glared at Queen.

"Keep quiet. Besides I didn't see you keep an eye out for her if anything this falls on all of us."

"Huh? Watch who you're talking to. I'm an All-Star so start showing me respect."

Queen said to Sasaki.

Jack crossed his arms before he started talking.

"The better question is why we're just sitting here. You think Kiado is going to have us search the New World for him?"

There was quiet between the five members of the beast pirates before King spoke up from his criss-cross position

"I disagree with you on that Jack. I doubt Kaido's going to have us search the New World for him.

Before anyone else could say anything in response to King Kaido entered the room. His massive figure dwarfed everyone in the room. He took a seat shaking the room as he drank Sake straight from the bottle.

"So I hear my bull-headed son escaped Wano aboard your ship Sasaki."

"Yeah, commander it is but I didn't know she'd even gotten aboard."

"Probably cause you were too drunk to check."

"Quit trying to instigate Queen."

"Sorry King but I don't take orders from a pervert."

"What'd you say?!"

Kaido then slammed the sake bottle down getting everyone's attention making the room go quiet with a pregant pause until…

"Worororo!"

Kaido started laughing to the confusion of everyone present before he took another swig of Sake.

"No need to waste resources looking for him since he's probably already left the new world but it doesn't matter. Go out in the world and get as strong as you want Yamato cause when you come back to this country I'm dragging you back to Onigashima by your hair and making you the new Shogun of Wano! Worororo!"

The rest of the Beast-Pirates agreed and started laughing along with their captain for they agreed with him. All they'd have to do was wait and let Yamato return on her own then Kaido would make her Shogun whether she wanted to or not.
