Chapter 21

"Hey Midoriya, What really happened during your internship?" Peter asks his friend, who stops mid curl.

Izuku's eyes get shifty as he stammers, "Wha-What do you mean?"

Peter scrolls through the feed in his phone as he absentmindedly replies, "I mean a lot more people are talking about this Stain guy and some speech he made when he saved a 'green haired UA student from the clutches of a winged Nomu'." He raises an eyebrow as he glances at his friend, "So far you and that plant girl from 1B are the only people I can remember off the top of my head who have green hair and are enrolled in UA."

Izuku's hand snaps to his hair before he smacks it down. He was about to lie or change the subject before he remembers that this was Peter, his friend, and so far the only one who knows about One for All. If there's anyone who he could confide in, it's Peter. Said teen is unaware of his inner monologue and says, "I was just worried man, you don't have to say anything if you don't want to."

Izuku stops him, "Actually I do."

Surprised Peter asks, "You wanna talk about it?"

"Yea… But first, let me show you something?"

Peter mumbles an ok as Izuku goes to his PC and brings up the Hero Killers speech that has since gone viral, "The word 'Hero' has lost all meaning in this society. The world is overrun by fakes and criminals like you who chase petty dreams. You must all be purged. Everything that I do…. Is to create a stronger society. Peter watches in trepidation as Stain saves Midoriya from a nomu and is then confronted by Endeavor. Even through the screen he can practically feel this mans killing intent as he stalks towards the number 2 hero despite his injuries. " You false hero! I'll make this right. These streets must run with the blood of hypocrites! … Hero!... I will reclaim that word! Come on! Just try and stop me you fakes! There's only one man I'll let kill me. He is a true hero!... All Might is worthy!"

Then suddenly he stops, not a single muscle moves. Peter stares slack jawed for a moment before uttering, "Geez what a total wack job."

Midoriya sweat drops but hides a smile nonetheless. The smile drops as Peter looks at the screen and then to Midoriya, then back and forth and back an forth again. It looks like a lightbulb went off as the foreigners eyes pop open and he shrieks, "You're the one who took him down aren't you!"

Izuku quickly clamps his hand over Peter's mouth as he desperately tries to shush him! "Don't scream! I don't want my mom to find out or your aunt!"

Izuku pauses then yanks his hand back in disgust, "Did you just lick my hand!?"

"Did you just put your hand over my mouth!?"

The two stare at each other before devolving into good-natured laughter. As it dies down Peter asks again, "It was you, Iida, and Todoroki wasn't it?"

"How'd you figure it out?"

Peter shrugs, "You guys kept giving each other weird looks every. Single. Time someone mentioned Stain. That and also the guy was pretty bent on killing fake heroes but he saved you instead. There had to be something more to it. Plus in the video it looked like Endeavor just appeared, so unless he fought Stain, left, then came back… he wasn't the one who really took him down."

"You really are smart aren't you Parker-san?"

"You doubted I was?" Peter teases.

Izuku stammers in reply but Peter chuckles him off, "Just Teasin."

"Heh, yea I should've figured."

"I'm glad you're alright."

Izuku rubs his arm, something Peter notices and he groans, "Again?! I thought you figured out how to use one for all without breaking your bones!"

"No no no no, This wasn't that! It's just, he was good with knives, he stabbed me but thankfully it was shallow and missed anything important."

"Oh. Ok good."

"… What do you think?"

"About what?"

"About what Stain said. There's been a lot of people talking about it. There's a lot of people who agree with him. I know shouldn't have, but I researched his motives. He believes that heroes should be self-sacrificing, and seek no compensation, only protecting the weak. That too many people become heroes just for the fame and fortune and end up abusing their powers just to get what they want." Izuku says, his eyes downcast.

"What do you think?" His friend asks.

Izuku half smiles, "I asked you first."

"Tch… In a way, I think he's right. There's a lot of heroes that are in it just cause they want to see their faces on billboards or make money. Hell my Uncle Ben used to talk about how Johnny Storm used to be back when he was our age." Peter explains carefully.

"I guess we both can understand the appeal because we both have been quirkless for most of our lives. We know what the world is really like, and how even people who're supposed to be good guys can abuse the power they have without consequence especially if their impressive enough."

The pair remembers their respective bullies and how none of the authority figures in their lives did anything about it.

"I don't think he's wrong to feel that way, there's plenty wrong in how the world is, a lot of people are angry and want change, he's not the only villain or hero to think that for that matter." Peter thinks of what he spoke about with his mentor. "But that doesn't mean he was right either. No matter what, I don't think it's ever right to take a life. If you do, then you end up being just as bad as the people you hate." Peter whispers, remembering how he almost made that choice when he went after his Uncle's killer.

"Yea you're right." Izuku mumbles, still looking downcast.

Peter bumps his friends shoulder, "Come on I know you've got more to say than that, that big brain of yours is always working!"

"I guess I was sad for him. Ultimately he wanted to do the right thing for everyone, he saw something wrong in the world and wanted to fix it but no one would listen. I- I know what that's like. And I'm kinda worried cause in a way I agree with him too, he looks up to All Might so much because he considers him to be the definition of what a hero should be. I… I was scared because I felt like I was too similar to him. I could've gone down the same path as him." He stops himself before he continues, but Peter can guess what his friend was going to say.

"If you're scared that you're gonna turn into him, I can guarantee you right now it'll never happen."

"What makes you so sure?" Izuku asks, truly wondering.

Peter shrugs, "Faith, Midoriya. I got Faith in you."

Once again Izuku is touched by his friends belief in him, his eyes tearing with emotions. "Have you guys ever gotten dehydrated from how much you cry?"

Izuku shoves him off the chair, making the two laugh once again. As it dies down Peter decides he should return the favor. "You know, you guys aren't the only ones who had an eventful Internship."

Interested, Izuku asks him what happened. And Peter goes on to explain everything, including everything that happened after the bridge, minus his little chat with The Tinkerer. He does feel pangs of guilt at keeping hidden those secrets especially after Izuku had confided in Peter completely about his experience as well as what he felt. Truly the queens native would love to tell his friend everything, but ashamedly, he still hasn't worked up the courage to doing so. Too cowardly, he scolds himself.

"Wow!" Izuku takes out his notebook and quickly flips to the pages he's dedicated to his friend, "Your spider sense is insane to get you out of the center of a collapsing building. I actually thought of a few theories about it too. My original working theory was that your spider sense was your fight or flight response elevating all 5 of your senses to the point it makes your brain the focal point of an entire layout of your surroundings, similar to a radar. But now I'm starting to suspect it might actually be precognition which would—"

"Explain how I'm able to move safely to evade before an attack can be done. Unless I ignore my spider-sense." Peter supplies.

Having been friends with Midoriya long enough, not only is he capable of picking up on his muttering but even accurately guess where his train of thought is going… at least most of the time. Izuku stops writing and gives Peter a weird look.

"You can ignore your spider sense? You actually ignore your spider sense?"

"Sometimes if the tingle ain't that strong I'll think it's nothing much to worry about like when I fought Harada, I almost disregarded my spider sense until he threw chunks of concrete like explosive rounds." Peter shivers at the memory of the sports festival. "Or if it's not a strong enough tingle and I'm caught up in something, even my own thoughts, I won't even realize my spider sense is going off until it's too late."

"Oh ok so on the flipside, if the severity of the spider sense is more intense—"

"Then my body will instinctively move on its own."

Izuku goes to ask another question until his phone rings an alarm. He looks at the screen and sees his free time is up. "Sorry Parker-san, I have to go!"

"Already?"

"Yea," He rubs his neck self-consciously, "The Training Regime All Might gives me even has my sleep schedule planned out for me. And the last time I went off the rails on that one…"

"You know what, I think it's better I don't know Midoriya."

"You're probably right."

Peter smiles and bids him farewell after walking him to the door. Peter walks back to the living room where Aunt May was watching the news. Instead watching the coverage of the Hosu City riots, she's instead watching the news coverage of Colonel John Jameson who's floating outside of his space shuttle trying to perform repairs on the damaged shielding's that had taken a beating after being caught in the midst of a meteor shower. Peter watches as the Anchor explains the current situation:

"Although colonel John Jameson maintains his sense of humor, the real question remains: will the shuttle be able to safely make an emergency landing? The damaged heat shield coupled with the loss of the shuttles' navigational computer greatly increases the hazard. Now Colonel Jameson has only one chance to bring his crew home—"

Aunt May shuts the Tv off, not wanting to hear anymore. Sensing some tension Peter decides to try and break the ice, "Boy sure hope there's an auto shop somewhere up there!"

Aunt May stares at the brunette deadpan making him sigh in defeat. "Insensitive?"

"Distasteful."

"Sorry."

"S'ok."

Seeing her stiffly walk towards the kitchen to get a drink Peter asks hesitantly, "Is something bothering you?"

Her eyes watering she informs Peter, "Tony told me everything Peter."

"OH…. Oh."

She stops him before he tries to give her an explanation, "I just want to start off by saying that I could not be more proud of you for saving all those people and stopping those criminals, you did great and you've shown how much of a hero you can be… But you also showed how careless you can be too!"

Her quivering voice stops any denial that would've escaped his lips. She seems to be struggling to keep herself calm as she continues, "Peter Tony told me that you went in and were nearly taken! They took your blood! Peter how you could you be so irresponsible! So careless! You-you could've di—di-"

She puts her hands over her eyes, a choked sob escaping underneath and Peter rushes to hug her, his own eyes beginning to water with unshed tears. "Peter I know I told you to be a hero, but that doesn't mean you should go in to any dangerous situation without a second thought! It's almost the anniversary of Ben's death and I find out I could've lost you too!"

Thank god Peter is hugging her because at that moment her knees give out as she sobs onto his shoulders. His chest burns with sorrow at the state of his Aunt and knowing that it's because of his own doing that has lead to her pain. He berates himself bitterly, he should've thought everything through. It truly was pure luck that he escaped from The enforcers hideout, he was in their grasp. The only reason Norman doesn't have his hands on Peter now is because of Tinkerer's greed got the best of him. Dread fills him as he realizes that he could've left his Aunt all alone all because he was too careless. He was also careless of her own feelings, because she's in this mess too, she lost ben too and she lives in fear of Osborn too. And yet he was so caught up in his own misery and feelings her forgot to take hers into account. Once again I bring her nothing but pain. His eyes brim with unshed tears, "I'm sorry Aunt May!" He whimpers.

"I'm so sorry!"

Eventually their mutual sob slows down to only sniffles and Aunt May chortles, "Sorry for the trauma dump."

"It's ok. It looked like you needed it. And you were right Aunt May, I… Should've done better." He faces her with a serious expression, "I'm gonna be better. I promise."

She ruffles his hair lovingly; "You're already the best. Just, please think more often, you got the big brain of yours for a reason right?"

"Hahaha, yea I do. I love you Aunt May."

She hugs him tightly, "I love you too sweetie."

The Next day

"Alright, that's it for class today. There's only one week left before your final exams begin. I'm sure you're all studying constantly…Right?"

"Yes Mr Aizawa!" The class replies in unison.

"Don't forget to keep training. The written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about." Ereaserhead walks to the door, throwing a, "Good Luck." Over his shoulder as he leaves.

Not a second later, Mina and Kaminari both yell, "I've barely even taken notes this semester!" Though, Peter amusedly notes, Mina looked happy and relaxed while Kaminari is the exact opposite.

"Let me guess, you haven't studied either?" Kirishima teases his electric friend.

He grips his hair and groans, "With the sports Festival and internships happening back to back, I didn't have time to read the textbook."

"But everyone else did." Peter notes, earning a smoldering glare.

"Uh heheh, sorry. Not helpful."

Tokoyami clears his throat, "Kaminari does have a point in that we haven't had much free time as we would've liked."

Mineta smugly rests on his shoulders as he watches his classmates have various reactions to the upcoming final exams, "As someone ranked in the top ten, I'm not that concerned."

"You should be more concerned about whatever upcoming sexual harassment suit you'll be facing." Peter mutters with a glare. Though Momo and Toru hear him and both grunt in agreement, glaring at the perverted midget.

Confused, Kaminari checks the school log on his phone with Mina peeking over his shoulders and the pair are appalled by what they see. "What you're 9th in the midterms?!"

Mina glowers, "Aw man and here I thought you were one of us!"

"You wanted him to be?" Peter's question is ignored.

"Don't you know weirdo little creeps like you are only likeable if they're kinda stupid?!"

Peter stops what he's doing and shares a look with Jiro and asks, "What kinda messed up logic is that?!"

"Don't try to understand Jamming whey's thinking Parker, you'll catch his stupid." Jiro says while rubbing her forehead.

Kaminari rolls his eyes, "Not all of us can get to second in the class Parker!"

Mina bumps amicably into Momo as she teases, "You know, if Peter didn't have his language barrier problem he'd probably be in the number 1 spot instead of you!"

Momo isn't at all bothered by this as she replies, "You might actually be right. Parker-kun is nothing if not brilliant." Beaming amicably at the subject of their discussion.

"I don't know about that Yaoyorozu-kun, I can't memorize half the things you've been able to, plus you've beaten me to an answer more than once." He praises her right back.

"Please, between us I'd say you're the quick thinker."

The two don't realize that Mina and Toru both watch them gush about each other in amusement and thinking the same thing, we'll file this for later!

Deku tries cheering Kaminari up by letting him know that there's still plenty of time to study for the test. With Momo sweetly offering, "If you two would like, I can catch you up to speed on the important topics, i-if you want?"

Their eyes practically turn into stars as they exclaim, "You're the best Yaomomo!"

Peter beams at the raven haired beauty until she suddenly drops into a despair like state, "I'm afraid I won't be any help when it comes to the practical though."

He purses his lips as he sees that she's still suffering from self doubt, wishing he could do more to help. Jiro appears and shyly asks, "I've been studying too, but could you help me out? I'm having some trouble understanding quadratic functions."

Sero follows, clasping his hands as he begs, "Tutor me please! Classical Japanese is killing me!"

"Imagine how I feel!" Peter moans.

"Oh yea that's right, remembering how bad you are with Japanese kinda gives me a boost in confidence with my chances now." Sero teases.

Peter pouts then sticks his tongue out, "Never thought I'd see the day, Peter can't think of a comeback!" Mina laughs, along with some of the students then she turns back to Momo, "Soooooo is that a yes?!"

Her earlier sadness was completely forgotten as Momo graciously accepts, "This is wonderful! Yes let's do it!"

She grins brightly at Peter who, mesmerized by her radiance, returns the smile with just as much gusto. "Peter you should come too!"

Remembering the less the stellar meeting with her father, Peter is justifiably apprehensive about it. "R-Really? You sure that's a good idea?"

"Of course! We can hold a study session at my residence over the weekend!" Stars shining in her eyes.

… Dammit I can't say no to her.

"Seriously!? I can't wait to see your fancy digs!" Mina exclaims happily.

With her classmates sharing in her enthusiasm, Momo shines even brighter as she begins to list off everything to be done. "I must call Mother and have her prepare the great hall for us to set up; it'll be the perfect spot! What kind of tea does everyone like!? I'll have her make sure we're stocked! In my family we always drink Harrods or Wedgewood, so if you have any other preference, let me know!"

She keeps going, completely unaware of her classmates being overwhelmed by the glaring differences in their lifestyles. Noticing this Peter steps in, placatingly grabbing momo's hand, "Hey Yaoyorozu, we appreciate the enthusiasm, really we do, but maybe, uh, maybe give everyone a chance to process."

Finally aware of the far off look her friends have she quickly apologizes, "It's ok! We know you'll be a great hostess!" Mina tells her.

The others give varying affirmations, none deciding to comment the fact that the two resident geniuses are still holding hands or their resulting embarrassment once they realized it themselves as the bell for lunch rang. Momo feels the most embarrassed and quickly rushes out with Jiro leaving Peter to join Izuku to the cafeteria. "Smooth Parker, real smooth." He grumbles to himself, pointedly ignoring the smirks from his classmates.

"You know I'm kinda scared about the practical. I have no idea what it's gonna be." Izuku admits.

"My money's gonna be on something life threateningly dangerous." Peter surmises.

Iida chops the air disapprovingly, "Are you insinuating that our esteemed staff does not consider our safety a top priority!?"

"Come on Iida you gotta admit I have a point I mean the entrance exam alone had us fighting giant death robots for crying out loud!" Peter argues.

"He does have a point. Ribbit. But we are learning to become heroes so training to face dangerous situations would be expected." Explains the frog quirked girl.

"True, but it is hard to believe they'd give us anything too crazy."

"At least we know that the easiest part of the finals will definitely be the written portion." Peter says.

Ochaco shakes slightly, having become nervous thanks to the worries brought onto them by the foreign student. "Do you really think it's going to be that simple?"

"God I hope so!"

"I just wanna know what they'll have us doing." Izuku says with a mouth full of food.

"Let's look at what we know from the little Mr Aizawa has told us," Toru says, "It's supposed to be a comprehensive test of everything we learned this year right?"

Uraraka's eyes spark, "Oh so that means it should cover combat training and rescue training. Oh and basic training too."

"All things we can't just study for, we have to stay in great physical shape too."

Peter was gonna say something but instead shoots his arm out behind Izuku's head, blocking the elbow check Monoma was about to give the green haired student.

"Oh great, this guy again." He grumbles. "Coming here to continue compensating?"

Monoma glowers, "I was on my way to my table but this poor boys head is so big it's gravitational pull brought me here."

"With the size of your ego I'm surprised you can consider anything bigger than an ant. Well aside from your—"

"Parker! That's no way to talk to your fellow schoolmates!" Iida admonishes.

"He started it!"

"Typical Class 1A attitude. Always looking for someway to justify any conflict to feed your hunger for glory. Like your run in with the hero killer Stain."

The mention of the villain makes Iida stiffen like a statue and bring a gasp out of Izuku. Monoma smirks, "Just like in the sports festival, Class 1A isn't happy unless they're the center of attention. But you do realize you're not in the spotlight because people think you're good heroes right? It's just that you keep getting into so much trouble."

"Trouble follows us like a certain pesky blonde moth. But I won't say any names." Peter quips.

Monoma turns his glare to the brunette then smirks, "Oh don't get me started on you. I mean talk about a terrible start, collapsing a bridge as you fumble after a villain. Tell me how many people got hurt because of you?"

Peter tightens his hold on his utensils, warping the metal as he takes a controlling breath, and trying to ignore the guilt gnawing his chest. "Thankfully no one was hurt—"

"This time. I wonder what'll happen the next time!"

Peter stands up and gets right in front of Monoma, "Pe—"

"It's ok Midoriya I'm not gonna do anything." Peter promises.

Monoma smirks, "Are you sure? I can see your hands twitching, you must be itching to hit me aren't you? Go ahead and show everyone here just how unheroic you really are."

Peter stares at the blonde for a long time before smirking and offering his hand, "I think we've all gotten on the wrong foot, how about we start over? My names Peter Parker, how're you doing?"

The student from Class 1B stares at his hand in disgust before turning away, "Like I'd ever dirty my hands- WAAAHH!"

Monoma suddenly falls, with his face crashing into the food on his tray. Some of the students here the commotion and laugh as they see monoma laying face down into his tray. Izuku notices rapidly dissolving webs at his feet, giving the impression that he simply tripped on himself. The teen hides his smirk as he sees Peter secretly wink at him from the corner of his eye.

"You ok there bud?"

Monoma growls, his fist raised as he grabs Peter by the collar, "Why you little—"

A hand suddenly chops his neck and he falls to the ground. "That's enough Monoma, stop trying to cause a fight before you get all of us in trouble and you know what happened to Iida, none of it was their fault!"

"Kendo!" Iida greets.

She gives them a sorry smile, "I apologize for him. I'm pretty sure there's a hole where his heart should be." She turns to Peter, "And I'm sorry he keeps antagonizing you, ever since the Sports Festival he's been weirdly fixated on you."

Right, cause his quirk wouldn't work on me. "It's-it's fine, also remind me not to get on your bad side, ya got a mean chop!"

"I'll pray you never have to experience it firsthand!"

Peter nervously laughs as he takes his seat back next to Izuku, "By the way, I was listening and I know you're all worried about what's going to be on the big final practical, but don't be. From what I heard it's supposed to be combat against the robots just like in the entrance exam."

"What really?" Izuku asks.

"How do you know that?" Iida asks.

"I called it!" Peter throws a fist up, and notices everyone staring so he awkwardly sits back down feeling embarrassed.

Giggling, kendo replies, "One of my friends who's a few grades up filled me in. I know, cheating but oh well."

"No I don't think so." Midoriya says.

"Yea I mean it's like she gave you the answers to all the questions on the finals exam, if anything it's the equivalent of her giving her study notes." Peter assures her.

Monoma chooses that moment to awaken as he glares up t his classmate, who's still holding him by the collar. "What kind of idiot are you, Kendo? You just gave away our whole strategic advantage! This was our chance to finally pull ahead of that class full of idio—Gah!" Kendo chops him again.

"They're not the idiots." Kendo growls through gritted teeth.

"I know a healthy dose of competiveness helps push us all to do our best, but why does it feel like everyone takes it to the absolute extreme in this school." The American teen asks.

"I wish I could tell you. Embarrassingly enough, I was the same way at one point." Iida admits.

"Hey Parker, how did you get your webs to dissolve so quick?" his neighbor asks.

"What webs?" Uraraka wonders.

Peter gives Izuku a withering glare as he ignores the burning gaze Iida is giving him to the side of his head, "I… I may have webbed his feet to the ground which caused him to fall."

"That was you!?" Toru laughs.

"Parker!"

"I'm sorry ok!? He was just getting on my nerves!"

"You still shouldn't cause bodily harm to your classmates!"

"Tell that to Kendo, I think her constantly knocking him is what's making him go so crazy what with all the dying brain cells. And to answer your question Midoriya, I was tweaking my web shooters a bit in support. Felt like they were too tight so I adjusted them until they were secure but comfortable and ended up forgetting that I was still wearing them. Plus I've been trying to make the web fluid stronger but the new mix ends up dissolving in seconds instead of the usual hour. Though it did turn out 3 times stronger than normal so at least I know I'm on the right path!"

"You're really an enigma Parker-kun." Asui notes.

"How so?"

"You go back and forth between pessimism and optimism frequently. Ribbit."

"… Well I can't argue against that. I guess when it comes to science I can anticipate when something good will happen."

"Don't you regularly experience something blowing up in the support studio?" Uraraka asks.

"N-Not my doing!"

The teens enjoy their lunch in comfortable silence and were preparing to return to class when Iida stops Peter, "A word if you please Parker-kun."

"What's up?"

"I didn't have a chance to thank you and apologize. I realize now what you were trying to do for me and you were right. I almost made the choice that would've changed me. Actually it did, and i'm ashamed for it." He bows.

"It's ok , we're all only human."

"But we're trying to be heroes. I'll do all I can to be the hero, the man, my brother would be proud of. And I hope I can count on you on for my journey."

"Always, Iida, Always."

The Yaoyorozu Residence

Standing in front of the massive gates leading to the mansion stood 6 teenagers, 5 of which were awestruck by the luxurious lifestyle of their classmate. "Wooooooow! I knew her family had cash, but I didn't know she was this rich!" Kaminari remarks.

"How come you aren't that shocked Parker?" Jiro asks.

He shrugs, "She's not the first friend I had who was rich, although she's the first one who doesn't flaunt it whenever she can."

Mina rings the bell and barely removes her finger when Momo turns the speaker on, "I've been waiting for you, everyone!" The gate opens, "Please come in!"

The teens were met with security who, while giving Peter the stink eye, escort them inside the massive mansion. The 1A students gape as they walk the massive halls, seeing paintings and other accessories they couldn't dream of every affording. They're brought to the hall where a large and long wooden table sat in the middle of the room. They all take their seats with Ojiro silently stating, "I could not feel any more out of place right now. How did you deal with this growing up Parker?"

"You just have to get used to it I suppose."

The doors open and Momo walks in, pushing an extravagant cart full of expensive looking tea cups and exotic looking sweets and snacks. She's glowing with happiness and eagerness as she sweetly asks her friends, "Is something wrong?"

Her energy quickly lifts all their spirits as they're mesmerized by her demeanor and reply together, "No, everything's perfect!"

"I'm so happy that everyone could make it tonight!"

The door opens wider and to her shock, Momo's father walks in, his glare quickly finding Peter as the teen gulps. "I'm not."

"F-father!?"

"What is he doing here?"

Everyone turns their attention to Peter, his face burning and tapping his fingers on the solid wood table, whistling nonchalantly. "Father I informed you that my friends would be coming so that we can prepare together for the final exams."

"Yes, but when you told me that, I wasn't aware that this boy would be included. I know I made you aware of the last time he was he—"

"FATHER! I-I mean, father, t-there's nothing to worry about we're only studying!" Momo reasons with him, her face becoming just as red as Peter's after her father almost reveals his last 'visit'.

"Hmph, security will be nearby to keep an eye on things." He gives Peter one last glare before leaving.

The air is thick with tension as Momo sits herself as far from Peter as possible. "Ahem… so Quadratic formulas correct?"

The study session started off slow but thankfully over time, the atmosphere became easier as the friends all pooled together and helped each others weak points. Peter and Momo worked in tandem, with Peter having an easier time breaking things down into layman's terms which allowed even Kaminari to quickly catch on to lessons. "Wow, I can understand this!"

"Yea my brain doesn't feel like it's gonna burst from just thinking about this problem!" Sero adds.

"Thank you guys so much!" Mina shouts, happy tears falling.

"Don't give us all the credit, you guys had it in you all along!" Momo says, encouraging them all.

"We still had great teachers in you two." Jiro points out.

"Yea the mom and dad of our class." Sero teases.

"Shu-shut up tape measure!" Peter quips.

"Anyway, think it's about time we all start heading out, your security guards look a little eager to get us out of the house." Kaminari points out.

"I think they only want one person in particular out of the house." Mina notes, following their line of sight to the brunette sitting next to her. "What did you do to them anyway Peter?"

"Nothing!" He answers a little too quickly.

"Oh but it's much too early! I can order them away from us, we can spend some time in the recreational hall!" Momo says, frantic to keep her friends with her longer.

"You have a recreational hall?!"

"Yes! Would you all like to see?"

She beckons her friends to follow her, taking their time as they marvel at mansion. They stop before an ancient looking sword hanging on the wall. "What's that?!"

"Ah! This is the sword of Alexander the Great. This is the very blade he used to cut the Gordian Knot." Momo informs the group.

"Why do you have an ancient sword?" Jiro asks.

Momo looks at it in disgust, "It's my fathers. He has a hobby of collecting ancient relics. Says the only kinship he's every felt were to ancient geniuses such as Alexander of Mecedonia."

Peter leans on a nearby bust, "Smart as he was, my opinion? The guy was just a glorified psychopathic killer." He comments, realizing too late that the urn sitting on the bust he leaned on had tipped until he heard the crash.

He cringes as he looks at the broken pieces lying in a pile of dust. "Was uh, was that important?"

He jumps as he hears a dark voice behind him, "That, was the ashes of my prized Dalmatian Rupert." Momo's father growls behind him.

Peter awkwardly goes to pick it up but then pulls back, wondering if it would be disrespectful to or to not touch the remains. "I-I-I-I am so so sorry about that Mr Yaoyorozu! I mean it from the bottom of my heart it was an accident and I had no intention of ever doing that on purpose!"

A few minutes later, Peter is thrown out the mansion fresh prince of bel air style.

Practical Exam time

The students are in costume, relieved to have finished their 3 days of written exam but now anxious to start the real test. Their anxiety rises tenfold once they class makes the realization that Mr Aizawa didn't come to the training facility alone. He's standing in front of the entrance surrounded by other pro heroes such as Cementoss, Power Loader, Present Mic, even Snipe.

"What's going on here?" Kirishima whispers.

"Now then… Let's begin the last test. Remember it's possible to fail. This final. If you wanna go to camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes."

Seemingly the only one with the courage to ask, Jiro raises her hand, "Uh, why are all the teachers here?"

"I expect many of you have gathered information and believe you have some idea of what you'll be faced with today."

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Peter grumbles under his mask.

"We're fighting those big ol' metal robots!"

"As apposed to non metal robots?" Peter quips.

"Fireworks! Smores! Here we go—"

"Actually this years tests… will be completely different, for various reasons!" Principal Nezu announces, bursting out of Aizawa's scarf.

"Dammit!" Peter curses under his breath.

"You're changing things!?" Momo asks, bewildered.

"Yes! The tests now have a new focus. There will be hero work, of course. But also teamwork and combat between actual people. So what does that mean for you?"

"Absolutely nothing good." Peter answers.

Nezu chuckles, "You students will be working together and your opponents will be one of our esteemed UA teachers! Isn't that fabulous?!"

Not to the class clearly. Every single student, even the normally stoic Asui, aside from Bakugo, are all in varying states of shock and panic.

"We're… fighting teachers?!" Gravity girl asks.

Aizawa takes back center stage as he informs the class, "Additionally, your partners and your opponents have already been chosen. They were determined at my discretion based on various factors, including fighting style, grades, and interpersonal relationships. The first team will be Midoriya, paired with Bakugo and Parker."

"NO GODDAMN WAY!"

"NO GODDAMN WAY!"

Peter and Bakugo scream in unison. They point at each other,

"I'm not working with this idiot all he does is talk!"

"Yea well I'm not working with firecracker here cause all he does is yell and blow things up!"

"-And the fact is—"

"With plenty of offense meant—"

"THIS GUY'S A REAL ASSHOLE!"

"THIS GUY'S A REAL ASSHOLE!"

Even Aizawa is shocked by their mutual outburst, Midoriya standing behind Peter and cringing. This cannot get any worse.

The homeroom teacher quickly wraps both teenagers mouths with his scarf. "Enough! Save that energy for the exam because you're opponents will be…"

A booming laughter is heard up above as All Might lands before them, his grin challenging. "I am here! To fight!"

Izuku's shaking, "We're up against All Might?!" I was wrong, now it can't get any worse!

"You're going to have to work together boys! If you want to win!"

"Against the world's most powerful superhero?" Peter retorts sarcastically. Then something occurs to him, "Wait you didn't say opponent. You said opponents, as in plural. Who else could you—"

The speakers buzz before they start blasting a familiar rock song that Peter recognizes belongs to AC/DC, " ~Shoot for thrill! Play to kill! Too many women with too many pills yea! Shoot for thrill! Play to kill! I got my gun and I'm ready, gonna fire at will!~"

He groans as he hears the familiar sounds of thrusters, "You've gotta be kidding me."

Ironman whoops as he breaks his nose dive with a quick blast from his repulsor rays and lands with one fist hitting the ground. Once again Izuku groans, Wow wrong again. Aizawa pinches the bridge of his nose, "I specifically told him not to do that."

"You really thought he'd listen to you?" Present mic cackles.

Ironman pops open his mask as he throws his hands up like a showman, "Good morning ladies and gentlemen of class 1A!"

Sato leans to Kirishima and whispers, "They're dead."

"Mhm!"

"Mr Stark!? You're fighting against us too?!"

"Well of course kid! Principal Nezu and I agreed that I'd be a great foil against you given your 'weakness' against flying opponents as well as to test that smart brain of yours against someone with more than one brain cell. Now I know what you three are thinking, how're we gonna ever stand a chance against such badass heroes like us?"

"Language." Aizawa admonishes.

"Well we got that covered you see-"

"Mr Stark, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but may we please have our moment?" Nezu interrupts.

"… Right. Sorry." Tony steps back and allows the (mouse?) to continue his explanation.

"Now to complete the exam, you'll have 30 minutes, in order to win. Your objective is to put these handcuffs on your teacher, or you can win if one of you manages to escape from the combat stage."

"The exam will be treated as a real battle, so as strange as it is, please think of us as villains." Thirteen supplies.

Snipe follows, "Assumin you come across your enemy, if you think you can win against them, then fight. However…"

"In instances where you're outmatched, it would be smarter to run away and find help." Aizawa concludes, "Todoroki. Iida. Midoriya. Parker. I'm sure you all understand."

Peter crosses his arms and pouts, "Way to single us out teach'."

Nezu smiles to the armored avenger, "Now you may continue."

Grinning Ironman opens his mouth but is interrupted by All Might, " It's a test of your decision making skills! But with these rules, you're probably thinking your only real choice is to flee." He digs into his pocket and pulls out a specialized cuff, "That's why the support course made these super-clever accessories for us! Ultra-compressed weights!"

The students all stare at Peter, since he's the only one who is also enrolled in support course. "D-Don't look at me! I had no idea they were making these things! They kept getting cheeky and saying I'll find out when I see it!"

"It's true guys, don't give the poor kid any grief." Power loader orders them, "Lord knows he and I both get enough of it with Mei as it is." He mumbles under his breath.

"These babies," Peter and Power loader shudder, " will add about half our body weight to our physiques. It's not much but they will eat up our stamina and make it harder for us to move."

Peter raises a hand, "So clearly Mr Stark Can't use that, what'll you be doing?"

"Before I was so rudely interrupted I was going to explain." He stares pointedly at the apologetic All Might, "A little disappointed you haven't noticed kid, I'm using one of my older models of my suit!"

Peter quickly realizes that he isn't wearing the suit he recently wore against the Nomu's but one he hasn't seen him wear in years. "Is that the mark XLII?"

"Bout time! And yes, this suits pretty good but can't take as much a beating as any I currently use in the last 3 years. Should make it easier for someone of your intelligence to figure out how to counter it."

"Wait isn't that the only suit to malfunction—"

"Let's get this show on the road huh!"

Bakugo glares at the two pro heroes, "You think we need a handicap to face you? Well think again!"

"Goddammit Bakugo, are you seriously trying to piss off All Might? Freakin All Might!?"

"This is exactly why I chose them." Aizawa sighs. "Let's begin, you three? You're up first."

Izuku reaches for Bakugo to maybe talk strategy but he stomps towards the building alone. Peter shakes his head, "We're doomed."

"Team Midoriya, Bakugo, and Parker: practical exam. Ready? Go!"

"So you got a plan Midoriya?" Parker asks, walking behind Bakugo who's doing his best to be ahead of the pair.

"Normally I'd say that we should analyze the 'villain's' combat ability and choose to fight them or run away based on that. But since the villain team contains of All Might especially, then combat is out of the question."

"Agreed, there's no way to beat him even with you know, your whole thing. Ya hear that sparky sparky boom man?!"

Bakugo growls and turns around, his fists raised, "Don't call me that bug boy!"

"Then stop and listen!"

Bakugo gets up to Peter's face but Izuku gets in between them and pushes them apart. He looks pleadingly to his childhood friend, "Kacchan please listen! It'd be impossible to beat him in a fight alone even less with Ironman at his side. It's really a bad idea!"

"Just stop following me!"

Peter rolls his eyes under his mask, "As much as we hate it, and believe me I truly do, but we're a team and we have to work together, you can't just try to fight the most powerful man in the world on your own! We have to figure out a way around him and be careful about it cause Mr Stark is definitely gonna have a lot of tricks up his sleeve!"

"I'm not gonna runaway from this fight! It'll look better if we blast that smile off his face." Bakugo barks.

Izuku tries to make him see reason, "He's been hit in the face with rockets and missiles without so much as a scratch on him, none of us will be able to leave a mark! We should avoid fighting him no matter what it takes."

But it was fruitless, "I'm gonna toy with him until time is almost up then knock him unconscious for real!"

"Do you honestly believe your own hype that much!?"

"I am the hype!"

Peter drops his head dramatically, "How did you survive growing up with this guy?! Even flash knew when to quit!"

"I-I don't know but we have to do something now because we're running out of time,… I can't worry about upsetting him anymore!"

"That's the spirit!" Peter says with a thumbs up, impressed that his friend is finally sticking up for himself.

Izuku starts running to catch up to Bakugo, "Come on Kacchan, you know that even with those weights it won't slow down All Mi—"

Just as he gets close to the explosive student, Bakugo backhands Izuku in the face, knocking the boy down to the ground in surprise. Angered Peter dashes to Bakugo, who's caught off guard and grunts as Peter pins him to the ground. "You son of a bitch!"

Peter raises his fist to hit Bakugo but is shocked to see Izuku appear, holding his arm back, "What?"

"Just stop Peter!"

Before Peter could come up with a retort, his spider sense goes off. He looks down the road ahead of them and sees some type of invisible force coming at them, wrecking the road and shattering the glass. All Might! "GET BEHIND SOMETHING NOW!"

Peter picks up Bakugo and quickly runs to some cover with Izuku, the air rushing and making their ears pop as they get into a makeshift alley just as the wave reaches them. "Let go of me bug boy!"

Peter drops Bakugo unceremoniously as they hear the booming voice of All Might in the dust cloud, "Who really cares if I destroy the city?"

Peter gulps, "I do. I care a great deal. Especially if I'm one of the idiots still in it."

His spider sense goes off and he looks up to see a bunch of mini missiles heading directly towards them from above. "Move!"

The three have no choice but to head back into the main road, directly in the path of All Might. Little explosions go off behind them as Ironman swoops in and shoots his repulsors all around them, not aiming to hit them but to separate them as all 3 do their best to avoid the attacks. "Nice moves kid but you'll only be lucky for so long."

All Might stomps his foot, causing the earth around him to warp and rise and break. The boys stumble and quickly escaping the opening cracks in the ground, with peter using the rising mass he's standing on as a jump board and flipping into the air but is too late to react as Ironman comes in and clothe lines him, sending the teen painfully to the ground and skidding to a stop next to Izuku. "If you kids think of this as a test and not a real fight, you'll be sorry. We're villains now, heroes."

"So I guess I shouldn't feel bad in calling you the big blonde bugs bunny?"

All Might sweat drops as Ironman chuckles in his helmet, "Now I'm really not gonna pull my punches."

"… Ok ok that's my bad!"

"Now we really can't fight him head on, let's run!"

"Don't tell me what to do!"

"Fine I won't I'll just take you!" Peter shoots a web that catches Bakugo on his back and drags him along as he tries to swing away but his webline is cut by something that shoots out of Ironman's gauntlet. Peter has mere moments to be surprised as he feels All Might grip his ankle and smashes him to the ground, a crater forming underneath him as he yells in pain. Bakugo rolls back to his feet and tries to fire a stun grenade that blinds the number one hero. Bakugo leaps into the air, "You want everything I've got All Might!? Like that wasn't my plan! I never—"

A massive palm effortlessly catches him in the air by his face even as he continues speaking, - Hold back dammit!"

He raises his hand and rapid fires multiple explosions point blank in All Might's face who does grunt in discomfort but is ultimately unaffected. Meanwhile Midoriya dodges a few repulsor blasts then leaps up, grabbing onto a webline peter shoots and peter swings him into a powerful kick that almost knocks the armored avenger to the ground but he corrects himself then flies right back into them, shooting a homing bomb at Spider-Man who does his best to avoid it while Ironman goes after Izuku. Midoriya slides under the armored avenger, kicking up and hitting him right in the chest. Tony grunts from the hit but fires the unibeam, that hits one of the fake cars the deku tried to take cover behind, making it explode and causing him to be thrown into the next building. Unbeknownst to Ironman, Spider-Man had swung around right back at him, "Hey buddy I think you lost this!"

Flipping at the last second to avoid his mentor who realized too late that the homing bomb was still after him and took the full explosive brunt of the attack, falling to the ground. Peter feels the floor shake and sees that Bakugo was slammed to the ground by All Might. Despite himself, he continues to watch the scene unfold for a few moments. "I should do something. I should not just stand here and watch Bakugo get pummeled. (sigh) Dammit."

All Might sees Spider-Man and his grin grows, making his spider sense go off. "I have been meaning to test your mettle."

Too fast for Peter to perceive, All Might appears behind him and backhands him to the ground. It feels like I just got hit by the Nomu again! "You're good." Peter dodges a few of his attacks then does a double kick off of him that barely even registers to All Might.

All might catches the webs he shoots and reels him in, meeting him with an elbow to the chest, throwing him right back to where he was with greater force. "But you're still holding yourself back! In a real fight a villain won't give you that kind of mercy!"

Peter tries to stand but he's still in pain from the attack and falls back down. Izuku is not far off, "Don't think I've forgotten about you midoriya Shonen!" He appears behind the green haired teen.

"Are you really going to leave your teammates here and runaway?"

Eager to put distance between themselves, Deku leaps back but ends up colliding with Bakugo and the two falls down to the ground. Despite the pain, Peter laughs a little. "That, hahaha, Ow, was kind of funny!"

His spider sense goes off and he pushes off the ground into the air, web yanking himself higher as Ironman blasted the area he was in. "Come on kid, I know you can figure out someway to disable my armor. Try thinking instead of reacting!"

"Easier said than done when I'm being shot at!"

Ironman releases flares that does blind Peter but thankfully he's able to continue evading the assault thanks to his spider sense, backflipping in the air and firing a webline that he uses to swing just out of range of each blast. Unfortunately All Might is there once again and thunder claps, the force of his clap hurting Peter's ears and knocking him out the air and painfully onto the roof of a car, caving it in. "Parker!"

Izuku's call was cut short as All Might grabs a gate and drops it on top of Izuku, pinning him to the ground, "I have a special gift, to the one who wants to run!"

Bakugo growls in frustration but even he is cut off by a powerful punch directly to his gut delivered to him by All Might that not only lifts him off his feet but even makes him throw up. Now that, Peter is too hurt to laugh at. Dammit, these guys are so intense and quick, I barely can think of a quip that won't start or end with ow! Still despite his pain, Peter picks himself up off the car. He's just planted his feet on the ground when All Might appears in front of him fist ready to be thrown. His spider sense works in over drive, making him duck down roll to his right and guides his right hook directly to All Might's side, unknown to Peter, landing it exactly in his old wound he had gained years prior. All Might howls in pain and drops down to a knee, his left hand clutching his side. Peter scrambles back, astonished by the sudden turn of events, that… that was his weak spot wasn't it!

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it!" He whispers.

The class is shocked, even Ironman stops his assault and watches in disbelief as Peter had actually hurt the seemingly invulnerable hero. Peter pushes away his shock and scrambles to grab his friends and vacate the area, Bakugo under one arm with Izuku over his shoulder. He keeps running until his spider sense tingling has gone down to a satisfying level. It hasn't stopped though, not since All Might appeared has it stopped tingling.

"Put me down you bastard!"

"Have you ever heard of the term please?"

"PLEASE MOTHER FUCKER!"

"WHY'RE YOU ALWAYS YELLING!"

"JUST PUT ME DOWN ALREADY!"

"ALRIGHT! GOD!"

The boys all try to catch their breaths leaning against the walls as they try to regain enough energy to form words. Izuku leans his head back against the wall, "Guys, I really can't think of a way to beat All Might. Or to make a clean get away from him and Ironman without one or the other swooping in and stopping us."

Bakugo gives him a confused look, "You're still on that?"

"Why not!? If we keep trying to fight them then we'll lose!"

"I don't care! I'd rather lose, than run away. I'd rather lose than accept help from weaklings like you!" He snarls.

This angers Peter, "You know what, I'm done with this, you acting like an asshole the whole time is what got us the ass whooping we just took!"

"You trying to put this on me!?"

"Yes I Am! Can you stop with the tough guy act and admit you need help!? I mean we're all trying to pass the finals and no ones gonna think less of you if you work with us as a team like the ACTUAL INSTRUCTIONS SAYS TO DO!"

"I don't need you at all!"

"You know you still got some throw up on the side of your mouth?"

Bakugo makes to wipe it but stops, "I'm not falling for that again!"

"I'm being honest, you actually still have throw up on the side of your mouth!"

Suddenly Izuku walks up to Bakugo and clocks him clean across his jaw, this time knocking him to the ground. "… huh?"

Even Bakugo stares in shock at Deku.

"Don't you dare say that you'd rather lose! You can't say that. You've never given in before. You're always fighting, ever since we were kids you've always said that the most amazing hero always wins! How can you be that hero if you give up now?!"

Becoming more and more agitated, Bakugo roars and tries to throw another punch at Deku but once again Peter stops him. A hand is placed on his shoulder, once again, Peter sees Izuku telling him with his eyes to let go. Why?

Bakugo yanks his arm out of Peter's grasp. Glaring down at the ground, "I'll say this once. All Might's speed is insane. Ironman's suit is too good even if it's old. No matter where you try to run and hide, there's no way you'll avoid fighting!"

"Yea but we don't stand a chance in combat! I mean you guys saw them back there!"

Peter thinks to himself, he's right. The two are too powerful to be able to take down on our own. So far they've been smart and keeping us separated and picking us apart. Hmm, Maybe we should take a page out of their book.

"They won't be stopped by anything less than a full-power attack!" Bakugo tries to argue.

"Actually, I think I know what we can do!"

The 3 finally begin brainstorming, though Izuku and Bakugo feel uneasy about Peter's input.

"That's a fucking disgusting quirk!"

"I kinda agree with Bakugo, Parker-kun." Izuku states, apologetically.

"Guys it's the best I got and honestly it'll give us the most breathing room too!"

"Fine." Bakugo grits out.

Peter stops Izuku from walking away as he has to ask. "Why do you keep stopping me?"

"Because… I appreciate you looking out for me. But I need you to trust me when it comes to Bakugo. I can handle him!"

"Midoriya he hit you!"

"I know! I'm not trying to be a punching bag. But if I'm gonna stand up to Bakugo, it's gonna be on my terms. Please, let me do this." Izuku's eyes are big and definitely convincing as Peter grunts.

"Fine. I trust you Midoriya."

"Thank you."

Peter walks up to Bakugo, neither one looking at the other. "I'm safe to assume that you and I, we're never gonna be friends are we?"

"Wow you can think, shocking."

Rolling his eyes Peter continues, "Look, you and I both wanna get this whole team thing over with, so please can you just trust us enough to get through this?"

Bakugo stares hard at Peter for a long time before grunting, "Fuck it."

"Ironman, what does your scanner tell you?"

Ironman uses his lenses to create a hologram that shows him a layout of the entire facility and the heat signatures of the three teens they're hunting. "Their about a mile away due south."

"Hmmm, since they're hiding does that mean they're planning to make a break for the escape gate?"

"Possibly, but if I know the kid as well as I think I do, he might surprise us."

At that moment the heat signatures move on the hologram with incredible speed, "What the?"

Suddenly a glob of web lands right in All Mights eyes. "Huh?!"

In the air Peter throws Bakugo with full force, the explosive teen flying like a torpedo. He aims his gauntlet at All Might then pulls the pin, releasing a massive explosion that lands the hero on his back.

Peter then takes out a small device from his waist and throws it at All Might's chest. A moment later it explodes into a shower of webs that completely covers the Number One hero. All Might is stunned to find out that he is struggling to get out. Unknown to him, this was the stronger variant of his webs that Peter created with the Nomu in mind. Yes it'll dissolve in seconds but if things go according to plan, that'll be all the time they need.

Ironman aims his gauntlet at Spider-Man but Deku appears and kicks him in the face, damaging his helmet, but Izuku doesn't stop and he grabs onto his arm in a mid air arm bar, squeezing the hand until the repulsor is damaged beyond use and swings his body into a flying knee that knocks him right into a large web Peter made between two buildings. Tony grunts as he feels the spider powered teen land on his back and dig his hand into the back of his armors neck. "This looks important!"

And he yanks out the wires that connect to his targeting system.

Ironman activates the wrist mounted lasers and frees himself from the web, having to retract his helmet to see and quickly brings his arms up to shield his face as Bakugo fires and explosion landing in his chest. Tony grunts as he falls but is caught by the ankle by Izuku who then strikes the heel of his boot, destroying the thruster.

Unable to continue his sustained flight Ironman has to land on the ground. "Ok color me impressed kids but I'm still not out, rock of ages is starting to free himself from his entanglement and times starting to run out. What else you got?"

OH plenty! Peter closes his eyes and touches the ground in his hiding spot. The ability he's about to use was one he discovered on a fluke. It was a joke really, just a fun little thought he had in mind when brainstorming the extent of his powers. He didn't realize it was a real thing until, well it worked. I hope no one thinks differently of me when they see this! He presses his palm to the ground then concentrates. Everyone is confused as they hear an off-putting sound, like thousands of scuttling. In the monitor room the students look queasy as they see what can only be Peter's doing. Even Recovery Girl looks green.

"Oh hell no!" Kaminari gasps.

Tony freaks out as he sees thousands and thousands of spiders suddenly appear and all crawl together in unison like a sea of furry little legs towards one destination. Him.

"No. No. No. No. And No!" he shrieks as he shoots as many as he can but the numbers are overwhelming.

Izuku grabs a still usable web string and hangs onto it like a ball with his feet curled under him, gulping as he sees the hordes of spiders move underneath him. Bakugo isn't so lucky as he has nowhere to go or hide except lay face down with his hands over his head, screwing his eyes shut as he feels little legs scamper over his back and through his hair, screaming internally, I HATE BUGS!

Tony isn't any better as he screams, His skin crawls as the tiny little critters enter his suit and beginning chewing the wiring and connections disabling his suit from within. Peter can imagine what the spiders are seeing, directing them inside the armor, cutting any none lethal tech that'll keep tony alive but his suit dead. Finally having enough Tony uses the manual override to release him from the armor and Peter quickly disperses the spider swarm, allowing the older man to fall on untouched earth. Freaked out Tony rolls back to his hands and feet, continuously swiping his person as if he's still covered in spiders.

Peter lands in front of him and quickly places his arms into the cuffs. Panting Peter awkwardly says, "S-Sorry."

"Don't. Ever. And I mean EVER, do that to me again!"

"Scouts honor!"

His spider sense goes off, and he surmises that it's All Might making his move. Peter smirks under his mask as just as the giant blonde is upon him, Midoriya appears, holding one of Bakugo's gauntlet that has a strand of web attached to the pin.

"What?!"

"I'm sorry All Might!" Deku yells as he swings the gauntlet like a sling shot and pulls the pin off just as it gets in All Might's hitting him dead on with his blast, the force of which flings Izuku into the air, in the direction of the escape gate. Peter laughs as he swings into the air to follow him, webbing up bakugo to take with him, "You better never use those spiders again you hear me you creep!?"

"That's hurtful, I'd rather you call me bug boy!"

He growls and uses his quirk to destroy the web attached to him and quickly glides with his power, "Stop talking already! There's no way that attack KO'd him. He'll catch up to us! And when he does, it'll be my turn to blast him to hell with a gauntlet."

Ya had to tempt fate. Peter thinks grimly as his spider sense goes off and All Might knees him square in the back, creating a crater when he hits the ground. "Oh really? And what will you do then?"

He punches through Bakugo's blast and destroys the gauntlet, grabs his forearm and throws him into a car while simultaneously punching Deku into a wall. He's too fast!

All Might stomps on Peters back, "Don't tell me you're surprised!" He grabs Peter by the head and slams him into Izuku and then uses Peter's limp body to smack Bakugo out the air. Peter's brain is screaming, his vision unfocused, now seeing quadruple. He's barely conscious as he's lifted up and All might brings a fist up, ready to deliver another devastating blow. "Now then heroes! It's time to die!"

This is gonna hurt so much! Peter closes the eye that isn't swollen when Bakugo suddenly appears his palm right in front of All Mights face, "That's my line you bastard!" And a massive explosion erupts from his palm, releasing Peter from the fearsome grip of the number one hero. Peter coughs and looks up to Bakugo, "Deku if you can hear me, you and bug boy get ready to run!"

"What?" Peter weakly asks.

"I don't like the idea of running but with the shitfest we're in right now this is the only way to pass the practical!"

Deku appears through the smoke and Bakugo grabs him and pushes him to the direction of the escape gate. He points at Peter, "You make sure he gets there!"

Stunned by the sudden change in attitude, Peter nods, gets up and starts running after Deku until Bakugo stops him, "Hey! Tell me when he's near!"

Understanding, Peter waits until he hears All Might begin, "New Hampshire!-"

His spider sense tingles, "Now!"

Bakugo fires as big a blast as he can muster directly above him, just as All Might yells, "Smash!"

The two forces meet in the middle, blasting All Might up in a massive force. Peter grins and starts running to the escape gate. They're almost within reach until he sees Midoriya stop. "Kacchan!"

They pair look back and sees Bakugo prone on the ground, he must've gotten caught in the blast coupled with the force from All Might's smash. "Damn, I don't think even he can force himself to get up from that one."

To their alarm, All Might quickly appears a top of the explosive teen, his hand pinning him down. "Kaachan!" Midoriya steps forward but Peter stops him.

"We can't get to him, This is our only chance of passing the test! If you go back now none of us will pass!" He pleads.

Izuku looks a war with himself and Peter thinks that he got through to him. Until he sees one for All activate. "I'm sorry Peter, but this is my choice!"

He yanks his arm out of his grasp and speeds right to all Might, "SMASH!"

His fist hits All Might right on the button with all the force the one for all successor can muster. DAMN! I CAN FEEL THAT FROM HERE! Peter watches with a smile on his face as Izuku picks up his childhood bully and carries him to the escape gate, "Come on!"

The three finally meet and pass the line into safety. They did it. They passed the exam!

"Team Midoriya, Bakugo, and Parker have passed the exam!" The speaker announces, in the monitor room the class cheers on fort he students, happy to see that they've all passed together. Far off Tony watches the three collapse over each other, happily gazing at the teen as they celebrate. "Not bad kid."

Due to how taxing the practical exam was for the 3 of them; Midoriya, Bakugo and Peter all fainted as soon as they were cleared from the room and sent to Recovery Girls office where they ended up spending the rest of the exams for. Later Peter would learn that everyone except Mina, Sato, Sero, Kirishima, and Kaminari had passed the test. Even Mineta of all passed somehow.

"I still can't believe it." Peter says, wincing as he speaks, his throat still sore.

"You and me both." Momo grumbles then she smiles.

"I need to thank you though."

"What for?"

She turns in her seat to face him more and her cheeks turn slightly rosed , "At first I was overwhelmed during my exam, and I doubted myself so much that any idea that came into mind, I instantly thought it wouldn't work. But then… I thought of you."

"W-What?" Peter's heart skips.

As does Momo's as she says, "I remembered everything you told me, everything we talked about and I realized that if you believed in me, then that means there's something about me that was worth believing in. And I needed to do it for myself. And I figured it out! So thank you, for helping me to find my strength."

She smiles small with a bit of her bottom lip being chewed on but to Peter, it was the most beautiful smile he's ever seen her wear and wants to take a picture so that he could always remember this moment.

He smiles back, "I'll always have your back."

"There's no one else I'd rather have." She answers genuinely.

And once again the 'unspoken' thing between them comes at that forefront of their minds, both wondering if they should talk about it now.

"You're dismissed." Aizawa announces to the class as the days events have finally come to a close.

Peter curses inwardly as the moment is ruined and glumly packs his bag. The pro hero watches lazily as each student exits the room one by one before he stops the final student.

"Parker. Hang back for a second."

Confused, the brunette does as he's told, fidgeting slightly thanks to his nerves. Aizawa casually gets up and closes the door before he stoically checks Peter. Said teen gulps nervously, eyeing the scarf around the pro heroes neck, knowing what it's capable of.

"Am I in trouble or something?"

Aizawa narrows his eyes, "I've finally been updated by your mentor about the events of your internship."

"Oh you mean the bridge? Well about that—"

"Not just the bridge."

Peter drops his head, "He told you everything didn't he?"

"Were you expecting him to keep it a secret?"

"K-Kinda."

"As per the agreement he made once he revealed to the staff everything, Stark has to keep us up to date on everything especially if Osborn is in anyway involved in the matter, considering the fact that your 'circumstances' could pose a threat to the other students."

"Bu-"

"And he made us aware of the fact that Osborn was indeed connected to the Enforcers, why he decided to procrastinate in doing so is anyones guess." The homeroom teacher concludes.

Looking scolded, Peter says in a small voice. "… Are you gonna expel me?"

"… No. From what I've gathered you handled yourself well in stifling the attempt and ending the villainous attack."

Peter's head shoots up wide eyed, "Say what?"

Aizawa holds up a hand, "That doesn't mean I condone your actions. It was reckless and stupid to go into enemy territory on your own. You could've even been taken if they hadn't underestimated your strength."

Cringing, Peter stammers, "W-well Y-yea I didn't exactly think that through."

"That's the problem. I already have one problem child who keeps throwing caution to the wind and he even roped in 2 other of my students into it."

Does… Does he mean Midoriya? Peter thinks as he remembers what Midoriya told him about the battle against Stain.

"And now you're doing so as well. I had hoped you learned your lesson considering your last reckless act that I was aware of was in the USJ incident but clearly you were just biding your time weren't you?"

"N-No! I wasn't I swear I-"

Aizawa activates his quirk, his hair rising and his eyes turning red, making his appearance frightening. "Just listen!... I should apologize for my previous statement."

"Huh?!"

"The last time we spoke privately, I was too blunt and gave you the impression that I would 'kick you to the curb' if I felt you would endanger my students."

"You literally said you'd expel me." Peter comments deadpan.

He shuts up once he sees the scarf moving like snakes in the air. "Sorry, listening, go ahead."

"I shouldn't have done so, it was a lie I told in the hopes it'd keep you on your best behavior. Not me, nor the staff for that matter, would leave you to whatever dangers lurk in the shadows. We'll do our upmost to protect you as well as your loved ones."

Peter sighs, feeling his heart rate return to normal. To be honest he had no idea where this conversation was going but he's glad that it's coursed to safer waters. "But."

I spoke too soon, Peter thought.

"We won't succeed if you keep breaking the rules. Had you followed the laws we teach you, this wouldn't have happened."

Suddenly, Peter remembers the conversation he had with Ironman, the same conversation that instilled a new resolve in his heart. "If I did then a lot of people would've been hurt."

Now scowling Aizawa tells him, "You did stop the enforcers but you also—"

"I know! I broke the law! The 'sacred laws' that uphold our society. But in that moment, I didn't care!" He admits, shocking his teacher.

"I didn't care if I was breaking the law or not because people needed help ok!? People who were in danger because of me, it was my responsibility to help them!"

"You're responsibility is to listen and learn from us! To understand why we have these laws in the first place and why it's important to uphold them!"

"Mr Aizawa—"

"Let me tell you something Parker. You're not the first person I've met who's thought that doing what they think is right gives them the authority to deliver their own justice. I've met many vigilantes during my career, but there was one group who I met that truly haunts me. Years ago when I only just began my career as a pro hero, authorities had gotten word that a group of villains were hiding within the Naruhata. These were violent criminals who were suspected of a string of grizzly murders and acts of terrorism. Working with the authorities, we planned to apprehend them as quietly as possible because their quirks were devastatingly powerful. Everything was planned out perfectly so as to avoid any and all casualties. Except for one thing we didn't take into account."

"What?"

"A young group of vigilantes, people I used to attend UA with but dropped out after failing to procure a license. They were well meaning people who had a strong sense of justice and figured that a not having a license wasn't gonna stop them from doing what they thought was right. Somehow they had found out the whereabouts of the villains hideout and without planning anything at all, they attacked. It was a messy fight that spilled out into the street. One of the vigilantes, called himself Speedball, pinned one of the villains in front of a school. What he didn't know was that the villains name was Robert hunter, an international criminal who was wanted in over a dozen countries. Reason why he wasn't caught for the longest time was because of his quirk. He has the ability to turn himself into a gaseous state that'll combust and reconstitute himself. He was desperate, so he blew himself up, along with 600 civilians; 60 of which were children. The only one who survived was Hunter himself."

He allows the teen to process the information, knowing how heavy it was before continuing, "All of you have potential. But in your haste to save the world… you could end up destroying it instead."

Aizawa can see the conflict brewing in the teen before him, his anxiety visible in his expression, that should be enough for today. "Keep your head level, now go, enjoy your night."

Peter mumbles a goodbye as he exits the classroom, feeling a lot more doubtful than he had at the beginning of the day.

Photos are taken of colonel Jameson, who smiles with movie star charm as he's being interviewed after hazardously landing his space shuttle despite the damaged heat shielding. The doors to the hangar that houses the damaged shuttle are opened as the group walks in for a tour of the spacecraft. John Jameson runs his hand over the hull as he's being asked, "Colonel Jameson, how does it feel to be back home?"

"Hahaha, I'm just glad to be back on solid ground-"

He stops as his hand comes into contact with black sludge and the whole group jumps back as the black sludge suddenly jumps forward, nearly grasping the Colonel who pulls his hand out of reach just in time.

"—Where it's nice and… safe."

Authors note: I wonder what that could be lol. Hope you guys liked it, took be a while cause i was having writers block, i wanted to have all 3 interact well enough but also not sacrifice the significant portions of this arc for Izuku and Bakugo. so hope it worked out good enough. And Izuku and Peter talked about the stain debacle. At first i was planning on it to be one big discussion about it but as i wrote i was like damn this is a lot in such a short time, in their world at least. And as i looked at my layout of the story, i realized that i can make this discussion grow naturally with all the experiences they'll all have so consider this the seed being planted. and jsut one more episode before we get started with the Two heroes arc! MAnCaptainPokey: yea that was a last minute change cause i was like oh yea there's other black wdiows and since thi one is different than Romanoff, i can have a little more liberties with the character.

Espio: When it comes to Toga, she's definitely not gonna be a love interest, i get why some would do it but to me she works better as a villain, and she may face other UA students especially with what i got planned for her. i don't know about sandman becoming a hero but we may see Peter do some talking no jutsu at some point.

TheGreatGodzilla: Thats actually similar to an idea i was saving for a different point in the story like a web of shadows type of deal though i do have plans for the provisional license exam. IT's possible for Apocalypse to be defeated, my headcannon is that it was done after the chitauri and sentinels and it was a similar defeat to x men legends two in that Mr Sinister had sabotaged him and weakened him tot he point that he was capable of being defeated and Mr sinister went on to work with All for one to help him get a better understanding of quirks and how to manipualte them to work even better for him which helped All for one master it as he does currently. though he anticipated Mr Sinister's eventual betrayal and killed him before it happened. It's possible All for one would use him but that'll remain to be seen if/when it happens. And yea they talked about stain's ideology, liek i said thoguh it's not gonna be a one off conversation, it'll be one that's gonna be brought up more and more especially as time goes on and hell even Iida will have part in one of the conversations. Yea at first i wasn't gonn a have that sequence with Momo but i've been having too much fun with these anime tropes and thought whart the hell, stay tuned for future tropes! I alreayd had the beach episode down so let's see what else. I can't reveal too much other than Peter and Momo are always end game for this and future fic. In this story, I'll explain more, but she's more like a reserve member, cause she still does her spy thing for the most part but will help out the avengers whenever needed as more of a way to honor her mentor which was the original Black widow we know and love. Also Yelena will have a surprsing reason for why she's wanting to mentor Momo. The Avengers roster i have chosen will be revealed when the time comes but Carol Danvers isn't in it. I'll be honest the only times i've read about danvers was in both civilwars and neither one endeaered me to her, i felt like in each story she went far beyond the line includign beating a fellow hero to inconcsiousness in front of her 5 year old daughter and separating said daughter from her mother which eventually caused the daughter to be kidnapped by the skurlls during the skrull invasion and also civil war 2, i couldn't help but feel like she was the type of cop people protest against. I'm not a fan and i dont plan on her ever making an appearance in my story at all. When it coems to Scorpion, you'll jsut have to wait and see! Yea i dont see why recovery girl would be the only medical doctor. I'd say they have a system where once one has to retire they can continue with the school if they so want to. We'll have to wait and see!

The chapter where they clear the air is coming soon, i jsut still wanted to keep the tension going lol, now i'm not gonna go in a completely different direction but there will be a lot of changes in the story, and at some points it will get dark, but in the darkness our heroes will always be there to shine a light! Although i am sympathetic to the writer because he said how the reason things were getting dark in the story is cause of how depressed he was during the pandemic and losing so many friends to the virus and doign this helped him cope. Also... i haven't watched evangelion but it is on my list! Just gonna finish cowboy bebop first!

Zero-X: They might, i have planned on either adding it here or making a separate story if jsut casual episodes outside of school of peter interacting with others in the MHA universe kind of like the Avenging Spiderman story line. maybe series of one shot adventures, havent decided yet but i have a separate folder full of ideas for it.

Ian05: Yea Mina can be really evil when she wants to, but shes gotta be careful cause Peter might unknowingly influence Momo into having her revenge! Which mina might reveal her original prank to the guys as revenge to peter and it'll cause him to retaliate and then the cycle goes on and on and on! Also good idea!

Anthonymon: No actually the MCU iron spider suit hasn't made an appearance, it'll be a while before he is gifted a suit by stark but thanks though i'm glad you liked the scene!

Big Red 1215: Not sure honestly, i'm still debating whether or not to even add them, but if i do, don't expect any influence from the video game, or ironman 3 for that mater, i wasn't exactly a fan of either interpretations. Well honestly i wasn't a fan of the game period and i went in without reading a single comment or watching more than the first trailer.
