Chapter 30

Peter Parker shouldn't be depressed. At least that's what said teenager believed as he laid flat on his back on his bed. He's only a kid. A teenager. The only thing he should be worried about is studying for a test, managing a high school crush or figuring out where to apply for his first job with the support of his loving aunt and uncle. And yet here he is, on the other side of the world from the city he missed so much and called home, with powers he wasn't even born with, a maniacal killer after him because of it, a dead uncle, and an aunt who's been avoiding him ever since he revealed his hand in it.

He slowly swings his feet of his bed and he gets up, tentatively taking steps towards his aunts rom. His legs felt like lead, getting heavier with each step as the mahogany door enlarges in his view until his standing before it his fist raced to knock, but it stops just short. What could he say? What would he accomplish? Another round of sobs as he tries to apologize for inadvertently widowing his Aunt?

In shame, he lets his fist drop limply to his side. I can't. He just couldn't bring himself to open that wound once again. Couldn't find the strength in himself to try and provide comfort to his only remaining relative. He sighs as he returns to his room , wistfully looking out the window, the glass pane showing the outside world feeling more and more like a cage Peter finds himself locked in, unable to escape the shackles that are pulling him down. Tears well up as he wonders if he would ever know peace.

He glances at the picture on his desk, his aunt and Uncle smiling at him, it used to provide comfort but now those smile appear to be taunting him. Now more than ever, he misses his Uncle Ben. So much. More than ever he wishes he was here to hug him and allow him to cry his eyes out while telling him that things would turn out alright. Sure Peter's had some form or variation fo that same gesture since his untimely passing, but the difference was, with uncle ben? He could actually believe it.

"How come every try to do something right, I do something wrong?" He asks the picture.

It simply stares back at him mutely, offering no response.

Frustration wells within him and he asks louder and more forcefully, "what am I supposed to do?!"

Again, he stands in impotent rage with the silence feeling so loud. Then he feels a tingle in the base of his skull, similar to his spider sense, but instead of warning him of frantic danger, it was like a sense of relief, like he was being guided to his solution. In a near hypnotic state, he takes slow steps to his closet, his trembling hand reaching for the knob and ever so carefully, he pulls the closet open. His eyes already fell to the box on the floor, the call getting stronger and more enticing by the minute. He pays no mind to his trembling hands as he lifts the box open and there it was, the black suit. He already figured that this must be the life form that supposedly died during the attack on I-island. Sure he thought that he should return it to the proper authorities. But as he lays his hands on the black suit, feeling the rubbery texture, the tremors stop. Like liquid, it flows up his arms and the suspicious thoughts in his head disappear. We're safer together.

"Together." He whispers in euphoria.

The suit covers him whole and it's like he was free once again, free from everything weighing down. The guilt, the pain, the loneliness. All gone. Thanks to the suit. He felt so much better. "ahhh," He whispers wistfully, "That's more like it."

But the moment is ruined by the ringing of his phone. "Dammit."

The chime goes off again and he shakes his head, "Can't I just have 5 minutes of peace?!" he growls in frustration.

Snatching the phone off his desk Peter sees Midoriya's name illuminating the screen and his frustration lessens… not by a lot though.

"What's got you up excited so early?"

"Hey Parker! Are you busy today?"

Haven't had much planned other than wallowing in my own self pity.

"No can't say I am, what's up?"

"Kaminari and Mineta had the great idea to put in a request to UA staff to allow us to use the school's pool for light endurance training before we go to summer camp! The pool is open for the whole class i-if you wanna come!"

Peter raises an eyebrow. Kaminari and Mineta? A pool? Why do I get the feeling that their main objective is something other than endurance training?

"Parker?"

"huh? Oh uh sure, I'll swing by in a couple minutes!"

"… Was that a spider pun?"

"Midoriya, do you seriously have so little faith in my comedic material that I'd go for something so generic as a pun?"

"Yes." Was his immediate answer.

Peter rolls his eyes, "I think I liked it better when you were tripping on your words."

"Still do that, anyway I'll catch you at the pool!"

"sure thing."

He ends the call and looks himself in the mirror, the black verison of his suit still meeting his gaze. He sighs, "I was hoping for a longer session of relation before letting you go buddy. But a spider suit is a little too much for a pool day."

As if answering his thoughts, the suit peels back like liquid and forms into a stylish bathing shorts.

"You can turn into any clothes at the thought of it?! How did I ever live without you!"

He muses giddily before putting on another shirt.

Now with a pep to his step, Peter gets to his front door but stops when he hears a shuffle coming form Aunt Mays room. He waits with baited breath, wodneirng if she'll finally come out to speak with him. But after a couple minutes of silence he sighs and walks out.

Moments later, May opens her door, staring at the door longing with tears falling from her eyes.

At UA

"Using the school's pool for endurance training is a great idea Mineta! Plus we can use our quirks here too! It'll be the perfect way to train!"

Peter snorts, "Midoriya, I can guarantee you that endurance training was the las thing on their mind, they just told you that so you could go along with whatever scheme they cooked up."

Kaminari bristles while Mineta dramatically clutches his chest, "How could you think so little of me to assume I'd try to trick Midoriya!?"

Peter snorts, "'Little' of you? Maybe cause you always seem to come up short?... You don't always 'measure up' to my expectations?... You want me to keep going or you gonna tell me the real reason?"

Ignoring Mineta's indignant cries, Kaminari finally answers, "I'm actually serious about the training." He replies shyly whilst rubbing his arm.

The group stare with mild shock. "You are?" Mineta says with a disgusted face.

"Yea… I-Island, it- it made me realize I really need to step it up. I mean y-you already know what happened there Parker."

He gives Peter a meaningful look and the American flashes back to the time he was poisoned by scorpion. He feels a shiver run down is spine as hi brush with death came to mind but it was quickly dispelled, unbeknownst to him by the symbiote's doing.

Mineta begins to feel left out as each member of the group adopts a strange expression at the reminder of the terror attack that had befallen the technological marvel. Feeling impatient, to se the his female classmates really, he improvises.

"That's why us heroes in training need to kick it into gear!" He points at the door leading to the pool and puffing out his chest. "We need to go beyond! Plus Ultra!"

"He's right! Come on Parker!" Midoriya motions for him to follow as he determinedly runs to the door.

Peter sighs, "Bless his gullible heart."

Kaminari shrugs and smirks, "something tells me he isn't as gullible as you think."

"Why's that?"

His answer came in the form of a heartbroken wail from the resident pervert. Checking what the fuss was about, Peter couldn't help but laugh as he sees not only Midoriya, but the rest of the male classmates of 1A. And to his pleasure, Mineta on the ground crying blood.

"No no no! What're you doing here?!"

With an innocent smile, a little too innocent in Peter's opinion, Izuku replies, "Since we're doing endurance training at the pool, I messaged everyone to see if they'd like to come with us!"

"You did what?! Oh no, now all my plans are ruined!" Mineta shakes a fist in his face as he continues to cry.

Then he pops up and The class could've swore that saw a lightbulb materialize over his head, "Wait! That means there'll still be babes splashing around the water!"

He turns with a grin that gets wider as he sees the girls of 1A in school issue swimsuits stretching. Much to Peter's disgust, he sees Mineta adopt a look of serene Zen as if all his prayers were answered.

"That's more like it."

Kaminari facepalms, realizing that if he hadn't have gone through what he did in I-Island, he'd be just the same. "Like looking at an evil twin huh?"

Kaminari half heartedly glares at Peter's shit eating grin. "Yea yea I deserve that."

Tenya, like a predator after it's prey, approaches Mineta and Kaminari with his arms wide open, " Kaminari, Mineta, nice work! I'm proud of you suggesting more training. You're an asset to our class! Let me thank you!"

The two gulp as his face shadows slightly, adding a sinister feel to his last sentence. Watching the two get dragged away Peter couldn't help but ask his neighbor, "Did you… did you plan this?"

"Plan what?"

"Oh come on it's clear as day that they were gonna use your innocence to help their perverted dreams come true."

Izuku, still with the suspiciously innocent expression, faces his friend and asks, "Are you implying that I saw through their trick and decided to tip Iida off about the pool day and have him run us ragged just to teach them a lesson?"

His mouth agape, Peter couldn't help but stare at his friend. "You, evil genius! Where did all this come from?"

He shrugs, "Learned from the best."

"You flatter me!"

"I meant Iron man."

Peter glares, "Traitor."

Chuckling, Izuku shakes his head, "You know. I think Kaminari was genuine though, I think I-Island changed all of us in some ways."

"Yea," Peter agrees, the skin where the symbiote was attached to developing black veins for a brief second before disappearing, "You're telling me."

"PARKER, MIDORIYA! YOU'RE DELAYING OUR ENDURANCE TRAINING! OUR PRECIOUS TIME IS WASTING!"

Peter rolls his eyes while Izuku jumps. Peter stops him from running to attention, "Don't get your panties in a bunch four eyes can wait."

Izuku double takes as Peter leisurely strolls to the fuming Iida. Huh, he hasn't called him that since the first day.

As the girls have their fun playing their rounds of volleyball, the boys go through the rigorous training that Iida efficiently planned in such short notice. After ending the friendly game, despite Uraraka's intentions, the girls all decide to relax in the pool, with Mina floating on her back with a grin and a satisfied groan.

"this was such a perfect pool day!"

"I don't think the guys can say the same." Jiro points a finger a the guys with a snort.

The girls are actually surprised to see Kaminari leaping into action as soon as Iida blows the whistles, visibly struggling to keep up with the rest of the boys but clearly putting a lot more effort than he normally does.

"Hh, didn't think jamming way could actually focus on an activity that didn't involve looking up girls skirts." She comments.

"He's not always like that." Mina lightly defends.

Much to her classmates surprise. "How do you know?"

Mina raises an eyebrow and a faint grin, "jealous?"

Jiro rolls her eyes and waits for the usual pestering that Mina does whenever she falsely assumes she sees any romantic undertones… but it doesn't come.

Instead she surprises her classmates again with a shrug, "We're all trying to become heroes! That means we gotta take our training seriously! I ain't gonna enjoy it much but I'm looking forward to kicking ass during summer camp!"

Momo and Asui share a confused look as the frog quirked girls states, "That's a pretty big change Mina."

"In a good way!" Momo quickly adds, "It's not exactly a secret that the two of you have such easy going view of UA."

"It's cool to see that we'll all be doing our best in camp!" Uraraka cheerily chips in.

Mina glances at the boys and wears a saucy smirk. "Looks like the boys are already on it!" she states while admiring the shirtless states of the male classmates.

Jiro groans, "Aaand she's back to normal."

"Check it out Chaco, Midoriya's hiding some pretty big muscles under his baggy clothes!"

The brunette blushes and stammers, "s-Stop objectifying him! I-I mean all of them!"

Mina laughs heartily and stops the vice class rep just as she opens her mouth, "Aht aht! Don't get me started on you too yaomomo! I mean check out Parker."

Against her better judgement, Yaoyorozu does so and her jaw drops slightly.

"Hm, does Parker look bigger than before?"

Momo breath hitches as her eyes travel done. Yes indeed.

"we're talking about his muscles Yaomomo, I see where your eyes are!"

Letting out a 'meep', She blushes and hides her face as Jiro scolds her classmate.

Over with the boys, a 15 min break was announced by the Class rep, and with that, most of the boys lay out of breath on the ground except for Midoriya and Peter, the latter feeling pretty good despite the hard work.

Hands on his knees and panting, Midoriya, astonished, comments, "You're breezing right through this Parker!"

Rolling his shoulder Peter just shrugs, " Eh I don't wanna brag or anything."

Iida opens a cooler filled with energy drinks and hands them off generously, "Drink up everyone!"

"nice!" Sato exclaims.

"This is just what I needed, I feel alive again!" Sero says.

Kaminari nearly knocks Shoji down as he snatches a bottle and guzzles down its contents quickly, "Thirsty!"

"He seems to be taking his training seriously." The masked teen remarks.

Tokoyami crosses his arms as he gives the electric teen a respectful nod." It's best we all do, with summer camp coming up we don't know what to expect, we must do our utmost."

"You've been working out too huh?" Shoji asks Ojiro and Tokoyami.

The tailed teen sits up straighter on his tail, "yea, ever since summer vacation began I haven't let a day go by."

Peter watches him with thoughtful expression, "Doesn't sitting on your tail tire you out more? Or does your tail have it's own level of stamina?"

Not taking any offense seeing as how the whole class was aware of Peter's wonder and curiosity sometimes bypassing his own safety. "It does actually, my tail is significantly stronger and more durable than the rest of my body. I've found that I could meditate while suspending my body in the air for hours on end."

"That is just fascinating!"

"Parker! Can you come here please?"

The Class rep gestures for his classmate to join him and Izuku and for a moment they silently enjoy their drinks before Iida lets out a small chuckle.

"What's so funny?"

"I just thought it was strange." He sits on the pool deck and explains, "During the entrance exams, I didn't think I'd end up being such good friends with either of you. Frankly I didn't think much of you back then, and I'm sorry to say but I looked down on you as well Parker."

"I had no idea and frankly you didn't have to confess to that just saying."

Iida simply continues. "But during the practical exam, you Parker, focused on helping students to safety and you Midoriya, you prioritized Uraraka over passing the exam."

Izuku rubs his neck with a sheepish smile, "I was so happy, it had always been a dream of mine to attend All Mights Alma Mater someday, even though I knew it was a long shot. And then when Mr Aizawa said the person in last place for the fitness test would be expelled, I was sure I'd be going home."

Peter shakes his head, "Still say that was rigged. No chance in hell you scored lower than Mineta that day!"

"And you made that very well known Parker. Neither of you gave up on yourselves or each other even in the face of insurmountable odds. Here or on I-Island. Hh, we're students all the same, and yet I feel like I've so much to learn from the two of you as I do our teachers."

He gives Peter a look, "What was it again? With great power comes great responsibility?"

Peter waves him off, "That's my uncle talking not me."

"But a powerful lesson it is. Though I don't believe it gives us the right to act without restriction, it does remind me of what I and even Bakugo have lost… or maybe never found—"

"Like hell I'd lose to a damn nerd like you!" Bakugo screams as he stomps to the pool.

Peter rolls his eyes, "You kinda already did. And you lost to me too. Boy you've been doing that a lot despite all your tough talk huh?"

"What did you say?!"

"You heard me."

The blonde growls but Izuku and Kirishima get between them as Iida scolds Peter for antagonizing Bakugo. "Sorry we're late, we got your message though! It took a while to convince Bakugo."

"You didn't have to put so much effort."

"Parker!"

"What you telling me you're happy he's here too?"

"We need to be welcoming of all our classmates!"

"Yea yea."

Bakugo sparks his hands with little fiery explosions that alarms Peter much more than it should've. Fire… dangerous. A voice similar to his but distorted whispered but he shrugged it off. "You wanna settle who's the best between us right now bug boy?!"

"I think my gold medal from the Sports Festival speaks for itself."

Before Bakugo can get any angrier Tenya announces, "that's actually a good idea, we could make this training a contest. Hey everyone, I propose we see which of the boys can swim 50 meters the fastest, a friendly race!"

Ksaminari, now renewed with energy and itching to see just where he's at compared to the rest, pushes himself back to his feet, "yea! That sounds like fun!"

"let's do it!" Sato encourages.

"Iida", Momo calls out as her group approaches thanks to being alerted by Jiro of what she's overheard. "why don't you let us help you out with this?"

"Yes please!"

Ojiro raises his hand, "And Quirks. Can we use them?"

After a moment to think, Iida replies, "We're in school so there shouldn't be a problem with that. However! You cannot cause damage to your classmates or the building."

Undeterred, Bakugo growls at Deku with a savage grin, "I'm gonna annihilate you, Deku!"

"That should be instant disqualification." Peter murmurs.

"I heard that Bug boy!" Bakugo seethes.

"Is that ok?" Peter ask mockingly.

"As a matter a fact go fuck yourself!" He turns to Shoto who's leaning on the wall, "you too you icy hot bastard!"

Peter double takes, "what the-?! When did you get here?"

"I was here the whole time."

"Alright," Iida interrupts, "We'll go 4 at a time! Remember free use on quirks so long as you don't harm your classmates and/or school property."

As a few students volunteer to go first Peter rolls his neck as Izuku gulps, "S-so, who do think will take first place?"

"It ain't gonna be me that's for sure."

"Why do you think that?"

"Dude I'm from Queens new york, how good of a swimmer do you think I am?"

"Doesn't your school system have mandatory swimming lessons?"

"No most places you gotta pay for that separately. And we do have public pools but my aunt didn't want us going since she was sure that 90% of the water was actually piss."

He hears a snort next to him and his heart flutters when he realizes that it's Momo standing beside him. "A rather disturbing piece of the conversation for me to walk in to am I correct?"

The feeling of embarrassment goes away pretty quickly and Peter simply laughs it off, "It was but I'll gladly change it to whatever topic you'd like any time you want beautiful."

Izuku's eyes widen in shock as does Peter himself, who's brain short circuits but not nearly as much as Momo who's gotten redder than a lobster and seems to have lost her voice. Thankfully for her Iida calls her to start the race and she almost trips trying to get away meanwhile Peter slowly turns to Izuku.

"…Did … did that just actually?"

".Yes… yes it did."

"I actually hit on Yaoyorozu?"

"Yes. You did."

"… if I suddenly start to drown can you promise not to save me?"

"For you I just might agree."

Yaoyorozu blows the whistle and Kaminari, Tokoyami and Mineta all dive into the pool while Bakugo leaps up and uses his quirk to fly himself over the pool.

"Explosive Turbo! How was that you extras!?" Bakugo yells with a smirk.

Angered, Sero yells back, "What do you mean how was that?!"

"You didn't even swim!" Kirishima asks, just as upset.

"It's called free style swimming!" He retorts angrily.

Izuku face palms as Peter groans, "I knew something like this would happen."

Next up was Aoyama, Sero, Todoroki, Peter and Sato. As they get lined up, from the corner of his eye, Peter notices a slight build up of frost on Todoroki's right leg and he smirks as he gets an idea.

"Everyone on your marks! Get Set!" Yaoyorozu blows the whistle.

With a wink, Aoyama says, "~Bonjour~!" and uses his naval laser to launch himself into the lead, but he quickly loses the advantage as his beam falls short and he hurtles into Sero, disqualifying them both from the race. Meanwhile Todoroki is using the lines of the pool as a base to slide on with his ice until he feels a sudden weight on his back. Glancing up, he sees a sheepish Peter who gives him a simple, "my Bad."

And leaps off the recommended students shoulders which gives him a case of déjà vu. Peter lands on the other side of the pool with a sense of victory as the rest catch up.

"Hey that's cheating!" Kaminari screams.

"Oh really? Hang on let me check the rule book real quick." Peter pretends to pull out a book and dramatically licks his fingers and pretends to search through the imaginary pages, "Don't see any rules against it my win stands as is!"

"Make way for the last group!"

Midoriya, Ojiro, shoji, and Iida take their marks and once the whistle blows, they all dive, except for Iida who does the same lame slide as he did in the Sports festival. "oi." Peter muses as he shakes his head.

"You too Iida?!" Kaminari exclaims.

"come on Deku!"

The green haired teen can hear the encouragement from Uraraka and without hesitation, activated his quirk. "One for all, Full Cowling!"

The sudden boost of speed is apparent to everyone, most notably Iida who puts as much boost as he can to his engines. And yet Midoriya is still catching up rapidly, both of their competitive spirits at full display as they try with all their might to reach the finish line first. They both yell as the final leg of the race approaches and they reach out… with Midoriya hitting the line first.

Peter pumps a fist into the air, "YES!"

The class cheering amazement.

"Nice one Midoriya"! Sero exclaims.

Mina happily gives props to the class rep, "Iida was so close!"

Todoroki watches on as the heir of One for All helps Iida out of the pool, displaying true sportsmanship.

"Midoriya." He whispers.

"Any reason you just starin?"

Todoroki doesn't show his surprise at Peter's sudden appearance. "I didn't realize you were standing there."

"Now you know what it feels like!"

"Hh." He goes back to staring at Midoriya and Iida who both return the look and meaning behind it as they give each other a nod of respect.

"… So again any reason ya'll are just staring and nodding?"

Todoroki snorts lightly through his nose, "Just realizing the depths of my respect."

"Yea everyone here will do that to ya… Except Mineta." Peter adds with a glare as The pervert was taped up just in time to prevent him from getting a hold of one of their female classmates.

A dark anger rises inside Peter's chest as he sees the small ravenous hero wannabe wail in despair. Why is he even here anyway? All the shit he pulled he should've at least been expelled. But oh no Aizawa turns a blind eye to that and yet keeps riding on my and Midoriya's ass. Fuck him!

He blinks, surprised by his line of thought. Whoa. Where'd that come from? Yea I haven't been the most satisfied by Aizawa's… methods, but I didn't know I was this angry. A calmness rushes over him and he feels relief again, Ah I'm probably just worn out from all the swimming, spiders and water don't really go together!

"It's time for the final race!" Iida announces with his hands on his hips, "Bakugo, Parker, Midoriya! As winners of each heat, you'll fight for first place, understood?"

"Got it!"

"Yea."

"Listen up bug boy! I'm coming for you, and don't you dare hold ba—"

Peter's loud and obnoxious yawn cuts off his rant, much to his rage. "Oh sorry you were still going?"

Kirishima has to hold back Bakugo who's hands keep popping with mini explosions as he tried to rush the american. Peter laughs openly and both Yaoyorozu and Midoriya notice a weird dark glee in his eyes, like he's enjoying how much he's provoking Bakugo.

Peter glances at Iida, "ain't ya gonna do something about this oh great leader? He's trying to harm his fellow student."

"Bakugo please calm yourself!"

"Once I wipe that smug grin on his face then I'll calm down!"

"Then the 50 meter freestyle final race will begin now!"

The 3 take their places at the on the edge of the pool.

"Go Bakugo!" Kirishima cheers.

"don't kill each other!" Kaminari yells.

"don't lose Pete!" Mina shouts.

"Do your best Deku!" Uraraka screams with a hop.

"Everyone!" Yaoyorozu shouts.

Peter and her make eye contact and her eyes soften in a way to convey her support and he winks in reply. She's flustered but continues as she announces, "On your marks!"

Bakugo's palms spark, ' I'll fly across at once!'

Peter stares at the water, 'The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout!'

Midoriya powers up One for All, 'I'll swim to the finish with everything I've got!'

"Get set!"

She blows the whistle … and Bakugo and Midoriya both fall into the pool while Peter leaps to the other side without issue.

"oh hey I wo—Mr aizawa?"

To the class's shock, the teacher's quirk is activated, causing both Bakugo and Midoriya to lose their momentum but no one missed how Peter was completely unaffected.

"did you see that?"

"it didn't work on him?"

"you think Aiwawa's eyes are to dry maybe that's why it didn't work?"

Peter can hear their murmurs loud and clear, inside he's freaking out. But it feels so much worse this time, it's like his paranoia has been elevated to 15. Oh my god they're getting suspicious, there's no way they wouldn't find this to be weird! Do they think I'm a freak? Are they gonna hate me? What if they start rumors? What if they find out? Then it'll spread it's gonna get to norman, I know it! He's gonna find out everyones gonna die!—

"you're pool time is up, enough chit chat" Aizawa cuts off his train of thought.

Thankfully, Bakugo is kicking up a big stink too, Damn it! Stopping the race like that!"

Aizawa's eyes flash red again as he glares at the blonde, "Are you questioning me?"

Bakugo glares away, "no."

He looks at the class and they snap to attention and reply in unison, "Not at all Mr Aizawa!"

"good. Now go home."

Peter watches as the rest of the class slink away, Midoriya sending him a questioning look but Peter waves him off. The last to go are both Yaoyorozu and Peter. She gets in his way as he tries to speed walk back in the building, "Are you ok?"

"Y-Yea I'm fine. Just surprised is all."

She stares worriedly, "You don't look surprised but you seem, worried instead?"

He doesn't answer and she reaches a hand to his cheek, "You can talk to me you know that right?"

He gently grabs her hand and pushes it away, "Among other things too right?"

She shocked by his reply and he uses the moment to walk around her, regretting it as he does so.

15 min later

Thanks to All Might, Midoriya didn't have a chance to talk to Peter about what happened and Parker was able to avoid most of the classmates after changing, nearly sprinting out of the locker room as soon as they began getting changed into their street attire. But of all people to run into on his way out, he did not expect it to be Tony Stark.

"whoa kid what got you in a hurry?"

"Mr Stark? Oh uh nothing just you know it's a… a… what're you doing here?"

Tony gives him an unimpressed look but decides to appease Peter for now. "A special meeting between All Might, me and principal Mickey mouse concerning point break's and my star pupil."

"Really? What for?"

"Let's head into the teachers lounge, we don't want to have private conversations like this in the open."

Peter follows the billionaire and enters the lounge, finding Midoriya there with All Might.

"I guess everyones invited to this party."

"To which we arrived fashionably late!"

Peter takes a set next to Midoriya, fist bumping his friend as he does so.

"So what's this about Mr Stark?"

We needed to talk about I-Island. And the Green Goblin."

Peter's blood goes cold for a moment at the reminder of the villain. "what did you find out?"

All might adopts a look of shame as Tony adopts one of frustration, "nothing."

Both student are shocked. "what?"

"what do you mean nothing?" Peter asks.

"nothing at all. No other name or alias, we couldn't find anything that matches his features in facial recognition. All equipment used in the attack were from third party sources, nothing that could implicate him. The stuff his did use that we could get our hands on were torched, someone in forensics must've been on his payroll or something and tampered with everything we had on him. It's like he came out of no where."

"… so… so what happens now? I mean did you try to see if there's any connection between him and Osborn? There's obviously a connection!"

Tony shakes his head, "other than your and your classmates testimony, nothing. And we can't launch an investigation on just hearsay."

Peter's hands are shaking and his voice starts to get louder, "This isn't hearsay though! This is Osborn it's all Osborn! We know this!"

"It's not about what we know, it's about what we can prove kid."

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

Everyone is stunned silent by his outburst by the sheer anger the boy is radiating, neither Izuku nor Tony has ever seen him so angry.

"This guy comes in and tears everyones life apart all he wants and we just gotta sit here and take it?! What if he comes after Aunt May!? What then?!"

"Peter you need to calm down." Tony tries to placate him but it only frustrates Peter more.

"Calm Down?! I CAN'T CALM DOWN! don't you get that?! I have to spend every moment of my life wondering what he'll do next cause your just sitting there with your thumb up your ass and telling me you'll handle it after every other fucking disaster, how am I supposed to stay calm!?"

Izuku tries to calm him down, "Par—"

"Get your hands off me!" He shrugs off his friend and stomps out the room, slamming the door hard enough for cracks to appear near the hinges.

Izuku looks hurt by the rejection but All Might comforts him, "He's under a lot of pressure Midoriya Shonen, please don't take it personal."

"Youre right, I think he needs to know he's not alone."

With that Izuku heads out and tries to find his friend while Tony watches the door sadly.

"His reaction is very troubling." All Might comments.

"It's justified."

"How so?"

"That kid… he's lost a lot more than he knows thanks to Osborn. Of all the villains I've fought, hes the one who I can say is pure evil. He might even make All for One seem like the ideal baby sitter in comparison. This is too much for him. For any of them."

All Might shakes his head, "They're much stronger than you know."

"but they're still just kids. You know as well as I do that all the stuff we go through, it's hard enough to deal with decades of experience. You and I have seen our fair share of friends who've snapped. Remember what happened with Hank Pym? And what he did to Janet?"

All Might's heart sinks. That was probably the one experience he regrets the most. All the time he spent in America, working alongside these heroes, him and David Shield spending countless hours in the lab with Hank to improve their hero projects and yet He was completely blind to what was happening right under his nose. None of them knew until they day found that their latest argument resulted in Janet being hospitalized for 3 weeks.

"I… I remember… Do you believe the children could end up on that path?"

"I pray to Thor and any other diety out there that they aren't. And if they are? That we can find a way to pull them out of that abyss."

Authors note: Welp, long time no see! As I already explained, life stuff happens! And here is the beginning of the symbiotic saga! As you can see it's already affecting peter, you'll see how things shape up from here. also i have a good reason for why Aizawa's quirk doesn't work on Peter here. As it's stated in the manga, Aizawa's quirk doesn't work on other quirks that are mutation, so thanks to Shigaraki's quirk mutating, he cna no longer erase it. And since Spiderman is classified as a human mutate, a normal human who's DNA was mutated to give him powers by outside forces, it falls udner that category for Mr Aizawa so he's unable to do so Peter or anyone whos abilities are were broguth about by the Formula. I think that happened in one of the 90's x men cartoons too where they crossed over with spdierman and they showed how his DNA was different from mutantd and so what would work on them wouldn't work on him and vice versa. Anyway, I'll be getting to working on the next chapters. thanks to eevryone whos kept up though and also favorited, reviewed and followed!

Next chapter is gonna start with goblin and the villains cause we gotta give them some time to shine!

Also everyones else's reaction to the I-Island situation, including Bakugo's will be shown in the enxt chapter as well, as you can see influenced PEter is enjoying provoking Bakugo so that'll be one of his jabs.

Also after rewatching no way home several times, i now can't hear green goblin without Willem Dafoe's voice. Like the normal nprman voice i hear the guy who voiced norman in spectacular spiderman but the green goblin voice i hear/think of willem dafe's voice, especially that laugh!

Also the battleworld thing i was thinking of was the whole beyonder arc from the old cartoon shows. I've binged that one, the 80s spiderman, the 2000s spiderman, the ultimate spdierman and halfway thrgouh the 2017 spiderman (was not feeling it on that one, it wasn't bad but i felt like the new spin to some fo the story arcs jsut fell flat you know?).

Guest: Yea i intentionally made PEter an amateur cause he is. He literally just started being spiderman and is learning to be a hero. I hate when any character starts as an OP and i wanted him to struggle. I made that clear several times since i started my story, havent you read any of the authors notes?

TheGreatGodzilla: Ionly envision toga as similar to a vampire, msotly cause there was a fanfic i once read where they had an explanation that toga needs Blood as a soruce of food and the reason for her insanity is cause she's basically malnourished and it's causing an imbalance in her body. I don't know i liekd that cause it made sense. I wasn't going to do anythign concerning null honestly, it was an alright storyline but i didn't like it enoguht o want to include it in my story. I probably won't go with morlun or the mystical stuff but i thoguht maybe Peter's 'quirk' can go throguh secondary evolution to give him more abilities in the future or at least the upgrade he got during the other storyline. I think it's only fair since everyone else got an upgrade lol. ave not thoguth of the hybrid dNA though.

Guest: The aunt may thing happened in spiderman 2 and in ultimate comcis as well. I think with ultimate comics the one thing they did right was spiderman, i really feel liek they should've focused on that isntead of recreating the whole marvel universe.

Servant of the Flame: Thanks and yea i know its rushed soemtimes cause i end up rushign mysef to get these chapters out but i need to relax that mind set to flesh things out more so i've been tryign to go back and add things to make things more coherent. Which is why i will try to take my time during the symbiotic arc. Sometimes he'll be angry other times he'll be alright kinda like an addict. Black cat i actually want to save for the story i set when they're adults, like mid 20's age. And thank yuo for the suggestions concerning the sinister six, i have added the chameleon early on but i think he'll do small jobs for green goblin for now cause he's not really up to par as the rest of his villaisn when it comes to fights. maybe to mess up peters life a bit though. Watchdog Man of justice: Well Iida jsut randomly ran into the acene in the original movie so he jsut did it 'off screen' i guess you could say. a lot of times i'll skip certain scenes jsut cause spiderman isn't there or you can jsut watch or read that part since i don't want to make it a complete copy and paste of the yea i jumped the gun with the whole superman thing, maybe hyperion or one of the eternals, and yea i nerfed the marvel heroes cause theyre all too powerful for the MHA verse, i'd say theyre at the level they are in some of the cartoons and/or movies so that their inclusion won't jsut end with they dogwalking every villain. I had to basically brign ironman to his ironman 1 and 2 level so that he can still have a plausible amount of difficulty in the MHA verse. He'll get to a higher level as will everyone else. And the students all exhcanged numbers off screen so they did so in the story too. I am trying to go back and fix some things but time doesn't always allow me. I have had people act as a beta a few times before but they end up over stepping and trying to change my story too much. Like an example was ocne i made a percy jackson fanfiction and when i beta'd with someone, they tried to change things so that zues snapped his fingers and destroyed earth which i definitely did not want and then he tried to take ownership fo my story and it became a whole thing and i deleted the whole story so he couldn't use me as a basis any more. It left me with a abad taset in my mouth concerning beta's. I'd like to give it a try again but tis' hard to trust soemone again after that. everyones reaction to ti i kinda skipped cause i was rushing to get the story out honestly. I felt bad for making eveyrone wait so long for it at the time and now look at where i am with the lenght of time that passed now.
