"Hohoho! So that's what happens when Summer never came back… it gets a lot more depressing! And a lot more entertaining for yours truly!"
He smirked. "So, now we know what happens now if Summer never returned… I guess everyone's glad she stuck around for a while, because apparently, Oran doesn't die! …Speaking of Oran, I just received word that something's happening in the main universe. Let's take a look in there, shall we?"
Back in the main universe…
"Gah!" Dark Pit yelped, sitting up from his bed. "Ugh… why did I have a dream of myself killing Oran…"
Knock knock knock
"Ugh… what now?" Dark Pit grumbled as he walked to the front door, rubbing his eyes from his nap. "Shez, this better not be you getting lost again."
He opened up the door… to see Ruby, Yang and Byleth glaring at him with arms folded.
"...Okay, what did my twin brother do?"
"He didn't do anything… but you, on the other hand… you know what you did to Oran." Yang glared.
"Huh? I didn't do anything to the little squirt. What the hell are you talking abou-"
Yang punched him in the face to knock him back inside, then she walked in with Ruby and Byleth following him.
Back with Hades…
"Ah, nothing like sprinkling a little bit of motivation into the trio of sisters to pummel Pittoo. Don't you just love chaos?" He chuckled as he went back to checking out the universes, until one caught his attention.
"Ooooh, what do we have here? Fascinating!" He smirked as he looked up. "Soooo, we all know the story of when good ol' Dimmy boy put Ruby in that pool of Phazon and she got herself some fancy new Phazon powers as a result. So fancy that she used it on Dark Ruby to finish her off! But… let's say that Ruby does away with her Phazon entirely. Wonder what'll happen? Let's find out!"
What If… Ruby Gave Up Her Phazon?
"I smell good things for this one!"
"Do I think it is symbolic if the corrupted Rose unleashed it into the galaxy?" Dr. Toadley handed the Star Cure to Ruby. "I most certainly do."
Ruby stared at the Star Cure in her hands. "With this… we can get rid of the Phazon for good." She frowned right after. "But… it would also mean that I'd no longer have Phazon coursing through my body and honestly, I've grown used to it, so I'm not sure what to do."
"Allow me to help with that." Yukari walked over and snapped her fingers as Ruby glowed. "There, manipulated some boundaries. Even if the Star Cure gets rid of the Phazon, you can now use your Phazonic abilities in your spell book. Powering up your friends and what not. Oh, and your Phazon will stick around when you go into your Zinogre form as a cosmetic."
"Oh… uh… thanks."
Yukari smiled. "You're welcome." She said, opening up a gap and reaching in to pull out a wine glass.
Ruby looked at the Star Cure, deep in thought as she nodded in determination. "Star Cure, hear my plea… cure the universe of the Phazon!" She smiled right after. "And cure my Phazonic abilities too!"
Yukari did a spit take. "HUH?!" She yelled in surprise as the Star Cure glowed, getting rid of Ruby's phazon and her phazonic abilities as it then flew off to take care of the rest of the Phazon in the universe. "Wha-... what are you-"
"I'd say it's for the best." Samus said. "No one should have Phazon in them, and quite honestly, I'd rather not have this nightmare linger a second longer."
"Yeah, I did this for Samus's sake." Ruby smiled.
Yukari groaned. "I did that for nothing…"
"Aw, cheer up, Yukari!" Yuyuko put her hand on her shoulder. "You tried your best~"
"That doesn't make me feel better…"
"Aw, you need a hug. C'mere~!" Yuyuko pulled her into a smothering hug.
"Let's go!" Ruby said as they all headed back to Remnant.
Later that night…
"Mmm…" Ruby groaned in her sleep, turning slightly and twitching. "Zzzz…"
Inside the dreamworld…
Ruby walked around a big open field, softly humming to herself when she saw Zwei prancing ahead. "Zwei!" She walked over to him as he suddenly barked and lunged at a butterfly flying back. "Hey, Zwei! Wait up!" She ran after him.
Zwei leaped over some flowers as he continued to chase the butterfly… but when Ruby stepped over them, the ground caved in and she started falling. "Waaaaaaaaaaah!" She yelped as she found herself falling in a dark abyss.
"So much to do…"
"Huh?"
"So little time…"
"Who said that?" Ruby asked as she was enveloped in a bright light, she covered her eyes as the bright light overwhelmed her… until she found herself in Isle Delfino. "What… Delfino?"
"If you could be anything you wanted to be… who would you choose to be?"
"What?" Ruby looked around as the Pianta Statue rose up in front of her.
"An Adventurer-"
A lighthouse rose up next to it.
"A Maiden-"
And then the Shine Gate rose up as well.
"Or even a super hero. Choose wisely."
"Uuuum…" Ruby folded her arms, rubbing her chin in thought. "Is this gonna be on the test later because uh… I don't think I've studied for this."
Ruby folded her arms, deep in thought as she smiled. "Well, I do like adventuring with my friends. Maidens have a lot on their plate… I don't wanna be like Aunt Raven, that seems too much of a responsibility. And super hero… eh… I've read too many comic books to know that I'd lose someone I cherish if I become a super hero… or having to keep my identity a secret. Ugh, too much pressure!"
She turned to the Pianta statue and walked over to it as a M portal appeared before her as she was sucked into it, and then she fell once more… soon finding herself in a Phazon covered Bianco Hills.
BGM: Slimy Spring Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy 2)
"HUH?!"
"You have become an adventurer. However, there is Phazon in your way. Do you walk through it and become one with Phazon once more… or do you find a way around it? The path is yours."
Ruby clenched her fists. "I've had it with this Phazon junk." She said as she found a palm tree that wasn't covered in phazon as she climbed up and looked around, finding a windmill for her to safely get up on as she crossed a few wires with the phazon below her.
At that moment, a plume of phazon shot up from the ground and struck the wiring, severing it and causing Ruby to fall to the Phazon. "NO!" She yelled as she used her semblance to get across the bridge, finding some wiring and then jumped up, latching onto another tower and climbed up.
She looked directly at the big windmill, seeing a Shine Sprite inside. She immediately headed over there, quickly latching onto some rope and made it to the Shine Sprite. With a smile, she reached over for it, but suddenly a wall of Phazon blocked her. "Ack!"
"There is a wall of Phazon in your path. Do you destroy yourself collecting the Shine Sprite?"
"No… there's got to be a different way." She said to herself.
Ruby jumped off, making sure there wasn't any phazon waiting for her at the bottom as she went up the ramp until she found herself on top of the windmill, which shattered in front of her. She immediately jumped down and sky dived her way in, where a pool of phazon awaited her.
However, she saw a ledge for her to grab on to, which held the Shine Sprite from the outside. She immediately used her semblance to get to it and snagged the Shine Sprite. She lifted it high into the air where the Shine Sprite's light eradicated the Phazon everywhere.
"By thinking outside the box, you chose not to touch the Phazon once more. Just like how you eradicated the Phazon in the universe with your light, you eradicated the Phazon in Bianco Hills. Because of that, you saved countless lives that you had not seen. The trees, the fish, the fauna… you have saved them all."
Ruby blushed a bit. "Well, I do what I can…" She giggled, as the Shine Sprite glowed brightly, enveloping her in light once more.
When the light disappeared, Ruby found herself on top of Death Mountain. "Whoa…!" She yelped as she caught herself, then found a shield near her.
"You can take the path by walking, or you can take the path by sliding down. The choice is yours."
Ruby took the shield. "Link makes this look easy!" She said as she proceeded to shield surf down the mountain, shredding through the gravel with ease.
"Sooo, what exactly is the point of this segment?"
"Nothing really. Just wanted to see if you wanted to have some fun."
"Got ya!" Ruby smirked as she surfed her way down to the base of Death Mountain where a finish line awaited her, where she went through the finish line… and teleported onto a platform where three cookies appeared before her.
"Which cookie do you want to have? Choose well."
"Hmm…" Ruby went to the first one.
"Oatmeal Raisin: With this cookie, you-"
"Gross!" Ruby tossed it behind her.
"A very valid response."
Ruby went to the next cookie.
"Snickerdoodle: With this cookie, you choose the power of fantasy."
"...What was the last one?"
"The power of reality."
"Ugh, just when I thought Oatmeal Raisin couldn't get any sadder…" She mumbled as she went to the last cookie.
"Chocolate Chip Cookie: With this cookie, you choose-"
CHOMP!
"...The power of destiny. Alright then."
"Sorry, did you say something?" Ruby asked as she finished said cookie.
"Moving on."

Ruby found herself in the middle of a lava lake in the middle of the night. "Whoa! What the…?!" She yelled as she was on a platform.
"Be not afraid-"
"Kiiiinda hard not to considering where I am!"
"The closer you are to the light, the greater your shadow will be."
"My… shadow…?" Ruby turned her head to see her shadow growing larger before forming into Dark Ruby. "Mmmph!"
BGM: Fragment of Sorrow (Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix)
"But don't be discouraged. You have shown courage in resisting the Phazon and eliminating it entirely. If anyone can beat your shadow… it's you. Do not despair, stand up and fight."
Ruby took a deep breath and quickly got in her stance, opening her hand up in the air and summoned Crescent Rose. "...I'm not sure how I just summoned my scythe but who cares."
Dark Ruby simply smirked and pulled out her own scythe as the two lunged, both of them swinging their scythes and clashed against each other, both of them looking into each other's eyes as Ruby jumped back as Dark Ruby disappeared from Ruby's gaze.
She shifted her eyes and quickly ducked underneath the swing and quickly sweep kicked to knock her down and jumped back, shooting her a few times. Dark Ruby got back up, rolling her shoulders as she smirked and in a flash, she was right in front of her and grabbed her by the throat.
"Ghhh…!" Ruby groaned as Dark Ruby started to crush her throat. "...Mmmph!" She growled as lightning crackled around her and a burst of lightning hit Dark Ruby, knocking her back as Ruby went into her Zinogre Form.
"That's it! Keep going!"
Ruby let out a howl to boost up her strength as she lunged and clawed Dark Ruby as she blocked with her scythe, but Ruby grabbed said scythe as she vaulted over it, only for electricity to come out of her heel as she scissor kicked the scythe, breaking it in half.
Dark Ruby's eyes widened in disbelief as Ruby grabbed the sharp end and tossed it into the lava as Dark Ruby attempted to jab her with the hilt but Ruby caught her arm and twisted it, and then sent her crashing to the ground.
She then jumped back as she snapped her fingers as a lightning bolt struck Dark Ruby to paralyze her.
"It's OVER!"
Ruby lunged, holding Crescent Rose as she started to swing… when her scythe started to change form, not that she noticed right away.
"You have shown great worth. You have shown you are capable of great things. Dispelling the Phazon permanently proved that are you worthy… to be one of the light."
"HAAAAAAAAAH!" Ruby swung her newly formed Crescent Rose into Dark Ruby to finish her off, where everything faded into light shortly after.
"You have passed. Be one with your new formed power, Ruby Rose. You have earned it."

The next morning, Ruby woke up from her bed, rubbing her eyes. "Mmm… what kind of dream was that about?" She wondered as she got up and stretched, then went to get changed with a hum.
At that moment, a bright light flashed in her left hand. "Ack!" She yelped in surprise as she looked at her hand curiously. "What the…? Agh, great… I'm probably hallucinating." She said. "...Not to mention I feel weird."
She cautiously walked downstairs, constantly feeling her forehead to make sure she wasn't running a fever.
"Hey sweetie." Summer warmly greeted her. "...Are you okay?"
"I… I think so?" Ruby rubbed her head as Summer gently placed her hand on her forehead.
"You're not running a fever, that's good."
"I do feel weird though… like I feel like my body is… different."
"Ah, I get it. Growing pains."
"What? No, I don't feel like I've got a growth spurt going on… but this feels different. It kinda feels hard to describe."
"Ah! I get what she means." Yang said. "She has a stomachache from eating too many cookies from last night."
"What? No! I feel fine!"
"Juuuust teasing!" Yang grinned.
"Maybe you're just hungry? Rosie's making some scrambled Star Bit eggs, so maybe that'll get you feeling better."
"Hmm, probably." Ruby nodded.
One breakfast later…
"Mmmm… I still feel weird…"
"Is she okay?" Tai asked.
"She says she's been feeling weird since she woke up…" Summer folded her arms while Rosalina checked Ruby's forehead.
"You're not running a fever, sweetie."
"Yeah, I know… but I still feel weird. Maybe… can we go get me checked out by Mikan? See what's bugging me?"
"Seems kinda silly…" Yang said.
"Mmm, okay. We'll see what's bugging you." Summer nodded.
One trip to the Mushroom Kingdom Hospital later…
"Hmm…" Mikan finished checking her out. "Everything looks normal… I'm sure maybe she had a rough night. Probably some space lag."
"I don't think that-"
Suddenly, another flash of light appeared in her hand, this time a bit more intense. "Gah!" Ruby yelped, which also startled Ruby's family and Mikan.
"...Huh." Mikan jotted down in her notes. "Well, random spurts of flashbangs happen from time to time-... wait… no, it doesn't!"
"Cool. She's got silver hands." Yang said. "...That's a thing, right?"
"Absolutely not." Summer said.
"Of course it isn't. If there were such a thing as Silver Hands, Salem would have died by someone throwing hands at her." Qrow chuckled.
"Goodness me… when did this happen?" Mikan wondered.
"It happened this morning, but I thought I was just hallucinating something, so I didn't even think twice about it."
"Well, it's certainly not a hallucination…" Mikan mused. "Honestly, this one's stumping me. I wish I could be of more help but I dunno if I have a diagnosis for this. Um… drink plenty of water and get some rest…?" She scratched the back of her head.
"I don't think that'll work…" Ruby sighed. "Thanks anyway, Mikan."
"You're welcome." Mikan nodded as they walked out of the hospital, and as they did, Sora walked by.
"Hmm? Oh hey guys." Sora waved. "What are you doing walking out of the hospital?"
"Ruby's saying she's feeling a bit weird. Undescribable weirdness." Yang said.
"Uh-huh. Try me."
"A flash of light happens in her left hand every once in a while." Summer explained.
"...Okay, weird." Sora said. "Did you have anything else happen to you?"
"I had this weird dream, something about "Me being worthy of the light" or some weird thing." Ruby shrugged.
"She told us this on the way to the hospital too." Tai explained.
"Worthy of the light…" Sora rubbed his chin. "That sounds very familiar, if I'm being honest. It almost sounds like… mmm… naaaah, can't be."
"What are you talking about?" Yang asked as Sora summoned the Kingdom Key and pointed towards it.
"It sounds like she had one of those dreams where you're about to become a Keyblade Wielder." Sora said.
"...Pffft! Yeah right, I don't think I'm worthy to wield one. If anything, it was probably just me having a dream of me being worthy to wield the Master Sword." Ruby said.
"Probably sounds more likely." Sora nodded.
At that moment, a flash of light appeared in Ruby's left hand again. "Yagh! What the heck…" Ruby said.
"Hmm… we should probably keep an eye on that though." Sora suggested with all of them nodding.
Several random flashes for weeks later…
"There is absolutely no way I'm going to let Blake have another panic attack over these X-Parasites." Weiss said.
"Then let's get going." Aqua said.
"Let's go, Ruby! Let's go save Blake!" Yang said.
"Yeah!" Ruby nodded as they climbed into the Thalassa Shell.
"Alright, WARCY… let's go!" Weiss said as Aqua flew off.
"So Ruby, how have you been holding up recently?" Aqua asked.
"I've… still been feeling weird. The flashes keep bugging me, I get these weird dreams that I don't really remember anything about… it's so… odd." Ruby said.
I wonder… Aqua thought to herself.
"You sure you're up for this?" Weiss asked with concern. "Because, we can take you home if you want-"
"No, I'm okay. We need to go save Blake." Ruby then noticed Chell looking at her with concern. "I'm fine, Chell… really."
["Okay… if you say so."]
These random flashes… I think I had a similar experience once before I-... hmm… Aqua fell deep in thought when they went into hyperspace. Could she…?
Later…
"Mmmph!" Blake whimpered as the Chozo Zombies inched their way forward.
"BLAKE!" Samus yelled, but more X-Parasites would get between them, preventing them from trying to save Blake.
Her legs trembled, her ears filled with fear… it was the BSL all over again, but probably worse. She held her breath as the Zombies charged in as Blake closed her eyes.
THUD!

"Huh…?" Blake opened her eyes to see black glyphs all around her, also behind her in case she fell off the edge. "Glyphs…?"
"GET AWAY FROM HER!"
Immediately after, Weiss, in her Fierce Diety form, slammed into the ground as icebergs shot up from the ground and skewered the Chozo Zombies.
BGM: Skyloft (Hyrule Warriors)
"Weiss?!" Blake exclaimed in shock, and then lightning bolts rained down on the X-Parasites as a crimson lightning tornado came through and Ruby, in her Zinogre form, came barreling through and slashed through the X-Parasites.
"Mmph…!" Ruby grunted as another flash in her hand appeared. I'm getting sick of this! She thought as her ears twitched as she turned around and fired a lightning bolt at another X-Parasite.
The train docked right after as Yang came charging through, going into her Shin form and punched the ground as draconic fire shot out of the ground and incinerated the X-Parasites, then Aqua came in and slashed through a few Chozo Zombies while Chell came in and kicked a Chozo Zombie in the face to knock it down.
"Chell?!" Samus exclaimed in surprise before shooting the Chozo Zombie and absorbing the X-Parasite.
"Briiiiiiice!" Glastrier came through as Calyrex unleashed Glacial Lance, clearing a path for them.
"Alright WARCY, we got SPBRR and… Penny and SAPR?" Weiss tilted her head. "Never mind about that. We got them and now we're getting the hell out of here! Move move move!"
"Right!" The rest of ARCY (Though Chell nodded) exclaimed as they moved into the train one by one as Samus shot a few X-Parasites and quickly boarded it.
"Holopana Vowlun. Bavalan: Jeronzoan."
The train took off soon after.

Weiss immediately went back to normal, sitting down and hugging Blake. "I can't believe you guys came." Blake smiled.
"You kidding? I got worried… then Calyrex guided us and we discovered you guys accidentally unleashed the X-Parasites, so we had to book it." Weiss smiled as Blake instinctively put her head on her lap.
"Glad we got here in time." Calyrex nodded.
"Sooooo, what's new with you guys? You formed a new team?" Samus asked, then noticed Ruby hugging herself. "...Ruby, are you okay?"
"I'm fine… I… I just feel… achy for some reason… I wasn't like this until we got to ZDR."
"Hmmm…" Aqua rubbed her chin
"Achy?" Yang immediately was concerned as she felt her forehead. "Okay, you're not running a fever."
"Yeah… I… I don't know how to describe it. I just feel so weird and-"
Another flash happened in her hand.
"THAT."
"Goodness me! How many times has this happened?" Penny wondered.
"I've set up a counter to determine how many times this has happened to Ruby. She has been flashing approximately between Christmas and now. These flashes have been happening regularly, so I've determined… three hundred and fifty five flashes already." SAPR said.
"You sure? It felt like a million times already…" Ruby said. "Eh… I'll be fine."
"Regardless, we need to get you out of here. This planet is an X-Parasite wasteland now." Weiss said.
"That's the problem… we can't leave." Samus said.
"...Beg pardon?"
"Yeah, there are a few EMMI that have some of Samus's abilities, and on top of that, Raven Beak has Rosalina's cosmic powers. So if we leave, that would mean that Raven Beak would take off and use Rosalina's powers for the wrong reasons." Penny explained.
"We have to stay here… regardless of it being a minefield of X-Parasites, unfortunately." Blake sighed.
"So you mean to tell me… we either stay here and possibly get infected, or we leave and Raven Beak bends the galaxy to his knees…" Weiss said, her eye twitching.
"I'm afraid so…" Rosalina nodded.
Weiss let out an annoyed groan. "Pardon my French here but… son of a BITCH!"
Mmm… why can't I shake this weird feeling off… Ruby thought to herself.
Later, during the fight with Raven Beak…
Raven Beak tore off his wing without flinching. "Atta krikilo idersontola hanna…" (You mildly impressed me.)
"Give it up! You might be strong but you're outnumbered!" Penny said, but Raven Beak ignored her.
"Rata anna iska ricrota atta, anna gopor itta cikaora ikka qweroto ista jiktra buskara. Colaco moofa!" (As I was watching you, I took the time to study this new ability. Cosmic energy!)
Rosalina clenched her fists. "That does not belong to you."
"Rik atta vontrare, anna horrto grissan itta akka jolovaratna." (On the contrary, I bore witness to the supernova.)
"Supernova… where are you going with this?" Rosalina asked with a hint of concern on her face.
"Ikka yuka wenklai olpoto… debvar ista jikka redkloa keru atta letruonka." (It was locked away… never to be activated for a century.) Raven Beak let out a chuckle. "Poloto urtona!" (Until now!)
"You what?!" Samus exclaimed in horror.
"Anna haroko gruston akka colaco moofa… asta anna jintro loryta ikka inka yedora atta runstraki klerto ghensti, Hosella." (I have trained with the cosmic energy… and I have used it in ways you possibly couldn't have imagined, Rosalina.)
Rosalina gritted her teeth. "You're bluffing. You haven't figured anything out… you're just saying that to terrify u-" Raven Beak suddenly disappeared, causing Rosalina to gasp as Raven Beak appeared behind her.
"Litta anna uston?" (Am I now?)
Raven Beak grabbed her by the throat, and then with a snap of his fingers, he suddenly produced cosmic clones of himself.
BGM: Duel of the Fates (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace)
"Shit!" Samus exclaimed.
"ANNA MANN KROSTRA IKKA UNTA COLACOA!" (I AM KING OF THE COSMOS!)
"You gotta be shitting me!" Blake exclaimed as Weiss went into Fierce Diety mode.
"Look alive, people! We got some clones to take down!" Weiss said as they all lunged, but the Raven Beak clones would attempt to make their lives hell while Raven Beak slammed Rosalina into the ground, picking her up telekinetically and shoving her into a wall.
He would then raise his hand up, conjuring up a giant meteor and throwing it at her. Rosalina pulled out her minigun and swiftly shot at the meteor, tearing it apart as chunks started to fall apart until a small rock was all that remained, harmlessly bouncing off of Rosalina's head, but then Raven Beak teleported to her and backhanded her.
Rosalina got back up, firing Star Bits at him but Raven Beak walked toward her in an electric shield. He would then backhand the minigun off of her and then swung his arm down, but she would jump to the side… only for Raven Beak to sweep kick her off the ground and then his arm wrapped around in cosmic energy and swung into her with an explosive cosmic punch, sending her flying toward a wall… and also breaking off her armor like it was nothing.
Rosalina bounced off the wall and fell to the ground, she caught herself with her hands as she got up and aimed her hand to try and unleash cosmic fire at him, but a few sparks flickered off of her hand. Raven Beak aimed his arm cannon with a chuckle and unleashed a firestorm on her. Rosalina quickly formed a forcefield around her, but Raven Beak snapped his fingers to cancel out the force field as Rosalina was consumed by the flames.
"AAAAAAAAAAGH!" She screamed as Raven Beak teleported to her and cosmic punched her again, sending her sliding across the ground. Rosalina got back up, glaring at him as she pulled out her Cosmic Launcher and fired a comet as he fired a comet as well, both of them colliding and making a large explosion, then Raven Beak jumped into the smoke right as Rosalina fired again, but Raven Beak caught it and then shoved the comet into her, causing her to scream in agony as she was launched to a wall.
"Ikka hitro istra jestik atta likka detto?" (Is that the best you can do?)
Ruby blocked an attack from a Raven Beak clone, noticing that Rosalina was getting the snot beaten out of her by Raven Beak. "Rosie!" She said as she jumped back. "Rrrgh!"
At that moment, the empty space in the palm of her hand started to faintly glow while Rosalina weakly got up, pulling out her spear and rushed over to him, swinging the spear at him but he caught it, and with a clench of the fist, he snapped it in half and then pulled back his fist for another punch. Rosalina used her shield to block it, but the one punch was enough to shatter the shield as Rosalina's eyes widened, then she used her meteor flail but he caught it and tossed it to the side. He then grabbed her by the throat and shoved her into the ground, punching her in the face repeatedly and then picked her up, watching blood drip from her nose and forehead.
"Rosie… ROSIE!" She yelled as the glowing started to get more intense as she instinctively ran toward the two.
"Ruby!" Yang called out.
"Leora anna man kedora ikka atta, istra pestorolika Redkintra ikka Pikuti nesto defta." (Once I am done with you, the goddess Palutena and Ibuki are next.)
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" Ruby screamed as she leapt in as the intensive glowing wrapped around the entire room.

"Argh!" Raven Beak growled as he was blinded as he felt Rosalina being released from his grip. At that moment, he swiped down at Ruby.

BGM: The Champion Mipha (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
Once the light cleared, everyone would see Ruby having her weapon clashing against Raven Beak's hand… but her scythe had finished forming into a new weapon.
Her very own Keyblade.
The blade was a fairly long red gun barrel, the teeth was Crescent Rose's blade with both ends sharpened to make an actual crescent. The handle was the same as the Divine Rose, with it's stain glass colors being red, white, black and yellow. The leaves were also silver.
As for the Keychain? It was Ruby's emblem.
Weiss's eyes widened. "Is that…?!"
"...A Keyblade!" Yang exclaimed.
"I knew it!" Aqua smiled.
"So that's what that glowing was…" Samus mused.
"My very own…" Ruby whispered. So, that's what that was about. Getting rid of the Phazon in my body gave me the ability to use one!
"Gracka musto Freybaka likera norto!" (Your own Keyblade means nothing!)
Ruby smirked as she jumped back, getting in a stance and twirling her Keyblade like her scythe as Raven Beak shot at Ruby, but she quickly used her semblance to get around him and slashed him in the gut and then slashed up high, where every swing she did, rose petals came flying out.
Ruby then jumped back and aimed her Keyblade at Rosalina, using a Cure spell to heal her as Raven Beak teleported to her and backhanded her away. Ruby quickly recovered and used her semblance to use a Rose Tornado to suck him up as she then jumped up and slashed him down to the ground as Ruby landed on her feet, but Raven Beak teleported again and telekinetically lifted her up in the air and slammed her into the ground.
"Mmmph!" Ruby grunted as Raven Beak slammed his foot into her chest.

"Ulla mathuria kelrso beatrena!" (You pathetic little weakling!)
Raven Beak kicked Ruby over to Rosalina. "Nnngh!" Ruby grunted as Rosalina's motherly instincts kicked in and put herself in front of Ruby. "Rosie, no…!"
"Utta yusno ga troina freshink ruta Subri? Freanta heumpa hiri krislopa!" (You want to die for Ruby? That can be arranged!)
Raven Beak aimed his arm cannon at them as Samus growled and ran toward the two, activating her Speed Booster.
"Hadar… sen Olmen!" He said, but then through his mask, he shifted his eyes and turned around, grabbing a hold of Samus by the throat.
"Genni atta bohema nakra atta henro nakka heram hanna? Atta debohanna plamise." (Do you truly believe you could defeat me? You overestimate yourself."
"Nnngh! Hrrrgh!" Samus desperately tried to reach out to him.
"Atta hunu hrulu mai sun postek. Sakki hadar Mathroid denashkun ikka hunu pelora maliatdus. Kinu atta vanthos dos mihu nubis?" (You no longer serve any purpose. Even your Metroid DNA is no longer necessary. Do you want to know why?)
Samus smacked her arm cannon into his arm, desperately trying to get out of his grip.
"Min sein balarhama anna bes bera lomi hanna hutar ninso manns Mathroid tarlon… Tamus Arlan." (It is because I can now clone an army of the most powerful Metroid of all… Samus Aran.)
Samus tried to reach out for him again, but to no avail.
"Hunu aita kran sarin issa hanna arma. Uni saki arta." (No one can stand in my way. Not even you.) Raven Beak let out a chuckle. "Jeftro reftin kilna ikso atta kolsto." (Their deaths will be on your hands.)
"Rrrgh… mmmph!" Samus grunted, started to lose consciousness.
"Anta mahardatara… denahi itta nendush hanna. Musar atta gidar hentra." (Foolish daughter… leave the galaxy to me. Close your eyes and rest.) He then chuckle. "Anna ruto keson atta ikso ista sefrosta. Anna jedikko Hioa Kila. Anna kuro qurlio neast Clostra Wopora jenko FaLoRena." (I will let you on a secret. I killed Old Bird. I also tipped off the Space Pirates about K2L.)
Samus let out a gasp… before she went limp and her visor went dark as everyone looked on in horror, too weak to even move as they stared at Raven Beak held Samus's limp body. "No…" Blake whispered, a tear forming in her eye.
"Hadar… sen olmen."
"…Kipolo ikka wefrak olo gernoi inka jinkai nisto mihu olo trathe, sejikino ikka freyu." (Those who deface or destroy our relics will know our wrath, unfettered and raw.) Samus spoke.
"Hmm?" Raven Beak let out a chuckle. "Anna detsomo sadar. Inka Chozo frumo esto itta Fapora Irsala looko anna jedikko lorto." (I remember that. The Chozo said that in Tallon IV before I killed them.)
Aura suddenly flared up on Samus's hand. "YOU MURDERER!" She screamed. "HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Her armor suddenly changed into the Metroid armor, her arm successfully reaching for his helmet and screamed as loud as she could. Raven Beak yelped in surprise and tried to shoot her off with his laser, but it was to no avail as she shoved him into the ground and broke his helmet, while at the same time, she was unwittingly draining Itorash's energy.
"Waaaah!" Ruby yelped. "What's going on?!"
"She's draining this ship's energy!" Adam exclaimed. "Brace yourselves, this is gonna get bumpy!" He said as Samus continued to scream as Itorash crashed hard onto ZDR's surface. Luckily, a semi conscious Rosalina used force fields on everyone to shield themselves from the wreckage. Ruby tried to help out by trying to use a Reflect spell but nothing came out to help her out before they slammed into the ground.
Once they came around, Ruby looked at her Keyblade with a tilted head as Aqua approached her. "I don't get it…" She said.
"What's wrong?" Aqua asked.
"I should've been able to use magic like you guys, right? I did a healing spell on Rosie but… when I fought Raven Beak with my Keyblade, it… it didn't do much damage to him."
Aqua gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't fret, we all had to learn how to properly use these Keyblades at one point. I'll help you out when we get back home." She winked.
Ruby smiled. "Okay!"
"I wonder though…" Aqua rubbed her chin. "Do you still have Crescent Rose?" She wondered.
"I think this still is Crescent Rose. It just formed into a Keyblade." Ruby said as she raised it up high as her Keyblade transformed back into its scythe form.
"Well, that answers that." Aqua nodded as Ruby nodded, then watched it form back into its Keyblade form.
"Alright, let's go help Samus ou-aaaaaand she just snapped his neck." Ruby said as Samus approached them, however, an X-Parasite came over and floated over to Raven Beak's corpse, but in a flash, Ruby used her semblance to get to said X-Parasite and destroyed it with one swing of her Keyblade.
"Don't even think about it."
"Boop boop." ROB said.
"Yeah, you're right. Definitely saved us a headache." Samus agreed, when suddenly the planet started shaking. "Agh, what now!"
"Well, surprisingly, the massive impact from Itorash was enough to cause the generator inside Artaria to fall into the magma. In turn, it caused a massive disruption and it's causing severe damage to the core. You need to get out of there now."
"Let's go." Rosalina said, closing her eyes and finding Samus's ship and the Gummi Ship. "Found 'em." She teleported them straight for the ships as everyone ran toward the ships.
Samus instinctively reached for the controls, something that Adam quickly noticed. "Don't! You'll drain the ship's energy!"
"Rrrrgh… damn!" Samus growled. "Now what are we gonna do?!"
"Kerdora anna ikka desisto." (Perhaps I can assist.)
SPBRR, Adam, Pichu, Newt and the Atlas Sisters turned to see none other than Quiet Robe. "Henkin Maradis…" Samus whispered, before she aimed her arm cannon at the X-Parasite, but Quiet Robe put his hand out, signaling that he came in peace.
BGM: Luma (Super Mario Galaxy)
Samus lowered her arm cannon and before Samus could say anything, the X-infected Chozo morphed back into an X-Parasite and went inside Samus's armor, which brought it back to the Gravity Suit.
"Vurank atta, Tamus." (Thank you, Samus.) She would hear a soft voice inside of her head.
"Why… why would the X-Parasite help us…?" Blake wondered in confusion.
"I suppose the X-Parasites are more complex than we thought... to forsake it's own survival for Samus's... maybe Quiet Robe's last memories influenced it in some way?" Rosalina guessed.
Samus closed her eyes. You're welcome, Quiet Robe…
"Ahem… the evacuation?" Palutena reminded.
"Oh! Right." Samus hopped back onto the controls as the ship roared to life and flew off with the Thalassa Shell behind them as they flew out of the atmosphere.

"Alright, now let's head home and figure out how the heck Ruby got a Keyblade in the first place." Weiss said.
"I think it's obvious." Ruby said. "When we came home after the Phazon War, I had this dream of someone talking to me and then said I was worthy of the light after I got rid of the Phazon."
"So getting rid of the Phazon was a test to see if you were worthy of a Keyblade… interesting." Aqua mused.
"Which, I have to say, I'm glad I did. It would be pretty stupid if I kept the Phazon and didn't get a Keyblade. I mean, how dumb would that be? Like… what would I even do with it anyway?"
"I have to agree… the universe isn't safe as long as there's Phazon. Luckily, it's gone for good. And you're right… what would you do with it anyway? There's no safe alternative as far as I'm aware of." Samus agreed.
"Yeah… oh well, let's head home."
"Wait, hold on, Mustang's calling me real quick. What's up?" Samus asked.
One coup d'etat later…
"No interference." Bradley said, swinging his blade as energy went through everyone. Samus looked up to see that everyone stopped moving.
"Wh-what did you do…?!"
"Simple. I simply cut through their movements. In short, I petrified them, yet I'm allowing them to live long enough to see their precious Bounty Hunter fall."
Samus got back up, growling as she pulled out her AR-15 and shot him, but he swiftly cut through the bullets and then swung his rapier, slicing her gun in half while also cutting the palm of her hand open. "AAAAAAAGH!" She screamed as he soon pinned her to a wall.
"You claim you're the toughest bounty hunter out there. Let's see how much pain tolerance you can take." He said, shoving his rapier into her left shoulder and twisted the blade as Samus tried her best not to scream, so he shoved his other rapier into her other shoulder and started to twist it, which was at the point where she started screaming.
Newt let out a few growls, fighting his way through the petrification… taking that first step, and then another before he lunged at Bradley. He casually turned his head. "Hmm, I guess it doesn't really work that well for Metroids." He said as Newt swung his arm down… but in the blink of an eye, Bradley removed the rapier from Samus's right shoulder and slashed through Newt, which was enough to knock the Metroid down.
"NEWT!" Samus shrieked.
"Rrrgh…!" Ruby growled, trying to fidget her way out. Come on… come on…! She thought. I can do this… gotta save… Samus!
Bradley turned around, seeing tears swell up in Samus's eyes. "I don't get the big deal. It's just a Metroid. Then again, it imprinted on you back at SR-388. You left your child at the lab where Ridley was able to take it from you, and then Mother Brain kills him after he sacrificed his life for you. All you could think about after that was the baby."
He then let out a chuckle. "You have a gift, Samus… yet you take it for granted. How long will it be until Pikachu perishes? Or Pichu? Or SPBRR for that matter? Will your will to live be shattered like it almost did when you grew attached to it and watched it perish? Or was that just a shell of your former self after what happened on K2L? You take your friend's lives for granted… after all, look what happened to Adam's team."
Unbeknownst to Bradley, Ruby's Keyblade appeared in her hand and surrounded her in light to get her to move once more. Aqua shifted her eyes to Ruby in surprise. Her will is strong! …Stronger than mine, somehow.
Bradley watched as she gripped onto the blade that was embedded into her other shoulder. "You… you son of a bitch…" Samus growled, yanking it off of her shoulder as she cried out in pain and fell to the ground, but she slowly rose. "You dare talk to me about life…"
Electricity coursed through her hands as she went into her Metroid form. "YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"
Bradley smirked, proceeding to impale Samus in her stomach… only for Ruby to jump in and smacked him away into a wall. "Don't even think about it! I'm not going to let you hurt her!" She declared as she looked toward Samus, both of them nodding as Ruby aimed her Keyblade and fired a beam of light, impaling Bradley and held him in place as Samus jumped in and grabbed him by the face.
"AAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Bradley cried as he fell limp when Samus drained his entire life out of him.
"Good riddance…"
"...Aaaaand that's all the footage I need! If you'll excuse me, I need to… drop this video camera into the main universe and make Ruby and Sammy watch this~!"
Meanwhile, in the main universe…
"I'm glad you're feeling a lot better, Ruby." Samus said, as her arm was around Chell for support. "And I'm glad Chiaki is too."
"Well, I'm feeling perkier than ever!" Ruby smiled, when suddenly a video camera dropped near them. "Huh?"
Samus picked it up, curiously looking at it.
"Plug this into a TV and watch the footage! Love, The Hades Who Dragged Ruby Into Sapphire's universe"
"...Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Ruby whimpered.
Back in the other universe…
"Well! I guess we missed the fun." Greed said as he was with two Galactic Federation troopers, who took off their helmets to reveal Weiss and Mukuro.
"WEISS?! MUKURO?!" Yang yelled.
"...Well, this is a bit awkward. So much for a heroic entrance." Weiss sweatdropped.
"Well, maybe if you hadn't wasted your time shooting at me…" Greed pointed out.
"Shut up." Mukuro said, causing Greed to roll his eyes.
Back in Remnant…
"Heeeey Ruby!" Sora waved her over as he and Riku approached her. "How are you feeling? Still feeling a bit weird?"
"Actually, she's feeling a lot better now." Aqua said.
"Oh really? How so?" Riku asked.
Aqua turned to Ruby and with a nod, Ruby pulled her hand out. Silver wind blew through her hand as she summoned her Keyblade, with rose petals flying about.
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Sora yelled.
"Yup… I knew it. That definitely sounded like she was close to being a Keyblade Wielder." Riku nodded.
"Oh… oh my… uh… okay… I thought for sure you-... uh… holy geez, I completely forgot about this." Sora rubbed his head.
Ruby grinned. "So… now what?"
A few days later, after Seryu got treated…

"Hmmm…" Yen Sid had his arms folded. "So, the silver eyed warrior has a Keyblade of her own."
"Yes." Riku nodded. "I didn't think of it before, but I think I know what caused her to get the Keyblade. I think it had to do with that Dustflier that knocked the Keyblade out of my hand. In a split second, Ruby came in and caught the Keyblade and gave it back to me. Then she says she had a dream after the Phazon War where she was told she was worthy to wield the Keyblade after dispersing the Phazon from the universe, including herself."
"Hmmm…" Yen Sid closed his eyes. "A Silver Eyed Warrior with the Keyblade…"
"What are your thoughts on this?"
Yen Sid nodded his head in approval. "Having a Keyblade would prove to be an edge for her, especially with the likes of Salem. She may be already skilled with her scythe, and even though it can change into a Keyblade, she will need practice as this is basically a new weapon for her. What has she learned so far from learning from Aqua?"
"Apparently, the Keyblade she has has Magic Haste tied to it."
Yen Sid nodded. "Yes, considering her speed, that's perfect. Has she a name for her Keyblade yet?"
"Despite it technically being Crescent Rose, she's naming the Keyblade "Crimson Crescent"."
Yen Sid smirked. "That is a fitting name for her Keyblade. Allow her to grow with her fellow Keyblade Wielders, she might learn a thing or two aside from Aqua teaching her."
"Right." Riku nodded.

With Ruby and Aqua…
"Mmph!" Aqua grunted as she and Ruby were training near the mansion in Twilight Town with WBY, Pit, Tai, Rosalina, Summer, Ibuki and Chiaki watching her.
"Hah… hah…" Ruby panted.
Aqua smiled. "You've definitely gotten better the past few days. Heck, your magic is improving as well."
Ruby giggled. "Thanks. Though, I guess I'm still a bit sloppy with my technique?"
"You're getting there."
"Right. Here I come!" Ruby swung her Keyblade again, both of them sparring once more.
Riku walked over to them with the other Wielders, Namine and the Blades behind him. "How's she holding up?"
"Well, her technique's improving if that tells you anything." Chiaki said.
"Not to mention she's kicking serious ass too!" Yang said. "She knocked Aqua down at one point!"
"Well, yes, that too…" Chiaki giggled.
"She's all over the place… not that it ever stopped her before." Summer chuckled.
"Well… maybe this will give her an edge." Riku said, as Namine handed Ruby a few Heartbinders.
"Um… what are these?" Ruby asked.
"They're Heartbinders! Think of it as summons, which is what I have." Sora pointed out.
"Oh cool!" Sora nodded.
"I'm… not sure if these guys are important or they're just random people… I dunno." Namine shrugged. "They could be nobody important."
"Watch as they are." Ibuki snickered.
"Let's see…" Ruby looked through the three Heartbinders that she had. "Ooooh, this one looks like it's a six in one! I wonder what this does!" She said as she raised it high into the air.
Several lights glowed brightly as a puff of smoke appeared before them. "Gah!" Ruby coughed.
"It's morphin' time!" A voice declared.
"Dragon Zord!"

"Oh wow! That's amazing!" Ibuki exclaimed.
"...Dude. They look so… goofy." Mythra said.
"The red one looks cool, admittedly." Pyra said.
"Woooooow!" Ruby's eyes sparkled.
The Red Ranger turned to Ruby. "Are you the one who summoned us?"
"Um… yes!"
"Nice, dude! Glad you called upon our power to help you out if you need it!"
"Ring us up in case you need some serious butt whooping!" The Yellow Ranger said.
"Will do!" Ruby said as she dismissed them.

"Oh my goodness, that was so cool! Especially the red guy, he's got good taste in color!"
"Bias~!" Blake teased.
"Ooooh…" Chiaki came around. "Did… did I just see Ruby summon the Power Rangers?"
"Yeeeeup~!" Ibuki grinned.
"That's… that's awesome." She smiled.
"Alriiiight, let's see… next up… we have this… weird… bat-shaped thing on this Heartbinder." Ruby raised it up, when suddenly the whole area got dark as the moon shined down as bats flew around them.
A man walked in front of them, wearing black armor, a black cape, a black mask… and a yellow Bat symbol on his chest.

"Wait… is that…?!" Chiaki jawdropped… before she fainted once again with Ibuki behind her.
"Goodness, are we gonna go three for three~?" Ibuki teasingly giggled.
"Namine?" Roxas spoke up.
"Yeah?"
"I feel like this guy might be important."
"Yeeeeeeeeeah… I'm gathering." Namine sweatdropped.
"Nice bat costume. Who are you?" Yang asked.
"I'm Batman."
Yang sweatdropped. "Real creative on the name there…"
"It's no big deal. I have a friend who goes by the name of Superman."
"Aaaand somehow that's WORSE." Yang grimaced.
"Woooooow!" Ruby's eyes sparkled. "You look amazing! What are you like in your world?"
"Well, for starters, in my world, I am vengeance. I am the night, I am-"
"Totally dreamy!" Weiss and Mythra said at once, causing everyone to give them a weird look. Even Batman raised an eyebrow.
Mythra and Weiss looked at each other. "Dibs!" Mythra said.
"What?! Oh, absolutely not, I saw him first!"
"In your dreams, Schnee!"
"Oh boy…" Pyra sweatdropped.
"Soooo, uh… do you have any other names that sound-"
"Catwoman." Batman said.
Yang sweatdropped. "Seriously, what is up with the lack of creative names in your world?"
"Oh come now, Yang-chan. They're fitting!" Ibuki smiled.
"Riiiiiight…"
"Were you the one who called me?" Batman asked Ruby.
"Yes!"
Batman nodded. "Let me know if you need anything."
"Alright!" She nodded as bats flew around him and proceeded to disappear from view.

"Wow…" Summer said in awe, her eyes shimmering a bit.
"Ooooh, sounds like someone's got a crush!" Tai teased, playfully elbowing her.

"Then why are you blushing?"
"Eeep!" Summer blushed even harder, causing Rosalina to giggle.
"Uuuugh…" Chiaki woke up again. "What is it with me and my fangasms causing me to faint on the spot…"
"Happens to the best of us." Ibuki smiled.
"I swear, I'm usually not this bad…"
"Aaaand here's summon number three!" Ruby said, pulling up the third Heartbinder in the air… and who came out but Jack Skellington himself as he rose up from a well.

"Getting into position!" Ibuki said.
"...You know, this actually makes sense." Chiaki said.
"Oh, you don't faint over THAT?"
"JACK SKELLINGTON?!" Sora yelled and then looked at Namine. "Okay, that guy's important too!"
"Okay, so two important people out of eight." Namine shrugged it off.
"Sora! How's it going!" Jack waved as he gave him a hug. "So, did you summon me?"
"Actually, Ruby did." Sora pointed to her.
"Hello! I see you have a thing for Halloween." Ruby smiled.
"Indeed, I do! I'm the Pumpkin King, after all!" He smiled.
"Do you do birthdays? Because my birthday is on Halloween."
"Really!" Jack's eyeless pupils sparkled in delight. "Well, I'm gonna have to make the best birthday ever then! Oh, speaking of which, meet my best bud in the whole wide world!" He said as a ghost dog came out, causing Ruby to gasp.
"Ooooh boy… another dog adoption…" Tai sweatdropped, causing Summer and Rosalina to giggle.
"Ruby, meet Zero! Zero, meet Ruby!"
"Woof!" Zero barked as he playfully floated around her as Ruby giggled and petted him as best she could as Zero licked her on the face, causing the Silver Eyed huntress to giggle.
"I'm sure we'll find more Heartbinders for you later on." Namine said.
"Yeah, and maybe they'll be important people." Sora said.
Namine sweatdropped. "That's not going away anytime soon…"
Once Ruby was done playing with Zero, she dismissed the two with a wave. "Alriiiiight, so… I'm up for more training. Let's go!"
Unbeknownst to them, someone watched them from a tree. He wore a dark grey mask with the far right edge being covered with a large teal Crescent Moon, his face obscured and his eyes an amber color under the mask. He also wears a black coat with its hood over his head, the coat itself has moon imagery plastered all over it with the Meta-Knights logo plastered on the back. He wears a black shirt with chain mail under it and navy blue trousers and armored brown boots. He had a black tome hooked to his trousers.
"Hmph…" He mused as he quickly disappeared into a portal, finding himself back at Dreamland. "A report, Master Meta Knight."
"Well? I've heard Ruby has a Keyblade now."
"She's getting better, but she also has three summons. Two of them which made a gamer girl faint."
"Oh? Do tell. Who are these summons?"
"I think the first one she summoned called themselves the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The second one, he called himself Batman. The third was one named Jack Skellington. He has a ghost dog that she promptly played with."
Meta Knight "hmphed" in amusement over the last fact. "Fascinating. Continue keeping an eye on Ruby for now, Mystic Knight. Once she is well enough off with her Keyblade, I will request a duel with her."
"Understood."
A few weeks later, at Garreg Mach…
"AAAAAAAGH!" Byleth cried as she was struck down by Nemesis.
"You fought valiantly, yet your will to fight has staggered. Something must have been brought up to weaken you severely. I will make this quick."
He raised his sword up in the air, when suddenly a Keyblade was thrown at him as he instinctively blocked it. However, Ruby used her semblance to latch onto it and kicked him in the chin. "Rrrgh! Who interferes?" He asked as Ruby landed in front of Byleth, her Keyblade in hand.
"I'm not going to let you harm my big sis any more!" Ruby declared.
"B-Big… sis…?" Byleth looked at her with widened eyes. Ruby shot her a look with a smile on her face as tears overwhelmed Byleth.
"Hahahahaha!" Nemesis laughed. "You think just by being her sister will change anything? It does not! However, I admire your boldness to attack me, so I think I'm going to toy with you for a bit before I eliminate her!"
"R-Ruby…"
"Stay back, Byleth. I got this." Ruby got in her stance.
BGM: The Edge of Dawn (Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes)
Nemesis flicked his wrist to have his Sword of the Creator attack Ruby, but she instinctively parried him as she immediately ran forward and then slashed him into a combo before jumping away and aimed her Keyblade, firing a silver Firaga from the barrel of her Keyblade, hitting Nemesis in the face.
"Mmmph!" He grunted as Ruby immediately used her semblance to get around him as Nemesis tried to slash her, but she immediately blocked and countered with an Aeroga, attacking him with silver wind as it pushed Nemesis back a bit as Ruby then swung upward, knocking him into the air as Ruby then jumped up and finished Aerial Slam on him, then she pointed her Keyblade down and used Thundaga, hitting him with silver lightning bolts.
Ruby landed on the ground, only for Nemesis to backhand her as she was knocked to a wall. "Mmmph!" She grunted as she shook it off and charged at him again, striking his feet with silver ice in Blizzaga form, then froze his arms with pin point accuracy.
Ruby then switched Crimson Crescent to its Crescent Rose form as she immediately swung her scythe and cut his chest open as she then jumped back and fired a Silver Firaga Barrage from it, then used her semblance to get him into a Rose Tornado as she jumped up, changing her scythe back into a Keyblade as she swung down to send him crashing to the ground.
Ruby then looked up and pointed her Keyblade with a smile, only for Nemesis to grab her by the ankle with the Sword of the Creator as he swung down and sent her crashing to the ground. "Gah!"
"Had enough fun? Now it's my turn!" Nemesis said as he swung his sword at her while she got back up, striking her in the chest and then slashed her arm to knock the Keyblade off of her.
"Gragh!" Ruby yelped as Nemesis grabbed her with the Sword of the Creator and reeled her in as he let out a chuckle.
"What are you without your weapon?" He smirked.
"Personally… I'd be more concerned about the one who you were killing first." She said.
"Hmm?" Nemesis wondered as Byleth came in and punched him in the face to knock him back and made him drop Ruby as she immediately summoned her Keyblade before landing.
"Thanks for healing me, Ruby." Byleth said.
"No prob!"
"My teacher!" Edelgard called out as Byleth turned around as she threw Amyr to her. "Use this!"
Byleth quickly caught it and nodded at Ruby, both of them getting in their stances as Nemesis shook it off right as Edelgard joined them, where she conjured up fire axes in her hands.
"Hmph! This changes nothing!"
"Let's rock!" Ruby smirked as Nemesis swung the Sword of the Creator at Ruby, where she parried again as Edelgard flew up and flanked him, slashing him with the axes as Ruby grabbed Byleth's hand and used her semblance to get above Nemesis as Ruby threw Byleth down like a missile as Byleth swung Amyr down and slashed through him.
"Rrrrgh!" Nemesis grunted as Ruby charged up and unleashed a Silver Ragnarok, pelting him with silver explosions as Nemesis roared in pain as Edelgard unleashed a fiery inferno into him as Nemesis fell on one knee, but staggered to his feet as he swung his sword into Byleth but she blocked it.
Ruby used her semblance to get around Nemesis as he let out a growl as he spun around her a few times. "Enough!" He said, backhanding her into Edelgard as he flicked his wrist, but no sword went to Ruby. "Huh? Where'd my-"
"You're welcome!" Ruby called out to Byleth as she saw that it was in her hands, her eyes widening as Ruby had stolen the Sword of the Creator and gave it to Byleth in the blink of an eye.
Byleth smirked and then let out a war cry as she slashed at Nemesis repeatedly as Ruby got back up with Edelgard, the former taking Edelgard's hand as she used her semblance to get to Nemesis, with Edelgard activating her Maiden Powers, and together with Ruby, they became a silver-y fire death twister coming straight for Nemesis, striking him in the chest as they both launched high into the air, then Ruby deactivated her semblance as they both came down and swung their weapons through him to finish him off.

"Rrrrgh… mmmph…!" Nemesis let out a chuckle. "Well… well fought… you… earned my respect… little red…" He smirked as he fell on both knees, closing his eyes and drawing his last breath.
Ruby twirled her Keyblade around and strapped it to her back. "And that's that." She said as she heard everyone cheer over Nemesis's defeat.
"Ruby…" Byleth spoke up as Ruby turned to her. "Did… did you actually mean what you said? You actually see me as a big sister?"
"I mean, yeah… we've hung out so much and you supported me through it all that… I just saw you as a big sis. I even said this to my family and they were all "I'm surprised you haven't adopted her yet" in a teasing way but-"
Byleth teared up and hugged Ruby tightly in a smothering crushing hug. "I'd be honored to be part of your family… sis…"
"Gah! Sis… you're… crushing… me…!" Ruby grunted with a forced giggle.
"Aww…" Edelgard smiled with a giggle as well.
"Sooo, I guess you have another sister." Claude smiled.
Yang grinned. "I'm still surprised this didn't happen sooner." She chuckled while Apollo roared. She then texted Summer.
"Hey, Ruby just straight up adopted Byleth in the family."
"Took her long enough! LOL!"
"Yup!"
A few weeks later, when Dark Ruby made her move…
BGM: Boss - Lord Ghirahim (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)
"YAAAAH!" Ruby yelled as she slashed at Ghirahim, but he casually caught her Keyblade between her fingers.
"Is this supposed to be a Keyblade… or is this just some sort of make-believe fantasy that you're so deluded in?" Ghirahim smirked, yanking it away and kicked Ruby away. "Don't worry, I can be a more diligent Keyblade Wielder compared to you!"
"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." Ruby said, aiming her hand and resummoning the Keyblade in her hand.
"How interesting… but that trick won't help you!" He teleported, where Ruby instinctively rolled out of the way where Ghirahim struck the ground instead. He chuckled as he teleported toward her, instantly grabbing her throat.
"Hnnngh!"
"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you. No, I'm just going to beat you within an inch of your life and-"
His shoulder was tapped.
"...Yes, what is it?" Ghirahim turned his head, only to have a fist fly into his face. "RRRGH!" He grunted as he dropped Ruby.
"Wait… Batman…?" Ruby wondered as Batman approached Ghirahim, cracking his knuckles.
"Who the devil are you?"
"I'm Batman."
"Ha! You don't look so tough."
"You remind me of a clown I tend to fight quite often."
"Well, good for me then. I'm sure the clown also does THIS!" He yelled, slashing at him but Batman caught the blade between his fingertips and pulled him forward, grabbing him by the collar and glared at him, which was enough to intimidate Ghirahim.
"Um… goodness me, would you look at the-" Batman punched him again. "OOOMPH!" He grunted as he backed up as Batman continued to pummel him.
Dimentio watched from afar, rubbing his chin as Batman slugged Ghirahim in the gut and punched him down. "Goodness me… a man in the bat costume is giving him trouble? How absurdly pathetic."
He teleported over to the duo. "Now listen here, Bat boy. I can assure you that you're all bark and no-" Batman aimed his grappling hook at him and shot it, hooking him by the waist as he swung him down into the ground. "OOOMPH!"

"Oooh!" Ruby winced as Batman jumped over and kicked Dimentio in the head, then he grabbed said head and shoved it into the ground. "I mean, well deserved and all, but OUCH."
Batman threw Dimentio over to Ghirahim. "Now. You two are going to tell me everything I need to know."
"Guh-good luck with that!" Dimentio said, completely dazed and wondering what the hell just hit him. "There's no way we're going to tell you anything!"
"I was thinking you would say that." He said, pulling out a switch. "While I was pummeling you, I quickly put a device on the two of you." He flipped said switch, which electrocuted the duo before they collapsed.
"Thanks, Batman."
"Anytime."
"By the way, how in the world did you summon yourself?"
"Because I'm Batman."
Ruby sweatdropped. "Why does that make sense and also doesn't make sense at the same time?"
"Says the girl who can summon me, a talking skeleton and a ragtag group of confused live action Dungeons and Dragons roleplayers who have cheesy 90s action hero flicks as their source of drug while they can summon dinosaur bots, not to mention having summonable weapons and you yourself can turn yourself into a red twister while also transforming into an electric hound."
Ruby raised her finger in protest. "I… uh…" Ruby slumped while lowering her finger. "Touche."
Once inside the castle…
"Okay. Both of you. Talk." Batman ordered.
"Ha! Good luck with that. There's no way you're going to hear us out after we TELEPORT AWAY!" Dimentio yelled, but nothing happened. "...I said… teleport away… teleport away!"
"...Weird, this usually works." Ghirahim said.
"Yeah, I have you wrapped up in anti-teleporting mechanical wiring." Batman said casually, both of their eyes widening. "Now tell me. Who are you working for?"
"Why, isn't it obvious? The queen of the Mushroom Kingdom herself!" Ghirahim spat, which caused said wiring to electrocute him. "YAGH!"
"Failed to mention that lying will make an electric shock, and I made it possible to where as soon as your heart stops, it will shock it back alive. You are not getting out that easily."
"Oh, isn't that wonderful…" Dimentio mumbled.
"I'm not going to ask you again."
"Yeah, well, tell it to someone who actually gives a damn about this." Dimentio said as Batman grabbed him by the collar.
"You think this is a game? I could pick this chair up and haul it outside to the lava pit. Good luck trying to escape."
"Ha! You wouldn't." Dimentio said, but one stare from Batman was enough to make him sweat nervously. "Sweet Underwhere, you would."
"Talk. Now."
A few minutes later…
"Any moment now, that bitch is going to come over and-"
Grimm Ruby heard the sound of a car heading toward her, not that she cared.
"Meh, probably just some lost driver. Whatever, I could probably kill them for fun and-"
Suddenly, the Batmobile launched off of a ramp above her, and in a split second, a grappling hook shot down from the rear end of the Batmobile and latched onto Grimm Ruby, wrapping around her. "What the- WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She screamed as she was dragged away with the Batmobile heading back to everyone's locations.
"...What in the world…?" Carmen wondered as she had walked by and witnessed it.
Back at World 1-Castle…
The Batmobile swooped in and casually drifted near a wall as Batman got out and walked over to Grimm Ruby who was scraped up and had a few sticks in her hair. "Uuugh…" Grimm Ruby groaned as she shook it off.
"Special delivery." He said casually.
"Well, well, well… look who it is." Sarge pumped his shotgun.
"Oooooh, I wonder if her legs are broken!" Nora smirked. "...Also, I just noticed she's a Grimm now."
Summer readied herself. "Here we go."
Ruby took a deep breath before summoning her Keyblade as Grimm Ruby got up and shook it off, seeing what was going on.
"Oh… okay, so you decided to send an asshole over to me because you were too scared to face me head on? We'll see about that shitty potshot!" She yelled as she punched the ground as a wave of darkness shot out and trapped everyone within the darkness, all but Ruby.
"Rrrgh…!" Ruby growled as she aimed her Keyblade at her as a beam of light shot out and struck Grimm Ruby.
"Graaaagh!" Grimm Ruby yelled as she fell on one knee.
"I did that out of instinct… but a beam of light shouldn't have hurt anyone who's not a Heartless… unless…"
BGM: Danger! There's Trouble! (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
Grimm Ruby chuckled. "I might have had a boost just a few weeks prior…"
"What do you mean? Being a Grimm wasn't good enough for you?" Ruby asked.
"Hahahaha… you idiot…"
A few weeks before…
"Well, well!"
Grimm Ruby turned her head to see Maleficent approaching. "I thought I sensed something foul within this forest."
"And who the hell are you supposed to be?"
"I am Maleficent, and I was curious to see why you of all people would come within the soil of our castle."
"Isn't it obvious? I'm looking for Grimm to recruit for my cause."
"Oh? Grimm seem to be wasted potential. How about something more… horrendous for someone such as you?"
"What are you talking about?" She asked as Maleficent aimed her staff at Grimm Ruby, enveloping her in a green aura.
"There. Now you harness the power of a Heartless. Perhaps you, yourself, could become one… but be warned, once you are turned into a Heartless-"
"All I'm hearing is I got some kickass powers. I'm going to use this on that bitch. Catch you later, Maleffy or whatever your name is!" She said and disappeared in a portal of darkness.
"Definitely careless, that one. But no matter, I'm sure she will finish her objective soon enough."
Back in the present…
Grimm Ruby let out a chuckle as she wrapped herself in darkness, changing appearance as a Heartless Symbol appeared on her chest, scarlet wings emerging from her back as her eyes became yellow and her skin completely pale. Her outfit had a Shadow Queen-esque look to it, complete with silver trim as her hair was longer up to her shoulders. She also wore knee high boots.
"Hahahahaha… don't you see, Ruby? I'm your worst nightmare!"
Ruby took a step back, gulping as fear was seen in her eyes. She felt a hand touch her shoulder as she turned to see Byleth right there with a comforting smile.
"We'll do this together." Byleth said as Summer stepped forward together with Dorothea.
"How did you…?" Ruby wondered.
"Batman got us out." Dorothea said as Chiaki stepped in next, summoning the Ultima from her powers while Batman got in his own stance with the Mario Bros and Ibuki stepping out with him.
"Have faith, Ruby. We'll end this nightmare of yours for good."
Ruby closed her eyes and took a deep breath, before opening her eyes with newfound confidence as she got in her stance, Keyblade in hand as the Mario Bros got in their stances and Ibuki readied her guitar.

"Let's finish this." Ruby said.
"Hahahaha… DIE!" Heartless Ruby roared.
BGM: Wave of Darkness (Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep)
Ultimate Darkness - Heartless Ruby
Heartless Ruby unleashed a wave of darkness at them, but Ruby quickly blocked with her Keyblade as the Mario Bros jumped over the darkness. Heartless Ruby conjured up two swords and slashed at the Bros, but the two dodged the attacks as Mario fire hammered Heartless Ruby in the chest to knock her back as Luigi then fired lightning bolts into her.
Heartless Ruby snarled, unleashing a dark laser from her mouth as the bros jumped back as Ruby jumped over to a wall and then launched herself toward Heartless Ruby, slashing her down as Byleth ran over and slashed her away.
Heartless Ruby conjured up electrical balls of darkness and shot them at everyone as Summer quickly went around, summoning her axe as she swung said axe into her but Heartless Ruby blocked with her swords with a devilish smirk, only for Chiaki to come in and slide underneath her to trip her up as Summer slashed her in the gut.
"Rrrgh!" Heartless Ruby flapped her wings and flew up, kicking Summer away as her hands crackled in darkness and fired lightning bolts at Ruby, where she used Reflega. The lightning bounced off of the silver Zwei-like shield and struck Heartless Ruby where Dorothea threw fireballs at her followed by a Thoron attack.
Ibuki strummed her guitar, powering everyone up as Heartless Ruby glared at Ibuki and flew down, swiping her with her claws but Ibuki matrix'd it as she then countered by smacking her guitar into her face, sending her crashing into a wall as she then strummed it again, firing lightning bolts that struck her.
Ruby used her semblance to zip on over to Heartless Ruby and slashed her, but she conjured up a dark blade of her own and blocked the attack, both of them clashing as they both glared into each other's eyes.
"You pathetic little wench. You'll never beat me!"
"You turned yourself into a Heartless for power. I'm pretty sure you already lost from the start!" Ruby said, parrying her and then slashing through her abdomen, knocking her away as Chiaki came in from behind and used Aerial Slam on her as Ruby used Zantetsuken to send her flying.
"Rrrrgh… DIIIIIE!" She yelled, unleashing a black vortex that closed in on them as Summer quickly flew through said vortex and came out on the other side, throwing her axe as Heartless Ruby ducked with a smirk, only for Summer to snap her fingers as the axe came back and struck Heartless Ruby in the back. "Graaaagh!" She cried as she was then struck by Luigi who Mario had used Knockback Bros on to knock her back, then Luigi lightning hammered her down where Batman awaited her as he slugged her in the face before grabbing a hold of her waist and german suplexed her into the ground where he got up and backed away where Daisy came in, jumped over and heel kicked her in the chest.
"Gah! Where'd you come from!" She yelled.
"He's Batman." Daisy said, fist bumping the Caped Crusader as Ruby jumped in and slashed her away as she pelted her with silver Firagas as Heartless Ruby blocked these, only for Cloud to swoop in and proceeded to Omnislash her where Ruby pitched in and helped her, then a massive lightning bolt came in as Laxus and Nora launched out and shoved their fists/hammer into her face, sending her crashing into a wall.
"I'll finish this!" Ruby said as she used her semblance to get to Heartless Ruby and slashed her over and over as Heartless Ruby attempted to hit her with waves of darkness but Ruby parried these and slashed her down before thrusting her Keyblade into her chest.
"Nnnngh!" She grunted as Ruby jumped back and fired a silver beam of light into her, piercing through her as she screamed in agony.

BGM: Riku (Kingdom Hearts II)
"Rrrgh… Ruby…!" Heartless Ruby growled, reaching out to her as a orb of darkness conjured in her hand. "I refuse… to die… by you…!" She growled as she started to fade away into darkness where she had disappeared… and in her place was a Shadow Heartless.
The Shadow Heartless got into position and pounced on Ruby, but with a casual block from her, the Shadow bounced off and landed on its butt. It looked up at Ruby as it tried to scurry away, but Ruby put her foot on top of its body. It looked up in fear as Ruby impaled its head, where it poofed away in darkness.
"Good riddance." Ruby said as she strapped the Keyblade to her back as the darkness around the castle disappeared.
"Sooooo, who's up for Sea Salt Ice Cream?" Yang asked.
"I could go for one." Chiaki said.
"Same here. I wouldn't mind some ice cream." Sarge said.
"You already read my mind." Grif agreed as they all walked away, while Batman desummoned himself and the Batmobile, leaving Dimentio and Ghirahim all by themselves.
"Soooo… uh… we're getting out of here, right?" Dimentio asked.
"I… hope we do get out of here." Ghirahim sweatdropped.
"I can't believe Peach is actually fine as is…" Luigi said.
"Guess we all were duped from the start." Jaune said.
"Well, at least it was a fun adventure while it lasted." Chiaki chuckled.

Later, at Patch…
"Haaaaa… home sweet home." Ruby said.
"Yeah, glad things worked out as they did." Qrow agreed.
"You said it." Raven nodded with Maia agreeing with a nod as well.
At that moment, there was a knock on the door as Summer opened it up to see Ibuki and Chiaki. "Hey uh… there's something you oughta see…" Chiaki said.
"What's up?" Summer asked as her family got curious.
Ibuki turned her head. "Hey, come on out. Don't be shy!" She said as they saw a young girl approaching them as she had blue hair with a purple streak tied into a ponytail and had dark blue eyes. Her dress was blue with a wolf howling at the moon with green trees underneath. Her footwear consisted of black tennis shoes.
"Wait… is that…?!" Yang's eyes widened as they poured out of the house ready to knock her out.
"Wait wait wait! Put those weapons down!" Chiaki requested. "She's friendly. We made sure of that."
"But that's-"
"Yes, but considering she was turned into a Heartless, apparently she was turned into a Nobody. Chiaki-chan and I discovered her wandering aimlessly in Coconut Mall."
"A Nobody… like Maia?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah." Chiaki nodded.
"I… I don't know who I am or where I am, honestly. But… somehow, I feel attracted to you in particular." She said, referring to Ruby. "It's… weird. I don't know who you are, but I'm hoping we could be friends? By the way, this, uh… Ibuki gave me a name. Akoya."
"Ibuki came up with it herself~" Ibuki grinned.
"So a friendly version of Dark Ruby… that's something you don't see every day…" Yang rubbed her head.
"Who's Dark Ruby?" Akoya tilted her head.
In a flash, Ruby immediately used her semblance to get in front of Akoya. "Hi, I'm Ruby!"
"Eeeek!" She yelped as she fainted on the spot.
"Oh…" Ruby sweatdropped.
"Yeeeeah, she's also extremely shy and timid." Chiaki said.
"You couldn't have mentioned that earlier?" Raven deadpanned.
Both girls sweatdropped. "Our bad…" Ibuki chuckled.
"Sorry!" Ruby helped Akoya up. "Didn't mean to scare you."
"N-no… i-it's… okay…" Akoya mumbled.
"Definitely a far cry from her…" Summer said before smiling. "Yup, I already made my decision."
"As have I." Rosalina smiled.
"Heck, so did I! You want to live with us, Akoya?"
Akoya's eyes widened. "You… you'd have me with you?"
"Yeah!" Ruby smiled sweetly.
Akoya formed a genuine smile and hugged Ruby. "Thank you…!" She whispered as Ruby hugged her back, then Akoya pulled away and looked her in the eyes. "I… can't help but notice we kinda seem like twins."
"Yeah, pretty cool!" Ruby smiled.
"Soooo… I guess we have two Nobodies in the house now." Yang said.
Maia's eyes sparkled. "Cool! I'm not the odd one out anymore!"
Yang grinned. "Hey, Akoya. Mind if I call ya Ako? Sounds like a cute nickname, no?"
Akoya thought about it and nodded. "Y-Yeah, it… definitely sounds cute…" She smiled as she walked in where she was hugged by all and they walked in, then Summer turned to Chiaki and Ibuki.
"You two want any cookies? I was just about to bake them."
"Sure!" Ibuki smiled.
"I wouldn't mind." Chiaki giggled as the two walked in.
"What's… a cookie?" Akoya wondered.
Ruby gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "We have a lot to discuss."
"And that's all for now! …But before we go… how about we go back to the main universe? I'm dying to know what Sammy might be thinking~!"
Back in the main universe…
BGM: Laughter and Merriment (Kingdom Hearts II)
Samus had her arms folded, her eyebrow twitching as her fingers tapped on her right elbow. She also was glaring at Ruby in annoyance.
"Well… this is awkward…" Ruby grimaced.
"Ruby, explain yourself."
"Um… nobody's perfect?"
"Nobody's perfe-... Chell. Adam. Anthony. Hold me back!" She said as the three of them held on to her, Adam holding on to her ankle. "NOBODY'S PERFECT?! WHAT THE HELL KIND OF EXCUSE IS THAT?!"
"I mean, I didn't know that would happen!"
"If you weren't so damn selfish with the phazon, you'd have a damn Keyblade and I'd still have my legs fully functioning! Dammit Ruby, do you have ANY idea how livid I am right now!"
"Oh, you're one to talk!" Ruby shot back. "If you weren't so stupid and put yourself in that position, you would have thought more clearly and would have fought Bradley differently, but noooo, you decided to go through the problem instead of around it, so it's not my fault you lost your legs!"
"STUPID?!"
"...Oh damn." Adam said.
"...Whoops, butterfingers!" Anthony said as he, Adam and Chell let go of her.
Ruby paled. "Uh oh…" Stupid heat of the moments!
"I'll show you stupid! C'MERE!"
Ruby whimpered, immediately using her semblance to take off running as Samus chased after her.
"Serves you right!" Dark Pit called out, who was completely covered in bandages and bruises.
Colabbed with Wyvern himself!
Ibuki: Ooooh, this was good!
Deadpool: Bats himself shows up? Why not, he's Batman!
Also, don't expect Ruby to have a Keyblade in the main universe. She lost that chance when she kept the Phazon and she'll never get another one.
