Mobile Suit Midoriya

So this is an AU and crossover. Not only will Mobile Suit Gundam (original series) play a part in this but the timeline will be changed up a bit and ages will too.

Firstly UA will be a College instead of a highschool in this and as such everyone will be atleast 18 years old, this also means Eri will be aged up to 10 instead of merely being 6. Timeline has also been changed up aswell. In Gundam The Origins it's shown that the Zaku were a response to the Guntank Early Build variants the Federation used, in this that will not be the case.

Some OOC warnings will follow of course; those being a more confident Izuku, Bakugo being less of an asshole (but still being Bakugo), some class swaps and a few more depending on how things go.

Darkest hero will be continued but is soon coming to an end, as such I have started work on what could become the next long running series.

Chapter 1: The Reveal

Inko Midoriya was a very proud parent, she may of been short and slightly pudgy after some villain hit her with a Chibi Quirk a few years ago but that hadn't changed her life that much beyond needing a new wardrobe and being the perfect height to give her son more hugs when he was a kid. Her size aside, she had gone from being a small time lawyer who worked mostly on suing corporations who screwed over their customers to making sure one didn't need to have her services to begin with. Her life had gone from living in a small apartment that leaked constantly when she cried and was just a stone's throw from the old run down factories to a slightly larger apartment that didn't leak and was only just down the street from her friend Mitsuki and her family.

All of this was because of her son Izuku MIdoriya. Izuku much like his mum was a green eyed and haired teen and was very friendly if a bit of a crier like herself. Unlike Inko however who's quirk was minor telekinesis, Izuku's quirk was the ability to reshape junk which didn't sound too impressive and for most would of seen them working in sanitation or not using their quirk at all. However Izuku wasn't one to give up and found creative uses for his quirk from creating pocket sized creations that could become as large as skyscrapers to alloys once thought of as fictional and even a new fuel source refered to as Hydrogen 3.

"Mum I'm home." Izuku called as he walked in the front door, a wide grin on his face despite the bruises and being wet.

"Izuku what happened?" Inko gasped as she rushed to check over her son as he put his school bag in a bucket by the door which held a pair of umbrellas, green liquid dripping off of it. "Was it that boy with the wings again?"

"I met All Might!" Izuku grinned widely as he vibrated with joy.

"How did this happen though?" Inko asked as she gestured at his soaked form.

"Had a run in with a villain who tried to steal my body but it's okay. I got an autograph!" Izuku smiled widely as he opened up a small notebook to the page where All Might had sighed the book.

"MY BABY!" Inko cried as literal torrents of tears started to flood the apartment as she clutched at her son's lower shirt.

"Mum I'm fine, please don't cry!" Izuku tried to calm down his mother. "All Might saved me!"

"Just please try to be more careful, I don't think my heart could take it." Inko sighed softly before letting go. "Go and get changed, we've got a meeting later remember?"

"That was tonight!? GAH! IT WAS TONIGHT I FORGOT AFTER MEETING ALL MIGHT!" Izuku cried out in shock as he raced towards his room to get cleaned and changed.

Inko could only smile and shake her head in amusement. Her son may of only been a few weeks from graduating high school and already owned his own company but he was still such a scatterbrain whenever he met a pro hero, she had seen the same thing happen when he met Backdraft for the first time.

[Later]

After everything was sorted and both of them had gotten dressed into business attire for the meeting they went downstairs to the underground parking the apartments had where Inko got into the passenger seat of the car, it wasn't a very recent one or well maintained but the blue Toyota 2389 was still running well despite being thirty years old and slightly dinged up on the left side from people carelessly opening their doors next to it in the car parks. Izuku meanwhile hopped into the driver's seat and started the usual method of trying to get to car running, that being to turn the ignition, slam down the break and accelerator at the same time and keep it in neutral. It took a few moments for the temperamental vehicle to roar to life but soon they were on their way.

"I still don't know why you don't just buy a newer car Izuku." Inko asked with a sigh as they came to a stop at the traffic lights two blocks away from the apartment. "I mean you literally pulled this from the junk at Degobah beach when you were first starting your business."

"Yeah but it's such a good car and it's sturdier than the newer ones too." Izuku replied with a shrug as he kept his eyes forward, waiting for the light to turn green. "Plus the newer ones have that safety feature you don't like."

Inko suppressed an annoyed growl at the mention of said safety feature. It was meant to stop children riding in the front seat of cars but unfortunately it seemed to register her as a child and she was stuck either taking public transport, older vehicles or having to sit in a booster seat in the back.

Eventually the light turned green and once more they were on their way. Their destination was a small construction site on the outskirts of Mustafu where a large cargo container office had been set up by the gate and a few limousines had been parked near it. Several large taps covered various pieces of equipment that was to be tested and shown off that day and even a press van was present for channel 3 news.

As they pulled up Izuku had to sigh to himself as he was forced to turn the radio to 100.8 FM before he could remove the key from the ignition. He had no idea how the two were connected but if he didn't do it the key would refuse to budge.

Getting out of the car Izuku straightened his clip on Tie and prepared himself for the inevitable bombardment of questions, demands for blueprints and the annoyance of Media attention. He had only ever done one interview before and it was for a local news station as he was the youngest inventor and business owner in the area, there was of course Hatsume Enterprises which a girl two hours drive away had started up at the age of 16 that was going strong with support equipment so he wasn't the youngest in Japan.

As they entered the shipping container office Izuku instantly wish he wasn't there, some rich jerks were bragging about how their contractors were the best and everyone else should just fall in line with their company. It reminded him too much of his father who insisted he was always right and had to go by his word alone. The family was five strong.

An bald elderly man in a black suit emblazed with a gold rose like pin on the pocket was seated in a wheelchair with a pair of rounded sunglasses on while he merely scoffed at the others present. A large built man who was easily as tall as All Might stood behind him, his hair was grey and despite his age was still muscular and imposing, he wore a green suit emblazed with a red trim around the collar. Next to him was a thin man with bluish grey hair and an angular face wearing a black suit with a blue tie and the same emblem as the others. The final man was barely into his 20s and had blue hair, a short chin and was wearing a olive green suit, the emblem woven into the pattern on his tie. The final individual was a woman in her mid 20s with ginger hair in a matching blue long sleeved dress and scarf, the emblem was this time present as a hair pin holding the bangs out of her face.

The blue haired man unlike his boastful family however was busy insulting a black haired girl for not acting like a propper woman. "Come on Yaoyorozu, you're young and beautiful, why worry about all that malarkey and spend time with someone who can appreciate your beauty?"

"Leave me alone Zabi." The black haired teen hissed in anger. "I'm not interested."

"C'mon I'm sure you don't want to sully yourself with these ruffians." The blue haired man scoffed dismissively with a wave of his hand.

"I believe she said to leave her be." Izuku frowned as he marched over.

"Ew who let the peasant in?" The man sneered.

"I'll have you know that is Midoriya Izuku, head of Midoriya Inc." a brown haired man with cat ears and a tail frowned "if you can't act civil I'll kick your family from my construction site."

"Please I could buy out your business thirty times over." The elderly Zabi scoffed dismissively. "Not let's get this over with, I want to prove we are the best and then take a nap."

"Right." The cat eared man deadpanned sarcastically. He really didn't want the Zabi family here but they had strong armed their way into it by the courts. "Anyway, let's get this all sorted then. May I have your attention please?"

At this the various groups gathered turned their attention to the man and the news crew started filming.

"Hello everyone, my name is Yugi Uraraka and today we have a total of five companies each vying for a new commonplace construction vehicle, each vehicle has so far been given the green flag and was deemed safe enough to use today. If you can all follow me, we shall start with the Yaoyorozu Family's efforts." The man explained before leading everyone outside to a large flatbed truck which had been covered in a tarp. Several men in high vis gear removed the tarp to reveal a excavator armed with a multi attachment, tow cables and four treads, two for each main direction.

"Allow me to introduce the main load digger mk16. It's fully capable of operation in muddy and dusty environments and is equipped with ground penetrating sonar to avoid breaching any pipes or cables." A orange haired representative explained as the excavator was driven over to the test area where it began to work through the basic test corse. "Each unit has a large 270L twin deisel tank to operate for several hours before refueling is needed and can safely lift upto 6.2 tonnes without support or 8.3 tonnes with the support booms deployed, it's top speed is 25 KM/ph off road and 50 on road."

The Media crew was busy recording the excavator work its way through the course which included digging a trench, moving a heavy hazard marked cargo container across a simple obstacle course marked by cones and finally leave the container inside a area marked with red spray paint. While many were polite about it, the Zabi family however were dismissive and rude.

Once the first demonstration was done the excavator was returned to the bed of the truck it was unloaded from and resecured. Mr Uraraka then continued with the demonstrations and commentary.

"Introducing the far superior Zabi family SCV." The wheelchair bound old man smirked before snapping his fingers. Several men in black suit removed the tarp from the second truck revealing a ball shaped tracked vehicle with two large side mounted cranes one of which had some odd hybrid of a shovel scoop, claw and welding torch and a pair of flood lights mounted on the roof. "This baby packs enough fuel to last four hours, all the time you'll need for the job, it's capable of digging, welding, lifting and provides its own lighting, the smaller window means you're less likely to get injured when something slams into it as well."

As he was ranting many winced as the SVC seemed to have a very limited range of view and kept hitting into things or even getting bogged in the muddy areas of the obstacles, the crate it delivered was even banged up and dented by the end of it.

"I uh, I see." Mr Uraraka winced slightly. How that death trap got past the initial inspection could of only been by bribery or blackmail, there was no way that thing was safe around humans let alone buildings. "Up next is ... Baby 3ggB411 from Hatsume Inc?"

The media quickly focused on the insane cackling of a pink haired young woman in a dirty pair of overalls and tank top who was driving what could only be described as half a boiled egg with a wrecking ball and hooked pulley underneath that was designed to seat one person at a time. However it only went a few metres before running out of power and falling to the ground if the disappointed groan was to be believed. As this was happening Izuku handed his phone to Inko and went over to the forth truck that had been parked in the construction site, this one had a much larger flat bed area compared to the others and was held down by thicker chains.

"Good luck kid." The driver of the truck, a thin woman with a parrot's head nodded to him as he unhooked and chains and climbed under the tarp.

"Some technical issues I believe." Mr Uraraka muttered before clearing his throat. "Up next is from Midoriya Inc is the MSN-01a"

At these words the camera turned to the final tarp waiting to see what was under it. However many gasped in shock when a giant blue metal hand poked out, grabbing the edge of the tarp and carefully removed it. As the tarp was rolled back a massive humanoid mech with blue and yellow plating was revealed as the massive almost 18 meter tall mech stood up, hazard lights around the clearly visible but well protected cockpit located in the chest flashed to life.

"Attention please, we have a direct line to the pilot." Inko called as she held out Izuku's phone.

"Hello everyone." Izuku's voice came from the phone. "This is the MS-06 worker varient, it's powered by a Minovsky partical ultra compact fusion generator and with normal use limits being kept is capable of running for 12 hours before overheating and six months of daily use before needing a refill. It has an inbuilt shovel, high power tension crane, rear cargo storage and inbuilt thermal, low light and backup camera vision options."

The media was left speechless as the massive mech effortlessly moved through the obstacles much like how a human would be moving if everything would be scaled down. The Yaoyorozu corp representatives looked impressed, as did their heiress. Hatsume looked like someone promised her all the free tools and materials for inventing she could ever need. The Zabi family however were seething in anger, something Inko took note of. The Zabi family after all were rumoured to of gotten their wealth and company after the assassination of the former head Roger Aznable and his wife Alice Aznable formerly Zabi by the villain Muscular which left their two children orphaned with one having fun away from the orphanage several years ago.

"The MS-06 worker varient requires minimal training to use and is equipped with an emergency power generator capable of four hours additional use in the event of the main reactor failing or the main circuits being damaged." Izuku continued to explain as he finally laid down the cargo crate he had picked up at the start of the demonstration in the designated area and walked his way back to the truck who he laid the mech down before powering it off and climbing out. "Only thing that needs improving on this model is the lack of cup holders."

"Holy hell." Mr Uraraka uttered in shock, his mouth hanging open. "Just how much does that cost?"

"We've managed to get the cost down to 1.2 million per unit with each unit lasting an estimated 10 years." Izuku explained.

"US?" Mr Uraraka gulped. That was a lot of money.

"Yen." Izuku replied shaking his head with a smile. "all materials are recycled and the generators are the most expensive thing in there taking up around one third of the entire cost for this between them."

"Any questions?" Inko asked as she walked over and handed Izuku back his phone.

"Um Yes." The blacked haired heiress of the Yaoyorozu corporate stated as she took a step forwards. "On behalf of my parent's company I would like to negotiate for purchase or loan of several of these units to help in the highway repair project we've invested in."

"Mum?" Izuku asked.

"I don't see why not." Inko replied with a smile.

"I'll organise a meeting for a later date soon Heiress Yaoyorozu." Izuku replied to the black haired woman.

"Please Midoriya, just call me Momo." The black haired woman smiled with a faint blush.

"Very well Momo, you can call me Izuku." Izuku replied with a blush.

End.

How do you think the Zabi family will be reacting to all of this?

Which MS do you want to see developed next by Izuku for hero use?
