CYA: What Defines A Hero: Bad Path

this story revolves around the Entirety of Class 1A being isekai'd into the one-punch man world. The story contains light spoilers post-season 6. The story goes up until right after the psycho sister's arc so I guess spoilers for one punch season 3 as well. the alternative path on A03 is to be uploaded later here.

14. Month 2: Week 1: A Rocky Start

Welp you guys are officially all caught up, the next chapter will be on the first of September. as for the question asked by the guest why I decided to end before the MA raid, it was mostly due to not wanting to go to far past where season 2 of OPM ending, however with the announcement of season 3 ...IDK things could change, I have been having thoughts about this story splitting off into 2 different endings based on the sites I'm uploading to, but forewarning the longer they stay the worst the ending basically becomes if I do decide to increase the time they have.

The Zombieman murder case: Flash, Zombieman, Child Emperor's group, Genos's group, Darkshine, Saitama, metal bat, Tokoyami, Kirishima, Iida, Koda

Iida was a bit surprised when the helicopter ride he and flash had taken went over the hero association headquarters and into a mountainous area, he was even more surprised when the climate began to change and become incredibly colder than it was originally. Flash had explained to him that his training wasn't entirely over and that he would now train up here in the mountains and cold to harden his body against the elements. Iida noted how flash was incredibly more colder to him then his time training with him prior, he had miraculously managed to manifest another weighted suit for him that was double the weight of his previous one that he had to wear now and the training he underwent seemed even more complex and dangerous then previously like he didn't care anymore if he got hurt or not. And he couldn't figure out why? What caused such a monumental change in his attitude and methods?

Did he do something wrong? Every time he asked about it, Flash would blow him off and make his next training assignment even harder, only stating if he couldn't figure it out he was just a lost cause. This all came to a head when it was getting close to sundown one day the wind and snow started to pick up more heavily almost to the point of becoming blinding even through his weighted clothes and armor he could feel winter start to grip his being. Flash had forced a paper into his hands.

"This should lead you to a lodge, 40 kilometers from here and this should be an adequate equivalent to what I lost because of you and I'm also taking this." flash said, forcing Iida to look up from the hastily drawn map and was stunned at what he found in the blonde hero's hands, he was so shocked and disbelief that he had to make sure what he saw was real, staring down to the back of his legs and his eyes widened in shock his mufflers they were gone….well not gone entirely but they were cut dramatically short almost back to the length they were originally before he pulled them out.

"What the hell did yo-" Iida voice died in the open air as once he turned back to look at flash he was gone, just like that he evaporated like out of thin air on top of that he took his backpack full of his things. He left him with nothing and dramatically reduced his quirk ability all for what? What the hell did he do to piss the hero off so much? Than a possible solution came to him and he slammed his head directly into the nearest frost covered tree… there's no way…there is no conceivable unbelievable way that someone that uncaring of human life..someone that could kill a person without a second thought..is so precious of something so insignificant…he slammed his head against the tree again…. It's the only possible explanation ..it's all started when it happened…. slam… ..he cut off his mufflers… slam …taken his supplies.. slam …and just stranded him here in the middle of nowhere with only a map.. slam …just because he lost a few strands of hair!?

He slammed his head into the tree one more time before he began to focus himself, he needs a plan of action he can worry about flash later Iida thought as he looked at the map he gave him before he left the "hero" probably already went their and with no other options that where he must go as well. So Iida began to walk towards where the lodge was located, it became increasingly difficult when the storm started to pick up and obscured his vision and made the snow even harder to traverse.

He had to make large stomping steps to make sure that he got proper footing, if he had to thank flash for anything about his current predicament it was that his weighted cloths gave him much more traction in this deep snow he was walking through every time he would stomp his foot into the ground it would dig in and find purchase and the clothes were incredibly isolated even in this cold climate it was somewhat comforting, while he would undoubtedly be freezing in traditional clothing now he could remark the weather as mostly just cold(like 40 degrees Fahrenheit) but how long that would last he didn't know with every step he felt like he was getting colder and colder even the best isolated clothing could only do so much after all. But that led him down to thoughts of flash again. Did he actually plan to abandon him in a storm? He didn't encounter any overheating with his previous weighted clothing in a vastly warmer climate but maybe that was because he trained nonstop so any additional heating he would have originally chalked up to just that. Never mind that he just had to keep moving.

After two hours of walking it became dark and the snow and wind started to blow into a full on blizzard visibility became even worse and the rampant wind began to make him feel even colder. He started to feel the cold get to him, his hands began to fire up with the familiar signs of low level frost bite. He pondered about the possibility of making a fire and hunkering down but thought better of it, he didn't have any supplies to start a fire and the wood from the trees were all frozen over and given the current climate and wind he doubted he would be able to keep the fire going if he could even manage to get it started in the first place. But more importantly he was more concerned about his surroundings, he had the eerie feeling that something was following him but he could never make it out and his hearing was completely stomped as well due to the storm, he couldn't tell if the dropping of a tree was due to something, someone, or the weather. He jumped a few times at sounds loud enough to be heard over the wind but after completely halting his movements and surveying his surroundings he would begin to proceed again more cautiously than before.

He didn't know how far he had traveled at that point but he assumed that he was at least halfway to the lodge at this point, he was starting to get thirsty and hungry it was fully nighttime now if he had to guess and as he marched through the woods towards the designated area before coming to a complete stop once he had heard a snap followed by a crashing sound each getting closer and closer to him, he took several steps back as he began to sweat and watched as something started to approach him from the shadow it's resembled that of a large grizzly bear but from where it mouth was supposed to be laid a strange glowing yellow light almost in the shape of a human face. Was this a monster? He was even more surprised when the beast spoke, it began with a guttural laugh almost maniacal, like a beast found a toy to play with.

"Hehe, looks like a lost knight has come to die."

"W-who.. Are you?" Iida said taking another step back from the man/beast it was hard to tell but as the massive creature stepped into the light it almost looked liked a person in a suit but he was much larger than any person he seen which made him have doubts the 8ft tall creature stepped out of the shadows and into the light, it's claws pressing into the tree bark before collapsing entirely.

"I'm the mighty Bruinado. I was an adventure that has now gained the strength of the wild, you will make a lovely sacrifice for it." it? What did this creature…this Bruinado mean by it? Whatever it meant, it was trouble that's for sure. Iida knew that meant he was going to have to fight this creature but the landscape was not at all welcoming to his talents with the heavy snow and the potential ice that could trip him up. The only benefit the weather awarded him was that his mufflers would take a longer time to overheat. He estimated that he may have 20 minutes if he used it in this climate but could his new smaller mufflers handle the strain his older one endured? He shook his head that didn't matter now he had to try, he wouldn't be able to fight this thing without his quirk.

Iida activated his quirk and launched forth towards Bruinado as fast he could hoping to end the fight as quickly as possible, he jumped up to strike the bear on the side of the neck but to his shock the creature grabbed the strike and threw him through several tree's his back exploded in pain as he finally stopped on his fourth tree he hit, the tree that he hit collapsed on top of him through the leaves and the snow he could barely see the bear creature begin to charge at him by the sound of the crunching of its feet on the snow and sound of trees being tossed aside confirmed it. Thinking quickly, Iida used his quirk to launch the piece of the tree that was on top of him into the air, quickly standing up before kicking the piece that fell back down towards the creature. The creature raised to two feet again before swiping the log away, Iida used the log as a distraction quickly charging at the creature using the flying log to conceal his position before the Bruinado could realize Iida was there delivering a snap kick straight to the creature's jaw.

to his shock the bear barely budged from his full fledged kick smiling back down at him as he grabbed Iida's extended leg, it reeled back with it's other paw and slashed out towards his chest, Iida twisted out of the way to avoid the brunt of the damage but the claws still cut deep, shredding the upper portion of his chest armor all the way down towards his elbow, he didn't just work on avoiding the attack either but returning one of his own. He managed to land a kick on the creature's neck but again it seemed to have no effect, the creature laughed as he proceeded to throw him again across the woods luckily he didn't slam into any more trees but the ground wasn't too much better either landing on some particularly icy snow.

"Good, good I like it when they try to fight back, gets me excited again like when I was the top dog around here." Bruinado said as he approached.

He slid a couple of feet before he slammed the back of his head into another tree. Iida was momentarily disoriented from the blow but awake enough to avoid the bear's charge that was coming his way. He was about to stand up again but a burning and cool sensation came from his chest he pressed a hand to his chest examining himself and once he took it away, it came back with blood, the claws had penetrated further than he thought even cutting through his weighted clothes as well which exposed his body to the elements even more, a shiver rode down his spine at the breeze along with the stinging pain as snow touched the scars around his chest. He needed to change his approach from fighting to escape if he couldn't hurt the creature he had to run away there was no other option. As the bear was still recovering from his charge he turned away and activated his engine boost and sped away luckily for him there weren't many obstacles in his way so he had open terrain to go. He didn't care if he was heading away from the lodge but hopefully he could circle around once he lost his adversary. Or so he thought he heard the crunching and stomping of Bruinado seemingly right behind him.

He tempted to take a look behind him and sure enough the bear creature was right there it's evil smile following him, gaining on him, the bear lunged forwards with a tackle hitting Iida in the back causing him to lose his balance and fall forwards tumbling through the snow and landing in a ditch. he immediately turned around to spot Bruinado who was jumping down at him, he rolled out of the way before throwing a kick to the creature's face this one aimed at the glowing yellow section which he hoped was a weak point, it had some effect somewhat jarring the creature enough that it's next swipe missed his leg entirely, Iida scurried back on his haunches before throwing some snow in the creatures face that leap at him again. The bear was momentarily stunned by the distraction enough for Iida to get around it and attempt to run away again but before he could a massive pain erupted from his shoulder, the bear had spent around fast enough to lock his jaws around the small teens shoulder piercing through his armor and clothes, Iida tried to kick the bear away but due to the angle he couldn't get any good momentum for each attack.

The bear picked him up by the shoulder and violently shook him before slamming him down roughly into the side of the ditch. The impact aggravating all of the wounds he had sustained so far, his training with flash, combined with his trek in the elements, and the fight just now was all hitting him all at once he was exhausted and he began to black out as the bears yellow glowing face began to draw closer to him the last thing he heard as his world went black was the words.

Exploding shuriken.

Iida woke up suddenly and sprang up into motion before recoiling from his injuries he looked at his chest and while he was still bleeding but there were some herbs covering it preventing the wound from infection probably, he tested his shoulder and another pain shocked through him, making him wince.

"I wouldn't move that shoulder much, it was recently dislocated." a voice that Iida was unfamiliar with sounded in the distance, he moved his head to the voice to see someone sitting across from him, he took in his surroundings there was a small fire that was in front of him and he as well as the stranger across from him were sitting on logs. He took in the strangers' look. He wore all black with metallic covering across his body along with a purple scarf and purple markings under his eyes. His eyes widened slightly and his body stiffened as his clarity returned to him. If his thoughts were correct he believed he remembers this individual on the hero associations bounty boards? Wasn't he an S-class criminal? His name escapes but he knows he has seen him before and that's the only place he could possibly be from.

"What are you doing out here?" He said, making Iida panic even more as he tried his best to keep his surprise contained, he had to think about this objectively and remain calm. Wait, the bear?

"Whe…where di…di the monster go." Iida's voice was hoarse and dry probably from the weather but also because he hasn't drank anything in who knows how long.

"It took off somewhere in the forest." was all the stranger replied with I guess he scared it off Iida thought.

"So what are you doing out here?" the stranger asked again. Iida had to play this smart this was a wanted villain and a incredibly tough one at that if his S-class bounty was anything to go by so saying that he was a hero could be dangerous he could bluff and say that an S-class was with him but that was a lie and it wouldn't make sense for said S-class to leave him in a dam forest.

"I'm training." was all Iida replied with nice and simple.

"That much is obvious, the weighted clothes give that away. But why?" the stranger replied. Making Iida nervous was he on to him?

"I…I want to become a hero." Iida replied it was a pseudo truth.

"A hero eh? I never got the reason for that, risking your life for people that don't pay you enough. Sounds awful." the stranger replied. So he's an assassin Iida thought, was he affiliated with the human trafficking ring they just stopped?

"I…I come from a line of hero's you could say. " Iida replied

"Interesting. I'm guessing your training with your folks then? But the map they gave you is shitty, if you're aiming for the lodges. They're 12 kilometers in that direction." he pointed in the southeast. Iida was stunned for a moment, did flash give him a defective map? Oh that man is….he couldn't even say the words.

"Thank you….my ….master must have been confused." Iida said to the stranger through gritted teeth.

" No problem…but just a word of warning before becoming a hero." the stranger said standing up.

"Wh…what..would that be?" Iida asked, gulping slightly in worry.

"Don't come after me or I will kill you." The stranger said before suddenly disappearing from sight and leaving without a trace. Iida took a moment to calm himself down and breathe a little bit and rest up by the fire before starting his track towards the lodge once he warmed up a bit.

The group of four S-class heroes and their entourage were making their way through the snowy mountain. The child emperor had a carrier robot behind him holding the 8 rabbits following along with them, it was currently further away with the rest of the teens that accompanied them.

"what's with the cage anyways. Child emperor?" zombieman asked looking back.

"Oh that? That's just a promise I'm keeping to teens back there." child emperor replied.

"You're gonna set them out here, you sure about that?" metal bat asked

"It's the best place as any." child emperor replied

Jiro, Mina, koda, kirishima, tokoyami all gathered around the large carrier machine as it was about to open its contents and let out the 8 rabbits, as the machine did so, the rabbits slowly one by one got out of the large cage and observed their surroundings, the teens oohed at how all of the rabbits started to blend into their surroundings turning all white.

{Well this is it, this is your guy's new home.} koda said in his anivoice

{What's …the catch.} the leader said, stepping forward towards Koda as the rest huddled together.

{no catch you guys are all free now just try and stay away from people and you can go} koda replied

{What..of….chips.} another bunny piqued up from the group. Koda shook his head before, opening his hands and showing the bunnies all the chips that child emperor had installed in their necks.

{I had him take them out before we brought you out here.} the bunnies all came around to sniff the chips in his hands before all crowding around the caring teen and rubbing their bodies around him.

{Thank…you..} was all he could hear them say almost in unison, Koda was rubbing some of their backs to return their affection, Mina was emboldened by this display and attempted to join in on the fun, rubbing a few of them on the back.

"I'm gonna miss you guys." Mina remarked , some of the rabbits turned to each other and mocked a hiss that made the girl jump backwards landing in the snow. Causing all of the bunnies to laugh a bit before running, a couple ran up to her and started licking her, thanking her for giving them a chance before almost all of them turned their sights to Jiro.

"Nope I'm good you can-" Jiro was starting to say before she was tackled by the large rabbits who nibbled at her hair and clothes .once they decided they had enough the rabbits all began to leave into the forest. Almost disappearing from sight entirely as they blended into their environment. The three teens waved goodbye as the rabbits left.

"Alright let's get a move on already!" metal bat yelled down towards them and the teens all obliged, child emperor sent his machine back towards headquarters. The group began to wander through the snow in search of the fabled monster but had no such luck in locating it. The wind started to pick up and snow began to fall more heavily. Child emperor suggested heading to an association affiliated lodged nearby to wait out the storm.

The group started to slowly progress marching in the snow storm, Metal bat mumbled out a stream of curses as he gripped his leather jacket.

"I'm freezing to death." he said out loud towards the group.

"This is nothing if you've got muscles." darkshine replied he held up both his arms high and flexed.

"Yeah!" kirishima yelled out in encouragement mimicking his coach's pose with a large smile also just like his master he chose to forgo traditional winter clothes only wearing his hero suit through the storm even through his bravado and jovial voice his friends could tell a slight shiver ran through his features which were hardened with the use of his quirk.

Mina eyes wondered over darkshine and than kirishima physique almost as a comparison he obviously didn't measure up to the tanned man but he had his own qualities to him and his training with the man had definitely been paying off, she hadn't noticed it previously but he had built up a good sum of muscle on his bones and his back was more defined than before, she couldn't describe why she was focusing so much on kirishima at that moment but her thoughts were drawn from her as a sudden tapping on her shoulder drawn her back to reality turning to look at her earjacked friend who held up a hand to her mouth as she spoke.

"Dang mina looks like you're enjoying the show." Jiro said quietly with a slight chuckle, Mina noticeably blushed hiding her face in the oversized hoodie.

"I….I have no …idea what you're talking about, I'm just worried he'd catch a cold is all." Mina mumbled out.

"Right…right…when were you the one that's worried about things such as safety again?" Jiro remarked, making Mina let out a sigh that showed from the snow, she didn't have a response to her teasing…at first she could just brush her and kirishima's shipping as just nonsense but ever since their time in the mall, things seemingly changed she started to notice him more, feel him more or maybe she just opened her eyes to it finally as Toru told her.

"Whatever doesn't kill you." Zombieman said

"Makes you stronger." tokoyami silently murmured in continuation

The group continued moving through the path laid into the snow until child emperor halted them. In the wind of the blizzard visibility was pretty scarce but even with that he could definitely see what appears to be fire shooting forth at something a couple of hundreds of meters away from them. He wanted to investigate but after hearing the words "Die!" shouted by what sounded like a human followed by a soft thump and even more flames he decided that it would have been wise to be a little more cautious. Well he would have like to if the teens didn't make so much noise running up from behind him.

"I know that scream anywhere. Bakugo! '' Kirishima yelled as he passed and headed towards the flames, quickly followed by the rest of his friends, child emperor just let out a sigh and followed along. He guessed that there were more people on this mountain than just them after all. People would regularly visit the lodge, he thought.

Eventually the group came across the two teens who appeared to be fighting each other, Bakugo dodging one of Todoroki's flames that he shot out of his right side, his class stared in disbelief as kirishima continued forwards unabated. As the two boy's finally noticed him and stopped what they were doing.

"What are you extras doing here?" bakugo askes/shouted

"We are here looking for some monster, you guys wouldn't have happened to see some sort of red bear around?" kirishima asked with a sharp grin

"No, the only monsters we have encountered are some sort of wolves." Todoroki said casually.

"Hold up, are we just going to ignore Todoroki shooting flames out of his right side?" mina said as she approached

"Oh that, it's just a new thing I'm working on, demon cyborg suggested this would be the best environment to test it. I call it phosphorus red or phosphorus white. It allows me to use the two elements of my quirk on either side of my body.``

"So you both are using the blizzard for training?" tokoyami inquired.

"Yes." Tokoyami replied.

"Wait aren't you weaker in the winter." kirishima joked as he slapped bakugo on the back and receiving the expected response.

"Shut up!" bakugo yelled as he launched an explosion towards his face. The explosion was smaller than regular and kirishima confirmed it with the same smile he wore as the smoke cleared

"Yup, definitely weaker." he said with a laugh, making bakugo grumble a bit.

"Yes, once the demon cyborg knew of his weaknesses too cold he wanted him to train in it with me, allowing for us to grow." Todoroki said simply.

"That makes sense, so you're essentially his battery out here." jiro remarked

"Yes-"

"YADADA! You guys can talk about this once we're in the lodge!" metal bat yelled out as the group of S-class heroes continued to move on. The teens all followed along, todoroki used his flames to light the path and create a warmer area to travel, something that metal bat was instantly grateful for. The group finally made it to the lodge and the first thing they saw when they entered was none other than genos and his master.

"Oh you guys got stuck up here too?" Saitama said

"Tch." came an annoyed sound from above as a man with blonde hair walked out of a room

"You guys better not interfere with my "me" time." flash remarked as he walked away to get in the shower. Not like this is your house, child emperor thought to himself.

"Hey wasn't that Iida's teacher?" Jiro remarked

"Oh, you're right, Iida!" mina began to yell for their class president

"STOP YELLING!" both bad and bakugo yelled at the girl, making the girl hide behind the others.

"That brings us to the issue of rooming." child emperor remarked as he pulled out of the lodge it was pretty basic and showed all the rooms on the second floor.

"There are 12 rooms along with a small storage closet and if my count is correct there are 15 of us here." child emperor said.

"So some of us are going to have to bunk together." zombieman said.

"Like hell I am." bad said

"Me and sensei will take the largest room." genos said.

"Huh?...tch I guess we don't have much choice." Saitama said with a sigh.

"Me and Jiro can bump together." mina said with a smile

"I'm pretty sure that was implied, you know being the only two girls here." Jiro said sarcastically., earning a slight roll of the eyes from the pink girl.

"I can bunk with bakugo.'' Kirishima said enthusiastically.

"Like hell you are, you walking brick." bakugo countered explosively.

"Come on man, don't be like that." kirishima said, only earning a scoff in response as bakugo looked away, kirishima held a thumbs up to the group. Tokoyami noticed that dark shadow becoming slightly agitated and asked his shadow what was wrong he expressed that he felt like something moved outside of the window but it remained incredibly still almost impossibly so for an organic being in that blizzard so he thought that it may have been just some snow piling up. Tokoyami noted his concern and told dark shadow to keep a look out just in case.

"Koda, Iida, and tokoyami could share the second larger room." Kirishima remarked as he pointed to the second large room.

"Well in that case I'll take the quietest room. I'm guessing flash took the room directly diagonal from this one." child emperor said, pointing to a room far away from the others.

"Hey who put you in charge?" metal bat argued wanting also a quiet room.

" I'm fine with anything as long as I can workout." Darkshine said starting to perform squats, Kirishima soon followed his example again.

"Your neighbors are going to love you." metal bat remarked sarcastically.

"Well who is going to the room next to who then?" Mina asked.

This started a whole new conversation of where people will be situated and next to who went the conversation was suddenly cut off as a loud crash was heard coming through the window, dark shadow acted first lunging at the object that came inside before halting last moment when he realized it was a human. Hovering above the nearly frozen man in all black.

"Oh, aren't you spike round? No…speedo down?..,ugh, was it faintest sound sonic." saitama said casually

"Speed 'o sound-" the dark skinned man said as he fell unconscious.

"Ugh…now what?" metal bat said casually.

"You know him?" zombieman asked saitama.

"Kinda..he's like a crazy stalker or something." Saitama said with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Who in their right mind would want to stalk you." bakugo taunted.

"By my readings this individual is an S-class criminal speed 'o sound sonic." genos commented earning some alarm from all the teens involved.

"Well in that case, we should tie him up and put him somewhere until we finish our mission. We should probably put him in the storage room." child emperor remarked as darkshine went over to pick the stranger and he went into the kitchen to grab a couple of things.

After some time had passed the teens were surprised when the S-class heroes went inside the captives' cell carrying things such as blankets and food and drinks. After a moment the S-class heroes came out of the storage room and demon cyborg called down to them.

"Frozen-phoenix and king explosion dynamite you will guard the prisoner, make sure he doesn't escape from your sight." he said as they all separated towards their rooms.

"Who the hell gave you the authority to do that?" Bakugo shouted back but he was ignored by demon cyborg as he and his master went into their room and shut the door. Making bakugo simmer again with anger.

"We should just do as asked bakugo, if he truly had an S-class bounty on his head then it is only wise that he assigned us to watch over him." todoroki tried to calm him down by appealing to his nature of strength bakugo sent him a death glare but sucked his teeth and relented.

"Yeah you guys are the strongest among us so who better to watch the prisoner." Kirishima joked as well, earning a pillow thrown in his face.

"Well, we're going to get comfortable in our rooms and look for Iida. He isn't answering any of my messages." Mina said as she took Jiro's hand.

"We..we shouldn't bother him too much he may be sleeping." Koda argued as he and Tokoyami, and Kirishima followed after the two upstairs. Bakugo and Todoroki both went up stairs as well before stopping in front of the storage closet where they're prisoner was, bakugo took a look inside to make sure the prisoner was still there receiving a glare from the individual inside as he shut the door again.

There they waited as time passed the hero's began to come and go, zombieman had gone downstairs to enjoy himself a drink, child emperor spent his time trying to locate the monster with his technology but the blizzard proved that it was almost impossible to find, metal bat was on a "kite" call with his sister, and saitama was reading manga. A few hours pass and jiro and mina both approached bakugo and todoroki, their body language exuded worry and anxiety.

"Guys, we have a problem." Jiro said in a serious tone.

"What's wrong?" todoroki asked

"Iida is not here. We checked all the rooms." Mina said concern in her voice.

"What? But that was his teacher correct?" Todoroki said, beginning to stand up from his sitting position.

"Don't get so carried away he could have just left him back at the headquarters." bakugo said simply.

"Sato is there and he didn't see him at all and he would have surely messaged us if he returned back already." Jiro argued, getting slightly agitated.

"And calling him goes straight to voicemail." mina said with more concern

Bakugo sucked his teeth and was about ready to stomp down to that blonde man's face and ask what the hell was going on before he was stopped by the muffled sound of the prisoner.

"If you're talking about someone that wears white and blue knight armor, I may know where you could find him." the prisoner said through the door, making everyone outside the door freeze and look at each other, slowly and cautiously all of them began to file inside the storage room and approached the strange man in black suit and purple markings.

"Start talking." bakugo demanded as he took a menacing step forwards towards the tied up man letting a small explosion ring out from his hand.

"Haha, that's not how this works, what are you going to do for me?" the strange man asked.

"What!?" bakugo was about to say before being interrupted by todoroki

"I assume you want us to let you go for the information?" todoroki corrected.

"Now you're more reasonable." the stranger said

"You can't be serious? This is a criminal we don't negotiate with criminals." bakugo remarked but Before Todoroki was going to say something else Jiro drew all the teens attention away.

"ugh..guys , look at this." Jiro said , the teens all turned to look and saw in the storage closet a bag but not just any bag it was the bag that Iida had with him before the trip..which meant he was here and added credence to this man claim to have seen him before. Todoroki turned to bakugo and the two stared each other down before he gave a slight irritated nod.

"Ok you hav-'' Todoroki was about to say as he turned back to the prisoner but was surprised when the only thing he found was rope in his place, before he could make head or tails of what just happened everyone around him began to fall towards the ground unconscious and suddenly he did as well.

"Fools, untying oneself is a ninja's specialty. Now towards my true target.`` Sonic said as looked around the room before looking at the floorboards and getting a great idea.

A big explosion rocked the cabin as everyone began to file out of their rooms into the darkened hallway. child emperor managed to get the power back on online before noticing where the explosion seemed to have originated from the living room, the group of heroes and teens came stopped above the living room, child emperor began sweeping his flashlight to and fro before noticing the dead form of zombieman making everyone gasp in shock, tokoyami took it one step further racing down forgoing the stairs and using dark shadow to float down to where his teachers laid still he checked for a pulse but found none, he looked up to the group on the steps and shook his head. Earning even more shocked looks.

"was …was it the monster." koda said nervously looking around the cabin.

"Damn I'm gonna whack it good!" bad said agitated.

"Wait a minute judging from my scanners other than everyone that has already been accounted for I'm sensing no one else in the lodge, which means no one entered from outside." child emperor said.

"I concur." genos said, using his eyes to scan the local surroundings

"Wait, so you're saying." bad began

"Yes, the perp is inside the lodge." child emperor remarked

A shocked gasp from tokoyami drew the upstairs crew's attention back down towards them, as zombieman slowly began to rise up from the ground cracking his neck and stretching as if nothing happened.

"You regenerated already?" child emperor questioned

"Yeah, sorry about that." zombieman said casually.

"That's…. impossible , you had no pulse?" tokoyami remarked

"I guess we know why they call you zombieman." dark shadow said as he emerged out again.

"Nice to know you care." zombieman joked as the light finally managed to power back on in the living room.

After some mild renovations on the windows again the group got together to talk about what happened after zombieman was able to retell what had happened to him in the darkness which wasn't much. The group began to question who would have the motive to attempt to kill zombieman after metal bat expressed that everyone in the lodge were heroes so no one would have the reason to kill him but genos rebuffed him stating that one person in the lodge was not a hero.

"Just a minute! I didn't do it." The group heard from the balcony above spotting the man that crashed inside before he suddenly disappeared and reappeared a couple of feet in front of them.

"He's gone?" Koda said, getting spooked.

"That was a residual image." the ninja said with a smug smile.

"I thought we tied you up?" metal bat questioned.

"Hmph I couldn't even tell if you tied knots." sonic replied

"Wait, what happened to bakugo and todoroki?" Kirishima remarked, walking up closer to the man hardening his hands in threat, dark shadow approaching right beside him. Sonic didn't seem intimidated, still standing there with his smug smile.

"Of them they're just taking a little nap in my quarters." he remarked in jest. Kirishima sucked his teeth before he and Koda went to go check up on them.

"I could have escaped at any time I liked , I just have a score to settle and I can't stand someone besmirching my name.' sonic said casually.

"Well it couldn't have been a hero." darkshine remarked.

"Not necessarily, the monster could have potential mind control or shape shifting powers." child emperor said. This started another conversation where everyone began to be weary of each other again of a possible faker or someone that was being controlled in the moment to kill again.

Koda and Kirishima had just made it to the storage closet and started to wake up the four individuals inside. Bakugo immediately sprang up and started to look around before cursing and clenching his fist these damn ninjas are really starting to get on his nerves.

"I'm glad you guys are alright.' Kirishima remarked.

"What happened while we were out? Where is the prisoner?" todoroki asked

"He's down their with the hero's something's weird happening there was this random explosion that took place and nearly killed zombieman, at first I thought you caused it bakugo.'' Kirishima explained

"What are you two doing here?" Koda asked the girls.

"Koda…Iida is missing, we don't know where he is." Jiro replied, still rubbing her head.

"What? He isn't here with his teacher . What happened to him?" kirishima said seriously

"That's what we were trying to figure out, that guy said he saw him out here but he blindsided us." Mina said, annoyed. Bakugo let out an annoyed grunt before rubbing his hair furiously with both hands and marching out of the room, inwards towards the other rooms.

"Yo bakugo! The living rooms are the other way!" Kirishima called out to him.

"No shit Sherlock, I ain't going that way!' bakugo screeched back, continuing forward. Todoroki got up quickly to follow him before he got too far.

"Bakugo's probably going to confront Flash about this, you all return to the living room and try to get information from the convict." Todoroki said.

"You're not coming with us?" jiro asked

"I'm going to make sure bakugo doesn't do anything foolish judging by how dry it is here now he shouldn't use his explosions so carelessly. '' Todoroki remarked before following after the blonde boy. The others gathered themselves and returned back towards the living room. Bakugo continued marching through the hallways of the dorms getting to the last doorway and banging furiously against it, he heard soft but heavy thumps next to him turning to see icy-hot approaching.

"What are you doing here?" bakugo snapped aggressively

"Just to tell you not to use your explosion it could trigger a secondary reaction due to the dry air and dust that's everywhere." bakugo sucked his teeth and understood but didn't answer him, he banged on the door again.

"Hey you blonde Barbie! you get out here right now! Where is Iida! Get out right now or I'll kill-" bakugo was cut off as he suddenly felt cold metal grace his neck threatening to enter, to his credit he did not react to the threatening gesture whether that was because the event happened so fast that his brain didn't take the time to process it yet or he was just that brave was undetermined. Todoroki was just as stunned he didn't even see the door open or flash step through but currently he held what looked to be a kunai at bakugo's throat so close that todoroki could see the indent in his skin. But bakugo stayed himself even through the threat glaring at the man with eyes that he surely wish could kill.

"I do remember I asked not to be disturbed and even worse your use of that word highly disgust me, like a child throwing an insult. You shouldn't say such terms unless you mean it, let alone if you haven't done so before." flash said with a cold unfeeling tone, the blade pressed deeper for a fragment and actually drew blood todoroki was almost about to attack the hero with his ice right then and there before he pulled the blade back.

" Now what do you two want?" flash said with a stern and annoyed attitude.

"Where is Iida?" bakugo said it, not moving a single inch from his spot, still holding his angered tone.

"By This Iida I assume you mean the boy I was traveling with, he still hasn't made it back yet? He's dumber than I thought." flash remarked. A stream of ice covered the walls almost encompassing flash's hand but he moved it out of the way in time.

"Answer the question." Todoroki said even himself succumbing to some anger at the way he referred to his friend, even more so at the implication of where his friends was while he was here.

"Outside obviously, I would have thought he would have made it here by now. Now if you're done with your pestering. leave." flash remarked before breaking the ice in his doorway and slamming the door in their faces. Both teen stood there in shock of the interaction bakugo was absolutely livid at the exchange and todoroki wasn't that far behind him, there were a few time where he had to keep his fire side under control just so he wouldn't have caused and accident as the two silently marched towards the living room with everyone else.

"Well we have everyone's alibi's" squared away." child emperor said as he began to go over everyone present and judging from the information that we gained from the association about the monster we can rule out mind control or shape shifting he thought as he began to wondered about what other clue could lead them to the culprit.

"Where are the other two?" saitama asked the newer arrivals

"Probably slacking off just as they were when guarding the prisoner." genos remarked

"hah, assigning a bunch of children to guard me just shows how ignorant you all are." sonic remarked

"They went to talk to Flash about our friend." mina said side eyeing the cyborg

"Oh yeah that guy…he could have…achoo!" Saitama sneezed as he spoke.

causing a wind gust to blow open the window and kick up dust, the scene causing child emperor to pause for a moment and found out where, he explained that due to the dry air combined with air fine particles can cause an explosion when exposed to an ignition source which in this case was zombieman lighter, causing everyone in the living room to sputter at the stupidity of the event.

"Guys's something is com-" jiro was about to say before the front door of the building was crushed down. And Bruinado came strolling in taunting his greatness before he was assaulted by each of the S-class heroes and Saitama besides child emperor , completely killing the creature. It fell back on the ground dead.

"Wow that thing must have been tough since it remained in one piece after all that." kirishima remarked.

"Now that both those situations are settled, that leaves us with just one more problem all the heroes in the room said as they turned to the convict in the room."

"Wait before that you said you saw Iida out there, where?" Mina said, approaching the convict.

"Oh that. I found the kid 12 kilometers that way.." he pulled out his blade and cut a whole into hastily covered window coverings, it was so fast that most of the hero's were looking away and as they turned to face him again he was gone. Just then, zombieman, todoroki and bakugo bursted into the living room again.

"Where is that guy?" bakugo said through gritted teeth.

"He's gone." jiro remarked

"But he said he saw Iida 12 kilometers that way." mina said pointing at where he cut into the windows .bakugo nodded.

"Koda and Kirishima, with us." bakugo said as all four students began to step outside.

"Wait what's happening?" child emperor asked

"It seems your friend left Iida outside by himself." Jiro remarked.

Child emperor let out a sigh, he knew the S-class was a difficult bunch of people and the association honestly should have thought of this before just handing these teens out to them,, hopefully the guy's ok, the amount of headache he would have to endure if he wasn't would be torturous.

The group of four students marched out into the snow and walked outside towards the window front, surprisingly directly under the window seal was a more intricate map of where they could find Iida. They marched a couple of feet as Koda used his anivoice to communicate with the animals to try and locate him as Todoroki used his phosphorus red to light the way. After about one kilometers of walking in the direction and finding a strange path and followed by footprints the group began to hear thrashing and growls worrying them to which they quicken their pace. Todoroki began to see some shadows moving in the snow. It was a humanoid figure that was surrounded by a bunch of smaller figures, bakugo recognizing the sound ordered koda to let out a big screech and he obliged and used his anivoice, the creatures that was surrounding the larger figure began to shake their heads and growl/whimper. Before running off. As the group got closer, they finally found their target, Iida was bleeding from his chest and had seemingly a bite mark on his right shoulder, along with smaller bites on his legs. He looked at the group with pure joy before he began to topple over, bakugo used his explosive speed to catch him before he reached the snow and the first thing he noticed was how heavy he was, his knees nearly buckled because he didn't expect the sudden weight

"Kirishima help me hold onto him and todoroki turn up the heat" bakugo demanded as the two carried him over towards the half and half boy, they both carried him on each shoulder as they started on their way back towards the dorm. Koda followed after them before he heard a small noise.

{fa…father…fath..father.} he heard a creature cry out through its whimpers and cold shivers.

He looked around for the voice and noticed that a small cub was following them from some distance away. He was tempted to ignore the small thing but after noticing how cold it looked and scared he just couldn't leave it be. He pretended that he didn't notice the creature and began to slow down, separating himself from his friends to get closer to the small cub.

The bear was in the bushes next to the path as the group cleared the treeline into the open space that led towards the lodge. Koda turned to where the small creature was which panicked the little guy who was about to run away before Koda began to speak to it with his anivoice.

{Hey,hey,hey…. It's ok I won't hurt you.} The cub was shocked that it could understand this human but was still hesitant to stay but there was something about the way those humans smelled.

{Where…where is..my…father.} the cub said trying to come off as threatening but his stutter and body language betrayed the intent. Koda was slightly confused. Why would they know where his father was? He looked the cub over again and saw that its fur was red similar to the monster, his eyes widened and a shiver of sympathy went down his spine no….please…just no, he thought.

{um…come with me….I..think …I know…where he went} koda said with a shaky breath, making the cub slightly take a step back.

{It's ok…I promise no one's going to hurt you. I won't let them. } koda remarked, you will be hurt enough as is by this koda thought. And the cub took one hesitant step back again as bakugo yelled for him to hurry up but ultimately decided to go along with the human. He seemed sincere enough as he got close, the human grabbed him and lifted him up off the ground. The cub thrashed in Koda's grip in panic before Koda started to speak again, rubbing its head.

{it's ok, you're cold aren't you?"} Koda said, squeezing the cub to his chest slightly as he continued to rub its head as if to sooth it which seemed to be working if the small things, little soft grunts were anything to go by. It was also for him to calm his nerves of what's going to happen next.

The four boys came back into the lodge and dropped Iida off on the ground in the living room.

"Oh my god, what happened to him!" Mina said in worry as she looked at the scar on his chest and the deformed shoulder armor, not to mention his legs which had teeth imprints at the bottom.

"He was fighting off some wolves when we found him." bakugo said.

"Wait, where is koda?" Jiro asked as she did a head count.

"He was lagging behind but he should be coming in any moment now." kirishima replied

And just as he said that, Koda walked into the room, carrying the cub next to his chest. The only heroes in the living room at this moment besides the teens were zombieman, darkshine, and child emperor. Zombieman took one look at the little creature in Koda's hand and let out a sigh.

"Don't tell me… that's." zombieman gestured to the red bear cub in Koda's hands, child emperor and darkshine both examined the cub for a moment, making it frightened and hugged Koda closer to get away.

"I….I don't know but possibly." Koda reapplied looking down at the little cub and rubbing his hands through its fur.

"Well you better go out back fast, genos said that he was going to burn the body." zombieman said casually making koda panic and run to the back with the cub in hand.

Child emperor rubbed his hands through his hair and ultimately decided to handle that later for now however the rest of the people in the living room worked on getting Iida better he was clearly injured and bleeding, so they first worked on getting his armor and clothes off and bandaging him up before leaving him to recover in the room. Tokoyami said he and darkshadow would watch over him while the rest of the group was heading back towards the living room at the behest of the 1A teens.

"So what are we going to do about this?" bakugo was the one to start.

"About what?" zombieman said

"About what your friend up there did, obviously." Jiro snapped at the hero.

"She's right, what he did goes way beyond training , he abandoned him out there with nothing but an awful roundabout map to get here! And he didn't even seem to care if he got hurt or not." Mina joined in the bashing.

"I thought you said he was cool bro." Kirishima complained to darkshine, he raised his hands up.

"He normally is, he doesn't really mess with or treat others harshly." darkshine said in defense.

"Well how would you explain this?" kirishima asked , darkshine could only shake his head, child emperor was also curious he never seen flash as one to do things to harshly from what he known of the man and he usually would ignore people that spoke poorly of him, the only thing he knew for sure was that he was someone that was obsessed with looks. Going down that thought process he noticed that flash looks seemed off , his hair was uneven. Could their friend have caused that and that's why he did that to him? That sounded ridiculous when said out loud but it was believable if all the other S-class were to go by but he wouldn't speak this theory out loud as that would only cause more commotion. Child emperor looked to zombieman who was already staring back at him. Had he come up with the same conclusion that he did?

"Let's leave the why's for some other time, what do you want us to do about it." zombieman asked.

"How about you start with telling the association. His behavior should be punished, no? Todoroki reasoned, and a surprising chortle caught everyone's attention as they looked towards the child emperor.

"Did he say something that was funny to you? squirt" bakugo said menacingly, earning glares from all the teens in the room.

"Sorry …sorry I just.. That confirmed you guys are definitely not from around here" child emperor remarked.

"What do you mean by that?" jiro asked

"When it comes to the S-class heroes the hero association allows them to operate almost completely independently, any collateral damage they cause usually gets swept under the rug. For an example look at anything that happens involving tatsumaki or metal knight." zombieman said

"So you're saying even if we inform them he wouldn't get anything but a weak slap on the wrist at best?" bakugo inquired

"Exactly they'll probably say that they'll look into it but nothing will be done, the S-class are kinda like their super weapons they want as many as possible for monster hunting but also to flaunt their own power." child emperor explained.

"What type of- corrupt- fuck syst-"

"What about you guys?" Mina cut bakugo off.

"Ugh…what about us?" child emperor asked.

"You guys seem like cool and reasonable people the others left before they even found out what happened to our friend, maybe you guys could…um…persuade him to not pull something like that again." Mina said, smacking a fist into her palm. All of the S-class looked at each other for a moment, almost paralyzed by such an odd suggestion.

"Ugh… how bout we just put that Idea on Ice, for now." child emperor said with a light hearted smile.

"A fight between the S-class would be catastrophic and against him? I reckon even if we did miraculously agree to what you're suggesting we wouldn't be able to touch him unless he wanted us to. He has one of the highest combat ratings among the S-class" zombieman remarked.

"He's right, flash…is strong. You wouldn't expect someone with such a little frame to pack as much of a punch as he does." darkshine supplied

"So? What do you just expect us to just let this go? And carry on like usual?" jiro questioned

"Our hands are tied." zombieman said with a shrug, he so desperately wanted to light a cigarette right now but feared causing another explosion.

"You're all just a bunch of cowards." bakugo remarked, dismissively

"Yeah. well show him ourselves then.`` Mina started to move and Kirishima followed after her, both were halted by todoroki.

"Just let it go. We won't get anywhere being knocked unconscious again or worse. '' he said simply, the note making bakugo rub his neck slightly. Before anyone could say anything else, Koda came back into the room.

Koda ran towards the back of the lodge and made it there just in time to he saw Genos pointing his hand towards the bear monster.

"Wait, stop!" Koda yelled as he approached the cyborg with the cub held tightly to his chest. Genos turned to look at the teen, he looked him up and down then focused on the creature in his hands. The small creature quickly wiggles out of his grip before rushing over to the fallen bear monster.

"That creature's biology matches this larger one, nice work in capturing it would save us a trip back here in the future. I'll cook them both." genos said as he raised his hand again.

"NO! That is….was this cub's father, I brought it here so it can pay its respects. You aren't going to hurt it!" koda said getting in between the cub and genos cannons. Genos considered the teen for a moment before powering down his incinerator and walking away and saying nothing, there was no use to cause more problems for his master by interfering with the teens and their problematic issues with monsters, the cub served no threat to anyone anyways.

Koda watched as demon cyborg walked away and finally began to listen in on what the cub was saying and just like he expected the cub was simply crying, constantly nudging his father in hopes that he would somehow wake up and live but no such miracle happened it sat and wept next to its father laying next to him as if he was trying to snuggle up to him for warmth. Suddenly a red aura started to envelope the small creature and it started to grow slightly.

{It was you guy's…wasn't it….you all killed him.} the bear said as it rounded around quickly bearing its new larger claws and bearing its teeth at koda.

{No….no we didn't.} koda was quick to deny, he tried to take some steps away from the cub as it moved forwards threatening to lunge at him, he wasn't technically wrong, him and his friends didn't do anything. It was the heroes from here that killed him but the cub wouldn't understand such a distinction…. Then an idea popped into his head.

{wait..wait there was another one here…he was a bad man in black. He did it.} koda spoke softly he wasn't entirely telling a lie just saying ⅕ of the truth. It seemed to work as the cub posture softened and he looked somewhat more friendly.

{A man in black?..I think I remember someone like that..he hurt my dad previously too.} the bear said angrily.

{Yes..he hurt my friends too.} Koda remarked.

{so you want revenge too?} the bear said almost looking hopefully at him,

{ugh….I…..I do.} koda said in a skeptical tone, he's not really much the revenge type he was more the turn the other cheek type but he needed to get this cub on his side for its sake, if he became a threat no doubt the other heroes wouldn't hesitate to kill it too.

{Then we can get revenge together.} the cub said in finality ,like they just struck a deal. It took one last look at its father before turning away and walking towards koda.

{wa…wait what about your mom?} Koda asked, the cub suddenly looked even more downtrodden and cried again.

{sh….she…she's gone…to…. My father was the only thing I had left. That thing used her as a sacrifice.} the cub said through tears before turning to anger.

{What thing? Is there something else out there in the woods?} Koda questioned, the cub nodded its head.

{The lord of the mountain } the cub said, which caused another switch to turn in Koda's mind. The association only assumed that the bear monster was the king of the monsters here. If that wasn't true then their mission isn't done yet.

{ hey do you know where this new lord lives? me and my friends can get rid of it if you help us locate it. }

{I ….I don't know… it's really big and strong.} the cub said.

{Don't worry about that my friends are pretty strong too. Now let's go get you some payback ok?} Koda said, extending his arms for the cub creature to run into, the cub obliged, hopping into the teens arms. Koda felt kinda wrong about what he was doing. He was manipulating a small innocent animal but he reconciled that it was for his own good and he couldn't just let this creature's death be in vain taking the fall for something another creature did and was doing, especially if it was taking things as sacrifices. He began to walk back into the living room with everyone else.

"Guys, we have a problem." Koda said.

"Now what?" child emperor said exasperated

"We got the wrong monster, there's another one out there." Koda replied, making everyone stand up straighter and look at him.

"I'll assume the small one told you that?" child emperor gestured to the cub, and Koda nodded his head.

"And How do you know it's not just trying to lure us into a trap?" zombieman questioned

"I….it killed its mother. It has no home anymore." was all koda said, as he began to rub the cubs head again.

"Aww…that's so unfortunate" Mina said, getting closer and petting the bear as well.

"I can't imagine how young it must have been when that happened." Kirishima said slightly.

"That still not definitive proof that something's out there." zombieman said, making people look at him more annoyed.

"I believe he's telling the truth." a voice came from the balcony. It was tokoyami. He floated down the stairs using dark shadow.

"Iida had stirred from his slumber slightly and told me about a monster that attacked him. It was the same monster that attacked here, it said that he was going to use him as a sacrifice to another being." tokoyami said. Making zombieman let out a loud sigh of resignation.

" Is he still up?" mina asked

" no, he fell asleep again almost immediately; he's still recovering from his injuries." tokoyami said

"Well where can we find this monster?" Darkshine asked.

"It said that it could lead us directly to him." Koda piped up again.

"Well now that just leaves should we go now or later?" child emperor questioned the group.

"Might as well get this over with now. I'll go tell everyone to come along." zombieman said as he got up from the couch.

"Well everyone should get ready to disembark then." child emperor said as he made his way upstairs.

"Jiro and mina. You two stay here and watch over Iida. We don't know what's gonna happen out there, but I want to ensure that he remains safe. " bakugo said.

" he will be, you guys watch yourselves out there as well." Jiro commented.

"We will." Todoroki replied.

The group gathered into the living room, everyone minus two people present.

"Where's the barbie?" bakugo remarked, irritated.

"Probably doing his hair." zombieman said casually with a shrug. So he had come to the same conclusion child emperor thought.

" Just think of it as a contingency if something attacks the lodge when we're gone, he would surely defend it." child emperor said, waving his hand off.

" I wouldn't count on him for anything at this point" mina muttered

"Everyone's here so let's get the show on the road, the quicker we kill this thing the quicker we can get back inside the lodge." metal bat remarked.

The group all set out into the night, the blizzard was still blowing everywhere, Todoroki and Koda were in the lead followed by everyone else as they followed where the cub was heading. After traveling 20 kilometers, and having his master sneeze again, Genos finally snapped.

"When are we going to arrive? If my master gets sick from this adventure, I will exterminate the small creature." genos said, earning a few glare back from the teens even koda who began to hover closer to the cub.

"It's not that big a deal, genos just chill out." Saitama reprimanded him which immediately changed his mood to obey his master.

"But he does raise a point, when are we going to be there, frostbite is a bitch to heal through." zombieman said, letting out a puff of smoke.

"I think we're already here." Koda remarked as the cub slowly came to a stop and began to shake as if scared, Todoroki increased his flames even more creating a pocket of vision that allowed the whole group to see a massive cave almost 70ft tall and equal parts wide. The light didn't permeate enough to allow them to see inside but something was definitely rumbling inside their. If the shaking ground was anything to go by, genos being as impulsive as ever went to the front of the group and let out a massive incineration blast inside the cave and for a moment there was silence.

"Good with that done we ca-" genos was about to say until a large roar echoed from the caves. The sound was so loud that it started to push the hero's backwards and knocked Koda and the cub off their feet, sending them flying backwards into a tree. Koda made sure to catch the small cub to protect it before impact and Kirishima caught them both. The rumbling began to get even louder, a giant creature emerged from the cave rushing at them the ground shook with every gallop it took, it was so fast and unexpected that genos was almost pierced by the creatures horns luckily darkshine had gotten into its way and blocked its charge even with that the force still drove the hero backwards multiple feet before stopping it, now that the heroes' could get a good look at the beast it was a massive mammoth type creature nearly 60ft tall, with a tail like a Ankylosaurs, ice spines flowing down its back, that suddenly glowed with power and before the creatures massive trunk reared up and blasted out a frost breath at the hero's around it. Todoroki, bakugo, and Genos all fire against it creating a brief patch of space where the hero's were protected. As the breath faded all around them the trees were completely frozen solid in ice.

Zombieman quickly unleashed his magnum and fired rounds into the beast hide.

"You guys, get out of here, the S-class will handle this. frozen -phoenix you get them out of here , that includes you too B-class." zombieman said.

"If you guys say you can handle it." Saitama said with a shrug before turning and walking away, despite reeling in genos earlier he was still pretty cold and he didn't want to get sick. The teens were shocked by the quickness of the bald man to just leave.

"We can stay and fight with you." todoroki insisted

"No, this thing is probably a threat level dragon. You guys get out of here! " child emperor replied as he pulled out a casing and multiple missiles launched out of it and stroked home on the creature making it roar in pain again.

The teens reluctantly agreed and began to leave shouting words of encouragement as they left. Bakugo was angry he didn't get to fight but relented. The crew slowly made their way back from towards the dorm, the sounds of the battle began to get more and more muffled with each step they took. The cub in Koda's hands started to squirm and shake.

{what's wrong?} koda asked

{Somethings wrong…that..that wasn't the lord? It was similar but female and smaller.} the cub said with worry, continuing to shake.

{What are you saying that there are two of those things? And a larger one?} Koda replied in shock, stopping in his tracks making the others in the group look at him.

"Koda? What's wro-" tokoyami was about to ask but suddenly thump, thump, thump the ground began to shake again it was almost impossible to tell from what direction the sound were coming from due to the storm and sound of falling and crashing trees but the teens were suddenly knocked back as the bald man in front of them, suddenly waved his hand pushing all of them out of the way as a massive creature even bigger than the one they saw previously completely tackled him into the distance taking him far off into the night blizzard. The teens recovered and began to get back up.

"What! The hell was that?" bakugo yelled out, rubbing his head.

"That..that was the male." Koda said as he gently held the shivering cub in his hands.

"Male? So there were two of them?" todoroki inquired

"Yeah." koda nodded

"We have to go after them, that guy is probably in serious trouble then." Kirishima said about to follow in the trail of destruction.

" No, if the female was a dragon and that thing is even stronger we wouldn't even stand a chance." Todoroki explained.

" So you just want to just leave him out there to die?" kirishima replied

"We need help, if we can link up with flash and come out here we could potentially help him." Todoroki said calmly.

"He could be dead by then." kirishima complained

"He's Geno's master and bang said that he was stronger than he was, if what they're saying is even partially true then he won't go down that easily. We need to go and come back with support like Todoroki said. " bakugo replied

Kirishima took one last look at the carnage the creature left in its wake and shook his head and the crew began to run towards the dorms. As they broke the crest of the trees towards the open area, a large howl was heard close by, the group turned around to look and could only see the red eyes of creatures in the shadows of the trees.

"Koda, you go get flash. we'll handle these monsters" bakugo said as the rest of the guy's turned to face the monsters that began to emerge from the tree's.

Koda quickly bursted through the door, shocking both Jiro and Mina from what they were doing.

"Koda? Where is everyone else?" Jiro questioned.

"The S-class heroes are busy fighting but the guy's are under attack just outside. I'm going to go get flash for help." Koda said in worry. Mina and Jiro both got up, and started to head outside as koda began to go upstairs but before he did he put the cub down.

{go hide.} koda demanded,

{don't …go.. I ..I don't want to be left alone} the cub replied

{don't worry , I'll be right back. I told you that I won't let you get hurt and I meant it ok.} the cub was hesitant for a moment before nodding its head and running off into the back of the lodge, with that out of the way koda made his way up the stairwell through the halls and in front of flash's door despite the circumstances he still politely knocked on the door, when there was no response he knocked again but again nothing came, so he switched up tactics and did one large bang against the door and and that was followed by a large muffled sounds of an explosion that happened outside the dorm.

"Please flash! I'm sorry if I woke you but we need your help outside immediately. " Another sound of a muffled explosion quickly followed by the lodge being illuminated briefly in light which no doubt was Todoroki's fire, he gave flash's door one more loud bang before, running back downstairs and outside to help his friends.

When he arrived outside the fighting had already began, their were wolf like creatures 5 of them, still in the back of the tree's they would have looked natural if it weren't for their tails instead of a regular scruffy tails it was replaced by a snake like appendage that ended in an opening from this opening they would shoot out ice spikes towards mina and jiro both of which were defending themselves mina using her acid an as a sort of cover dissolving the ice spikes sent her way before jiro would come from round her and fire off a sound waves towards the back but due to the blizzard obscuring her vision and putting off her aim, the wolves were smart as well they wouldn't fire from the same place twice moving along the shadows of the tree line and firing out ice spikes to try and find an open angle at their target but mina would block their every attempt.

Kirishima was currently entangled with a wicked bison it looked normal enough just much bigger than a traditional one and it's horns were more intricate almost like a deer's antlers, it was currently wrestling with the kirishima, he was already in his unbreakable state as the creature had outmuscled him and raised him up before slamming him into the snow. But that didn't deter the red headed teen who launched punch after punch into the monster's neck but he didn't know if they had any effect with the monster's muscle and thick fur in the way. The monster thrashed its head forward and backwards trying to piece Kirishima skin but having as much luck as the teen did with his punches.

Bakugo's opponent was an impressive sight he was surrounded by a ring of fire no doubt created by todoroki's flames, his opponent was none other than a large muscular minotaur beast easily 8ft tall, it wore some sort of medieval armor across it's chest which was black in color carried an equally as tall large sword on it's back but it wasn't using it against bakugo koda noted. The fight between the two almost seemed one sided, bakugo would fly around the creature launching explosions off left and right even with the fire surrounding him they weren't as big as his normal but still sizeable, the massive beast would knock away bakugo everytime he attempted to get in close and deliver a close range explosion launching the kid back with every blow, it almost reminded him of pinball in how fast the interactions went. Anytime bakugo would use his more ranged move the attacks didn't have much of an effect on the beast it would either reduce the attack by blocking or turn its back and allow it's large metal sword to block the attack.

Todoroki was fighting another creature. It held a bluish white appearance, a large cat like being almost like a saber tooth tiger with but almost 5x the size it held eagle like wings and actual snake for its tail. Todoroki shot fire at the large cat but to his shock seemingly out of nowhere a large hurricane of wind protected the creature and in the same instance that hurricane started to move towards Todoroki forcing him to dodge out of the way using his flames as propulsions to help him move. Todoroki seemed to had spoke to the beast and another surprise was that it responded in kind due to the wind and sounds of battle he couldn't hear what they were talking about but it didn't seemed to stop have an affect as another wind storm was hurled at todoroki which he countered with his flames again he found it interesting that both off his sides were firing of flames.

Koda looked over the landscape but again and again but he couldn't find tokoyami anywhere he hoped that he was ok, his constant searching for his friend's location instead found something else. he had spotted something moving in the snow in the distance, it wasn't tokoyami but 8 figures on four legs that seemingly melted into the snow and began to move out towards his friends in all directions the only sign of them was small lumps in the snow like a cartoon goffer. Three were headed towards Jiro and Mina; the two hadn't noticed that, none of his friends did so it was up to him to save them so he did the best things he could. He set his amplifier to maxim and the stun feature and let out a roaring yell in his anivoice he called this move vice shout. It had the desired effects against the monster freezing the up and letting his friends time to get up and have a moment to breathe. It even allowed them to notice the tunneling creatures coming out of the snow, that seemed unaffected by his scream.

He quickly stopped his scream once he realized he was hurting jiro as she fell on the floor clutching her ears in pain, mina quickly drew her attention to her fallen friend both girls didn't notice the three tunneling creatures at all, with his other friends to busy he charged forth while yelling a warning towards them, he felt so guilty that something might happen to her and it would be his fault, he felt some type of feedback like something was calling back to him from his anivoice, he arrived next to Jiro and Mina faster than he thought crossing the the 150 meters between them in only a tenth of second and just in time to the creatures that tunneled in the snow leaped from the ground towards them, koda body seemingly moved on its on and he countered with three lightning fast punches that sent all three creatures spiraling back a surprising distance away. Koda looked down at his fist shocked at what just transpired. Did he do that?

The creatures that looked similar to coyotes but as they stood Koda realized why his anivoice had no effect on them as the creatures struggled to stand up again their face became noticeable they had no eyes or even ears. They only had two separate sets of mouths, a larger one followed by a smaller above its nose, where its ears were supposed to be were large black tentacle-like appendages. The three of them began to stalk closer again to them and the tentacles began to spark with electricity. The sight was slightly scaring koda but he held firm, determined to protect his friends, mina had just in time erected a barrier of acid as the ice spikes started to fire at them again. With her preoccupied and jiro still recovering from his anivoice it was up to him to fend these creatures off but just as the creature in the center stepped towards them it was suddenly attacked by a white blur koda noticed it was larger than the coyotes slightly and wrestled it to the ground ripping and tearing at its neck. Koda was at first disturb but then happiness graced his features when he recognized the familiar shape of the bunnies from before.

Iida was awakened by the sound of Koda's anivoice scream, he immediately went to stand up and regretted his choice immediately as his back, chest and shoulder exploded in pain causing him to spasm for a moment in pain. He heard the sounds of muffled explosions coming from outside along with seeing the light from todoroki's flames encompass the lodge, he took a look out the window but couldn't see much of anything going on. But he knew his friends were in trouble so he had to help them even despite his state he couldn't just let them be. He looked around the room and began to put on some of his armor forgoing the chest piece and helmet as he couldn't find it. He was about to head out of the room when he spotted flash going into a separate room down the hall, his blood boiling over at the sight, there was no possible way that man couldn't hear what was happening outside. He marched over to his door and didn't care about the pleasantries he kicked the door down and stared at the man expectantly.

"You seem lively despite your injuries." flash remarked looking at himself in the mirror, not even taking a glance at him, only Iida's experience and restraint as a hero stopped him from throwing something at flash.

"Are you death! Do you not hear the fighting going on outside?" Iida said, stomping his foot in agitation.

"What about it?" Flash said so casually, still not looking at him. This man was beginning to test his patience.

"Do you have no care for your fellow heroes!? My friends!?" Iida shouted.

"Not particularly." was all flash said in reply. Iida was about to lose it, but he had to make sure of one thing first before he left this…person behind whatever he was, he wasn't a hero.

"Is this all because you lost some hair? Is that really it?" Iida said his fist balled into a fist, flash finally looked at him, his casual and indifferent attitude gone, replaced by one of anger as he glared at him.

"Everything about my body and appearance is the peak of perfection and grace, your interference ruined that. If I wasn't disturbed by you or your friends earlier I would have been done by now and could have been dealing with the threat. But I won't step foot out of this lodge until then. It shall take 10 minutes. If those hero's out there can't last for that long then they were not long for this world in any regard and it will all be your fault." flash said dismissively

10 minutes

Iida balled up his fist and gritted his teeth. Was this man no this bastard going to just sit here and dress up while his friends risked their lives? He marched out of the room in anger, he was angry that someone like that could be a hero in any dimension, he was angry at the man's careless attitude, he was angry that he treated human life so simply, he was angry that…..in some highly twisted way that he might have been right, if he hadn't interfered and messed with flash fight he would have been doing more right now, hell he may have been able to handle the situations himself in that case his friends would have been safe by now….ugh he couldn't think about that now 10 minutes just 10 minutes is all they needed to last for. He felt a sharp pain erupt from his arms as he reached the door but still continued to push through and out into the night. He observed the scene at hand and charged forth his legs bursting with flames as they escaped his mufflers, he charged forth faster than he ever had before and punched/kneed the creature that was pinning kirishima sending it flying away into the forest crashing through the trees.

9 minutes

The new arrival almost stopped all the fighting cold as Kirishima, Koda, Jiro, and Mina stared at him in shock.

"Woah Iida thanks for the help, but you should be in bed you're still hurt." Kirishima said in concern.

"I can't sit Idly by when the rest of you are fighting. as class president, It's my duty to ensure that all of us return home safely." Iida said stoically as he prepared to launch off again but he was halted by something hot touching his arm he looked down at the area only to see that his plate was nearly melted at a certain spot on both of his arms taking off the forearm armor revealed that out of his upper forearm just behind the elbow lied small mufflers emerged out bigger than his current ones but not by much a small smile left him as he remembered his brother tensei.

"I will not let my teachers or my family down, we will all be going home together! in the name of ingenium!" Iida said as he launched off, both of his legs and arms mufflers blazing towards his next target.

8 minutes

The next target on Iida's list to help was todoroki he was currently in a power struggle with the winged cat monster, Iida could tell that the strain of his quirk was starting to get to him as he continued to fight even with the blizzard still going around, the fire he generated was canceling it out even as Iida drew closer he could feel the heat coming off from the battle. he was even worried that the access heat would threaten to overheat his quirk faster. He launched a dive kick towards the cat monster and to his surprise the creature countered the blow with its wing but it still had the effect that he desired drawing its attention away from todoroki allowing him to rest for a moment.

"Another pest has come to die." the monster remarked, surprising Iida with its ability to speak clearly in a female voice. It flapped both wings down creating another storm of its own that forced Iida back, the snow completely concealed the monster in its wake. Iida narrowly avoided an attack from the beast as it charged through the snow directly towards him it's paws were shrouded with electricity and struck the ground from where he once stood but he didn't expect for it's tail to lunge out at him while he was dodging, the snake appendage seemingly having a mind of its own was close to biting him directly on his neck but Iida managed to twist his body out of the way enough that it was only able to get a glancing wound on his chest. A searing pain slowly started to spread from his chest towards the rest of his body. But he didn't let it stop him as he dodged another attack from the beast electric paw, jumping back and landing near Todoroki.

"Iida are you ok." Todoroki asked, seeing the wound on his chest.

"I'm….I'm fine, it's nothing." Iida said through a harsh breath.

Todoroki didn't believe him for a moment but let it be as the monster sent another hurricane wind towards them Todoroki countered with flashfire fist clashing with the monster again. Through the shadows of the trees, the bison had righted itself and came back through the woods charging straight for todoroki, Iida protected his friends charging at the bull and launching a kick at the creatures head, the bison locked it's horns down and the two collide in a burst of snow.

7 minutes

Koda was finishing helping jiro up as he spectated the others fighting, the bunnies were fighting the coyotes and wolves like creatures in the treeline. he couldn't really see the fighting in the trees but he the ice spikes had stopped firing on them from the trees so had to expect that they were the cause he hoped that they were ok, he wanted to shout again but combined with what he just did to jiro and the bunnies that would also be affected he didn't want to risk it, especially since the coyote creatures seemed unaffected.

"What happened to tokoyami?" koda asked jiro

"He…he ran off with some tiger after him" Jiro replied, shaking her head to clear it.

"Is it ok to leave him alone?" Koda questioned with worry.

"Don't worry, he needs to be in this darkness and away from the light he should be least for long enough for us to help him" Mina said confidently. Before shooting out some acid towards the battles happening between Iida and the bison striking the bison in the side burning the fur there and allowing Iida to kick it in the side of the head, disorienting it.

6 minutes

Tokoyami avoided another swipe from the tiger monster, as dark shadow surged forth, he had already activated his ragnarok form but despite that the tiger had an ability of its own it had grown to be incredibly large nearly 20 ft tall, even in his current ragnarok form the being was bigger and stronger than dark shadow knocking him away and redirecting his strike every time he would try to tackle the beast. The only highlight of this battle was the momentary lapse in the creatures movement which from koda's scream previously allowed dark shadow to score a wicked slash on the monster's right forearm, slowing it down somewhat but even with that tokoyami was having a tough time.

Tokoyami was mostly just a spectator in the battle mostly using dark shadow to fight the monster and block it's strikes every time dark shadow would be blown away or forcible moved out of the way so that the tiger could get at tokoyami he would dodge out of the way and attempt to reposition.

5 minutes

A resounding "CLANG" rang out around the mountains side, which distracted the tiger enough for dark shadow to get another slash in at the tigers right cheek , it growled and responded and leaped at the shadow creature before shrieking down avoiding the dark shadow entirely and aiming for tokoyami which was hiding behind a tree, it shattered the tree and completely struck out with a swipe that sent tokoyami flying backwards into some rocks where he slumped over unconscious, the tiger began to saunter over thinking the fight won before a massive black fist struck it's entire body sending it flying off into the forest. It quickly recovered only to find that the shadow creature grew to an even larger size, its eyes glowing red.

"Curiosity will kill this cat." the shadow remarked before letting out a guttural screech, the tiger roared as it grew back to its full size and charged at its new target.

4 minutes

Just as things seemed to go their way, another monster joined the field, it was a larger one of the wolf creatures. It had 3 snake-like appendages for a tail instead of one and had a unicorn spike on its head. The creature's entrance was a shocking one as out of its horn shot forth lighting directly towards mina, koda, and jiro. Mina attempted to throw up a large wall of acid but due to the chemical reaction it caused an explosion which sent the group scattering, the wolf shot out another blast directly at the group but luckily for them kirishima was there he was able to block the strike tanking it completely. Jiro and mina both recovered and started sending shots back at the new arrival with Kirishima as their shield from returning fire.

3 minutes

The cat monster stopped attacking todoroki and looked to the lodge before letting out a howl , the wolf creature let out a growl and snarl in return. The cat creature created a vortex around itself before slowly retreating back into the forest. The minotaur and bakugo were still fighting bakugo was still at a disadvantage he was currently trapped underneath a tree and the bull monster was slowly approaching him, it slowly reached around to grab it's sword and was about to swing it down on the trapped blonde's head before it heard the cats howl and stopped its slash, looked at bakugo and let out a snort of dismissal at the teen before sheathing its sword again and began to walk away leaving an angry and bewildered bakugo in his wake.

"What's happening?" Mina questioned as monsters seemed confused, some still fighting and others running away.

"What did it say?" Jiro asked koda.

"They….they are…afraid." koda replied

2 minutes

Just as Koda finishes saying that a gust of wind kicked up tons of snow all around them, in the next blink of an eye everything was quiet, all signs of fighting were over and the wind was the only thing that could be heard. As the group finally dug themselves out of the snow that suddenly buried them, what they witnessed completely baffled them, everything was dead, completely sliced apart in many pieces. The scene was so surreal as they looked over the landscape they could see the bull and wolf creature both dead and the man responsible standing right there with his white cape and gold hair billowing in the breeze, standing in front of Iida.

Iida was shocked for a moment before looking at the man before him, he still had a mixture of emotions when dealing with the man but since he was here, he knew that his friends were safe and that's all he really cared for and let out a smile as he fell forwards towards the hero. The hero had caught him and began to carry him back to the lodge. He was interrupted when the pink girl stepped in front of him.

"What are you going to do with him?" Mina asked, her face in disapproval.

"He's poisoned, he will die in the next 30 minutes if I don't act quickly." flash said simply walking passed the stunned girl, who turned to look at the man as he went back into the lodge with Iida.

"Tch , now he cares." Jiro said as she shook herself off.

"Guys, we should go check on Tokoyami." Koda said.

" You're right, we should. Guys, we're going to check on tokoyami you guys ok over there!" Mina said as she turned around and yelled towards the three boys down the hill. Kirishima had already ran off to check on bakugo and todoroki and held up a thumbs up as they were making their ways back up.

A sudden "thump!" seemed to resound around the area and seemingly shook the entire mountain, even more shocking was that the dark gray sky and blizzard seemingly vanished into a light snowfall and the clouds dispersed above them revealing the sun for the first time since they were on the mountain.

The tiger and the rampaging dark shadow we're in stalemate both creature fighting and clashing amongst the trees creating a personal clearing for the two behemoths, once the tiger monster was heard the howl of retreat from the cat monster it tried to get away but due to the damage it sustained from it's fight with this shadow creature it couldn't move as quickly as it wanted to and the shadow creature was relentless forcing him to fight it continuously …until a large rumble and the split of the clouds suddenly reduce the creature to nothingness. The tiger was surprised but took this time as a blessing it shrunk back to its normal size and began to limp over to the unconscious bird creature it was definitely going to kill this..thing for all the problems it caused him, but before it could do anything it heard a stirring in the bushes close by and smelled the scent of humans coming in his current state he couldn't fight someone else let alone someone that by the scent alone survived an encounter with the lord. So it backed off the bird-man on the ground and played dead on the floor, hoping that the humans would pick up their comrade and simply leave.

"So that shadow thing was really from that teen?" child emperor remarked as he continued walking.

" yup but it was much larger than when we used to train together." zombieman said as he puffed out some smoke from his cigarette.

"At least you got a useful one. Mine is such a softy.`` Bad replied, holding his bat behind his head.

"But where it'd go?" darkshine asked

"It's weak to light, so I'm guessing the sunshine above us shrink it down." zombieman replied

The group of five S-class heroes came into an artificial clearing surrounded by overturned and broken trees. The group spotted the down teen and all of them ran over to inspect the body. Four of them drew a sigh of relief as the boy was still breathing but just unconscious.

"Well it looks like we missed quite the party over here." zombieman said as the three of the teens came into the clearing from the side of the lodge.

"Oh my god!" mina said as she quickly got between the heroes and to her friend

"Is he ok?" jiro asked

"Yeah he's still breathing." child emperor remarked, waving his hands to calm them.

"What happened to you all?" darkshine asked

"There was a huge wave of monsters that came to attack us once we neared the lodge. I don't know what would have happened if it weren't for flash that saved us." koda replied

"What happened to my master?" genos questioned

"Oh! Yes …I nearly forgot, there was a second one a male that was even larger than one we found."

"What!?" the S-class heroes all yelled out in shock.

"Oh boy, that first one was enough of a hassle as is." zombieman remarked

"I…I don't know if your master …is…is." Koda began to mumble but he was sure the implication was given. Genos said nothing, only looked at the teen for a moment before raising his arm into the air and shooting an incineration blast into the sky. Surprising the rest of the hero's who were about to ask what the hell he was doing before Saitama seemingly appeared right beside him.

"Oh, thanks genos …I got lost a bit there." Saitama said, surprising Koda immensely.

"What happened to the monster?" child emperor questioned

"I killed it. I'm heading back to the lodge." Saitama said casually before moving on, genos following along after him. Leaving a stunned koda in his wake.

"Are you sure the monster was the same one we fought? If a b-class beat it by himself I'm doubtful." child emperor said.

" I…I'm fairly sure." Koda remarked.

"Yeah right I bet he was so scared of the one he did see and was just imagining things." bad said.

"Can you not be an asshole for just one moment? If he said he saw it then I believe him." jiro snapped back at him

"Yeah , me too." mina said

"We can talk about this later but first how about we finish off that possum over there." zombieman said, unholstering his weapon again. Making the tiger explode upwards in movement. Which seemed to surprise everyone but him.

"Your body twitched when you heard that the lord was dead, kinda gave you away." zombieman remarked coldly.

Zombieman was just about to pull the trigger when Koda stepped in the way, using his body to shield himself in front of the cat. Zombieman sucked his teeth and metal bat face palm.

"Give me a break, kid." zombieman remarked

"The fightings over, you killed the target.. No more blood needs to be shed." Koda replied. Zombieman just let out a sigh and holstered his pistol again. Metal bat began to approach Koda, taking his bat off his shoulder and dragging it on the ground. Jiro and Mina were about to intervene but were held back by child emperor's arm tentacles.

Koda spread his arms further apart as metal bat approached, not taking a single step back from the hero.

"That thing nearly killed your friend there, you know that right? And you still want to protect it?" metal bat said as he put his bat down in front of him between the two and leaned on it.

"You…you said I needed to either get a guard dog or something right? This is it." koda replied

"Nah, ugh ,mhhh. That cub in the lodge is one thing but this is another..you can't control monsters, what if that thing gets out of control, what would you do to stop it? And what makes you think that things gonna join you?" metal bat questioned.

"I'll handle it and if I can't you'll be there won't you? And if it's injured, it won't survive long out here." koda replied

"I'm not going to clean up after you kid." metal bat replied, picking up his bat and holding it back threateningly.

"Then I'll handle it myself." koda replied defiantly, metal bat looked at the teen and swung his bat forwards, koda simply closed his eyes and waited for the impact to come but none did.

As Koda opened his eyes he saw that the bat was hovering right in front of his face, before it poked him in the head.

"About time you showed some spine." metal bat remarked, Before pulling his bat back down and holding it in a non threatening manner.

"Alright, we can try it your way." metal bat said with a shrug.

Suddenly a white blur exploded from the trees directly at metal bat who dodged out of the way. Koda and the rest of the heroes were shocked to see that the creature that just attacked them was the bunny from earlier.

{Kill…me!}

the bunny kept repeating over and over again in such a pained voice, that tugged at koda's heart. metal bat showed tremendous restraint in just dodging the creature and not using his bat advising koda to tell it to calm down but despite his best efforts nothing koda said would work, mina managed to shoot out some acid to trapped the creature but it broke free completely freezing the substance before breaking it, it switched targets towards koda at that moment surprising everyone but as the large rabbit leaped into the air at him, the tiger moved before everyone growing large enough to swallow the creature whole before returning to its normal size.

"What the hell was that all about?" metal bat said looking at koda.

"They were so nice when they left and they even helped us fight….what gives?" mina asked

"What? Was it saying koda?" jiro asked the still stunned teen.

"It…it…was…saying…to…kill…me" Koda replied with a shaky voice, tears starting to flow from his eyes. The tiger seemingly started to comfort him, rubbing against his leg and purring. Child emperor let the two girls down and they instantly moved over to koda to comfort him. Child emperor picked up the fallen teen as the hero's looked at the sight.

"What are your thoughts on all this child emperor?" zombieman asked.

"I don't know what to think, I just want to sleep but as for the tiger it just protected him and isn't ripping him to shreds now so I guess we can trust it for now. The higher ups in the associations try to keep monsters as pets anyways so with all the special treatment these teens get I doubt they would refuse him if he asked to keep it or the cub." child emperor said.

"Well I guess that's that then." zombieman said as the group started to head towards the lodge again.

Once they finally got back into the lodge, everyone welcomed them back. Bakugo and Todoroki were hesitant of the tiger that joined them shortly afterwards. The cub rushed towards the group and jumped into Koda's arms.

{You came back..yeah!} the cub said, rubbing against Koda's chest.

{Oh, hey torax your here too?} the cub said gesturing to the tiger

{For now, where is your father?} Torax responded, earning a shake of the head from the cub.

{I see, these humans were really the dangerous bunch it appears.} torax replied

{this one's nice though.} the cub said, snuggling up to koda.

{He is …different, I owe my life to him after all.} torax replied

{he can also understand us, by the way.} the cub replied, shocking torax briefly.

{So your name's torax? My name's koda.} Koda said, earning a nod from the tiger.

{and my names akaiando} the cub jumped in

{hello to you to.} Koda said Deeping his hug.

The hero's set off to their rooms, leaving the teens behind as they stayed in the living room before they got tired of waiting and headed up to flash's room to check on Iida. to their surprise the door was unlocked and flash was nowhere to be seen but Iida looked much better than previously all of his injuries all seemed to have just disappeared. Still they were concerned as they had Kirishima room with him for the night as everyone else headed back to theirs. Even though it was the start of the morning. The pets remained downstairs under child emperor's orders.

"Where are you going?" the dub asked the tiger that was fiddling with the door.

"Leaving." the tiger replied simply

"Why?" the cub asked.

"I don't trust humans." the tiger replied

"Well can you trust the others?" the cube replied, which made the tiger pause, without the lord around life was going to get real interesting around the forest and fights for the title of lord will no doubt range free and in his current state, he would no doubt be absorbed by some upstart if he couldn't hide in time. He turned to the cub.

"Why do you trust these humans?" torax asked

"The nice one said that he will help me get revenge for my father." the cub replied.

"Where is he?" Torax asked.

"He's out back…the human did a ritual or something…said that's how they respect the dead and buried him." the cub replied.

"I'm sorry for your loss." torax replied.

"I'll …I'll get used to it." the cub murmured before laying down on the ground, the tiger took one last look outside before turning around and laying down next to the cub.

Fledglings: drive knight, shadow ring, momo, kaminari

Momo and shadow ring were out in R-city, they were still training but shadow ring suggested that it would be best to practice outside of the association's gyms, which would allow her to better apply her training in real world situations.

They patrolled more unorthodoxly than momo had originally thought they would be. Instead of walking through the streets like normal people, shadow ring forced her to move through the shadows essentially. Walking through alleyways, scaling buildings, moving over rooftops climbing back down and repeat, it was quite extraneous activity that required her to rely mostly on her physical ability and shadow ring would make sure of that as ay time she would try to use her creation powers to help her such as creating a hook or something to better help her scale, the girl would cut it.

There was some harrowing falls from time to time where she made a misstep or did not properly place her foot correctly but she was able to quickly recover by either using her creation quirk or shadow ring herself would save her from the fall, she was surprisingly stronger than her small build would indicate momo noted being able to effortlessly catch her completely without even budging from the force.

Shadow ring decided to just patrol normally for the remainder of the time, there were a couple of monster alarms in their patrol but nothing was over the threat level of tiger. Shadow ring spared none of the targets she engaged; she engaged mostly just killing them quickly and moving on, momo on the other hand attempted to restrain most which almost led her into being shot in the back if it wasn't for shadow ring defending her and killing the monster in the next instance.

The two began their trek back to drive knight storage area.

"You shouldn't let your compassion cloud your judgment. Fighting with the intent to capture will only hinder your ability with the blade." shadow ring'' said stoically as they approached.

"I know but I…don't know if killing is the best way to handle every situation." Momo replied

"Against criminals I can agree but against monsters as well? I would regard that as nothing but foolish."

"As I've been told. Well either way, thank you for training me, these last two weeks I won't let the lessons you've taught me be in vain." momo said with a bow.

"There is no need to thank me, I simply accomplished my duty as expected of me, as for additional practice on your own. I have already given you a routine for you to follow and placed it on the night stand in your room. Momo was still somewhat concerned/amazed by how shadow ring could enter and exit her room without her or anyone's knowledge but she just smiled and thanked the ninja again before she left.

Momo entered into drive knight's hideout and headed for the usual area he had set aside for them. There she found him and Kaminari practicing still on how he achieved that new transformed state from a couple of days ago and from the test it seemed they still had no luck in figuring it out as she looked at the brain-fired kaminari

"Any luck?" momo asked

"No it appears he still remains unresponsive even when the threat of his own life remains mostly incapable of accessing this new power you suggested he has." drive knight stated as he looked towards kaminari inside the exhibit. Momo showed signs of pause as drive knight made that statement curious what kind of exercises would facilitate putting kaminari's life on the line.

"Do you believe that this power was a one off or the heat of the moment type ability?" momo asked

"There is a possibility of that being the case but if what you told about these awakenings are true, then other students in your class have mastered these extra abilities as well so theoretically he should be no different." drive knight said.

"I suppose you're right about that but he's a little…. slower than the rest of us when figuring things out so it could take him some time."

"I suppose you are correct from that standpoint but perhaps he is just lacking the proper motivation." drive knight said. Momo took a hesitant step backwards as she didn't like where that line of thought led to, before she could speak again she was shocked as she was suddenly lifted up by the throat by drive knight.

" you doing." momo said through ragged breath as she clawed at the machine's arms.

"Simulating the conditions which allowed his powers to activate." drive knight said stoically as he began to bring the girl into the training arena directly in front of the still fired kaminari.

His eyes seemed to focus slightly more as momo thrashed in drive knights grip, drive knights left hand quickly shifted into a long blade before offering a countdown as he pointed threateningly at momo before. There was a noticeable almost imperceptible twitch coming off kaminari as drive knight drew the blade closer and closer and closer to momo's neck. As he got down to zero he withdrew the blade out again before diving it back towards momo's neck in an attempt to stab right through. As drive night expected kaminari barely noticeable movements became more streamline until he finally moved, drive knight had halted the blade just inches away from the girls neck and allowed the boy to take her from him as he carried her towards the other side of the room as far away from him as possible. He was shrouded with an electric aura causing his hair to slightly lift up.

" That's taking things too far, even for you." Kaminari said in a serious tone staring at the cyborg. Momo slightly coughed in his arms as he sat her down on the ground.

"It garnered the necessary results. she was not in any real danger, I just give you the illusion that she was. " drive night said simply.

"You could have asked me first." momo argued as she stood up. Looking angrily at the robot in question as well.

"Next time I shall. For now however If you can leave the room, I would like to experiment with this new power of his." drive knight said as he gestured to the door, momo was still mad that the cyborg had used her like that but she couldn't deny the result as she looked over at kaminari's glowing form.

"Don't worry I'll make sure to get him good for you." Kaminari said with a thumbs up.

"Make sure you do." Momo said with a smile as she walked out of the training area and observed from outside. The two commenced their sparring and despite Kamianri's power up he still couldn't land a single hit on the cyborg. The two zipped around the enclosure as drive knight began to record data of kaminari's new form after some time of sparring and kaminari failing to land even one solid blow on drive knight he decided to be cheeky and see if he could halt the cyborg in his tracks a different way, he began to feel the electricity from within the cyborg and started to draw it out. Drive knight was taken off guard by the act for a moment before the cyborg took serious offense and blitzed kaminari out right, striking the boy in the chest and draining the entirety of kaminari's energy as the blow sent him back flying backwards slamming into the wall.

"Did I fry a nerve?" Kaminari said in a clumsy voice as he went into his fried brain mode again, which drive knight figured was for the best as it would probably numb the pain he was currently feeling from the slam against the wall, he walked out of the arena and proceeded towards his computer.

"Well?" Momo asked as she moved beside him.

"Yes, it was just as you described, all of his physical abilities had improved considerably. For now I can only estimate a 15 times increase in ability." drive knight said

"That's fairly impressive." Momo remarked , looking back at the dazed kaminari.

"Indeed, but I found this more interesting." drive knight said as he tapped away on his computer again before bringing up two DNA files that were labeled as kaminari's.

"Other than your mutations or quirks affecting your bodies on a cellular level, there seems to be a sequence that is locked away within them and in this next image taken from more recently that sequence is now unlocked. I hypothesize that this sequence is what you all refer to as awakening." drive knight remarked.

"Do…do you think you can unlock that sequence?" Momo asked, baffled by the discovery.

"I am unsure at the time, I require more data before I could attempt such a task."

"I see that is understandable. Do I have this sequence?" momo asked

"Yes, going by your testaments of how this sequence was awakened in kaminari, I can only speculate that this is some type of variation of human monetarization, a similar transformation humans could take under extreme duress of emotional stimulus. Your mutations may have saved you all from becoming monsters." drive knight stated

"Ooo-oh, I see…that is very beneficial then. We also speculated that it was an emotional change but hadn't made the connection with monetarization it..would make some sense.`` Momo said with some unease, well since he doesn't know about their true origins it would make sense for him to phrase it like it was in their world, momo thought.

Drive knight stared at the girl as if pondering her response before seemingly losing interest.

"Either way if I am to work on finding a way to unlock this sequence for you artificially I will need more examples to see how it works." drive knight responded and momo caught his meaning he wanted blood samples from her friends as well…she didn't know if she could ask that of them but if it was to help them then maybe she could do it.

"I'll think about it and get back to you." Momo said, drive knight simply nodded and continued with his analysis of kaminari.

Look what I can do: Tatsumaki, uraraka, tank tops

Uraraka didn't really know what she expected when she told Tatsumaki of her new found powers; praise?, complement?, or at least passing intrigue but she received none of that all the small girl did once she told her was that at least she didn't have to use her power on her anymore the reason that stung at least somewhat more than usual was that she was almost 1 million percent sure from the power she seen the girl use so far that generating such a gravity field around her was child's play.

Her training didn't get any easier either now that she had a different ability tatsumaki was curious about the limits of such an ability holds, suffice to say there was a lot of work to do, the first things she help uraraka figure out how many G's she could put on an object on any given time. Her stopping point was exactly 100x times gravity leading tatsumaki to believe that her weight limit was linked to the effect as well as 100 tons was her current zero gravity limit as well. This leads to the prevailing theory that for every ton she can lift that's how much she can increase gravity by.

Tatsumaki immediately got her to work dealing with both effects simultaneously during their training she would have to carry around all 4 of her 20 tons black orbs while simultaneously under the effects of her own increased gravity tatsumaki demanded that she increased the ratio to times 4 at this point, making the task even more difficult. She dodged and ducked out of the way from tastsumaki's rocks while countering with her own. The two practiced for some time before, like usual, tatsumaki would take her out into the field.

She had just landed into the city, on some street corner and just like usual the girl would fly off but before she did she reminded uraraka that unlike previously she wasn't protecting her with her aura she would be officially on her own and the training wheels are off. Uraraka nodded in understanding and was a bit worried about her task now. But she was ready and prepared, she quickly released the gravity affecting herself before heading off towards the first monster closest to her judging by the commotion going on nearby. She was shocked and a little disturbed to see that crawling around the city was a bunch of oversized sized spiders, she was even more surprised when she saw shoji among the heroes' fighting holding a large spider at bay that was bearing down on him with both of its two large front legs, uraraka noticed that one spider was starting to crawl over a building looking to pounce on him, she rushed into action yelling his name as the spider pounced, she threw her orb at the jumping spider hitting the creature straight in the head crushing it inwards towards its body.

She launched another at the one Shoji was fighting, hitting it directly in the abdomen crushing it and making it fall over on its side dead.

"I hate spiders." uraraka remarked as she came over to check if shoji was ok.

"I'm glad that you do, thanks for the save by the way." Shoji said, pointing to the smashed spider behind him.

"Don't mention it. Huh now I have to get those things back don't I? ``Uraraka complained as she could already see the green spider blood dripping all over the orbs

"Allow me." Shoji said as he extended his dupil-arms and wiped off the orbs before carrying them back to Uraraka they were still somewhat dirty with the arachnids blood but at least she didn't have to dig through the creature to get them.

"Thanks, now what's going on?" Uraraka asked.

"I'm not completely certain but it seems like someone was conducting experiments on some spiders and those experiments caused rapid growth to occur." shoji explained

"As I can see, So did we get the person behind this?" uraraka asked

"Yes we managed to capture him and he revealed to us that he had experimented on a total of 8 spiders and 1 tarantula. We were tracking down the nest but got separated in an ambush." Shoji explained.

"You were with the others?" uraraka asked

"None of our friends but the tank tops. I guess this would be the first time you'll meet them." Shoji said as both of them continued moving forwards, eventually the two came upon tank girl. She was currently running away from 4 spiders coming at her all at once. Before rushing in, Uraraka came up with a plan to deal with them all at once. Shoji yelled at tank girl and gestured for her to follow him , she obliged and ran right up alongside him, the both of them made a turn into an alley with the spiders in hot pursuit. As the two made their way inside due to the size of the alley the spiders had to practically line up when attacking them. Uraraka enacted her plan just then using the black orbs stacked over top of the alley and releasing her quirk hold on each one dropping them down into the alley directly over the spider each was a successive hit tearing a gaping hole through each spider or crushing it's body under the weight.

"Thanks for the save their partner. How did you do that?" tank girl said as she let out a whoop and slapped the boy on the back.

"That wasn't me , it was a friend of mind." he pointed upwards towards uraraka who began to look down into the alley.

"Well thanks! I see that Shoji's friends are all so talented!" she yelled up towards the girl holding a thumbs up to her.

"That marks six of them down." shoji remarked

"7, I took out one of them but it must have called its buddies before it died." tank girl said.

"Well that just leaves one left." shoji said as a yell caught his attention from above, the minor yell came from uraraka as from behind her another spider emerged from behind jumping up to the roof and attempting to jump at her.

uraraka thought quickly jumping backwards and away from the creature and off the ledge into the alley she quickly touched herself with her quirk slowing her dissent. this allowed the spider to readjust and jump right at her again while in mid-air, uraraka did her best to twitch out of the way from the creatures legs and fangs before delivering multiple punches to the creatures as it passed the increased weight with every blow quickly caused the creature to fall faster and faster, the momentum which would have carried it across to the other roof made the creature slam head first into the wall uraraka was able to hit a total of 5 times before it got out of her range and the creature fell like a rock 20ft down towards the broken bodies of its compatriots it slammed down with a wet thud as the legs and large but ruptured on impact.

" And she's a strong, way to go girl." tank girl said as uraraka floated down to the ground in front of them.

"Thank you but it wasn't my strength that was impressive, it was my quirk." uraraka explained

"No fooling huh, so what can you do?" tank girl asked ,After explaining what her quirk does the group exited the alleyway and were confused on what to do next.

"Well that should only leave the tarantula right?" uraraka asked

"It should be if the lunatic was telling the truth that is." tank girl explained

"Where is tank philosopher?" shoji asked

"He should be taking care of the last one now, he said he found a trail and then ditched me the damn bastard." tank girl said, balling her fist.

"Well we should go check if he is alright, maybe retrace your steps and see where he went." uraraka suggested, but before anyone could reply a wrapped up tank philosopher landed right in front of the group, seeing the mystical green aura uraraka looked up to see tatsumaki there staring down at her.

"Thank you again seemed I bit off more than I could chew." tank philosopher said with a cheeky smile before he got slapped upside the head by tank girl.

"Serves you right." tank girl said while crossing her arms.

"I'm sorry but you offered great bait to lure the others off and I knew someone of your skill would be alright." tank philosopher replied

"You knew there were multiple of those things there!" tank girl yelled back agitated

"Did I say that." he replied with a small chuckle

"Well you can get out of that cocoon on your own then." tank girl replied.

"Come on now, everything has ended well, shoji be a pal and help me will you?" he asked but before Shoji could say anything, Tank girl shook her head.

"Nuh-ugh, you went in alone you should be able to get out on your own, I'm sure "someone of your skill "should be able to accomplish that." tank girl remarked earning a chuckle from uraraka.

"We're leaving, floaty." tatsumaki said as she lifted uraraka into the air. The brown headed girl waved goodbye to Shoji as she flew off.

"I see that you didn't keep your increased gravity on while their and for that your going to be punished." tatsumaki said as she spent around to face uraraka, who looked dumbfounded by the remark and only held her head in worry of what the girl is going to put her through now.

Practice makes perfect: sweet mask, king, aoyama , mineta

Mineta and king were proceeding towards the studio that would hold the interview later on in the week, even when the two was just walking down the street mineta could see the notable shivers running through king's body as the two began to get closer and closer, he was still amazed that someone so strong could be this afraid of the public he guessed that no matter how strong you were, there would be some flaw that someone could exploit to get to you. Mineta slightly chuckled at the thought of king fighting some monster and to get away the monster pants him in front of everyone so it could run away.

The two came into the studio and were immediately greeted by the receptionist. A blonde woman, king , had taken off his disguise as he entered the building, already drawing attention from everyone in the lobby. Mineta noticed how king tried to ignore the stares he received as the two made their way over to the desk. The receptionist had just gotten off the phone and informed the duo that sweet mask will be down shortly to speak with them. And after not even five minutes later sweet masked arrived in the lobby but what really surprised mineta was aoyama he had gotten a complete redesign of his initial gray armor was now a dark violet purple the plates themselves were more spaced out amongst his body allowing for complete bodily circulation, his shoulder pauldrons seemed more angular as well containing to more emitters aimed at his back, his hand armor also saw a change that seemed to include four emitters on each knuckle highlighted by the blue circular hue. The yellow highlight that permeated his armor before was completely gone and his sparkly purple cape was replaced by a simple black one that upon closer inspection held small white light on it like stars in space.. Mineta marvels at his friend's new look.

"Woah, you look cool." mineta said as he 360 around his friend

"Really? I…kinda wish it stood out more but amai mask disagreed.`` Aoyama replied somewhat discouraged.

"Well…at least you got to keep your cape." Mineta said.

"I …guess so." aoyama said

"So this is the true form of miscreant that caused me so much trouble before, gosh that costume is still as hideous as when you were a female" the two heard from behind him, coming from sweet mask.

"Hey, what do you mean by that? This costume is pristine." Mineta defended.

"It looks incredibly tacky and clashes horrendously. I understand that you were going for a theme with your whole grape esthetic but that is simply not it." sweet mask said dismissively. Mineta was going to retort but Aoyama stopped him.

"Anyways we can solve that problem later, me and king will rehearse the questions for the interview, you two will go and rehearse your performance." sweet mask left no room for debate as he left with king soon after. Mineta could see how nervous king was as sweet mask basically dragged him along and wondered if he would be ok with that guy alone.

The two boy's left for their training arena this time it wasn't just a prop setup of the studio but the studio itself none of the multiple cameras were present that they suspected would have been there for the interview but that didn't matter for them.

"Oh before we begin I need to show you something." Aoyama states before opening both palms of his hands showing in both shining red orbs embedded in his palms.

"Woah what are those?" mineta asked

"These are absorption pads that allow me to absorb my own energy or any energy for that matter. Let me show you the mirrors over there in the desk.'' Aoyama said as he pointed at a dresser some way away, he obliged and ran over and got the hand held mirrors out and ready them in front of the blonde hero. Aoyama shot out his naval laser and struck the mirror having it redirect right back at him he stuck out his palm and just as he described was absorbed after doing that couple of times mineta started to notice that blue lines started to galvanize aoyama under suit with lines spreading throughout his legs and arms at least from he could see.

"So you still give off a shine after all." Mineta remarked, impressed by his friend's upgrades.

"Yup and that's not all, watch this." Aoyama then balled his fist and raised them, he concentrated for a moment and then 8 small blue blades emerged from each emitter.

"Woah you're like, Wolverine now." Mineta said in wonder as he viewed the boy's claws.

"That's what I thought to, sweet mask wanted me to be able to produce them from all over my body so I can do that now speaking of sweet mask he wanted us to finish our routine with me absorbing all the laser into my gauntlet so we have to angle it in a way for me to do that." Aoyama said as he retracted his claws.

"I think I have an idea on what we can do." mineta said after thinking for a moment

How far are you: Bang's group, Charanko, Toru

The day progressed as normal, the group doing their multi-kilometer laps around bang's dojo, as per usual bang and midoriya would finish and leave to patrol and the other two students would still continue along as per normal. Charanko seemed even more motivated than usual, not even voicing a slight complaint as they finished their run and headed up the stairs and began their exercise, he must have still been high on his victory from a couple of days ago. Ojiro noted that he would always get this confidence boost after each victory he gained and it would often get to his head.

"Alright time for some sparring lets go." charanko said getting into his fighting position in the arena, ojiro chuckled slightly he even initiated the spar this time he was extremely in a good mood now.

"Ugh…not today, we can just go to the meditations portion of the exercises." ojiro replied this got his fellow apprentices attention.

"Oh? The little goody two shoes actually slacking off for once? Or is it that you're just scared to fight me now!" he said with boisterous energy, ojiro let out a drawn out laugh.

"In your dreams…..but I…want to save my energy for later on." ojiro replied, looking down at his hands.

"For later? what is up?" charanko said as he sat down next to his fellow disciple.

"There is no problem persay, I just want to find something out for myself." ojiro explained

"I….see well , wish you luck in your endeavor, whatever it is. I never got this meditation stuff myself, I mostly use it as a time to catch some zzz.`` Charanko said, nudging ojiro with his elbow in jest, ojiro offered a snicker in response but he got what he meant.

"Hey, how long have you been training under bang?" ojiro asked as the two sat in meditation.

"Ugh…I think around 2 years now. Why?" charanko asked

"Has any student ever gotten around to bang's strength level?" ojiro asked

"Ummm….not quite, the closets definitely had to be garou but even he fell quite short of bang." charanko remarked.

"And how long did Garou train under master bang?"

"Well, he was here somewhat before me, I believe he trained under bang for at least 4 years. Before he kinda just flipped out one day." charanko said in thought.

" four years huh?" ojiro said before making a heavy sigh.

The two finished up their exercises and waited for the other two to come in, they didn't take long eventually arriving along their usual time frame.

Ojiro said nothing as followed along bang's teaching as the days went by, today was mostly structure around strikes using the hands, bang had stacked a long list of tiles on top of a black metal plate and just like in those classic martial arts movies he asked each of us to strike it with a karate chop and see which how many they could break at a given time. Surprising bang the first up was charanko as confident as he was he stepped up first and slammed his hand down onto the tiles he managed to destroy a good five of them before stopping it, he managed to take out a quarter of them in the stack. Bang was thoroughly surprised by charanko's accomplishment, stating that it was the most he's ever broken on a single strike.

Ojiro decided to go next; he approached the newly made stack of tiles that bang had arranged. He took a deep breath before slamming down with his right hand , the tiles steadily cracked and broken before tampering out around the 8 tile mark, charanko let out a sound of annoyance behind him and ojiro merely smirked in his direction before moving out of the way so midoriya could get a turn, unlike the two students previously bang had stacked double the amount of plates than previously and asked midoriya to power up to his 100% mode, midoriya did as instructed and was about to chop before bang halted him again, he instructed midoriya to strike the plates but he wanted midoriya to try his hardest not to break them, but still strike as if he was trying to break them.

which to everyone involved thought sounded fairly hypocritical of a statement. The lesson that he wanted midoriya to learn was to properly manage his full strength while midoriya initially found the exercise pointless as that was the main reason he created the percentage system but bang explained that not only that it would be better for his body to grow more accustomed to his 100% power, it would also allow him greater ability in fighting as he wouldn't need to worry about what percentage he was on when taking on an opponent or being ambushed at a weaker percentage and taking more damage than necessary or worst. Midoriya understood and he could see bangs reasoning he essentially forgot how to pull his punches in favor of the percent system and looking at bang himself who could fight him and full power while also in the next moment fight ojiro just as easily he could see how it could be beneficial to learn. Midoriya struck the target fast but as light as possible he still ended up breaking 38 of the 40 tiles but you always had to start somewhere, midoriya thought.

The rest of the time spent was on the tile exercises and after everything seemed to be dying down like a traditional day , ojiro finally decided to speak.

"Master bang, I would like to challenge Midoriya to a fight and would like for you to proctor the battle." ojiro said sincerely, surprising both students.

"Hmm? What brought this on, young ojiro." bang asked

"Yeah, seems kinda out of nowhere." midoriya added

"I want to see the golf between me and midoriya." ojiro said sincerely, looking at midoriya.

"Well if he agrees, then I see no issue in your request, you all do have some time to waste before picking up your friend after all." bang said as he sat down near the front of the arena. Midoriya hesitated for a moment as he locked eyes on Ojiro, before giving a firm nod. The two approached the arena.

"Alright this is a real fight not a spar ok? I want you to use the highest percentage you can to make this an even and fair fight alright." ojiro said, stretching for a moment before bringing his hands down into his combat stance. Midoriya nodded his head in understanding before charging up his full cowling, he noted that anytime they spared in the past month that 15% was a bit too much for him and had been progressively lowering it ever since he was currently going at about 12% full cowling.

Seeing that the two were ready bang announced the start of the match. Midoriya dashed towards ojiro, his speed taking the blonde boy off guard for a moment but he was still able to effectively block his forwards punch with his tail, the impact forcing him back somewhat still. Ojiro countered the punch with a kick to midoriya's chest the attacked landed squarely but it barely budged him even midoriya thought the attack was a little too light to facilitate it as being a fair match and lowered his percentage down to 10% and performed a sweep kick to take ojiro off his feet. Ojiro instead used his tail to grab the kick, stopping it cold before picking midoriya up by the leg and attempting to slam him down towards the ground. Midoriya caught himself before he hit the ground with both his hands but this left his body exposed. Ojiro took the opportunity to kick midoriya right in the stomach and this time the strike noticeably affected the boy sending him sprawling as he released his grip on his legs midoriya. but midoriya noticed the slip and force his leg down on top of ojiro's head at the same time as ojiro leg reached his gut. Both fighters came back at each other, ojiro would dodge and parry a lot of midoriya's strikes before returning with some of his own.

Ojiro held a slight advantage in close quarters combat his attacks landing more time than now, that was until midoriya started to utilize his black whip for tendrils sprung from the boy's back before launching each at ojiro he was able to avoid one but was forced to block the three others, midoriya dashed in at that moment before attempting a St. Louis Smash ojiro was going to use his tail to block the strike but there was something halting it, it had to be the black whip he had to guess as midoriya's kick made its way to his face, sending him spiraling through the air he recovered quickly lading on his feet as midoriya continued at him, sending out the four tendrils again, ojiro thought better of it this time circling his tail around himself before rapidly spinning it off in it's swamp smack spin attack which from the wind pressure sent all the tendrils off course and knocking midoriya off balance, ojiro saw his opportunity to strike launching off his tail directly at midoriya, going for a tail strike aimed at the back of his head, despite being off balance midoriya still managed to counter that attack catching his tail with both his hands before summoning his black whip to wrap around the appendage, ojiro tried to shake him off and managed to strike midoriya in the face with a roundhouse kick that took him off his feet but he didn't let go.

He threw the black whip forwards before picking it up and slamming him back down on the mat before dragging him back towards him. Ojiro couldn't help but be pulled by his tail but he managed to turn back around just in time to punch midoriya one more time in the face, but he adversely opened himself up for midoriya's counter attack which was a Detroit smash directly to his stomach which he directed to slam him down into the ground. By the time ojiro opened his eyes, midoriya was standing over him, his whole body wrapped up by the black whip.

Bang signaled the match's conclusion, midoriya had won the fight. Ojiro expected that Midoriya's quirk was incredibly versatile in so many ways which left him a lot of options when it came to fighting that he strictly just couldn't compete with. but there was something he did want to know.

"What percentage did you go up to?" ojiro asked.

"well…umm…10%" Midoriya said slightly shyly. Ojiro let out a lightly demoralized chuckle.

"Just 10% huh? And I'm going to assume that it's not a linear type of increase but exponential right?" ojiro said, with another chuckle, midoriya nodded

"You shouldn't let that discourage you young ojiro." bang said

"Discouraged? No, I just found out where I am, and now I can plan to move forward. That reminds me bang is there a way I can get plans, sheets or something so I could practice on my own. " Ojiro said as he grabbed the arm that midoriya held to help him stand, he momentarily held his stomach still feeling the effects of midoriya's attack but slowly got to his feet. Bang nodded and went to a safe in the back of his dojo and produced a scroll? It held the principles and skills of the rock smashing fist , ojiro quickly took out his phone and took pictures of the scroll before heading out.

After a few more moments the group began to go their separate ways midoriya and ojiro made their way over to bomb's dojo and made it just their just as toru and was finishing up her night classes, she was accompanied by someone else as well, that the two boys didn't know.

"Hey guys, let me introduce you to tiffany. She's a friend I made here." Toru said.

"Oh you never told me two hunk are coming to pick you up" Tiffany remarked flirtatiously.

"The green one is midoriya and he has a girlfriend so you might as well drop it. The one with blonde hair is named Ojiro, ``Toru said with a roll of her eyes.

"aww , that's sad to hear, what about you?" Tiffany asked ojiro.

"Ugh , ugh …..I . don't but …I…I'm not really looking." ojiro said with a slight blush on his face looking between toru and tiffany.

"Oh, really? There goes my chances as well I guess." toru said in mock hurt

"No, I didn't mean ..ugh.. You're just playing with me again." ojiro remarked, earring a laugh from toru.

"Oh I get it now. Good luck with this one tiger, she's a lot of trouble." tiffany said, slamming a fist into her hand

"No kidding." ojiro remarked

"Hey! I'm not trouble, right midoriya." toru shouted

" well…by yourself you are fine but... you tend to get more rambunctious when with your friends." midoriya said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Ha! I told you, anyways she told me you guys are learning under bang right? I guess that means you guys are our rivals." tiffany explained

"Exactly, although I already beat ojiro here, I don't think anyone in our class could beat midoriya, though." toru said

"No foolin 'he's really that good?" tiffany asked

"I'll say." ojiro replied

"It' s nothing in terms of skill exactly, I'm sure you all are pretty more skilled than me." midoriya mumbled

"And he's humble now isn't he just the complete package." Tiffany said with a laugh. The group continued to talk for some time before Tiffany took her leave and the 1A teens left back towards the hero association.

Deliberations: Class 1A

The common room was way emptier than usual as everyone made their way inside.

"Any word from sero or Iida?" sato asked as he entered inside.

"Sero said that the ship was delayed slightly and he will be back sometime in the evening tomorrow." Kaminari replied.

" We haven't really heard from Iida yet." Momo replied.

" Jiro and Mina had tried to text to see if he arrived here earlier, apparently they found his teacher but he was not with him." Sato remarked, gaining the group's attention.

"Have you tried calling him?" midoriya asked

"I have, even text to but they are unread. I think his phones out of power.`` Sato said with a hint of worry.

" Hey, hey. I'm sure he's alright, the guy wouldn't just abandon him. Right?" kaminari said

"I don't know after the stunt demon cyborg pulled, I can't tell what the S-class would do, darkshine and pig god seem alright and they seemed to stick up for the guy but i don't know." Sato remarked.

"I'm sure, Iida's ok. Even with how ruthless my teacher is, she still goes out of her way to protect me." Uraraka replied.

" It's hard to judge him as we haven't interacted with the guy to form our own opinion." Shoji piped in.

Before anyone else could say anything else a message from in the group chat had solved their missing persons case, Mina had messaged the class that they found Iida but he was hurt and unconscious but in a stable condition. Earning gasps from everyone involved, they all went through a hail of messages and text to try and explain what's happening over there, midoriya was almost ready to head over there himself until they assured that they were fine and that the danger had passed.

The group had a mixture of emotions on the things they read but they were just happy that their friend was safe and sound. After catching up some more on the day's events everyone started to file out to their rooms. Ojiro and Toru skipped over the hallway to their rooms and headed towards the training arena's

"Oooh look at you two heading off alone together." The two heard the voice of none other than Kaminari behind them, making them freeze.

" We're just going to get some extra training done." ojiro replied with a bashful face.

"Oh sure you're showing her some forms eh? Hoping to get her loose?" Kaminari replied with a suggestive movement of his eyebrows. Before ojiro could sputter out a response. Toru had his back first.

"I know it must be hard for you to sleep since Jiro's gone." Toru came out and said, making Kaminari lose his smug grin which was replaced by a worried smile.

"I…I don't know what you're talking about." kaminari said offhandedly

"I'm sure you do, she needs to kiss the little baby goodnight doesn't she?" Toru said in a baby voice making kaminari sputter for a moment, starting and stopping sentences before composing himself to speak again.

"Just ….don't tell anyone about that." kaminari said as he stalked off to the rooms.

"What was that about?" ojiro asked

"Oh, nothing , just another pairing in mid bloom you could say." toru replied

The two continued their walk to their training arena from the last few nights and began their practice. Ojiro had the pictures of bang's scrolls to go off allowing him to practice the forms and techniques easier, Toru remarked that she should do the same things as well. The two practice together doing basic physical exercises as well as routinely sparring amongst each other ojiro would win most of the time but toru would sometimes surprise him occasionally with an unorthodox maneuver or just plain cheating and using her quirk like before in bang's dojo. The two were taking a slight rest from their training when the group chat rang out again, it was from Mina saying that Iida had miraculously awakened due to a long list of circumstances that she will tell them about tomorrow when they get back.

"Wow another awakening eh?" I wondered what Iida's look like

"Probably an extra pair of mufflers or maybe larger ones?" ojiro suggested

"Wouldn't it be funny if it was something completely unrelated to his quirk like improved vision or something." Toru jested, earning a laugh from the teen.

"I can't imagine Iida without glasses very often, it would seem weird." ojiro replied

"I know right!" Both teens chuckled for a moment before toru noticed the slightly downtrodden expression on ojiro's face.

"What's wrong?" Toru asked, and Ojiro just leaned back and let out a sigh.

"I fought midoriya today, he only needed 10% of his power to beat me, it really puts things in perspective. His quirk is really amazing but I shouldn't be surprised it's related to all mights right? Why wouldn't it be? " ojiro remarked glumly.

" I…..I think that you're pretty amazing yourself you know."

"Not really, as everyone says my tail quirk is pretty or-"

"That's not what I meant, your amazing as in you not your quirk, when I first saw you in our class yeah I thought your quirk wasn't special like the others but you still managed to make it into 1A with just that through your own hard work and dedication it inspired me to be better, that's why I wanted you to keep going in the sports festival because if you gave up where would that leave me? I'm just an invisible girl that can shine a light, I didn't know martial arts or anything to actually defend myself when I first came into UA. I was just lucky that examination bots had an off switch for me to exploit. Without that I don't even think I'd be here right now. So I need you to keep your head up not just for yourself but for me to.`` Toru said, offering the boy a kind and warm smile that tugged at his heart.

"I….I don't really know what to say to that but thank you and I always thought you were pretty amazing too." ojiro

"You're just saying that to flatter me." Toru said, turning her gaze away from the boy. He touched her thigh, getting her attention again.

"Not true, Your quirk is really cool and I think you have an awesome personality. Sure you lacked some creativity in the past but you're learning quickly now and you're picking up martial arts as well. Despite the reasons behind it you still made it into class 1A as well and that was before all your learning. Now I'm sure after this is all over you will be even better, probably way better than me." ojiro said earnestly. He realized he still had a hand on her thigh and removed it slightly blushing, he was going to say sorry but before he could, however he received a big hug from the girl for a solid minute or two before she pulled back.

"Thank you, now let's get back to training huh? I do need to surpass you after all, without my quirk that is." she said in jest quickly moving away and getting into her stance

"sure you're on." ojiro responded in kind with a happy smile, the two continued to train for another 1 hour before calling it for the day. The two returned home and toru gave ojiro one last hug before they went their separate ways into their own rooms to sleep off the day's events like the rest of their class.

We've been having a lot of detours in this story so far so now it's time to finally get back into to cannon, the hunter make his grand reveal next chapter stay tuned! on September 1st
