Alright, The last chapter of the month! and what better way to end it than with a very LARGE one at that this chapter coming in at 32k words! (funnily enough this is still smaller than the good path version of this event which came out to 35k, more characters equal more dialogue essentially)

A Familiar Face: Drive Knight, Momo,?
Momo and drive knight had been constantly experimenting with her new ability and pushing it to the limit, he believed that where he initially thought her quirk was powerful before her enhance version was frankly world-shattering given the implications it could have and it was for the reason he was also greatly more hesitant around her with his technology and while he couldn't make her forget about it even if he wished he could he had forbidden her from summoning his technology again. Momo and drive knight found out a lot about Momo's new conjure ability the limit of the things she could conjure was similar in effect to how much she could create the limiting factor had more to do with h mind than her body in this respect her mind would take on strain for every object she created and the more objects she creates the heavier the strain induced upon herself and the easier it was for her to lose concentration and dissipate everything that she had conjured, her limit was just about the same as her creation limit which was nearing 100 tons of material at this point but the two were still somewhat linked the more fatigued she physically was the less she could conjure with her mind and the more her mind was strained by conjure the less she could create with creation along with the complexity she would be able to make either, the only other weakness that she has well had was the side effect from her artificial awakening which made her forget anything that she conjured for an entire hour.
eventually, this led to her current predicament, she had taken sero's suggestion somewhat to heart, she was technically able to create robots with her ability and that meant that she could technically make an entire robot army at her disposal which would allow her to not only do more but take less risk while in conflict so to that end her and drive knight got to work reprogramming and reconfiguring out ideas of the robots that he school uses, drive knight never commented where the robots she had crafted came from but he did regard most of them as fairly weak and not much of help against most monster threats above a wolf and that was what Momo wanted help with increasing their combat ability as best he could offer her or at least the most that he would allow her, drive knight was surprised that she was taking the initiative and that this was brought on by the monster association strike. which he was mostly correct about, she didn't know when the climatic battle between the two organizations would commence so she didn't know if she would be there for them or not but if she couldn't she could at least provide them some help in the form of robots if she wasn't going to be.
so for most of the week following the invasion that was all she and drive knight had been working on along with her gun training. while he could make the robots stronger being able to take on at least some smaller tiger-level threats, demons and higher was somewhat of a struggle and it was then the Momo had memorized a robotic enemy that she had found in the VGS machine that Bakugo and Todoroki faced but when she had first went to conjure drive knight nearly yelled for her to stop it was such a startle given that the machine had rarely if ever raised his voice above a normal toe showing how serious he was, he wanted to no more about this robot called G4 and what it's objective was and after discussing with Bakugo and Todoroki they pointed her along to king who explained that the robot wanted combat data of some kind from him with that investigation out of the way drive knight had taken her far away from where they usually worked at and operated towards U-city near the plains, there was nothing but grass for miles along with the odd rocky outcroppings dotting the landscape it was here that drive knight had set up a different sub-base and it was here they would experiment with summoning the robot, drive knight speculated that the robot likely had some form of trackign device or gps on top of having her conjure it would restatr the machine to it's orgional programming which would make it their enemy so it would likly attack them but that wasnt his true intentions with dragging them out here,s he coudl easily conjure them machien with no power which woudl make any traking harware rather moot but what he wanted was infromation he tried to figure out why this person wanted king's combat data and what they planned ot do with it.
So after Momo had conjured the machine and laid it out drive knight had given her and tech blanket this would hide her from mostly all tech scanners such as thermal, inferred, heartbeat detection, sight, sound, smell, and many other visual detection services the only thing it couldn't hide was a movement so he expressed heavily that she did not move once she was in a position once he turned the machine on and she nodded before moving 100 yards away and viewing the sight through a scope. drive knight wanted to lure the person out or at least some other machine than the G4 robot so he also included numerous signal jamming devices around the robot which would hopefully dampen it enough so that the creator couldn't directly talk through the machine. drive knight turned the machine on and then immediately damaged it slicing a strong line across the large robots chess which crippled it and stopped it from retaliating against him but leaving it alive enough to send a signal to whoever was commanding it and they waited for...it took some time but 40 minutes later she could hear movement coming from behind her she despite the blanket she was still rather nervous as the crunching of gravel continued to get closer and closer until she saw it a mechanical foot stomped by in front of her and proceed to do so she didn't release the breath she was holding until she could make out its full shape and she instantly recognized the robot it was the same one from that night before.
She had a meddlesome thought about how that G4 robot was familiar to her somehow and now that she thought back to that troubling night she did remember the man stating that the machine was a part of the "G-series" so with that robot being named G4 it all fit together and now things were going to be incredibly complicated, would it believe that she set this trap up for it? And what would the person do to her or her friends? Midoriya, Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Bakugo could maybe handle themselves but the rest of them would likely be hard-pressed to fight a demon-level monster of any kind especially since their guardians weren't always there to protect them either so they could be in danger if a misunderstanding arose but she was hesitant not wanting to create a misunderstanding with drive knight as well so for the moment she opted to just stay down and wait and see what happens.
"I'm surprised, I would have believed that it would have been genos given that he was the one reported for defeating G4." the robot claimed staying a semi-respectable distance away from drive knight.
"Indeed he was." drive knight replied simply.
"You were able to scavage the remains and rebuild it?" the robot voice remarked in question.
"Indeed." drive night again replied simply. he was keeping his responses short ad precise not trying to give his enemy any unscary information.
"but this was going far beyond just rebuilding this is a replica wouldn't you agree? given the destruction reports I received doing something like this would be nearly impossible...unless you know about how it was manufactured.." the robot accused and to that drive, knight remained silent.
"However there is another solution, however, neith the creation goddess, this may be in her power she can create anything, and with your technical expertise, you could recreate the machine. Nieth, come out I know that you're back there 50 yards away coordinates 2-3-34-79" the robot spoke out again and this did get a notable reaction from drive knight the cyborg looking past the robot at the exact spot indicated, and noticed as neith was complying with its order rather to obediently for his liking while it was correct it could have just been a bluff she could have called, instead of simply complying instantly drive knight thought for a moment as the girl made her way over to the both of them.
"You were able to see through my countermeasures. impressive." drive knight commented.
"I had some help in that regard." the robot replied simply and both robots turned their gaze towards the girl, she shrunk at the twin single red-eye glare that both machines gave her.
"You two are acquaintances? " drive knight asked
"In a manner of speaking you could say, we have met previously and I decided to keep tabs on her." the machine replied and Momo looked towards it with surprise evident on her face, when did it manage to do that? And where? Although she didn't ask those questions opting to wait until she was directly asked something by either machine.
"So you re-created G4 why? To draw me out?" the robot asked but not to drive knight but neith instead.
"No, no nothing like that, I just wanted some stronger creations for the upcoming conflict and I remember seeing this machine so I wanted to see if I could recreate it with drive knight's help. I didn't know that you would be connected to it, I didn't see the connections sorry for my invasiveness." Momo apologized severely with a bow of her head, the robot seemingly analyzed for a long moment before turning its attention back to drive knight.
"Who is your creator and why were you created?" drive knight asked bluntly.
"I was created to assist in my creator's goals the identity of which is classified." the robot remarked
"And what are these goals? Does it involve assisting the monster association?" drive knight asked and for a moment Momo was confused, the robot's eyes shifted to her for a single moment before it answered.
"If your speaking on the odd chemical readings you are receiving from this unit then you would be incorrect, while I have been with the monster association my creator's goals do not align with theirs." the robot remarked earning drive knights interest.
"So your master is using the monster association as a stop-gap for its goals?" drive knight remarked and the robot nodded.
"Before I tell you the reason why? I must first ask, how strong is your loyalty to the hero association?" the robot asked suddenly, and drive knight tilted his head to the side for a moment an odd humane gesture for the cyborg Momo noticed in comparison to how the machine stayed stalk still as it spoke with its body not moving at all from its original position in any capacity.
"Loyalty? I guess you could say that on that standpoint its rather low, I work on my own my cooperation with the association is rather just convenient for me." drive knight stated and there was another pause, Momo was completely baffled by such a response but she guessed it was parred for the course drive knight didn't seem like the type to like other very much.
"If my creator was to offer you a chance of switching to a different organization would you do so?" the robot asked, drive knight, took a moment to consider the request before responding.
"Unless your creator could offer some benefit to get my attention then I would find no reason to," drive knight confirmed.
"I see, he will keep that in mind, so are we finished with this? I will be returning now." the robot remarked.
"Your return to the monster association? But what about our deal?" Momo questioned and the robot turned to look at her.
"We have not forgotten, however, there exists something interesting inside of the base that I want to collect for my research, but I will need to gain their trust so that it could allow me access, fear, not this won't concern civilians but moves are already being made so that it shall happen after I collect what I want I will leave with my forces." the robot remarked towards her.
"What is it that you deem so valuable?" drive knight questioned.
"Information, of course. Metal knight drone had been taken by the monsters and I wish to procure some of its data, they hope to create machinations of their from the data while I seek to upgrade my own." the robot stated.
"You know where this drone is located?" drive knight asked and Momo had to step back as the robot beamed out of its singular eye a hologram of presumably the monster associations base and on it was a glowing green dot that likely signified its location, drive knight held out a hand and the robot clasped it, Momo didn't know exactly what it was supposed to signify but she assumed that they were sharing said information between each other, they unclasped hands and the robot began to walk away but Momo stopped it again.
"Do you know of a garou and if he's ok?" Momo asked the machine and there was a pause the red eye stared into her as it considered her question.
"Yes the hero hunter named garou is alive, I don't know where he is located but he is in stable condition gyoro-gyoro wants something from him from what I gathered. Although elder centipede wants him dead." the machine remarked and Momo scrunched her face in confusion.
"But …elder centipede was dead? My friends watched him die." Momo stated factually.
"One of the monster cadres has come upon a powerful ability to resurrect the dead, he was able to partially resurrect the monster but In a dramatically reduced state, although its capabilities are still that of at least an upper demon level threat." the machine replied but before Momo could say anything it was drive knight that spoke up next and despite his machine voice his tone displayed an unusual amount of urgency.
"What was the name of this monster?" drive knight asked
"It calls itself Phoenix-man it was initially based on a child TV show but has since evolved. The data that I gave you has at least one encounter I visually scene from him against the monster king" the machine said drive knight nodded at that and the machine proceeded away.
"Oh, and feel free to do with the G4 unit what you will." the robot remarked as it marched away and back to the monster association.
Once the machine was out of sight, it left only Momo and drive knight there alone in the planes, obviously, the girl had a lot to discuss with the cyborg and how they first met but also she had news to tell the class although part of her was hesitant to do so, she didn't want Tokoyami to feel at fault for that creature powers more than he already did but at least she had a new strong robot she could use in combat and there seemed to be at least no danger of whoever was behind the robots thinking that she had betrayed them so their friends were safe from them and she could confirm garou being kept alive by the monsters, her deal with this mysterious third party seemed to be paying off at least for now.
Queen takes King: Koda,?
Koda had never felt so conflicted with himself as he did during the past couple of weeks ever since the monster invasion, Torax death, and Aki leaving him to join the essentially genocidal monster association he couldn't really sympathize with monsters anymore he at first believed that they were similar enough to heteromorphs or just basic animals but their actions during the invasion were inexcusable and the breakout of the prision which led to even more death proved to them that monsters weren't privy to change at all, even when he was nice to the monsters he met and made accommodations to appeal to them it seemed like it just didn't matter and due to their well….some would say ignorance more people died during the conflict that would have otherwise…. well that was what sero would constantly say when people would question his rather brutal switch on how he dealt with monsters he would often come back home smelling of blood or in the rare event slightly splashed with it but not just him others were similar as well mostly being Bakugo he didn't have much care for monsters either, along with Tokoyami and Shoji while they wouldn't result to killing first and forhand they had nocalms with killing monsters if they needed to but this was just what they said in pratice Tokoyami was more than willing to use lethal force rather quickly if he was annoyed enough by the monster he was facing.
In terms of their small posse of people, he would call his group or the tokosquad as their group chat was called now only he and ojiro were still hesitant to kill monsters, but in ojiro's case it could have been due to him having to get so intimately involved with the kill itself with his fist or tail, a lot of the more range people in their class were more forthcoming with killing monsters which included Aoyama, mina, and jiro every time he reads or heard of his friends killing monsters his self-conflict would return to him in full force he, of course, he has killed a monster before to save Uraraka but that was to help a classmate in a dire situation to do it continuously was something he couldn't bring himself to commit unfortunately he did't really have many choices in the matter due to being a hero and bad still recovering from his injuries so he had to rely on others to put down the monster he would engage with he would rarely fight a monster by himself preferring to fight with other heroes instead but this had its own fair share of problems do to the lie about him being able to control monsters things became fairly muddy when fighting with other heroes wanting him to "docile" it out allowing them to kill it more easily which even if he could control them doing something that cruel was just not something he would morally be able to do killling a monster was one thing but killing a compeely defencless creature was something else , it was the reason why even when he participated in hero fighting he would often just rely on his feedback ability combined with his boxing talents to really participate while monsters offered greater boost than traditional animals the one thing animals had over them were numbers, specifically insects having had lived through and experience so much now insects didn't seem as scary to him, their were also a plethora of them in a city at a time and he could power himself up to a similar level of power that aki would using them but sometimes even that wasn't enough and if the situation called for it he would use his vice shout to stun or disorientate monsters enough for some other hero to land a killing blow or avoid getting hurt themslves, everytime that happened aki's voice rug through his head about how monsters and humans just couldn't get along and maybe she was right…technically he treated them more like pets than people, could he actually say that he would save a monster life over a persons?
To make matters even somewhat worst there were sometimes when he did have to fight alone and while he could somewhat take care of himself thanks to his training, monsters would also have unique things about them that he couldn't handle or they were simply stronger than him and in that case, insects did help out along with being numerous due to not being as scared of them as he were before and he's been getting to know and learn more about them so that he could more accurately use them in combat most notably their poisons to debilitate a monster or kill it out right in case he overdid it sometimes but using animals against monster had its own problem other than the animal's safety but if the animals consumed some of the monsters it would prompt them to become a monster as well depending on how much was consumed. His go-to were mosquitoes which were plentiful in the big cities but also since people found them to be mostly a nuisance it all served to benefit other people's lives as well, they didn't seem to mutate like other animals so he always thought it would be a win-win situation or so he thought, he was surprised when he found on his patrol that he was suddenly surrounded by a swarm of mosquitoes thankfully they didn't want to eat him or else he would have been dead now.
he attempted to communicate with them but nothing seemed to get them to budge he attempted to outright control them but he received pushback from something. So he was forced to see where this went he continued forwards being guided by the large group of misquotes further away into a secluded place down a couple of alleys where finally the mosquitoes dispersed rather rapidly and suddenly and what was revealed once all of them finally finished scattering was a surprising sight, he originally thought that the person responsible for this would have been chemonille he was the only other being he knew that had a power similar to his that could control animals as good as he could but maybe that was just him getting his hopes up of aki coming back to him and even if it was them the likely second encounter between the two of them would likely be fighting of some kind, he kinda dreaded that inevitability.
What was revealed instead of either individual that he knew of however was just another monster, but this monster now that he could see her looked somewhat familiar to him in a way as well, his mind raced to connect the dots as his eyes scanned over her body, at first he believed it to be some a mosquito type monster that had transformed do him commanding them to attack some monster in the past but it was different some of her parts were artificial prosthetics instead which in comparison to the other type of prosthetics he seen by the cyborgs and machines seemed hastily built but disregarding that she did look familiar to him somehow and then it clicked to him the mosquito aesthetic combined with her injuries and the ability to control mosquitoes could this be…mosquito girl? From the simulations but he thought that she was killed by either saitama or genos what did she want from him? He gulped as he looked at her and maybe it was his sudden nervousness but the woman seemed to have also been surprised by his sudden nervousness. As she gave him a small suave smile and sauntered toward him, koda was essentially frozen in place as the monster circled him analyzing him,koda in the meanwhile was thinking of a possible way out of the situation as he scanned his surroundings but he found that most of his paths were blocked by a swarm of mosquitoes and it's likely if he made a move to scream then the monster will likely kill him so he opted to just remain quiet and look towards the ground if she didn't kill him yet than that meant that she either wanted him for something or she didn't want to kill him at all and he hoped for the latter he thought as he stared at the ground but he slightly jumped when he felt the cold metallic prosthetic of the monster on his chin raising his head to look at her, koda was also taken back by just how tall the girl was she towered over him someone that was 6ft so this was practically unexpected was that simply do to her prosthetics? Or when she had legs was she naturally this tall? He may need to go into VGS again to double-check that, that was if he survived that is. He allowed the metallic appendage to push his head up which made his eyes partially scan over her body going from the middle over her stomach and up past her…rather exposed …breast which despite not being normal still caused him to slightly redden in the face before he finally met the woman face. He felt another robotic hand grace his head spikes and he slightly shivered at the touch.
"Why so nervous? Do you know me? Are you one of 's experiments as well?" the monster asked him and koda quickly shook his head in decline.
"But you have seen me before, your eyes told me so." the monster remarked. And koda hesitantly nodded his head, he was still attempting to look for a way out or escape but still found no luck his only hope was that someone would find the large mosquito swarming in place weird and call a hero of some kind to help out.
"I see and where would that be from?" the girl asked.
"Ummm…a…a video of sorts." koda said his voice slightly shaky the girl took note of that and she released her grip on him and moved away from the teen which he assumed was her attempt at making him feel somewhat safer and it did he let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding and could speak at least partially more comfortably then he was before.
"And pray tell, what video of me did you see?" the monster said crossing both of her arms over her chest and looking at him expectantly.
"Umm a…a simulation of you." koda clarified he didn't want to risk mentioning genos as that may just make the monster angry.
"I see that's fascinating..well it's nice to know that I haven't been forgotten. But that is not why I brought you here..no I wanted to know who has been overfeeding my babies recently." the monster gestured with her prosthetic to the swarms of mosquitoes surrounding them and he realized what this was about.
"Oh..ummm…I'm sorry I didn't mean to umm make them feel uncomfortable." koda remarked with sorrow looking down at the ground for a moment.
"Well, I can feel that you really mean that, normally I would rip you or anyone who messes with my babies to shreds and leave it at that but here is a tip about mosquitoes only the females need blood for survival males can't process the stuff so when you force them to ingest it, they can become very sick. I would have graciously taken the blood for myself but as you can see with my lack of sack I'm incapable of holding it myself, it would have been a delightful gift too." the monster said turning around briefly to show off her backside which given their conversation he had to look at it or he would be likely seen as rude, so he looked and she was telling the truth just above her butt was a scarred mark that seemed to be wrapped in bandages of where the likely blood sack would have been.
"I wanted to see if my creator could create me a new one but he apparently just lost his way since I was gone and flaked out on me and gave me these stupid contraptions instead." the monster woman said as she turned back around.
"Creator?...so your …not a monster?" koda murmured in reply
"Why of course not although I can see why you'd think that but going off what you and your friends are you should know not to judge a book by its cover shouldn't you," she remarked with a slight chuckle.
"I'm sorry, I...I didn't mean to offend you..I-" koda started to say continuously apologizing for his blunder but his apology was stopped as the girl's slight chuckle turned into full-on laughter before she regarded him.
"I was simply playing with you dear, but take this as your 1st and only warning be more careful from now on with my babies if you wish to use them, your cute so I'm letting you off the hook for now, don't make me turn back to how I was…oh and nice horns by the way." the mon-women said as she made her way off flapping with her wing up and out of the alleyway, koda noticeably blushed at the compliment and while he verbally didn't reply to it he did accidentally fire off a telepathic message responding in kind not to be flirty but just to be kind, he never had someone compliment his horn before. The girl turned around and looked at him while in mid-air before tapping the side of her head and replying.
"Well aren't you full of surprises and a charmer as well, ara ara, well until we meet again young hero preferably under different circumstances." the girl said and she waved goodbye and koda did the same, and just like that the girl was gone in a cloud of darkness which were mosquitoes. Koda didn't know what to think of the encounter too much but he would heed the women's words and use misquotes somewhat more sparingly than he was before, as he expected some heroes were called for the sighting of numerous bugs in his general direction. He warded them off and remarked that it was just him fighting a monster at a time, he would keep his knowledge of the girl hidden for now he thought as he continued on his patrol for the day.
Week 4
Festival of the Lost: Everyone
Everyone in the class was preparing for the big event coming up however, it wasn't a good feeling of excitement or entertainment it was something to mostly bemoan and to bring up bad memories of the recent invasion. The class was all still conflicted on how to proceed with the monster crisis going on but more and more individuals had been more willing to kill the monster more often than not the greatest of which was Midoriya himself once it was clear that even he wavered from this cause the rest of the class soon followed suit as well but more important than that was the reason why he started to slide down that slope, try as he might the class could tell when he was feeling off and they all had their speculations of the reasons why but similar to before they would not press the teen for details on the topic until he was prepared to tell them. For now, the class had to prepare for the event that was coming that day. Traditionally it was seen as a hybrid custom of mourning and celebration from the evening until the night. The evening represented the mourning aspect during which time people would set off numerous lanterns into the sky representing the dead or fallen that people miss dearly. Nightfall represented the celebration aspect of the custom all of the lanterns they had shot into the air throughout the evening would explode into dazzling fireworks and the festivities would truly commence things with food from all over the supercontinent converging on A-city, originally the customs were celebrated separately from city to city but now that A-city was well what it was and the announcement of the monster association the hero association, the military, and the police wanted to show a united front of humanity along with being good remembrance of A-city itself so everyone would be coming down into the emptiness that was A-city.
This obviously would need a massive amount of setting up to prepare for the people, which both the heroes and police and multiple other workers would continue come to set up their tents and food stands and this time around the non-killing army wasn't exempt from the set up they weren't even exempt from the protection services they would be working for most of the night as protection if anything went wrong their group was specifically selected do to their bad reputation with the public some people were even asking for them to be stripped of their hero titles all together so doing this for the festival was a lesser punishment of sorts just simple community service and the teens didn't mind they would have helped if just asked in the first place so it wasn't all that punishing for them. Given the teen's unique abilities notable in this case Momo, Mineta, and Todoroki. Todoroki provided a large amount of ice for the event, Momo, and Mineta provided also whether this be with materials or objects for use in several of the stands being put up the others pitched out where they could with just putting everything together and surprisingly they were still done in time for them to have some free time in the meanwhile which everyone decided to spend in their own way, they still want to get in with the customs of the day and launch their own lanterns in the sky but some others of their group had their own obligations to commit such as Toru, Tokoyami, and Momo was requested to head over to U-city given that Ojiro didn't have much of something to do so he decided to join them, Kirishima, mina,koda, and sato the four of them were going to head over to B-city in memory of some the shinning prodigies that lost their lives during the breakout some were momentarily surprised that sero didn't want to join them in B-city only remarking he was going to "go on a tour of his failures" by first heading over to J-city near the navy then up to K-city lake and then head up to B-city later, he would be accompanied on his journey was one of his closer companion being Mineta and tagging along with him would be aoyama. Kaminari would have tagged along but he and Jiro had their own thing going in V-city and tagging along with them was going to be Shoji.
Everyone else didn't have much of something going on with them so they decided to stick relatively close to A-city for the upcoming festivities instead of just launching a tour around the connected cities which were O, B, N, Q, R, S, Y, and C. the only person that didn't tag along with anyone was Bakugo who after being told that they had the moments free immediately just left the group blasting off without a word spoken to anyone they didn't know where the explosive blonde was headed towards but given his general directions they assumed he was headed towards O-city and despite the implications of that no one commented about it much either, Bakugo himself was getting more and more agitated lately as well and his reasoning was a complete mystery to all of them even Midoriya himself and no one knew what was going through his mind maybe the stress was getting to him some thought and during night excursions he has once again been brought back to their home unconscious again they even asked silver chain what was happening with him but the ninja had refused to comment wether that be because she honestly didn't know or Bakugo made her swear not to tell them they didn't know or have many ways to find out given that all their spy attempts promptly failed due to ninja's efforts whatever it was they hoped he didn't do do anything to dangerous he could be rather unpreditiable when he was mad but their was also the potential danger of him being off by himself, given what happened on the night of the invasion they opted on a system where people would be accompanied by two others on their time off if they were to just go out regular on their time off the only exceptions to this was pushed by both Bakugo and supported by Tokoyami that those with S-class capability should be allowed to do as they please and given that Todoroki was in different to the circumstance and midoirya also agreed that was how it went. The class all agreed to meet up at B-city and by that time everyone would make their way back to A-city and celebrate the main affair.
Affairs: O-city, N-city
Bakugo didn't need to discuss where he needed to go once all the damn labor work was finished he instantly already knew where he wanted to go and he preferred to go by himself. Over the past week, he's been trying to convince silver chain not to go through with the monster cell thing but the damn girl was stubborn and he couldn't fault her for being so given her past maybe if they spoke sooner things could have been different but she had already made up her mind before she spoke to him and she likely would only take force as her only answer almost literally the only thing that she accepted to get her to back down was the potential if he could beat her in a fight and take the monster cells by force. She offered this compromise because she "liked him and wanted to honor his efforts." but that was just the equivalent of waving the option in his face to taunt him but he still bit like a kid trying to take something from an adult but they pull the object away he tried again and again to beat her but it was simply impossible the gulf between them was just too big and every time he lost he just got angrier and angrier not only did it kept telling him that he couldn't save this girl that he actually liked from her suicidal path that no matter which way it went would lead to her death but also it was symbolic of still how far he had to go to even surpass all might, despite how strong he's become that mountain just seemed further and further from him to the point that he started to wonder if he would ever surpass him but even more than that would he even surpass Midoriya who was even more powerful than all might without his additional quirks. He thought about his fight with that large centipede and how he was useless in comparison to his childhood friend he has surpassed him completely and there may not be a damn thing he could do about it no matter how hard he tried but he never dwelled on those thought any more than for a second as he would never let it consume him he would continue to try at the very least do his best to save this dumb girl if he could he already figured out the second part of his awakening from battling her one of those times, some sort of natural version of his C4 ability along with his cluster ability his sweat could now be put on a timer while he couldn't control the time yet but he reasoned out it was just a few seconds before the explosion would happen this was a blessing and a curse however as if he overused the sweat glands in his hands then they would lock up and prevent the sweat he was directing their through forcing his sweat to find other exits out of his body but that timer was stil ticking if he didn't excrete them in time then they would explode inside of his body damaging himself in the process the only bright part of this process was that one this case was happening his body would be much faster as a result allowing him to at least somewhat keep up with silver chain if the girl was feeling somewhat chartiablte to him that was.
He didn't know what he was going to go to O-city to achieve was he going to go challenge her again? Or did he just want to attempt to talk things out given that he had to be on security for the event transpiring later in the night and he wasn't even good at all the talking and stuff other than telling her what dumb Idea it was he had nothing really to go off of, he could attempt to go to the association about flash's deeds but the likely advent that they don't know about it already is pretty useless and they likely didn't have much power to do anything in the first place, the hero association only existed for like three years in the first place which Bakugo found partially surprising given how much power it had over the world. He guessed he just wanted to be closer to the girl or at least, since he was likely one of the only people that knew about her past he wanted to spend the day with her given that it was a festival of mourning.
He remembered that there was also an exchange of gifts happening between loved ones, friends, and couples during the festival as well sort of like a good luck charm for the rest of the year but now but he didn't have much of anything the girl and the class a whole kinda never actually mentioned the topic surprisingly enough even the couples in the class which definitely told him that recent events have been plaguing their minds as well, he thought about giving her a weapon of some kind but he wanted it be made of something special and incredible hard not something that could be replicated so easily which brought him to that centipede again but upon going back to the scene of that incident he found all the scales that were left from the baldy's strong punch simply gone, he initially believed that Momo would know about it given that her teacher drive knight had some fascination with experimtining and creating things from monsters but the girl shocked him by revealing that it was likely the monster themselves that gathered up all the remaining pieces which was a strange thing to harken a guess to and he pressed for more details and she revealed to him and slowly everyones else that the monster had came upon a creature that could resurrect the dead if enough of it's body was left over, obviously given that most of it's body was straight up destroyed by that punch meant that in whatever state the centipede was in was dramatically smaller and weaker than what it was when they first saw it which was a cause of comfort at least.
Overall he just couldn't find any thing that would be suitable for the girl as he could imagine she needed anything in the first place so he just left those thoughts alone so he guessed, he'll just be by her side for the day he guessed, he was curious what she was doing for the day most of the time the heroes had it easy still monster would spring up from time to time but for most of their actual battles were catching monsters in transit to the Z-city ghost town, originally they would argue since the monster didn't actually do anything but exist they should be spared but their intentions was well clear at this stage and denying your enemy reinforcements was the bare minimum of tactics so killing them was the most logical option to carryout even further more the hero association set up sentry around the Z-city ghost town to see where these monster that would go but for the moment that hasn't bore much fruit or at least he hasn't been told if it has, their had been some minor battles there but most of the time the monster association would force the association away by threatening the hostage forcing them to back off, bakugo was still surprised with how gun-hoe the association was about killing and this world biological almost disability like uncare for others that one simple hostage would stop them from just blowing the monsters up hostage be damned but he guessed the mmonser accounted for that and took someone really importance son instead.
Bakugo's thoughts slowed as he first stepped foot down in O-city he had to cool his arms down from the travel so he decided to walk the rest of the way, he was sure that he would eventually run into the girl herself or her living clones some time or another but after 30 minutes of walking he found nothing, he asked one of the heroes on patrol about her mysterious absent and he remarked that he didn't know and that blue fire was the acting supervisor for now and that did for a moment make Bakugo anxious but as he took to the sky to look after going off into a more forested area he came upon a strange sight of a tornado happening blowing in the trees and figuring that it was the best shot he went to investigate it dropping down in the center of the harsh wind and just as he expected when he landed the harsh winds stopped and revealed silver chain their in her full gear.
"Bakugo….are you here to rechallenge me?" silver chain remarked.
"Nah, I got things to do later in the night with this dumb event, what are you doing here?" Bakugo asked.
"Warming up," the girl replied simply.
"For what?" was Bakugo's obvious response as he leaned up against a tree with his arms crossed looking at her.
"To kill flash." the girl responded so casually that Bakugo took a few moments to properly realize what she said and he immediately jumped off from his lean-to and went into a more serious stance.
"What!? Don't tell me you already ate the cell, have you?" Bakugo asked, but the girl shook her head.
"I want to see where the gulf is between our two capabilities first." silver chain remarked simply.
"And what if he kills you just then and there?" Bakugo asked.
"He wouldn't kill a fellow hero unprompted, I will pose the duel in the form of a spar." silver chain said.
"Bullshit you know dam well know he'll probably see through that shit. " Bakugo accused and the girl simply shrugged her shoulders.
"You are welcomed to accompany me to put pressure on him not to kill me or rather I would welcome you to accompany me." silver chain said and Bakugo gritted his teeth but nodded, he knew he couldn't talk her out of it so the best he could do was tag along with her.
The two of them traveled towards the hero association railway and continued forwards to N-city, Bakugo was curious how did she know that the hero was in this particular city and she replied that she had planted a tracking device to follow after his movements but there was a highly likely chance that he has already spotted it and is simply waiting for her to arrive she guessed. Bakugo studied the girl on their journey she was anxious judging from a bunch of her micro movements the repeated stepping of the foot, the shift of her body weight from left to right, and her shifty eyes but he wondered why? she was going into this fight expecting to lose correct? It was a simple test to see how far apart they were or did his thoughts get to her if he decided to kill her then that was it, he couldn't do a damn thing to stop it if he decided to do so and she knew that or was it something wilder and if she managed to kill the man due to him holding back to much while she went for the kill what would she do then? He would technically be an accomplice to the crime and would she kill him to silence him or would she ask for him to lie for her sake and would he? He wasn't so sure about that he didn't know how the hero association handles flash situations or if they know about his shady past or not but given his mission they had to have some inclination of it so they could just pass it off as some assassins getting the best of him.
Bakugo thought before pausing for a moment and inwardly cringing at himself god was he so obsessed with this girl that he considered covering up a hero's death? A dirty hero but still a hero regardless he likely couldn't do that and would have to tell the truth so as the two of them stepped foot into N-city proper and began their walk he was hoping Flash was worth all the fuss and that scenario wouldn't happen.
The two of them walked their way through the city and started to pick up the pace as evening set in, his arms were recovered from his initial travel to O-city so now that he could keep up with the girl well more precise she was traveling at a pace where he could keep up with her the two went to a rather mountainous zone where there were tons of cliffs and rock outcroppings but the most surprising thing to him was the many lanterns that were being lit into the sky, he turned to look at her but she simply watched the lanterns tugged into the sky before quicking up her pace and Bakugo joined behind her, the two finally climbed the tall cliff where they're the man sat cross-legged as he lit a couple of more lanterns before he addressed them as within his hands was as she assumed the tracker she was using to find him.
"I was curious to find out who was behind this, I didn't expect it to be you. It is apparent that we do indeed know each other somehow." flash remarked still not looking at them his sword was laid down next to him.
"I never expected you to be one for regret. Why so many lanterns?" silver chain asked.
"I do not "regret" anything, these are for the people that needles hate me for one reason or another I know my past breeds this kind of needles hatred which is what brings you to me." flash remarked simply stoically while both of their tones were flat as dry rice seemingly almost uncaring, the tension in the air was incredibly thick Bakugo nerves even shot up his neck.
"Needles?" Bakugo murmured under his breath, killing someone and a friend or loved one wanting revenge was considered needles rage to him and while Bakugo thought his minor comment was going to be ignored the man answered him.
"If it wasn't me, it would have only been someone else instead… well in a manner of speaking it would have been better if it was someone else than maybe those individuals could have a chance of closure although killing rarely brings such." he said so confidently like he was an untouchable god and then was he preaching at the end there? Bakugo thought curiously, he shot a side glance at silver chain and saw the girl's hands balled into fists so hard that he could see her knuckles turning white but despite that, her voice remained even and flat although that undertone of anger was still there she couldn't quite completely hide her rage at that comment or the man himself and if someone like him could hear it he was sure that to the man she was essentially shouting curses at him as he sat there still not bothering to look at them.
"Flash, I request a sparring match." silver chain said and there was a several-second pause as the man lit another lantern before a minute passed and still no response, and then he responded.
" ok." flash remarked simply reaching down and grabbing a hold of his sword after that Bakugo didn't know what had happened silver chain didn't wait for the man to turn around but he doubt that mattered much to the girl for right now, the speed that she launched off at completely threw him off the cliff that they were on forcing him to course correct and land on a different smaller cliff but he did not dare move after that, while he couldn't see any of their fighting he could feel and hear it swords clashed the wind blew with forces that could only be experienced by something out of category 20 hurricane if that ever existed, was this what two being on the level of all might fight like? He wasn't in the epicenter of the fight between all might and all for one but he imagined it somewhat felt like this large rock and sometimes entire cliff faces were completely vaporized or cut to pieces he didn't know who was doing what he had only a fraction of a moment to register that silver chain was once pushed down into a rock somewhere simply going off the reflection of her metal clones but that was only a fleeting moment at best before she disappeared again the fighting came to an end with the predictable victor he was standing over her leg pressed into her stomach and sword pressed into her throat, Bakugo looked down at his phone and not even a minute passed yet despite the destruction the two brought to the landscape. He was hesitant to approach as the two seemed to talk about something but he breathed a sigh of relief as the man removed the sword from her throat and walked away Bakugo glanced at him for a moment, the dam guy was spotless and didn't have a scratch on him he was a monster among monsters. he thought the man looked up at him and for a brief moment Bakugo did experience fear but that vanished as the guy simply disappeared.
After looking out over the area and seeing that man left he hoped down and made his way over to the down girl while the man was spotless she was in worst shape she had numerous cuts around her body even along her chest which notably showed her bust size she guessed that the mass-reducing clothing was damaged during the entire process. But he ignored that and looked at the girl's face, it was unreadable with the mask on but there was some sadness there even though this outcome was the expected one maybe she didn't think it was as vast as it was but there was no reason speculating about it as he held out a hand to lift the girl back to her feet.
"So did you enjoy getting your ass kicked?" Bakugo responded somewhat light-heartedly to raise the mood at least somewhat, the girl took his hand and rose to her feet but she stumbled and was unable to catch her footing so Bakugo had to stop her from falling on the ground again before he helped stabilize her. She grunted in pain which signified to him that she may have some internal injuries but he could feel several bruises on her as well.
"It was a learning experience, the monster cells seem to be the only way forwards after all." silver chain remarked and Bakugo grimaced at that thought but said nothing as he helped the girl to a nearby perch where he sat her down and sat beside her and the girl started to lean on him but she said nothing for a couple of moments as the two looked out over the destroyed landscape the two of them could do some real damage in just a couple of seconds it was surprising.
"Thank you ….for not telling anyone about my plan. It means a lot to me." silver chain said suddenly as she leaned against him.
"I'm not some blabbermouth." Bakugo responded quickly although it was a near thing once the girl offered that challenge to him and it was clear enough after the third attempt he wasn't going to win against her. he nearly went to Midoriya and asked him to fight in his stead, while he was slower than her he was stronger and with all the other quirks he was somewhat optimistic in his chances of beating her but he just didn't know if it was either his pride or just betraying her trust he just didn't go through with it he was at the door and About to knock but he hesitated and walked away even when his friend open the door and asked what he wanted he just ignored him and pretended he didn't want anything, the girl chuckling on his arm brought him quickly out of his thoughts.
"That you are not, despite everything you kept your own secrets hidden well. Although given that I shared my deepest secrete with you I hope that you could do the same." silver chain remarked at first Bakugo thought that all of this was some elaborate trap for him to figure out what he was lying about but as he cast a glance at the girl and looked into her eyes it held no signs of deceit well at least not in his mind but if that wasn't the case why was she speaking like this was the last time the two of them would-
"So this is as far as you go, You made your decision?" Bakugo asked and the girl nodded.
"Yes, I do not know when the conflict between the two associations would commence but I imagine it will be soon, I would like to get accustomed to my new body before the final fight commences." silver chain commented.
"I…see." Bakugo said briefly before going into some thought about it and thought what the harm in telling her the truth at this moment would be although he would leave out the part about the black boxes that could be extremely dangerous especially if she told the monsters of all people about it or if she decided to go out and search for them herself part of him maybe thought it would be ok still, it could be even better that way, as she could remain human a little longer; however, he didn't want to test that god creature given its powers.
"I see...I have never heard of this GOD creature before however it explains a lot about you all, thank you for telling me the truth although I have no more need of it." silver chain said before getting even more comfortable on his shoulder, he felt the soft flesh of her bosom surround his arm making him flush. They stayed there for a couple more moments before the night began to fall and Bakugo needed to head back his phone rang out in the notification of probably the others asking him where he was.
"Bakugo…for the day ..could we change our relationship to a more romantic one? If this is the last of my days as a human I wish to experience it, at least a genuine one." the girl asked
"Sure, no problem on my end. Although I'm going to be busy for like half the event." Bakugo replied.
"Well then we can make the best of the other half then." silver chain replied simply and Bakugo nodded before both of them separated and make their way but Bakugo was surprised when he suddenly felt something touch his cheek, he quickly turned to find the large girl pulling away from him did she just kiss his cheek he thought as he saw the girl there without her mask on and a small blush on her face before she covered it again and waved goodbye and disappearing, despite everything Bakugo couldn't resist the small smile that quirked up at his lips.
Trail Of Regret: J-city, K-city, B-city
Sero had been dreading when this day would arrive as he made his way over to J-city it was going to be the biggest reminder of his blunder when stepping into this world. He slightly chuckled at how naive he was, he was isekai'd into another world but still attempted to operate like it was his forcing and trying to go against what everyone had been telling him, and for that others paid the price for it. It also brought back memories of the night after the invasion, which left a horrendous bad taste in his mouth, especially the night of the invasion his blood just boiled even thinking about it. If the monster's goal was to recruit them and get them to join there side what type of herculean logic that likely no human could understand did the master mind or whoever planned it think of having that thing being the one to offer him anything after what it did must have been just plain stupid or more than likely just unaware but despite that, it just felt so awful when on that night the monster that had taken him to the side was none other than lord great white himself the shark monster attempted some sort of diplomacy of some kind talking about it not caring about if sero ate the monster cell or not in fact he preferred that he didn't so that he could feel what it would be like to be the last of his kind in existence anything else that was said by the shark fell on deaf ears as he reorientated himself. Upon doing so and seeing who it was sero's rage flared raging hot and he allowed his subconscious to completely sink and saren to take over his body, the fighting started near immediately after that as he just watched on from deep within unfortunately his body was still too weak to kill the shark monster no matter how hard saren tried although he did manage to successfully wound it taking off its large fin from it's back with a spell of his along with help from his sharpened tape it was likely just a superficial wound he did notice that the creatures hand had completely recovered so he held no doubts that his fin could come back as well.
Ultimately he had to retreat by taking to the air and leaving with his enhanced quirk but he resurfaces and swore that he would be the one to kill the monster to make up for all the lives he's taken so far making up for the mistake he made in letting him live. The one good thing the invasion taught him was that saren was skimping out on him and if he was going to kill lord great white he couldn't afford that anymore but the reason saren never attempted such things before was that there was a sharp drawback was when every time he would do so a sharp pain would nearly deliberating pain would ring out from his head and he could do very little to stop or help it two spells was his limit and while saren attempted to explain it in his way, the way he explained it in a way he could actually understand was that he was simply to dumb to use spells took a lot of toll from his body, to fix this issue it was simple to get smarter it didn't matter in some specific category or anything of that nature which was good all he needed to do was expand his mind and he had the perfect thing to fill that void which was in the art of sword fighting he was training under the best samurai in the world after all so it just made perfect sense to just dive right into and read about not only the forms and techniques but cultural significance, History, and anything else that seemed interesting he would even help Mineta with his quirk training and learning the entire periodic table along with what certain metals contain how much of each element. Ultimately his three weeks of practice have culminated in him being able to now allow saren to cast 6 spells before the burden became too much on him which may not seem like a lot but it was a force multiplier for him so he would take what he could get, on top of that now that he was more serious and knowledgeable about his sword training he improved significantly from where he once was although still nowhere near the disciples.
Speaking of the disciples and sword saints as his group came into J-city they also bumped into the disciples as well, over the past week they have been getting somewhat more friendly with him he had no doubts that a massive part of it was his now more than the willingness to kill monsters but also if he was going to give himself some credit he was always good with making friends even if it took a while, their master even revoked his previous challenge towards his students about him well revoke was to strong a word he simply reduced the penalty of being touched by his tape he wouldn't exile them but they would need to go through another rigorous process which involved touring the entire continent and striking multiple specific targets that the master would set up as some sort of redemption before they could be seen together again so they were still a bit apprehensive around him in case he would just surprise attack them out of nowhere and he can't lie when he did make jokes about doing just that somewhat regularly but he would never follow through on it he told them and they believed him for the most part that was, he would only attempt to seriously tag them during pratice however if they got hit during that time then it was on them and it would show how much he was improving if he was wiling to do so but he could still barely keep track of them when they were fighting so that was still a tall order for him to do realistically.
The group of six made their way into J-city and made their way over to the seaside on top of already just a nice spot where people would launch their lanterns into the sky, the navy also held an event nearby for their members specifically. The sword saints were already there talking amongst the various crew members and admiral as sero and his posse joined in, given that he had several cities to visit he couldn't stay long with them he lit a couple of lanterns and was surprised when some of the family approached him and wanted to put some of his tapes on their lanterns at least to symbolize that there was no bad blood between them which he was thankful for but still felt like he didn't deserve and he always felt pity in a way for the people of this worlds suppressed emotional responses but he guessed that it was a necessary forced evolution so that everybody didn't become a monster during times of panic or strife, he wondered how his world would be if things were that way? He was sure that some folks wouldn't have become villains or they would have just become monsters instead. Thinking about back home he wondered how things were going midoirya seemed constantly in a state of stress so he guessed it wasn't going too well how could it when the strongest hero was here instead of where he needed to be, he trusted the other heroes sure but just like this world there were just facts that they had to face.
All for one was untouchable until all might and one for all and now that one for all was out of the picture he couldn't imagine what all for one was doing now what moves he was making, this doesn't even include how many heroes were actually left still fighting and haven't just decided to abandon ship and for a moment a flash of anger flashed through sero again but this time at none other than those supposed "heroes" of their world in comparison to this one, while objectively their heroes were definitely on the nicer side of things and more organized than this world it became incredibly apparent as of now that the heart of the heroes of this world was massively greater than those of their own even given the unatural precedent of the monster association and the damage and havock they caused no hero quit and they continued to fight but maybe that was due to their suppressed emotions or maybe it was something different here that monsters only goal was to kill never petty money or hope to control like the villains of their world so quitting here felt like you were quitting the human race as whole or you were just being selfish not to defend your neigboor? He didn't know but it still stung nonetheless.
He shook hands with the admiral before heading out with Aoyama and Mineta, he still had two other cities to visit before the main event started so he needed to be quick, saying goodbye to the council of the sword and the disciples and hoping to see them at the party. The three of them quickly took the next train to K-city it was an uneventful trip as he didn't know many of the people there but he came to swing by the great forest where lord great white was first captured and then he remembered that missing person post and decided it would be the best place as any to light a few lanterns and he wasn't the only one. there was a mob of people there doing the same and an unexpected turn of events was that near the direct capture of lord great white was a large number of people fishermen in fact and curiosity getting the better of him, he decided to investigate. he quired one of the fishermen and they remarked that they were liting some lanterns for the lord of the lake that was killed by a monster some time ago which made him feel even worst than he already did but he joined them in their efforts simply forming it as being a fellow fisherman and lit a couple of lanterns to the sky it was also in hope of the fishing population returning to normal in the coming months as the monster disrupted the ecosystem and it hasn't quite recovered since. The last city sero needed to go to was B-city, there was nothing that needed to be said about where he was going and why so there was an extra degree of silence around as he walked Toru, ojiro, and Momo was already there minus one Tokoyami who they remarked left some time ago and people could already speculate on where he had gone given the direction he was headed in but they neverminded that as everyone presents around to send off another dozen lanterns before taking their leave towards the others to get together with mina and Kirishima before the rest of the class joined them on their trip back to A-city.
Those We Failed Those We Saved: U-city, B-city, Z-city
Toru, Tokoyami, Momo, and Ojiro had made their way down toward U-city despite the reason for the three heroes to be called their moods weren't all that spectacular given the circumstances. Tokoyami just seemed annoyed by the entire spectacle but he's been tenser as the invasion started initially and even Toru didn't have much of her energy to attempt to lighten the mood. The three of them remembered their experience in this city during the invasion and what had transpired, the zombified humans they killed or the weird hallucinations of their friends during the darkness Momo wanted to take partial blame for taking so long, and that maybe if she got there sooner maybe some of the people in that town would have lived but both Tokoyami and Toru comforted her in remarking that there was no guarantee of that being the case and she shouldn't beat herself up over it and that they should look at the people they did save and be proud well at least that was what Toru was saying not only to her but Tokoyami as well although the raven boy mood never really changed. The group of four made their way into the U-city the group met up with zombieman which made sense why he was there as well given his contribution to the city, people crowded around the man and gave him a couple of claps and gifts as he passed by although he denied almost all of them as he wasn't much for the stuff people bought him, in comparison, the group of four minus ojiro were looked at more controversially while they did get some share of praise from the crowd for their efforts there was not an undetermined amount of people that glared at them with some forms of contempt and some harsh criticism that was levied their way as monster sympathizers or fake heroes.
Tokoyami while not needing to do so had made sure his helmet was always active, while he was in the city. He didn't feel like dealing with or even hearing people remark about it given his mood and despite that, some people did talk about him calling him a likely traitor or spy for the monsters. Some people were just angry about the events and wanted to pass the blame off to someone so they understood it likely wasn't their true emotions well they didn't know that for sure while the interview did wonders in helping alleviate people's gut reaction to their more inhuman members that didn't eliminate the issue, especially after the invasion from two weeks ago which several executives were directly targeted by the monster association leading to one of their sons being kidnapped which logically leading to a great many numbers of them to speculate of a mole somewhere in the association and people would point to the mysterious monster-like arrivals first before pointing their finger at anyone else and given that Tokoyami is up there with the higher ranked heroes it would also lead him to have more information than others but that was just dumb people theories on what could be happening that were online. There could have been an incident when someone threw something from the crowd of people at Tokoyami specifically but shinning light stopped it before it got anywhere close to him but Toru had to stop the arrow in retaliation from reaching its target and given all of this was happening invisibly no one else was the wiser of the altercation at all besides the two of them.
The event came and went, and the four of them along with four other heroes had been center stage among four large lanterns so the group split off into pairs to set up behind the large lanterns and lit them together before sending them high into the sky to float adrift with the other. Zomebieman and Tokoyami both quickly made their way out as the event drew to a close not wanting to stay around for conversing, Tokoyami told the group that he was off towards Z-city and he would meet them at B-city later on and everyone agreed and went their separate ways.
Z-city
When Tokoyami arrived in Z-city more specifically where Sigismund's house was located previously, the wreckage was mostly cleared by now but rebuilding seemed to be put on hold for the moment given the day events he imagined what surprised him was that someone was there already.
"Why are you here asui? Are the others here as well?" Tokoyami questioned as he landed but the frog girl shook her head.
"No, I asked Midoriya if he could drop me off here….I thought you might show up." tsu remarked simply.
"I can take care of myself, are you sure it was wise to just wait here by yourself? " Tokoyami remarked in an almost snappy fashion which he didn't attend to but he guessed he was still mad at that person that had thrown something at him before.
"I can take care of myself too, you know." tsu shot back simply putting her hands on her hips somewhat agitated by the way his reply sounded, Tokoyami's mask was still on so he couldn't wipe at an annoying itch that arise from the awkwardness of the situation so to elevate that he bowed his head and apologized.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to insinuate otherwise. Thank you for coming to check up on me." Tokoyami explained.
"I also came to pay my respects to Sigismund as well.."tsu said as she stepped out of the way and reveals three lanterns, Tokoyami was surprised he had been meaning to buy some but he wanted to check the state of the neighborhood first and if he could even light lanterns their if construction was going on the option was out and he would need to find someplace else to light them.
"I…I see, thank you I could reimburse you for the money if you need it." Tokoyami said as he approached the lanterns.
"It's fine, as I said I wanted to do this myself." asui replied and Tokoyami nodded at that before he continued and picked up one of the lanterns and asui picked up the other one and together they lit them and let them fly up into the sky leaving one left, both Tokoyami and asui took the lantern and lit it before together launching it into the air. Tsu looked down as the lantern crossed the buildings but Tokoyami remained looking skywards.
"Are you doing alright? Ribbit." tsu asked which seemingly got the dark teens, he never removed his helmet so she couldn't tell how he was feeling by looking at his feathers but her question seemed to stir him from his thoughts as he looked down at her but he didn't respond verbally merely nodding before switching topic and telling her they should move on and meet up with the others. Traditionally Tokoyami would have flown over with his power it would have been faster than taking the bus and metro but whether it be because of how he was feeling and not wanting to leave the city so soon or more like him not wanting to leave her behind, ever since that day Tokoyami's had become more formal with her, previously he would have easily carried her from place to place like everyone else but with her, he was more strained and cautious to do so, even dark shadow who was always a cuddle bug or liked her head pats barely did so recently. She had first thought that the trip could be an opportunity for them to discuss more that had happened and maybe help him get over what was ailing him but Tokoyami didn't really talk much at all and mostly avoided the topic of the invasion altogether, preferring not to speak on it and that was that most of the trip was spent in silence which was extremely awkward for the two of them but they managed to get to where the others were and quickly acclimated with the rest of them.
B-city
Toru, Ojiro, and Momo all made their way toward B-city, given without Tokoyami they had to rely on Momo to get there which was somewhat more fun for them as Momo used her conjure ability to create three motorcycles for each of them well two because Toru decided to ride along with ojiro even though he wouldn't be exactly piloting the craft only just a spectator essentially riding along for the ride to the coordinates that she set for it but Momo speculated that it was likely due to where they were going, Toru had been quieter than usual the entire day probably in anticipation for this event. As the crew landed down next to the orphanage or well where the orphanage would have been along with the entire block, many people were lining the streets of the ones lost lighting lanterns for those lost the long line of people put a sour feeling in each of their gut just thinking about what could have happened if they didn't spare the many monsters that they did, according to police reports there was some reports of the incident that had taken place for the invasion and parsing though it all was rather tiresome but narrowing down the search to just what happened with the broken out monsters from the association it narrowed it down pretty easily.
they had made a direct B-line through B-city towards Z-city and from there they completely dropped off the radar at least the larger creatures did, speculation has the dog creature having blown holes into the ground similar to mining with tnt and digging in that way seismic activity from the area seemed to suggest so but given elder centipede and the already paranormal seismic activity things were still up in the air of where they really went but the truth remained the same they had passed through here and caused the damage before them at least indirectly by not stopping the monsters when they first caught them. Along with them, there was bang and bomb that greeted Toru and ojiro that were also at the location, he was saddened by the news of his fellow students passing but he expressed something controversial well to them it was controversial but to probably anyone else was probably a normal sentiment, in that despite the sadness he was experiencing for losing two of his students he took solace in the fact that Jackie at least died instead of living as a monster, given the group he was talking to he quickly amended the statement stating he would have preferred the incident not to happen at all but this is the life for them, that made the group of teens became more downcast as they think about their role in the events but ojiro was curious about what happened now, what caused her to transform as she did in comparison to someone like Fred who was also their, bomb hesitated for a moment before replying and during that hesitation, sero and the other had arrived and joined up with them, sero's eyes while partially red he still had full control of his body and was still present.
Bomb cleared his throat and went on to explain somewhat about why he believed Jackie had transformed stating that as they could see from her being in an orphanage she's already had a troubled past and this was likely exemplified in her use of the whirlwind and why she couldn't use it to a high level in comparison to Toru which already tipped him off that her reason for seeking out martial arts wasn't entirely for protecting herself but revenge or disdain of some kind he replied that this wasn't the first orphanage she's been in at least to his knowledge, there was another but that one also came under attack by monsters leaving many of the staff dead or wounded and a good many of the kids killed but she was a survivor. So he speculated that she likely turn into a monster due to this incident happening again and her being powerless to stop it from happening a second time even after she trained for this specific purpose and all of the teens shocked at the sad tale as it was in the complete juxtaposition of how she acted with such playfulness and spirit. Sero said nothing as they all continued lighting and raising the lantern for Jackie and the orphanage as a whole. 32 lanterns lit into the air with one of them being special as it was modified by Momo to do something a little differently than the others when it exploded at night. Bang and bomb went their separate ways not without Momo informing bang that garou was still alive and breathing in the monster's association and that they wanted something so he will likely be kept alive for some time Momo said and bang thanked her for the information before the two groups left.
Muscles apprentices: B-city, D-city
Kirishima, Mina, Koda, and sato all made their way over to B-city directly while mina did want to pay her respects to her otherworldly sister that was Jackie she also wanted to be there for Kirishima and the rest of the guys, Kirishima had been beating himself up over the past few days due to him being unable to prevent the monsters from running free he felt so useless during the breakout and given what happened he felt even worst when he heard about what happened as a result of the monsters escaping it wrung out to the same effect as what happened with giagantomachia from the war, even though they succeeded in administering the sedative the behemoth was still able to rampage forwards through many of the cities killing who knows how many people the difference being was that at least at there was an end to its rampage due to their efforts the same couldn't have been said for the monsters he just failed and could only watch on and pick up the pieces of where their destruction lead, mina and sato both attempted to tell the teen that it wasnt his fault and that even darkshine was defeated by the monsters present so he had no hope of changing things and while somewhat of a comfort it still felt painful in a way when thinking about some of the monsters actually present during the fighting a number of which were ones that he or the class personally captured which put more of a personal spin to the destruction they would pass.
The three of them were essentially following the trail of destruction the monsters headed from the monster association did through B-city as they traveled they lit lanterns along the way as they progressed. A question did form in Kirishima's mind when he spotted up near one of the buildings a bunch of large scales embedded near the top sato and koda recognized where those had come from almost immediately before grimacing the others took note and they informed Kirishima and mina that the monster that caused that was most likely scaledon the monster they fought in the forest during the first month which brought both Kirishima and mina to match their expression thinking of that day, it wasn't the only monster they remembered from that day that did damage their were large melted pots of land that were being repaired as they continued their journey highlighting that turtles creature game-berus devastating flames which one of its mouths shot out. The question Kirishima pondered was, did they make the right call in letting them live that day given what they did now obviously hindsight is 20/20 but even if they had known could they have done it either way? Kirishima was accidentally speaking his thoughts out loud as he was thinking that and the others believed that he was talking to them so each of them chimed in with their response to that question.
Koda was unsure, he didn't speak much on it other than saying that he didn't know if he could have done something like that, sato remarked that if he had known well it wasn't going to be up to him if they were considering it as he didn't have that kind of strength to put them down but if the person that did were to and knowing what he did now he wouldn't make to much of a fuss about it but he also reminded everyone that they were technically ordered to capture them so really it wasn't entirely their own faults and some lies with the association of course this was while the truth not entirely relvenant everyone of them knew that even if they encountered them in the wild they would have attempted to capture them first and foremost before ever trying anything lethal if they would have tried it at all but that was mostly left unsaid as they continued, mina on the other hand was completely indifferent stating that she would have killed them then and their if she had the chance this reaction usually would garner a surprise from any of the other guys around but given recent events it was fairly normal she was one of the more eager members that were willing to put monsters down that have been spotted recently if she was forced to and after given incrediby fair warning about which usually followed by her acids true power and if they did't surrender after all that well….the results would be over fairly quickly.
Sato and Kirishima were of the indifferent variety for the moment on monsters they clearly understood the risk that they presented to the wider society but part of them hoped for some other better solution of at least some type of place they could put them where they wouldn't be a problem but until that happened they battled monster with the intent to essentially disable at best humanly possible breaking legs, arms, or hard concussions were fair in their eyes something that would stop them from being able to hurt someone again for at least a long time for when they went in next and with a dash of hope that the pain they inflicted would potentially change their mindset on their actions a little more but from everything they have seen they doubt it would. Koda was obviously on the fence but wasn't against killing if the situation called for it or simply not dealing the killing blow given that he often fought with heroes of this world who held no qualms about killing monsters outright.
The conversation quickly died out as they continued before they finally veered off the destructive path and went to pay their respects to Jacki finding the orphanage and meeting up with her teacher bomb, they lit a lantern in her respect before caring on towards D-city for the shining prodigies event that was happening at around the same time. the shining prodigies were a rapid response force by the heroes association all of which were inspired by darkshine they were plenty strong in their own right but even with them the monster was just too much, especially the demons which were brought up from the dwells of the location of the 20 shining prodigies that were at the location three of them lost their lives due to the fighting and another five had lost limbs of some kind during the fighting as well which to a bodybuilder was incredibly heartbreaking for them it would make their bodies uneven and in some cases, two members dropped out form weight lifting altogether although they instead wanted to take up the position as full on heroes once they had got done with their cybernetics which showed their extreme pride and bravery. As the group arrived in D-city they were greeted by Mizuki who waved their way but didn't shout as she normally would which added to the importance and mood of the event, usually she and Kirishima would already be in the midst of a wrestling match before even commencing with what they actually came to do or both of them would gush over their teacher darkshine's Muscles in some way but for now they simply settled with a firm handshake/hug which even despite the situation mina felt some way about but the feeling quickly faded as quick as it came.
Kirishima asked the girl if darkshine had arrived yet and the girl shook his head, darkshine for his part was also beating himself up over the monster invasion although it was strange he had secluded himself for a couple of days before returning almost right as rain like nothing had happenedbut as this festival drew closer he began to seclude himself away again, kirishima speculated that, it may have been just how he coped with it all but no one really knew what was going with their teachers mind but as he arrived and even then her didn't have his suauly carfree attitude that he normally did with the shinning prodgegies but his face seemed even more hardened then before showing how serious he was takignt he occasion to be, he arrived and greeted all of the shining prodgeies along with kirishima and mizuki before proceeding forwards with the three "lantern" lightings but this wsn't the traditional kind this was something different instead , like everything dealing with darkshine it was just a show of strength instead of a traditional lantern that would float up into the air before stopping the lanterns that they held were heavy ball shaped objects with the prodogies name on it, these heavy bals each weighing a compact ton of material would then be hurled up into the air by darkshine himself and once the object reached the appropriate height the object would expand outwards into a 6ft wide blimp of some kind which like the normal lanterns would explode into fireworks once night fell. Darkshine commends everyone for their commitment to training their muscles to the point that they had and that even despite their injuries they were giving up he wanted them to stay out of the coming conflict and that the official heroes will deal with the monster association when it was the time to strike back and that those lost will be avenged by him.
A Dojo without A master: V-city
Kaminari and Jiro's trip towards V-city was mostly spent in silence, the young couple were both in a mix of emotions involving where they were going, traveling to Kaminari's former master dojo felt extremely awkward for the girl given that she was the one that killed him, even if no one else had seemed to mind not even his former two students it still felt wrong for her to be there but kaminari ensured her that they all wanted her to be there, she was still trying to wrap her head around thinking about what she did was a good thing or something to be praised for while their master had indeed joined the monster it was in a desperate attempt to protect them from the coming storm which she could sort of understand, kaminari was about to do the same thing for her when he was going to eat the monster cell just to protect her from getting hurt or worse. Maybe she should have waited some more and seen where the conversation went…he did hesitate after kaminari told him about what happened to the monster that attack the stadium maybe he was still in there somewhere beneath all the electricity but she guessed her self-preservation took over and she just acted, she began to stroke along her ear jacks thinking about the casing that coated them, maybe she shouldn't have allowed child emperor to talk her into keeping her knife mode and stuck to something else but she couldn't lie about the results the child prodigy was right vibrations was much more dangerous then she could imagine and if she was being more honest with herself she wouldn't mind experimenting with it a little more and see where it goes.
Kaminari saw that she was touching her jacks and wrapped his own hands around them before planting a small kiss on them and consoling her again that what happened that night was alright and that she shouldn't beat herself up about it before making a light-hearted joke about how technically in this world she was actually a "real" hero to them for doing it and both Genji and Max were no different. She understood that but it was still hard to separate that from what she was taught in their world, kaminari remarked of a common phrase in rome which was "when in rome do as what the romans do" which just meant to adapt to the new environment but he had no right to tell her that when he was in the same boat as she was even after killing those two other monsters that night he hadn't killed a monster since although he remarked that it was due to his practicing with driveknight, he explained due to his knew availability he started to practice with the cyborg a bit more and every time he wants to get under the machines circuits he would draw out electricity from him when fighting although that would usually end up with him somewhere on his back in a lot of pain but the point being was that driveknight instructed him that he should be thinking more heavily on how he approached fighting similar to a machine and draining his battery he could effect organic beings in a similar way he could cause them to malfunction in a way. Kaminari at first didn't know where he was going with it but he remembered what happened to Bakugo, Todoroki, and torax when they fought that energizer monster and how they were paralyzed from the electric shocks and jiro also got where he was coming from as she remembered how volten was also able to completely stop her from talking and lock up her jaw with electric shocks.
Jiro made a joke about how she didn't think he was smart enough to actually be capable of doing that because he was to dumb for it and he laughed at that he appreciated the zinger as it showed that she was getting back into her flow and calming down and she definitely wasn't wrong about it in the least bit learning about electrodes and the impulses of the body was a lot and he would fully admit to not being the sharpest learner in the class even when he did try to, but he ultimately didn't actually have to know that much to inflict some major damage. Kaminari explained that drive knight allowed him to run some test on some robots and even offered to do some of the monsters he captured but given his inexperienced he didn't feel comfortable doing such things on living creatures if he didn't have to but from his experience with the robots he learned at least somewhat of how to be able to do it disrupting somethings nervous system to essentially send false signals and make them spasms around or become paraylsed on the spot he could only do it in his lighting god mode as it was significantly easier to feel out those signals as his lighting sense already did most of the work for him, he called it his lighting touch and jiro cringed at the name before commenting how he sucked at naming things and he challanged her to come up with something better and she obliged before humming in thought for a couple of seconds and electric impulse and kaminari thought about it and he allowed it, he would go with her name as long as he got to name one of her moves in as well and she agreed to that whenever she actually got a new move that was but he better take it seriously or else she would just disregard his suggestion entirely and kaminair swore that he would.
Their stop finally came and the two of them made their way through V-city, given the recent invasion the three were partially surprised that the city was mostly in tact although they momentarily stopped by what seemed to be a celebration being held by a group of people these weren't any heroes but what appeared to be sumo wrestlers of some kind the leader of which was someone calle raiden who had reportedly stopped a demon level threat from breaking into one of the hero association shelter while impressive it wasn't the reason the two were their so they quickly carried on to their objective, now the large hill climb was upo him normally kamianri would take a moment to take a hit from the perpetual storm off the cost but instead he and jiro simply took their time walking up, they were greeted soon by both max and genji they had their hero outfits on and were each holding what appeared to be scrolls, they noticed the two of them on approach and met them on their journey up giving a polite greeting and handing kaminari a scroll of his own they explained that the scroll was the essence of the thunder thunder fist, it was everything their former teacher noted down of his style of martial arts and its inner workings and they believed that all of his students should have such information but they wanted to discuss an even bigger matter and that what should they do with the man's dojo, surprisingly each senior apprenticae remarked that it was kmaianri who should inherit it given that his abilities were the closets to the man himself and while honored that presented a huge problem given that kamianri would be gone in the coming month so he couldn't just take it or it would just be abandoned when he was gone but he was struggling to come up with a reason to decline the generous offer.
His girlfriend was there for him she remarked how it would likely be better to destroy the dojo in its entirety to respect the man more she would have offered to leave it standing up but then it could be ripe for squatters. The two disciples considered her proposal and agreed so kaminari went to the edge of the hut and looked out into the storm before throwing out multiple of his spectrum nodes he let out a bunch of lighting with his indirection shock leading the storm to launch its own lighting his way which he consciously redirected into the nodes themselves and after 10 lighting bolts hit him he turned the nodes towards the dojo, before unleashing the lighting held with it at the structure each shot exploded and on contact creating several holes and causing fire to erupt in its place and the place slowly began to burn in front of their group and the disciples took a moment to light a single large lantern using the flames from the burning building sending it up into the air before it was Jiro turn to use both her arm and leg stereo to completely blow out and cast the wreckage of the building out into the ocean. The three disciples shared one last electrified shake of farewell before parting ways. Kaminari still in his lighting god form swept Jiro off his feet and quickly continued to run over to B-city to meet with the others.
Together again
Everyone that stayed with Midoriya was mostly just touring around the neighboring cities just out of Midoirya's curiosity he didn't have any obligation to go anywhere like some of the others did their tour wasn't one of leisure however as Midoriya led them mostly to the most destroyed areas without saying much of anything the entire time, everyone noticed the proceedingly tired and bitter mood he had lately and it seemed like he was purposefully trying to pile on it by showing them the destruction the monsters had brought during the invasion. The group lit a couple of lanterned during their travels and had visited multiple cities using Midoriya as transport until the group started to separate tsu wanted to head off to Z-city by herself which she explained why of course given their rule they had they didn't want her to be alone but she slightly fibbed and remarked that Tokoyami would be their so they left her alone, Midoriya had to head over to S-city mostly due to natalie and her company wanting him present in a sort of celebration of the women's safety which was in complete juxtaposition to a number of people gathered in the lower half of S-city which were lighting lanterns for the other executive who son was captured in fact that executive was extremely still bitter about the situation and completely banned all the heroes that were present for his son capture from entering into S-city at all, not that koda had any intention of actually wanting to meet the man again given he placed a lot of the blame on koda and his "monster friends" for capturing his son even despite the facts.
Miodoriya and the others alongside him left their way to S-city straight to Natalie's building; the top part was already constructed again but the damage at the bottom was still being repaired there was a large welcoming party for the young teen as the group made their way inside, Natalie greeted him and the rest of his friends as well before the event officially started there was some food and drinks and Uraraka noted how Midoriya for his part did his best to seem happy or content with the party but at least she and Natalie could see through his facade as the grown women attempted to talk to her about what was ailing him and she was surprised that even she didn't know about it but it was the truth Uraraka didn't know and the more she saw the more she wished she did. The party was fast and light given the night's events that were to take place so they wanted to have room for food later on. They all lit a couple of lanterns in front of the building before they all said their farewells, despite the fake face Midoriya had put on during the small event it did seemed to lift his spirits somewhat at least Uraraka seemed to think so but now that the sun was going down it was time for all of them to go and set up for the event they would be working alongside the police and metal knight drones to set up parameters of the food stands and festival goers.
The group all went to B-city and began to meet up with the others Bakugo took a longer time then the rest to meet up taking an extra 30 minutes to arrive almost making them late and the direction that he had come from was fairly strange if the explosive blonde was coming from O-city but not many commented on it and those that did, didn't receive much of an answer other than to mind their own business. Together the 20 of them all got together and headed back to the A-city where the events were about to begin, they were security not only for future monsters but just the general party goers as well they were meant to keep the peace especially since alcohol would be served here as well which could lead to conflict or disturbances if people decide to over indulge. The class was separated from each other in groups of two and were mostly near the outskirts of the event, given that this was essentially a world-encompassing event it was filled with a bunch of people it was one of the largest festivals that any of the tees had ever seen thousands of people had flocked to an empty plot of land that was A-city in preparation for the event. The event didn't start until night fell and the fireworks started to begin from all of the lanterns taking place and it was a sure spectacle to behold. As soon as the night sky wrung out over the land, light emerged in spectacular fashion all over the sky dotting it with flashing colors of reds, purples, blues, and whites lights everyone seemed to look in different directions likely indicating from which direction they had lit a lantern and the teens were no different all looking in the direction of the lantern they lit that was most important to them.
Once the fireworks died down music began to play and the festivities officially began. Nothing substantial had really taken place over the course of the event as the teens made sure nothing too bad happened between the patrons at first things were fairly quiet and there wasn't much conflict happening but that changed slightly when the night carried on there was a few conflicts of interest between people over simple misunderstandings or minor transgressions as of was typical of people that got drunk but overall the teens didn't have to do much of anything too rough in their interventions other than a near war between two rival cities and x and y which nearly spiral into a large brawl but the parties were separated by Shoji, Tokoyami, and Koda's group of fairly easily although they remarked that they had gotten some unflattering remarks when putting a stop to the individuals which were less than pleasant some even freaked out and directly called them monsters or attacked them as such but they were just normal people so they were easy to subdue and detain. There was one strange instance where there had been a nuisance of mosquitoes traveling around a bunch of the food stalls nearby given Koda's ability he was assigned to deal with the problem and the quiet teen attempted to dispel them similarly how he was doing constantly to all the insects and bugs within the area however these were a bit more tricky and he could reckon a guess on why that was as he asked the insects where their mothers were and if they could take him to her, there was a moment as the message seemed to spread along the insect hive before a group of the creatures starts to lead them into a given direction, they are the group of three found themselves in front of a takoyaki stand there seemed to a be a small group of people huddles around being served and but the group's problems was found elsewhere as they followed the small crowd of insects around the back of the establishment and there they found their problem.
"Oh hello there handsome, didn't expect to see you again so soon." mosquito girl remarked in a suave tone both Shoji and Tokoyami were surprised to find the presumed monster in their surprise dark shadow had nearly lashed out but koda intercepted it, stepping in front of the girl and preventing the shadow creature from doing anything to hasty. Tokoyami didn't reprimand dark shadow's hasty actions but did reel it back towards him not back inside of himself but instead just floating next to him as if in preparation for something that may happen.
"She isn't a monster, she's an experiment." koda explained to them, and while Shoji somewhat relaxed Tokoyami seemed unconvinced he still maintained his helmet so he couldn't tell what the dark teen was thinking but darker shadow was still out so he was likely still on edge. Koda felt a metallic clamp touch his horn again making him slightly jump as the girl stood up to her large height towering over both koda and Shoji she rubbed a metal claw up and along Koda's chest before moving beside him.
"Aww, you didn't feel tell your friends about me? Are you ashamed of me?" the girl remarked in a fake dramatic and pouting tone.
"No, no, no it wasn't anything like that it's just ugh..ummm." koda mumbled before he felt a metallic pincer roughly clamp his cheek as the girl laughed
"Oh you're so precious." the girl remarked but before she could say anything else Tokoyami intervened.
"Could you remove your insects from the area, there being a nuance." he said through his helmet, koda slightly cringed at that fearing that the comment would draw some conflict but the girl only chuckled before replying.
"You know lashing out at me, won't bring whoever you lost back right?" the girl commented simply, making everyone pause for a moment.
"I guess a lab rat like yourself wouldn't understand lost." Tokoyami commented simply.
" your right I don't and I'm so happy about that as well, it's one of the reasons I'm superior to humans anyways, I hope you didn't think lab rat would get to me, in fact, I'm sure in comparison to yourself the people would think that your just as much as "lab rat" as I am," she replied with another chuckle and before Tokoyami and dark shadow could do or say anything any more Shoji stepped in and pulled Tokoyami away from the conversation and let koda handle the situation instead.
"You have nice friends." the girl said, looking down at him as the other two left.
"He was right, you know, people are starting to complain about the mosquitoes everywhere," Koda said, trying to stay on topic and get back so that they didn't worry about him.
"Well that is the idea, the doc wanted me to cause some disturbances so that he could drive people towards his business here." the girl remarked, throwing a mechanical limb towards the stand in front of them.
"Well. Ummm, could you stop it? He seemed to have got what he wanted from it. People will talk and spread the news if it's good." koda argued and the girl stopped and considered for a moment turning her head side to side before replying.
"I have an idea, how about you take a girl out, this is the first festival I've ever been to so I want to experience what all the fuss is about." the girl remarked and Koda flushed with embarrassment.
"Well um…I guess that can be arranged." Koda mumbled while he was sure that other than her height the girl would likely draw a couple of looks her way due to her somewhat abnormal look he believed that it should be already right her prosthetics may even work to her advantage and people may take some pity on her. The girl yelled at the "old man" in the front of the stand that the gig was up and that forest lord had found them out so she would stop with his little plan there was a brief silence before the man made his way back to them and for a moment koda was surprised despite calling him "old man" the person in front of him seemed pretty young at most in his 30s or so but the man came back saw him and then immediately apologized for his scummy tactics explaining that his Tokoyami shop hadn't been getting much publicity and this was a grand opportunity to spread the word koda could understand the man's plight and didn't intend to get him into trouble but that he just wanted the other food stands and the festival goers not to be harrassed any more and the man understood before telling mosquito girl to call them off, koda thanks them for doing so and the doctor returned the gesture going even further in giving him and his friends a couple of sticks of free takoyaki. Mosquito girl also reminded Koda to come to pick her up when he had the time and he promised that he would before leaving out with Shoji and Tokoyami, both of which were even more confused between the last interaction between the lady and the quiet teen.
Tokoyami asked if it was wise to be alone with her given how dangerous she was and koda wanted to argue that if she wanted to kill him she could have done so previously but thinking about his experience thus far Tokoyami may have had a point, he didn't want to trust the girl to much so it would be wise to go along with others and Shoji said that he would go along with him to ensure that he stayed safe, Tokoyami didn't reply but dark shadow did telling him that he definitely wasn't strong enough to protect himself from her let alone someone else from the monster girl and while he did reprimand the shadow for said comment it was telling the truth and simply echoed his inner thoughts about that matter, the monster well "experiment" was comparable to that of a demon level monster and while he respected his friends strength, he knew the facts weren't in their favor regardless in her base state she was about a 7 on the demon scale but if she ingested blood that double to 20 which in comparison themselves Shoji which had grown to be about .012 on that same scale that was a difference of over a thousand , koda was more malleable similar to queen herself but he got to .008 on that same scale he didn't have any monster to dramatically increase his power and animals around was scarce so his feedback would do very little he believed even if he tried it. Although maybe he was just being paranoid as the other two remarked that the others would be around as well in the festival he doubted everyone would stray too far from each other and Tokyami not really wanting to argue agreed with them and let them be.
As the time ran down and the class was finally about to be relieved so that they could go and enjoy the festival as well this call came in the form of a midshow speech by none other than sweet mask himself. The star/idol/hero first went on and began his talks with the gathered people which first began to listen he thanked everyone for traveling making it to the impromptu event even through the trying times, he ensured the people that monster of the so called monster association will all face a swift justice and to emphasize what he meant he straight up said that the heroes and police will work together to exterminate each and every one and return the child that was stolen, which gained a round of applause from the audience, then as those died down the star started to broach an interesting and unexpected topic that of the "non killing army" the mere utterance of the name actually brought some boos from the crowd itself which sweet mask bought into but he quickly quieted it down audience before going on with what he really wanted to talk about. he didn't hide his own revulsion of the name but he quickly adjusted and started to talk about how some of the more observant people among the crowd might see how that name no longer apply to them and that now that they have experienced what monsters were truly like they have shed their "naive lenses of the world" and are starting to get serious.
He attempted to blame their naive worldview mostly due to their upbringing and their sheltered life and that the people shouldn't hold it too much against them but now that the monsters have truly shown what they were like when they invaded their cities, destroyed their homes, and clearly laid out their motivations of complete genocide against humanity that they have seen that these beasts can't be saved and are just a blight against the peace and culture that they try to uphold and to that end, they were going to be officially changing their group name from the "non-killing army" to "the mutants" it was a simple name change that indicted that while that they were still human they were different.
The class was completely baffled by the blindside of the news but they were more surprised when the one that had proposed the idea as the supposed "leader" of the group was Midoriya himself the teen hopped towards the stage before any of his classmates could ask about what was happening and sweet mask offered him the microphone where he spoke, the first thing he did was apologize for what they were trying to do, he explained that as sweet mask had said they didn't know the environment and that they thought the monster was similar to themselves in a way they were still human somewhere down even through their changes but the monsters of the monster association were different and maybe they represented monsters as a whole but for now they couldn't deny the facts anymore the monsters wouldn't stop so they couldn't afford to hold back anymore. Midoirya commented briefly before giving the mic back to sweet mask and walking off the stage, to a surprising round of applause from the audience and sweet mask himself. Sweet mask continued to go over with the praise and then to complement that he also started to list some of the rank-ups that were around the mutants due to their achievements during the conflict.
Green savior deku S-class rank 14 - 11; for the defeat of a dragon-level threat in C-city
Frozen-Phoenix S-class rank 13 - 15; for the defeat of another dragon-level monster in C-city
Tsukuyomi A-class rank 31 - S-class rank 17; for his contributions to saving U-city along with recommendations from zombieman.
God Of Destruction: Dynamite A-class rank 20 - S-class rank 18; for assisting in the defeat of a dragon-level monster, recommendations by both demon cyborg and silver chain. He also added the fact that among the group he was the first to kill a monster during the invasion which gained him an extra round of applause from the people listening.
He didn't list the other ranks of the group stating that most of the group had performed well enough to get an entire class ranks up as well and even enforced that they were still adapting to their powers and that potentially they could climb the ranks even higher especially now that they would stop holding themselves back and that with that they could likely proceed even farther but the conversation quickly moved on from them as he started to speak about more general topics surrounding the cities and the new cooperation with the police to ensure that people were safer in the cities before ending his talks with a song. The class immediately got together following the song now that they were free they could do whatever they wanted but what just happened took precedent, Bakugo hesitated for a moment as silver chain seemingly appeared next to him during that time she was draped in purple and gold kimono but it was strapless leaving the thing to hang around her upper arm and she wasn't wearing her mass reducing clothing so her cleavage was fully pressed out and on display, god she looked hot he had to fully admit but he had other pressing matters to attend for the moment so before he ran off with her similarly to the others of his classmates they needed to talk to Midoriya as he saw the large huddle of them walking of into a general direction into the private booth set up for them although he did take the time to thank the girl with a kiss on the cheek for her recommendation into the S-class as he asked if she could wait just a bit longer for him and she nodded in understanding.
Now Bakugo was seen kissing the girl on the cheek and usually, Toru and Mina would have a field day with that but they all were more interested in discussing what was going on as they went to go get Bakugo to come to join them and the rest of the class to discuss what was just happening so the three of them went off into the tent where things were tense, to say the least, some people had mixed emotions on their faces as the three entered and finally sat down the discussions could finally begin on what's just happened.
"Midoriya, why would you do something like that without discussing it with us first?" Iida was the first to speak out, the teen in question shrugged his shoulders before speaking his voice sounded tired and many knew that just wasn't from the day's events.
"It's just a simple change, we can't really call ourselves that if we kill monsters now…it would just be a contradiction, shouldn't we strive to be as clear as possible? Besides this way, people would stop looking at us with such contempt in their eyes." Midoriya answered and at that, Iida wanted to argue but no words came out as he dropped his hand.
"Is….is that a sign that you're going to…kill monsters now?" Uraraka asked with some hesitance and Midoriya looked at her before looking down at his hands balling them into fists and releasing a breath and responding.
"I wasn't lying with what I said on the stage, this world isn't like our own, we can't force it to bend to what we consider justice and we see what trying that does.'' Midoriya commented looking around the room to a mix of reactions, some more positive than others.
"I know that not all monsters are well not completely evil but we have to face the facts of our situation and this place, that doesn't mean I'm saying once we return we have to continue on killing obviously but if we're going to be heroes here than we need to follow the examples of their heroes or else the people were right and we are just …imposters." Midoriya said solemnly. There were a few murmurs here and there but Momo was the one to carry the conversation forwards and some might even say instigating but the girl wasn't one to do so lightly.
"Midoriya, while your reasoning is sound, are you sure that this change in thinking …..wasn't brought on by some…external factors that you aren't telling us about?" Momo asked and several more murmurs were brought on by the class Midoriya looked at each of them matching eye contact before he balled his fist up again and his power flared as electricity danced across him.
"That's a valid question to ask and to tell you the truth it did play some part in it." Midoriya said simply.
"Are you going to tell us what's happening back home or are you just going to sulk yourself the entire time and leave us in suspense?" Bakugo responded roughly and to the point of what Momo wanted to say and once the question was finally directly posed others echoed Bakugo's sentiment as well other than Uraraka who was the only one that reminded him that he didn't have to if he wasn't ready yet, he smiled at her and kissed the top of her hand for her concern but he couldn't just be wallow in his own self-pity forever and maybe sharing at least some of his burden of what he knows could help him deal with it better than keeping it to himself.
So with a deep breath, he started to talk about it, first things first he told everyone what he had told Uraraka previously of how there was a rescue attempt to save all might but it failed and everyone involved was killed during the process which included stain, gentle criminal, and Koichi or the sky crawler a popular hero from the states and a fellow mega fan of all might..even in his final moments he wore his premium all might hoodie under his uniform, Midoriya remarked with a broken voice but he continued whipping away at his face at invisible tears that pricked at his eyes. He then went on to talk about what sky crawler was important and how he had an awakening and in fact he was one of the first that all for one saw that had such an ability which drew the villain back into that train of thought and the villain wanted to start experimenting with awakening and given what drive knight was able to do for Momo and sato things could get even worst back home if he could replicate it for others. The grim faces were what he expected but now there was even more.
"But more has happened since then or maybe it's had already happened I don't know, all might mind, thoughts, and experience are fragmented so the vestiges are telling me things that he knows from listening in or being told by all for one and some of it seems scrambled and out of order but for now another important event that has happened is that….Gigantomachia has been freed and is back under all-for-one control, he also captured the original boss for the yakuza which I think he did to ensure Chisaki's loyalty and with that and rewind he could heal and recover even more effectively …or something worse. It has come to the point where the government has authorized heroes to use lethal force and is considering getting the JSDF involved as well. Japan may well soon become a warzone but the worst part of it all is it seems that all for one is counting on it he's thinking of using Spinner's almost cult-like following of mutants as body shields for his next assault." Midoriya stated with a low and steadily shaky voice before closing out with a sharp intake of anger. That wasn't all that he knew but he assumed that it was all that his class could handle for now and as he looked up to look at them there was a mix of hatred, despair, and disbelief no one said anything for several minutes as an overwhelming feeling of dread hung around them.
"Well umm, in other news... Sweet mask wanted me to give everyone these," Midoriya said after coughing to get everyone's attention again as he slid a sheet of paper in front of all of them with his black whip, on the piece of paper were five golden stars. Well, it would have been five but one of them was missing on each of their cards.
"The hell is this? Fucking Good boy stars?" Bakugo scoffed as he looked at the golden stars even more agitated than before.
"These are for drinks." Midoriya said.
"Alcoholic drinks." Aoyama clarified and this got the class's attention.
"But aren't we underage?" Jiro questioned.
"Oui, Oui madmoizelle but this is a special occasion and in this world where everyone was crammed into one continent this raised numerous scuffles on the drinking age, just like our world multiple different countries had different legal ages so there were numerous concessions made for the younger ages. So for us 16 years old, even as young as 14 are allowed to drink on special global events like this one and are given these stars which essentially are passes to drink." Aoyama stated and lightened everyone's mood at least a little bit as they looked at the slips with renewed interest and intrigue.
'Wait what happened to the fifth star?' Toru remarked, pointing at the empty space.
"Well, I wanted to have our first drinks together, you know after everything I've just said." Midoriya commented bashfully as a bunch of awws rang out from some of the class while others went silent, likely thinking about what's happening back home. The class conversated for a couple of more minutes while they waited for their drinks to arrive, everything seemed to be going fine and the atmosphere continued to lighten that was until, mosquitoes started to invade their space and at that Shoji and Tokoyami looked to koda and the quiet teen excused himself leaving out before quickly coming back inside to get Bakugo which everyone found strange initially but as two boys came back it was quite understandable why as two other joined up behind him one of them they already knew which was silver chain but the girl was dressed up and in more traditional clothing which was slightly revealing and while eye catching the true attention was all drawn upon by the new figure that towered over even her and had to actually slouch to not hit her horn against the ceiling of the tent they were in, noticing the stares she waved at all of them given a light greeting and thanked Bakugo for stopping his "girlfriend" from killing her and at that mention along with the huge lady that koda introduce, mina ad Toru despite the odds of what they just discussed had to know what was happening in that moment, the barrage of questions were slow and tempered only holding a fraction of the duos usual energy that she would express at such a situation but still their to some extent.
Koda went first given that mosquito girl was not only suspected to be dead but an enemy at that and he explained how he came into contact with her and what she was doing there in the first place, he would go out with her and explore and experience the festival and he also explained that she wasn't a monster and was more an experiment created by someone which she remarked as which no one knew except for that of Tokoyami who question if the girl knew of zombieman and after a moment of thought she declined stating that she knew of the S-class hero but never met the man personally. Tokoyami hummed at that but said nothing else. The next round of questions were for Bakugo and silver chain and the whole "girlfriend" comment the experiment made and Bakugo flushed but balked at that remark that they were simply trying things out and it was just a thing they were doing for the event. A few moments after introduction the drinks finally came for them and the class all took the beverage as Midoriya explained that he didn't really know much about anything about alcoholic beverages so he went with what the bartender suggested and something that wasn't too strong and something that would taste at least fruity, for the most part as all of the teens cheered and down their drinks it went over mostly well some people didn't like it while others were enthusiastic about it and wanted more so it balanced itself out, koda had to share his drink with mosquito girl unironically doing a second hand kiss that he didn't attend to and the terms was lost on the experiment not knowing what it meant but after that was done the class officially left out and separated into their pairs or groups and heading out into the festival proper.
Bakugo, Silver chain
Bakugo and silver chain went off together by themselves again not wanting to be brothers by the other extras of his class and they gladly gave the budding couple their privacy. Bakugo and silver chain for their part went to many stands as silver chain explained to him about a number of the foods presented and what cities they come from. She was like a natural tour guide for him and he enjoyed his time, she even recommended a couple of drinks that he may enjoy and she was right at least 2 out of the three times the third one was more bitter for his taste. They enjoyed a couple of games as well Bakugo being as competitive as he was wanted to beat the girl in at least one of the games they passed but the girl was damn near perfect in everything they tried out he beat her at one thing which was a claw machine, the prize of which was just more stars to be able to drink more alcohol it was one of the few prizes that Bakugo and silver chain would really accept. Bakugo didn't really care for many of any of the prizes nor did silver chain either but something told him that it wasn't just for disinterest of some kind as the two went off into a more secluded area to talk more privately about everything silver chain dropped another bomb on him.
"Bakugo, I have decided that I will be undergoing my transformation tomorrow." Bakugo turned his head so fast he almost got whiplash.
"What? Why so soon." Bakugo asked and he didn't mean for it to come out so desperate and needy but maybe the drinks he had were getting to him the girl turned to him and cracked a smile at that, however.
"As I said before I would like to get more comfortable in my new body before the fighting commences, it would be beyond reckless if I fight him and I'm not aware of my own abilities." silver chain remarked.
"And what if you just die out right, there is no telling if this dumb plan of yours would go your way," Bakugo spoke somewhat bitterly.
"I understand that which is why I bring this up…I will transform in that gorge that we fought saitama in from before…I will eat the cell at 4 pm tomorrow at 7 pm I want you to come to investigate the aftermath…if you find me dead… then….take my body to shadow ring." silver chain said.
"Tch….fine will do and if you survive? What will you do then?" Bakugo asked.
" Well, in that case, I would have to introduce myself to the monster association and meet with the other two ninjas. Other than growing accustomed to my body I would like to plan with them for the upcoming battle." silver chain stated simply, Bakugo didn't know why sudden anger came up through his chest at that but he washed it down as he took another sip of his drink.
"Well, I hope for the best for you," Bakugo said with a very slight slur to his tone.
"You have been somewhat off since your meeting with your friends, is everything alright?" silver chain asked and Bakugo laughed at that, a boisterous laugh before he stopped.
"You're so damn observant you know that. Well, you're right as usual. Long story short that ultimate bad guy from our world is being a bad guy and the heroes a failing, without the ultimate hero to counter him." bakguo responded roughly he felt a comforting hand circle his back and he leaned into that touch wholeheartedly.
"I'm sorry to hear that…it must be hard not being able to do anything to help out your world." silver chain said kissing the boy on the lips in hopes to cheer him up, Bakugo pushed forward deepening the kiss and her it was clear that he didn't know what he was doing but she allowed him to take charge of their union only stopping as he needed to draw for breath.
"Yeah it sucks alright and I don't even think if we go back we could do anything about it either the odds are really against us if only one of the upper S-class could come back with us or better yet….nevermind ..heh…given that this our final day I wished I could have gotten you a gift or something." bakguo started before stopping at what he was about to say and switching topic back to the present.
"You have done more than enough for me baku-"
"Katsuki ….for now you can call me katsuki." Bakugo said and silver chain nodded.
"In that case Katsuki for the day you can call me Sylvia, you've done more than enough for me…I truly respect that you didn't tell anyone about my plan or my goals there's not many people know of them." Sylvia said looking at the boy in the eyes, silver meeting red but Bakugo's face scrunched up as he realized something.
"Wait, how did those ninjas know about it?" Bakugo said and at that, Sylvia backed up and her own face took on a somewhat darker tone.
"Yes, the most likely option is that this entire thing was just a test from the elders themselves other than you only they would be privy to this information. Likely by some proxy between the two with some organization" Sylvia said and Bakugo fed off the look she was giving off, annoyance and anger using someone past to test them especially if she told them in confidence, and now that he thought about more what she just said his face flushed and he looked away.
"I...I see, you kept it so close to your chest but you told me..why?" Bakugo asked a bit skittishly.
"I guess it was due to you being an alien I did so…if I told anyone else about my plan then they would immediately dismiss it and likely report me but not you and I thank you for that." silver chain said
"I still think it's a dumb plan and would prefer you not going through with it." Bakugo almost said in a pouting tone and this got a chuckle from the stoic ninja as she used her hands to pull his face back towards her.
"I know it is a stupid plan but, I don't feel that my life could move forward unless I do so." Sylvia said before kissing Bakugo this time she took the lead and Bakugo definitely let her and boy did he enjoy it nearly falling limp in the girl's arms as he felt her tongue penetrate his mouth and explore it and guiding his tongue in the process along with the girl bosom pushing up against his own chest combined with his light headedness from the drinks created a serreal sensation for him before the girl pulled away from him and god he already missed everything about her.
"I would like to experience more with you however, if we go too far then the clan would likely know that something is amiss, traditionally a person would need to go through the trials before a kunoichi can have intercourse. But I guess it, would be my punishment for my transgressions." Sylvia said and Bakugo fully blushed at that before shaking his head and trying to regain some of himself.
"I wouldn't want to experience it this way either, it would feel like I'm just taking advantage of the situation.'' Bakugo commented simply and the ninja girl nodded at that before the two discussed some more about less serious topics before they left for the festival at large not without Bakugo getting another passionate kiss before they left their little secluded area.
Sero, Mineta, Kaminari, Jiro, Aoyama
As the class separated into their own groups, sero was mostly contemptuous to sticking by himself or at least staying in the tent and ordering a few drinks during his time, he was curious if he could get drunk off of just five drinks but he doubted well maybe if he downed them in quick succession back to back. He's drunk alcohol before courtesy of his grandfather on one of his visits to see his son of course it was just a shot of whatever and it was more of a prank than anything because whatever it was burned his throat badly and he immediately spits the stuff out but now that he had the option and could experiment he was curious what other hopefully nonscathing liquids would taste like, however, his friends wouldn't let him sulk alone like some middle age man in a life crisis, both Mineta and kaminari were more than eager to get the guy up and running again along with two surprising additions well one of them was surprising being Aoyama but he had accompanied him during the evening so he likened that it only made sense that he accompanied him during the night as well, Jiro was sticking around just to keep tabs on her boyfriend with drinks being involved she didn't want him getting to any trouble as he tried to cheer him up.
The group of four left and just went to have fun sero didn't really feel like going out with the intention of meeting or picking up chicks not that many people would likely even want him in the place given that their group as a whole had a progressively worsening reputation among the populous although he less so especially since he started to killing monster outright he did get a few messages from some people praising him for "seeing the light" and him "getting his head on straight." and every time it felt weird to get praised for killing things? Seemed like an insane world to exist in but he guessed that was the essence of an isekai he glowered again as his mind raced to what Midoriya said about back home. He guessed there was a reason Isekai never really talk about what happened back in their regular world it would likely just be people mourning the protagonist's death or searching for him which would be whiplash for the audience's emotions as the mc prances happily through his new world but he guessed this wasn't one of those stories while he was alright it seemed everything around him just wasn't going his way and it just made everything feel so bitter and on top of that back home wasn't going any better and seemed to be even worse off than when they left because they left it just made everything feel so worthless and empty but as kaminari and Mineta pulled him into another gamer he tried to ignore that feeling and just enjoy the night with his friends while he still could.
The group of four continued to drink and have a fun time while at the festival, the four guys plotted to get jiro to drink enough to where she would be open to going on the dance floor but that failed as she was heavily moderating herself to the point where she still didn't even finish the initially gold stars that she had initially received the guys, on the other hand, had managed to "win" a couple of golden stars through a couple of games here and there through totally legit skill and not cheating at all by using sero's remote controlled tape to his advantage. The four went towards one of the many dance floors eventually, however, the dancing was split up between two types of rather suggestive dancing in which the two parties usually being a girl and a guy would grind against each other in slow gyrating fashion and the second style of dancing seemed to be a very aggressive version of that to the point that Jiro had to look away because it just seemed like they were trying to do it with clothes on and after sero and Mineta went to investigate they found out that the dance was called daggering it was something but Mineta wanted to try it out and sero went to watch out for the little guy just in case, leaving kaminari and jiro by themselves next to the more sensual and slow dancing but the two simply sat on the sidelines watching.
"You know you can dance if you want to, I wouldn't mind," Jiro told kaminari looking at the blonde sipping her drink.
"For something like this I would only like to dance with you." kaminari replied back quickly a bit slurred but despite that Jiro still thought it was enduring as she looked back out to the wave of moving bodies she accidentally spoke out loud.
"I don't really know why. I don't think dancing like this would be really fun with someone like me." Jiro commented as she took another sip of her drink she was surprised when kaminari threw an arm around her shoulder.
"You must be kidding, I bet tons of people would love to dance with you like that..me included." kaminari said before whispering the last part making the girl incredibly flustered but she pulled away from him in some slight defiance.
"You're just saying that because you're my boyfriend. Not even Mineta cared about me during his perverted swings" Jiro commented with some snark, taking another sip from her drink.
"Oh, that? That's just because we swore to each other to keep one girl off limits from teasing, he was tsu and can you guess what mine was?" Kamiari commented in a sly tone as he got closer to the girl and wrapped his arms around her. Jiro blushed but leaned into his embrace
"Thank you for that….is this really ok….for us to just be having fun after what deku just told us I mean." jiro commented with a sigh.
"I think that was the point… I mean he dropped that bomb on us and then told us that we had the ability to drink right after? I'm sure he wanted us to just drink to forget about it, he sure was." kaminari said with a slight chuckle.
"Do you really think he would do something that devious?" Jiro questioned.
"Originally of course not but after his whole going rouge thing I don't know anymore, it would make the most sense at least to me." kaminari remarked before he felt jiro hand clutch over his arms as her earphone jack went to his chest.
"Are you not worried about back home?" jiro commented
"Oh definitely, almost every day I think about what's happening but after what Midoriya told us I don't even know what to think, maybe I'm not trying to think about it at all…but to answer your question I'm probably more than worried." kaminari commented, resting his head on top of hers and embracing her even more, jiro felt his heartbeat quicken and his hands slightly tremble with nerves now she felt sort of bad for bringing down the mood down.
"You can go out and dance with any girl you like, I won't get mad…I don't think I'm properly equipped for a dance like this to mean much, that girl has a pretty big rump to grind on." Jiro commented as she was gesturing discretely to one girl in particular on the dance floor but she was surprised when she felt kaminari press up behind her.
"As I said before, you are the only girl I would want to dance like that with, you shouldn't get so hung up with size trust me I know from experience myself." kaminari remarked holding onto her and kissing her on the cheek, she turned to look at him directly.
"So you're saying you're small?" Jiro half-joked with a smug grin and for her comment, she received a slight shock in her system she didn't know why but maybe because of the buzz it felt kind of nice but she definitely would hide it.
"No, I'm average thank you very much and I'm pretty sure you are too, the average breast size for Japan is B you know." kaminari remarked.
"And why do you know that, you perv." Jiro minorly chuckled as she took another sip from her drink.
"Hey, the information out there so why not look for it, if you ever feel not up to par with something it's good you actually know where that par is, so you don't just keep putting it above where you are." kaminari remarked simply.
"Hmph, I don't know if I can or can't believe that the smarties thing you've ever said is about body proportions," Jiro commented as she turned back to look at the dancing in front of them, she gently started to sway her hips along kaminari attempting to simulate what she was seeing other girls do.
"So what about me but is that average as well?" Jiro questioned and at that kaminari chuckled.
"For that, I don't actually know…you know I've never been a boobs or butt kind of guy, I'm more into….thighs." kaminari remarked sensually as he slid his hands down to give said body part a gentle squeeze along with slight Zapp, Jiro jumped within his grasp.
"If it weren't for you and me for that matter being a little buzzed right now, I would pluck your eyeballs right out of your head." Jiro commented attempting to his the blushing along her cheeks.
"Well I think then we should get buzzed more often then, I think you are incredibly sexy and just want you to know that." kaminari remarked before he did a minor sharp inhale as the girl ground hard against him.
"Yes, I know, I can feel that just fine right now." jiro remarked before she took a large chug of her drink finishing the rest of it before throwing it away and pulling kaminari to the dance floor.
"Come on then, let's dance but just watch those shocks sparky, or ~ I'll return the favor in kind." jiro remarked as the two got there and whispered into his ear as she dragged her ear jack down his chest letting out slight vibrations that made him shiver in his spot.
Koda, Shoji, Ojiro, Toru, Mina, Ojiro, Kirishima, Tokoyami, and Mosquito Girl,
As Shoji said previously he was going to accompany Koda with mosquito girl which they were now calling Aedes given that she didn't have a traditional name and calling her just mosquito girl was not only a mouth girl but a bit reductive at least that's what some of the girls thought about it. After some initial talks about where everyone was headed and both mina and Toru being the instigators that they were their small group of four turned into a massive group of nine and given the individuals of the group and their peculiarities with how all of them essentially were not very normally looking in one way or another the tall behemoth that was with them didn't gain nearly as much scrutiny as what they would assume if it was just the four of them along together but that didn't stop her from getting looks sent her way but an likely unintended plus's of what aedes was wearing which was a large apron of some kind with her food stand's name on it under the small squid logo was that her entire aesthetic was just a way of advertising for her stand some other stands had them as well and they were called "booth babes." attractive females that would stand near something to attract more people and that was actually a perfect scapegoat to explain the women and would explain the extra large prosthetics she was wearing although people would sometimes question why she had an mosquito theme verse an octopus theme of the stand to which they made up a lie stating that it would take up too much room to save face.
Mina and Toru teased if koda and the rest of the guys found Aedes attractive and Tokoyami refuse to comment much of anything even despite having been drinking as they traveled it seemed that the other two more quiet teens became loose lips as the drinks flowed as both koda and Shoji remarked that she indeed was, along with Kirishima and Ojiro although they did so more secretly simply pointing out that others did as well and they weren't an exception to that. Both boys took lashing from both Mina and Toru for admitting so, aedes didn't let the praise go to her head completely although she did want to bask in the praise of "lower lifeforms" she did tease koda a bit more than the others about it. The group quickly got caught up in all the festivities playing a multitude of games and trying out the number of foods that they saw around them. All of it was either familiar or strange to them. things like takoyaki, yakitori, and okonomiyaki were familiar at least enough to where they were from things like corn dogs, meat pies, and kebabs were new to them but they were more than willing to taste test almost anything people were offering and some stands even gave out free samples so they don't have to waste much money which also meant buying things for Aedes since she didn't have any money on her so she had to be paid for although she was a very picky eater on so she didn't really like much but she absolutely hated veggies which made since she was a suped up queen mosquito so meat was definitely more up her alley and it seemed the rawer the better. The group played a few games here and the group was surprised by how little Aedes knew about many of anything meaning she had to be taught about all of the games and how they worked she explained that she was by all intensive purposes just a kid in the world, she held knowledge of something but she never experienced it so she mostly just forgot about it, when they asked what she did when she first chance out she so simply and matter of factly said that she slaughter a town of people before being approached by some cyborg and some bald weirdo.
now that definitely put a damper on the mood and despite the girl saying that she wasn't like that anymore the class was still a little more amphresnivse especially Tokoyami who again reiterated her connections asking if she was a part of the house of Evolution when she confirmed to be so, he said nothing more but remarked that they would like to speak to her and dr. Genus at a later time. When the girl clearly jokingly said that what made him so sure that she would do that dark shadow quickly projected itself and wrapped the girl in a suffocating hold before disclosing that, he wasn't giving her a choice and that she should be glad that he didn't call zombieman at that moment. Dark Shadow was scared off by Toru creating a brief flash of light and before anything else could happen the group quickly attempted to carry on after asking Tokoyami to apologize he begrudgingly did so before excusing himself from the situation. Aedes surprisingly let the transgression go on account that she was having some fun with her time out and that she doesn't get the opportunity often anymore so the group of them continued to play games with each other although given her prosthetics she didn't have much chance of winning many of the prizes although Shoji would help her out with his quirk instead to balances out her chances.
Toru took tokoyami's leaving as an opportunity to put her plan into motion, ojiro had been getting some drinks into him and he noticeably was much looser so she excused the two of them in an attempt to go to a photo booth they would catch up with them later. They took a few pictures and enjoyed themselves before toru got ojiro attention.
"Hey ojiro do want to do something super fun?" toru asked
"Sure, what do you have in mind?" ojiro questioned.
"It involves removing our clothes." toru remarked and ojiro's face twisted for a moment but it wasn't a complete refusal that he would normally have done so the girl saw it as a win.
"Come on it's just us in here, come on..you already saw me naked right? It's only fair that I get to see you." toru said, ojiro a brief pause as he contemplated it before doing a very hesitant nod, and she gestured for him to get naked first and he did so down to his boxers before gesturing for it to be her turn, she did so as well before passing the torch back to him and toru was a bit stunned by what she saw not executing that from him but she continued on answering the challenge and the two of them sat their naked, they took three pictures when even tipsy ojiro finally let the embarrassment overcame him but when he went to go put his clothes back on he was surprised to find it gone before toru told him holding his clothes they were about to do something super duper fun as she opened the door to the booth revealing themselves to the rest of the festival.
Midoriya, Uraraka, Iida, Tsu, Todoroki, Momo, Tokoyami
Midoriya had went out into the festival with some of his closest friends along with vice president, now both and Iida both advice that he shouldn't be drinking much without having something to eat or drink but Midoriya purposely ignored their advice and decided to live a little and a result of that was that he was certainly a little inebriated as the group of them continued on, as result of this was he was much more bolder than he was naturally calling Uraraka, ochako the entire time making the girl blush in embarrassment the entire time he said which was a lot because he was also cozying up to her a lot during the time as well, the group watched midoirya's actions with a silent sadness beneath all of their interactions they could imagine what the boy must have been thinking about given everything that happening in their world and to be honest some of the others were feeling like doing the same thing the celebration was one for morning so it would be the perfect opportunity to just let themselves go and give in to the festivities. Momo and Uraraka joined and followed in Midoriya's footsteps and had fun drinking the rest of their gold stars rather quickly while they walked around and even some of the bonus stars that they gathers the other three that accompanied them were more so their caretakers and made sure that they didn't go overboard or in some instances use their quirks accidentally on objects like Uraraka who was doing a test your might machine and nearly threw the hammer into orbit or Momo which nearly cheated her way into winning a prize.
The group all ate and laughed around the festival before Midoriya had suddenly stop very rapidly and grabbed at his head and looked upwards everyone followed the same to see what the boy may have been looking at and to those that could see in the night very well could see that Tokoyami had flown over their heads heading in some direction. Tsu said that she would go check up on him given that the others were a little too drunk about it and she would catch them later. Tsu followed after the flying dark teen using her natural night vision he was flying as fast as he could while trying to be discrete and he was a little wonky going up and down as if he was trying to stabilize himself at any other time it might have been cute but now she didn't know, she fell behind as she needed to mind where she hopped to ensure she didn't accidentally land on anybody but she was still able to keep him in her sights as she traveled and once she finally escape where all the people were, she was really able to cut loose and jump with all her strength but it seemed that she never got any closer until Tokoyami just started to drop down from the sky at a fairly fast pace as well she was sort of worried for her friend but as he touched the ground he exploded in cloud of darkness as dark shadow was released almost in full but what worried her and stop her in her tracks was that she could see from the distance that dark shadows eyes were completely red again which meant that Tokoyami wasn't in control.
Maybe that was the reason he decided to travel pretty far away from the event so he didn't hurt anybody but that didn't mean he was completely out of the clear as a sudden number of small drones made by metal knight started to surround him likely thinking it was a monster of some kind. they had started to attack him which only made dark shadow angry and lash out in retaliation destroying three of them in response only causing the situation to escalate even more she attempted to grab one of the drones and try and call them off and surprisingly they listened back away from dark shadow was metal night listening in? She thought and she was correct as the man spoke through one of the drones and that Tokoyami was close to one of this nodes and he didn't want it damage so either she did something or but before he could talk more a sudden scream caught tsu attention dark shadow had apparently took note of her presence and thought that she was controlling the drones given that she was talking to one of them.
At first tsu hoped that similar to last time that dark shadow eyes would turn orange and he would calm down again but that didn't seem likely this time as she summoned the power of Beelzebufo growing to nearly 14 meters tall and extending her hands out to catch the claws that dark shadow had thrusted at her and while she was able to catch the attack and nearly being the same size as the shadow creature it was still much stronger than she was as she soon found her arms wrapped in a veil of shadow binds and she was lifted off her feet and dragged along the ground scraping along before being picked up and done again and again three times before it threw her and charged at her again, tsu thinking of it's only weakness channeled the power of the red-eyed tree frog and opened her eyes at the charging black quirk, as it opened a flash of red light came out of her eyes like a spot light scaring the creature and causing it to retreat back a bit but not only that she saw a white light surge through him and escape out wards it came towards her and slowly enshrouded her and the light had turned out to be shinning light herself as she found herself clad in ornate golden armor.
She heard the opposite quirk ring out in her head saying that she will help calm him down and together they clashed against the rampaging dark shadow this time their strength was a slightly more equal match she could hold her own along with progressively weakening it with her and shining light, lights combined the final blow came in the form of assistance from metal knights drones that from watching the two fight learned of the shadow creatures weakness and all together shined a massive light on the creature that completely diminished it to its normal form which escaped back inside of the down Tokoyami which still had his mask on. Tsu thanked metal night for the help ad told him she could handle the situation from here the drone that surrounded them slowly started to recede back into their small holes away from sight, tsu also thanked shining light for her help and the quirk remarked how it wasn't only her that wanted to help out Tokoyami did as well and that he didn't mean to hurt her and tsu believed it as the armor dissipated from her back into white light and slowly made its way back to the downed Tokoyami which upon becoming one with him again he started to nudge himself awake. First looking around himself before looking at tsu which approached him and almost immediately backed off from the girl like she was a villain so she stopped.
"Tsu…why are you…are you ok? Did I" Tokoyami asked first even though that was supposed to be her line.
"No, I'm fine but are you okay? Ribbit." Tsu shook her head before she returned the question to him, his mask was still on so she couldn't see his face but she can only imagine that something was bothering the teen given what just happened, there was a moment of silence before Tokoyami replied it was short and fast and attempted to quickly move on.
"I'm fine, let's head back." Tokoyami said as he was about to start walking away from her, he almost seemed angry with her given his tone of voice but maybe it was the alcohol in her system or dark shadow little rampage but she was going to be a bit more combative.
"Tokoyami respectfully you know that's not ." Tsu remarked, stopping the boy in his tracks as he turned back to look at her but again as she approached he stepped back so she stopped a couple of feet away.
"I thought we were just lying to each other." Tokoyami commented again with a low snarky undertone
"What?" Tsu asked, confused.
"I know what dark shadow did, he hurt you …I hurt you." Tokoyami remarked simply.
"Tokoyami…" Tsu said taking a step which was again answered by a step backward from Tokoyami.
"Look, there was a minor fight but I'm fine. Ribbit."tsu explained
"By chance." Tokoyami responded simply.
"No you helped me Tokoyami, shining light helped me out and despite being out of control dark shadow still went easy on me. I've seen you when you are at your strongest and that wasn't it." tsu tried to ease the most likely self-loathing the dark teen was experiencing. At that moment there was another moment of silence as Tokoyami seemed to be contemplating with dark shadow if what she said was true or not.
"Look Tokoyami, I don't know what's wrong but I'm here to listen if you need me. Ribbit," Tsu said and she took a hesitant step forward she was about to take another but when she saw the dark teen noticeably flinch she retracted and stayed in place.
"Is it about what happened to sigismund?" tsu asked, there was a light hesitant nod. Signifying that it was about something else as well and she could liken a few guesses.
"Is it also about back home? Ribbit" Tsu asked again and there was another nod.
"Well I'm here to listen Tokoyami, you don't have to just keep it to yourself. We were all worried after what Midoriya said." tsu explained.
"Talking about it won't change anything." Tokoyami remarked simply.
"Maybe not physically but mentally it can. Ribbit." Tsu replied and there was another moment of silence before Tokoyami started to turn and walk again but he changed his direction instead walking towards the hole that was near the association headquarters and sitting down as his legs hung down over the edge, she took that as a sign that he was willing to talk so she approached as well although she kept her space just in case the boy was still uncomfortable with her being close to him. She stared down at the waters below waiting for or when Tokoyami felt comfortable enough to speak.
"I had nightmares when I first arrived here, not just me but Shoji and koda as well….because of us, because of how we look we had to go into hiding and fight off heroes of this world. It got us thinking of this world and how it was a perversion of our own but how long will that last when heteromorphs are making such stupid decisions? " Tokoyami explained.
"Ribbit…..you can't really think that heteromorphs would end up like the monsters of this world..ribbit." tsu said with a gasp.
"Not quite the same but not much better…all the heteromorphs that join all for one and spinner will only serve to divide us from other more "normal" people, you say that it's unlikely but it was already happening people were segregating themselves from heteromorphs preventing them from shelters, attacking them on the street for just being "scary" looking…which all fuels that divide further. That divide leads to conflict and fighting and when your side is backed by the evil myth of japan it's only a matter of time before people will start labeling them evil as well. If they hadn't already." Tokoyami remarked before adding on the last bit with a bit more anger which was immediately contrasted by his slight laugh making asui look his way although she couldn't see his face she knew that he was hurting.
"Heh, who am I to pass judgment, I won't lie and say that I didn't feel any joy when Spinner announced that he killed a conclave of the creature rejection clan, does that make me a bad person?" Tokoyami asked.
"I don't think so Tokoyami and I'm sure the others would understand as well. I think I've heard of that group. They even had one for people like me. It is natural for someone to feel at least some happiness when people who are prejudiced against them get their comeuppance. And I'd like to think that people can see that all for one scheme before they target the people underneath him. ribbit" tsu commented as she discreetly slid a little closer to him.
"I guess it's a matter of what they are willing to do for Spinner and how the heroes and police respond and how it escalates but I guess you could say I'm a bit of a pessimist in that regard," Tokoyami commented before a silence took over again, she didn't know where else they could take this topic without just throwing hypotheticals into the air so she switched the topic to the world they were currently on.
"And sigismund? Do you feel responsible for his death? Ribbit." Tsu asked Tokoyami's helmeted head to turn towards her before looking away again.
"Maybe." Tokoyami responded simply.
"Is this about what Eris said? You know she was just trying to get under your skin. Ribbit." Tsu said and Tokoyami thought about arguing the point about the body being fairly hot or fresh but decided not to because he wasn't that experienced in that other than zombieman telling him a few things here and there.
"Maybe .. but maybe she was telling the truth and I could have been there and saved him if I just hadn't let my emotions control me an-"
"I think you should stop right there before you say something you regret. You came to see if I was okay and I thank you for that. You shouldn't feel bad that you followed your emotions in that situation. Ribbit." Tsu commented while again sliding a bit closer she had believed that she was being discrete but when dark shadow emerged from the side of him and filled the space between them with just a small barrier she guessed not, the shadow creature had said nothing to her and also refused to touch her even now.
"I guess in that instance you are correct…but the same can't be said for what I did after. I gave the monsters another powerful ally due to my emotions." Tokoyami commented.
"You couldn't have thought something like that was even possible, you can't blame yourself for that." Tsu said and she scooted closer as she saw dark shadow visibly retract.
"I shouldn't have started killing in the first place. It shouldn't have happened in the first place." Tokoyami responded simply.
"Well …maybe not anymore, you saw what the monsters did and we know what they plan on doing. This won't end until one side kills the other no one blames you for what you did. Ribbit." tsu replied moving closer as dark shadow retracted anymore. She was nearly within touching distance of the teen.
"Tokoyami…you know I'm not scared of you, right? Ribbit." Tsu said after a sigh, making the dark teen look at her with his helmet on.
"Maybe you should be." Tokoyami said simply and Tsu took an effort to slide even closer, dark shadow still didn't want to touch her so she wasn't denied progress as she sat right next to him.
"No, I shouldn't….I know what happened in U-City. I asked Toru and Momo about it and I still am not afraid of you. I saw what eris turned into when you killed her and I'm still not afraid of you even after what just happened...I'm still not afraid of you….Tokoyami you like me right? Ribbit." Tsu said, turning to look at the boy's helmet, she reached a hand slowly out and tapped the button freeing him and allowing her to see his face, his feathers were down showing his unease.
"I do." Tokoyami replied finally after looking at the girl for a moment.
"I like you too." Tsu remarked before leaning in and kissing him on the beak, his feathers picked up at the sensation it felt nice to him but he was still cautious. Visions started to race in each of their minds.

Both tokoyami and tsu both started to see visions of some kind. The overall theme of both were the same it was the two of them together the first vision was them flying overhead together in the dark, Asui was clad in shining light while tokoyami flew with dark shadow under the cover of the moon they had both flown down into the hole under the hero headquarters and shared a kiss there. The second vision seemed to be about the festival the two were walking side by side in a fake forest the moon was ahead of them and again they shared a kiss but something else was there more like someone else as another "tsu" had popped up in front of them which revealed itself to be Sigismund himself along with.

Tokoyami quickly swiped his face away from the girl, his feathers partially flaring out in agitation.
"I don't need any pity love asui." Tokoyami remarked sharply, the girl was noticeably put off by the accusation and slapped him, dark shadow emerged from behind him just in case she was going to hit him again but there was no need she had his attention front and center.
"Tokoyami you know for a fact that isn't me….you saw those visions too, didn't you? I do like you." asui remarked with a determined gaze.
"Ye…yes…I'm sorry for the accusation but…on top of the danger being with me doesn't seem like it would be a very traditional relationship." tokoyami spoke as he ran a hand over his beak looking away again but tsu brought his face right back with her hand staring him directly in the face.
"I already told you that I'm not scared of you ..now open your beak. ribbit" tsu said in a demanding tone and Tokoyami hesitantly followed her instructions but he was not prepared for when Asui's tongue shot straight out of her mouth and into his own, he was so taken off guard that he fell backward but asui didn't let him off the hook that easily as she used it as an opportunity to climb on top of him. Her tongue in his mouth was a blissful feeling, heavenly he would even say and as the girl slightly pulled away to speak again he missed it very much.
"And I don't care about traditional relationship stuff, I like weird things so don't be worried about that and….don't be worried about touching me alright?" Tsu remarked before stuffing her tongue back into his beak while taking his hands and moving them on her body on her waist but she urged that he could move it higher or lower if he wanted to and asui did the same to him tracing her hands along his body his muscles, shoulder and even lower down his waist. They stayed like that for a few moments making out and caressing each other but tsu did pull back one more time to say something else.
"The only thing I want from you is to call me tsu or even Tsuyu if you like. Ribit?" tsu stated
"Ri-rigth I'll refer to you by that from now on, Tsuyu." tokoyami remarked with a smile and tsu returned it in kind before they continued their passionate session together. Dark Shadow enshrouded the both of them in the meanwhile to keep out prying eyes if there were any other than the one that dark shadow went to address personally, midoriya had arrived sometime early after the fighting was done to see if everything was ok, dark shadow said that everything was ok now and that he could go and midoirya nodded while taking his leave and returning back to the festival.
Everyone
As the festival started to come to a close everyone started to come back towards their tent and meet up again, everyone was more or less completely fine physically at least although each in a ranging sense of lightheaded, tipsy, or flat-out drunk the most sober of them of course was Todoroki and Iida. Iida while partaking somewhat in drinking using all of his stars was in charge of everyone's electronics to ensure nothing was lost or misplaced, Todoroki simply didn't particularly like alcohol very much no matter what he tried after the fifth attempt he just stopped altogether although he did finish each drink he got completely not to be rude, jiro was the third most sober and after that was Midoriya and Uraraka, after them however the class tended to go to a range from tipsy and just plain drunk thankfully they didn't use their quirks too much during their stupor so the damage was kept to a minimum. Aedes and silver chain both bid their farewells, which made Bakugo even more grumpy as he slammed down his drink as the girl left causing more teasing remarks to ring out, although the outburst they received was rather small in comparison to how he normally was, the class had all run out of stars so they didn't have a way to get any more alcohol so Momo just decided to create more for them, this obviously didn't sit well with Iida given the unlawful use of her abilities but the class had a vote and it was in unanimous agreement that it be allowed so he let it slide for the first bottle, the second bottle she created was in "celebration" for completely Bakugo's goal everyone in the class as he asked of them had achieved a class higher.

It was an achievement and everyone celebrated but it was when the third bottle was spawned that the more sober individuals started to intervene and put their foot down. Todoroki took it upon himself to take Momo outside and away behind the tent while the others attempted to calm down the more reckless individuals on the inside.
"Yaoyorozu are you alrig-" Todoroki was suddenly cut off as he found his mouth occupied as the girl in question mashed her lips onto his, Todoroki froze up on the spot not even sure what was transpiring and why he felt so awful. It was strange because usually when he felt Yaoyorozu touch or lips on his skin it felt heavenly and made him incredibly happy but now at that moment Momo was doing whatever she was to him because describing it as a kiss was being generous to the highest degree, he raised his hands and pressed them against her shoulder and lightly applied force to hint that she should stop essentially just attacking his face with her lips but that seemed to only increase her aggression on him so he gently but firmly pushed her off of him and step back to give him so more space from the girl, before dropping the temperature on his face and getting all of the salivae off as it froze and then fell.
"Oh~ come…on shoto~ you and I both know we like each other. Why are you fighting it? " Momo remarked so brazenly, hearing his name from the girl's lips should have made him happy but instead he felt saddened while what she said was likely true he definitely didn't think the confession should be like this so he opted to ignore what she said and continue on what he was about to say.
"Yaoyorozu, are you doing ok?" Todoroki asked.
" Ok? I feel fantastic! " the girl said, throwing both of her hands into the air and shaking them but the intent of the movement was more to get her breast moving most likely to draw his eye but it had the opposite effect as he looked away.
"Are you sure? You're using your powers rather irresponsibly." Todoroki commented and the girl looked at him confused.
"Oh prey tell me what do you mean?" Momo asked.
"Well using your powers like you are is against the law and aren't you afraid of the econom-"
"What laws? Did you forget my little roki …we aren't in our world anymore..meaning there are no longer laws that bind me or any of us we can do whatever we want!.. As long as we don't hurt anyone of course." Momo stated as to emphasize her point she started to conjure a bunch of objects which included money, objects, alcohol, silverware, and even food. Thankfully it was the conjure ability likely due to her not having the mental capacity or better just not feeling like thinking too hard just to make a point. What did surprise him was that the nesting dolls that fell out of her were in his image, but Todoroki ignored that for now.
"Yaoyorozu you need to get a hold of yourself, this isn't you." Todoroki said as he looked at her with pity.
" So? I want to make the best of the day and ensure that midnight death wasn't in vain." Momo said suddenly and a feeling of realization dawned on his face as Momo's face turned from one of joy to one of anger and extreme sadness as tears brushed at her eyes.
"I mean she sacrificed her life to ensure that we would take that monster down we did …we did it! Right! only after it continued to injure and kill so many more people but it was a success right we won! We saved the day! But now that monster is free again! So what was it for? What was her sacrifice for? What were all the deaths for? If he is able to cause it all over again." Momo asked bitterly, getting louder and louder as she spoke, the tears pricking her eyes and falling down, Todoroki moved towards her and wrapped his arms around her in an embrace and she completely crumpled down and he followed along with her as he laid down, and let the girl cry on his chest.
"Why didn't they just kill it? There was no use for it, there was no reforming it, what did we get from keeping it alive, who would have honestly complained about human rights violations my ass. No one likely in the entire world would have opposed them eliminating such a threat" Momo said and Todoroki was completely floored that the girl actually cursed, he didn't know what else he could do but hold her but he had seen something others have done and decided to give it a try as he tentatively pick up his hand and ran it through her long black hair it was incredibly soft and he believed that he felt the girl get somewhat more relaxed on his chest as her cries began to slow down.
"I don't disagree with you but I don't think midnight would want you to drown your sorrows like this…well not until you're at least 20." Todoroki said and then thought about their teacher and added on the last bit and despite herself the girl slightly chuckled at that.
"Well if we're talking about how she would have liked for us to mourn her I'm sure that she would have liked for us to send her out with a bang~" Momo was saying before she sultry whispering in his ear and Todoroki felt as her hand slowly started to cascade down his chest to his stomach and as he felt it go down past his waist he instantly reacted almost on instinct freezing Momo over almost completely, this action completely snapped Momo from her drunken stupor very quickly.
"To-todoro-ki….wha-what-why?" Momo said through frosted breath and chattering teeth, Todoroki could not speak he did not speak as he quickly removed himself from under Momo before standing her up and dethawing her all without saying much of anything to the girl, he asked if she was equally temperature and that was it after that he turned away and headed back inside not looking at her all the while as she trailed behind him the class for their efforts were all calm and quiet as the two reentered they didn't say anything or do much of anything but Todoroki quickly put himself away from Momo for the rest of the night. The class got everything to gather and went home being part of the setup crew meant that they didn't have to deal with clean-up which was good because the class was in no position to help out so they just headed home

Month 4: Week 1
As the class finally made it home, Iida gave everyone back their phones one by one and ensured that everyone made it to their rooms as well as gave everyone headache medicine for the inevitable problems that people will experience in the morning before heading off to sleep himself. Most of the class were content with staying in their rooms except for three, Mina had just finished getting out of the shower and putting on her pajamas before checking her phone for anything new she didn't expect to have any messages given that she was with her class all day and …..that her only other friend she had here was dead but she was surprised that she in fact held a message from Kirishima that came from him 3 hours prior the message was a confession…it was that he liked her more than just as a friend and her heart swooned at that, she didn't know when she had approached his door and she didn't or couldn't stop herself when the redhead had actually opened the door and she showed him his text but before he could say anything about it she latched her lips onto his and the quickness drove them both back into his room where the door closed behind him but that didn't matter as she didn't leave for the night.
Uraraka had been having fun with her boyfriend the entire night they had free but she could always tell that there was a hidden sadness underneath like he was just putting on a facade and it always made her hurt to look at that pretend smile he wore that changed when he started to drink and likely did forget about his worries and the genuine smile came back but when Tokoyami had flew overhead and his danger sense flared for the second time especially after he returned to from checking in on them, that fake smile returned and she had no clue on how to get rid of it and it always made her feel pretty bad that she couldn't be there for him but she came up with an idea and she had approached his room, when he opened the door the green boy was shocked to see that she was only in her undergarments and laid under a partially see through nightgown she couldn't properly judge his reaction due to him suddenly pulling her into his room as the two of them heard another door unlock and begin to open.
Momo began to walk down the hallway towards the boys half of the second floor, the more she had sobered up the more and more she could remember doing during the night and feeling embarrassed about herself and actions but nothing compared to what she did just before she left the event with Todoroki, she got so flushed, embarrassed, and…a bit excited just thinking about the encounter but she needed to make it right, what she did was fairly awful and she wouldn't feel right if she didn't apologize immediately and to ensure no misunderstandings on her part she dressed up super conservatively wearing a turtleneck along with a large jacket, baggy pants boots and anything and everything she could to essentially hide her body the best she could and knocked on the boy's door. He answered and despite all the precautions, the boy was still hesitant once he realized she was the one there.
"Todoroki….I'm here to um apologize for my actions previously .. while inebriated I still find it as no excuse to act the way I did, I hope you please find it in your heart to forgive me for my transgressions." Momo asked, bowing her head down and waiting for his response, there was a brief pause before Todoroki responded.
"It's fine Yaoyorozu… I don't blame you or hate you for anything that you did... It's understandable since we're all under a lot of stress lately, especially after what Midoriya told us.'' Todoroki responded simply and Momo's smile slighted at that before letting out a large sigh.
"Yes..that was troubling news…Todoroki…do you think we could change anything when we go back?" Momo asked and Todoroki took a moment to process that question.
"I don't know…I'd like to think anything is possible…the only thing we can do now is to ensure that we are fully prepared to face anything once we get back." Todoroki explained slowly and Momo slowly nodded her head at that before thinking about her power and what drive Knight and everyone was telling her about how powerful it was then thinking about that organization and its capabilities it was at that moment she knew what she had to do.
"Right….your right as always Todoroki…we need to be fully ready to face the threats back home…so umm to that end during this month I'll be with some other party than drive knight and the hero association," Momo said and Todoroki cocked an eyebrow at that.
"Is this other party safe?" Todoroki questioned.
"I think so, if things go smoothly then I'll have a lot more faith in our chances when heading home." Momo explained and Todoroki gave her a hard look.
"As I've said before I trust you Yaoyorozu, so if you think this will help you or everyone then I'll leave it up to you." Todoroki stated.
"Thank you Todoroki…..um I guess I'll let you sleep then…have a good night's rest." Momo said before walking away she wanted to kiss his cheek again but given what just happened she felt it would be inappropriate so she simply bowed again before walking away but a few strides later she was stopped by Todoroki's voice.
"Umm Yaoyor- umm mo-mo, I know that given the night events, this may sound weird but umm…if what you said previously was true then umm…I would like to ask you out someday…it may sound bad since I already know your feelings but I don't feel like today would be an appropriate time." Todoroki stated Momo was stunned by the half-confession she guessed and the fact that he said her name but she guessed that was just him returning the favor for her early oh god thinking about it she called him "my little roki" She felt so embarrassed all over again.
"Umm…that's …that's fine Todoroki…I can wait for you." Momo said simply and she saw a wave of relief wash over his body he nodded before wishing her a good night as well as he turned in and Momo did the same although it was hard given her excitement it was rather hard for her. The class all enjoyed a rather pleasant night's rest some more than others.
Yes, I know Misquto girl is canonically dead but I need her for stuff since some monkey died before Zomebiamn could tail him, the dreams nightmares that tokoyami was referring to was actually how I originally planned for the script to go before all the blast stuff from the manga happened. the teens were mostly going to be scaping by and baking the generosity of the other heroes mainly those like mumen rider, saitama, and maybe CE or pig god
while the voting isn't going to be out until next month I'll list off the choices now so people can get an idea of their choices

Even if the Neutral path is skipped again it's still potentially canon to CAMA(more on this later), CAMA is the class from this fic, going through the multiverse so technically anything for it would be pseudo-sequel. I'll save the complete list for later but the stories for CAMA include; Avatar, overlord, and attack on titan along with a few others.
