Surface Battle: Hero Association Army, Neo Leaders, The Mutants + (Bang, Bomb, Fubuki)
The large group of heroes continued toward the large gate given their numbers, they elected to just tear the entire large fencing down as they moved across the largely abandoned railway. They continued into the town proper noticing the cracked streets and buildings some of the heroes murmured to each other about how this was essentially them taking this part of Z-city back and in truth, Child emperor didn't think that would be such a bad idea, he was sure the hero association would also phrase it like that when everything was over with and settled. The child hero took a glance around all of the S-class heroes was standing in the front of the formation leading the way which ran counter-intuitive to them actually staying back and conserving strength for the underground battle but he guessed their ego wouldn't allow them to sit in the back and if he were being honest with himself he was no exception to that as he joined right alongside them front and center but maybe that was just his self-consciousness playing tricks on him again, he was under a lot of pressure given that almost the entirety of the attack was put on his shoulders this was his moment to prove not only to himself but all of his nay-sayers despite his accomplishments he was still regarded with skepticism among those out of his general vicinity of partners no one believed that a "kid" could do what he did and that he was just taking credit for someone else's accomplishments most people looked at his age instead of his actual ability which always ground his gears and it was even worst when the monster invasion concluded. The association may have come to him but he knew that it was likely after they had already approached metal knight for his services so he was just the best runner-up choice.
He did a courtesy glance along the line of S-class heroes present and noticed that Mr. King had mysteriously disappeared, he questioned it and one of the other heroes assigned to his unit, he believed Gearsper, had told him that the man was going to go his own route and that he will be in the assigned location and that everyone should stick to the original plan. It wasn't surprising for him, he knew that the S-class heroes were some of the biggest loners in the association and almost afraid of working together unless the circumstances were dire and really called for it, he was honestly surprised that metal bat hadn't just run off and try to fight something by himself but at least he stayed with him, but the fact that king didn't bit at him, did that mean he still thought of him as a child? Or was he going to personally check up on the tip by the mutants involving the child? The news of king's absence quickly began to spread amongst the large group all with their own take on the man's actions the argument of efficiency was raised by one of them, he pondered the idea of him going to the supposed designation offered up by the mutants and clearing it out himself. If their source was wrong, then he was confident that he could beat any traps they would have set up and he would help Flash and his forces in that case….but if it turned out the information was legit then he could evacuate the kid and then it would just be a monster extermination quest…he would need to apologize to the mutants for not believing them but overall it wouldn't really matter as long as things went smoothly.
It was Tastsumaki who wanted everyone to quit the idle chatter as several bangs resounded from up ahead of them Child emperor and several of the S-class were about to react quickly before any of the projectiles actually made it their way, they were all stopped in mid-air by tatsumkai, Child emperor noted what was shot there was a combination of shrapnel, bullets, and cannon balls, and even minture monsters themselves that wiggled around in mid air , it was one of the group leaders one shotter that had quickly unhooked the sniper rifle from around his back and started to peer through its scope he remarked that they were essentially walking down a shooting gallery as he saw multiple ranged monster with weapons aimed down their way, he fired off his rifle five times shooting and killing five monsters leaving two cannons unoperated however those were quickly replaced by others and not only that they started to switch positions moving from where the two were initially set up, he fired five more times but had to reload allowing the other monster the ability to move cannons from where he couldn't spot them anymore, he sucked his teeth before tatsumkai asked if he was "done" before reutning the fire sent their way initially multiple of the buildings that housed the monster splinter and one even collapsed from a nasty explosion that erupted in flame, he grumbled that it took her long enough but when the girl turned to him he shrank even further back behind others but everyone steered clear of the individual making her never break line of sight with the individual until Child emperor took the girls attention away.
"Thank you miss Tastsumaki for the save there, the monster must know that we lack many ranged members and are hoping to whittle us down before engaging us directly " Child emperor deduced.
"That was just a freebee, you only get three more!" tatsumkai said seriously and then loudly yelled so that the entire group could hear her.
"What do you mean Tatsumaki? Why can't you protect us until the very end or at least until we close distance? This is a very crucial moment you're deciding to be difficult." sekingar boldly remarked.
"Where does it say that I have to protect you lot? If you can't find a solution to the problem you can go back to the base right now." tatsumkai remarked simply crossing her arms.
"Tatsumaki, you can't be serious?" sekingar said in disbelief.
"What are you scared, your not gonna have anything left in the tank for your big fight with that other psychic. And you were talking all big in the meeting to..hey!" metal bat remarked before he found himself lifted up.
"Hmph Oh I'll help you alright! Have fun!" tatsumkai said as she hurled metal bat down the pathway but the hard-headed teen was fully pumped and ready for it.
"Hah! Sure I'm game!… I hate punks that just try to stay at range anyways, I'll take care of everything so you don't have to worry about it!" metal bat screamed as he was flung forwards, Tatsumaki powerd flared at the teen taunts as she continued to watch the man sail forward.
"Please tatsumkai, you need to take this seriously..metal bat could end up really hurt being surrounded by monsters over there." Child emperor tried to say.
"He doesn't seem to be complaining….you all have three chances..so hurry up after that I'm not protecting you idiots anymore." tatsumkai said simply, Child emperor was shocked at that statement but quickly shook it off and formalized everyone from a slow walk into a fast jog each heading towards metal bats new position up ahead.
Ironically Tatsumaki's impromptu projectile of metal bat actually did wonders in disputing the monster plan at least partially compared to the initial volley the subsequent volleys were definitely less dense no doubt due to the disturbance and attention that metal bat was causing, they were also a surprising turn of return fire from one shotter, tank top master, gas mask cowboy, tank cop, and golden ball. Which laid out enough return fire to kill some of the attackers that were still focused on them, by the time they had reached metal bat over three dozen monster corpses littered the ground and the man himself was mostly spotless only having blood on his bat and a small rip in his baggy pants.
He smiled smugly at Tatsumaki and commented on what took her so long to arrive but the glowing green girl just ignored him pushing past him but he didn't take offense and only chuckled before the group continued to push forward but it wasn't long since the monster began their attack again this time it was even stranger as the pathway they were just walking from suddenly became blocked several buildings themselves moving and levitating out and crashing down behind them and out of the building windows and very walls started to come out several monsters dozens of them and simultaneously even more monster started to come from their front as well almost like a hoard of them. This time the monsters were going in for close quaters combat it seemed and the heroes were eager to greet all of them, sekingar and Child emperor kept the orders simple and told groups 1-5 to handle the front while groups 6-10 to handle the back and they followed excellently charging forwards towards the monsters without fear leaving the S-class to sit back and watch the fighting.
The majority of the heroes present were of the level of B-class or higher, there had been a few C-class heroes scattered about the mix but they had shown resilience in large fighting so far, sweet mask took notice of one of the individuals being the A-class hero feather and his rumored martial arts that defied gravity as he slashed and shredded the head of multiple monsters, Flash took notice of a certain individual only for the fact that they had used ninjutsu, he asked the person about it and he immediately lost interest upon her reply there was no female ninja in his village he believed that it was actually prohibited in that fact so he just dropped the subject although he could question her about that other female ninja although he was likely already going to have a discussion about that person later and he doubted talking to this one would prove useful.
"They're all handling the situation pretty well. we shouldn't have much to fear with monsters escaping outwards to the city proper" Child emperor said sucking on a lollipop.
"But of course, these are A-class heroes after all, they would have been the top-ranked heroes without the S-class but even the B and few C-class are also performing well, capable fighter isn't just reserved to the top rank it seems." sekingar remarked simply as he waited along with the S-class heroes looking at the slaughter.
Two B-class heroes double hole and needle star combined their techniques together to shoot his spiky ball forwards puncturing through multiple monsters at one time and killing them instantly as the spikey ball came back out, the tank top army wanted to make up for the failure in apprehending garou so they all had gone under some intense training for this very moment and wanted to show off the fruits of their labor, they took the monsters head on crushing their bodies, breaking bones, and snapping necks as they did so, the shinning prodigies not only wanted revenge for their killed and injured members but on top of that wanted to show Darkshine the power of their muscles but the S-class hero was hardly paying attention to most of the fighting he was more concerned about looking out for any of the monster cadres he didn't want to go on the mission with such powerful monster present that dog and that girl were…scary he didn't know if he could beat either of them and that made him afraid but if he just stayed clear of them then hopefully everything would just be fine..right? He thought as he simply scanned along the monster present but he could not see any that matched the one he saw in the images so he breathe a sigh of relief..he felt something on the side of his head like a mosquito bite of some kind as he felt it and scraped it away he opened his hand and noticed what seemed to be a flatten metal object of some kind? Did something fall off a building he thought as he continued to peer around his surroundings.
The sniper monster was in shock, even with the modification she made using the dumb mutant brats rifle he still couldn't even make a dent in the large man, she had aimed for the largest target first his position unlike the other shooters 3 miles from where the fighting was taking place he wasn't the only one this far back five others were scattered about an equal distance away as she was but the main monster force was just a distraction so that his sniper squads can take them out one by one from somewhere that they couldn't reach however she was surprised when one of her snipers had been taken out by a sniper of the heroes own, she called for a full reposition just in case her other teammates were spotted as well, upon finding her new position she readied her sniper and aimed the goal was to kill or injure any targets they could even if that meant incurring friendly casualties or wounds, it would be a good sacrifice they outnumbered them so they could afford the losses if it meant injuring or killing some of enemy. As she finally observed the battle the monsters were still on the losing side. she guessed numbers didn't mean much in the face of just better quality soldiers that could take on 5 to 10 of them and the S-class heroes weren't even fighting adding insult to injury. The monster scanned the chaotic field of battle choosing a new target she wanted to see if she could get a cheeky kill on the S-class for being so cocky in just standing there but apparently, they could afford that, she should just stick to the original plan and leave the S-class to the cadre like Gyoro-Gyoro said before locking in on one hero, in particular, this one was a weird human being with plants growing out his body that he used to wrap the surrounding monsters up allowing his compatriots to cut them down but it also served to his detriment as he couldn't move very well or maybe even at all making him be an easy target for her attack.
she set his sights on that one and waited for the others to confirm their targets, the sniper on their side had been hiding behind Darkshine his rifle seemed to have jammed going by his rapid movements around the weapon in his hands. So they shouldn't expect any counter fire so she told them after the first shot was fired to fire at their discretion twice more before switching to a new position she momentarily contemplated how sad it was that the mutant brat wasn't there so she could blow her head off, that sniper shot of hers completely took one of her legs and lowed torso, she had to have it replaced with a cybernetic along with her lower right arm but she would have to save that delicious revenge for another time as every one marked a target but before she could pull the trigger a laser or something blinded her optics completely taking her out of the moment completely as she took her eyes out and glanced down at her self, the laser went from her weapon to her chest before slowly upwards to her head, given her enhanced optics head she zoomed in on where the targeted was coming from…and some distance away she found a green machine of some kinds but the gesture it gave her was unmistakable of who it likely belonged to, the last thing she could think of as the bullet went through her head was ..well played.
Four simultaneous booms resounded around the conflict as four different rooftops suddenly exploded outwards with dirt and debris in the distance, several of the heroes looked up in that direction and some even turned to the sniper who had fired off another shot in the distance and several of the heroes question if he had anything to do with those explosions and what he was even shooting at in the distance, he told them that it wasn't him that caused those explosions and remarked that there had been at least two snipers around and he managed to get two of them but there may be more he has seen and heard those types of shots from before and that regarded them as coming from Neiths anti-material sniper rifle that she could summon around. Just as the man finished talking, five robots slammed down into their mist with a hard thump cracking the already fractured street on their landing.
The heroes just finishing up with the next wave of monsters began to approach the new arrival with hostility, but the voice of Neith coming through the machine confused them. They looked over to child Hero and sekingar for instructions. Child emperor used his backpack to fly over and talk to the head machine in question he examined each of them and their equipment all of them were painted green all over and held weapons of some kind, there were two machines held long extended barrels extending from their forearms the barrel still smocking from the recent use, there were two more machines these with even heavier equipment being two large machine guns planted along either side of the things sides instead of arms, the last machine was completely different than the others, this machine was almost completely humanoid in its appearance and carried no at least visible weapons but its colors indicated what type of machine it really was as the red and white color along with the large cross design along its front body indicated that it was a sort of medic machines for injuries and proving his point the machine immediately went over to check over some of the heroes that had been fighting a few of them had a couple of minor scratches and slices across their bodies.
"Neith….I had thought that we would be fulfilling our missions separately." Child emperor stated, one of the machines turned to him and spoke out.
"I see no reason why that means we can't help each other unless you find an issue with even this." her voice remarked through the machine
"I don't! Thanks for the assist, I didn't think that there were six of them could have ended badly for a few folks if you didn't get here quick enough but I hope you didn't forsake your practice just so a machine could do it." one-shotter shouted from over the child heroes shoulder.
"Hardly, I would have been here myself but it seems like we weren't invited so this is all I can think of to assist." Neith replied.
"Speaking of which…how did you know the time of the operation?" Child emperor questioned.
"Our contact of course." Neith replied simply and Child emperor grimaced at that.
"Speaking of which, have you started your mission yet and have you spotted Mr. King?" Child emperor asked.
"We have not commenced are assault yet, we are waiting for you all to get into position so that the forces are spread out at the same time, and as for Mr. King? He was here for a moment but left elsewhere." Neith filled in, Child emperor was surprised when Tatsumaki suddenly muscled her way into the frames causing him to take a step back.
"I can feel her somewhere, is she with you all?" Tatsumaki said threateningly her power flaring….there was a momentary pause, and for a moment Tatsumaki thought that they were ignoring her and she had half a mind to charge right over there she could feel the general direction of at least two no four espers along the surface but she had no clue if those were her sister or just false readings.
"I am, sister. " the voice of Fubuki rang through the machine. Tatsumkai had physically grabbed the machines as she began to yell at her to leave which only ended in the two having a shouting match with each other through the machine but it ultimately got nowhere and tatsumkai demanded that the mutants take care of her and if she is at all hurt in all this she would take it out on all of them once it became clear that Fubuki was dead set on staying at least until she got her revenge which Tatsumaki reluctantly allowed given that she didn't want to waste any more time discussing it with her before quickly floating way from the machine.
Child emperor spoke for a couple more seconds before being ushered into continuing on with the operation as tatsumkai didn't stop to wait around anymore, causing the whole group to follow after her in a light march to match her pace as the small heroin was clearly upset by the change of events but she was still thinking rationally at least with a flick of her wrists she turned the hundred of monster bodies scattered about the ground into nothing but blood stains which she moved out of the way of the large armies path which included the overthrown building that blocks their path tearing a hole straight through it in a brilliant spectacle that surprised the rest of the heroes, all of the machines that Neith had sent to "help" were sent directly to the front of their formation, Child emperor still didn't completely trust them and if anything would be good if they could draw fire from everyone and return it in the case of more long ranged attacks and hopefully be destroyed in that case the medic bot was in the center of the S-class formatation near the front he was confident any one of them could do away with it if it started to act up, but given that the mutants had Tatsumaki sister definitely put a wrench in the plans if they used her to blackmail Tatsumaki into standing down or worst to turn against us then things could defitnly spiral out of control and he currently couldn't think of any countermeasures for such an icident and due to Tatsumaki's seemingly approval of her sister being around them she seemed confident that they weren't enemies and more than that king had apparently also met up with them during his excursion was that the reason he didn't tell him? Because he could tell the animosity and worry he had against the mutants?
Was he wrong in treating him the way that he was? Well, he would just have to wait and see as he looked at the robots that walked beside him and the four in the front suddenly the machine in front looked up and started to fire at the buildings out ahead of them, the surprising turn made a couple of the heroes behind them jump but the medic bot explained that there were multiple heat signatures waiting for them inside of the buildings present they were walking into another ambush and after Child emperor took out one of his goggles he could definitely see that what the machine was saying was true, the four machines at the front let loose mercilessly into the building completely shattering it making it collapse towards the ground Tatsumaki dealt with the dust and forced it to skyrocket into the air instead of down towards the group. The dust revealed several monsters absolutely crushed beneath the rubble if not with bullet holes riddled through their body which also proved the girl was correct.
Now that he really thought about it, if he did include Neith in the battle plans he could have just had her create an army of robots to either fight the entire thing or at least assist them as she was now or even something even more spectacular like having multiple trump cards ready and waiting for him, he asked the medic machine what was her weight limit for now and it told him that she had a limit of 200 tons and that the drones you see before him took about at most~ 4 tons between their, size, equipment, and load-out which meant that she had expended 13 tons of material creating just them Child emperor wasn't to impressed by that while the robots seemed good he would only rate them maybe a high tiger with their armament and given that tonnage was nearly third of his brave giant mech that wasn't good odds at least to him but didn't she posses stronger machines? If metal night was worried about them surely they would have been stronger than this or was she preserving her strength like he was and hiding her true strength or did she just not want to waste it on people that don't trust her? He shook his head in either case, he mentally sighed at how many variables are added with the mutant's inclusion not only were they out there doing their own thing but also they held different powers that could prove difficult to account for but he would stay focused as they met the junction where they are all going to separate with their groups.
Given king's disappearance and Tastsumaki's complete refusal to have others follow her group one and nine were going to go together toward king's sector, the medicine bot seemed to turn to him like it was curious about what they were doing but Neith had stayed quiet and it quickly returned back to the station but that did raise the question of communication between their two groups so he gesture to Flash and handed him one of his spare communicators and since he was heading over to their area he could give it to one of them just to keep in contact, he would have all five of the robots head over along groups one and nine, the hole king left would likely be hard to replace but hopefully the man had already started his assault so they wouldn't exactly need it. So with the final farewells and good lucks out of the way Child emperor did one last countdown before all of them separated and went their separate ways pressing the button on his detonator as all his doggy woof bombers all went off, countless soft thumps rang through the surrounding landscape marking the heroes to split up and go their separate ways and they did quickly zooming off in separate directions followed closely by their corresponding groups.
Group 1: Tatsumaki
Tatsumaki now that she wasn't slowed down by any of the other fodder that was accompanying her sped through the environment, the monsters so far seemed to be nothing but jokes and they thought that they could take her on with just this. As she traveled she was engaged several times by ranged monsters using improvised weapons and cannons which she easily countered and turned back against them, monsters hoping out of buildings in some vain hopes of catching her by surprise but with a quick flick of the wrist made them just raindrops that fell from the sky she enlarged the barrier around herself just to ensure that her clothes didn't get dirty she could feel several beings inside of the building up ahead and just decided to crumple it not to ever have to deal with the monsters inside before continuing on tossing it back down like the trash it was, she didn't have to worry about any complaints revolving around collateral damage the ontop of the town being basically abandoned all of the buildings were already broken or breaking down as is so now that she knew that she would be the only one in this sector she didn't have to worry about anything or anyone as she flet her power crushing and splattering even more monsters as they rose up from out of the ground like that would have any bearing on her.
Tastumaki was momentarily surprised when she felt a pang of psychic power and before she could realize two of the buildings that she was flying through had suddenly crashed together with her in the middle she was absolutely fine of course, rising out of the building unimpressed as a monster in a worn-out rag approached her.
"It is bold, no not bold it is the sheer arrogance of yourself to come here alone…Gyoro-Gyoro had surgically implanted us with the eyes of several monsters that have been killed by you humans. The rush of their emotions and anger empowers our weak psychic bodies and now that the time of revenge is at hand it's time they are all weeping with joy!" the creature remarked, but tatsumkai was focused on the "we and us" more than anything as she felt more esper powers this time coming from above her, three more similar being above her had been conjuring something as a storm was created overhead a large beam of psychic energy slammed down on top of the S-class hero and the one that was talking to her joined the mix as well lifting several more buildings and shaping them into spikes before slamming it down on her position in the dirt. All four of them were surprised when the girl simply levitated out of the smoke and rubble completely unharmed as she faced them.
"So you gathered the energy from a bunch of fodder to enhance your own but is that really your limit? You should just give it up now and maybe I'll give you a quick death." Tatsumaki stated.
"Your sister is also a psychic right? How about I gouge out both of your eyes? Fufu… it should be a great experiment in synthesis of man and monster." the main one remarked and the smirk on tatsumkai face turned into a hardline of discontent.
"What a gabby monster, alright change of plans(she lifted one of her hands, and three of the background monsters completely evaporate surprising the main creature immensely.) Let me show the consequences of confronting us." tatsumkai said as a raging storm started to spread around the two of them, the monster created a barrier to defend itself from what the esper had planned but it seemed fruitless as it was shattered open as something flew directly through it, causing it to flinch in pain as one of his eyes were pierced, his momentary lapses of judgment allowed two more to be actually pulled free from him the vixen was slowly and stripping him down and try as he might as he hurdled buildings, fired psychic blast he could do nothing to stop the girl more eyes were ruptured, punctured or ripped free from his very being blood flowed along his body along with any power remaining he was weak once more before being crumbled into a bag using his very own cloak.
"You were warned." was the final words he heard from the girl as he felt parts of his body slowly and ever so painfully whittle away into the obscurity of the wind all the anger that was held within him being replaced completely by fear in his last moments of life.
Once Tatsumaki was done with that trash she flared her power once more as she raised her hand, there had been multiple esper signals scattered about now that she was actually on the lookout for them in case of another trash monster she quickly raised her hand, and gripped and pulled in the closets one to her, she was surprised to find an eyeball creature struggling in her grasp.
"I take it you are Gyoro-Gyoro right? Why don't you come out to play instead of sending out these little pests to bother me, better yet how about you just surrender and give up the child?" tastsumaki declared
"Hah! I'm a cut above the espers you just faced now, they were just toys I was experimenting with, you shouldn't get so cocky." Gyoro-Gyoro stated confidently through its avatar.
"Well I hope you at least provide some entertainment, see you soon." Tatsumaki replied before closing the fist and crushing the eye into a bloody paste before flying forwards and snapping multiple other monsters out of existence and picking up a large boulder which signified her entry point and dashed down into the tunnel, continuing her
carnage underground all the while.
Group 2: Atomic Samurai, Sword Saints Disciples, Sweet Mask, Golden Ball, Gun Gun, Wild Horn, Jet nice guy, Narcissistoic, Peach Cherry
Group two had undergone some revision given the number of people within the said group which would unfortunately in Child emperor's opinion be traveling underground so a majority of their group included many A-class heroes five of them would be headed underground. So they allocated one A-class from a different group peach Terry to accompany them to reinforce the whole that would be left behind, atomic disciples had believed that spring mustachio would have wanted to join them in going down in the monster association base but the man had refused, believing that the true capability of his sword wasn't quite fit for such close encounters and they didn't want to draw too many more resources from other groups if he to also joined them in the tunnels unlike someone else they whispered to mostly amongst themselves, speaking of sweet mask however despite the idols and appearance and general behavior he had actually surprised everyone present with his strength. The never-ending hoard of monsters continued to pursue them and unlike before when they held significant numbers which allowed most of the S-class the leeway of doing nothing and just being spectators monsters emerged from the sky and the ground some being even 10 meters tall in size but all of them were easily cut down and into pieces as the swordsman progressed. The monsters were almost literally throwing themselves into a blender but despite the amount of bloodshed none of the ones behind them showed any fear and continued to march forwards.
In the event that the group was set upon by ranged units which became rarer and rarer as they traveled to their destination, Golden Ball and Gun Gun was there to at least suppress them for the most part luckily there were no more snipers anymore but may not have even mattered as the swordsman blender of a frontline wasn't just for the lumbering monsters approaching them but essentially anything that was in front of them the bullets the monsters sent them was casually cut in half or deflected away from them the only sign that a shot had come out was the minor Flash from the impact it made with their swords, peach Terry was the only swordsman exempt form this stellar display of ability he had wanted to see the ability of the sword saint up close for his entire life.
it was his dream to one day sit on the council alongside atomic samurai but seeing them in action just showed him how far of a road he still had to go even compared to the disciples. the group continued to persevere against the wave of monsters slicing them all down to ribbons or having holes blown through them by the two ranged heroes the only caveat that they had to consider was the "clean up" in a sense they had to ensure that the monster was disposed of properly completely destroying the head or burning the bodies so that they wouldn't be revived and come back with even more numbers, the group had been on the final street to their objective and took the moment to gather any of the bodies around and throw them into a pile and start burning them with the burner that Child emperor had provided to the group leaders.
In the midst of the burning bodies, more monsters came out to attack them and apparently leading the charge this time was a large rhino creature that had seemed to command the authority of the monster behind him as the monster waited for it to charge forth, which it did horn down and head low, Gun Gun and Golden Ball fired off with their weapons the rhino moved with impressive speed using his horn to deflect each projectile away from himself.
"Gold balls?….10 points…pistol bullet, hmm 8 points." the rhino remarked simply before charging forwards again, this was the day that he trained for this was it, none of the monster's other two were actually interested in getting stronger than then they were, when he first went and joined up with the monster association he was just a tiger but now he was a demon, gyoro-gyoro even suggested that he would be able to take down an S-class hero so taking on these frauds would be no problem a cyborg and guy with a weird chin came jumping on on him, he allowed their strikes to land weak, too weak… 5 points, 7 points he continued to charge forwards unimpeded into another swordsman taunting them all if this was all they got then he would have a field day but another swordsman approached him alone this one in metal armor with only one arm he mentally laughed was this really the association true strength? Relying on crippled heroes to fight? Well if the guy thought he was going to go easy o him due to that fact he was surely mistaken. He brought his horn even lower ready to gore him but his blade came out at nearly blinding speed countering his attack but more than that stopping him in his tracks. This hero was strong and that was only with one arm?
69 points he spoke in compliment but he was still confident he would be able to beat him, the other pest came to his aid and again he let their tracks wash over his pointy chin and the cyborg came back this time with even stronger attacks and there was another armored warrior this one clouded in purple, white, and gold that approached with a thrusting weapon of some kind he felt the impact along his leg but it only results in a small cut he thrust his horn forwards pushing the one-armed warrior backward allowing him room to get rid of the fodder amongst them as he raised both of his fists and quickly lashed out at each one of them telling them their score..pointy chin rose knuckles 18 points, horned amor full power piston …. 40 points, Cyborg…ultimate jet straight …12 points, and peach scarf Peach ripper ….15 points.
"Ah! Suppressing opponents while being attacked, there is no bettering feeling in this world!" he cheered as the five individuals were blown back but he was too caught up in his pride as pain ruptured from his shoulder he looked over and saw a sword extending right through it past him following the trail to its source found another swordsman this one was dressed in some fancy suit and tie but he couldn't deny the result of his attack..tomboy …80 points.
But there was a flaw to his technique as his sword was now within his reach he reeled his head back and was about to shatter the blade but as he swung it he was thrown off balance for a moment as he put so much effort into hitting nothing. The sword retracted back in such a quick time, hmm he would need to keep a lookout for that one or so he thought but the one-armed warrior had called all the others off wanting to fight him by himself, hmph was he getting cocky because he was hurt by his friend? This wound was nothing for him he could still fight if anything this would only help him improve himself, a monster like him improved in battle and it helped if the battle was hard it was his singular purpose to be the strongest he acknowledged that both Gyoro-Gyoro and the cadres were stronger than him now but they all seemed to be the lazy type not wanting to improve their strength like he was and the same went for even orochi he was confident given enough time and hard-fought battle he could surpass all of them and become the strongest and this moment would be just another step in getting there.
He took on the one-armed warriors challenge he charged forth swinging down at him with a large right hook which he avoided he felt almost a dozen slashes in response along his horn but it did nothing, he came in with another punch and again the same result, the warrior was fast but that was fine that just meant he would have to beat him in a battle of attrition and he was prepared for that he started he did a microcharge with his horn low which the swordsman deflected away from himself as he skipped backward the battle lasted for two minutes and Neither fighter had landed any solid hits on the other but he could see the look of anguish on the man face as sweat started to drop from his cheeck humph another human weakness he thought, the warrior bit off more than he could chew and he was likely starting to realize that now he was going to make him regret it, he was surprised when the other heroes didn't interfere he didn't think they would be that honorable for their fight but that came to an end when someone else called from behind the one-armed warrior.
"That's enough Iaian, I'll be taking your place." the man remarked approaching the warrior. This iaian from behind.
"Master atomic samurai please just give me another-"
"No way…we can't wait any longer we're on a timetable here, you really wanted to cut off that horn, didn't you? I'll do it or you." this atomic samurai stated wait! That name, rhino wrestler heard that name before isn't that the name of an S-class hero, if that was true then this was his moment. He shifted his eye to the side and glanced at the flying eyeball are you watching Gyoro-Gyoro I'll see show you that your time invested in me was not wasted.
"Cut ha! I'll like to see you try! your S-class right!? I like your spirit. Come on! Show me your killer move! I'll be scoring it!" rhino wrestler remarked as he pulled back a fist the other warrior began to walk away with his back turned to him if he were any lesser monster that would have been a death sentence but they had been admirable so far so he would be as well besides the S-class took priority over everything in his eyes. He cocked back a left fist but the swordsman barely moved a muscle he saw the man slowly reach for his weapon but just as quickly just left it as is was he looking down on him and wasn't going to draw his sword? Well in that case…ugh his hand just fell lifeless to his side motionless he panicked for a moment before it turned into agitation as the S-class hero turned away from him.
"Hey you what type of cheap trick did you do? this fight is far from over! Don't ignore me." rhino wrestler yelled as he felt his body get colder and colder, he felt like his body was fighting to keep together and he could barely feel anything anymore as he spoke.
"Ah yeah, that's right …what's my score?" the hero spoke to him as he turned his way, rhino wrestler wasn't going to answer him as he believed that he didn't even attack him but soon enough his horn slid off right his head, he wanted to move his arm to catch it but his body again didn't respond, he felt light-headed was..he dead already? He didn't even see what happened or what killed him was this the power of the S-class? Dam it Gyoro-Gyoro you lied to me..you said that I was strong enough to kill an S-class hero but he wasn't even close, but if these were his final moments he would answer the man's question.
"100" was all he could get his mouth to say before he started to see his vision start to separate and separate more and more, the hero was nice in a way as he left the world without any pain although his dream would never come true seeing this it may not have been possible to begin with.
"Many thanks." atomic samurai said before he made his way past the diced creature completely unbothered the other monster seemed to take its death seriously however they had an unbreakable will so they still charged him, well that was fine by him it was easier to kill them if they came directly towards him and all of them received the same treatment. The coast was clear for the moment and the five-member group all began to take their leave into the hole. Mustachioo wished them luck and there was a gunshot off in the distance and gun gun remarked that there was a strange butterfly monster watching them from the distance that he took care of.
Group 3: Puri-Puri prisoner, Twin Tail, Green, Pink hornet, Heavy Kong, Kyle (shinning prodigy), Cassy(shining prodigy), April(shinning prodigy), Glasses, Ken (shinning prodigy), Sentai Ranger
Puri-puri prisoner didn't think Child emperor was one for subtle pranks in these trying times the fact that his team mostly had included females was somewhat disappointing for the S-class hero, he would have been overjoyed in seeing all the men fighting the monsters with all they got, sweating from the exertion or maybe even having to be saved by him, he had been hoping to indear some of them men to him that way seeing his gracious beauty and skill up close would likely be enough but being alos their savior would almost assure that they would fall for him but alas it didn't seem to be the case a majority of the men that were on his team wasn't his type other than heavy kong although he had hopped like some of the shinning prodigies he would stip off from some of the clothing allowing him a glance at those gleaming dark muscle but alas this wasn't to be when the fighting commenced he still retained all of his clothing. Curses that Child emperor and his jokes he thought as the fighting started in earnest.
In actuality upon realizing the S-class hero they would be assigned under a number of the guys that were originally in group three had requested of Child emperor to make trades elsewhere which the child prodigy granted them
Group three had to continue down through several streets and alleys heading towards their objective, the closed and abandoned buildings had ironically given them somewhat of an advantage given that none of them had ranged weapons to fight off ranged attacks, the only caveat to this was that their progress was mostly slow while most of the monster proved to be no problem for many of the heroes present along with the shining prodigies given their way of fighting they only had a select few ways of putting them down without the chance of resurrection destroying or crushing the heads of several monsters while in the midst of fighting hordes of ten or more proved very difficulty which resulted in some sloppy kills here and there which meant they had to gather up a few of the bodies and dropped them into a large pile to be burned on more than a few occasions.
The group leader, twin tail was unfamiliar with the terrain she had never actually been in the uninhabited zone before during her patrols the place being long abandoned even before the thought of a hero association existed, she had quickly taken in each battlefield they were fighting in before quickly covering her eyes again, she was so used to just navigating by memory alone that navigating by vision was actually more disorientating for her but it also threw off somewhat her sense of smell. Given her unique talents and traits, she was an incredible value to the team being able to literally sniff out local ambushes of monsters that lay in wait in the shadow of the buildings or around the street concerned the stench was overwhelming to her and gave them up right away and allowed them to be prepared but despite being aware of that they were still caught off guard by a particularly strong monster that had appeared as they neared their objective, it had a humanoid type body with horns on top of its head with a golden chain around its neck. This creature that called itself... Hell's gangster had struck first and hard punching the A-class hero sentai ranger sending the costumed hero spiraling back and creating a fissure along the way, luckily he was able to recover at least somewhat from the attack but he was shaky on his feet and his helmet was partially shattered, he roared out a warning telling them that this monster was a reasonably dangerous individual so they should keep their guard up against it.
Despite his warning, the other heroes try to attempt to fight it under the cover of teamwork but just from that punch she believed that it wouldn't have been enough, green used his plants to quickly attempt to subdue the monster while both Glasses and Heavy kong charged in at the monster but this was only proved fruitless the plants were not enough to hold the creature as it used its strength to tear the plants from around his body causing green to flinch in pain for a moment and stagger downwards to a knee from the recoil of feeling that on his nervous system. The last of the plants that surrounded him immediately began to recede as well, but the two other heroes continued on with their assault on the creature both lashing out with strong hooks against the creature's face but he just laughed them off before striking both of them in the gut, he was about to chomp down on glasses headed with his large serrated teeth but a bowling pin had entered into his open maw instead nearly lodging itself into his throat and causing him to chock while he was occupied removing the foreign and frankly random object the other two heroes had made their retreat, he was assaulted by multiple other objects from the clown who he was convinced into killing first for such a pitiful display she made him do. The objects she threw at him did nothing as he continued to press forwards. Bowling pins, small metallic balls but the most surprising to even him were bladed weapons as well and she caught each of them as they came back even when some of them he threw back at her which he gave the clown at least some credit for but it wouldn't matter as he closed in on his pray.
He changed his plan of strategy as he got closer to the clown, dodging out of the way of the juggle and reeling out his arm to strike the clown momentary confusion about why its pins didn't reflect back to it which would bite it as he lunged forwards with a massive right hook but instead of caving the clowns head in instead the clown has suddenly flown back herself as his fist instead landed on something else instead he didn't know what but it was definitely hard his hand hurt hitting against it, he originally thought it was going to be a shield or something but he was shocked to see that it was another human this one was taller than the rest of them, but judging from how he took that full powered punch of his he was clearly special than the rest. He was likely S…..Class, Pain…nothing but pain erupted from his body at such a blinding rapid pace that he couldn't even think straight anymore…how? When? Did he …then a second barrage this one was even more Pain and then nothing he felt a slight prick and felt weightless before he couldn't feel anything at all.
The heroes were stunned at how puri-puri prison completely eviscerated the tough monster like it was nothing completely bisecting the thing in half with his mere punches alone, no one even saw him throw a punch either it almost seemed like the man just stared the monster away and some of them that new of how puri-puri prisoner actually fought regarded that the guy wasn't even serious yet not unless you see him naked. The fighting didn't last too much longer with him leading the group, the charging monsters began to evaporate into large chunks of blood or red mist entirely which also saved them time to have to burn the bodies. they reached the entrance to their tunnel which was located inside an abandoned clothing store, everyone wished the best for the prisoner hero and he thanked them for it but he also remained them and everyone over the speaker that if they see any monsters wearing prison uniforms to spare them and if possible bring them to himself or his group, unbeknownst to him Child emperor had actually cut off his radio after he began speaking so he didn't give out any unnecessary information that would prove to be a hindrance, they all stared as puri-puri prisoner went down the holes except one which was twin tail she tossed a scimitar through the air and it struck hard directly through a floating creature that she had smelled, it seemed they were being watched in their travels.
Group 4: Child emperor, Blue Fire, Gearsper, double hole, Smell Master, Gabriel(shinning Prodigy), Trap Tengu, Raiku(shinning Prodigy), Aikon(shinning Prodigy), crescent eyebroll, Doll Master
Child emperor mostly wanted his group to consist of people who relied on technology or things of that nature to fight but he also included a couple of brawlers for their protection in the advent that they inevitably were swarmed given that so many monsters were preset he had also elected to come in with an extra recovery station it would essentially allow him to re-arm in case he exhausted all of his options so he also had some of the more vital members carry his machine by parts it was a fabricator which allowed him to build things from scratch using the environment as a resource but it could only begin when harvesting those resources when the things were fully built and prepared so it would be after they had reached their objective. He had once again thought of how things would have been with Neith here, with her ability there were nearly limitless possibilities of uses that could make things easier for him, and the rest of them stronger machines would have proven to make things easier as well but again he could deal with that later and just focus on the now.
His plan involved separating the monster's forces over a wide area and not bogging themselves down in a prolonged conflict where they could all be wiped out in one fell swoop the problem with his plan however also meant that they wouldn't be receiving any support from each other in the advent that things became too much for them to bear if he was the monster association boss or advisor the correct play would be for them to just swarm the groups separately with overwhelming force and numbers that no single S-class hero could hope to counter or defeat, he was solely relying on the monster hubris and likely lack of unity for his plan to function if not that then …there was a likely chance that more than a few S-class heroes could die this day even himself, especially with the cadres they have likely in reserve waiting for them to exhaust themselves with the fodder before striking, but it was a threat he was willing to take if it meant securing the child safety…right? It was their job to save the public but this whole thing was just..for one kid…he was important sure but so were they right? The death of one or even several S-class heroes could spell doom for the public as well, did he make the right decision by separating them so far from each other? He shook his head again the pressure from having basically done all the planning was getting to him if things went sideways it would undoubtedly be on his shoulder along with sekingar who was right alongside him in the group.
Child emperor questioned why the man would not just wait at the checkpoint rally they set up but he surprised him when he spoke that he understood the risk of sending the heroes to this place and he wanted to experience that risk himself as well, if the mission was a failure and they were killed then he would want to be their right along with them for sending them there he wouldn't be a commander that sent soldiers to their death while he sat and watched. Child emperor was surprised by the man's courage and was uplifted by his reply, as he refocused on the task at hand. Most of the monsters were easy he still didn't have to fight much of anything on his travels toward their objective. The fighting didn't stop in the meanwhile but their battle strategy had been working out pretty well for the moment, monsters would attack them in waves but gnashing teeth and claws proved to be no match against their weaponry and planning, they would use Child emperor as bait the S-class hero seemingly being an even bigger target for the monsters even in comparison to the civilian sekingar.
Multiple of them remarked about getting some sort of prize for killing the child hero so maybe that was why but it didn't matter to him the only ones dying would be them as he ran towards his group leader blue fire before activating his backpack and flying upwards and letting the brunette man fire off his flame blast on full power roasting over a dozen monster almost instantly without even a chance to scream. Child emperor's mission wasn't only that bait and switch the monsters however he also wanted to position blue fire in such a way that allowed him to use his backpack to fly upwards without being too inauspicious as he continued to climb higher and higher into the sky and sliced the floating eye creature in half he wouldn't let the monster to continue to spy on them that easily he remarked simply.
From his skyward view, he surveyed the area and flew over to the other squad to see if their plan had worked as well and luckily it did, there had been a couple of sleeping monsters that lay on the ground due to a scent created by smell master and for the moment he was conducting a powerful acid that would eat away at the bodies preventing any hope of resurrection however to conserve on time he only drop the liquid on the head of the monsters present well another way to look at it was he was being nice and offering the creatures a quick death from their sleep instead letting the acid eat their way up from the leg up. blue fire along with the burner provided enough resources to completely eat away at the other bodies scattered about. There had been no mention or sighting of the monster with the reviving capabilities yet, the monster association may have not suspected them to come prepared for them to counteract it in such a short amount of time or they wanted to keep him deep in their base in preparation for their cadres, that was smart to keep a healer out of or at least away from the main fighting after all, that could make things more difficult underground but that was something he would have to deal with when he got there he supposed, he may have to use his brave Gaint even faster than he first anticipated he believed which made him worry, but he was confident that he should be able to beat even a cadre or two with it before going down.
The fighting eventually met its end and before Child emperor set himself to go down into the tunnels within a sewer drain he set up his fabricator device before setting up a few turrets on the outside of the heroes perimeter he didn't have time to implement the monster scanning mechanisms that he did with the satellite so the mini octopus-shaped robot will continue to shoot at any object moving in the alert zone until the carbon dioxide emission is no longer detected meaning it was a problem to both human and monster alike, he urged them to remember where their cones of fire laid and where he had planted them working closely with trap tengu to ensure that their position was heavily fortified against possible monster attacks that would likely take place from underground or from out in the field but there was also a chance that there could be fellow heroes coming into assist them or fall back to their position if things got rough for them, so he also shared with them a vocal deactivation code in case of emergencies along with a temporary suspension code that would stop their programming for a few minutes before starting again, with those precautions out of the way it was his turn to leave ducking down into the sewer, sekingar and the rest wishing him luck as he slowly lowered the lid again as he went down into the expansive tunnel system alone.
Group 5: Tank Top Master, Tank top vegetarian, Tank Top Philospher, Tank Top Demon, Tank Top Doctor, Tank Top Black Hole, Tank Top Cop, Tank Top Stiches, Tank Top Sumo, Tank Top Shaven, Tank Top Amazon.
Group five was entirely made up of the tank top army between them and the shinning prodigies the two groups made up 41 of the 100 heroes lined up for the mission however, given that they numbered a full 23 members meant they would have to be separated from their teacher and put under other squads, however, Child emperor would allow them to work together as much as possible given their already shared history, it only made the most sense as they would have the greatest chemistry between and know each other strength and weaknesses, tank top master was the one that did the sorting he was confident that a majority of his disciples would have wanted to accompany him on their journey through the monster town but given that he had demanded to have the most straight forwards and hardness route he wanted to ensure that he had the strongest team available to him so he simply told them that the highest ranked tank toppers would be accompanying him on the journey and while disappointment had shone through on a number of their faces it did succeeded in also amping the other members up in compettiveness, in such an event like this happen again they would have liked to accompany him on his route instead. The only caveat to this setup was one of their missing members, Child emperor had told him that tank top tentacole couldn't be a part of the mission and he challenged the child hero on that even with him telling him his worries he believed in everyone in the tanks top army and treated them like family which included the young tentacle hero and if he told him that he was innocent of suspicion then he would still invite him regardless of the child heroes worries.
Tentacole while he appreciated tank master's trust in him declined the invitation to take part in the main operation especially if it would have got him in trouble but he did tell the man that he would be in the area and even gave them a communicator to request assistance if they needed it. It did make the group hassle before the final separation a bit awkward as the medical robot that they had sent over took tentacle's place as his voice spoke through it but everyone welcomed the feeling nonetheless of aloof them being together for the mission. When the large group of heroes separated into their ten smaller groups it was the force led by tank top master that continued to charge straight ahead directly into the belly of the beast.
Dozens of monsters stood in their way but they would not let that deter them, it only made their tank tops shine even brighter at the challenge, they had again gone under a new training regime to take their group to the next level after their embarrassing performance against the hero hunter and hearing that he was in cahoots made this all the more personal for them. The 9 tank tops performed a line of men and women in front of their master and all of them charged into the monster in a combo attack of tank top linemen charge it was a combo attack that could rival that of one of tank top masters tackles the results were instant colliding into the groups of monster resulting into a shower of body parts and blood. The monsters were either blown to pieces or trampled underfoot by the large line of tank-top army members they couldn't do anything to stop them as they pushed through, luckily they didn't have to stop and burnt the bodies as the large charge took left very little in the sense of resurrection.
They couldn't keep it up for long however as the charge had only lasted to about a third of their travel to their designation before all nine of them needed to have a rest and recuperate it worked out in their favors as well as the group had to take cover as shots had suddenly rung out from the top of a garage there was a line of monsters waiting for them to step out while several other more insectoid creatures rose up from the ground attempting to herd them out into the opening, the insects were large almost ant-like in nature with a hard exoskeleton that with serrated feet that they attempted to use to puncture a few of them, given the recent depleted energy the group was mostly in a doomed situation forcing both tank master and tank demon into action, tank master dealt with the ranged weapons on top of the garage scooping up piles of concreete and loose debris from off the road or road signs instead and hurling it at the perpetrators several bullets pinged off his body but he continued to return fire which completely pulverised the assailants weapons and any body part that had been open at the time of his barrage several bodies fell backwards or due to the angle fell fowards down to the groud below.
He couldn't properly see if he got all of them as he focus his attention back to his crew tank demon had successfully killed three of the large insect-like creatures that had risen up from the ground but using their own serrated legs to kill them, the last couple of large insectoids were killed by the other tank topper jumping on top of them and stabbing them with improvised tools like streets signs and rebar from collapsed buildings. When the fighting had subsided tank master had to manually restrain tank demon so that they could put the mask back on the man so that he could calm down the group waited for a couple more minutes allowing the hero to calm down and recuperate before proceeding forwards. Monster attacks were surprisingly sparse as they continued their journey even when they were over halfway they saw very little in terms of resistance, tank philosopher read over his book but he still could not see much of anything the only words he could decipher were the words "danger" which given where they were wasn't very surprising.
Once they were in the final stretch and still not many monsters were present everyone could tell that something was up but they had no choice but to continue to move forwards but with extreme caution, philosopher kept his head in his journal to just see if he could pick up on something but the words danger just completely took over but soon another word came out which was "watch your step" and "tentacole" but just as he yelled out a warning for the group to stop moving the monster plan was set into motion the ground beneath rumble before collapsing downwards six of their number had fallen down into the large trap crashing into a large hole and it was here they were set upon by even more monsters coming out of separate tunnel system the fall was 40 ft deep but luckily it wasn't riddle with spikes the monster wanted to kill them with their bare hands which allowed them the at least some chance to fight back but unexpected fall did shake a number of them up and going down meant being stuck down their with no way up so those on the surface was hesitant on helping got mostly scrambling around to find something they could use to make a latter or way back up but master reacted almost immeidalty jumping down and into the pit.
He fought off the hordes of monsters that attempted to attack his wounded comrades killing all of them with just one punch each or one tackle. Once the stream of monsters seemed to stop he yelled up to the top and asked if they had found something yet to pull them all out tank master could just throw them up with his strength but he was worried about some of them that were hurt from the fall and accelerating their wounds. they hadn't been able to find something to get them to climb out of but when tank philosopher suggested calling for support from tentacole tank master agreed, reaching into his pocket and taking out the communicator he gave him and calling in for support It took about 10 minutes for him to arrive but he did so along with another medic robot.
he used his power to create a giant hand all of the trapped tank toppers climbed aboard and were lifted out of the hole, while thanking him for the save all of them took notice of his attire more specifically that he was clouded in some sort of bulky looking armor but what was important to tank master was that if he was wearing the tank top underneath it which he showed them all as his suit was able to partially reconfigure itself into smaller pieces along his body revealing his signature tank top underneath, he and tank master shared a firm handshake as he filled him on what was happening next, the group continued to travel with shoji in toe towards their objective thanks to their waiting tank master was late to get into position. The group all wished tank top master luck before Shoji left off back to his friends after the robot was done looking over some of the injuries their squad had attained, shoji asked tank philosopher about anything he should be worried about and the man only shrugged, his book seemed to be failing him at the moment but he did warn the teen to keep a lookout for tank girl she was in a closer group to then theirs were along with not having S-class with them so it could be dangerous and shoji assured to keep that in mind if he had the time before wishing the man luck which philosopher returned as the robot transformed into a flying bike and off he went.
Group 6: Metal bat, Tank Top barber, Tank Top Al Dente, Tank Top Racer, Tank Top Mask, Tank Top Hatter, Tank Top Swimmer, Tank Top Jungle, Tank Top Rockabilly, Tank Top Warrior, Tank Top Tiger
Metal bat didn't mind being paired up with tank top master and his freaks of tank top enthusisits but that didn't mean he would be the ones waiting up for them as they headed to their objective he was pretty disappointed with being held back by Child emperor and just "taking it easy" while the others did the fighting for him, that just wasn't his style and it sure wouldn't get his blood pumping let alone his fighting spirit so when tatsumkai litterally through him into the fight, he was more the obliged to get into the whole thing and get a few pratice swings in but now that no one was their to hold him he back he was going to charge straight into the fire and hope the others in his team could keep or not it didn't matter to him what they did as long as they didn't get int his way he would continue and achieve what he needed to and get home. He had sadly lied to his little sister again and told her that he was just going away on another standard protection mission, he didn't want her worrying about him but Zenko was a smart girl she knew when he was lying and she told him if he came back all banged up again she would never forgive him so despite his full hardiness he wasn't going to be reckless he would think things somewhat more through instead of just going in mashing head with his bat but there would be plenty of that he was sure.
The wave of monsters that came to attack him was simple enough to get rid of as he swung his bat and completely began to pulverize them completely it didn't matter if they came by the dozen if they were just t his weak, he wanted something harder to hit, the amount of small fry being sent his way was actually disappointing and didn't get him in the mood at all, as he crashed amongst the monsters their punches was nothing and he brushed them off as he continued to wail away at the hoard of creatures. The tank tops while he intially thought of them only as slouches mascarading a group title held up somewhat well in his opinion, when he first heard that they had been taken out by garou he thought they were a bunch of chumps but fighting the hunter himself he defintly could see how even tank top master could be take out but these monster didn't even hold a percent of the hunters skill so all of them did well in the fighting a little slow for his liking and they seemed to get tired pretty quick as well and not to mention having to stop and burn the bodies made things tedius for him, he didn't really care for that if they got back up he would just send them right bak to the grave, they reached their objective and he gave them all a quick thumbs up as he proceeded down into the tunnel, the groups seemed to be incredibly winded as he went down and he partially hoped he didn't work them to hard in trying to keep up with him but he wanted to get this over with quick so that he could get back to his little sister as quickly as possible.
Group 7: Darkshine, Great Philosopher, Rofus, Hanzo, Hecter, Billy, Phillip, Gaz, Karrot, Shaman, Kelly(shinning prodigies)
Darkshine was folllowed towards his desintation by his loyal fanbase the only caveat to that was the great philophser, he assumed that they needed at least some hero association cetrified hero to be apart of his squad so that he could relay information comfortablely to the rest of them, he knew that the child hero had some reservation by techincally invloving civillinas into the conflict but shinnig prodegies were adamant in coming along and the hero associaontion being desperate wouldn't want to turn them down Darkshine was even surprised by the fact that all of them had turn up even despite him teling them to leave it to him during the festival of the lost, thinking back to that day he could't help but realize how foolish he sounded when he said to leave it up to him…he didn't think the monsters had too many type of creatures like that of the dog, it was durable maybe even more so then himself but it lacked punch but he was wrestling with the idea of if he could even beat it but all that was swept to the wayside when that girl had shown up despite her small size in comparsion to herself she was strong… even stronger than he was he could tell she almost reminded him of his fight with Flash which caused him to clam up almost instintcally then and there even now.
Were all the cadre that strong? That was what was constantly coursing through his head as he moved along the given route. He thought he would relish in the idea of a good fight and hard-fought win when he sparred against green savior he was elated to find someone so close to his strength but also a little disheartened, they had some real actual competitions against the small teen when they had both tried their best he had actually won against him many time causing him to only want to try harder but after the losses kept mounting he just couldn't help but resent the boy at least a little bit, he had asked Kirishima about the boy's powers and he explained to him how that was where all of his strength came from it was almost a complete affront to what he trained for he grew envious of the boy he didn't have to train half as hard as he did yet he possessed the same strength as him even greater occasionally which left him feeling bitter and not counting his losses against the teen.
he had been getting so boarded with nothing being able to even harm him and going down with just a light touch but after that dog and especially that girl he may have been mistaken he didn't know if he could win against them and the price for not winning this fight wouldn't just be an incredibly sad walk home but death the mere idea of the word made his body shutter in worry. He wanted to just stay in the base and not face them and let the other heroes challange the monsters or better just allow Deku to take his place he was just as capable if not more so the himself their was nothing he could do that the boy couldnt and he also had those other abilities as well but when Child emperor told him how he wasn't going to participating in the mission do to the chace of being a spy for the monster associaiton and after some time he relecutanlty agreed to go, he was kind of relieved to know that Deku was also in the taking part in his own way as that would leave less cadre for him to face all he really neded to do and worry about were them as long as he avoided fighting them he should be fine and they gave them their names and faces so he could tell by a glance if he should engage them or not, he woudl like to chose to believe they were telling the truth and weren't spies wether that was due to his trust in the teen or hoping not to run into some random monster that showcased monsterous strength that was able to hurt him.
Darkshine took his time in reaching his destination because once he reached that place, it was going to be the moment where he would be left alone just him by himself as he travled down into the depths of the monster association so far, the monster that had been attacking them weren't really that strong at all they had all been mostly just pushowever that the shinnign prodegies were able to take care of due to most of them being physical fighter but not strong enough to blow the bodies away as if they were never their like his attacks could but he made an effort not to figtht unless monster slip through the vanguard in front of him but that usually just ended with the monster body shattering itself upon his dark body, they didn't know much about restrain or maybe they thought his general aloofness was a chance to catch him off guard but it didn't matter as their body evoparted upon tocuhing him as if they tried to stop an unstopable force, but Darkshine knew he was not unstopable he seen it twice now and he really didn't want to see it a third and perhphas last time.
He allowed the large group to stop and rest their muscles he didn't want to overtax them and liked the slow pace but it was all just a means to an end as it was finally time for him to take the plunge. All of them rooted him and wanted them to show the monsters the true strength of his muscles and he attempted to give them a reassuring smile as he lept down but he was more trying to fool himself rather than them while doing so, he just needed to keep a cool head and avoid cadre at all cost and he would be fine it would be that simple or so he hoped.
Group 8: Pig god, Magic Trick man, Kent(shinning prodigy), Kratos(shinning prodigy), Joseph(shinning prodigy), Food battler futoshi, Monster ropper shell, Snek, Darkness blade, Heavy tank loin cloth, Pineapple
Group seven progressed also at their own pace, the group assumes Pig god wasn't much of a sprinter so they proceeded at a leisurely jog much to the disgruntlement of heavy tank loin cloth althouh Pig god told them that they coudl proceed at any pace they wanted and he would keep up just fine although he couldn't say the same for food battler futoshi which he snared acouple of snacks from his snack bag with along their journey. The monster that attacked them in waved were mostly simply minded attacking with blades and natural born weapons of their own make but to the heroes, it wasn't much trouble at all magic trick man would consult spawn cards from seemingly out of nowhere and throw them they were razor sharp piercing through several monsters or embedding themselves into the hard shell ones. Monster ropper shell actually impressed some of the heroes present with his skill and dexterity quickly weaving through the monster's ranks and wrapping them up completely in cowboy-like binds or hog-tying two monsters together to trip them up and allowing his accomplice darkness blade to finish off the caught prey. Heavy tank loin cloth along with the shinning prodigies mostly reloved around with grappling with the monster overpowering them with their strength and muscles but as they got deeper to the objective this became hader and harder to do, monsters would soon be matching their strength, and sometimes even exceeding it and with their numbers forcing them back on the defensive.
Pig god had on more than one occasion stopped a monster blade from cutting into one of his allies by stepping into the hit for them and swallowing the offending monster and weapon whole, there was a brief pause on the battlefield as he had did so the first time, everyone had heard rumors of how Pig god fought but seeing it up close in person was something different entirely, Pig god was going easy for the most part and it was pretty hard in preparation for the massive upcoming battle he actually fasted for the entire two day wait when he was told of the upcoming assault thanks to his stomach had actual decreased in weight a bit, requiring him to actually having to tape his pants to his waiste to keep them from falling luckily when he finally got down to the location his buffet could truly begin and he could gorge himself however he likes but he wanted to wait and give it time so he allowed them other heroes to take on the waves of monster coming at them however he would occasionally take a piece of the body piles for himself before they were burned. The group finally made it to their objective and Pig god needed assistance getting down the stairs to some subway train entrance it took all of the group to shove the man through but he gave them his thanks once he was finally through and not too late as well his stomach was rumbling just as he reached the floor and his nose was leading him exactly to his new food waiting for him.
Group 9: Zombieman, Army Man, chain'n'toad, Smile Man, Butterfly DX, Heat Edge, recluse samurai, Posion Punch, Locust Man, Ground Zero, Faxked.
Zombieman was going with the motions of Child emperor's plans if it were truly up to him he would have taken the teen's intel and just focused all of their attention on that area and if it turned out to be wrong then things could go from there at least they would spring the trap with all of their numbers instead Flash group being overwhelmed although he very much doubted that the information they were supplied with were false and he did make an effort however small to get the child hero onto the teen's side but he was stalwart in his cause and he didn't want any friction to come between the two of them over it so he allowed him to carry on with his way of doing things, he could see how much this all meant to him and likely other then the child rescue situation he believed everything would be going over pretty well.
He had gotten a communication device from Tsukoymi so he would be in touch if they rescued the kid or not. He had some worry for the teens, but he had very little doubt that the intel was legit whoever their source was had to be someone pretty high up and tech-savvy along with strong he never even saw or heard them coming when he was ambushed a couple of days back, the most likely person was that girl silver chain a general background check came up blank as was expected but she had been close to dynamite before apparently becoming a monster and he was the one that had "rescued" him from the danger that day so it tracks that she would allow doing so. She was also a ninja so her getting the drop on him would also connect that link but was she just undercover or was she actually aiming to kill them during the battle was the question, Flashes chuckle during the meeting and the certainty of the girl attempting to attack him was something he guessed they had beef with one another, he didn't know what that entailed and he guessed in the end it was none of his business.
It was just one less hassle he would have to deal with, in truth, he was kind of loathing the upcoming conflict, he wasn't the best suited for front-on assaults his weapons would run out of ammo eventually and then he would just be down to his trusty axe and swords, of course, he loved fighting and killing as much as any other maniac but he knew for a fact that once they got underground there would likely be a few moments where he would need to slow down his killing spree to heal up or in the advent, he fought one of the cadre then he would likely need to be praying on luck that they let their guard down.
he hasn't actually taken on a dragon-level monster before now so there was some hint of curiosity there maybe even a tinge of ….of what? ..was it fear? No it was too small for something like that was it something was it the thought of being killed? He often never pondered about thoughts on morality he was immortal, genus saw to it that he doesn't even think he could age,he survived everything so far and he would likely survive this as well when thinking about it realistically no matter how powerful these dragon level monster might be they would essentially get completely vaporize him to smoke to get rid of him but maybe that feeling he was for the others…despite being friendly with most of the others he didn't try to form too many attachments to them, he would live forever they would age and die their was no use in relationships like that needles worry and stressed that he didn't want on his mind as he walked with the others he held no doubt that maybe eventually he would be the last creature to walk the earth but without those he could consider peers like the other S-class heroes he figured it would be a very boring journey maybe that was what he was feeling concern for his other heroes, if the monster cadre attacked them together eliminating each one of them separately then that would be that it was incredibly risky for someone without a healing factor like his, suicide if they really thought about it but he digressed.
Now that he was leaving his head and repaying attention to his surroundings he found that his body had been stabbed in multiple locations by some monsters that got through their defensive screen must have come up from underground as he noted the holes and the beaver-like monster drilling into his chest, leg, and arm. The little critter had large spikes on top of its head which span around he could barely feel it even as it buried into his body, he quickly used his able arm to grab the one burning into his other arm before wrenching it free from his body with a wave of blood spurting out he snaps the thing's neck as he felt the functionality of his arm come back to him using both of them he reached and grabbed both of the small creatures and did the same before looking around at the rest of the heroes some of them had continued fighting like normal while others had been staring at him in abject horror or rushing to his aid but he quickly warded them off and remarked that he was fine and that they should continue on with their mission instead. Zomebieman joined in the fighting although he didn't use his own firearms army man lived up to his name and brought an entire arsenal along with him in four large barrack sacks along with an abnormal amount of ammunition for each one inside backpacks which he offloaded to the "weakest" soldier which was locust man but he didn't mind although he did mind carrying a bunch of explosive from ground zero as well especially when the bullets started to fly from the monster side.
The firefight was incredibly short-lived zomebieman pushed forwards through the hail of storm zig-zagging through the line of fire to close into arms reach while army man gave him covering fire although he did feel a few bullets hit him but the older gentlemen knew about him and knew it didn't bother him that much he would be worried about his clothes but he knew that blood would be everywhere once he actually went down into the monster association base proper, he even brought an extra pair of clothes for the occasion so that he didn't have to smell of monster guts once he left the place although it may soak into his very skin given how many were down there he needed to kill what about 60 of them right? Well it didn't matter if they came his he would just cut them all down the same, the group slowed to gather and burn the bodies before continuing forwards, Zombieman faked yawning and aimed his pistol up and shot it at the weird butterfly thing following them before he gave the gun back over to army man and wished them luck which they returned, he lit a cigarette as he entered the dark cavern, well here we go he thought as he puffed out a small stream of smoke and drew his revolver.
Group 1 and Group 10: One shotter, Lighting Max, Lighting Genji, Doll Master, Forte, Toxin(rated hero), Poison, Tank Top Mesus, Tank Top Girl, Red Muffler, Pandaman, skunk boy gas Mask, KenKettle, Fishhead, Butcher, Meat Pounder, Bone, Shooter, Battery man, Mumen rider +( 2x assault bot and 1x medic bot)
Groups one and nine despite having impressive numbers weren't the most confident of the groups once the split occurred the sanctity and security that was provided by the S-class heroes continued to fade from the group as they have gotten further and further away, one shotter relinquished complete control to Genji he was supervisor of D-city and would definitely have more experience dealing in the topic then he was so it was which Genji appreciated the group had traveled along with the robots that the mutants had provided and surprisingly things had been progressing rather smoothly for the large group monster fighting had its fare share of scraped and bruises but the medic bot was able to take care of most of the problems for the most part the real issue revolved around what would the two groups do once they got to the area if king was a no show then did that mean they would have to go in their or would their objective still be to just hold the line an wait until things blew over other in the group discussed the possibility of king having already made his move and their would just be a bunch of corpses awaiting them when they arrived making them essentially just a large clean up crew but most were inconvenienced about such a optimistic outcome especially when dealing with the number of monster they had coming their way. The assault bots with their assault cannons could handle most of them but some still got through causing the heroes to fight them off or keep them off their flanks they looked at the machine almost like a pseudo-S-class replacement for their journey so protecting them was most vital.
The group had made several pit stops to account for those that may be injured or to burn the dead bodies that littered the landscape things they were halfway to their destination before they would just wait around for the go-ahead to get clear, as they made their final approach to their destination it had in fact not been cleared out as monster waited around every corner for them to arrive, while being succeuful in repelling the threat they had lost both assault bots mostly due to them running out of ammunition and having to resort to hand to hand combat, they had sacrificed themselves for the group however when an especially strong monster had blocked the entrance to the lair this one had completely shrugged off attack from both Genji and max along with the other A-class heroes causing panic to quickly spread through the ranks mumen rider was able to rally them back into fighting shape shortly after both poison and toxin had managed to poison the creature while it didn't kill it by any means it allowed them to retreat back and regroup without it hounding after them.
the machines rushed in while the coast was clear and dived bomb on top of the target and self-detonation even this didn't kill the creature outright but heavily wounded it enough for when the heroes came back to counter-attack they were able to put it down with a combined effort although one of the hero's meat pounder had serious ash going down his leg up towards his stomach, the medic bot did what it could but, he needed to be evacuated to get treatment at one of the tents of the first aid on the perimeter, they had them queue in the coordinates and Neith had sent over another machine to take him their while also supplying them with two more assault drones in the meantime just in case something else happens, she wished them all luck before cutting the channel.
Group 11: Flash, Shadow ring, Feather, Ryumon(rated hero), A(rated hero) Crying Man, Angry Man, Saturn Man, Ecology G, Cyclops, Sharkfin blade
Flash proceeded with his objective with his rather poultry force, he didn't like going into a situation without having more details involving a plan of action he had studied the map that Child emperor provided thoroughly however given it was mostly just a topographic map it didn't really offer much in the way of guidance or anywhere specific on where he would or even should go the only thing that the map actually helped with was that he would be able to find his way out of the labyrinth at his own position along with the other S-classes were highlighted. It also highlighted his entrance so that in the unlikely event that he did get lost he would be able to get back, the base was fairly large in size but including the entire tunnel network it was almost 15 kilometers in size which made sense to him, they did have the large monster elder centipede under their employ, it would need to be heavily buried underground so that its movement would cause disturbances even if they were in the abandoned town the other towns would speak and now that he thought about it there was murmurs of something called the monster of the ghost town could that have been this organization?
Hmm maybe if he took the threat more seriously they may have avoided this conflict in its entirety, he wasn't scared of the monster coming, all of them had been unremarkable from what he's seen so far and he doubted that would change once he was alone in the monster tunnels, he was mildly curious what that girl would be capable of with monsterization it was a cheap trick to get stronger, it was a shame to given their fight he actually thought the girl had at least some talent if she kept up her training she may one day be able to keep up with at least half of what he was capable of now but since she took this route that wouldn't happen she would die here, that was if she showed herself infront of him, in the unlikely event of her turning herself into a monster just for infiltration efforts even he would have to admit that her efforts were truly extraordinary even he wouldn't have taken such thing to gain information but he knew just from remembering the girls eyes that their next battler would likely be their last as he would naturally kill her.
While Flash was idle thinking the group had been making slow but steady progress, they were hesitant going off of Child emperor's instruction that there could be a trap happening nearby they wanted to proceed with caution not wanting to spring into any ambushes that could occur but their time seemed mostly standard, there had been a couple of wave of monsters of which only a handful actually presented much of a challenge shadow ring would scout the routes ahead while the group gathered the bodies and return with information on the monster position that she was able to find and with that information, they were able to counter many of the attacks that the monsters had planned for them which allowed them a much smoother journey. Flash attempted to speak to the female ninja about the other missing female ninja and if she heard anything from the hero but she shook her head, he then informed her about her joining the monster side which going by her expression she was genuinely surprised about, so she didn't know about her possible classman's betrayal he thought, he asked the women could she kill her if the situation called for it which she answered with extreme quickness being yes, so whatever village they hail from seemed to be just as strict as his was with traitors but she did add on the caveat that she wouldn't be able to kill her given she was much stronger than she was even without factoring in monsterization, he simply nodded at before continuing on with their journey.
There was a minor hold-up when two monsters presented themselves as the tempest duo and how they wanted to get revenge on the heroes for killing their third brother, the two monsters had apparently been at least demon class being able to ward off most of the other heroes' attacks. Still, before they could revel in their victory, Flash had already killed them and the remaining dozen monsters that had sat around and watched, he continued forwards whipping out all of the remaining threats in his way, and waited for his group to catch up leaning against the side of the store his hole was located in while they were on approached he had noticed the small flying creature following after them from above he told them that he was leaving for a moment before vanishing from their sight along with destroying the butterfly creature on his way to his secondary objective.
The Mutants, Neo Leaders, Bang, Bomb, Fubuki
Class 1A had a lot on their plate to deal with as they approached the abandoned city along with the neo heroes, for a good most of them this would be one of their first time fighting the creatures openly as heroes instead of proper self-defense even the normal over confident and cheery suiryu was had quieted down at least somewhat when they had crested the city interior, the normally laid back martial artist once having been told that gokestu had been revived, lost a lot of his usual bravado in sticking around and fighting the monsters when they got the kid out only wanting to quickly insert get the kid and leave as fast as possible. There was no doubt about the information being given from either silver chain or the robots the child had still been in the exact location described on their last past over on guard duty they even managed to slip in the child pocket a device that would display a signal on his whereabouts in case he was being moved when the fighting starts.
However they had to first get to the location and setup so that wouldn't happen the first problem was technically Child emperor's fault he collapsed the multitude of cave systems that allowed for them at least some walkway to traverse, it made sense given they didn't want to give the monster any chance of escape and going back into the public but it did make their job much more difficult which meant they needed to melt, burn, or explode all the way down into the monster association base proper.
Given that this was an secretive mission and they didn't want to blow their cover to soon their best option was to utilize mina and mineta to create highly corrosive acid to bury down into the base as quietly as possible once they were inside they would then need to proceed down 20 floors to get to the holding cell located near the bases heart, each floor has hollow being about 10 meters tall from ceiling to floor so that meant that their was going to be a slightly large drop but everyone even without the suit were confident in getting down safely however as soon as they start to climb down the floor they would undoubtedly be spotted and would need to have the floors they pass covered overall they had 26 people which meant that it would nearly need to be one person guardian each floor, the S-class level combatants would each take a floor which thankfully lighted the load on the class a bit and relieved worries, Midoriya, Bakugo, Tokoyami, Todoroki, Blue, Suiryu, and Raiden would be taking a floor each by themselves, which lowered the cost at least a bit this went even more when they would gain the assistance of the three G-units inside of the base which will also take a floor by themselves to ease in their operation which all togather meant the rest of the class and neo heroes would have to take the remaining nine floor with two of their members at a time, Momo would help some of them out by creating a couple of assault bots these were redsigned and uprgrded victory bots from school but instead of duel arm mounted shields these machines both possessed duel miniguns on both sides in resemblance of her former teacher death gatling along with being black in color.
The group needed the massive group of heroes to distract from their operation so they had only proceeded when they heard the conflict of the heroes happening a couple of kilometers away when there was a rather resounding crash of what seemed to be buildings falling over the class worry grew to a fever pitch and Momo sent out some machines to assist them in case they need it at the same time Bakugo had arrived back but the class was surprised when others had accompanied him notably Fubuki and king, uraraka approached the women asking why she was their and what happened to the deal that she and her sister had about not joining but the "smaller" sister merely scoffed at that and remarked that if her sister wouldn't abide by her requests she was under no authority to abide by hers.
Uraraka tried to explain that she was likely just trying to look out for her and she didn't want to see her hurt but when that ultimately failed and Momo began to speak with the other heroes and Tatsumaki voice came through instead, Uraraka thought the jigg was up and she was going to sip over and snatch her sister from the area but after the arguing died down Tatsumaki actually gave her permission to go forwards with the caveat of they ensured she didn't get hurt, this thorted uraraka origonal plan of telling her that they wouldn't be helping her in whatever she had plan to do when coming here so instead the group reluctantly asked the girl what she wanted and why she was their and when founding out that she was simply here for revenge a lot of their faces soured in disappointment but they held their tongue at least most of them did besides Bakugo who told her off especially since she didn't even know where this DO-S was located inside of the base but she countered that's where their contact would come in and she would like to speak with them but through Momo's assault bots the person fuzzy spoke to her, he said that he would be glad to help her in her journey for revenge by taking her to DO-S lair but only after the child is recused G-flame could take her their and she thanked the man for the help and that was that, the teens clued her in on the plan and they assigned tokoyami to also accompany her in her quest once she was done they were to leave immediately back outside through a tunnel nearby said lair.
King was thankfully for his sake pulled away from the group by mineta, he could tell that the man had been constantly side-eyeing him the entire time in a clear sign of help and for a moment the teen was going to ignore it, if he still couldn't tell the truth in such a serious scenario then he was too far gone and he couldn't exactly just blurt it out right then and there due to the neo heroes present, the headmaster fuzzy would have probably leapt with joy in learning the fact that the hero association "strongest man on earth" was just a huge fraud and use that to blackmail them into doing who knows what so he decided to take a more subtle approach and take the man of to the side to speak to him one on one, as expected the man was shaking in his boots with worry and was scared, mineta was honestly disgusted by the man behavior he didn't have the right to be scared when he was lying all the time and gets himself into these situations was it just that hard to tell the truth or was he just a Pathological liar?
If that was it then he could understand and felt a bit bad himself about judging him so harshly but this was a dangerous situation if he just up and died suddenly let alone in front of others due to the myth people have of him they may become too demoralized to even fight anymore, mineta told him to leave and he would make up some excuse of why you bailed but he would want him to tell the public about his lying in return or at least retire as a hero to save himself this problem in its entirety, king rapidly bowed his thanks before quickly running away, mineta thought that maybe he should escort him out but he wanted to be there for his friends more than protecting the liar, he was good at slipping through the cracks so he may go unnoticed.
Mineta returned back to his group as they were still working on the hole they would infiltrate the base from they were nearly there on the first floor and judging by Shoji's return the S-class heroes were also getting ready to assault the base, the class was shocked that they would be the only ones going inside with likely still countless monsters just waiting underneath for them along with the cadre but if that was their grand plan then so be it. Mineta told them that king had to return back to the initial plan with Child emperor set out for him but he wished them luck in getting the kid. Suiryu, Blue, and Raiden expressed sadness that they wouldn't be able to see the man in action. Everyone stopped when Iida mention that they had another unexpected arrival this one was from none other than, Flashy Flash himself the S-class hero despite being subdued was also surprised to find how many people were there most of them wearing the same unique black body power armor, the teens all had unique variations of the suit that complemented their quirks and usage, Momo suit didn't even seem like a suit at all more like a heavily armored bikini or something you would see in a fantasy game. The only ones that didn't have armor were Bang, bomb, Fubuki, and Raiden. The neo-leader felt like it was cheating and wanted to compare himself to his rival Darkshine going with no additions, just his pure strength alone. There was a brief pause as the group looked at the single arrival but it was Bakugo that stepped forth in front of the main group and approached the man but he kept a good bit of spacing between them.
"What do you want?" Bakugo questioned in a reduced angered tone.
"I'm here to give you all a communicator, Child emperor despite his worries would like to keep in touch with you all on the off chance you are right." Flash remarked before raising the communicator in his hand Bakugo was convinced that Ninja would have threw it over but instead he walked probably at a normal pace but to him, it seemed painfully slow and place it in his hand, Bakugo inspected the small device as Flash read off the instructions on how to use it which the explosive teen nodded at, once the ninja was finished with his teaching Bakugo told him to scram which he did but not without saying something else to him.
"Are you not going to ask me to spare her life?" Flash remarked curiously making Bakugo turn around quickly with a sneer, he didn't need to know who the person he was talking about was but the question was unexpected he knew better though, not only was that not going to happen it was more of mocking question than anything else.
"She made her choice..there is nothing else to say about it…asking you to spare her ... .Hah! Even if that was actually genuine, If I knew her at all that would just be disrespectful to her resolve." Bakugo remarked simply, earning a slight nod from the ninja in response as he turned and began to walk away.
"Oh, but do break a leg…literally." Bakugo remarked as he did so, making the ninja turn his head back towards him but he only gave a coy smile in response.
"I'll be sure to honor your request." the ninja said simply in response, making Bakugo's smug grin turn into a hardened frown but before he could say anything the man had disappeared without a trace, Bakugo checked his bracer, and looked down at it for a moment and feeling satisfied turned back to the class and headed over their way.
"You okay Bakugo?" Midoriya asked but he just thumped past him.
"Of course I am, he just made things easier for me, is all." Bakugo replied simply as he continued and placed the communicator into Momo's hand and told her how it worked. She was for the most part the de facto leader of their group and she would be managing most communications with the others, he taught her what Flash taught him before he got down into the hole with the others and uses his cannons to start blasting open the ground at an even faster rate, the show was officially starting now that all the S-class were in position which meant they didn't have to worry about stealth anymore.
Monster Association
Gyoro-Gyoro was resting in his room, he could feel the anticipation in the air from the ravenous monsters he had under control like thick musk, the announcement of the battle taking place had whipped them all up into a frenzy as they eagerly awaited the heroes approach, he still hadn't figured out a solution to their bald man problem but that was something that he would have to deal with later now they had to take care of their guest and the many of them their were, he crafted a few smaller avatars to view the heroes approach they numbered a little over 100 strong which made sense, this was the hero association full force in the flesh but he was still confident that they would prevail, so he unleashed the hoards of monsters under his control and they left with eagerness to engage them and while he didn't expect much from the fodder they all performed woefully under his expectations or were the heroes just stronger than he calculated he had sent a total of nearly 1000 monsters against a march of a 10 times smaller force, he would have expected at least injuries or a few deaths of some kind but none came, the monster were mostly all to individualistic compared to heroes team work and coordination well that couldnt't be help monster weren't the best on working togather.
Gyoro-Gyoro was surprised when suddenly he felt a number of the tunnel networks begin to collapse, all of them in fact, Child emperor must have been more crafty then he realized there were only left 10 entrances and as he continued to view the heroes and their sudden separation he soon found out why as they split up their party and began to head to the designated area, Gyoro-Gyoro quickly created more avatars to keep up with each group separately any additional data that could be provided with the battle would prove paramount in the coming conflict but the S-class had barely lifted a finger even when they weren't in the large group but the little he did see would have to suffice as he sent a telekinetic to all of the cadres for a meeting.
"Yes…I see, I see… I think I more or less figured everything out." Gyoro-Gyoro remarked
"tsk … and we were just getting in the mood for some killing, why did you summon us?" black sperm asked
"So what's the plan?" homeless emperor asked
"So what do you mean you figured it out?" blac sperm continued
"Where is Flash?" silver chain spoke simply.
Gyoro-Gyoro turned to look at each of the cadre present along with orochi and goketsu massive heads in the back of the room looking inwards.
"That is why I summoned you all, the heroes seemed to have made things easier on all of us, they have segregated themselves and I know of each of their individual locations they will be coming from." Gyoro-Gyoro stated before he began to list off the routes and transportation before labeling out which cadre would go where to attack which S-class.
"What am I to do?" gokestu asked from the window as the others walked off to get into position.
"You are to continue our watch over the prisoner, you want to face bang and despite me not seeing him with the other heroes I'm confident he will be coming and his objective will be his student." Gyoro-Gyoro stated simply and despite some grumbling gokestu nodded and headed off towards the cellars. There was someone else missing in the grand scheme of things which was a major pawn, which was king..the strong hero must have known that he was being watched and purposefully kept out of sight so that he wouldn't be able to gather data on him she felt around the sector that was supposed to be his assumably but found no one walking down that direction was he just immune to his sensory abilities? He couldn't put anything past the strong man.
10 minutes later
There was a shuffle of feet that slowly made their way into his room, it was a group of fodder monsters. They all seemed scared to approach him until one small crustacean monster finally stepped up to him, it spoke about the hopelessness of the situation and how they couldn't win with just sheer numbers, and how the heroes were barely injured when they lost a third of their number these are all things he already knows but the mere fact that this ant no these group of ants dare try to assume they give up did they think the heroes were going to just let them go after all this?
So he asked them did they fear death and when they hypocritically replied no, he had enough of them the group that had come up to him he would make as an example using his powers to crush them into meat cube before sending the cube out toward orochi as a pre-fight snack just to make an example of them, they knew that they had the capability of being revival and the fact that he fed them to orochi instead should get the message across that they will either die fighting against the heroes or die here and be fed to orochi instead. He ordered them back out into the fighting; the S-class heroes were inside the base leaving the weaker heroes exposed. If one of them dared come back to speak with him it would need to be with the head of a hero or he would kill them on the spot before ordering them away.
"What will you have me do?" phoenix man asked
"Hmph…for now you will remain here, it was unexpected that the heroes would have countermeasures to your ability so quickly after only a single demonstration of it however goketsu and the other one was likely worth the risk." Gyoro-Gyoro mused before another ping on his sensors came to it wasn't someone walking down the tunnels of the association but someone blowing holes downward into the cavern, who was that and where were they headed? He checked the direction of the holes and it tracked directly towards the child. Could it be some other force? Was the S-class heroes also just a distraction for this force to excavate the child? He would send up another avatar to take a peek on top but for now.
"Phoenix man change of plans you will go and protect the child, and kill all who approach but if you deem it fit you may retreat your power is too important to lose in this conflict." Gyoro-Gyoro remarked and phoenix-man bowed.
"It shall be done." he replied simply before leaving the room and heading towards the detention cells.
