Note: This chapter was not meant to be a sidetrack chapter it really just happened to turn out this way during the writing phase, This chapter doesn't progress the underground narrative but focuses back up top on the surface with the rest of class 1A and the enemies they face, some of them might be familiar, keep an eye out and enjoy the read!
Leaving our old selves behind: The Mutants, Child Emperor, Aki
The class waited intensely for their classmate's return, All of them were worried about everyone that had ventured inside the monster association base, Momo was able to keep up with boy Tokoyami, Bakugo, and midoriya due to their battle suits, and she could monitor bang and bomb progress by using the G-unit themselves, all of them had been on a steady pace and making their way to their designations like normal. There was a mild panic when the G-unit that was following Bakugo suddenly disappeared off the radar signifying that it had been destroyed in some way but Bakugo seemed to still be on the move so he seemed to be doing alright but their may have been a malfunction as he was traveling much faster than he was before, Momo attempted to get into contact with the boy but it seemed that he was busy fighting something, she would have asked if he needed backup but knowing him he would decline such an offer but she was sure f he was in over his head he would tell them if he needed help she was certain of that at least, other than keeping tabs on the people within the base she was also keeping a constant ear out for the hero associations communications trying to keep tabs on if any of the teams on the surface would require their aid for the most part they did not except for those dealing with the tunnel where king was supposed to be located they had required aid a couple of times which Momo supported them by sending over her G4 drone and with that force multiplier their they had manage to settle down fairly well.
The ground around them started to shake and sputter, the class quickly huddle together in preparation of whatever was around, quickly enough fire erupted from beneath the earth, some assumed it was Bakugo coming back up from where he was but Momo quickly replied that it wasn't the case and he was still much deeper underground, on the surface a building seemed to have collapsed which instantly drew the teens attention as the debris started to fall down from out of the debris emerged three large turtle heads each of them was teaming with elemental build up, the teens thought quickly as a large burst of flames came bursting down the street, having Uraraka lighten them all and jump high up into the air avoiding the attack completely, game-berus had come to attack them as the other two heads looked up at where they jumped a large burst of electricity erupted followed quickly by a large blue beam, Kirishima used his awakening pillars ability ensuring to hardened everyone while KaMinari drew all of the electricity towards himself, Toru scattered some of the blue beam but it was still to much for her to completely dissipate but the amount that hit the class in mid-air did nothing but barely hurt them however it did push them out further into the air. Uraraka used the built-in compressed air canister in her suit and boots to thrust them back down but a sudden jerking motion pulled them back up and the class was shocked when Koda was simply ripped from their combined grasp, Tsu and Uraraka were about to react instantly using Tsu tongue or Uraraka grappling hooks to wrap around the boy's legs before the large bird monster could carry him off but something stopped them there minds went blank for a second and instead of wrapping their objects around Koda instead both of them wrap their objects around the class instead and even more than that they threw their classmates down into the ground below.
Aoayama and Jiro counter acted the force with their power shooting it downwards and slowing their decent enough for the class to all get their bearing and fall harmlessly on the ground with their battle suits but that wasn't all as they still needed to dodge out of of the way over an enlarged Tsu coming down on them with a large dropkick, everyone scatter and confusion quickly form in their ranks as more and more of their class actually began to attack each other, Iida, Kirishima, Kaminiari, OJiro, Toru, Momo, Mina, Jiro, and Ayoama all seemed to be exempt from whatever strange phenomenon was happening as the group of them huddle together to protect themselves from rouge members of their posse attempted to subdue them without hurting them but they had even more to worry about when monsters started to proceed towards them down the road and on top of that Koda seemed to have been kidnapped from and taken elsewhere, Momo quickly summoned four more machines types from her bak two assault drones and two sniper drones these would engage the monsters and hopefully offer enough of a distraction while they dealt with their classmates, they weren't a match for the turtle monster not matter how much they attempted to whittle away at it but thankfully the other monster proceeding dow the road seemed to act as a deterrent for the creature to use his large scale attacks.
The two assault drones fired upon the monster's mob heading towards them and while successful in taking down a group of them, a water cannon took down one of them almost immediately afterward, another assault drone was cut in half by another monster wielding a scythe that cut the machine in half. The sniper drones had split off before one had gone after to pursue where Koda was headed, taking potshots at the flying monster while chasing them down to rescue Koda. Sero who was in the midst of attacking Jiro instantly corrected himself once saren got the bearings of his mind, he sunk deep within his subconscious The dark room lit only by a single campfire in the center showed saren as usual clad in its knight-like armor but what surprised Sero was that impaled on it's sword was something or rather someone.
"I finally got the slippery weasel, This is the monster that's controlling you and your friends, be sure to eliMinate it." saren remarked as it used its gauntleted hand to crush the creature's throat.
"Thanks, buddy, oh and sorry about that Jiro, It took a moment for saren to free me." Sero commented with a small chuckle, and Jiro forgave him before asking him what was happening to him and the rest of the class he quickly explained what saren had showed him and he followed that up with giving a basic description of the monster he saw to Momo and she would take care of it from there. The sniper drone that she created scanned over the mob of monsters approaching them and finding her target immediately locked on to it and fired a shot, creating a ploom of smoke and debris from the impact, The teens that had been fighting immediately got a hold of themselves but before they could all reorganize themselves and get caught up on the situation they all heard the heated shouts emerging from behind the horde of monsters this was then answered by two blast of frost and fire blasting into the sniper drone melting half of it while the others was covered in frost all over.
The monsters quickly made room for the two individuals that were the cause of the attack to come to the forefront, the street beneath the flames monster sunk into the ground as molten sludge while the street next to the ice monster was frozen over completely etching on even some of the monsters beside him. The flame monster was a humanoid with burning bright flames that emerged from his skeleton-like head his body was covered in a thick almost molten earth like in a purple color, the frost monster was also humanoid but displayed more dinosaur-like characteristics along his face containing scales and feathers with frosty tips and aura that oozed off of them, this was also shown on his shins and forearms.
"You killed our brother!" the two remarked angrily at the teens.
"You should have thought about that before trying to pick a fight." Sero countered back now that the class was all recollected; they all turned to face off against the monsters, the two monster brothers didn't bother with a response as they instead shot beams of heat and frost directly at Sero but Kirishima and Mina step in the way of the blasts protecting him from the attack as Mina was in her phoenix man state along with Kirishima adaptation which matched her temperature the two of them completely negate the attack from the duo monster while Mina used her Alma attack absorbing the plasma from her and Kirishima and shooting it forwards in a large devisating plasma ball the blast proceed down the alley way forcing monster to doge out of the way or be incinerated from the nearly 20 ft large ball of flame some monsters weren't going to make it out of the way however game-berus was there to protect them slamming a large turtle foot in front of the others, the ball of plasma impacted and exploded off it's hardened leg however he didn't get off completely unscaved as he reared back and shouted in pain from the attack, it had managed to burn itselt down even on to his bone leaving a smokey mess of meat behind.
The turtle creature now up on its two feet at a staggering height of nearly 20 meters blasted out with all three of its heads once again, The teens reacted immediately attempting to counter the force of the creature's heads but this was just a distraction it seemed as the true intentions of the attack were to push them away, the monster below which had retreated behind the creature as it slammed down hard, the large behemoth slamming down creating a large wind gust that blew away all of the teens along with several buildings in their directions, the monster charged at the teens as the group of teens began to attempt to reorganize themselves among the scattered debris of the fallen buildings.
Iida vs Clementine
Iida quickly fought his way out of the debris that had buried him, he attempted to get his bearing and more importantly, get a read on the rest of his classmates his search was cut short by a warning ping on his head-up display systems, cartwheeling away from a slash as he took a look of the monster that had just attacked him. For this monster he knew who it was Clementine from before, She was still mostly human but she had gained almost chitinous-like armor along her arms and legs, along with almost antler-like horns on her head with a spiky hooked-shaped tail.
"Looks Like this will be our final meeting savior," Clementine remarked whimsically almost like she was playing a game, It really did annoy him as he balled a fist.
"Why? …why did you side with the monsters, the association was even willing to give you all a second chance." Iida asked seriously.
"Oh come on now, they were simply attempting to use me and the other criMinals to do their dirty work, I would have simply traded one master for another. I wanted to be free and as a monster I'm as free as I could be!" the girl remarked happily swinging her scythe around her casually.
"If you had actually stuck around, you would have known that the association is wiping away the crimes of those that had participated in this battle, you would have been free to do whatever you want." Iida explained
"Well that's unfortunate." the girl remarked sarcastically with a small giggle, Iida simply shook his head.
"Even with your freedom, I doubt that you would change your ways…I warn you, if you attack me now, I won't spare you this time. " Iida replied sympathetically before issuing a final ultimatum.
"Guilty as charged, so I guess that means that the talking is over?" the girl questioned before immediately dashing forward towards him Iida ducked a horizontal slash from the girl.
Iida returned the attack in kind with a kick to the girl's gut; his attack was blocked and he had to do an arm push-up to flip his body up and out of the way as the girl's tail came around and attempted to cut off his other leg he was using to balance himself. He spun into the air and kicked his engines into high gear Both his legs and arms engines flared active and flinging him higher into the air for a moment, he avoided the girl scythe that she threw his way before landing down and charging straight at the girl with a rocket charge if the girl wasn't monsterized he was certain that she would have likely had died from such an attack hitting her head on but instead she was merely brushed backward and her head started to have blood leak from it, despite that the girls smile never faded from her as she still wanted to continue to fight him but she was just attempting to distract him from the threat emerging from behind as his suit again yelled a warning allowing him to quickly turn and kick what was approaching him out of the way surprisingly enough the thing that had been approaching him was in fact the women's scythe as he kicked up in the air it had stopped in mid-air and came back to the girls grasp.
"You seemed to have gotten a bit better but so have I!" the monster screamed as she came at him again, Iida dodged out of the way of a spearing thrust from the woman's tail, and she continued on him with her scythe to attack the direction he was dodging towards, Iida quickly came up and raised his knee to block the strike before it could get off the ground, he was partially surprised when the weapons suddenly sprung thorn-like instructions and shot out of it directly into his chest luckily his armor was extremely resilient while the thorns were able to penetrate his outer shell but it didn't get much deeper than that which meant he didn't take any damage from the surprise attack, Iida engine boosts punch completely rocked the girl on her heels as she backed up from him a couple of paces, she had blood poured from her mouth and she was a bit unstable but she still seemed adamant on fighting him. Iida's suit was upgraded by the neo-heroes and functions as his battle suit, increasing mostly everything about himself; the only downside was that he was a bit heavier than his previous suit but he could hardly feel it.
"You can't win, I'll give you one last chance to give up now…or else I can't promise your safety." Iida remarked seriously.
"See this why I call you savior, Even after all this you still want to save me, If I didn't know any better I would say you have a crush on me." Clementine remarked.
"Is that a no?" Iida asked.
"Maybe?" the girl remarked and Iida suit systems flared a warning again as something was coming up from beneath him he dodged out of the way but was unable to get away completely unscathed as the scythe cut a slight slashing into his thigh armor but this scythe wasn't the girls it was different and held a fire edge to it, she took the weapon in both of her hand before fusing it to the scythe that she had before there was brief smoke to it as the two objects welded together creating an entirely new dual-sided scythe but that wasn't all the girl had started to undergo a transformation of some kind as fire seemed to emanate through her body and some of the more human elements of her body began to get stronger thicker and becoming more scale like that of a reptile.
"You like? I killed some monster for it, supposedly There is a curse on it that transforms you into a dragon if you can't handle the power but I think I'm handling it pretty well right now!" the women remarked with a laugh as she pointed the new side of the scythe at him and out of that emerged a semi-large fireball nearly half his size, Iida quickly avoided that and activated his boosters Recipro Burst he instantly increased in speed traveling more avoiding three more fireballs that the woman sent his way before diving in head first at the women charging her and launching out with a right roundhouse kick.
the girl caught the attack with the hook of the scythe's blade she raised it up and attempted to bring her other end to bare to slice him across the chest, Iida griped the scythe to stop the attack cold, and he used the leverage to untangle his leg, however, he had to let go quickly as he noticed that the weapon had started to heat up, he avoided two swings of the weapon before returning with two quick jabs of his own, the women snapped out with a push kick that got him away from her she continued her attack even before he had stopped sliding backward from the force of the kick hoping to slam the scythe down over the top of his head he quickly sidesteps the over the head stab but he continued to move backward as the girl would continue to twist the dual-sided weapons to make repeated attempts for the attack. Iida noticed that the weapon began to glow again which signified the fireball to come and he waited and prepared for the attack, he saw the girl pattern with her fury of swipes and seized his opportunity to strike out with a snap kick disarming the woman but just when he thought he had avoided the attack he was surprised when the girl opened her mouth and a blast of fire emerged completely engulfing him, his suit heated up but cooled in that next instant it constantly regulated his temperature and there was dust everywhere but he was mostly unharmed and the girl had seemed to be gloating over being able to hit him so he used her down guard to lash out quickly with a barrage of sidekicks, Motor kicks the attack coming through the smoke landed directly on the unsuspecting monster he could feel and hear the effect as the women screamed out in pain but before he could deliver the final blow another hard impact from above completely broke his motion as it slammed into his head.
Iida's body dropped to the ground from the impact as the fireball buried him into the earth, his suit expressed signs of being overheated and there was a sharp pain in his head but he got fought through it pretty quickly as he rose back up from the earth and narrowly avoided the scythe that had slammed down at him like a javelin, the attack had sent the weapon deeper into the earth then he was and Iida was going to use that moment to his advantage as he quickly stabilized back on his feet and was face to face with the women she was about to open her mouth again to belch out more flames but Iida accelerated reaching his top speed in almost an instant and elbowing the girl in the mouth,grabbing her antler like horns on her head and proceeding to drag her along the concrete, the fire came out of her mouth an instant later but sprayed harmlessly into the air as he continued to drag her across the ground, he looked over his shoulder to see that the girls weapons was following after them and increasing speed as it went somewhat catching up to them so Iida allowed it to catch up quickly stopped and turning around before raising the women in the air and kicking her in the back he felt her spine snap as his foot connected to it and sent her flying towards the weapon he could tell it slowed down but he has't seen anything but flash desculate nearly instantnously so it wasn't enough as it pierced and sliced through it's owners abdomen implanting itself down right next to him as it fell to the into the ground. Iida did one last glance over at the woman's body she wasn't bleeding out it seemed the scythe cauterized the wound but she was still dying that last kick likely completely shattered her spine, and he could see that the dual-sided scythe became normal again as it tipped over to the side one half of it being completely gone, the other side draconic staff still remained but he ignored it for now as he went to check up on his other classmates.
Sero, KaMinari, Mineta, Mina, Kirishima vs. Lord great white
KaMinari was the oe of the first one up in the amount of destruction going around given that he was in his lighting god state, his lighting sense was going haywire with the amount of danger signals it was sending him as he recovered from the shockwave of that turtles attack he quickly dodged an attack from some slim tentacle monsters before going around it and pressing both of his hands against the monster head and using his quirk between it completely frying the monsters brain as it fell to the ground, he moved again as a giant fist slammed down into the ground from where he once was, this was an ape like being that was three times his size with two equally large hands to boot, it slammed down with his hands over and over again attempting to smash him but he dodged again and again before dashing forwards and slamming an elbow, shocking elbow into the creatures unprotected stomach the blow hit hard and in combination with the electric shock it went down hard as it was paralyzed , he jumped up and deliver a thunder fist to the creatures face killing it before he was suddenly struck in the chest by something metallic, thankfully his armour was there to protect or that could have been bad he thought before he quickly dodged out of the way of another thrown object, it seemed to be metallic spears of some kind? He quickly dodged another one before rushing over to where it was thrown from, surprisingly The creatures that had been throwing them weren't a singular entity at all but a group of them, three humanoid bat creatures that held no eyes and giant gaping mouths in the center of their stomachs along with large ears which he assumed they were suing to locate him in all the dust and fog.
They seemed to have been attempting to launch another spear his way but upon him closing the distance they attempted to run away from him he guessed they were more on the ranged side of things but he wasn't just going to let them go especially after they just attempted to kill him so he used his spectrum launcher to launch four nodes at the fleeing suspects before sending out an electric charge at all four of them Targeted shock 500 million volts the rampant stem of electricity flowed directly to the targets frying them almost instantly. KaMinari didn't have much time to think about if they were down or not as his lighting sense flared hot white and this could really only mean one thing as he started dodging out of the way of a large chainsaw that was attacked by large 10 ft tall machines of some kind now KaMinari started to panic as two other machines showed themselves right alongside that one but he wasn't really concerned about them at all he was just concerned that he forgot the secret passcode that he was supposed to say to get the machines to just shut down or turn to their side. Fuzzy explained to them that the monster association had begun working on constructing their own machines from the metal knight drone so he offered his own assistance with his G-units and he had discreetly installed a failsafe in the advent they had come up against them of course, he was an idiot for forgetting the code which meant that he needed to beat the robots by himself.
He wasn't really worried about fighting the large machines as he casually dodged out of the way of there attacks, speeding and zipping around them with ease while his electricity not working would have been somewhat concerning if he was by himself now that he had that power on him he was feeling somewhat more confident in going hand to hand with the machines, he sent a barrage of punchs at one of them dead center and it had the desired effects as the metal crumpled and dented from each of the power punches but it wasn't enough to completely down the machine as he jumped back from a swipe of the machines chainsaw, while he was very confident in the armor he wore he was less than willing to test it out against that chainsaw if he could help but he quickly stopped playing around and instead wanted to go and see if his friends were alright as he dodged another attack from the machines before thrusting both of his hands out feeling the currents flowing from within the machines and quickly pulled them back and with it the electricity from the three machines spilled forth all at once stunning them before making them collapse as they were completely drained of energy. KaMinair funneled the energy into three devices which were his suit, his spectrum launcher, and himself but had to keep a stream of lighting out in his hands due to him being overstocked from absorbing that turtle's attacks from earlier.
He quickly dashed away in an attempted to find his friends, he quickly spotted a couple of them being Kirishima, Mina, and Mineta had been busy fighting themselves both Mina and Mineta had been back to back laying into a bunch of monsters from range with their attacks Mina's acid shot out like a high power water jet of death cutting through several of the monsters at one time but they continued to forge their way towards them Mineta for his part used his large catapult to launch his pop open orbs to create even further obstacles against the monster like clay or gelatin like substance that would stop monster in their tracks allowing Mina an even easier time in taking them out, Kirishima was doing what he did best and playing defense some of the monsters held some ranged weapons of their own and would fire at the two but he was there to tank the attack for them, he guessed that he also was like him not wanting to test the limits of the battle suits durability, he also played the role of being the more physical bruiser between the trio dealing with any monsters that gotten to close even despite all their precautions although the only one that really needed such protections was Mineta the small boy had done his own fair share of strength training but his body was just not cut out for fighting even if he was stronger than the monster attacking they had much greater reach then him and would hit him before he would even get a chance to throw a punch and his battlesuit reflected this, unlike the rest of him his suit was more geared towards range combat, both of his arms sported catapults on each of his arms like a arm mounter cross bow that he could aim and launch his pop off orbs much father then he could normally.
Mina could fight from range and close up if she wanted to the battlesuits offered strength that was similar to that of midoriya at 20% full cowling but more importantly for her, it didn't restrict her movement allowing her to graciously flip and flow out of the way of a monster that had tried to attack her from underground gripping at her leg but the acid she secreted from that area quickly released the monster grip, her suit was completely coated inside and out with an anti-acidic polymer to help mitigate the effects of her quirk and it also contained smaller holes all around it, each of which could release a pressurized jet of acid, plasma, or even solid projectiles that she could produce. Mina was about to do just that when monster seemed to come from both sides of her she hunkered down and let them surround and beat on her before she exploded outwards shredding them to pieces as the hard projectiles of her solid-state acid pierced through them all but it was definitely a risky move as KaMinari had to dodge of the way of a projectile himself, he threw the lightning bolt he was carrying as he made his presence know amongst the three of them, the attacks struck hitting a monster that was sitting in the back piercing and discharging inside of it, killing the thing instantly it was one of the last of the monsters around giving the group a room to breathe for the moment.
"Have you seen Sero?" Mineta immediately asked him
"Nah bro, you guys are the first ones I found since taking care of my own little group." KaMinari responded simply.
"Well I think we should find him quickly, The shark was here from what I saw and you know how he can get." Mina replied.
"Yeah…we all got stronger and these suits and everything but fighting a demon-level threat alone would still be a bit too much." Kirishima added.
"Speaking of what happened to the turtle? I don't hear or see him around and I doubt something that big would just disappear." KaMinari asked
"I got word from Momo, she's with Jiro and some of the others, that the large turtle went to harass the other hero groups nearby, She's trying to hold them off with her robots but none of them can do much of anything. We may need to wait until one of the other four to get back before we take it on." Mina stated.
"Ok, well let's try to get Sero back first and group up with the rest, Do any of you have any idea of where he went?" KaMinari asked '
"I think I saw him fly off in that direction when we were blown away." Mineta remarked as he gestured to the way and, not having much other indication to go off of the four of them continued forwards
.
Sero after having been blown away kept his eye on the prize, it was the only reason why he was there and his temper flared just at the sight of the creature, he discreetly had saren use his power to guide a stay piece of tape to the monster so when he was blown away he was able to find the creature again without a problem, saren tempered his body however not wanting him to rush into a losing battle so headstrong. Try as he might to get stronger saren told him that in terms of the simulations that they had run previously using the VGS, he hadn't been able to kill the monster according to the VGS the monster was around a 30-35 and he was only a .02 so he was at a significant disadvantage by almost two thousands of times but he was hoping that saren magic and his battle suit could make up for it, although saren still doubted his chances in the encounter without some extreme luck or at least help from the others even without the main four that could take the monster on by itself without issue present he believed that a group of about five or more of them should be able to take it out but despite that Sero ignored that for now as he continued forwards nonetheless flying off towards his target, they would have to fight it either way so he might as well make sure that the thing didn't get the jump on one of his friends if that happened he didn't know what he do.
He continued flying directly towards his targets on makeshift angel wings speeding past several monsters and cutting some that were brave enough to get in his way with his tape sword. He met his target quickly catching it semi-unaware of his presence that it didn't have enough time to dodge out of the way of his initial attack gatling index a swarm of razor-sharp tape came flying at the large creature before it had clearly been in the water recently going off it's rather large size or maybe it was something to do with it's large body suit that it wore and his theory was confirmed when his attack slightly pierced threw it and he saw water start to leak out from it. He had to quickly evade the large water blast that emerged from the creature's mouth.
"I gave you a chance to survive last time, now you will die along with the rest of your pathetic race!" lord great white remarked.
"Threats, Threats, Threats…you're not going to do nothing, the humans are going to win this just like how they did against your "pathetic race." Why are you here instead of fighting the S-class down below? Are you just going to run away ….again!" Sero taunted from his position above the shark, the taunt got the usual response as he dodged another geyser of water from the monster.
"What cat got your tongue? Chicken!" Sero said with a chuckle before he was suddenly cut off as the large monster shark appeared right next to him, Having leaped at him from down below Sero was completely taken off guard by the move and could only fortify himself with a large tape barricade but the force of which still knocked him down and slamming head first into the building, the shark creature didn't relent and chased after him slamming more into the building before him slamming once, twice, three times before the rest of the buildings front collapsed.
"I told you I was holding back before." lord great white remarked.
"Oh, I believe it." He heard from behind him before a sharp pain ruptured from the shark creature's back, it quickly reached back and pulled out four tape weapons: a spear, sword, trident, and an arrow which he crushed in his hands.
"I'm better than before as well. burst!" Sero remarked, still looking down on him from above, he shouted out the second spell that saren taught him and the third spell he used in the fight. The first spell was a paper clone spell, Using his tape as the sacrifice he was able to create three clones of himself with the same capabilities, The second spell he just used was velocity max which allowed him to increase the velocity of his paper to the absolute peak up to the point where they lost structural integrity which for regular tape didn't mean much but for his awakened tape meant he could hardly see them move they lashed out as his target but the wounds were surprisingly hallowed they pierced through his suit and all that and he drew blood but it seemed to only be a flesh wound as watch the monster take them out and turn to him. Now that he had the monster distracted the clone he made was able to rebuild itself and strike out in close quarters, The closer quarters attack piercing through the already wounded back managed to sink in even deeper than his previous attack but Sero continued on using his third spell, this one sacrificed the clone as it ignited all the tape making it up on fire including the one that was inside of the monster as well he heard the monster yell in pain before the explosion came a second later from the end of the spells effect.
There was a cloud of dust but before it was revealed something had jumped out of it, Sero was pushed out of the way by another clone as the shark monster leaped through the air with incredible speed again this time taking a literal bite out of him as he noticed his a large chunk bitten out of his clones neck. Sero could partially see that the attack definitely did damage as the scars on the monster's back proved as such but it was healing, The monster's suit was in tatters however and it was at least a meter and a half smaller than it was originally. The clone with a chunk bitten out of him still managed to get in the way as the monster shot out another water geyser at him while he was still recovering from the shove although the power of the water completely destroyed it.
Well it wouldn't be that easy he thought simply as he unleashed a wave of tape creating a tape shield and sword before flying down directly at the creature, The creature prepared itself to slash at him with his claws before Sero used his next spell, spike earth soon enough beneath the monster stalagmite raised from the ground stabbing into the creature's hands and feet slowing it just enough for Sero to get several slashes off with his sword before ducking backward as the creature fought through the pain broke off the earth and took a swing at him only managing to slash at the shield destroying it, the next attack was another geyser of water from the creature's mouth and Sero reacted quickly using another spell reflect it did as expected reflecting the monster attack back at him. The monster was unbothered by such a move and Sero expected it to as the last clone came into the picture going in front of the water stream and using another spell to change nature again This spell was self-explanatory and he changed nature of the water into napalm instead, it was something he learned about when practicing with Mineta with chemicals compounds, humans could definitely be scarier than monsters occasionally, he thought as the water changed into the burning adhesive but the shark didn't know that as it washed over him, the sharked again screamed in pain and his skins started to peel and boil as it took effect, it burned and burned for 5 seconds of the 15 total second time frame, the monster got progressively smaller dropping two more meters before it must have gotten used to the flaming sensation and charged at him Sero made extra sure to stay out of reach creating a barricade of tape to disguise his ascent upwards.
The shark seemed to be attempting to bury itself into the ground to attempt some relief but that wouldn't work, Sero needed to be careful he only use spells about four more times, and other than making the monster smaller and pissing it off he didn't seem like he was doing much of anything, he used the opportunity as the shark wither around to use his trump card, paper samurai taking inspiration from Tokoyami he used his tape to shift around himself in the form of large samurai armor, he also included one more spell harden to further increase his tapes defense even more. The figure was about 7 meters tall and used a lot of tapes he would mostly be spent after this but he would take the odds as he slammed his large sword down on top of the shark monster the monster was able to notice in time unfortunately and halt the attack there was a minor struggle for control before the shark got its footing and managed to push him back completely Sero quickly recovered and balanced his walking armor and got into a Chundan no ame stance.
The two of them circle each other for a tense moment, Sero noticed that on the back of large shark, monster water pooled around its fin and rapidly extended outwards, Sero was about to lacuna off his attack but instead, he halted instead dodged to the left as a long stream of energy came in from behind the monster that completely engulfed him, if he was seeing correctly it was definitely KaMinari's drive shot attacks and to confirm he felt something impact on his upper left shoulder pauldron.
"Yo man, sorry to mess up your whole honorable duel or whatever you got going on." KaMinari spoke out next to him.
"Nah man, I'm sure I would have been fish food in a couple of more minutes there. Is it just you?" Sero asked
"Nah the others are coming along as well." KaMinari remarked and as he said that others came along rushing down the street, he could see Mineta's pop-off orbs firing off at the monster that was sent tumbling after that blast, he was noticeably hurt from the attack as it took him a moment to get back up and along its fin is completely fried.
The kneeling monster being so disoriented was completely unable to avoid the pop-off orbs that trapped his hand and legs in that kneeling position, the group of five now surrounded the down monster.
"Cowards! All of you!" it screamed as it struggled to free itself.
"Yeah man, a win-a-win in my book, this isn't some game…I gave you a chance before but you made your choice." Sero replied simply.
"Let's hurry this up so we can go and meet the others." KaMinari remarked as he aimed his drive shot again at the monster.
"Be my guest, goodbye lord great white, I guess this is the end of the sea folk." Sero said and despite everything, he still did feel somewhat bad This was technically them genociding a species into extinction but it made its choice and he would have to live with it or more precisely not live with it, he thought.
As the next drive shot fired however the shark monster wasn't going to let it end so quickly, it bit off its own arm before jumping high into the air to avoid the blast, the teens all scattered as the monster came back down blasting another geyser of water from his mouth and its fingers at all of of them. KaMinari evaded and then returned the favor gathering electricity from his suit into his hand and hurling it at the still airborne monster, The monster tucked its body as small as it could to avoid the strike but it still forked out and hit him somewhat. The shock that coursed through the monster was severe enough to hamper its movements when it landed allowing Mina's plasma ball to strike along its flak, Plasma acid bit through the monster's side heavily injuring the side of its ribs were exposed the blow as his body attempted to regenerate from the damage, the monster had gotten the smallest it could be at four meters tall. It clutched at its ribs as it attempted to shoot out more water at Mina for the attack however it had to stop its attack cold as Sero continued his own sword slash enhanced with Kirishima's hardening slashed across the monster's chest spraying blood as it was flipped backward from the force and Mineta and KaMinari was there as the monster began to fall, landing on a pile of pop off orbs, the stuck monster was then struck with several of KaMinari's pointers targeted shock 50,000 amps the monster completely helpless screamed in pain as the electricity fried him and to finished the beast off Mina, Kirishima and Sero dived down his sword hardened to the max also clouded in a degree of Mina's solid state acid… Sero and Horn bodies: Diving thrust
The sword punctured into the monster completely, It twitched helplessly as the blade and acid did its work earling cutting the thing in two Once the twitching stopped Sero released his trump card and the three of them fell towards the ground as tape fell all around them. Sero breath came in quickly and low as he looked down at the dead monster, he thought that he may have found relief in its death. Or maybe that was just because his life wasn't in danger or maybe he just didn't want to feel relieved from killing something he didn't know but he would take the victory nonetheless.
"Well, one bougie man from that trip is gone, now only if we could get the second one." KaMinari quipped as he laid a hand on his shoulder but it was clearly brushed off by saren as stray tape stuck itself to his arm and slapped himself with it before falling off.
"He just joking, Saren…you sure helped me survive this long…Honestly don't know what I'd do without you at this point and having magic is pretty cool.'' Sero commented with a laugh.
" Even given a lifetime of study I doubt you could learn more than 30, your mental capacity is rather small." saren replied outwardly using Sero's body causing the others to laugh at him, Mina's laughter died quickly in her throat when she read something on her phone and quickly got Sero's attention and showed it to him, all the levity he was experiencing soon evaporated almost instantly.
"Where are they?" he questioned immediately
"I believe close by." Mina suggested looking at her phone as she focused on where they needed to go, The others were kept in suspense while Sero simply went to the body of the monster before them and used his tape as a buzzsaw cutting the thing head off.
"Lead the way." Sero remarked simply.
Scaledon, Dark, BenpaTsu, Hamukitichi, ? vs Shoji, Sato, OJiro, Toru
OJiro used his tail to maneuver most of a collapsed stairwell that had fallen down on him, he quickly shifted his body around testing and stretching his body to see if there was any damage. Thankfully there was none which he assured was due to the battlesuit he had on. He quickly made his way outside of the hut he had crashed in to figure out where the others were and if they were ok but he quickly found himself assailed by monsters he reacted quickly parrying the a strike from a insectoid monster with two large spencers, he spun the attack away from his main body before bringing his tails down hard on the monsters back given the armor he couldn't tell for sure but he was fairly confident that it's spine shattered from the blow and it didn't raise again from the blow as he continued to move away from the monster and continue his search he was about to take out his phone to see where everyone was but a shifting of the rocks tipped him off to something coming and he was right as bursting through the debris of a building was a large bear monster with two large dimples which almost made it seem like it was blushing and scar on its forehead.
OJiro quickly jumped out of the way of the large bear's charge attack but it surprised him when it stopped on a dime and pivoted on its foot to strike at him with all of its weight behind it, while surprised that a monster showed off that amount of precision the nature of the attack still allowed him to completely avoid the strike ducking under it allowing him to step in and within that same step he launched out with two straight punches directly to the monster's chest forcing it backward with a gasping weave. OJiro continued his attacks and jumped up in the air and spun around landing a direct hit with his tail in the middle of his tornado tail dance. The direct headshot against metal struck a little too true for his liking as the metal-covered quirk completely caved in the monster's face but he never minded that for now as he continued forwards looking for the others.
OJiro hopped along with his tail searching around for the others in the debris field, he thought he had heard commotion and switched course towards the direction of the sound interesting enough however he couldn't actually see what was happening which only suggested to him one thing which was Toru was fighting nearby with her awakening bubble extended outwards but why? In terms of action in the field it really only served to give her away but he guessed that may have been the point to draw attention so that others could find her, her battlesuit itself was also laced over in the same invisible skin that her traditional hero suit that was made out of, so there was almost no point in doing if she wasn't just wanting to draw attention to herself. he quickly ducked inside of the bubble and proceeded inward he knew that she was the focus of the sphere so he didn't have much trouble finding her, a more protective part of him would have initially thought that she would need help but as he arrived he saw that she was doing fairly fine on her own, in fact, it seemed to be the only reason she activated her bubble such an extent was to show off but to who was a surprise it almost looked exactly like the benpaTsu wearing the same karate uniform from his rough fist school but he was slightly buffer and this time he had a third eye that was completely yellow.
OJiro was told that some of the martial artist along with volten transformed into monsters and were subsequently taken care of by suiryu which begged the question of how he was alive right now and he quickly figured that the monster revival mission happened a couple of monsters were revived from the incident along with the dragon level monsters. He assumed that Toru had taken this as a measuring opportunity for herself as she allowed the man to be able to see her, he guessed the battlesuit would balance out for any strength increases that he gained from monsterization although he was unsure about that, the man still maintained his overly confident attitude and even more so now that he was a monster as he told the girl that he was able to see every third move the opponent made meaning she had "no hope" of beating him although that likely didn't mean much of anything for someone that could kill you in one strike and almost to emphasize that point Toru struck out fast with the whirlwind as her first move the swirling wind cut the man's legs off almost instantly the attack was so sudden that it took a moment before the monster could even realize what even happened.
The monster had started to resort to his base trait of groveling and begging for his life just how he was we he was human he should have known by now that things weren't going to go be that easy, but it seemed to be a setup as someone was silently creeping up behind her he moved to act but again there was no need, Toru spent around with incredible quickness the monster seemed human enough with spikes placed around his body one of these spikes had grown out of the monsters palm which it was going to use to try and stab Toru but she countered the attack smacking the offending hand away before returning with a hard kick to the monster gut making the whirlwind completely eviscerated the monster creating a swirling vortex that cut the monster into pieces as it was blown backward.
BenpaTsu attempted to use the distraction to run away but he only managed to crawl around 10 feet before Toru used her light manipulation to conjure several light arrows and stab them down into the monster pinning it down before using a final arrow through the head. OJiro soon made his presence known as the fighting was done, Toru retracted her awakening as the two shared a quick hug before the two of them continued to go and look for the others, they didn't have to travel very far until they came upon the next battle this one was going to be far more difficult it seemed as the two came upon both shoji and sato locked into battle with scaledon this monster was a demon level threat, Ojiro made no mistake in thinking that he could beat the monster by himself jut just like Toru previously he was curious about how much he improved since his first fight with the monster, it was rated a 25 on the VGS nowhere near strong in terms of demon level threats since it ranged from 10 - 1000. OJiro had grown stronger and tested himself multiple times with the device he was 5.8 on that scale at his max while sato near his pinnacle reached 5.9 with four sugar pills. Sato could become stronger than the monster once five sugar pills but he guessed he didn't want to risk taking that much of a strain on his body so soon, he would be completely out of the fight for the next 1 hour before he could fight again.
The large 25 feet tall monster shot out several spikes at both shoji and sato, shoji used his buddha ability to grow several large hands from the buildings to block the attack, they still had an effect on him as he dropped down to a knee from the pain, the monster was going to charge directly at them but Ojiro came down on top of the monster with a double tail drop striking the monster with both of his tails in his monkey mode, it staggered the creature for a moment knocking it off course a small bit but it recovered quickly swearing at him before launching even more spikes his way, Ojiro deflected a couple of them before going even further into his great sage mode to increase his strength and speed even more he was now able to turn some of the spikes sent his way back against the monster itself, three of them he redirected straight back at the monster but stabbing into the creatures gut causing it to roar in pain, it was going to smash him with it's fist but the speed at which it moved was slower than it initially wanted as Toru removed it's vision from it causing to momentarily panic but continue thorough with his attack on his last known location but it did allow him to easily side stepp the attack and allow him to laucnh of with a punch to the creatures face although it didn't really do that much damage and only served to let the monster know where he was as its own tail quickly rose up and came to smack him out of the air. Toru was there to defend him using a light shield to attempt to block the attack but the creature attack broke through it rather easily but it did give him time to react as he used the water stream to delfect the attack, his next attack carried the force of the blow back at its master as Ojiro lashed out with a kick , the attack landing directly on the monsters face this force was enough to completely take the monster of his feet and directly to crash into one of the buildings Ojiro leg throbbed from the attack, the perfect counter of the water stream was a devastating counter doubling the force that the opponent gave you but if your body wasn't able to withstand outputting that force it would result in problems happening he guessed in this way he could finally relate to midoriya and what he was experiencing during his time during their beginning school year days, thankfully the battlesuit illeviate that issue somewhat but not competely it seemed but it was better than breaking his bones when fighting the pain was like that of stubbing a toe or the back of the ankle extreme one moment and a little tingle after a time but wore away fairly quickly.
The monster exploded out of the down building with a huff, angrier than it was then before, Toru confirmed its vision was still blocked and to confirm that the monster had turned its back and unleashed a barrage of large spine spikes at him, Toru relinquished her light redaction and focused all of her attention in creating a strong and fortified light barrier in front of Ojiro, the spines impacts on her made her wince in pain of concentration but she continued to hold the barrier until Ojiro could properly get out of the way, the monster now that it could fully see turned around to face the four of the teens in front of him, it taunted them believing them to be "weak ones" of there group and that the four of them alone couldn't hope to defeat them and they would die there right then and now, Ojiro and Toru both taunted back that the monster was weak and that without large turtle protecting him he couldn't do anything, they were only trying to waste time as sato flushed the current power out of his system and allowing him to take the five pills instead, this would offer him a strength increase a little over three thousand fold.
with it, he should be able to take the monster on by himself but they would still support him in the endeavor. Sato's battlesuit customs additions were similar to Momo's it was meant to be able to break apart and shift as his quirk required him to as his body noticeably got larger with each pill capsule he consumed, his fifth pill state was a bulging muscle mass of how he was he grew to a height of 8ft tall and was well strong, you could clearly see his muscles, veins, tendons like he was a professional bodybuilder in there world but it wasn't all posivtives according to him it definitely wasn't a pleasant experience to exist in.
His armor would oscillate and move away from his joints and back still offering protection on his most important areas while not restricting his movement, The shifted plate would form instead at his fist offering harder punches which he was about to make good use of as the taunting of scaledon came to a head as the monster spikes flared again but instead of using them to as projectile it going to use them as spears to puncture them as it curled into a ball to run the entire group over as the large ball got closer to them they made room for sato to take the center stage as he launched off his back foot and met the monster head on launching a strong punch into the center of the monster crushing the spines there and stopping its process cold but even being slightly pushed back from it unfurled itself surprise clear evident on its face. The shock continued as sato launched a punch at the creature's face The heavy blow was able to knock the thing down completely, sato flinched from the pain of moving his new form which the monster attempted to capitalize on but Ojiro was there to redirect the blow from his friend again performing a perfect counter as he performed a leg drop that made the monster puke up some blood, it used his tail like Ojiro to flip him up and backwards but Toru blocked its vision again as sato went for another strong punch while the creature was in the air using shoji arms and a springboard to reach there faster than the monster had anticipated striking it again it's soft underbelly but despite the pain it muscled through to grab sato and smack him with its tail down below both shoji and Toru were there to break his fall with their abilities.
The monster was able to see for a moment more as it turned around and it fell using its back spines to launch out several large scales down below at the group of them, Toru and Shoji once again blocked the attack as the creature crashed down on them breaking both of their barriers with its strength but the overhead slam was blocked by sato, catching the blow before it could crush them blowing wind and dust everywhere from the impact, sato locked the creature's arms with his own which was combined with shoji powers keeping the monster pinned, Ojiro and Toru didn't miss the opportunity to strike together as they unleashed their combo attack
Whirlwind Water Stream: Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist.
the devastating attack landed with devastating power and even though both shoji and sato held off the monster it was still sent flying away crashing into the building the cracks started to form in the creature's body and soon enough the vibration completely consumed it before detonating violently, the creature's scales and spine went every which way Ojiro used the water stream encampment to protect the others from the scattered debris as the dust faded the monster was no more only loose bits of body parts and blood scattered the landscape of where it once was.
"Woohoo! We did it!" Toru cheered a bit out of breath as she threw her hand into the air.
"Yeah …we did…that was a pretty strong combo attack." Shoji remarked
"Yeah…but it is definitely draining." Ojiro remarked as he fell straight on his butt from the strain.
"gu-guys…I think there is another one out there." sato remarked as he jerked a thumb across the way, The dust was clearing away from them, and down the road emerging from what was left of it was another monster…this one was smaller than scaledon but like the larger monster it was familiar to them somehow it was Toru that had put it together though as she looked at the dark skin monster with her thighs were misshapen with several bony protrusion sticking out of them in an almost rib cage like fashion her legs, was that of raptors, along her arms were also metal like protrusion that scouted out over her body and her mouth had edge with normal lips in the center but on the sides shard shark-like teeth but what gave the monster away was the tattoo on the monster neck.
"Jackie?" Toru asked hesitantly, As the monster approached the guys were surprised by the sudden question.
"To-ru? (She shakes her head back and forth several moments before looking back at her completely motionless.) I'm sorry but I have my orders, phoenix man instructed me to follow Gyoro-Gyoro..So if you can be a gal pal and kindly die?" Jackie asked with an unusually upbeat tone giving her request before charging forward at them, Shoji reacted first using his buddha to completely try and restrain the girl, but she was slippery and fast she slipped through them all, the ones that he created on her body were completely cut off before they could do much of anything but the pain didn't seem to slower her down much at all as she continued to move forwards. Toru went to meet her in combat The two clashed three times a block, a counter, and a strike each of the two was fighting with the whirlwind however Toru was holding back her own Ojiro nodded, the red waves that he usually saw were notable smaller than before matching that of Jackie to just cancel the monster versions of the girl out, Jackie wasn't as strong as Toru was in her battlesuit so in pure contest of strength naturally Toru won out in the end meaning to pin the girl on the ground but despite that the girl continued to try and fight it all the while, screaming bloody murder, it wasn't until a massive light lit up the sky almost like a close meteorite went away that the girl had stopped her fighting and just lied there.
"What?... What happened to me?" Jackie asked suddenly, Toru was a bit hesitant to let the girl up and assumed that she may have just been trying to trick her so east she had Shoji restrain her instead with his power having hands summon around her in restraints.
"What's the last thing you remember happening to you?" Toru asked simply.
"I? I…think I remember…my- my home…MY HOME, What happened!? Are the people ok? Fred is he?" Jackie quickly said as she tried to figure out Toru's look and told her everything she needed to know as the girl started to cry but that quickly morphed into anger.
"I remember there was a shark monster there, let me go …I need to kill it! Now!" Jackie tried to say as she thrashed in her restraints Toru doubled them with her light manipulation which got her thinking of something She quickly whipped out her phone and texted the group chat, Mina had been with Sero and so after some back and forth, they had managed to give them their general location before she went to address Jackie.
"Look Jackie, an entire month has gone by since the monster invasion and the attack on your orphanage. And as for the shark monster..it has been dealt with but..ugh…I guess I'll let Sero tell you about that once he gets here." Toru remarked skeptically and Jackie stopped struggling and did as she was told the others made some around two minutes later.
Sero arrived down and threw the monster's head down in front of him as she stared in shock at the monsterized girl, they let the girl out of her restraint as a sign of faith but they all still kept their guard up as the girl made her way over towards Sero, she seemed friendly enough but they didn't want to take that chance and Neither did Sero as he blocked her approach before she could get within hugging distance.
"Am I that ugly now?" the girl quipped but Sero just shook at his head. Part of him wanted to be happy that the girl was alive somehow but he had to tell her something first.
"It's not that I just ….I guess I just want to say I'm sorry….it was all my fault.." Sero commented, a tear threatening coming down his face as his eyes glowed red.
"Wh-what do you mean what's your fault?" Jackie asked
"I…I fucking saved this thing's life when it was younger and it caused so much damage because of it…I'm so sorry." Sero said with a completely deflated tone before he let the barrier between them fall he didn't look the girl in the eyes but he could feel that she was approaching him closer The others had crowded around him but saren at least gave him forwarding that she wasn't going to kill him or at least he thinks so at least as the slap came in nearly knocking him off his feet the only reason it didn't was due to the girl hugging him roughly.
"You idiot. I …..I hate you so much …Look at me!..Look at what happened!" the girl yelled out but despite that, she hugged him tighter he may have even felt his armor slightly dent from the strain before she relented and held him by the shoulders.
"You are going to make it up to me, you hear! Killing that thing is a good start but I want more you got that! For starters, you aren't allowed to break up with me even though I look like this now!" Jackie yelled in his face and despite everything, Sero let out a genuine smile for what seemed like a long time as he nodded his head.
"Yeah sure…I'll take full responsibility in whatever form that takes." Sero replied.
"Good." Jackie responded simply before leaning in for a kiss, however, Sero warned her to be extremely mindful of her newfound teeth so they simply settled with a peck on the lips.
"Well now that that's taken care of, what should we do now?" Mina asked.
"I think we should regroup back up with the others before we do anything else." Ojiro commented as he stood up and everyone agreed as a rumble was suddenly felt along the entire city it seemed.
"What the heck was that?" Jackie questioned.
"That was likely the turtle monsters, how were we going to take that one out without the others?" Sato asked.
"If we do decide to take it on we're definitely going to need the entire class, How long until Todoroki's back?" KaMinari asked.
"Momo said he would take him around 20 minutes for the trip. It's been about 11 minutes so we have 9 minutes to spare." Mina stated.
"I think we could manage that." Kirishima said confidently.
"But first let's get back together, where are Momo and the rest of them?" Mineta remarked.
Choze, Suppon, Brut, Enjoe, Miss Piggy vs Aoayama, Uraraka, Tsu, Jiro, Momo
The Uraraka and Tsu grabbed whoever was closest to them as the large wind wave approached them but even with that precaution the class was mostly still separated from each other, Uraraka had crashed into a building which crashed down on top of her thankful her battle suit was able to take the bulk of the damage of the situation allowing her to get out mostly scott free, her suits custom addition revolved around the hands mostly given that her quirk required them to be open and available to be able to be used they couldn't be covered up at least not all the time, she could cover them by sliding shifting the armor on her forearms downwards giving her protection if she needed it but the biggest bonus from her suit was the increased strength she was now able to swing around each of her 80 tons spirals almost carelessly allowing her much easier time to attack and defend herself. She dug herself out of the rubble fairly easily using her quirk to lighten the pieces on top of her before throwing the debris high up into the air, by the time the girl was done digging herself free she had come figuratively face-to-face with another monster this one she was intimately familiar with as she reflexively touched along her throat. The monster pig and former rated hero/ cannibal was a monster even before she officially became one so she didn't change much the mask merely became a part of her actual body and she became even fatter while her skin became a pink tone, Uraraka wasn't surprised when she had revealed herself to become a monster but she was surprised to see that she was still alive after what Koda did to her that night.
She guessed that the bird monster had revied her as well Unfortunately, Uraraka wasn't one for taking revenge she found it beneath her but she was definitely not going to underestimate the monster and hold back as she did previously no more than ever she just didn't care enough about the monsters life anymore to do so. she wanted to get to her friends as quickly as possible and make sure they were ok so instead of offering any comment she rushed towards the monster swinging both of her hands forwards as two of her spirals shot out in front of her the monster grabbed both of them in her hands but the surprising weight and force behind it was unexpected as the monster slid back from catching them, Uraraka increased the speed even more by lightning herself and spacewalking forwards towards the monsters her battlesuit also had built in CO2 canister in the soles of her boots, back, and sides.. To increase her maneuverability while under her own zero gravity, the increased speed took her toward the monster as she landed a double punch against the monster's chest and stomach, of course her unarmored hands didn't pack as much of a punch as they could of but that wasn't her point with the maneuvers as she reversed thrust out of the way of a strike by the beast and launched off a kick to the monsters jaw her legs didn't have any problems her hands did so that strike struck the monster hard forcing it into a spin allowing her to tag the monster five more times with her punches before backing off again from a back swing the attack left the monster vulnerable as she threw three of her spirals at the monster open gut, making it gasp in pain.
She threw three more with her other hand but they were blocked by the monster doing so caused the monster to bruise she continued this ploy of hit and run using her space walk to dip and dodge in and out of range she was able to increase the gravity on her target by 20 times before she thought that it was enough. She touched her four fingers to her knuckles gravitic attraction: meteor storm, she quickly threw her orbs aside as she used her grappling hooks to dig deep into the ground and hold her still as everything was attracted to the heavy monsters including the debris that she threw into the air from the building she was under, they came crashing down on the unexpected monster crashing and crushing her completely. Uraraka breathed in for a moment before breathing out, keeping the bile that was building up down before moving on.
Aoayam used his navel saber to cut his way out of a small concrete structure he found himself buried under he quickly got his bearing and made his way to find the others but he had to first get through a couple of monsters before he moved forward he quickly charged his own suit, his battle suit was similar to Iida's which meant it was just an enhancement of his regular hero costume. his gray body armor was instead fashioned in complete black instead which matched his dark cape, he quickly dodge out of the way of a monster that attempted to attack him from the above, unleashing his navel nails which he used to completely bisect the offending monster in question with a quick horizontal slash, he didn't stop and pay attention to the aftermath of his attacks letting the instincts and skills that sweet mask beat into him go in full effect, each strike was similar to a sword one thrust two if he wanted to be sure but each one aimed directly to kill the opponent as quickly and effectively as possible with the least likely chance of any of the blood splashing on his person to leave himself stylish for the cameras, at first Ayoama would take his instruction and tweak it to be less harmful not in front of the man of course it would spell a very painful experience if he did so especially if the star realized he was doing it on purpose but ever since the invasion he's been embracing the style more and more and now, he was putting it to good use.
The monsters fell around him one after another as he continued didn't really matter the size of them as his navel nails cut them down, it didn't seem like many strong ones were around as he didn't think he would have been able to get that far if that was the case and to confirm his thought two punches came in at him directly at his back the blows lifted him off his feet but his battlesuit was mostly able to absorb the damage he quickly turn around while in mid-air and what he saw surprised him, the monster that attacked him was suppon or at least a monster version of the caveman to possessed three eyes and four arms but looked almost the same as he was before if not just a bit larger unlike before he had no intention of having to take the creature in alive as he charged forth towards the monster and the monster charged to meet him. The battlesuit even any strength advantage the monster held over him but he wasn't going to just slug it out with the monsters so instead as he charged forth as he did so he swished his cape around himself before activating its features invisibility cloak, the cloak could last for as long as he could keep his suit powered with his own quirk. He used the ability to quickly duck out of the way and stab into the monster with one of his naval nails before doing it again as the monster lashed out hopelessly at his original position, he finished the monster off with one of his new techniques as he channeled his quirk through his suit spouting several sabers along his body, he spun on a pivot as and acted almost like a shredder completely eviscerated sappon with his spinning star super move.
Aoyama was going to continue forwards until he was grabbed by Tsu's tongue as she flung him away from an Ice and fire blast that was aimed his way, The two only momentarily greeted each other before turning to the two monsters in question. Aoyama knew about Tsu's bad matchup with ice so he offered to take the ice monster away if she could handle the other one on her own, she took a moment to consider the offer but she believed that she could and with that, the two of them worked together attempting to separate the brothers and the easiest way to do that was for Tsu to get large, she assumed the power of the beelzebufo her battlesuit completely broke down and apart as her body grew larger and larger reaching her full near 14-meter size.
Her battle suit was meant to come apart and back together again as her size shifted, She turned and launched a kick upwards that blew both brothers high into the air, Aoyama used that opportunity to strike while they were in the sky using his suit to rocket upwards and push the skywards ice monster away from its flame counterpart the flame monster attempted to help his brother but Tsu used her tongue to wrap around the large figure and slammed it down into the ground. At her size, she could have easily swallowed the monster whole but she first and foremost wasn't comfortable doing such a thing and secondly, the risk of the monster just burning her from the inside out was incredibly real and worrying she would have thought the large slam would have been enough to put the monster down but apparently, it wasn't as a raging inferno of flame flew up directly at her head, she reacted quickly by shrinking down back to her normal size, her battlesuit pieced itself back together. along her body.
The smoke that was kicked up from the slam still lingered but Tsu could hear the monster taunt her through it telling them that she should have just stayed in her larger state and that he just made her easier to fry before a large burst of flames cut through the smoke straight at her but Tsu was unbothered by the attack as she summoned the power of the waxy monkey tree frog a thick clear wax extended over her entire body allowing her to wreath through the flames and charge directly through the flame bath, she summoned two more frog powers as she did so that of the hairy frog and that of the poison dart frog. Her battlesuit was mostly hands-free allowing for easier use of this specific ability mirroring her friends. She continued through the fire which shocked the monster and allowed her enough time to stab into the creature it was a gamble if the tetrodotoxin would affect the monster but what she could feel from wrapping her tongue around it she felt that it wasn't just a fire elemental but had a physical hard body underneath and as she stabbed into it, it showed. The monster immediately tried to reach out but its hands started to convulse before he could do much of anything she retracted the toxic cover bone claw from the monster and stepped back as it collapsed on the ground shaking violently on the ground before it stopped. The flames that were around its body died down and the skull fell away from its body as it did so. Tsu paid it no mind as she continued to go and see if Aoyama needed help.
Aoyama fought the ice monster to a standstill and prevented it from going back to support its brother the two of them battled in mid-air battling and using his navel lasers he clashed again and again with the monster, the monster attempted to get a hold of him and freeze him that way but not only was there suit hardened against temperatures but also his sparkling amor which clouded him in an aura of his own quirk that prevented the monster from doing so. The fight came to a final head as Aoyama used his ultimate attack supernova the blast clashed with a similarly large ice blast from the monster. Aoyama was getting pushed back for a moment but a helpful attack from Uraraka to the monster's back broke off its concentration and allowed Aoyama to overtake it in the struggle and overwhelm the monster and vaporize it. Aoyama thanked Uraraka for her help as the two of them landed.
Tsu quickly joined them and the three discussed where the others could be but a loud crash sounded out near the two of them, The trio went to investigate and carefully crept up to where the actions were, there were four robots engaged with another entity this one was a smaller humanoid that was all purple and had two large horned in the center of its head, it didn't seem that tough but the going off the Heavy bots that Momo summed to go against it they have likely mistaken the rockets it may no moves to counter or even block the barrage of missiles sent its way ok. As the smoke cleared the monster was completely unharmed by the attack and proceeded to walk slowly down the destroyed street each of the robots was reloading their weapons for another barrage but they were haphazardly destroyed with incredible speed.
The three were shocked by the speed of the monster barely being able to perceive its move to attack the creations, they ducked down and murmured amongst each other their next steps but the surprise appearance of Jiro and Momo from under an invisible cloak suddenly caught them of guard nearly spooking them in the process, the five of them discussed what was happening the monster below was clearly a cut above the rest of them and try all she might Momo was using the G4 drone to distract the turtle monster and on top of the heavy drones she had also previously sent out the monster association robots with overridden codes to attack it but they were also defeated. Momo had waited on the go ahead from fuzzy that she was allowed to create another GWind unit after he clarified that it was currently inoperable so she wanted it to self destructed so that she could create a new one to be able to fight the monster eventually the monster had went to the roof tops muttering to itself about where did the "lower lifeforms" go, eventually once Momo got the go ahead a large light blitzed through the sky and the monster seemed frozen for a moment so she used that moment and proceeded forwards creating the Gwind unit before unleashing it at the monster, in terms of rating the monster was obviously a demon given that it was able to walk through her other bot fairly easily but this one should prove more of a challenge at least she hoped it was rated as a 200 on the VGS scale which while still lower than G5 was a boost over the initial G4 unit, however the GWind and GFlame units were meant to fight as a unit instead of individually together they could beat a G5 albeit the odds weren't in there favor.
The monster launched off and the monster reacted nearly instantly as well countering its attack before returning with one of its own but that was countered by the machine as the monster was punched in the face sending it flying downwards towards crashing into a building and making it collapse, the monster rose up quickly with a slightly bleeding from the attack. The monster started to gather energy in the center of its horn before launching it out but not at the machine but they, Ayoama had tried to counter it with his supernova but he was getting pushed back rather easily the attack nearly struck them until the Gwind unit was there and kicked the attack away from them and directed to the sky where it exploded sometime later in a large explosion in the air. The robot dashed forwards at the monster at extreme speed and the fight between the two was a blur to the group but it only lasted for a minute before it came to an end the machine had the monster's head in his hands and before dropping it on the ground in front of them and waited for more instructions. The close was clear so the group had a moment to breathe and catch themselves Momo imagined that the large explosion in the sky would draw the others to her so it was only a matter of time before they would get there and as she looked on her watch for everyone positions she confirmed that fact all except one of them, which was carried further away and she instantly knew what she would task the Gwind unit to do as she told it to go recover him although there were some restrictions with that command.
Aki and Koda
As Koda got his bearing from being carried away from his friends he quickly noticed who the bird monster that was carrying him was it was furakuro, it was a fairly turbulent flight as the bird monster ducked and weaved out of the way of several bullets, it told him to call them off of at that rate he wouldn't be able to meet his "special friend." Koda understood where the monster was getting and sent out a telekinetic message to Momo to call the machine back and that he would be ok although he didn't really know that for sure as he was carried away some four minutes away before he was unceremoniously dropped down onto a rooftop, the height of the drop was of no concern given his battle suit, he made a hard landing slightly craving the rooftop with his bulk. He stood up and looked around and he was not disappointed about who was there.
"Aki." Koda remarked as he looked at the adult bear monster, she hadn't changed very much since he last saw her. She may have been a bit bulkier but she maintained her mostly red bear body with tiger stripes along its back and stomach with a white tiger tail to match.
"Koda….you got a new hero costume I see …does it make killing monsters easier?" Aki asked and other than the fact that she spoke normally her question or rather assertion was an indication that she knew what he and his class had been up to.
"It's not like that Aki, I…don't want to fight you-" Koda was cut off as a large crash could be heard from behind him he turned around in time to see that where his class had been the large turtle monster from before he was worried without any of the S-class individuals present he didn't know if they would be able to beat that monster not to mention if there were others monster around there as well but as he took a step to move in that direction wanting to check if they were ok he heard movement from behind him and something blurred into his line of sight and smacked him from the front knocking him back and away from the roof's edge into a side radiator his head rang for a moment recovering but his body was ok even as it crumpled the steel plan of the machine around him. He found Aki there in front of him. She tossed a single glance towards the large turtle and then looked back at him.
"You aren't going to make much of a difference over there, you know how strong game-berus is and there are some other strong individuals over there as well. We were given orders to wipe you guys out and recover the kid if we could." Aki remarked simply, Koda got up and shook himself off.
"The hostage is gone, So what is this? Are you trying to protect me?" Koda asked honestly The bear did its best attempt at a shrug moving its head up and then down back into place.
"I don't know … I guess if any monster was going to kill it might as well be me right? The one you lied to…I thought you guys were different than the other heroes but you guys are just the same after all huh killing monsters just because of it huh." Aki stated.
"You know that's not true, the monsters you call friends now are waging a war against humanity. They knew the risk when doing so, they aren't like you or torax They never wanted peace to begin with, and most of them don't, Putting them down is the only hope for peace." Koda defended
"Then you and your friends understood the risk of coming into a warzone if some of them are "put down" then so be it right?" Aki replied, Koda didn't respond and was angered by the reply but he knew she was likely just trying to get to him. Was she offering him to just stay there and see which side won out in the end? He wasn't one to stand there and just let his friends fight alone no matter the odds of his own survival in the coming fight he could see the turtle monster walk off somewhere from where he was initially. Did that mean that they were?... He shook his head no he believed in his class even without their stronger members were better than that and he would go investigate for himself what the results were as he used his anivoice and horn to call upon all the animals within 40 miles of himself and channeled all of that into his feedback ability.
"I don't care if joining the fight won't change the outcome of the battle, I'm Going to help my friends." Koda remarked as he braced himself and launched up high into the air over Aki's head, he kept a keen eye on the bear monster so when she suddenly grew larger to intercept him he was ready launching off with a punch to the girl which the bear must not have expected the power behind it as the girl was knocked off balance from the blow but she did serve to stop all his forward's momentum making him drop like a rock with her off of the roof, the two collapsed in large pillars of debris and smoke.
"What do you want from me Aki? Why won't you let me go help my friends, do you really want to kill me yourself?" Koda asked as he stood up.
"Of course not, idiot! I just...I just want to leave this place and I'm not just talking about this battlefield but this planet hell this universe! I want to leave it all behind me. And you can do that, right? I assume that you guys are going back eventually right? Silver chain said so." Aki stated.
"We are but that will mean absolutely nothing to me if I lose my friends here, if you want to come back with me help me save them or stand aside," Koda demanded but Aki shook her head.
"No, as I said if you go there you will just die like the rest of them. I won't let you throw your life away." Aki declared
"Don't underestimate my friends and don't underestimate me. I'll go through you if I must. " Koda replied before getting into a boxing stance.
"You will have to." Aki replied simply as she prepared herself as well.
Koda merely shook his head before going about to charge forward as he saw a large light lit up the sky, Aki for a moment lost focus as she paid attention to it but Koda stayed focused as he tried to speed right past the distracted bear, his movement got the bear attention more than the light did as she was right on his heels as he moved past her, he felt her large paw swipe out to hit him to the side as he crashed into a building he quickly swapped tactics releasing a Vice Shout to attempt to stun her but she seemed to have been immune to its effects as he came at her with a straight punch it was easily blocked by the bear as it reared up on her hind legs lifting him up in the process and slamming him down one and twice before tossing him behind her, Koda despite the pain stabilized himself and landed and charged again.
Koda continually attempted to get past the girl without hurting her but when that became evident that it was impossible for that to happen he attempted to fight her squarely The fight between the two of them wasn't much of a fight even with Koda's battlesuit and wide ranged feedback he was still not as strong as the bear his attacks were easily blocked or just straight up tanked by the bear and delivering a swift and firm counter but none of them had any killing intent only wanting to push him backward and again and again. Another explosion rang high into the air and Koda got even more desperate to see what was happening but the odds were in vain as he tried. The only thing that stopped Aki from fighting was the sudden appearance of a machine, it had kicked Aki from behind and completely took her off guard sending her crashing into a building she exploded out from it enraged but Koda got between the two to stop any more fighting as Momo voice spoke through it. The girl told him that everyone was okay and well which he was relieved to hear, he told them that he was okay and with that he explained to them what was happening with Aki. Just as the bear said she stopped fighting immediately and surrendered herself to Koda, the three of them made it back with Aki under constant supervision and there he met the others and they all circled around Koda to give the large boy a big group hug.
There was a pause as the group looked down at Aki and Koda's explanation of what happened didn't really serve much to alleviate their issue with the girl or her plan but to most of them all that mattered was that Koda was ok and the fact that he didn't have any severe wounds indicated that she wasn't really trying to hurt him the entire time, that was all and besides what was another monster Jackie was saying. Aki asked what had happened to Game-berus and if they defeated him and Momo remarked that the monster had gone to harass the other heroes she guided them towards where Bakugo was heading towards the surface, and he said that he would take care of the monster and that they should just "stay out of his way".
Game-berus vs Bakugo
Bakugo didn't think he would be saving the other heroes when he first arrived back on the surface given that he was carrying some dead but important weight he had to first find the right place to store it so it wouldn't get in the way, now that he thought about it he did remember the monster saying that the other ones were on standby to attack the surface did that mean they were attacking the others right now? The large turtle game-berus was strong he had to admit but he was able to finally beat it in the simulations a month ago so he was confident in being able to take it out here and now. He felt the vibrations of the large creature and could see the tips of its head over the several rooftops, several explosions rocked against its carapace but the thing was barely budged by them as it continued forward he saw it return fire with its head and the next barrage of attacks dwindle bit by bit. Momo told him that she was attempting to lead the monster away from the other heroes which were all fine and dandy but he needed to know where they had been moved to so he told the girl to use her machines to check over the area when he engaged the monster once she confirmed to be doing so and he finally found a good spot to stash his dead weight he finally got a move on heading straight for the monster turtle in the distance.
Once Bakugo got in range of the monster he flew overhead and released four Claymore cartridges dropping them down directly over the monster's three heads, he immediately followed up the attack with his AP- Machine Gun as soon as the Claymore mine landed against the creature neck his second attack soon followed up causing a massive explosion that blew up the entire creature was engulfed in a shroud of smoke and he smiled when he heard a grunt of pain from the monster. As the smoke cleared he could clearly see that the monster was recovering from being pushed over by his attack, Bakugo smile grew even wider at that.
"Ugh…you again…when will you learn that it's worthless!" the turtles screamed as he opened fire with one of it's head that shot out electricity Bakugo avoided the attack but was surprised when in the midst of his dodge another attack came flying at him this one was from the flame head, he didn't have time to evade so instead he braced himself raising both of his gauntlets in the air to cover himself they fanned out in the circle shapes on each end providing completely coverage his battlesuit protected the rest of him from the brunt of the damage the only thing that flame did was get him sweating even more than he already was which he definitely appreciated as he used his new found sweat to propel himself even faster down, his battlesuit allowed for him to use set off explosion from not only his hands but along with his back in combination with his legs they dramatically increased his speed, the monster attempted to attack him with another one of it's heads the blue navel like beams that Ayoama fired even in it's scattered airgun patter it was simply to slow to track him as he dashed in close tot he monster and placed both of his hands against the creatures chest and unleashed another large blast explosiove cannon x6 the cannisters on his guanlest seperated and opened up and fired the large blast was even strong enough to send the near 20 meters tall behemoth flying off it's feet desotrying multiple buildings in the process, Bakugo was somewhat happy about the envioorement they wee fighting in everyone was evacatued not that it had many people to begin with so it was like they were fighting in a USJ construction area back at there home.
The only snag was worrying about where the other heroes were, They were fairly far from where the closest group was initially located but there was no way that they could tell if they had transitioned since then and where they would be located now, so he asked Momo again if there was anything even resembling a friendly within a kilometer's distance from him and the girl confirmed that there was none so he could let loose all he liked, with that confirmed he was more than ready to do so, he was still a bit angry so killing this monster was the perfect way to blow off some steam speaking of which his entire body started to radiate steam, he could feel his sweat pores open up even more and the large turtle monster recovered enough to stand up again, there was a large gash on it's stomach carapace and blood was all over its legs.
"You should have just stayed in your cage!" Bakugo remarked to it as it clutched at the open wound on its stomach before spitting off some blood to the side, It didn't seem to have any witty retort now and Bakugo just continued to smoke through the steam, the monster did start to heat up Bakugo remembered this attack it was the same like last time it's body glowed with heat so much so that the surrounding environments started to melt beneath it and it's entire body lite up with a red glow.
"If you're so cocky now I hope you don't try to run away." the monster taunted.
"Hah! Wouldn't dream of it!" Bakugo answered back as the steam still coalesced around him, The two glared at the other for a moment before each launched off in a direct collision The monster cured into a ball and charged forward Bakugo went meet him bleeding steam and smoke that he used as he started his signature spinning move, he condensed numerous sweat spheres as he did so holding them back for the exact right moment, as he closed in he release them into his sweeping storm ad unleashed one of his ultimate attacks
Howitzer Impact: Cluster the attack was extremely close range; he actually felt the turtle's shell before the sweat spheres and his hands launched into a massive multi-layered explosion! This explosion completely rocked the surrounding landscape creating a 1.5-kilometer long creator in the earth in which nothing existed but paved land, The blast wave shook, shattered, and blew away all the buildings within a range of 200 meters, the other heroes not aware of the battle reacted with the shock of what had just occurred seeing some of the large explosion eclipse the buildings next to them and the wind felt from the attack so strong that it knocked some of the more unprepared over from the pressure.
Bakugo sat in the center of the large 200-meter creature, The large nearly meters turtle was completely gone nothing of its body remained, Bakugo arms ached once or twice and his body was incredibly hot and he had to take several breaths to get his breathing straight as his battlesuit had entered a small cooldown period to evacuate and disperse any remaining steam around him while attempting to cool him down with in-built cooling systems.
"Hey!" Bakugo heard the unrecognizable voice and immediately turned ready to fight again but he stopped when behind him was just a kid, not just any kid. This was that S-class kid Child Emperor, The boy held his hands up in an attempt to tell him that he came in peace, Bakugo rolled his eyes but dropped his hand.
"What do you want? Fights over already you were late." Bakugo remarked simply.
"I…I can see that, Where are the others?" Child Emperor asked, Bakugo took a moment still regaining his breath.
"Why do you care? We weren't included in your plans, you don't need to know about ours." Bakugo bit back.
"The same could be said about you, others could have died from that attack you did there. How would you know if no one was in that direction?" Child Emperor challenged.
"We kept our tabs on you obviously, I don't just use my power without those careful considerations." Bakugo remarked simply
"How exactly did you keep tabs on us?" Child Emperor asked
"Wouldn't you like to know." Bakugo responded simply.
"Look I don't have time for this, there's another child down there and you're wasting time stalling where are the others?" Child Emperor asked getting frustrated
"Just shut up and follow me." Bakugo remarked simply as he finally got his breath from him before he tested his arms for a moment and tried to use his explosions, his arms still felt a little tight and he figured that the battle was definitely not over yet so he elected to just fly by his boots and the slower pace allowed the child hero with his helicopter backpack to keep up with him, Bakugo first went to go get the monster that he stashed away and was happy that it was still there just the way he left it ignoring the child heroes questions on what he was doing before he took off again back towards his friends. He landed five minutes later and at that same time todoroki seemed to have returned as well, he checked over everyone and noticed that there were two more additions to their group although one of them he already expected to be there. More than his own friends the bear was the one to reach him first, he told the child hero not to make any moves as well he shook his head at his friends who seemed to be ready to attack the bear except for Koda who was, he threw Asterius body down in front of himself along with the minotaur two swords the bear stopped as it got to the headless portion before just looking down at the dead creature, it didn't look at him or show any hostility and Bakugo simply walked past it placing a single hand on its shoulder in some consolidation before moving forwards and demanding that Child Emperor did the same of ignoring the bear monster.
The group quickly came together and started to discuss amongst each other the bakusquad, all praised him for the large fireworks display and that meant that he guessed that the turtle was no more and Bakugo remarked that of course it wasn't, he wasn't going to lose twice to the same opponent, especially not a demon level monster. Bakugo asked about the situation revolving around the others inside the base, Tokoyami was doing fine and was still making his way towards their objective however hey had lost tabs on bang and bomb, the G5 machine that was escorting them had miraculously been destroyed extremely quickly, likely a single hit the main and suit along with the core which was likely something only a cadre would be capable of such a feat and so now they were thinking of what they could do next and should they send some more to help them or not but that discussions were derailed when Child Emperor coughed to get their attention, the class all turned to look at the child hero mostly unamused, Child Emperor just openly sighed.
"Look I know you guys have no reason to work with me here but I think it would be best if we all work together now that we're at this point, Sorry for not believing you guys when I had the chance but you should know that I had my reasons." Child Emperor offered, the class did glances amongst each other for a moment before all nodding to that.
"What do you want or need from us?" Momo asked.
"Well first we should begin by sharing any information that we have between each other, you mentioned bang right? I assume he was searching for garou but who else is down there?" Child Emperor asked
"Bang and his brother bomb, Fubuki and Tsukuyomi, and finally green savior deku." Momo explained.
"I see Well that's good the more forces we have down there the better, The monster had gone beyond my expectations regarding their strength, I took out the phoenix man monster before making my way back up." Child Emperor informed them.
"Ooh, guessed Tokoyami was a little late." Sero commented off to the side
"...while I was down there I met your informant. She saved me actually after it was all over and brought me back to the surface."
"Bullshit, she's dead." Bakugo accused and Child Emperor turned to him.
"I assumed you all knew about the phoenix man's ability to revive monsters right? She was dead but during the end of my fight it revived her." Child Emperor spoke.
"Where is she then?" Bakugo immediately asked
" She's doing nothing, she said she wouldn't attack anyone but she won't support us due to flash. I was hoping one of you could convince her to join our side and not just waste away, she's a cadre, it would be much easier if she offered her strength." Child Emperor stated.
"Why would you seek a monster's help?" Koda asked
"Look, she offered us information and saved my life. She may be a monster but she did everything to help us in this fight even though…I didn't accept any of it ... ..oh and if you're going to talk to her I would suggest bringing her some clothes ... .my final attack vaporized them or maybe she simply regrown that way." Child Emperor said with a shrug, Bakugo looked at Momo and the girl nodded in understanding as he went to address Child Emperor.
"Where is she?" Bakugo asked and Child Emperor simply tapped the earpiece he was using, bringing up a holographic map of the place which included a number of blips that highlighted where all the others were. Several of them were stopped in motion but the child pointed to the one that was labeled Flash.
"This is where I last saw her. I don't know if she will still be there but that would be your best bet." Child Emperor stated as he watched as Neith power in person the girl had printed out a suit of some kind but she seemed to be analyzing with some sort of helmet attachment before she created with another identical suit as the first one she created completely disappeared, his curiosity was definitely peaked by that stunt as the girl handed the boy the suit as well handing him a radio piece that was identical to the one that he designed, taking a look at his map it was indeed identical no not just identical it was the exact same the system attempted to clear up the confusion of seeing the spare in two separate locations but he instantly corrected the information and designated the second blimp spare two. They watched as the explosive teen jumped back down into the hole before they all turned to address him once more.
"So what will you do now?" Neith asked
"Well you said that there's another child down there and atomic samurai found him but he was engaged by another cadre so he couldn't capture him at the moment, I'll go and search as well. What about you all " Child Emperor remarked
"We will continue to stand by and offer our support to the surface team if they so need it." Neith replied, Child Emperor nodded at that before he gestured to be able to speak with Neith by herself.
"Neith, I have a request for you…I know this may sound selfish but I need you to do something for me. How does it work?" Child Emperor asked
"I can create anything that I know the atomic configuration of ." Momo spoke
"Just the atomic configuration?" Child Emperor questioned.
"Yes however this would also need to include the materials, parts, and coating if you would like an exact replica of the object." Neith clarified.
"Ok…Ok well given the machines I saw you summon so far how much can you create before you're tapped out?" Child Emperor asked
" For now my limit is 200 tons, however, I have already expended 84 tons of such from the machines I've created so far." Momo stated
"I see, Would there be a problem if I ask you to create a machine worth 60 tons?" Child Emperor asked
"I would not be able to make such a thing immediately, it will take time for me to figure everything out." Momo stated again.
"That's fine, that's fine, I don't need it now and I don't know how long this battle will last and the surface seems fairly clear, I think you will have time to do some reading right?" Child emperor questioned
"I suppose that could be arranged." Momo remarked and Child Emperor pumped a fist before starting to quickly tap away on his laptop before popping out a USB, he assumed she had something to process the data on and she confirmed that she did and with that failsafe out of the way he to went go drop down the hole but she stopped him this time.
"Child emperor I was told that you know what transpires behind closed doors in the hero association but how much do you actually know?" Momo asked suddenly, The question itself made Child Emperor grip his head as the forced memories flooded his mind again.
"I know basically all of it, why?" Child Emperor asked curiously where the girl was going with this.
"I was just wondering if you were interested in shopping for different avenues for hero work." Momo remarked ambiguously, Child Emperor was curious and now that he got a look at her and the others he noticed that all of them were wearing battlesuits of some kind, each of them unique in some way but they bore a striking resemblance to the suit the mercenaries wore.
"Did this secret agency where you got the suits?" Child Emperor asked
"Yes, they are very well made and all of us will attest to that, however, I can't go into too much detail but just know that they have their doors open to you as well, they believe that you show incredible promise" Momo remarked as she reached into the side of her thigh armor, pulling out a thumb drive and handing it to him.
"The association is corrupt so I think a competitor should take the field. I'm uncertain myself on the authenticity of this new agency, however, it will likely only be in humanities' benefit to have a second option for heroes to engage in." Momo clarified and Child Emperor only nodded at that before stowing the thumb drive away and turning away to make his way towards the hole and drop inside.
The class waited outside for some time all waiting and recovering from the battles they just faced so that they could be prepared if anything more happened, it didn't take too long for the call to come in, it was from Tokoyami he told them that they had successfully found DO-S although the mercenaries were killed by whom was the most shocking as it was none other than sweet mask that did so but more than that instead of retreating backward they were going to be going towards the monster mistress base to go and search for her other captives that may need assistance escorting them out, the robot highlighted a section for there escape however thanks to Child Emperors plans it was caved in by rock and debris which shouldn't be much of a problem for them to clear and with those instructions out of the way the entire class started to move to have Uraraka lighten them all and fly off.
Bakguo and Silver Chain.
Bakugo quickly made his way down into the bowels of the monster association for the most part he just needed to retrace the same steps he did when he first went down there, there was a notable lack of monsters since he was last down there it was for a moment fairly disturbing if he sat there and thought about it but his thoughts were completely focused at the moment at as he zipped through the hallways before breaking a hole in the floor below where he saw a large cavern, he didn't really need to see the directions to know where he needed to go next there was a large hole in the ground which gave him a pretty good indicator on where he needed to go he followed it down not without peaking upwards and seeing how far the place up the hole actually started. He continued down and was greeted with a fierce flame and hot wind, he couldn't very much see much of anything happening other than feeling what was happening and hearing the sound of several impacts, but as soon as he heard them they fell silent, he landed down in the large empty room before he searched around the dimly lit area and soon rough found his prize the girl was as Child Emperor said just sitting there on the ground her legs crossed she probably already knew he was there so he didn't bother with sneaking up or bothering to hide his presence, he stomped his way over he was still despite that he couldn't help but notice the girl was actually naked so he only approached so far before throwing the clothes over her.
"Here! Can't have you just being down here naked." Bakugo responded with a huff as he turned around and sat down facing away from the girl. He heard the sounds of movement and the girl spoke to him as he assumed she got dressed.
"Thank you but it was unnecessary. I have still yet to decide if I will ever leave this place or not." Silver Chain remarked simply
"Why?" Bakugo questioned
"Because I lack purpose, I can't beat him …heh…even after eating the other two and gaining some of their power I still don't think I can." Silver Chain spoke out.
"Maybe that's a sign to just give up?" Bakugo replied simply
"Those are strange words coming from you." Silver chain said Bakugo felt the girl against his back but he didn't turn around to face her as the two sat back to back against one another.
"Yeah, I'm not saying to stop trying to get stronger hell no but you can stop trying to kill the guy at least, you told me you had dedicated your entire life to trying to kill him well you did and you failed, now you have a second chance at life don't waste it following after your first one. You can do whatever you want with it." Bakugo responded.
"Maybe but my past life will always be there standing over me, Flash and the clan." Silver Chain replied simply and then there was silence for a few fleeting moments, the walls seemed to rumble around them from the battles taking place around the place. he heard the chatter over his class coms before finally looking at the girl in question She was curled in on herself laying on his back, he shifted around and wrapped his arms around her.
"The fact that you didn't go through with your other plan means that you still have some purpose you want to do before you actually kick the bucket, but I'm glad that you didn't. I'm not going to try and convince you to let go of your hatred and help us stop these monsters. I'm not that persuasive of a person, you either are going to do it or not but the one thing I do want from you is for you to live …Slyvia." Bakugo spoke honestly at the sound of her name. She looked at him and tightened the embrace for a moment before she pried his hands from around her.
"I don't know kaTsuki, This life may not be worth living now that I'm a monster without a clan…without anyone." Sylvia replied
"That ain't true I'm here now, aren't I? And my friends sure as shit don't mind you being a monster besides you can still appear human you can likely finally start living a normal life." Bakugo replied, It wasn't what he wanted to truthfully say but close enough to it for now.
"I see, maybe …I'm still undecided however, I will offer some helpful insight that you can pass on to the others, saitama is in P-city right now, if he is here then the battle should be easy for you to accomplish orochi fears him they all do." Slyvia remarked and Bakugo was a bit stunned by that but nodded his head in understanding they shared one final hug and Bakugo left leaving the girl still down in the hole he didn't know if he helped her decide or not but hopefully, she helped them out eventually, he would regroup with Tokoyami first and then- what the hell is that?
End Notes: Ah a little ending note cliffhanger, Interestingly Enough Jackie's revival was definitely not a part of the plans initially but It just happened because I thought it be somewhat more interesting, kind of like a living reminder of Sero's sins. Next chapter we are going to get back on track with the main story following along Sweet Mask, Atomic and his disciples, tank top master Puri-puri's prisoner, and Tokoyami's adventures down in the base. All I'm going to say other than that is that the next chapter is gonna be controversial to some of the OPM fans, so be prepared on the 15th! See you next then!
