Despair: Tank tops, Atomic Samurai, Mutants
"Its….it's a cadre! Help! Master! Tank top master is..! is…He!... He's! Dead!" Tank top vegetarian screamed over the comms unit as he clutched at the upper half of tank top master, the screaming man had jogged everyone from their stupor and with that, all of the tank tops in the vicinity started to panic and run away screaming none of them dared to even look back, some even separated from the pack and went in different directions.
"Where are you all headed? I take it to mean that you all are incredibly weak, good now I can release pressure and have my fun and the game is already afoot… I always love a good game of cat and mouse!" nyan remarked with demented gli as it licked along its long serrated blade-like nails before dashing forwards, catching up to first of the fleeing heroes almost instantly and lopping off one of the slowest ones' legs, ah it seemed Gyoro-Gyoro was right the majority of the hero association forces are actually pretty weak, so running away seemed like the best solution after all, from now on he will follow his instincts as a monster and do things my own way. I love playing with toys until they're broken and there seems to be plenty of toys to choose from as he swiped his claws outwards directly bisecting the screaming man's head into several pieces before he continued forwards towards the running away heroes.
He turned his sights to another one of the tank-top-wearing weirdos this one seemed to have had a gun in his hand but did the most peculiar thing and instead of actually shooting him with it he unloaded the weapon and placed the bullets in the palm of his hand and threw them but while the speed of bullets was a bit unexpected to his eyes the thing was still moving in slow motion as he used his claw to casually redirect the bullet back into the man himself hitting the man in the head and taking out an eye as he fell backward, ah so easy he thought as he relished in the screams he made soon after as he rolled along the ground and clutched over his eye. He sped over to the down man who began to attempt to crawl away from him, he raised his hands menacing allowing the man to thoroughly visualize his death coming but before he could something hit him in the face from the side, it was almost literally like a slap in the face the attacked barely budged him and when he looked down he noticed that what had hit him apparently was a book? He looked up to see who had ridiculously used such an impromptu weapon and spotted one of the men had stopped and personally called him out, was it some valiant attempt to save the other's life so that he could buy time for them to escape?
Like that would work none of them would be getting out of there alive, but he would humor him as he ignored his current victim he would come back to get him later before he casually continued to his walk towards the man he didn't have jog too catch him because the man stayed stalk still, he guessed some would call it bravery but to him, it was just stupidity, he couldn't hope to beat him but he would humor the man he even gave the man back his "weapon" throwing on the floor in front of him, he actually thanked him for it but he simply wanted to make things a little fun while he enjoyed well there were likely other heroes around that he could go and kill but he didn't want to overstay his welcome to much he did't know how long until the other S-class arrived from their battler, he was curious on who would survive the conflict, I mean if the heroes managed to take down orochi it didn't seem like it would really matter of any of them survived they would be killed all the same.
Nyan continued his slow saunter towards the hero absentmindedly in thought but was surprised when the man yelled "now" indicating a trap of some kind true to that suddenly a solid thing almost thread-like fabric touched along his skin and started to dig in deeper and deeper, he was partially surprised by constructiveness of the process even with his ability he couldn't squeeze out of the bindings the thread-like materials was even smaller than the 3mm that he could squeeze through, huh a coincidence or did they now about his ability, he wondered. Another brave individual attempted to come at him he was unremarkable just having a shaved head and while he couldn't just slip free of the bindings he was still easily strong enough to simply rip through the wire-like threads he would simply need to flex his muscles-and which broke some the wires already and allow his hand enough room to squeeze out and cut the rest of the restraints before cutting the man that was brazenly running at him in half with a single swipe of his claws., he turned back to look at the man holding the book up threatening to throw it.
he gestured to give it a whirl but his instincts told him to turn as he heard the crunching sound of gravel being crushed under massive feet he quickly turned his head and saw a large behemoth charging at him with a decent paste he didn't know who the person was as he would have imagined he would have noticed someone his size when he first came up but as he hit him he knew that it wasn't something to really fear while he managed to knock him back with his tackle it was merely just a shove to him then something actually threatening the lare a continue to attempt to come at him slamming down his fist but he just dodged around each and everyone one of them clear misses as he clawed at the rampaging human with his claws first his arms then it's legs, and finally it's chest although that didn't get through, these tank tops were actually ridiculously tough he thought.
He glanced to the side and saw that the other one was still attempting to line up a chance to throw that book at him again, well he could solve that as he quickly evaded another blow from the large human before dashing over and cutting the man's hand off faster than he could react the book fell to the floor along with the man's hand although his cries of pain were muffled as a super large pink thing quickly consumed him and simply dragged him off and away, he quickly shifted his vision to where the large thing was headed and suddenly saw a large monster? Of some kind of huddle on top of the buildings, was that a monster? It looked far too human to be considered such but the large being reeled the wounded man back into its mouth before continuing to do so for the other two wounded men behind him. He was prepared to cut the pink appendage off if it tried that same move with him but it may have been a monster as it didn't attack him at all instead it just leapt away and continued elsewhere. It was a weird interaction and it deprived him of his toys but he was able to blow off at least some steam before leaving the place he continued to walk forward before he noticed a lone man walking down the street, he wasn't dressed like the others with a tank top instead only having some large red cloak on and some clothes, humans really were weird creatures they seemed to lack proper armor and equipment and just show up for battle in a random assortment of cloth although if all of their cloth was as rigid as those tank tops then maybe they could actually get somewhere.
He didn't mind that as he found a new playmate to enjoy, the man said nothing as he walked towards him nothing even as he taunted the man for his actions or even asked if he was a hero, to begin with, he spotted along the man's belt was a pair of swords, so he wasn't just some random civilian after all, he could even see that blood was over his clothes as he got closer could that large monster missed one or where their other heroes around that were getting attacked by monsters and he escaped them? What luck did this poor man have to wind up in front of him of all people?
Nyan would put the guy out of his misery as he dashed forward and sliced at the man with his right claw but something strange happened his instincts told him to retreat and while he still followed through with his attack he didn't stay close by the strange man jumping backward easily as he slipped through the cracks on the street and came up a couple of feet away. The cut felt weird. He didn't feel flesh and bone but something metallic but he didn't see the man draw a weapon. Was his bone just metal? Or was he wearing armor under that cloth? Or could he be a cyborg? He gasped suddenly when pain and blood suddenly erupted from his shoulder, he covered the deep scar and minorly panicked searching around for a potential culprit. Was someone attacking him from afar? He didn't hear anything or see anyone so was it this man? The man still didn't talk but continued to march in his direction nothing seemed to make sense so he took a more cautious approach this time around and sent out several wind claw slashes at the man, this had the desired effect as the man was blown away along with the surrounding buildings on the city block which began to rain down in pieces, but despite that, the man stood up and continued his march forwards but he was somewhat limping signaling that his attack had an effect but then he felt it again this time on his stomach pain shot through him as blood splattered from his stomach as something had evidently hit him.
he puked up blood as he fell onto his knees and he quickly scanned his surroundings something was definitely amiss with this man and he was about to just say screw it and run away but the man when the man fell down to a knee mirroring him he decided to give it one more shot this time not holding back and slipping back into cracks of the street, and popping up and striking out with four claw attacks feline retribution the large claws swipes created massive four corner wind gust that struck at the man from each direction but it didn't seem like any of them managed to score a direct hit, but this time he could see what was happening the man was defending against his attacks with his blade a fluke?
Or skill he wondered, as he got emerged from some rubble behind the man and poked out attempting to stab him from behind but a sudden moment later four other painful bursts erupted along his body, again he didn't see what was happening nothing made sense his attack faltered and as the man turned around and glared at him his instincts again warned him to flee but he wouldn't be looked down upon by some random nobody as he slipped through the cracks of the earth one again. He had to have had a partner somewhere striking him but he needed to visually see him to do it most likely so he again used his feline retribution to cut along the building sending the remains scattering into the air, with so much debris around he should have a hard to finding him and on top of that he will go inside of his partner's body and then wait for his opportunity to when they meet up again and then strike him down right in front of him and then kill this guy as well.
As he scurried through the rubble and got behind the lone warrior, he popped out and was about to enter into the man's ear however the man showed a surprising burst of speed as he turned around in time directly at him, nyan saw a flash of gray come his way and thrust both of his hands out one to deflect the blade and the other to tear at the man's throat, no matter his plan all he needed to do was stay close so whoever was attacking him couldn't risking hitting his partner instead, the two crossed blades with one another and stood only a few paces from each other back to back.
"Nine lives, Nine slashes." the man talked for the first time, and at first he didn't know what that was supposed to mean but his body again erupted with pain his chest burst with blood going down either side of him and his legs were both cut off as his body fell forwards he twisted around and attempted one last swipe at the stranger.
"Who ... .are…you?" Nyan asked simply as his hand was also cut off from the attempted attack.
"Atomic samurai" the man remarked and as Nyan felt his body be cut into several pieces he thought about where he heard that name before it finally clicked. S-class was his final thought as his vision was separated into pieces and his body was obliterated into red mist.
Atomic samurai didn't spare the monster a second glance as he moved forwards towards the upper portion of tank top masters body, it had been half-hazard dropped by the ones running away forcing him to flip it over with the butt of his sword he took a long hard look at the man his eyes were open lifeless, he really was dead….Atomic samurai shook his head before closing the man's eyes and giving a slight kneel and bow of the head in respect for him. The mutants came sometime later, tentacole was the most devastated by the loss but in comparison to his silent fury, it was nothing to the sobs and cries of the rest of the tank top that arrived when they got the all-clear that the cadre was dead. Sero had the foresight to give the man the decency of tapping the hero back together and wrapping him up with his tape beside his head along with the other two tank toppers, with that the tank toppers all of them took the man and their other two members and started to go back towards the perimeter, the appearance of a cadre on the surface spooked sekingar enough to call for a mas retreat back to the perimeters of the ghost town where they could all fight together and the news that the boy was saved allowed them to leave the rest to the S-class heroes.
Speaking of which Drive Knight arrived a short time later, atomic asked where the robot was, and when the machine remarked that he was actually viewing the scene to get a better grasp on the monster's abilities nearly spiraled into a fight between the two S-class members but midoriya stopped that from progressing any further than it had to before asking drive knight where he has been which the robot replied that he had been fighting for the past 24 hours of conflict although both midoriya and atomic were skeptical of that claim but dropped it for later, drive knight made a request in fact that he needed to go and recharge and for that he needed kaminari assistance and midoriya begrudging told him of where they were and off he went.
it was better to have the man they're at all than nothing. Midoriya contemplated child emperors' plan the entire time he's known of it, this was just the likely result of separating your forces so thin in their world no one would be so foolish to do such a thing heroes always fought together no matter the difference in their abilities or even personalities but it was too late for regrets he gave them everything and respected their wishes to not be apart of their plan the only thing he can do now is try to prevent such a fate for the others.
Metal and the Frozen Bat: Metal Bat
Metal bat charged head first into the monster association base, he didn't know what to really expect to encounters as he went down there he knew that the monster that he had to look out for were the cadre, he wasn't to worried about taking them on if anything they would offer at least some chance to get majorly pumped up, but if he had to choose between the cadre he saw then he would have liked to face off against that centipede again his battle was interrupted by the hero hunter the first time but he was confident he would have been able to take the thing on, the second person he wants to face off against was a rematch against the hero hunter he would definitely clobber him this time, the guy was good he would give him that if bang had beat him down that bad during his two times facing the man then he may have actually bothered to learn a thing or to or at least the gimmick to beat it, he couldn't beat someone he couldn't hit and during his time in the hospital kept trying to think up a way for him to circumvent that technique of his after being cleared from the hospital he even went back to talk to bang and actually pay attention to what the older man had to say about his martial arts supposedly it was the ultimate defensive technique and he could buy that, he found it a bit cowardly to just avoid attacks all the time real men took their opponents attacks head on to demonstrate their supperioty to his opponent but different strokes for different folks he supposed.
He learned that the technique had at least one weakness in the form that it was a specifically anti-human martial art so the best thing he could do against it was simply not fight like a person. While that sounded simple in his head in practice he didn't have much of a clue as to what he could do to change up his style to not fight like a human anymore. He pondered a few ideas and even asked forest lord about any animals he could mirror or something like that he was an animal lover so he should be able to think of something he could use as inspiration, the boy first talked about apes but he believed that was too close to being human and he couldn't really learn anything from apes and monkeys, felines, dogs were also out of the question he wasn't going to bother with biting or scratching at his opponent if he was going to learns something it would definitely still involve his bat in some way or form and the boy surprisingly brought up the idea of bees, hornets, and even scorpions.
animals whose main sense of attack relied on the weapons on their back instead of their front, it was an interesting idea he didn't know if there was any precedent for it that he could use to copy off, and after searching they're wasn't so he had to come up with the style on his own but it would take some time even the two months wasn't enough to get it down packed but he got the general idea he would instead of wailing his bat like a club instead put it between his legs and strike with it that way like a tail or stinger but generating force that was was obviously more difficult to generate a bit of force behind but he found a way, he would call it the Garou plumbing but only time would tell if it would really work.
He did ask Bang about what he wanted for his disciple and what he wanted to do if he encountered him but the man remarked that he had it covered so he shouldn't worry about it if he did encounter the man then he shouldn't hold back against him on his account and do what needs to be done to protect himself and the mission which bad took to mean that if he proved to be a danger lethal force was fully acceptable and that was all bad needed to know, he didn't know what the guys problems was or if he was even human at this point but it truthfully didn't matter to him he would smack him down all the same, just like the rest of the creatures in this place.
Metal bat knew that in terms of the actual objective it was already handel he trusted in the mutants to take care of the target he didn't think they were hidden spies or anything ridiculous like that and he was proven correct when over the coms the mutants confirmed to have successively been able to save the child but it couldn't all just be good news as they revealed that their actually been a second child somewhere down their which he did pause at, why would they need a second child when one was clearly enough and why was that child important enough to keep alive for this long but he still believed monsters for the most part lack logical thinking and he shouldn't really question much on their motivations not that it mattered, some time later child emperor re-confirmed that the child had been saved and that the father had received him now that they were just down their looking for the other child who could be who knows where down in the labyrinth of a place but atomic samurai had came on the mic and told them that he had found another child along with another of the cadre, he toyed around with his coms unit to check his map atomic samurai was near the bottom dregs of the monster association a couple of kiolemters and hundred meters below where he was currently located well by the time he got their nothing would probably be left for him to do so he just decided to continue on with his own mission of killing anything that got into his way.
Most of the monsters that approached him in the darkly lit hallways were mostly just a dime a dozen none of them were much of a challenge one swing of his bat would kill them in one hit as he continued his travels through the dungeon to his destination, he continue to move forwards until he heard crying? Despite himself, he decided to go and investigate. He wasn't very busy at the moment so he might as well check it out. It could have been another child that somehow got trapped down here, monsters needed to eat right so he wouldn't put it past them to take many people hostage to eat for later, his anger burned brighter just thinking about what would have happened if they had taken zenko during the invasion screw waiting around he would have left immediately even if he would have been killed he would get her out safe and sound so he definitely felt for the executive and how he felt for his son, the longer they waited the antsier he became even sending in his own private squad to rescue him as the association dragged its feet cowing to the monsters demands.
When he turned the corner and realized it was a monster that was crying in the center of one of the hallways, he was surprised that the small yellow creature that looked like some weird banana continued to sob out in the middle of an intersection.
He approached and the sound of his footsteps alerted the monster to his presence it looked at up at him and quickly scampered away from him like he was some rabid animal that was going to kill him of course that was exactly what he was going to do but that was standard for the course for a monster especially one that was as strong as it was, it tried to give him some pity story about how he's just a weak monster that wanted to take solace from the humans in the monster association so he wouldn't be killed and how he didn't want anything to do with the battle between them and to just leave him out of it and he would just hide out somewhere until they left of course this was all bullshit he knew because his appearance reminded him highly of the cadre he saw before in the meeting so he pretended to go along with his scheme as he came at the monster while it's back was turned, of course the monster had the same idea attempting to attack him but he was truly surprised to see metal bat had approached him his bat coming down aim on top of the creatures head his frightened squeeq made his attack miss wide but opting on the cuatios side bad himself also withdrew his attack and created even more distance between the two of them as he took notice of the handful of ice that was on the ceiling.
"So that's your gimmick huh? Ice powers?" metal bat quipped
"You must be pretty cold-blooded if you were just going to kill a helpless monster like me." the monster replied
"You just suck at acting, cadre." metal bat replied simply making the monster give a mildly amused expression.
"You knew? How?" the monster questioned.
"I saw your face before that is all, your guys aren't the only ones who have people that can get information. Although looking at you I can't even believe that you are a cadre." metal bat taunted.
"Oh, I'll show you." the weird-looking banana remarked as metal bat noticed that it notably began to get bigger the creature's small limbs and bulking up and growing in size to be as nearly as tall as he was but its head remained the same banana-like shape which just caused his "power up" to look even more comical than he already was.
"You look even stupider like that." metal bat said as he let out a laugh but that quickly stopped as he quickly jumped up and away from the ground as a large wave of ice headed his way ripping into the concrete behind him and completely trashing the room and hallway.
He was surprised when the banana creature seemingly wiggled his way through the ice emerging from one of the large pieces and shooting out even more ice from his palm directly at him metal bat thought quickly swinging his bat at the incoming ice attack shattering them upon impact before pressing off the ceiling and come down hard on the creature but by the time he got their the monster had already moved away his attack made an impact against the ice and shattered the rest of the ice in the hallway, he quickly pulled his back up to him and scan the environment for where the monster could have run off to or be hiding thanks to shattering the ice it also shattered almost all of the things that was coated in it leaving a vast blank space that was once filled with rooms and hallways. The chill on the back of his neck tipped him off to turn around and he narrowly avoided several ice-like spikes headed in his direction, one of them was able to score a slash across his leg but the pain was different from a normal sword slash there was a burning sensation they're in its stead, his leg felt a bit numb and hard to move as he took a glance to looked down at the wound no blood spilled out as it was covered in a thick layer of ice, that nearly spread along his entire leg as the numbing sensation started to get worse and worse, he quickly did a couple of soft taps of his bat against his leg to get the feeling again so that he wouldn't become paralyzed but he had to move again as another large wave of ice threatened to consume him.
Metal back jumped out of the way just in time to see the monster appeared riding along the icey wave, while he was dodging the monster used that opportunity to launch off the wave directly at him, his arms were both shrouded in a cold frost mist and was aimed to directly punch him in the face bad thought quickly bringing his bat up to block the strike in its entirety before shifting it and turning it into an attack of his own, unfortunately his counter was blocked as the creature took the hit along it's two fours arms but it made the monster slide back a bit, it slammed its foot down creating a wall of ice that came swamping towards him, metal bat readied his bat instead of dodging away again he faced it head on and started to rapidly swinging his bat out in front of him shattering the ice as it came his way, something was wrong however as he swung he felt his hands starting to clam and lock up but he didn't have much time to consider that as he dodged out of the way of the way as the several weapons started to materialize out to the sides of the attack and shot down at him, in the mist of his dodge the monster shot out again this time carrying what seemed to be a trident hopping to stab him through metal bat quickly manuevered his bat and blocked the strike.
The two of them locked against each other each pushing to overpower the other but the monster took one of his arms off the weapon and punched him in the face the only reason the blow connected was that he wanted to swing his bat out with one of his hands hitting the monster in the face with an elbow but he found that his hand was actually stuck to the bat itself? The punch took him off his feet and spun him away, he could feel half of his face had quickly lose heat and get colder and colder to the point he couldn't even feel anything almost like he just comes from the dentist, he couldn't even move half of his face anymore and that burning pain continually came from it.
"Ahaha, look how dumb you look now…also if you didn't know idiot metal is a great conductor of cold " the banana taunted again and Metal Bat couldn't respond well he attempted to but he was only successful in flailing half of his face and making unintelligible sounds which only made the monster laugh at his attempt, bad attempted to pry his hands free from his bat but the two of them were stone hard stuck but as long as it was wrapped around it, was all that matters he could still swing it that way and he would make this monster regret laughing at him and making him look dumb as he charged forwards he was feeding off the pain in his face and leg making him go even faster than before, the monster was slightly taken back by the increased speed but he was still able to react in time waving his arms upwards and summoning a large wall of ice to block the heroes path, metal bat came down hard on the barrier and shattered it only to reveal that the monster behind it was gone.
He scanned over the environment again before trying to see where the monster had went to next but he was surprised when the he felt something hammered over him in the back of the head, the monster used the ice that he created and slithered his way upwards before creating a large hammer that it used to smack metal bat in the back of the head the impact resounded around the room causing a minor vibration to shake the landscape but despite that the teen didn't completely falter he caught himself and went into a knee position before rising back up and swinging his bat at the monster, the monster used both of his hands to catch the bat stopping the attack and impacting more of it's cold frost onto it, before backing off as bat reared back to strike again, bad could feel the cold slowly but surely depart from his hands into his arms and slowly proceed up his body he didn't know what would happen when that feeling started to reach his chest and head but he knew that it woudln't be good so the only thing he could do now was to keep moving and kill the monster before that happennd.
The more he moved the more burning pain shook through his body, but in term, his movement also heated his body up and fought off the cold better while the pain simply raised his fighting spirit even more, he came at the monster swinging his bat this time harder than before swimming his bat was a bit awkward with both of his hands fused to it and not allowing to adjust his grip to the swing he wanted to commit to but that just meant he needed to run his body with each attack. He and his bat were a unit before it was just a hyperbole but now it was literal, each swing contained his entire body weight behind it increasing the force again and again. He needed to keep attacking to keep moving the monster was using its ice to defend against Metal Bat's furious attacks, he would summon large swathes of ice to continue to barrage the S-class hero while summoning weapons to attempt to keep the man away, he notices the man was somehow increasing in strength he had attempted to catch the bat with his hands again but this time the result was only that his hands were merely crushed by the force behind it.
Thankfully he had armored them with his ice allowing him to shrug off most of the damage but he did dislocate a shoulder for his troubles, the two combatants began a deadly game of keep away as the monster did it's best to keep the rampaging teen away from and pestered him with long range ice attacks, given that he could slip into his ice he was able to avoid almost all confrontation but he knew that wouldn't last for long especially as the man only seemed to be getting faster and faster and the fight drew on, it was only the luck of slipping through the ice and coming lashing out with multiple trident attack at the same time allowed him the opportunity to strike the teen on the opposite leg almost freezing it entirely before he had to slip away again, while the teen still continued to fight he was dramatically slower than previously allowing him the opportunity to lower the temperature of the very air around them itself making it harder for the human to breath, he didn't know how the human was doing it but his body seemed to be pouring out heat as smoke radiated from his form, which was slowing down the freezing process, he knew that humans can build up heat but this was something else but he was still human which meant he still needed to breath like they do even if he could fight off his freezing with some weird trait he couldn't fight off this unless he could turn off being human and as the fight dragged on, its theory was proved correct the teen while still growing stronger was slowing down from deep frosty breaths for the little amount of oxygen that still was in the area, he tried to move the playing field by destroying the entire floor their were on but his ice extended far from them maybe up til the very surface itself he wouldn't be getting away.
Metal Bat changed up his approach in the fighting he started to slam his bat left and right each bang reverberated through his entire body and pain shot through him but he used it to fuel his next strike creating bigger and bigger vibrations that destroyed the ice in the room and create less room for the monster to move around in his ice, he jumped up at the monster which was sticking on the ceiling mocking him again the blow landed on the roof and exploded outwards as the forced behind it created a rampant shockwave that traveled upwards, he turned back to see that the monster was constantly creating more and more ice making it almost impossible to pin down, he created a large wave of ice spikes that before raising it higher to skewer him above the floor.
he allowed the spikes to score a hit against him ripping into his legs shoulders and arms monster he could feel the frostbite completely bite into his legs and shoulder, he felt the monster worm it's way up through the ice and was about to slam his body down deeper into the wall of spikes but as the monster ice hammer came down he quickly swung his bat down shattering the wall of spikes and causing each of them to start in free fall bad swung his body back around as the monster stabilized himself and both hit each other dead center in the chest and while bad's attack bisected the creature the frost hammer dispersed around his chest and completely froze him solidly as the bodies touched the ground, bad couldn't feel anything any more his rapid heartbeat started to fall shorter and shorter but just when it was about to stop, it refused

Todoroki followed the ice trail of ice to a frightening sight, chipped ice covered the landscape and he followed the massive trail of destruction, and eventually found where bad was the man was completely sealed in ice but that didn't mean he was dead, so he quickly got to work their was no time to lose as the first thing he did was use his overheat shedding his own internal temperature to raise the temperature in the room and then once the room was in a good enough state he activated his power other abilities which drastically increased the amors temperature to the max before using his vacuum ability to absorb all the heat from the surrounding and the suit into himself while momentarily making the area colder he could now use his blue flame abilities to warm metal up along with the rest of the room, once the ice was fully melted off the man he put his head to the teens chest to see if he could hear a heartbeat and surprisingly he was still able and although it was extremely faint at first and he believed that it would likely take time for him to get back to normal just like himself maybe even more given that his quirk somewhat counter acted the monsters ability but the same couldn't be said for metal bat.
Todoroki's com unit sparked with a message from midoriya asking about an update he told him that he was able to find the teen and midoriya asked about metal bat condition todoroki remarked that he was alive but only barely at that it would take some time for him to recover, midoriya remarked that he was going to ask him to assist child emperor in helping defeat evil natural water but it seemed that drive knight would be the one taking care of it in his stead and that he should return up top, todoroki confirmed that he will and was about to prep metal bat for transport when the man had suddenly sprung up from his comatose like state.
the man looked around the room for a moment before looking down at the monster corpse and patted himself on he back for defeating the creature before turning to look at todoroki and also thanked him for thawing him out before continuing on with his mission like nothing happened, todoroki initially didn't want him to go because he was still injured or whatever second wind he was having could ware off or he could continue to hurt his body by moving around in that condition but the pampadour teened waved off his concerns because as long as he has "fighting spirit" the wounds he has were nothing major, truthfully their could be something to that or whatever but todoroki was still hesitant to let the man go out on his own again and even despite saying that the mission was already completed he was still adamant in just travelling around and killing mosnter before they escape it wasn't until todoroki informed him about tank top masters fate that the teen stopped and listened to what he had to say.
The Power of Light: Zombie Man
Zombieman felt a small shaking rock the landscape he didn't know who or what caused it but it did call into question what was happening with the battle their were a total of four cadre defeated so far which left 11 on the table so any one of them could be fighting them at that very moment and causing the shaking however he didn't know who would be winning that battle which was the problem while he could discern their location which meat the battle citation was still unknown to him unless someone called for help which speaking of which his coms unit sparked to life as sweet mask voice blared over all channels begging for help against one of the cadres, well the guy really was a jockster the entire time it seemed, he didn't completely blame tatsumaki for rebuffing him and basically remarking that he should be able take the consequences of his own actions, although they were heroes so someone should go and help him but when the mutants came up and remarked that he got it then he guessed there was no need for concern but a voice caught his attention from behind him while he was diestracted he turned just in time to see a large white light completely consume his vision causing a massive explosion to take place.
"Is this the end for the one they call a hero? How underwhelming… checked the official Hero Association website, and there are 17 S-class heroes, right? I can eliminate that many myself." the man remarked as he cradled four glowing energy spears in his hands, zombieman rose up from the dust of the blast wave.
"Hold up." he remarked simply as dashed at the man wielding his ax, but before he could slam it down he noticed that the man lifted his hand in the shape of a gun, and out of it emerged a super fast light orb that completely destroyed his wrist and sent his hands and his ax flying off into the distance along with carrying on to evaporate a good chunk of his head, he dropped down to his knees and pretending to play day while he condescended is chest as best he could to fire off his trap card, his chest exploded outwards as a bullet flew through it directly at the man while he was off taken off guard he was still able to stop the attack to his shock as another light orb got in the way of the bullets causing a miniature explosion as the two projectiles collide causing him to go flying backwards against a wall and the man himself to slide back a few steps and he had gotten into a more defensive posture from before hunched down and his light orbs creating a screen around him.
Zombieman lamented the fact that he planned to use such an ace just to have it still fail but that didn't matter as he stuck his hand into his chest pulled out his pistol and aimed it at the target there were few openings none of which were kill shots but he would take any damage he could get as he fired and the man returned fire of his own using those light orbs. His bullets were completely obliterated in the exchange of fire as the light orbs began to overwhelm him and send him spiraling backward while he was able to stand his entire body was torched nothing could move because everything was gone nerves and muscle and all, he needed time so might as well strike up a conversation while he healed and get some game plan going this monster seemed way to strong.
"Hey, I don't understand the nature of your rule-defying attacks that resemble magic, what is up with you." zomebieman spoke as his mouth was created.
"What a surprise, I have heard a lot about you zombieman. It seems the undying body isn't just a figure of speech. Do you want to know the secrets behind my light powers? Fine, I shall tell you." the man remarked.
Zombieman faintly listened as the man went on with his story apparently he was just an average day businessman until his boss made him do a very strange request like dance naked in front of the new recruits and then he was fired the next day for sexual harassment and due to that he couldn't pay his rent so his landlord kicked him out and he started to live like a recluse, zomebieman would have liked to chime in and say that's likely definitely a sueable offense ad he could have gotten a lot of money out of it if he decided to pursue it but he would probably not take to kindly to being interrupted. He went on to talk about how he was sky gazing and came upon an epiphany which was that man had no right to push their own self-made rules on the earth and mother nature, so he was an anarchist or something. zombieman thought.
He found the very audacity foolish and everyone who contributed to such a system was a fool, the revelation was so crushing that he figured the only way he could not be as foolish as the others around him was to return to mother nature and and return to the earth so that they could truly coexist however when the man was going to do just that, something that he was calling god stopped him and told him that he was right and supposedly bestowed upon him that power, he was the supposed chosen one that would be god's herald and destroy humanity and the civilization that spawned with it. Unfortunately, that seemed like a closing statement so zomebieman had to figure out some way to continue to draw it out while his body healed.
"So why did you believe him to be "god"? Did he have I.D" zombieman quipped, it likely wasn't the best reply as it almost seemed like he was not taking him seriously but sarcasm was just his natural state for things like this.
"Is that so? There is no need for you to believe in god, enough chit-chat. To atone for your inflated arrogance you will die and return to the planet." the man remarked.
"Wel before you do that, at least allow me to know your name." zombieman asked
"Very well, the person that sent you to the land beyond was none other than god's chosen homeless emperor" the man spoke before firing off rapidly again with his light spheres and the extra couple of seconds offered him enough to finally have motor functions in his legs again as he quickly moved to get out of dodge the attack, he likely didn't expect him to move or else he would have just followed along after him but that was his problem as he continued on his evasive maneuver multiple other light orbs continued down his path chase after him and exploding just at the edge of the place he was just at.
He quickly went to go over and pick up his ax that was discarded on the ground, before rolling out of the way of another barrage of light orbs, with his current equipment, as he evaded another spray of light orbs his mind started to race and map out his current situation, he was currently engaged with a monster association cadre, with no weapons other than his ax, the cadre had supposedly gotten his powers directly from "god" and could fire off spheres of destructive light he wondered if spirit of light could redirect them or not? Well, that didn't matter for the moment, he pondered on whether he should attempt to call for help right now or not but realized that he was completely naked so that wasn't an option in the first place, he found some shadows that he could hide in while he scoped out the room, he was in through the gravel burying himself inside of it to hide away, thankfully parts of his jacket had managed to survive the initial onslaught. It was in tatters but otherwise fine, his two katana were scattered in each direction which at least gave him two other options for weapons if he lost his ax.
He pondered on what he should do in this scenario, should he attempt to lead the man away and come back to call for help? He considered it for a moment but decided to hold off against doing that at least, for now, he knew that this guy was dangerous but how dangerous were the questions at hand he didn't want to lead anyone down there to help just to be obliterated when they came, he had regeneration so he could take the abuse while figuring out the man's abilities once he recovered enough data on the target then he could call for help and fill them in on all that he found out and beat the guy together and with that plan of action down he decided to rengage the individual or homeless emperor as he liked to call himself. he saw the guy on the data the mutants gave him but he thought that it may have been a transformation type so he was just promoting a human face and in battle, he would look different but it seems that wasn't the case and his new ability were these light sphere given to him by god or whoever it was.
As soon as he moved among the rubble it was no sooner blown to pieces as multiple light sphere launched off at his general direction blowing up everything, thankfully to the rubble he wasn't completely destroyed like last time but he was missing parts of his head, his right arm, and his gash in his lower torso but those didn't matter right now the one thing he wanted to prioritize was his legs which were still fine as he started to get out of dodge and ran out of the large hole in the wall that he created, the man continued after him at a slow place, but he didn't have to worry about physically catching him it seemed as the light orbs were more than fast enough to make up the difference but their had to be some sort of range or sight limit because if their wasn't he wouldn't bother to move closer to him at all and to test his hypothesis he started to go down different pathways to get out of the man's line of sight and his instant reaction was to simply target the walls themselves blowing each and everyone one of them up which definitely told him line of sight needed to be an option for his engagement which also gave him an idea on his range limit as well.
The explosives varied in power but the telltale sign of a stronger orb being produced was in relation to its size, the smaller ones were not much threat even his body could somewhat shrug them off but they were faster than the other larger blasts and seemed to be able to spammed more often than his large blast which he only used to clear the field of walls and barrier. As zomebieman continued his game of cat and mouse his opponent continued to mock him all the while attempting to goad him into coming towards him but he wasn't that stupid, he understood a difference in an ability when he saw it but he wouldn't just be an evasive target for the guy to practice on he also wanted to test his opponent's defenses, so he started to attack back from the shadows moving in and out of them as best he could throwing rocks at the man once he drew close enough to his original position it only worked once and he fully expected the impromptu projectile to do squat, he wasn't some juggernaut like tank top master that could hurl them at super speed, but he could pitch at least faster than any baseball player out there with his strength.
He only managed to hit the guy once from his surprise attack but he was shocked by the damage it did, the rock had hit him in the back of the head and the guy nearly keeled over and face planted but he recovered and immediately did a large area of effect burst explosion destroying nearly the entire area they were in leaving no walls in sight for a couple of miles long he was stuck as his legs were completely incinerated leaving him as just an upper torso on the floor, he inwardly cursed that if he expected the attack to do that much damage he would have used his ax instead was the guy a glass cannon? Or was he just feigning it in to draw him to the wrong conclusion, his thoughts were momentarily interrupted as his head was blown clean off his shoulders for the second time that fights but the man didn't stop there as he started to operate his body with a number of smaller light spheres until it fell backward on the ground, well it's either the guy was a world-class actor or that was the most classic example of rage he has seen in a while, he cursed him out the entire time he attacked his body calling him a fool idiot, trash, filth any and all kinds of things before he seemed to stop in and take a breath from yelling so much.
Zombieman healed like he always did and noticed that the man had started to walk away from him, he used that opportunity to grab his ax off the floor and charge at him jumping up into the air and attempting to come down on the guy from behind but he had better reactions than he original thought as he evaded the downwards ax chop and was about to blow his head off again but zombieman was able to raise his other hand up in time and tank the attack for his head, it getting blown off in his stead, he continued using his other hand to strike out with the ax again, unfortunately, the orb moved and shifted to block the strike but the man also ensured to jump backward at the same time so he was scared of getting hurt or at least feared that he could hurt him but what he really focused on was his hands he noticed that the orbs were being guided by his hands and generated by his hands only, could he guide them without them he thought or what if they were subdued? It was a potential weakness that he would chalk up for later potential use but something else was bothering him as another blast took him far away throwing him backward again leaving him in a very similar state from before standing but unable to move as another concentrated blast cut right through his center leaving a large gaping hole in its place.
He purposely slowed his regeneration to see if he could find any indication that the man seemed to be tiring out, he didn't know about this god power but even when it came to the mutants and their magical-like abilities or monsters with elemental powers they had to have some sort of limitation or drawback but the man's blast were still just right as rain, was he getting power from something? Or with this god constantly funneling power into the person so he could have an unlimited amount of orbs to use? It didn't make sense but they had been fighting for some time and he was extremely careless in using his power like he had no concern for stamina and that may be the exact reason he seemed more tired from yelling than actually firing those things off.
hmm, zombieman pondered his next steps as the man questioned him on why he wasn't healing anymore, he was but just not the hole in his stomach to give off that illusion. Ultimately he figured out as much as he could about the target and nothing good could come from him continuing to fight the guy alone especially as under-equipped as he was. So he waited for his opportunity to move to get over to his beacon but his thoughts were completely taken from him when a massive light sphere started to form above homeless emperor this was the largest one he had seen yet and the man remarked that if this was the end of their little play of hide and seek then he will be sure to vaporize him thoroughly to the point where he couldn't regenerate and for that one singular moment fear did rush through his mind as he contemplated would that attack really be enough to kill him, his body reacted more instinctively then his mind from the strange and unknown sensation as he didn't just back away but ran as fast as he could.
He didn't know what the man expected as he made a mad dash forwards sprinting away as quickly as possible but he noticed that the light behind him getting brighter and brighter which signaled to him that the giant orb was following after him the only thing he could do was hope and pray that the man couldn't redirect its direction as he made a desperate jump to the side to avoid the strike his lower body again was vaporized and to add insult to injury as his body stopped and from it's sudden tumble he found himself just a couple of meters off where his tattered jacket was along with the beacon, he attempted crawl towards the device but another harrowing barrage kept him in his place, as both of his arm were blown off leaving only his burned head and chest that slowly healed he twist and turned to get a glance behind him viewing the destruction the large sphere left in its wake before detonating with defying boom and vibration just to look back and see as the man approached that he was still completely exerted from the attck from the even after such an attac the man himself seemed unphased not even panting lie their was no effort, the only option was that he was simply not trying at all like he was just playing with a kid or his power was not connected to him in any way and he was definitely predicting the latter however but this left him in quite the predicament.
He tried to strike up a dialogue with the guy but this time he saw through his ruse and was in the beginning stages of preparing another one of those massive energy spheres. Well, he guessed it would be time to tell how immortal he really was but as the attack neared completion a sudden rumbling completely stopped them a man in his tracks he watched as the large ball of energy completely disappeared as a rampaging monster burst through the upper ceiling but it wasn't a monster it was dark shadow the man despite the initial surprise turned his head back down at him, he guessed he thought that the creature was his backup but it was quite the opposite but it was zomebieman mistake to be so smug, his grin probably gave it away as the man quickly looked back up just in time to shoot out a couple of light spheres at the large creature the hand that was coming down on him exploded in a blast of energy the hand was completely gone but it was only a distraction as he used the opportunity to pull him up and away with the other black tendrils. Given the shadow creates weakness to light itself along with the guy's seemingly endless amount of them and their power he wasn't shocked that the teen didn't want to stick around and fight with him instead just came to his rescue and didn't even need the beacon to call for it either, along the rough travel upwards the shadow creature completely broke apart and buried the whole he made initially down so that the two of them wouldn't be followed.
After three minutes he finally got around to getting to the boys main body and by this time his legs and arms started bud their way back into existence he just needed a couple more minutes until they were fully functional again and he could start moving , despite the boy knowing that he would be fine he still asked him if he was going to be ok and zomebieman responded that he was alright but he was more concerned about the current situation at the teens grimacing silence he got a little anxious and asked what the damage was looking like , while he told him that both kids were successfully evacuated their were casualties from the fighting, 10 deaths and dozens of injuries ranging in scope but what truly shocked him was that one of the deaths had actually included tank top master, it was a massive deal for an S-class to just be taken down but hearing one had actually been killed was something else entirely he wasn't close to the guy like that but he was a comrade just like all the others it was a shame to see him go.
Tsukuyomi gave him his extra pair of clothes which in this case was actually, a combat suit similar to their own, he was in talks with them and when he found out about them he definitely wanted to try one for himself he was strong but compared to the rest of the S-class he might as well have been an average person, him and puri-puri were usually around the weakest of the bunch so he was more worried about him than tank top master, once he finished recovering his body he put on and smiled as the shadow creature even managed to snag both of his blades from before evacuating him, he stepped out into the light as he put on his trench coat over his power armor in what felt like ages and looked around to see that most of the mutants were present along with atomic samurai he guessed the rest of the S-class were still inside which surprisingly also included bang and his brother which they were trying to get into contact with now.
Darkshine had come over the radio and spoke about how he had run into puri-puri prisoner and garou of all people and was going to attempt to take them back to the surface with him, drive knight was working to help child emperor, and the samurai so that only left four people unaccounted for which was sweet mask, genos, pig god, and Tatsumaki but or the girl everyone knew that she was going to be fine for the star, however, there was some doubt especially with the one fo the S-class managing to be taken down he was in serious trouble if he ran into one of the cadres but green savior assured them that the star would be fine as long as he didn't hold back his strength, for the cyborg however bakugo face scrunched up as he blasted off angrily at a certain direction speaking of how he would get the useless scrap heap to come out. This brought up something in mind for zomebieman as he questioned if Saitama was part of the battle yet and none of the teens actually knew where the man was at the moment.
Gluttony: Pig god
As pig god followed the scent of his nose he found his first prey which was a large bearded dragon he didn't truthfully care for what it spoke and he could feel his stomach rumble with how delicious it would taste going down his stomach. When the monster finally decided to stop talking he completely consumed the monster without a second thought, the large size white satisfying was also slightly debilitating he couldn't move for a couple of minutes as his body digested the massive beast, he had partially thought he heard the sound of a human behind him, from the voice he imagined it was atomic's pupils but despite that fact, he couldn't really get his feet under him at the moment to move out of their way the monster had continued to wiggle around and it even partially expanded inside of him in a desperate attempt to escape but it never did as he fully consumed the creature and sat around for another couple of minutes while it digested it took a surprisingly small amount of time than he originally thought it would but that must have been doing to his rampant hunger as even after he fully consumed the monster he was still hungry and he quickly went on to find even more monster to consume.
The majority of the monsters following that great food tub monster weren't as impressive in terms of size he could casually walk around grabbing them and scooping them up into his mouth as he continued on his path almost like a vacuum cleaner or rumba, none of the monsters would escape his stomach and eventually after a dozen or so monsters he could finally feel himself filling out a bit nothing too major but he could properly fit his pants now which was a definite plus, he heard of the comms that the mutants had successfully rescued the child which was good although there was a different on the loose so he should still keep a look out while he was snacking but atomic remarked that he had a visual on the kid so maybe he could just focus on the buffet before him after all as he wandered down his path. The monsters didn't put up much of a challenge most of their blows simply bounced off his fat or were absorbed by it, allowing him to save them for later if there was some downtime between the monster waves, which he did there were some monsters that started to actively flee away from him making him extend the extra effort into chasing them down and consuming them which only served to make him hungrier as he carried on.
He was momentarily surprised when the floor had been cut out from under him, he fell for around 15 seconds before he landed in a lake or pool of some kind he didn't know his head was barely above the water in his enlarged state he could touch the floor of the pool with his feet and he could see that just ahead of him were seemingly dozens of glowing eyes that lifted seemingly dropped down below the surface of the water, and soon after all along his body he had felt small nipping bites that picked at his skin it actually felt like a nice massage to his body he's heard about those fish spas that people would visit to have fish eat off dead skin cells and he wondered if this would be a similar feeling to that.
He was thankful for the monsters however the one thing he forgot to bring in his preparations was actually something to drink and the water around them in the pools seemed to be just the thing he needed to quench his thirst, so he dipped his head into the pool and started to inhale all of it, the water that flowed around the area started to flow directly towards him like a storm drain, the monsters that were biting at his body had all been forcibly pulled away from the forces of the suction straight down his gullet, by the time he has finished his drinking almost all of the monsters were completely wipe away and he was indeed fully quench from drinking the water as he felt somewhat satisfied for the first time that day.
There was another, however a smaller crocodile creature. Was it smaller or was he just bigger he thought for a moment as he quickly turned around with speed surprising the monster and hoisted it up by his hands and began to swallow it whole, just as he did so over his earpiece he heard the voice of sweet mask begging for help and despite his current size he was eager to go and help the man if he could but just as he got up he found his vision completely blacked out by something.
He felt the soles of his boots and his shirt begin to burn away signaling what had happened to him he was eaten. Well, that was absolutely unacceptable he thought as he pressed hard on the insides of the monster that had attempted to consume him hoping to stretch the creature to its very limit and burst free but likely knowing that it instead opted to throw him back up, he puked him up and pig god was furious as he growled like a rabid dog at the monster upon a casual glance he noticed that the creature was actually one of the cadres he remembered it from the briefing and from his coms he could hear that sweet mask was encountering one as well and he needed assistance so he wanted to opt to make this as fast as possible to go and help but as he charged forwards at the monster and the monster met him in a mutual charge as both of them sizing each other up, pig god was surprised by the size of the monster as he had hoisted him up by his arms but instead of attempting to eat him again instead he threw him across the room where he slammed through two walls before sliding down to a stop.
He quickly picked himself up as the monster's heavy feet approached him in a guttural yell the monster had no eyes or ears, could it have been by sound which could explain why it let out that scream just then however he didn't hear that scream previously so maybe it could have been by heat instead. He avoided the creature's rapid dash towards him holding out his leg to trip the creature up as it did so his tactic didn't work instead the monster dropped its mouth and attempted to bite his leg off but the maneuver definitely changed the creature's center of gravity as he avoided the bite and slapped the creature on the back with a full force open hand hit, his only other method of attack was to be pure punches but as the monster quickly recovered itself stepping up he figured that may not be enough, as it charged back at him. He pretended to meet the charging head-on only to sidestep the attack and chopped down as hard as he could on the monster's back only for his teeth to ache as he barely broke the skin of the monster in question, for his transgression the monster hit him with a back smack that sent him spiraling head first into a wall. His head was swimming from the impact but he recovered enough to roll out of the way of the monster whose mouth was agape attempting to swallow him again, but only got a mouth full of floor which it eagerly swallowed without a care in the world.
Pig god recovered quickly and bounced back up to slam down multiple palm strikes along the creature's back forcing it downwards even more cracking the floor with each impact before it finally broked and the two of them started to fall downwards down to the next floor, he maneuvered himself while in mid-air to slam down directly on top of the monster as they crashed down through two more floors from their collective weight before finding purchase as the monster stopped itself and easily managed to lift off again this time using it's power to shove them up through a floor and quickly whirled around and bit on to him with it's massive jaws unlike before the creature actually began to chew on him as he felt the monsters teeth bite into him multiple times his fats for the first time in what felt like forever had failed him as blood started to seep out and he could feel his legs nearly be crushed by the pressure. His mind raced as the pain inflicted him for a long time but that was nothing to the rage he felt when over the comms unit he heard that tank top master had died.
he found the inner strength to pierce through and pry the creature's jaws apart using his own blood to get leverage and go free, he got to his feet shakily and pressed the button for his emergency button he didn't know where the others were but he knew that the mutants had been helping out he couldn't afford to waste time with his pride as an eater fighting against this opponent. As he started to essentially play a game of tag against his opponent just stalling out for a time, but the pain in his legs flared and he tripped on spare debris which the monster attempted to use to bite him again this time along his head but a resounding smack was heard which completely stopped the monster in its tracks making it turn it's head towards the offender it was metal bat fully their and angry as well.
The monster leaped at him to swallow him whole but the man prepared his bat and smacked the monster again directly in the chin, knocking out some of its teeth from the impact, he went to town wailing on the creature as he dodged out of the way of its short arms, the monster was finally able to catch metal bats bat in its mouth but then suddenly the creatures was completely shrouded in ice, frozen-phoenix emerged from behind metal bat and touched the bat and the first worked its way inside of the creature from it' mouth outwards, before thawing out the bat allowing metal bat to take his weapon and rack up and mighty swing that completely pulverized the creature into nothing but spare blocky shapes of its body. The two went to check if he was okay and he rescinded for the most part that he was, however before the three of them took their leave pig god did help himself to the remainder of the cadre, which the other two allowed him as well. He asked about the others and heard about what happened to tank top master and they filled him in on how Drive Knight was helping child emperor that tatsumaki was still in the center and darkshine was getting both Puri-puri prisoner and garou outside, however, flash was still unknown he lost his beacon in the fighting so no one knows where he could possibly be but they were all going to regroup on the surface to plan their next steps before anything else can happen.
Fire Beats Water: drive knight, disciples, Child Emperor
As the disciples continued their rampage down in the monster association they had thankfully not run into many enemies as strong as the hair monster from before but they had run into and good amount of monsters and while weak through sheer numbers they started to take its toll on the three of them, there was seldom much to talk about amongst the three of them as they battled other than to check for any wounds or injuries one of them may have received also due in no small part that any conversation would eventually dwindle back to the topic of sweet mask and what's happening with him and what's his deal but the logic was always circular in nature with them just throwing out random speculation that they couldn't confirm or deny. The group had decided to pace themselves on their travels, ensuring to keep their stamina and form up to shape so that they could better combat the horde of monsters that awaited them in the next room. Unfortunately, they didn't bring any snacks or drinks to accompany them on the journey so they would have to make do with being hungry and thirsty. It seemed too risky to poke around for food and any water that they did pass; they had to worry about being contaminated or toxic to them.
They had just finished killing another monster as they continued to walk on their path, they didn't really have much of an objective other than to get the monster off of the S-class back, and judging from the numbers they killed so far they were sure that they were doing a fine job of that. They continued forward to a rather lucrative hallway with seemingly locked vaults of who knows what but as long as they stayed locked its contents didn't concern them, they continued forward encountering some sort of checkpoint, of some kind none of there were two large guards present wielding dual kandabo's along with a plethora of smaller monsters, given that they had the element of surprise iaian instructed okamaitachi to use her wind blade to kill the two large guards first and they would then rush in to kill the rest, she followed orders as instructed and the plan went off without a hitch. the battle was mostly fast and over with before it really began their blitzkrieg and teamwork making kick work of the small group of monsters all besides one and this was partly due to the fact that Sweet Mask started to blare over the comms begging for help against one of the cadres.
Iaian was so shocked by the sudden outburst that he missed his strike against the target body proper only managing to take the creatures arm forcing the group to give chase after it, they had a very brief conversation about the idol again since he popped up so suddenly, okamaitachi thought it was so hypocritical that he would beg for help while simultaneously being able to kill people without a second thought and while the others agreed with her, the man was still a hero in the end or hopefully he was a hero and if he needed help someone should do so, he didn't recommended themselves of course fighting a cadre could be a tall order and if anything they would likely just get in the way, so when the mutants had stated that they would assist they were at least welcome of that the situation was resolved, the voice did bring up questions revolving around why they weren't apart of the mission proper but they would leave that question until later, they chased down the monster and unfortunately it seemed to have opened up one of the safe rooms, the thre of them approached the large vault and were shocked to see that inside was nothing but a large container of some kind. Two large eyes floated along the container and just below it was a facet of some kind that the monster was making its way towards okamaitachi let loose another wind blade and she succeeded in cutting one of the creature's legs off but it showed tremendous heart as it hopped towards the levered and pushed it forwards with its last breaths.
The monster spoke about how they were too late and that he would let the worst and most uncontrollable cadre handle the rest, before pushing down on the lever and immediately releasing water out of the facets scattered about, from the water out popped fish that completely consumed the dying monster as more fish jumped out directly at them, the samurai were easily able to cut the fish down and deduce that they were not likely to be the cadre in question but whatever it was they didn't want to find out what it could be as they made a quick retreat out of the vault and attempted to close the door behind them, unfortunately, this proved fruitless as the water mass seemingly moved on its own accord and it was then they knew that the cadre was actually the water itself as two streams seemed to erupt from the mass, Iain reacted quickly raising his sword in an attempt to deflect the attack but he was stunned when the cost of that deflection was actually a curve section of his sword being cut out.
The three disciples instantly did a staggered retreat they couldn't full run with their backs turns having to ensure that they kept an eye on the water stream being shot their way along with the fish being shot out of the water as well, they managed to duck down in two separate alleyways to catch their breaths unfortunately for them atomic samurai has never taught them the technique on cutting water so the task in front of them seemed impossible to overcome with the weapons they have now, the water seemed to have stopped moving forwards allowing them a moment to catch their breath, but bushidrill had been on the opposite side of both iaian and okamaitachi so he would need to cross over, Iaian did a hesitant experiment to test the monsters reaction time as he threw two rocks out in the center of the room but the water didn't take the bait, meaning he had to give it something else, he poked his blade out but again it did not shoot, he was hesitant the water may have been smarter than they thought, he instead he opted for something else as he through a large crate instead while bushdrill started to swapp sides, the older gentlem got to about halfway before he took a glace at the monster and in that moment was when the monster struck at him, thankfully both okamitchi and iaian was their to defend him deflecting with the back portion of their blades to better protect their weapons from the damage of the water jets.
The water continued to move after them down the hallway and bushidrill collapsed the entrance to the tunnel with his weapon to block it off but it only managed to slow the monster down as it started to slip through the cracks and push through the debris, their came spared once more this time with grimacing remarked that tank top master had fallen which came to a surprise to many of them but they worry that they soon would be next with the cadre hot on their tail, the only thing they could do is activate their emergency beacon a keep running as quickly as they could or until their bodies failed them.
Child Emperor had spent his time walking around aimlessly searching the base for clues on where the child could be the only report of the child's direction was that he was near one of the bottom floors where Atomic Samurai was located so the best course of action for him to take were for him to simply head downwards, this was easy as he could just backtrack to the large whole he created with brave giant using his backpack helicopter to scale down the large tunnel as he scanned for where atomic samurai was located in the base, he would start his search in 100 meters radius around the man and searching the floor below and above him before expanding his search further he didn't want to get in the way of his fight against a cadre especially without his trump card at hand, which brought his mind screeching back to the mutants again as he descended he questioned the severity of the potential data leak that could transpire if neith gave away his data on the brave giant.
it was the combination of all his scientific knowledge other than it being used to spot any weaknesses in the mech suit he would hate if others attempted to plagiarize his designs and pass them off as their own, which double for this mysterious organization that they seemed to be in contact with he slipped the data chip that neith given him and started reading up on some of the details that were inside and true to their word it included a number of dealings, corruption, gambling, and even blackmail that the heroes association has committed to since a year after its inception, and to the bird creatures credit it matched directly with what he showed him so it wasn't just lying to him and making up images from the information from his mind.
This was a fairly damning piece of information whoever they were and he was curious what they were going to attempt to do with it, neith remarked that it was going to be a rival organization..so they planned to defame them using this information while simultaneously offering a new and better place for disgruntled heroes to turn to along with where the public could begin to put their faith in next, it was an ingenious plan really tearing down the competition to make yourself look better but they would still need to be concerned about funding and support, where would they get it, even if they released this information it would likely still need to go through a litany of verification process and procedures and that's just for official matters in terms of the public opinion it would likely take even longer to have them trust them unless the public started to waver from….a large event like the current crisis. A very clever person indeed he would like to meet this person or organization leader to find out more but he would leave that for now as he finally got down on the correct floor and proceeded forwards.
He was shocked when he touched the ground to here the voice of sweet mask over the coms asking for assistance he quickly checked his map and tired to see where the man was located her was one of the closer heroes nearby him just a couple hundred meters away nearly and a couple of meters below but he wasn't going to be of much use in a fight against another cadre without his primary weapon, he could send his watchdog man over to help but they likely would only serve as a distraction thankfully the mutants were around and they could offer aid and from the conversation he found that the the monster king and the advisor has already been defeated by tatsumaki which was a pretty significant feat to say the least at least they didn't have to worry about that for now, this would mark four of the 15 cadre being killed and just as he thought that midoriya came over the coms and remarked that he had also taken care of a monster cadre which brought the total up to five of the 15 being dead but also he found the kid and was currenlty going to extract him which was a blessing in disguise now that left him with basically nothing to do now but head up back top and wait for the others to finish up he could also help neith in figuring out the brave giant a bit more just incase he needs it still.
He again pondered the possibility of what would happen if he just decided to include the mutants from the beginning and how things could have been easier with their abilities they offered him support and he completely turned it away based upon his own assumptions about them without giving them a fair hand, another sos was sent out this time by tan top master and he simply believed that the mutants would take care of it like last time but when only a few minutes later it was revealed that the man was dead but by whom completely shocked him to his very core it was the cadre nyan ….his thoughts immediately flashed back to his fight against the cadre phoenix man, it told him that he had control over multiple cadres and would have stood down if he just gave up, he knew that he couldn't trust the monster at all but..his doubts came rushing as his head flooded with possibilities of what would happen if he was telling the truth, tank top master would still be alive, multiple powerful opponents that some of the other members were fighting could have joined them there would be no more fighting it would just be a steam roll.
His breathing started to get heavy and quiver as his mind kept telling him how it was his fault that tank top master was dead even disregarding the monster deal, it was still his plan this would all be on him, he underestimated the monsters and for that one of his comrades were killed, would they forgive him? Would they blame him? He already felt a bit ostracized by the group as he was the only kid in the group but their praise when he beat a cadre was partly inspiring for him thinking that he had earned their respect. Would he lose that same respect from this loss? He wouldn't completely blame them for it, causing him to sink down on himself and he scanned his map for the others, everyone else seemed to be doing fine and were moving around at least except for Metal Bat which caused him to worry a bit but he attempted to contact him but got no response for a moment, he worried peaked but he immediately taken off that when four sos pings started to ring out almost simultaneously one was from pig god and the other was from the disciples he wasn't close to pig god and but he reported over the comms unit that he would go and help out the sword disciples given that he was close by.
He wouldn't let anyone else die on his watch even if he was fighting against another of the cadre he would ensure that they at least survived he didn't know why they were separated it could have been that they had gone after the kid instead while their master had dealt with the cadre he was facing but only to end up inadvertently running into a another one but that wouldn't really explain their distance in terms of longitude and latitude being on several floors highers then where…wait atomic samurai was now on the surface? Never mind that he continued to forward towards the disciple's signal, he went as fast as he possibly could until he came to the room that they were in, as he peered over the railing he saw that all three of the disciples were down on the ground, the word no constantly repeated through his mind as he jumped over the railing to check up on them, he prayed that they were alive and once he reached them he breathed a sigh of relief as they were so but their wounds were served they would need to go topside soon so that they could be looked at or they would bleed out.
Iaian spoke up and told him that he needed to leave and that the cadre was still there and at that mention he looked to the side and was just able to dodge out of the way of an attack aimed directly at him, he felt the sprinkling of something touch his face as he dodged as he took a proper look at what attacked him, something started to slink in through the cracks of an adjoining door while it's main body slithered in through the large gap, it seemed to be a sentient being of water he could see how it could defeat the the sword saints descipleshowever it didn't seem like a bigger threat than phoenix man he could take this thing down even with out brave giant he was fairly sure of it but first come first securing the three swordsman so as he dodged out of the way of another three water jets he unleashed three watchdog men from his backpack and ordered the three of them to take the swordsman to safety each of them understood and continued forwards, child emperor was a bit worried that the watchdog men would be fired upon so he handed one of them his umbrella to cover for the other two but no shot was made against them as they went which was a curious display he thought, his coms sparked again and it was of the surface team explaining how they had killed the cadre and were now going to be retreating back to the perimeter along with the child.
A direct message was spoken over the coms coming from Atomic Samurai he was concerned about his disciples and their status and child emperor assured them that they were doing fine and that his robots would be taking them up soon, he asked about what monster he was fighting and he explained he was fighting the cadre evil natural water. The mutants chimed in and spoke that the monster only reacted to negative emotions so if he ceased all intent against it it should stand down but that was definitely better, easier said than done and it would explain why it didn't bother to attack the robots or completely finish off the nearly unconscious swordsman.
He continued to dodge around using his metallic arms and his flute saber to take care of the symbiotic fish that the monster also sent his way, the water jets were extremely dangerous but he was able to out maneuver them for the most part, he had a weapon that he could use for this exact purpose nothing, he didn't think that he would get a chance to use it but ever since seeing this monster on the mutants data that they gave them it was wise to keep it on him just in case and the case was now as he jumped up into the air and unveiled his next tool snow blind snowman a large configuration of a machine which to a casually observer looked like it was made from lego bricks but in actuality was an advances shaped memory metal, as he was up in the air he started the monster shot out two more jet beams at the creature with a flash freeze breath instantly freezing the monsters attack solid which steadily followed down the path to the monster itself, before impacting and starting the freezing process the monster was seemed to be completely nuetralize for the moment just as he expected the monster wasn't able to regulate it's own body temperature the best it could do was hunker down and concentrate the water making it harder to freeze but it was only a matter of time before it would be over.
The monster struggled in vain as it continued to get frozen in place defeated, now all that was left to do was finding a way to get rid of it, he didn't have the tools to contain the creature but he couldn't just leave it down their to run amok, suddenly drive knight had made a resounding entrance down into where they were surprising him slightly, he questioned what he was doing and how he didn't ask for any assistance but he told him that the mutants wanted to ensure that he was going to be ok which looking at the creature encased in ice he did fine, drive knight told the child that he could leave and he would handle the rest and contain the creature, child emperor was interested in how he would do that given its size but more importantly what did he plan to do with the monster and why would he want to keep it, he only remarked that he dissection study and to use as a reference for biological weapon replicas and that there was a lot they could learn from mysterious being and monsters just how they had also learned and developed a lot from viewing animals and insects as long as the end serves justice the means matter very little he stated and child emperor could partially understand where the man was coming from in his thinking.
This still left the matter of how he would transport the monster given its size, of course he replied that he would simply make it smaller and he was shocked when his body shifted to an all gold type transformation he remarked that his tactical gold allowed him to generate a lot of heat very quickly he will evaporate the fat and scoop up the remains of the monster for study, child emperor asked if he could help out as well as he sprinkled oil all along the monsters frozen surface before taking his leave for cover he didn't know if drive knight would trigger the monsters abilities and drive night was actually curious about that himself so when he firsts started to burn brighter as the heat inside himself started to build and the ice started to melt but the monster didn't react to him drive knight slowly made his way inside along with the oil that covered the monster before erupting all of the heat that was building inside him a cloud of vapor quickly spread out through the entire area covering his vision but by the time that drive knight came out he held a much smaller version of the water creature in his grasp inside of a small cage, the water seemed to be at best around 1 gallon large but it still maintained its form showcasing it's two large eyes that stared blankly at him in return.
With the monster secure drive night and the child emperor going topside, child emperor was a bit anxious heading up top and facing everyone again, his mission resulted in the deaths of the tank top master, and while no one here expected to get out unscathed, someone dying was completely unexpected even to them. Atomic samurai quickly reunited with his pupils; they were still incredibly weak and could barely get up off the floor. He asked if neith could help them and while she couldn't she didn't know if the medic bot could help them with those wounds fortunately for them she didn't have to find out as, fubuki stepped up to the plate and told them that she could help out, as she dragged over DO-S and touched a hand to the monster before touching Iaian, with a flare of her psycho power the blonde gentlemen wounds started to mystically heal and recover to the astonishment of all present around them, the man quickly recovered and shook his head looking around himself before noticing his master the two of them shared a firm handshake showing that he was alive although he would have preferred if the others were healed first before he was.
DO-S was knocked unconscious by healing okamaitachi and atomic samurai immediately offered himself to help bushidrill, however fubuki declined and remarked that the battle wasn't over just yet and they needed all the help they needed to recover on their own and the girl looked to the two other monsters in their midst jackie remarked that she was happy to help although she didn't know how strong she was so how much she could drain from her could be inconsequential which sero noted, before the group all turned to Aki, the bear/minotaur monster didn't say or do much of anything while she was out and she scoffed at the idea of helping them remarked that humans should handle their own problems, which atomic definitely took offense to but before things could really blow over koda took her off to the side and after a short conversation the bear reluctantly held out her hand to take which fubuki did so and healed up bushidrill incredibly quickly, bushidrill once having the situation explained to him attempted to offer his thanks but the aki mostly just huffed in response and remarked that she didn't do it for him.
Child emperor was confused by the three monsters and asked if they were drive knights but he explained that the monster DO-S was under fubuki's custody and the other two were under the mutants of course he lamented to the fact they had switched a new leaf he would have been happy to have them also collecting monster on his behalf maybe even a few cadre knowing of how they were before that was and child emperor mostly hummed in thought at that, most of the team was above ground all besides darkshine, puri-puri prisoner, tatsumaki, flash and sweet mask at least those that were in charge of the assault anyways, apparently both bang and bomb was also down there somewhere but like flash they had no idea of where they could potentially be momo had sent both Gwind and Gfire down their to investigate there last known appearance and hopefully they could go from their darkshine told them that he was going to be heading back up with both puri-puri and garou but still hasn't responded yet for further intel, bakugo had went off to go tracked down the demon cyborg and speaking of which the two of them landed down.
Bakugo was the first one to speak up as he told them what the cyborg was doing when they were all out there fighting, the dumbo machine was actually doing house chores the entire time waiting for his master to get home. Genos attempted to defend his actions by remarking that he was not included in the planning of the attack and by approximation, he should bear no responsibility for what happened to the heroes who participated, bakugo argued that he couldn't believe that his sense of "justice" was that low that he wouldn't even bother taking care of the monsters that were literally in his backyard, his classmates quickly began to back him down as bakugo and genos got into more and more heated of an argument about the cyborg's inaction but it was child emperor that truly caught everyone's attention when he perfusion started to apologize to everyone present he should have been more trusting of the cyborg, the mutants, and bang he also apologized for his poor planning skills he underestimated the monster's strength and for that tank top master was killed, tears started to tear from his eyes as he asked for forgiveness not looking up to meet any of their gazes as he wept.
Zombieman was the first one to speak patting the boy on the head and replied that he shouldn't blame himself for the faults of all of them, he had serrated them to make all of them more comfortable, it was them that were selfish and underestimating the monsters they couldn't put their pride to the side to work together given the severity of the situation and for that, they all should take some of the blame on themselves zomebieman spoke and the other S-class heroes all chipped in to agree with zomebieman's sentiment, zombieman also added that it was good enough to know that he needed to work on character judgment and it would be a huge benefit to him in the future.
Child emperor was so happy and relieved to hear their words but there was still something he felt like he had to do which was give up his authority and the person he gave that to was none other than whoever was in charge of the mutant which he believed to be green savior, despite their group being larger and for the most part weaker than that of the S-class heroes they had all been mostly unharmed from the conflict even the ones that had entered into the monster base proper barely had a spot on them and on top of that they had signified something that the S-class lacked which was teamwork and unity which he believed now more than ever was something important at that very moment.
The S-class heroes all believe that he could still make a fine leader and would still follow him if he wanted to but he is adamant about relinquishing his capacity at least for the moment and from all sights were on midoriya, the first thing they needed to do was ensure the safety of the others once they get a positive lock on where bang and bomb were he was planning to head back down to go get them, he would probably need a small team of members to go with him that and atomic samurai and metal bat both volunteered to head down with them, they didn't know the movement of any of the other cadre and tatsumaki seemed to have gone radio silent but his danger sense was telling him that something massive was going on in the center of the structure that he was avoiding during his travels down inside the base.
The cadre still represents a huge issue and as they have seen they have the potential to come up towards the surface so some of the S-class should remain above just in case they attempt to attack the perimeter defense with all the other heroes, police, and military. The third and last thing that he wanted to figure out was where saitama was as he looked at bakugo, he told them that he was somewhere in P-City which was 21,000km away from them but that didn't completely answer the question of where exactly in the city of where the man was but that was all that bakugo had gotten out of the girl but he would try to contact her using flashes beacon and see if he could garner any more information from her and while that was partly the reason he also was concerned about if the girl was still alive he hoped she was still alive on his travels upwards from the depths he had run into something that seemed have been absorbing everything in its path he didn't know what exactly it was but he immediately started to fire at it as he ran away, he passed by a couple of monsters on his path and the living wall of flesh seemed to not care what was in its way as it started to consume it on it's path of destruction.
As he directed a direct message to the flash beacon and spoke when he didn't receive a word for some time he was fairly concerned but he breathed a sigh of relief that the girl had finally spoken back, despite wanting to ask how the girl was doing he stowed that away and asked the girl for more details on where saitama was in P-city, unfortunately, she doesn't know where exactly the monster had gotten the individual into a pricey hotel, this hotel is was shielded by monsters around it which would block communication in and outside of its borders she advised the best course of action to look for the man was to call each of them and see which ones didn't respond at all. bakugo immediately went to inform the rest of them about the bald person whereabout for the moment ignoring the questioning looks on who this saitama was and why he was so pivotal to the operation to the point that the monster themselves took the opportunity to simply get him away from the battle instead of just killing the man and it was genos shining moment to broadcast on how saitama was some undefeatable hero that they likely knew they could not beat and despite the skeptical looks the S-class gave him both the mutants and zombieman corroborated the man's story speaking of the hero midoriya, todoroki, and bakugo all spoke about how he was the one that actually killed the dragon level threats in C-city not them.
Atomic samurai put two and two together and asked if the person they were talking about was the B-class that Genos kept referring to as "master" and genos nodded his head and then he had a double realization of when he was consulting with Bang about someone that was far stronger than the both of them and he had met him before, he smacked his head in disbelief but he guessed it all made sense now. Midoirya assigned the others to go and fetch the man for him, halting Genos' request to go there himself as his power would be better used where they were. The second fast other than himself was Iida under his own power it would take him 20 minutes to cross into P-city but then they would have to actually search for him, so they sent their best searchers for this job Jiro, shoji, Tsu, and uraraka there was also the danger of monsters being present as they were charged with keeping everyone else away and ensuring that the man didn't leave the establishment without being known in fact the entire hotel was likely to be monsterized individuals at least that's what silver chain thinks.
Given the danger atomic samurai also assigned his disciples to go with the five teens for safety, and the teens thanked the master for their aid, Iida took a moment to get himself into position while uraraka set everything up, of course before they would need some device to hang onto the teen to travel but now with her new gravity attraction things would be much easier for all of them, she heavied Iida by one time and lightened the others and pressed her finger to her knuckle, now that things were prepared she remarked that Iida could run off as fast as he could when he was ready and that the moment he took off the others would need to jump high up into the air so that they didn't drag along the floor and everyone followed her instructions to the letter as the boy took off and it almost looked like the disciples were flying away from them as they followed after the fast teen as they were pulled along on invisible strings.
They watched the group go until they were out of sight, now the group was just waiting for confirmation of bang's location and the others so they could start on their next operation but a new voice over the comms network quickly popped up over all feeds.
"This is sekingar, we have the boy in protection and are currently driving away from the scene. Tatsumkai feel free to go as wild as you like." the man spoke.
"Finally." was the only reply they heard from the woman, midoriya was going to say to delay that because there were still people down there his danger sense completely cut him off as he dropped down to a knee clutching at his head, this was insane purely insane what was that he was feeling just now? and fubuki was actually looking pretty similarly to midoriya as she sensed the psycho pressure that was being exhibited her sister psychic power was the most focus she's ever felt it been but the creature she was fighting was no slouch either it just seemed unfathomable that such strong creature even existed. The rest of the group was about to ask the two of them what was happening before their eyes were completely drawn to a large spire that was brought to the sky, rampant vibrations shook the landscape as the large nearly 15 km spire sprung up into the air, along with that they're seemed to be a massive being at the top of the structure just from the fact that they could see if from where they sat down at the bottom, they saw multiple beams of energy seemingly erupt from the structure before another massive being emerged from the top, both momo and child emperor looked through binocular and found that the thing tatsumaki was fighting could only be described as monster that was women emerging from a larvae like cocoon.
They seemed to be talking for a moment before the two of them went at it again generating a massive storm that seemed to take front shooting storms and psychic energy every which way. The group looked to midoriya on what they should do next and he truthfully didn't know could they take on such a monster like that? He knew that they were the first ones to preach not to fight alone but in this case, tatsumaki really may be the only one able to fight that thing they might just get in the way of her ad to confirm that the girl actually came over the radio ad spoke to all of them telling them to keep out of the battle, getting his bearings straight from hearing her voice midoriya went to address his concerns he told her that darkshine, puri-puri prisoner, sweet mask, bang, and flash were still in the base, the girl scoffed and despite the massive battle could still spend the time to berate him about how she already knew about that and she was "working on it" as they spoke
Well midoriya asked her for details on how she was planning on doing that and she gave a very short explanation of communicators signaling that she couldn't afford to not focus too much, but both neith and child emperor was able to deduce that she was going to use the communicators to find the others that were still inside, knowing that momo got to work trying to hook the G-units up to the same signal that the communicators used during the fight they had just managed to meet up with bang and bomb and they confirmed that the two of them were ok but just a bit banged up and tired, this still left flash up in the air but given how fast the man was midoriya was sure that he would be alright he could escape the base in no time flat if all he needed to do was run in a straight line even if he fell out of the base near summit he should be able to stabilize himself that was if he was in the base and didn't leave down a tunnels system somewhere. The group all watched in awe a the display but midoriya still wanted to help at least somehow, they spotted a number of fleshly protrusions starting to take over the landscape, bakugo remarked that he had seen that thing before and how it was down in the base previously it was absorbing monsters as it moved so he speculated that it may have been powering that creature up in some way or form and the group not seeing what else they could do decide to roll with that speculation and destroyed the fleshy growth where ever they could find them, this would double as helping the parameter team as the flesh started to spread quickly throughout the town itself.

Saitama was currently getting a massage in his hotel room he hadn't seen genos all day which was weird to think about but maybe the damage he had taken was just that severe for his reconstruction to take some time, he never met whoever was repairing him but he wondered if the man was annoyed that he got beat up on such a short amount of time, he would be pretty annoyed to fix something just to have it broken again when he next turned around, barring the missing genos the hotel was a pretty cool place any time he ordered food it seemed to arrive almost instantly, it was a bit tangy but was nicer than what he would eat normally so maybe that was just normal for food now? He never bothers with fancy stuff as it wasn't worth the price for such small portions at the market.
They had a couple of activities, such as a pool with a soothing hot tub. The tub was a bit weird and was actually green instead of the natural clear color of water they told him it was just a holdover but it was still relaxing in a way very bubbly on the skin and his skin felt more refreshed than it ever was before. The message was also unique; he heard of this type before and was curious about how it would feel. He thinks it was called acupuncture however but there had been some problems apparently as they had to switch between a number of different masseuses before they had to call it off. The only thing that weirded him out really much was how everyone was incredibly nice to him even when he would bump into them or something was his fault the person would apologize almost profusely and somehow take the blame for him he didn't know how to take it but he wrote it off as him just not used to others showing him any courtesy whatsoever.
It was also a fancy establishment so maybe people of the upper echelon didn't want to cause disputes, he really needed to thank that ninja for the ticket it was like the first time he could experience living life lavishly but speaking of the girl he was a bit skeptical of his house, he checked to ensure that nothing was happening in Z-city o the news programs but it seemed that everything was taken care of as the news said that it was a golden day in Z-city free of monster conflict which was a definite rarity, he guessed he should have asked about what company the girl work for and what type of construction they were doing down below his house, wait could they be installing a new electric grid? Were people about to come back into the uninhabited zone does that mean that he would start having to pay rent or worse be evicted for squatting? …..should he go and stop them if that was the case? Well if he did that then he would get in trouble with the law but maybe a monster or two could halt their progress and they have to reschedule or he could pretend to be a monster and scare them away to save his house…hmm he would need to go lay down and truly consider these options.
Ending note: The S-class get their revenge! Instead of the 1v1 the OPM seemed to favor, they did it more MHA style where they just jumped them all to defeat them, sludge jellyfish dying had huge consequences for evil natural water-poor water boy, now we're nearly done with the underground portion which will conclude next chapter which will also kick off the first part of the Final battle portion of events title will change as well next.
