13. Hopes of Continuing

Hello dear readers, it's been quite a while since I last posted something. Sorry I've been away for so long, but I feel I owe you all a brief explanation as to why. For the last several months, I've dealt with a lot of personal problems on the home front. Many things I don't intend to disclose in detail have taken up my time as of late, and it's left me down. Alongside feeling upset about many things irl, I've had a huge writers block that's effected me as well, taking away what little motivation I've had to continue writing.

I'm reaching out to try and see if people still find the room to care about my works. I've been gone for so long, I'm not even sure how many will see this author's note, but I felt I could at least try. I'm hoping to see what people enjoying in my work. I've requested this in the past as a source of feedback, but I'm on the end of my rope here. If I'm to find the motivation to continue with my fanfic, I need to hear and understand what people liked about it in the first place, preferably in greater detail if possible.

Did you enjoy the smut? Did you like the more specific type of stuff (I.e smut, rape play, the teenage characters, incest, etc)? Did you feel I went too far in places? Do you feel I could have done even more of these things (like the examples given above)? Do you feel you enjoyed the story? Did you enjoy specific characters or wished to see more of them? I genuinely feel I need to understand what the audience enjoys in my smut fanfics because I do truly feel this type of feedback will be necessary for me to continue writing, as I'm hoping that it will give me the motivation needed to continue writing.

I truly do hope this reaches those who are interested in providing some feedback. Given I haven't posted in months, I doubt there will be that many people getting back to me with such feedback. If that's the case, I think I will consider giving all of my fanfics the indefinite hiatus treatment, though I hope I do find the motivation to continue if I do get such feedback.
