Chapter 21

"Welcome, Mr… Sukuna?"

"Why are we even doing this?" Gojo muttered through gritted teeth.

"Shut the hell up and get this over with!" Sukuna growled back. He turned to the attendant. Once more another fae but they kept a calm expression on their faces and spoke softly.

"Very well then, now, your wives had filled us in on some of the details. Mortal enemies, no doubt, jujutsu sorcerers… that explain quite a bit here… Not to mention we have one arrogant in his power, the other is just as arrogant and yet oddly enough respectful…"

"What is he blabbering about?" Sukuna muttered to Gojo.

He merely shrugged his shoulders to it all.

"Now, we have prepared a special session for the two of you. One of you needs to understand that despite weak beings around you, force isn't always necessary…"

"Ooo you got called out!" Gojo laughed.

Sukuna sneered at him for that.

"And the other, needs to understand it's okay to ask for help and not a form of weakness or challenge to your manhood…"

"PPpppffffff!" Sukuna snorted out.

"Shut up!"

"It appears we will have to lengthen the time of the session. Now, gentlemen, please walk into this room…"

Sukuna glared at Gojo and Gojo glared at him as they walked into the unknown, dark room together…

The attendant sighed aloud.

"I do hope this is going to be okay, this is Ryomen Sukuna we are talking about…" he muttered to himself. Yet, as he peered into the room… as an employee he can do such a thing. He found it strange as Sukuna was much like his old self with no power, and yet, at this moment. He is tending to a kitten.

A small, white, fluffy kitten.

Going over the notes the fae paused oddly realizing what had happened. "They… oh dear…" he muttered. "I better contact Celine about this…"

#

Sukuna stood in the room, that changed and altered to that of his home back in the domain. He sneered at it all. "What the hell is this about anyways…" he muttered.

But then, he heard something strange.

A sound that was low and weak, but, what was it? Curiosity won out as he stepped outside and looked about, nothing was seen. "I must be hearing thing…"

"Meow…" came a gentle and yet weak call.

Sukuna looked down.

A pathetic, trembling looking thing lingered and was desperately trying to reach him. "A kitten?" he muttered. "This is MY test, is a goddamn kitten?!" he roared out loud.

He had half a mind to crush it.

The other half, suggested he leaves it outside to die.

If he does that, he knows this therapy session or whatever the hell this is won't end. "Take care of the kitten and this is over… seems easy enough…"

He reached over and grabbed it.

"RARW!" came out of the kitten.

"You ungrateful ball of fur!" he roared back. But, taking a closer look, he realized why it screeched.

It was wounded.

It took a little time for Sukuna to adjust his grasp, he realized he was too rough and the cat suffered for it. So, he learned to be a little gentler. Before long, he was able to cup the kitten into his dominant hands. It didn't roar out, it didn't bite him… in fact, it started to purr as if to thank him!

"Huh… so you're a kitten? I wonder why mortals kept pets like this…"

#

He had a book in his possession on tending to a wounded animal. He read up on it and made certain to do everything right, but the main thing was to be gentle. The kitten is fragile since it is wounded. So, he kept himself calm, and did everything possible for this little creature.

Before long, the wounds healed, the kitten was out and about. In fact, it was oddly playful.

"I didn't think this would be so… rewarding…" he thought. He toyed with the cat for some time, playing and feeding it. But as well he realized. The cat never flinched from looking at his face. It never ran in fear from it, it trusted him the moment their eyes met.

"Do all animals have such bravery?" he wondered. "Then again, creatures like this have no concept as to what I am, who I am… there's… no judgment…"

He paused oddly to this. "Never thought something like this was possible…"

He would never admit it, but the kitten was rather nice to have around. Sukuna spoke to it like a person and he swore that kitten knew what he was saying and understood every word of it.

It wasn't long before he started to confide in the kitten. After all, who is it going to tell?

And yet, it felt like days, weeks had passed since he took in this tiny creature. To the point Sukuna nearly forgot where he truly was!

He passed out on the couch with the kitten in his lower hands, gently, he would scratch it behind the ear and stroke it until it purred. His favorite part was when the kitten was fed and its ears twitched in a cute manner.

They both fell asleep then and there… yet waking up…

The first to do so was Sukuna himself. He stretched himself out and expected to see the kitten on his lap… he was mortified to find Six Eyes curled up there!

"Get the hell off of me!" he shoved him off his lap.

"OW DAMN IT!" Six Eyes swore. "What the hell was that for!?"

"Why the hell were you sleeping on my lap?!"

Suddenly, Six Eyes looked mortified. "I was that close to your junk!"

"Wait… YOU WERE THE KITTEN!?"

"WHAT?!"

The fae who ran this was quick to intervene, he tried to explain that both did very well, however, he couldn't get over their yelling.

"YOU MADE A FOOL OUT OF ME SIX EYES!"

"NOT HARD TO DO! YOU ACTUALLY TOOK CARE OF ME AS A KITTEN!"

"HAD I KNOWN IT WAS YOU, I WOULD HAVE LEFT YOU FOR DEAD!"

"NONE OF MY PURRS WERE REAL!"

Sukuna froze. "TAKE THAT BACK!"

CLAP!

The two silenced themselves as the fae had enough of their bickering. "It appears this did more harm than good. I spoke to my superiors and they agreed since you are leaving tomorrow, you can bathe now to forget what you saw." He decreed.

"Thank the gods" Sukuna muttered.

Gojo also jumped at the chance.

They were taken to another section, but the bath here was rather large. "This is shared accommodations, both of you enter the bath, you stay in for no more than ten minutes, and please, don't drink the water"

"Who would be stupid enough to do that… besides this asshole" Sukuna asked as he nudges Gojo.

"You're one to talk!"

"GET IN!" the fae ordered.

They glared at their attendant before doing what they were told. Stripping down, they bathed first and then entered the odd water that appeared strangely black. Sukuna paused to it as he let it slip through his fingers. The sensation was odd but it felt pleasant.

"Oh I cannot wait to forget about this, seriously, I cannot wait!"

"Finally, we agree on something…" Sukuna muttered. "To think you were that kitten… so weak and pathetic…"

"Hey!" he snapped back.

But it brought a smile to the face of Ryomen. "You have nothing bad to say back at me, do you? You admit, I took good care of you in your pathetic state!"

Six Eyes kept silent.

They didn't speak much, but they swatted the water here and there. The time on the wall dictated they had eight minutes still.

"This is stupid…" Satoru muttered.

"Not as much as you, but go on."

"What the hell is with you huh? You think that your wife switching our bodies would do us any good? Is she nuts?" he demanded.

"Don't you dare call my wife nuts! Your wife is insane!"

Satoru glared at him. "Take that back! My wife has done nothing more than care for others around her, even your sorry ass!"

"That makes her insane. Who in their right mind would do that for me?!" he snapped back.

They bickered back and forth over nothing, it was nearly five minutes left of their bath when both did something foolish.

Satoru was always an expert at making a water gun with his hands.

Unaware that Sukuna was a master at flicking the water surface but making a large wave of it.

At the same time, they both tried to catch the other off guard, and launched a small stream of the bath water at each other… unfortunately both of their mouths were open at the time to call the other out.

Ryomen Sukuna and Satoru Gojo drank the water…
