This is set after the events of series 3. John hasn't seen Sherlock since Moriarty's return and worries that his best friend no longer needs him. What will happen when John's true feelings (and Sherlock's) are finally revealed? And when Moriarty decides it's time for another "game"? M for sexual situations, violence and character death. He thinks of it as if the bullet that pierced his shoulder in Afghanistan bore the name of Sherlock Holmes and launched John spinning right into his solar system, and if Sherlock had understood metaphors, he'd known that he's the fixed point John revolves around. John's POV during series 3.
