He found the studies of feline and human interactions quite fascinating over time it seemed. He never quite realized that he could adopt it to his own social interactions in life as well. In order to see if this worked.. He had to test this theory. Sherlolly! :)

Motivated forgetting is a debated concept referring to a psychological defense mechanism in which people forget unwanted memories, either consciously or unconsciously - a method in which people protect themselves. When John wakes up and doesn't remember why can't breathe, he decides that maybe that was the point all along.
