This is a poem I wrote when I watched The Reichenbach Fall for the second or third time. I had been thinking about the line Sherlock says that goes "I may be on the side of the angels, but don't think for one second that I am one of them." I hope you like it.

John sometimes wonders what life would be like if everyone was like Sherlock. Kingdom!verse. Drabble-esque.

It is a monumental mistake to theorize before you have all the data. It is an even bigger mistake to underestimate the depths Doctor John Hamish Watson will go to for Sherlock Holmes. Second Person Narrative, in which John realizes something is up and there is nothing that can stand in his way. References to thoughts of suicide and vague, minor character death.

What if John knew Sherlock before any of this madness happened? Right at the start of Sherlock's detectiving? And what if John never realized this until a little known event called the Reichenbach Fall? I'm not saying it's true; I'm just asking what if? Rated T because it's the Reichenbach Fall. That is not kiddie-friendly!

We had to write an essay in our english class and one of the titles we could choose was "Dear John" which immediatly made me think of Sherlock. "Write a letter to end a relationship. Be honest but try not to be cruel" was the instruction for that title and I thought that it was a perfect chance to write fanfiction and make homework all at once... so here's the result.

When John meets the other Holmes brother a whole new door is opened. So John invites the other brother for dinner. With, um, interesting, consequences. Sherlock isn't very happy with this new relatioship between his brother and John. John/Q. Skyfall Crossover but just Q's character. Rated for suggestive themes and language.

Post-Reichenbach. Sherlock finally returns to John. But no one told him that in the time he was gone, John had had a son. Eventual johnlock. Parentlock. Not mpreg.

John pays a late night visit to Baker Street with a very sick child. Disrupted experiments, hair-drying, and unscientific remedies ensue. (Future AU, John/Sarah pairing)

John gets a text from Lestrade telling him Sherlock is in hospital. The Consulting Detective turns out to have several broken bones and isn't the exactly the best patient John's ever had. (No slash)

In between Sherlock's death and return, John struggled. With the help of friends both old and new, John learns how to at least cope with the loss of his best friend. He learns how to live again and discovers new things to keep him going, even if it's not the same anymore. Post-Reichenbach. COMPLETE. Rated for violence & hints of adult themes. (In Between 'verse)

John tries his best not to get in the way of Sherlock's cases, but when the vivid noises of fireworks unnerve his senses and begin to bring back unwanted memories of Afghanistan, he cannot help but to hope Sherlock will notice and help him before things go too far.
