Hello, fellow Trainers. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to another installment of Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. I do apologize for the long wait, but I had writer's block with this one. In the last chapter, we had another breather from action, but we did meet a new OC Team Aqua Admin: A Bottlenose Dolphin faunus named Randall Delphin. Team Aqua as a whole is celebrating the capture of Captain Stern from Slateport.

Back at Beacon, the rest of the group meet Ebonie who's at the school now. We also meet a new OC named Shane Lorenzo who's an old friend of Yang's. Not only that, but we meet Sabrina again which is very nice for Nora and Ren. In Vale, Roman is still mocking Joey about his loss from Ruby. In the end, Mars hints at knowing Jaune when she's shown a pic of the group.

Here's my OC/Story Contributor list so far:

I hope this list continues to expand in the future.

Now, time for some personal interactions with Shauntal in Ghostly Beauty!

*Atlas. Northern Wastes. Snowpoint City. 22:12 pm*

A young, 20-year old woman with black hair tied into pigtails with blue scrunchies and amber eyes, blue pins on both sides of her hair wearing an elbow-length long sleeved white blouse, a blue bow on her chest, a short brown skirt that reaches her thighs, and a blue cardigan most of the time tied around her waist but sometimes when just talking worn on top of her white shirt. Candice also wears knee-length white and blue striped socks and brown shoes was stargazing with her hazel eyes as it was a clear sky. "What a beautiful night."

"Hey, Candice!" An older man of about 35 years old with brown eyes and a white beard about mid length wearing a thick white winter jacket and white snow boots walked up to her.

"Hey, Artie! What's up?" Candice asked with a smile. "Is this still about Slateport?"

"Partially." Artie shrugged bashfully. "I'm just wondering why you haven't answered the planet-wide call that was put out."

"I just feel that it's not my time to join in yet." Candice answered truthfully. "Rest assured, though: I won't stand idly by for very long."

"Oh, we know you well enough, Candice!" Artie laughed. After calming down for a minute, the older man spoke some more. "Look. We're all worried about what happened in Slateport. We obviously don't want something like that to happen here."

Candice, sensing the man's clear distress, put her hand on his shoulder. "I promise I won't let anything happen to Snowpoint City." She promised with a gentle smile.

"That's why Snowpoint City loves you, Candice." Artie smiled back before walking back to his house.

When Artie left her alone, Candice went back to stargazing as well as pondering. "Such a truly diabolical act, but why would Team Magma kidnap Captain Stern? Sure, he is known for creating the S.S Tidal, but I've never known Team Magma to have submarines." She was indeed pondering this as water based stuff wasn't really part of Team Magma's repertoire. "What if it wasn't Team Magma that took him, but someone else?"

*Beacon Academy. Headmaster Ozpin's Office. 06:12 am*

It was a brand new day in Vale and Beacon Academy and the rest of the help had arrived: Ebonie Star, Shane Lorenzo, Sabrina, Brawly, and Shauntal were all standing in Ozpin's office with Glynda, Peach, Port, Oobleck, Summer, Qrow, and Ironwood. "We appreciate you all coming here after the disaster in Slateport." Ozpin smiled.

"Truly despicable." Shauntal shook her head.

"Indeed." Glynda agreed. "We are happy to have you work with our students. In fact, two of you already know Mr. Arc and Ms. Xiao Long."

"Jaune and I are best friends and I look forward to working with him and his team, Mrs. Goodwitch." Ebonie smiled, Dark-Fang nodded in agreement.

"Same with me and Yang." Shane added. Bringing out his Poke-Ball, he released a Growlithe, but this one had a small scar on the right eye. "You looking forward to seeing Yang again, Flare?"

"Lithe!" Flare barked in excitement.

Shane leaned down and rubbed Flare's head affectionately. "That's a good boy."

"I'm here for my two friends, to help and make sure they don't get hurt." Sabrina brought up.

"What about you, glasses?" Qrow raised an eyebrow.

"Qrow, please." Glynda sighed in slight frustration.

"I am here to help and who knows? Maybe I'll find some more inspiration for a new novel." Shauntal answered.

"What happened in Slateport was not gnarly. I have a few friends there and I want to make sure no one else is hurt like that." Brawly revealed, his Makuhita punched the air as it wanted to get back at the bad guys.

"I think I should bring in some people from Atlas." Ironwood voiced. "Though, I don't think a military unit would account for this kind of attack. I think people with a more subtle touch."

All the adults looked at Ironwood, shocked. "I think that's one of the smartest things I've heard you say in a few years." Summer commented. She then looked at the five. "Why don't you five go and walk around Beacon so you can familiarize yourselves with the academy."

"That's a good idea, Mrs. Rose." Port agreed. "However, we must find Captain Stern."

"We will, Port. We will." Oobleck said at an actually normal speed, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Okay. We'll do that." Brawly smiled as he and the other four trainers left the office as a couple of them knew where they wanted to go.

Meanwhile, in Team RWBY's dorm room, said team, JNPR, and CFVY were all talking to each other about the other two arrivals. Plus, they could already hear the commotion about one in particular. "Man, the guys are still going gaga over that one girl with the glasses." Coco commented, overhearing the chatting in the hallway.

"I'm more interested in the guy with the spiky blue hair." Yang lightly purred.

"Yang!" Ruby lightly scolded with a small shove, not wanting to hear her older sister talk about boys like that right now.

"As for the girl, I believe her name was Shauntal." Ren revealed.

"Wait! Shauntal?! The Shauntal?!" Blake and Jaune shouted at the same time. "We had no idea she was here at Beacon!"

"You two have heard of her, then?" Ren raised an eyebrow at his team leader and the cat faunus.

"Know her?! She wrote the Ninjas of Love series!" Blake exclaimed happily.

"Oh, so now we know who writes your smut, then." Nora grinned.

"It's not smut! It's artistic erotic literature!" Blake retorted passionately.

"Hell, she wrote one of my favorite novels: Knight of Light!" Jaune added.

"She's written more than that. She's written all kinds of books. She's world-famous." Velvet smiled.

"Wait, she's written more than Ninjas of Love?" Blake asked in shock.

"Yeah. As Velvet said, Shauntal's written all kinds of stories from adventure stories to full-fledged horror novels." Jaune explained, making Blake blush in embarrassment.

"Oh... hmmm guess I got tunnel vision." Blake noted to herself.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Weiss and Nicholas got up to answer it. Seconds later, all five entered the dorm room with their Pokemon. "So, you dudes and dudettes are the ones that fought Team Galactic at the Vale Docks that day." Brawly smirked. "Not bad."

"Actually, we weren't involved with that. Teams RWBY and JNPR are the ones that performed that feat." Coco explained.

"Quite impressive." Shauntal complimented, smiling.

"Yeah. Yang and Johnny have always been powerful." Shane said, Flare barking in agreement. "You got that right, Flare."

"Oh, great. Another dog." Blake rolled her eyes.

"To you all, I'm Brawly." Brawly introduced.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Yang Xiao Long." Yang smiled, shaking Brawly's hand.

"Once again, good to have you here, Sabrina." Ren smiled at his other best friend.

"I couldn't stay away from you or Nora any longer." Sabrina giggled.

"So, Shauntal, what kind of Pokemon do you have?" Ruby asked curiously.

"Oh, I use ghost types." Shauntal answered.

"Cool!" Ruby's silver eyes sparkled. She then giggled when Thorn tickled her cheek. It was something the Beautifly loved to do with her trainer.

"Me? I use fire types like Yang." Shane grinned before frowning lightly. "Unfortunately, I haven't found any other Pokemon that I want to catch. Flare doesn't have any friends of his own yet." He then rubbed Flare's head again.

I'm best with fighting types, as evidenced by Creed." Brawly fist bumped with his Makuhita.

"Dark types." Ebonie said. "Like Shane, I'm trying to find more friends for Dark-Fang."

"And I use psychic types. We'll all need to work together, I sense." Sabrina said. "I can feel darker times approaching."

"On to a more cheerful topic…" Jaune said as he went up to Shauntal. "It's so great to finally meet you in person. You are a masterful writer."

"Hm?" Shauntal responds with a bit of a distracted smile but still turning her head towards Jaune. "Ah, a fan." she noted casually, "Sorry but I don't do autographs. My ghost friends get jealous easily." she then says without much thought.

"Oh, no. I'm not a fan. I'm a student. I'm Jaune Arc." He held out his hand.

Shauntal looks at Jaune again, this time her eyes looking more focused. Meanwhile Yang in the background was grinning madly at Jaune's move there as the others looked a little stunned. "Hah... hah hah hah..." the purple well endowed lady then laughed a little. "W-Well. Good to meet you, Jaune Arc." she then replies as she accepts his hand. "That was very corny.~" She then teases.

"Sorry about that. It's just I never, ever thought I'd meet you in person." Jaune chuckled as she let go of Shauntal's hand. Ace was perched on his usual spot on Jaune's shoulder. "This is Ace, my Rufflet."

"Ah.~" the shorter woman replies as she leans in close to Ace making the Eaglet Pokémon lean back a little in surprise. "What a healthy little bird you got there. You've raised him well." she noted analytically.

"I do my best." Jaune shrugged off. "I just still can't believe a master author is here in Beacon and work with us. Sorry if I sound too much like most of the people you've encountered before coming to this room."

"What people?" Shauntal asks with absolute honesty as she continues to stare on with a blank smile.

"He means the boys all gawking over you." Yang cut in.

"They were?" Shauntal replies, sounding surprised more than anything else as Jaune's friends and teammates walked on over.

"Uh, yeah. Look at yourself." Yang gestured to Shauntal's endowed body.

"Hmmm?" Shauntal looked down at herself. Indeed she was quite attractive. Perfectly healthy body, with breasts bigger than Yang, a butt bigger than Blake, thighs larger than Ruby's, and great hips to boot. Being around 5'05" helped with the cute factor too. "Well I agree I am above average in terms of endowment." she acknowledges, her tone suggesting it wasn't that big of a deal.

Her answer just left Yang stunned and a bit jealous that she just nonchalantly admitted she had breasts bigger than her own. Jaune decided to speak up again. "Regardless, we're happy you're here, Shauntal. Did the professors assign you a room yet?"

"Yes. One closest to the library. Seeing as I won't have time to write any books for a while. They've allowed me access to their selection of hunter books I've been wanting to read. I bet they're stuffed with great material." Shauntal replies seemingly oblivious of the group's bewildered expressions. This ghost expert was a bit of an oddball just from her demeanor alone.

"That's good to hear." Jaune smiled. "Well, if you want to hang out while you're here, JNPR's door is open to you."

"Ah right..." She then eyes Jaune and the others... "Waaaaiiiit. You're Team JNPR and RWBY?" She then asks as if it just donned on her.

"Yes, Shauntal. We are JNPR and RWBY." Jaune answered.

"Hmmmm" Shauntal then began pointing, "That would make you Pyrrha, Lie Ren, Nora, Ruby, Blake, Weiss, and Yang." She noted casually and then pointed at the Pokémon. "Making them Thor, Moss, Rosebud, Thorn, Achilles, Nicholas, Samuel, Lotus, Nicholas, Shadow, Valentina, Johnny, and Ben." She then listed off with ease.

"Yep. You got it. Well, I do mean what I just said." Jaune said.

"Right.~ Of course I'll hang out. I've been very curious of you lot ever since I read your profiles.~" Shauntal then says now acting much more friendly. "Never let opportunities slip pass you into the darkness or you may never see them again." She then says as if quoting something. "One of my earliest favorite quotes from-"

"Knights of the Forgotten Sun!" Ruby blurted out enthusiastically."

"Oh, you've read that novel, then." Shauntal smiled.

"It was one of your first few books ever made! You've improved a lot since then but it's still considered one of your best classics!" Ruby replies happily, clearly in kid mode at the moment.

"Ruby, calm down." Weiss lightly scolded.

"You know, maybe one day we could write a story together." Jaune offered.

"Mmmm" Shauntal looked thoughtful for a moment before looking guilty, "Sorry, but I don't think my ghosties would share.~" She then admits. "When you become a ghost type specialist, be aware of the fact that most of them are the jealous types." she then warns.

"Really? I wouldn't steal you from them. I just want to work with you." Jaune brought his hands up.

"I know~ But they're very selfish. Especially when it comes to me. I love them all the same though.~" Shauntal admits as she caresses one of her pokéballs.

"Maybe you could tell then I'm not trying to steal you away." Jaune suggested.

Shauntal shrugs with an "sorry" expression. "We could still talk though. I would love to have a chat with all of you. You all seem like such lovely people from what I've read. Stories being woven around you all in ways that even I cannot word properly.~" She then says with a good bit more passion than she's spoken up to this point.

"We look forward to chatting with you, Shauntal." Jaune smiled, holding out his hand again.

Shauntal accepts the shake with a bright smile all while Jaune suddenly felt invisible eyes on him from who knows where. "As for the rest of you" she then says letting go of Jaune and walking over slightly to address the others. "I look forward to becoming friends.~ I have... very little of those actually. When it comes to humans anyways." she admits.

"We look forward to becoming friends with you!" Ruby's eyes sparkled.

"And I look forward to getting to know you all and your Pokémon. Want to have a battle?" She then offers them all.

Everyone looked at each other when Pyrrha stood up. "I'll have a battle with you."

"Oh how lovely, the untouchable spartan~ Let's see here..." she then reaches into the air beside her as her arm disappears up to the elbow. Everyone around gasps including our heroes as she seems to grab something and then take it out. "Here, this little lovely should be on Achilles level.~"

Yang leaned over to Weiss. "Does Pyrrha seem a little upset to you right now?" She whispered.

"Hmmm, Jaune is pretty chummy with Shauntal." Weiss noted, sounding amused.

Coco popped up behind the two with a grin. "Looks like the Invincible Girl may have some competition. "

"I highly doubt that." Velvet noted as she appears as well, "She doesn't seem the least bit interested in that kind of thing."

"Still, like Ice Queen brought up, our resident blonde knight is getting pretty chummy with her." Coco reminded.

"He's just being Jaune though." Weiss adds as they all made their way to the Pokémon training arena.

"I'm excited to see one of your ghosties for the first time." Jaune commented. "Which one did you end up picking?"

"My personal favorite ghost line.~" Shauntal admits, "Was the first one I ever had. I was just a few years old when I got one of them." she explains.

"Well, can't wait to see it in action." Jaune said excitedly.

"Against a Bagon, it won't be easy." She admits but still sounding confident somehow.

"You two will do great." Jaune just couldn't stop smiling at Shauntal.

"Shouldn't you be cheering on your teammate?" She then asks in a genuine tone of curiosity.

"Can I not cheer for you as well as Pyrrha?" Jaune asked back.

"Hmmmm..." Shauntal looks over to Pyrrha and while she was oblivious to the fact that people all ogled at her she did recognize a jealous lover when she saw one. "That might be unwise." She noted, making Jaune confused.

"What? Why do you say that?" Jaune asked.

Shauntal chuckled, "And they call me oblivious." She noted before giggling some more as they near the arena building.

When they reached the Pokemon training area, everyone sans Shauntal and Pyrrha got seated. "Alright, Renny. Fearless Leader's already gettin pretty friendly with Shauntal, huh?" Nora nudged Ren's side with a teasing grin.

"Yes. Although I doubt it's beyond platonic." Ren replies with a little smile as a basic robot turns on and acts as ref.

"The rules are simple. Both trainers fight until their pokémon are unable to battle. Please send them out." they say robotically.

"Alright, Achilles! Show her what we're made of!" Pyrrha declared passionately.

"Bagon!" Achilles growled, excited to fight.

"Come on out and show them your great fire, Wicky!" She calls as she throws the pokéball into the air which then opens up and lets loose a stream of white energy which quickly forms into a tiny, white, 1ft creature that was in the shape of a thick candle with purple on top of its head, including a typical teardrop shaped purple flame. They had tiny stub for arms, a single yellow eye showing, its other blocked by what looked to be melted wax in the shape of hair. They had a tiny smile on their face, "Litwick!'' They cry happily.

"A Litwick!" Ruby exclaimed. "That Pokemon evolves into Lampent!"

"Don't remind me." Weiss groans, Nicholas shuddering at the thought.

"Yep!" Shauntal replies proudly, "They're deceptively very dangerous, the Litwick line! But if you can befriend and master them they're among the deadliest of ghosts!" She then explains to the crowd.

"This will be a good fight, then." Jaune was a little more excited now to see the battle.

"Alright, Achilles. Show her what we can do!" Pyrrha grinned.

"Bagon!" Achilles managed a grin himself.

"Wicky, show them what a ghostie can do." Shauntal smirked.

"Litwick!" Wicky twirled around for a second.

"Achilles, Dragon Breath!" Pyrrha ordered and the Bagon fired a blast of fire from his mouth straight towards the opponent.

"Wicky, evade! Then, Confuse Ray!" Shauntal shouted. Wicky dodged the Dragon Breath attack and then fired a ray at Achilles who suddenly felt dizzy.

"Achilles, what's wrong?!" Pyrrha asked in concern.

"Your Pokemon never experienced the confused status before?" Shauntal asked.

"Oh, that's cool!" Ruby's eyes sparkled.

"Uh-oh. Achilles is in trouble." Ren said.

"Why's that, Renny?" Nora asked while cuddling Moss.

"Achilles is confused, which means there's a high chance he'll attack himself instead of Wicky." Ren explained.

"Now, this'll be something to see." Shane chuckled.

"Agreed." Ebonie nodded. "What does your strategic mind think, Jaune?"

"Hmm... This could be trouble for Pyrrha. The confusion status does wear off over time, but it's irritating." Jaune had a hand to his chin while answering Ebonie's question. "However, in the time we've been a team, I've learned that Achilles is incredibly stubborn."

"Come on, Achilles! Fight through the confusion and hit Wicky with Dragonbreath!" Pyrrha ordered. Achilles tried to fight the confusion, but didn't and the Dragonbreath attack wound up rebounding and hitting himself. "Achilles!"

"Look at that. The confusion's already doing its work." Shauntal nodded. "Alright, Wicky: Ember!" A small stream of fire erupted from Wicky's candle toward the Rock Head Pokemon, but didn't do much damage.

"So basically, Ren's saying Pyrrha might this battle on account of confusion?" Weiss asked, Nicholas rubbing his beak against her chin softly.

"If it sticks around long enough." Blake responded, petting Shadow's head just as softly.

"Shauntal sure knows her stuff." Jaune noted quietly.

"Ruff." Ace flapped his wings a little as even he could tell why Pyrrha was doing this.

"Achilles, please! You have to fight through the confusion and hit Wicky." Pyrrha said. Achilles nodded at his trainer's request, albeit dizzily.

"You're gonna have to learn to deal with the effects of status conditions like confusion." Shauntal said. "Now, let's show you something I taught Wicky in my spare time from my latest novella. Fire Spin!" Wicky spun around for a minute and out of nowhere, a vortex of fire encircled Achilles. "Now, on top of your confusion, your Bagon will receive damage at the end of every turn!"

"Fire Spin... What a cool move..." Yang bemoaned from Johnny not having that move.

"But not a very strong one in this instance since Achilles is a Dragon type." Ruby reminded.

"It was a smart move, though." Ebonie brought up. "Moves that cause damage over time is a g ood thing to have sometimes."

"Achilles, let's try something different. Bite!" Pyrrha pointed to Wicky. He once again fought the confusion and this time, he succeeded and ran up to the Candle Pokemon and actually bit down, hurting him.

"Wicky!" Shauntal screamed lightly in concern.

"Yes! That's it, Achilles!" Pyrrha cheered. "That was super effective!"

"Okay, that was a pretty good hit." Shand lightly clapped.

"Lithe." Flare agreed.

"Deino." Dark-Fang voiced.

"You may be right, buddy." Ebonie rubbed her Deino's head.

Shauntal smiled goodheartedly. "Not bad, Nikos. Not bad at all, but you've left yourself wide open. Wicky, use Hex!" Everyone's eyes widened as dark energy gathered around Wicky as it hums and looks determined. Suddenly burst out from the Candle Pokemon and hit Achilles spot on, knocking him back.

"Achilles!" Pyrrha screamed seeing her Pokemon, her very first true friend get hurt like that.

Achilles shook his head, fighting through the pain. His eyes winced a little as he stood back up. His determination wasn't something not to be laughed at. The only other Pokemon that came close to matching the straight up stubbornness was Nicholas. "Achilles! We have to do our best!" Pyrrha's voice was soft.

"You really need to expand your team. I know you know that, but you've had Achilles on his own for a while now." Shauntal said.

Achilles shook his head again, snapping out of his confusion. He seemed to grin, feeling better already. "Good job, Achilles! You snapped out of it! Dragonbreath!" Pyrrha smiled. Achilles kept his grin as he fired white energy straight at the Candle Pokemon. The energy just hit the target, weakening Wicky, but not bringing him down.

"You came close to beating Wicky. But it's time to finish you. Hex!" Shauntal ordered. Wicky looked determined again as it once again hummed. This time however, dark energy gathered around Achilles and burst around him, knocking him down and out of the fight.

"Achilles!" Pyrrha screamed as she ran over to help her Pokemon.

"Since Bagon is no longer able to battle, Shauntal is the winner!" The robotic voice announced.

Everyone ran over to talk to the two. "That was a great battle, you two!" Ruby cheered, her eyes sparkling a little.

"Lillipup!" Rosebud barked.

"You two were awesome!" Nora beamed. Moss once again had his arms clasped around Nora's neck.

"No kidding. Who would've thought the writer of Ninjas of Love could be a great trainer." Blake smiled.

"Both of you did great." Jaune had a smile of his own. "Good job, you two."

"Thanks, Jaune." Pyrrha smiled back, her cheeks a little rose pink.

"Thank you, Jaune. I look forward to working with you, with all of you." Shauntal gestured to the whole group with Wicky moving to float just over her head, something that a few people giggled at.

"I agree with Shauntal. It'll be great to vibe with you all!" Brawly shouted happily.

"It'll be good to be with my two best friends again." Sabrina brought Ren and Nora in for a soft hug which they happily returned.

"Being around Yang again is sure to increase my standing with a lot of people back home." Shane grinned. Yang lightly slapped him on the left shoulder.

"You all have a bit of ways to go, but I have no doubt that you all will be top-notch trainers as well as Hunters." Shauntal added.

"Thanks, Shauntal." Jaune smiled which she responded with her own while Pyrrha's eyes were looking a little greener than before. Things were bound to get interesting at Beacon Academy and beyond from now own.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. We finally meet Candice in Snowpoint City in Atlas, more specifically in the Northern Wastes who talks with another, older gentleman named Artie about Slateport. When left alone, she begins pondering about Captain Stern and why Team Magma would kidnap him.

Once again at Beacon, Ebonie, Shane, Sabrina, Shauntal, and Brawly have all arrived and are looking forward to working with the students, each for their own reasons. Jaune and Shauntal start off a friendship, much to Pyrrha's chagrin.

That's not all, though. Pyrrha and Shauntal have a little battle between Achilles and Shauntal's Litwick Wicky which Shauntal won, though it was close.

As usual, if anyone has any ideas for this story, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me.
