THUD!
"hmm?" In a Sun-Lit hospital room, a boy wakes up with a start, he starts to blearily look around at his surroundings groggy at having woken up to a loud noise. "where am I?" he sits up as he looks at the familiar machines surrounding him, "a hospital" he mutters as he looks around at the life support machine, and the iv drip stand near him. "NURSE" he yells out, looking around for the button to call them, and as he reaches out he hears a scream, as the door starts to shake violent THUD! Coming from the other side, he presses the button as he yells again "NURSE, NURSE HELP!" he removes the equipment and needles, shakily from his body, and tries to stand up using the IV Stand. He tries to find something to defend himself around the empty room, only for his weak legs to cause him to trip and fall sending the stand down with him creating a racket. "NURSE! NURSE!" desperate at this point he crawls toward the bloody scalpel next to the door, he grabs it and tries to stand up again only to barely manage to stand.
CRACK! The door starts to splinter as the person screaming on the other side assaults it with all their strength. The boy starts walking backwards pointing the scalpel in front them. CRACK! The door breaks down revealing what seems to be a person in a zombie costume, splinters adorning their shoulders and hands, the intruder screams for the nth time as he lunges for him, grabbing him by the shoulders. The boy weak as he is shoves the scalpel into the intruders neck, only for them to scream louder this time and more gargled as he attempts to bite him "SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE" The boy punches the intruder in the jaw as he reaches towards the scalpel with his right hand. The intruder however slams him back into the wall with a loud thud just as he grabs the scalpel setting it free from his attackers neck. And then he thrusts it into his left eye. Killing him.
Feeling that the corpse atop him isn't moving he shoves it, into the wall, crawling his way to the other corner of the room, and as he looked at his surroundings, and the unmoving body of the man, staring right at him, scalpel in its left eye. He couldn't help it, he started wailing.

At the end of the corridor Rick could hear soft crying, he'd only woken up a few moments earlier, but seeing the state of the hospital had washed all his grogginess away. It looked like there'd been a war through here, and the roof was falling in certain areas 'what the hell happened here?'. Since he'd found no one in this place he decided to check out the crying, he'll surely find someone there right?
As Rick walked to the room, noticing that the door had been broken down, he entered the room only for a bloody scene to appear in front of him. A white haired boy covering his face with his bloody palms as he wailed into them, and the long rotten body of an old man, scalpel in his left eye still leaking blood. "Hey." he said loudly making his presence known to the boy as he approached him slowly, The boy yelped as he crawled back squeezing himself against the wall, looking scared of him. "what happened here," he said as he stared at the corpse, the boy still crying replied, "h-he broke down t-the door an-and he lunged f-for me he tried to kill me I-I swear!". "Okay, ok, I believe you ok? Calm down take deep breaths." the boy nods tears still streaming down his face as he tries to breathe. he starts approaching him and kneels in front of the boy after he reaches him, he waits for a minute giving the boy time to collect himself. "what's your name" he starts after the boy has mostly stopped his crying. "C-Cain" Cain looked at him with wide blue eyes as he started to stand up reaching to the drawer next to him for support.
"Listen we need to get outside OK, I don't know what happened here but this place is falling apart" Cain nods as he tries to walk almost falling, but he reaches out and catches him "I'll support you lets go." the freckled boy nods as he puts his arm around his shoulder, as they start walking to the exit
