Well now for the last route option where we have Ruby and Emerl help us but this one is the choice if we choose to leave them behind.

Makoto Naegi: Fleeing the Complex Chapter 5
Route: Ghost Inmate
Nicole felt a bit sad with that last one, also she started to feel strange in the head. She then resets back and enters the next option to her there were only two left.
Makoto looks up and sees an opening in the ceiling he could reach it if he was boosted up but Nicole and Brass would be too short to get him up there, but then he looked at the other two in the cell
"Psst…. hey" Makoto said getting the twos attention "I'm Makoto Naegi, this is Nicole."
"Hi" Nicole said waving
"Hello, I'm Ruby Rose and this is Emerl" Ruby said smiling and Emerl nods to them.
"I know these two, they been causing problems for Lord Frieza for a while, a really duo of Robin Hood sorts" Brass said with a smile.
"Well, we can work together. See up there" Makoto motioning up to the ceiling "Ruby boosts us up and we can escape."
"Alright, all of us right" Ruby said smiling
"Of course" Nicole said nodding.
Ruby nods "Alright then."
It took a bit but Makoto was boosted up and grabs onto the overhead pipe. He catches Brass with his legs and moves her up to the hole.
Brass opens the panel and gets in and helps Makoto in. Makoto then sees a stone in the large vent like area and smashes his cuffs off.
"Good, now what?" Makoto said thinking.
"Are we going to get Ruby and Emerl?" Brass said noting the ladder they could use.
"We could, but the more of us there is the more likely we could be caught" Nicole said with a nod.
"Hmmmm...I don't know" Makoto said rubbing his head, both make a good point and pulls out a coin "We'll flip for it"
"Alright, heads we leave them, tails we take them with us" Nicole said nodding.
Makoto flips the coin and catches it….it was on heads.
"I guess we're leaving them" Brass said feeling guilty.
"It is for the best; a small group is hard to spot" Nicole said as the two walk
"I'm sorry" Makoto said looking at the opening and leaves with them.
"They're probably just getting the cuffs off still...right?" Ruby asked Emerl who shrugs and both look at the ceiling opening
Ruby and Emerl will remember that…
Meanwhile the group of three move and find another opening, they open it and peering in they found they were in a storage room, the only way in was guarded by two guards Jeice and Burter.
"Quick let's get in and hide" Brass said and the three move
As they do Burter was talking to Jeice about a game they are both into. He said "So Guldo had like 10 health left after that, then he goes and plays 'The gates are open' and I was like, 'look at how much I care Guldo'"
"We need a way to get past them" Makoto said in a low voice.
"Well, I have four suggestions" Nicole said and showed they could use the Windwaker to do a Command Melody, pickpocket one of the guards, use a whoopee cushion or just sprint past them.
Makoto thinks on which to choose.
Sprint
"Okay, we'll run by them as fast as we can" Makoto said with a nod.
"Are you sure? Burter is known as the fastest guard here…. somehow" Brass said thinking
"Positive, besides they have no weapons on them we should be fine" Makoto said and gets ready to run.
"I ended up buffing up my guys and doing..." Burter said continuing to talk but notices Makoto and Brass run quickly past "Uh...was that the convict the captain brought in along with Brass?"
"Uh, yeah I think so" Jeice said thinking on it.
"What was it the captain told us to do when a prisoner is attempting to escape and to traitors?" Burter said trying to remember.
"Hnmmm…. I think blast them" Jeice said recalling
"Yeah, that sounds about right" Burter said with a nod
Makoto and Nicole were a good sprint away, but Jeice raises his hand and fires a ki blast at the two killing them instantly
Nicole sighs and said "Bet you thought they couldn't do that too" [Real message: Bet you thought that was just a spear] she then resets.
Pickpocket
Makoto goes sneaking and crouching up to behind Jeice. Not being seen he said, "Let's see what he has."
"Be careful" Brass said nervous
"I ended up buffing up my…." Burter said but then freezes as we going to a Skyrim like menu. Makoto then ends up taking all Jeice had including his armour and scouter before it resumes "...guys and doing like seventy damage."
Makoto had a bag full of the loot, but it was too much that he was unable to move or stand as he falls onto the floor getting the guards attention
"What the…. oh that little punk he stole my stuff" Jeice said noticing his lack of armour and scouter
"Well, he wasn't very smart either way" Burter said with a chuckle.
Nicole shakes her head "Did you really need all that?"
"Cupcake!" The cupcake said
"You said it, no loot left behind" Brass said with a giggle and Nicole resets.
Command Melody
"Alright I have the Windwaker and I know how to do it, let's hope this works" Makoto said reading a parchment.
"Good luck" Brass said smiling.
Makoto takes a deep breath and does the command melody which affects Jeice.
"I ended up buffing up my guys and..." Burter said but then noticing Jeice hoping like a statue away "Hey Jeice what are you doing?"
Jeice against his will moves to the closest cell, opens it and then hops on in and it closes behind him.
Makoto comes out of possession and looks to see Burter glaring at him cracking his knuckles "Heh…. hi..." Makoto said smiling nervous
"Oh, funny human huh? Well let me show you something funny" Burter goes and punches him.
Brass and Nicole look away and the lynx said, "Too bad you didn't know how to play like, an Ocerina or something." She then resets.
Whoopee Cushion
Brass holds it and ties a rock to it "There, this should provide our distraction" she said giving it to Makoto.
"Are you sure, seems too basic" Makoto said concerned.
"Hey, the classics will work" Nicole said with a nod.
"Alright then" Makoto said and throws the whoopee cushion.
"I ended up buffing up my guys and..." Burter said but stops when the whoopee cushion went off but that is not what the two thought they heard.
"Oh, come on! We talked about this warn a guy first!" Jeice said annoyed.
"What? No that clearly you" Burter said a bit amused.
"You what? Don't go accusing me!" Jeice said angered by that.
"Oh, do not be like that Jeice just admit it" Burter said with a shrug.
"I said it wasn't me!" Jeice yelled and tackled him.
The two get into a fight in the storage room. Taking this opportunity, the group run out of the room and find themselves in a cell block.
They are at the end, and they see a room with a lift they see another access panel in that room.
"We can get in there if we get on the roof" Brass said.
"We have to careful" Makoto said noting one guard named Zarbon was there nearby. "What you got Nicole?"
"Hmmm well I have three options" Nicole said showing them a Longshot tool, a spring bounce pad or Makoto could Power jump.
Longshot
Makoto holds it "Alright, hold on tight Brass."
Brass nods and wraps her arms around his neck "Got it."
Makoto takes aim and fires the longshot, and it keeps going, it concerns Makoto as it kept on going, eventually it stops and pulls Makoto off the ground and past the roof of the area he neded to get to and knocks him into the ceiling near a pipe.
"Ow..." Makoto said groaning.
Soon he goes through the gap between the ceiling and pipe which knocks Brass off and he zooms into a door that just closed.
We see the longshot hit a crate that a guard named Cheelai was standing by and upon hearing the slam looks up and turns to see him and shrugs.
Nicole shakes her head and says smiling "The Longshot only hooks on to wood things. Luckily you hit one!" He then rewinds.
Spring
Brass sets up the spring. "Alright all good let's do it."
Makoto nods and jumps on it bouncing up, followed by Brass. They end up on the ceiling and smile satisfied until someone clears their throat. They look to see Zarbon facing them
"That was very loud, I think they heard it in the east cell block" Zarbon said glaring.
"Ohhhh..." Brass said worried.
"Come to think of it those boingers are kinda loud." Nicole said think on it and resets.
Power Jump
"Okay, hand on Brass" Makoto said as he crotches into position.
"Got it" Brass said and holds on.
Makoto flashes for a bit and then jumps up and onto the roof of the small area. "Phew, now to quickly get it"
"Let's hurry" Brass said.
In the hurry to get in Makoto falls in and slams onto the ground as Brass and Nicole land perefectly "You, okay?" Nicole asked him.
"Yeah...I'm good" Makoto said recovering.
They look around the room and found a lone elevator shaft they could use "That's a long way down" Brass said nodding.
"Well, I have three suggestions we could use the elevator shaft with a balloon or a bungee it. Or we could use the working elevator to go down." Nicole suggested.
Makoto thought Balloon, Button or Bungee which would it be.
Bungee
Someone Makoto found something to use the bungee with and picks up Brass "Alright let's go!"
"Wait! Hang on!" Brass said seeing the rope and wanted to hold it.
But too late Makoto jumps down the shaft and zoom down but when they reached the end of the bungee's length, he broke out of it and the too plummet to their death
Nicole surprised said "Did... did you just bungee jump with a plain rope?" She then faces palms and rewinds.
Button
"Let's take the actual lift" Makoto said not wanting to risk anything.
"Good call" Brass said and presses the button to call the working lift.
It arrives and the three get on and ride it down, but it stops halfway and opens to see four guards.
"Alright boys, lunch is on me" A guard named Wrench said and looks to see the three and is surprised.
"Oh...this is bad" Makoto said nervous.
"Lunchtime already fellas?" Nicole said gulping.
Brass checks her clock and nods "Yeah" Nicole shakes her head and resets.
Balloon
Makoto has Brass hold onto him and an uninflected balloon and jumps down Brass screams a bit while Makoto quickly inflates the balloon.
They soon stop on a new floor they can enter and see the cost is clear and get in "Phew...I was worried that wouldn't work" Brass said looking around.
"So, what next?" Nicole asked.
"Look an opening into a vent" Makoto said pointing to it and there was it, across a pipe over a bottomless chasm "Hmmmm any ideas?"
"I have three" Nicole said and shows them using some helium to float across, trying to balance across or use some plunger shoes.
Balance
"Let's just walk across it" Makoto said confident it would work.
"Okay...you first" Brass said not chancing it and letting him go first.
"Okay" He gulps and heads to the edge.
He then gets on and stubbles a bit, he walks forward and nearly falls but recovers, he sighs in relief but the part of the pipe he was on comes off and he falls to his death.
"Oh, that pipe wasn't very sturdy" Brass said looking concerned.
"...Fatso" Nicole said with a grin and rests it all.
Plunger Shoes
Makoto puts on the plunger shoes "With these I can just walk across without falling."
"I hope so" Brass said nodding holding his actual shoes.
Makoto puts the last one on and prepares to walk, only to find the suction really was strong as now he was stuck and couldn't move.
"Well, that was a bust" Brass said shaking her head and helps him out the shoes
Nicole shrugs and just said "aeiou"
"Huh?" Makoto said and the lynx just shrugged.
Helium
Makoto holds the bottle of helium "Uhhhh...I am not sure my head could do what you're suggesting."
"Don't worry, I have this" Nicole said and puts the bottle tip in her mouth and releases the helium gas and her head inflates.
Brass and Makoto hand onto her as she floats them across the pipe. The two get off and into the vent while Nicole deflates her head and goes in with them.
Makoto pulls himself out and clashes onto the ground followed Brass and Nicole. "Uh...I need to learn to stick those landings" Makoto groans and recovers.
"Yeah, you do" Brass said nodding and looks.
There were on the dockside and two guards named Nidhiki and Krekka where standing guard to the pier leading to the only vehicles here.
"Great, Nidhiki and Krekka, we need to sneak past them" Brass said to them.
"I got some items" Nicole said and shows them A box, a tanuki leaf or a Hyperion gadget called the Shadozer
"Hmmmm" Makoto thinks.
Box
Makoto and Brass get under a box and Makoto said, "If this works for Snake, it should for us."
"I hope you are right" Brass said with a nod as she and him move to go past the two.
As they move Nidihiki hears their slow steps and looks making them stop "Huh?" He only sees the box "Just a box." He looks at Krekka and smiles getting and idea.
We next see Nidhiki and Krekka playing cards and the insectoid looking being was clearly winning and was smug about it. Makoto and Brass were face palming as this wasn't how the plan was meant to go.
Nicole shakes her and says "Hey, at least you weren't found!" She then resets.
Shadozer
Makoto gulps this was another Hyperion gadget that was also reviewed by Entrapta and he looks at the paper as he held the gadget that had a blue button. The paper reads…
Shadozer
The Unseen person is the deadliest.
Blend in. Become a shadow.

"Well...here goes" Makoto said and the two girls' nod. He presses the button.
The device activates and Makot and Brass were zapped into the shadows. They move forward and saw they couldn't be seen. Suddenly clouds begin to cover up the moon blocking the light.
Seeing this Makoto panics to press the button to reverse it. But it was too late just as both he and Brass were halfway out the light is blocked out cutting them in half killing them both.
"Now you're but a shadow of your former self." Nicole said and resets.
Leaf
Makoto smiles and gets onto some boxes with Brass "Let's use them leaves now Nicole."
"You got it" she said as she makes two leaves appear above both of them.
They take the power up and both get fox ears and tails and then fly over the heads of the just before the power up ends Brass sticks the landing while Makoto crashes onto the floor.
"Ohhh...the third time" Makoto groans as he recovers.
"So, what are our options?" Nicole asked looking around.
"Well, we could take the S.S Cold, it is a ship named after Frieza's dad plus it's the only boat ship the Stormcage has, or we could take the dinghy it's small, fast and reliable. Or we could take the rocket but not sure on its reliability" Brass said pointing to the three choices.
"Hmmmmmm" Makoto things.
Rocket
"Let's do the rocket" Makoto said, and the girls agree.
They climb into the rocket which could just fit them, and Brass closes the door. They start up the rocket, but the parachute engages before the rockets and due to wind catching the chute it throws the rocket off course and making it crash into the Stormcage
Nicole rubbing her head said "I think you mixed up the staging process a bit" she then rewinds.
S.S Cold (S.S Annie)
"If this is there only ship, we can take it" Makoto said with a smile.
"Well, there boat ship but yeah, let's do it" Brass said nodding
They board onto the ship and find no one guarding the deck. They sneak onto the bridge where the captain Ozzel sits on his captain's chair relaxing that is until Makoto, Brass and Nicole sneak up behind him and promptly take him out.
The S.S Cold then leaves the docks and sails away Makoto and Brass smiling at their successful escape, until a crewmember named Black Noir appears behind them with a knife drawn about to kill them
Nicole stops time and facepalms "Did you think none of the crew would notice an unscheduled departure?" she then resets.
Dinghy
The three gets on the Dinghy "Well, let's hope this works" Makoto said as he revs the boat engine, and it starts "Yes!"
"Freedom here we come!" Brass said smiling.
The drive the Dinghy away but their departure wasn't unnoticed as Nidihiki and Krekka noticed
"Did someone just leave?" Krekka asked curious.
"Yeah, I think it was Nagito" Nidihiki said thinking on it.
"I guess he is off to see his family" Krekka said with a nod.
Of course, it wasn't Nagito whoever that is but Makoto and group smiling as they sail away into the night and to freedom, they didn't raise the alarms and it will be too late once they find out. They were a real ghost.
Meanwhile a while later the alarm was raised for escape convict and traitor, so much they didn't notice Ruby and Emerl hatching their own escape. They then heard one guard saying.
"Did you hear, apparently the convict who escaped was leader of the Legion of Doom."
"Oh man, those losers, no matter Lord Frieza will deal with them in time" The other guard said.
"Legion of Doom, I have the exact coordinates of the Legion of Doom Airship, chances are Makoto will go there if true" Emerl said to Ruby.
"Then that's where we heading, after I get Crescent Rose back we will get revenge on what they did" Ruby said as she breaks out her cell and the two move out to complete their objectives retrieval and revenge.

Well here we go, Makoto was like a ghost but he unintentionally made two enemies that may come back to bite him in one route.
