"I am sorry Celeste . I don't love you anymore ." Max grabs my hand and pulls it away

I stare at him. He is the mafia boss of dauntless and also my boyfriend . He was my boyfriend if he is breaking up with me because we are not in relationship anymore .

"Why max? You said that you love me so much . You said that you will marry me one day." I am crying."Please don't do this to me !"

I am sad and angry. I love him so much that I am willing to transfer to dauntless rather staying in abnegation.

"I think that I fall in love with someone else ." Max shakes his head ."I am sorry Celeste . I don't want you to do anything for me okay? You are still my friend ."

"You fall in love with someone? Who is that?" I am shocked

"She is from erudite . She is jeanine's niece ." Max lowers his head

Jeanine's niece? There is only one person that can be : Abby. Abby's mom is Jeanine Matthew's biological sister so she is the one that max has crushed on

"She is girlfriend for Jason coulter's brother . How dare are you." I am screaming at him

"Oh Jason coulter . The one who had a crush on you?" Max raises his voice

"Are you jealous max? If you don't love me anymore， there are more things that you have to focus on." I slap his face

He grabs my wrist . My hand doesn't hit his face at all

"Don't try to ever hit me with it." Max smirks at me ."I don't like him not because he crushed on you but also because he is a jerk."

"Jerk is used for Candor not erudite max ." I pull my hand away from him."Don't ever talk to me again."

I grit my teeth. I can't cry in front of him. Even though I am weak but I don't want to show in front of max . Today is my aptitude test day and it will tell me which factions I do belong in.

"How is my sister beatrice ?" I ask him

"You mean tris ? She changed her name to tris . She ranked number one and she is administering the aptitude test today. You will see her probably later . She is our instructor this year ." Max shrugs ."You should go Celeste ."

Max is now gentle . I know that he is feeling sorry for breaking my heart but that disgusted me . I walk past him. I am glad that my sister made it to member and I don't know what will I choose

I can choose to leave because Caleb and Maria are staying behind but that will be selfish of me because I leave them with no choice .

The test is in afternoon so I will go to my class on the morning. I will have to go to my faction history class first and I will meet a lot of dauntless kids .

I walk into the classroom and Uriah is there talking loudly.

"Hey Celeste ." Uriah waves at me .

"Hey morning Uriah ." I sit down beside him.

"She is our mafia boss's girlfriend ." Uriah smirks

I shake my head . Everyone are staring at me right now

"We broke up a minute ago." I spit the words out."He has a crush on someone else."

"What hell is that? Who ? How is that even possible!" Uriah jumps up from his seat.

"She is from erudite ." I say

The girl gives me a pity look. She is pretty with short hair

"I heard about. Is her name Abby? She is a bitch. She is flirting with so man boys even now she has a boyfriend ." The girl sighs ."My name is Shauna ."

"Hey Shauna， my name is Celeste prior ." I smile at her

"Of course we know who are you.'I was even wandering why were you in love with max the first place." Shauna rolls her eyes

I shrug. I don't know . Maybe he is gentle and handsome .

"He is nice though even we broke up. He is still a good leader." I choke on the word

"Don't cry Celeste . You can find a better one ." Uriah wraps his arm around me ."Trust me， you can find someone good."

"Okay， thank Uriah ." I smile at him

I knew his brother who became the dauntless members with my sister .

"Did you know tris?" I ask

"Yes she is amazing. She and my brother's best friend four are dating." Uriah giggles .

"Oh my sister is dating." I hum a little

After lunch， we sit in the cafeteria to wait for the test to begin. Along the corridor there are ten rooms . However I have never been in one before because they are only using for the aptitude test.

I watch around for other factions . Dauntless are usually loud and the students are all playing card games . Erudite are reading books and chatting about something， in the constant pursue of knowledge . Candor are debating about something. Amity are sitting in a circle to play some hand clapping game

Only abnegation are sitting quietly around the table . My best friend Robert is beside me

"Hey Celeste， are you okay?" Robert smiles at me

"I am fine Robert. Thanks for asking." I bite my lips.

"You look so pale ." Sally nudges me with her elbow ."I saw you were talking to max. What happens?"

I don't know how sally knows about me and max .

"We broke up." I shrug."Never mine ."

Then an abnegation volunteer comes out and starts calling names . Two from erudite， two from dauntless， two from Candor and amity， then abnegation.

"Sally rose and Celeste prior ."

I stand up and Robert squeezes my hand . I give him a sad smile . I follow sally into the corridor . Most of the administrators are abnegation but there will be a dauntless and erudite in two rooms .

I wish that I can be administered by my sister which will make me much safer . I stand in front of room 5 and sally in front of room 6.

The door slowly opens and I walk in.'my sister is cleaning up the machine and the electrode . When the door closes， I want to run toward her and hugs her

"My name is tris . I am your administrator today." She says coldly."Sits down and gets comfortable."

Why is she doing that to me ? Does she really believe in faction before blood? Does she really believes that she isn't my sister anymore ?

I sit down on the chair and she comes closer . I can see three birds tattooed on her collar bone and a dauntless flame on her shoulder

"Are they raven?" I ask

"Yeah， it representing something ." Tris sighs ."The reason I can't call you sister because if they know our relationship， they will suspect your test result."

I know that she must still care about me . She is protecting me . She brushes my hair carefully and gives me a cup of liquid .

"What is it? What will happen to me?" I am curious

"Drink this ." Tris says confidently

I have to drink this . I know that I have to. I tip all the liquid into my mouth and swallow it. Everything are gone

When I wake up， I am in the cafeteria . Everything are gone and outside is snowing right now . Then something appears in front of me : two plates with a knife and a hunk of cheese .

"Choose." A woman's voice appears .

"Why? What am I going to do with them?" I am shivering

"Choose!" She yells

I turn around and no one has come in and I turn back. The plate disappeared

"Have it your own way ."she says

The door behind me squeaks and opens . I turn around to see who is it. I see a what instead of who. It is a black dog with black fur . I finally understand why the knife will be handy or the cheese but it is too late now

In my biology text book it said that dog can prey secreted that human gland released in the state of duress . If looking into the eyes is a sign of aggression， then what is the sign of submission?

I slowly lower my body and then move away from the dog. I hope the dog is not going to attack me . After a minute， I feel something is licking me and I lift my head . The dog sitting in front of me and it sticks it's tongue out .

"You aren't a scary beast. Aren't you?" I finally feel relief that I didn't pick up the knife

Then a little girl with white dress appears behind the dog. She stretches out her arms

"Little puppy."

I want to warn her but it is too late . The dog turns and start running toward her . I stand up and running after the dog without hesitation and throw myself on the dog.

I wander did my sister done that or not? She must have chosen the knife otherwise she will not get a dauntless result. The dog disappeared and I am again in the testing room.

I look around and can't see my own reflection. I walk to the door and open it. I am on a bus instead in the corridor . All the seat are taken so I have to stand beside a seat. I am standing right beside the Candor man.

Candor man wears black and white suit because their faction values honesty above anything else so that's what they wear .

"Do you know this man?" He asks me

I lower my head and see that he is reading his newspaper . The title reads: " the brutal murder finally apprehended ."

Even there aren't any murder in our city since the faction system was formed , the word still let me feel dread . I look at the photo. I think that I may know the man but I feel that if I tell him the truth , something is going to happen.

I shrug my shoulder

"Do you know him?" He raises his eyebrows

Candor are able to see that you are lying or not so I have to calm myself down

"No I don't know him."
