-After I finished writing season nine in March, I spent the next three months doing nothing but rewriting and editing every episode. I had ideas for episodes beyond season nine, but no time to actually turn them into scripts. My plans were on a grander scale for the standalone episodes this year. I wanted to have multiple Halloween episodes, a Thanksgiving episode, and a New Year's episode. At one point, I even started work on another Christmas episode. The plan was to write these episodes during the summer and then roll them out when it was time. I also didn't want too much time to pass before I started writing season ten, especially since season nine took so long to make. The plan was to start writing season ten in August.

-This summer, things fell apart in terms of what I was planning. Personal issues got in the way and killed my motivation for writing, but I still tried to get some episodes off the ground. Nothing panned out, and I got very close to finishing a Halloween episode, but I didn't think it had the effort put into it to release it this year. I'm going to see if I can release it next year, along with some of the other Halloween episodes I had set up. I was excited to return to the Halloween episodes this year, but I guess 2024 will be the better time for them.

-As far as season ten goes, I started writing the first episode in October, but it was only worked on that one day and I haven't returned to it since. I want to start getting some real work done on season ten in December since I'm starting later than I was supposed to, and hopefully, by February, I have about half the season ready to go. I have more than enough ideas and I have a clear vision for the first couple episodes, but I know how things change when the actual writing begins, so it should be fun to see where that takes me. Season ten is going to come out next summer. At one point, I figured it would be ready for the spring of 2024 (March or April), but I realized that I needed as much time as possible to do the rewriting and editing, which is honestly half the work. And unlike season nine, I don't have all the episodes planned out. For all I know, I might come up with new episode ideas that replace the ones I already have.

-I want to write at least one more standalone episode before season ten is released. I know what kind of episode I want to make, but I'm not saying anything until it actually comes out because I could end up changing my mind or the episode might not get written at all. The idea is that it comes out next year.

-Season ten is still set to have 15 episodes like season nine did, but depending on how things go, there's potential for more episodes. I highly doubt I'm going to get to 20 episodes, but it's possible I could have 18.
