Chapter 8: More Than Meets the Eye
Russell was looking at Crown City with the binoculars "My old friends" he muttered as he zooms his binoculars towards the amusement park.
"Fun...excitement...so close," he said as he looks away from the binoculars "And yet so far" he finished. Then Russell turned his attention to Fixit as he spoke "You know what I did for fun when I was the only conscious bot on the prison ship?" Fixit asked as he smiled and had his arms out "Nothing, and lots of it." he answered as Russell sighed and climbed from where he was looking through the binoculars "That...really didn't help did it?" Fixit said as he saw the loneliness in Russell's face.
Denny came as he was wiping his hands off with a towel as Russell is finally down. "I have a cure for boredom," Denny said as Russell turned his attention to his father "There's a football field down the road where the neighborhood kids play" Denny explained as he pointed his thumb to the direction of the football field.
"Why don't you check it out?" he asked "uh sorry, Dad, uh no helmet" Russell said as he pointed his head and tried to make an excuse. Denny puts his finger on his lip to think "Hmm" he muttered and then he grin.
At the diner...
Denny places an old football helmet on Russell's head "This thing's a hundred years old" Russell said as this is a leather football helmet made in the 1940s "I know right?" Denny exclaimed as he is being optimistic "It belongs to Bronco Kowalski, the Poughkeepsie pile driver" Denny exclaimed. "Wow," Fixit said as he sniffed the helmet "It has a very uh...interesting odor," he said as he wheeled away as Russell is not interested in the helmet and crossed his arms.
Denny kneels down to Russell's level and put his arm around Russell's shoulder as he extends his hand out "You are going to rule the turf" Denny said, "rule it or eat it?" Russell muttered.
At the golf course...
A groundskeeper picks some grass as he tastes it "Hmm? Nitrate levels perfect. A masterpiece! No, no, no, no, no, a Grass-terpiece!" the groundskeeper exclaimed as he drove off in his golf cart. When he was gone, a mysterious car emerged from the water and transformed into a humanoid lobster mech as he is a Decepticon.
"Yes, 3 bodies of water crossed in 12 nano cycles this planet's no match for..." the lobster-bot exclaimed as he was cut off by the sound of an engine running as the view showed Hivemus Prime, Prowl, Sideswipe, Strongarm, and Misfire as they all transformed into their robot modes except Misfire, who is in his Dino mode.
Misfire charges at the lobster-bot as the lobster-bot blasts at Misfire with his mouth as it sent Misfire flying. Sideswipe saw Misfire falling towards him as he tried to get out of the way, but Misfire landed on him. Misfire got up and off of Sideswipe. The lobster-bot cheered "5 more Autobot takedowns and I will own the record" he said as Strongarm points her Decepticon hunter at him, Prowl and Hivemus hold him at gunpoint along.
"Hate to ruin your day, Bisk. But that one you just threw is actually a Dinobot and also a Decepticon" Hivemus said as the lobster-bot's name is Bisk. "Fine, I can still tie the record," Bisk said as he blasts at Hivemus as Prowl and the recruits began firing.
Then Bisk moved his blasting mouth towards them as Prowl leaps over it and the blast knocks the recruits, Sideswipe rushed to help then he stopped as Bisk blasted at him as Sideswipe dodges and the blast hits some trees. Sideswipe jumps towards Bisk and pulls out his Decepticon hunter as he strikes at Bisk.
Bisk blocks his strike as Prowl joins in as he kicks Bisk then Misfire swings his tail at Bisk as it hits him in the face. "Double defense mode" Bisk shouted as he knocks Sideswipe off "I am a master at this" he said as Sideswipe, Prowl, and Misfire kept fighting as Hivemus and the rest of the recruits recovered from the blast "I helped save the universe from Starscream, Megatron, the Dark Energon even Doomsayer. I refuse to become the laughingstock of some bug-eyed bots gaming club" Hivemus said as he and the rest of the recruits got on their peds.
Hivemus contacts Sideswipe with his commlink "Sideswipe, cascade with Strongarm and me. Prowl, surprise attack. Grimlock, splashdown maneuver. Go!" he ordered as they went into action as Bisk's eyes moved. Hivemus uses his double-barrel blasters and Strongarm uses her hand blaster as Bisk blocks the blasts. Then Sideswipe jumped toward Bisk and hits him in the face with his ped. He lands on the ground as Bisk tries to stomp on Sideswipe as he dodges.
"You think I don't know how to beat this attack? It's up-up-left-down-claw-claw" Bisk said as Prowl does his surprise attack by throwing his two signature shuriken as they hit at Bisk's back. "Aaaaaah!" Bisk screamed in pain as Prowl yanked them out then Bisk turned his eyes at Misfire charges and jumps "Cannonball!" he yelled as he forms his body a cannonball and slammed at Bisk making the lobster-bot lose consciousness.
"You are so under arrest," Strongarm said, "You said it cadet" Prowl added "Score one more for us," Hivemus Prime said "Let's get him into a stasis cell" as they all carried the unconscious Bisk and took him to the scrapyard. The groundskeeper came back and became shocked by the damage that Bisk and the Autobots cause "My grass-terpiece" he sobbed as he is down on his knees.
At the football field...
Russell was hiding behind the goal as he watches the other kids play as the view shows kids getting ready to play all of them are boys except one is a girl. She has olive green, fair skin, light brown hair, a grayish green helmet with black goggles, a yellow shirt with white sleeves, an orange vest, green pants, white socks, and light brown boots, "Hut" she said as they began.
She holds the ball as the boys tried to tackle her, but she dodges and throws the ball. A boy tries to catch it. He has tan skin, dark brown hair, eye, and a white shirt with blue trims and a blue zero on it. The ball makes it to the goal where Russell is out of hiding, the kids turned their attention to Russell "Hey kid" the boy called then Russell points to himself as he picks it up and walks as the boy joins him "Yeah, we're a player short" he said "Hey, don't you live in the junkyard?" he asked as Russell looks at the expressions on the other boys as Russell feels uncomfortable "Uh-actually, it's more of a Vintage Depot for the-uh" Russell stammered "What's with the hat?" the girl asked as she puts her hand on her chin and takes a closer look.
"Looks like it could have belonged to Bronco Kowalski" she explained as she puts her hands on her hips "Uh, actually it did," Russell said as he hands the football to the girl "That's retro brilliant! I'm Hank," the girl said "I'm Russell," he said as the boy goes next to him and talks to Russell's ear "Her real name's Henrietta," the boy said as Hank/Henrietta hands the ball to the boy poking him in the belly in the process as he yelped.
"This is Butch," Hank said "His real name is Cynthia" she sarcastically said as she puts her hands on Butch's and Russell's shoulders "Listen up, ruby chicken nasty fungus on a hut, break," she said as Butch runs and pushes Russell. Russell faces a boy with blonde hair wearing a modern football helmet, blue eyes, a blue shirt with red trims, and white long sleeves. The boy smiles as Russell feels uncomfortable "Uh, what exactly does that-" Russell asked but Hank wasn't paying attention to Russell "Beagle cheeseburger nut" Hank cried as the boy hands her the ball.
The blonde shoves Russell as he falls to the ground, Hank throws it but the blonde boy blocks it as the ball hits his helmet instead as the boys cheered and Hank just puts her hands on her hips.
Russell turns over as he is now on his back with grass in his mouth as he spits it out and sits up "Good block, Rusty" Hank said as she had her hand out to offer Russell to pull him up, but Russell didn't offer Hank's help as he stands up himself.
Then Russell took off his helmet "Oh, I knew this was a mistake" he said as he threw his helmet to the ground and leaves the field, Hank knows Russell is upset about his first day.
Back at the scrapyard...
Bisk was in his stasis cell as Misfire tells Fixit, Denny, and the rest of the recruits about him taking down Bisk "Whoo! And Bisk is tossing us around with his giant claws I mean whoosh!
Whoosh! So I nailed him with the Dino Demolisher! POW! Hehehe, it was epic" Misfire explained "Sounds exciting I think hearing about what all of you do is the most filling-billing-thrilling part of what I do," Fixit said as he sighs "Gosh, I'd love to get out in the field-in a strictly non-confrontational capacity, of course," Fixit added.
Strongarm had her holographic rulebook as she reads one of the "Rule 6-6-9 dash B, Minicons must remain at their duty stations at all times" she explained as Sideswipe turns to Fixit "Doesn't seem like you were built for the tough stuff anyway" Sideswipe added as Impactra elbowed him "Ow, I didn't mean all Minicons specifically" he said.
"Strongarm is half correct," Prowl said "I'm half correct?" she replied "Yes because not all Minicons remain here at their duty stations. I see a lot of Minicons in action, the most popular Minicons in action are Soundwave's Minicons. Rumble does earthquakes, Frenzy shoots down any enemies that are twice his size, Ravage also got me down, Lazerbeak shoots down a group of Autobots by surprise and so does Buzzsaw, and Ratbat can find a group of Autobots hiding by using her echolocation." Prowl explained as Strongarm is surprised.
"Really?" she exclaimed as Prowl nodded "Really" he replied "What do the rest of Soundwave's Minicons?" Rotorstorm asked "During the war at the Exodus, Ravage joined Shadowstriker's team, Ratbat joined Flamewar, Buzzsaw joined Soundblaster and his mercenary group, Rumble and Frenzy joined the Constructicons, and Lazerbeak remained behind with Soundwave" Hivemus explained. "Then after the war, Ravage lives with me, conjunx-enduras, and my children, Rumble and Frenzy came to Soundwave as Rumble still remained partners with the Constructicons and Frenzy became partners with Barricade and Lazerbeak still remained with Soundwave. I haven't heard a word from Buzzsaw and Ratbat, so I assumed they still remained partners with the Mercenaries and Flamewar" Prowl explained.
Fixit sadly sighs and looks at the ground "Look that's not to say you don't play a key role on our team" Hivemus Prime said, "Just not as key as lead tailpipe kicker am I right?" Misfire said as Prowl elbowed him "Ow" Misfire yelped "Like Prowl said Minicons can be in action too because we had seen Minicons in action both Autobot and Decepticon" Hivemus Prime said.
"Well, excuse me, and thanks for comforting me," Fixit said as he wheeled away "How'd it go?" Denny asked "They've all been playing together a really long time" Russell replied as a ringing is heard "Rusty" Hank called "Where are you?" she asked "Rusty?" Denny exclaimed when he heard about the nickname he usually called him. "Oh no," Russell said "Camo" Hivemus ordered.
Sideswipe jumps over a shelf to hide Jake, Strongarm, Impactra, and Prowl transformed into their vehicle modes as Misfire rides on Strongarm's back, Pyrostorm rides on Jake's, and Rotorstorm rides on Impactra's as they drove out to hide. Hivemus Prime transform into his vehicle mode and drove in reverse leaving a smokescreen of dust as Hank arrived on her bike with her goggles "Rusty?" she called as she stopped and waves the smokescreen dust away and takes her goggles off.
She sees Denny and Russell standing there with Hivemus Prime in his vehicle mode behind them "Wow" she said when she saw Hivemus' vehicle mode "Griffin motors 1995 wind blazer, nice" she explained complementing Hivemus' vehicle mode. Hivemus turns his side view mirrors to look at Hank "Actually that-" Denny corrected as Hank interrupted as she approaches Russell "You ran off after one play" Hank replied "I ate five pounds of grass" Russell retorted "So practice in the morning, a game in the afternoon" Hank explained as she hands over Russell's helmet that she carried from her sidecar "See you tomorrow" Hank said as she rides her bike and leaves the scrapyard "So can I call you "Rusty" now" Denny asked "No" Russell replied.
At the airbase...
It was nighttime, a mysterious Cybertronian arrived, he has a pink/salmon and reddish purple color scheme and four yellow optics as he grinned.
At the scrapyard...
The holoscreen showed the Decepticon insignia on it as it was beeping "Decepticon" Fixit said as he turned his attention to the Autobots "a few miles away" he said as Hivemus turned his attention to the rest of the team "Let's roll out" he said.
Far away from the airbase...
Hivemus, Prowl, Sideswipe, Strongarm, Misfire, and Pyrostorm were looking at the airbase as they were far from it. "Sideswipe, Strongarm, Prowl, let's move in for a closer look...vehicle mode," he said as the four transformed "What about us?" Misfire asked as Sideswipe turned his side view mirror "You're a little too dinosaur and dragon for sneaking around, big guy" Sideswipe answered "Hang back, secure the perimeter" he ordered "What's perimeter?" Misfire asked scratching his helm.
While driving their way into the airbase, Hivemus orders his teammates "Split up if you spot the fugitive, comm the rest of the team immediately" he said as Prowl, Sideswipe, and Strongarm went in line behind Hivemus as they entered Sideswipe went to the left, Strongarm went to the right, and Prowl stayed with Hivemus at the middle as Hivemus goes right and Prowl goes left.
When Hivemus passes an opened warehouse, he stopped as he turned his side view mirror and noticed that the lights in the open warehouse are on, he drives in reverse and saw the Decepticon "Where are you, ye' stinking-" Decepticon said who spoke in a cockney accent as he pulled an aircraft gyroscope "There you are, you little beauty" he said as lights flashed on his face as he stands up as his body showed to have spider-like features.
Hivemus turns his headlights off and transforms into robot mode "Play time's over" Hivemus said with his double-barrel blaster out as the Decepticon gently puts the aircraft gyroscope down "Do you really think you can take us all on, copper?" he asked with his servo on his hip.
"I know I can take you, Decepticon," Hivemus said and then he realized what the Decepticon said "Wait did you say us?" he said as the Decepticon grinned as his body split apart into five spiders. They attacked and stung Hivemus, Hivemus struggled to get them off "Come one," he said as their sting began to tickle. Prowl, Sideswipe, and Strongarm arrived as they transformed into their robot modes and pulled out their weapons "Having a little trouble boss?" Sideswipe asked as he activate his face mask "See how funny it is after they sting you" Hivemus replied as they continued to sting him.
Three of them jumped onto Prowl, Sideswipe, and Strongarm as they sting them, Hivemus struggles to get the spider component off of him as he grabbed him while he is still stinging. Then Misfire crashed through the wall with Pyrostorm by his side "Oh yeah!" Misfire shouted then a spider component hopped onto his face and sting him.
As the main component of Chop Shop laughed "Oi bring it in" he ordered as the rest of the components stopped stinging the Autobots and followed him as he carries the aircraft gyroscope. Pyrostorm quickly blocked their path and roared at them "Take him down" the main Chop Shop component ordered as they were about to sting Pyrostorm, but the Autobot-Predacon hybrid predict this as he lit himself on fire as the Chop Shop components back away in horror.
"Still think you can take me down?" Pyrostorm asked "Change of plans, let's get out of here!" the main Chop Shop component shouted as they walked around him and heading towards the hatch that was open, it was how he/they got in the airbase as Pyrostorm tried to grabbed them with his jaws but missed.
"Down the hatch," the component said as he was the last one to enter as he dives down and Hivemus tried to catch him but missed him as Hivemus watches them leave "Scrap" Hivemus muttered as Prowl, Strong, and Sideswipe came to Hivemus and Pyrostorm. "Who is this bot?" Hivemus exclaimed.
At the scrapyard...
Fixit searches for the Decepticon that they encountered and founds him "He's a combiner named Chop Shop, he's a one-man heist crew with a list of crimes as long as Alpha Trion's beard" Fixit explained "Have you seen that beard? It's more like a steel carpet actually" Fixit said as he got a little off topic "The way he-" then Hivemus Prime interrupted.
"Chop Shop's a thief up to his old tricks on Earth" Hivemus exclaimed "I smacked wax-hacked him to the local law enforcement database and found a list of properties stolen within appropriate database radius" Fixit added as he pulled out the list that Chop Shop has stolen "At first there didn't seem to be a pattern you know copper wire, kerosene, space heater insulation, storage tanks, computer chips, and now an aircraft gyroscope. But taken together there's really only one thing Chop Shop would need all those parts for-" Fixit said as Hivemus answered "A spaceship"
"He wants off-planet," Strongarm said "Can't say I blame him" Sideswipe added "Chop Shop appears to have everything he needs except fuel" Fixit explained "A manufacturing plant in the next county synthesizes liquid oxygen," Denny said "Security's tight though too tight for oversized aliens to just walk up to" Denny explained "So we don't send in the aliens, Denny would you be up for-" Hivemus asked "Yes" Denny interrupted "Fixit, we might need you tech expertise too," he said.
"Me?" Fixit asked as he smiled when Hivemus offered him to join them on the field "You said you wanted to get out in the field" Hivemus said "Though it is against regulations" Strongarm said as Prowl looked at her with a serious face "Uh, which some regulations meant to be broken" she added when she saw Prowl's serious face. "Well, how dangerous are we talking about say from I don't know one to forty?" Fixit suggested, "If Chop Shop makes it off-planet who knows what trouble he could cause?" Hivemus said, "More trouble than I cause?" Sideswipe asked as they all looked at him with a 'seriously?' expression "What? Just asking" Sideswipe said.
Then Hivemus brings back the subject "He needs to be brought back to justice" he said as Fixit feels hesitant then he put his brave face on "I'll do it" Fixit said then Misfire transformed into his jet mode "Let's go bug hunting" he said to everyone's surprise Misfire had transformed into a Lockheed SR-71 "Blackbird" "Misfire? Since when did you scan an Earth-based vehicle mode?" Jake asked, "When Pyrostorm and I stormed towards the warehouse, I stopped by that jet I saw and scan it so I can fly in my jet mode." Misfire explained.
"That's good, but throttle down Misfire, you're staying here you may have scanned an Earth-based vehicle mode, but that jet you scanned is a military jet, so you be too conspicuous in both jet mode and Dino mode" Hivemus Prime explained "But-but, Fixit doesn't have a vehicle mode" Misfire protested "He's not gonna need one," Denny said as he turned his attention at Fixit.
At the fuel plant...
Chop Shop's components came out of the hatch as they act like a bot ladder with climbing on the other "Fill her up boys" the main component said after they reached the top. "Get that liquid oxygen pumping," he said as the view showed the truck that hauls the liquid oxygen.
At the scrapyard...
Misfire is in his Dino mode as he is stacking old cars to form a tower or pyramid, he hears Russell sigh and turns his attention to the boy as the cars lose their hold and fall. "Where is everyone?" Russell asked "Off on a mission" Misfire answered "How was football practice?" he asked "Well, today I played a position called way back" Russell answered as he sighed "I'm gonna quit," he said "No you can't just quit, the football team is counting on you," Jake said "Rusty!" Hank shouted "It's Hank, hide," Russell said as Jake and Impactra transformed into their vehicle modes and drove off to hide as Rotorstorm transformed into her vehicle mode, but without flying and Misfire remained still to pretend to be a statue along with Pyrostorm.
Hank arrives on her bike and stops "Good practice this morning" she complemented "Hank, I know the team was making fun of me" Russell said, "Ah, everyone plays way back once, it's a rule" she explained, "Don't worry, you just gotta find your place on the team" she reassured him "Hey nice dinosaur statue and a helicopter and dragon statue" Hank said as she noticed Misfire, Rotorstorm, and Pyrostorm "See you at the game later, we need you" she said as she leaves.
Misfire moves as his helm is next to Russell "I like her" he said "Me too," Rotorstorm agreed "Me three" Pyrostorm added as Russell sighed.
Meanwhile...
Strongarm was driving in her vehicle mode along with Prowl behind her as they both received a comm call from Hivemus "Sideswipe and I are in low-profile spots outside the plant, Strongarm, and Prowl. We'll move in for the collar as soon as you two flush out Chop Shop" he instructed "Copy that. I will not forget to flush" she replied "Yeah, don't forget to use toilet paper wipe off before flushing" Prowl joked as they reached to the gate as the security guard is there, Denny and Fixit are inside of Strongarm as the guard look at him. Denny is wearing a blue-gray jacket with gold trims on the sleeves and black sunglasses.
"We're with the hazardous utility bureau," Denny said as he showed the guard with a fake badge "Question 1: do you always take this long to open the gate during surprise inspections?" Denny asked as the guard give Denny a tip of the hat as he goes to the controls and Strongarm puts her window up.
Denny looks at Fixit, who is wearing a light brown jacket with red-framed glasses, and a dark brown fedora as he smiled as the guard lets them in as they entered.
At the scrapyard...
Russell was sitting on the hood of an old car looking at his helmet as Misfire, Impactra, Rotorstorm, Pyrostorm, and Jake came as they saw Russell how insecure he is "Aren't you gonna be late?" Misfire asked as Russell gets off "What's the point? I stink like Bronco Kowalski's helmet" Russell said as he drops his helmet.
"So you're still gonna quit are you?" Jake asked rhetorically "You heard what Hank said the team needs you," Misfire said "No they don't," Russell said, "Rusty...is it okay if I call you that?" Impactra asked "Sure whatever" Russell replied "Okay...Rusty, if you quit you'll regret it" Impactra said "Hank wants you there she said so" Misfire added, "There must be something you do to help?" Misfire suggested "Yeah, maybe we can help you what you're good that makes you part of the team" Rotorstorm added.
"There's nothing" Russell shouted as he kicked his helmet to their surprise they watched how far the helmet went "Whoa," they said in unison as Rotorstorm looked at Russell with a smile "Looks you found what you're good at," she said.
At the fuel plant...
Prowl and Strongarm are driving with Denny and Fixit "Field Work is fun! Let's find more humans to fool" the exciting Fixit said then Strongarm hits the brakes as Prowl does too when they saw Chop Shop's components filling up the liquid oxygen inside the truck "Contact" Strongarm said "Hivemus, we found Chop Shop and they're loading the liquid oxygen inside the truck" Prowl said "Copy that we're on our way, try to stop them" Hivemus said as the component saw Strongarm and Prowl "We been made, bug out" he ordered as one of them stopped the liquid oxygen from loading the truck as the other unattached the hose, the third is on top of the truck and gestures the fourth one in the truck to drive as he complies.
Strongarm transforms into her robot mode causing Denny and Fixit to fall out "Chop Shop is making a run for it" Strongarm said as she pins one of the components down. The other components were transformed and combined into the single Chop Shop as he was waiting for his right arm to combine, he noticed that Strongarm is still pinning his component, Righty.
"Why you no good widget what am I supposed to do now?" he said to himself as he turned around and saw Denny and Fixit, who is out of his disguise. The frightened Fixit puts his jacket in front of him as Chop Shop approached him. Chop Shop grabs Fixit as he was about to put him on his body as a replacement as Prowl in his robot mode grabbed him by the wrist to prevent him from putting Fixit on his body.
"Hey" Fixit yelped as Prowl struggled to hold his grip on Chop Shop as the Decepticon headbutts him causing him to let go and fell to the ground "Prowl! Fixit!" Denny shouted "No, no, no" Fixit cried as Chop Shop finally attaches him to his body with the right arm. Strongarm turned her helm and saw Fixit as Chop Shop's right arm "Oh, scrud" she muttered.
"No, I'm not even supposed to be here" Fixit panicked as he doesn't want to be Chop Shop's right arm "Hang on Fixit!" Strongarm cried as Chop Shop uses Fixit to punch Strongarm as it sends her flying and slamming onto the ground.
"That's gonna leave a mark" Fixit muttered "Righty, take the wheel" Chop Shop ordered as Righty entered the truck and drove as Chop Shop jumps on board using Fixit to hold on. Righty chuckled mischievously as he was about to run over Strongarm, but she dodged as the truck passed by "The suspect has Fixit, uh make that Fixit is now partly the suspect" Strongarm said as Prowl approaches "They're coming your way, Hivemus" Strongarm said when Hivemus and Sideswipe were on their way to where the truck is heading as Sideswipe and Hivemus quickly got out of the way as the truck passes.
Chop Shop grins as the four Autobots chase Chop Shop along with Denny inside of Strongarm "Sideswipe, Strongarm gets Chop Shop's left flank, we'll try a pincer maneuver" Hivemus ordered as they did the gas pedal more "I wasn't built for this!" Fixit yelled as Chop Shop turns around and kicks Sideswipe causing him to got toward Strongarm as she quickly drives around him "You okay, kid?" Prowl asked "I'm fine, just keeping going. I'll catch up" Sideswipe replied as he is back on track.
Chop Shop lifts Fixit up as they were heading towards the bridge as Fixit shields himself and destroys the bridge. The Autobots tried to stop as quickly as they can but they end up under the bridge as they are buried under the debris. Hivemus, Sideswipe, and Prowl uncovered themselves off the debris as they removed the debris off of Strongarm. "Can't win them all" Sideswipe muttered "Is everyone all right?" Prowl asked "I'm okay, Prowl" Hivemus replied "I'm good" Sideswipe added "I'm fine, but Fixit isn't" Denny said.
"We haven't lost yet," Strongarm said "First rule of perp identification memorizes your suspect's tire tracks," Strongarm said as her headlights turned blue as it show the tire tracks of the truck that Chop Shop is on. The tracks lead them to an old building Strongarm lets Denny out as the four of them transformed into robot mode "Trail leads inside, sir" Strongarm said "Denny, stay back" Hivemus ordered "If you say so" Denny replied.
"Keep your optics open, we're on Chop Shop's turf now," he said as they approached the building as they saw the truck, Righty, and the ship that Chop Shop build. "Sweet ride," Sideswipe said "Okay, not so much as turf as his mission control" Hivemus exclaimed. They turned around and saw Chop Shop approaching them "You don't want us on this rock and we don't want to be here. So what's the glitch, coppers?" Chop Shop explained as he was about to slam them "Oh, mayday!" Fixit cried as they dodged. Then Chop Shop kicks Prowl and Sideswipe and hits Hivemus and Strongarm as they slammed into the wall.
They got up on their peds as Strongarm pulls out her handgun blaster and was ready to fire "Don't shoot, you could ignite the rocket fuel" Hivemus explained as he warned Strongarm what would happen if she missed "And you might hit me" Fixit added as Sideswipe runs and jumps onto a metal pipe of the top corner and jumps towards Chop Shop. Chop Shop has Fixit grab the blade of Sideswipe's Decepticon hunter and flips him over as his body slammed to a metal pole and lands on the ground "Sorry Sideswipe" Fixit said as Strongarm jumps and has her ped ready to slam Chop Shop, but he uses Fixit to punch Strongarm as she falls and lands on the ground.
Fixit had stopped spinning "I'm sure that would heal, Strongarm," he said. Hivemus came to Strongarm's side as he turned to Fixit "Fixit fight back" he ordered "I can't" Fixit said as Chop Shop's component came and combined with Chop Shop's left arm. He punches Hivemus and kicks him as Chop Shop approaches him and grabs Hivemus by the face and stings him. Righty chuckles with delight as he watches Chop Shop and is unaware that Denny is behind with a metal pipe as Chop Shop drops him and Denny hits him Righty turns around and chuckles as he crawls towards Denny.
Denny drops the pipe and chuckles nervously and runs away as Righty chases him. Hivemus groans from the sting as Chop Shop pins him down with his ped "We're never going back in no cage" Chop Shop exclaimed "Fixit, the team needs you" Hivemus cried as Fixit watches Strongarm recovering then turns to Sideswipe as he recovers with Prowl by his side. Chop Shop was about to use Fixit to make a blow on Hivemus as he closes his optics for the blow. But then, he noticed that Fixit is resisting Chop Shop from doing the blow "You work for me, pally" Chop Shop said "I-" Fixit said as he punches Chop Shop "work...for my team!" he shouted as he continues to punch Chop Shop "Why are you hitting yourself? Huh, why are you hitting yourself?" Fixit taunted as he continues to hit Chop Shop in the face as he lands on the ground "Get off, you skid" Chop Shop said as he unattached Fixit from his body.
Fixit sighed with relief as he is finally free "You can handle the fieldwork from here right?" he exclaimed "We'll manage, thanks Fixit" Hivemus said as he punches Chop Shop as he crashes into the truck as Righty flees and the liquid oxygen freezes Chop Shop.
At the scrapyard...
It was dawn as Fixit tell Misfire and the rest of the recruits what happened "Wait, wait, wait, you did what!?" he exclaimed with disbelief that Fixit took down Chop Shop as the Autobots apprehended him as the view showed Chop Shop in his stasis pod "Yeah that's right punch Chop Shop" Fixit replied. "A couple of times know pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow," Fixit said as Sideswipe lightly kicks him "It was epic! I mean it doesn't need to be repeated but it was epic!" he exclaimed.
"If it wasn't for Fixit, we would never capture Chop Shop" Hivemus added "Guess you can't spell team without an f and uh-um, is it on x or two?" Misfire said "Oh that reminds me there's someplace we have to be" Misfire said.
Sideswipe was watching through the binoculars as Russell is playing with the kids "Oh give it come one, it's my turn" Strongarm demanded as she tries to reach for the binoculars as Sideswipe holding them up high to prevent Strongarm from reaching "It's not" Sideswipe retorted "Uh crunch time" Misfire called pointing at the football field.
At the football field...
Russell, Hank, and Butch huddle up "Let's play the game down by two, any ideas?" Hank asked "I have one" Russell replied. Then Butch has the ball ready "Hut" Russell called as Butch passes the ball to Hank as she hands it to Russell as she faces the blonde boy and the African-Amercian boy, Hank makes chicken noises and acts like one as the two boys are confused with Hank's behavior.
Russell drops the ball down and kicks it as it went over the goal "Yeah!" Butch cheered as Denny, Hivemus, Prowl, Misfire, and the recruits cheered too. Hank cheers and jumps as she and Russell high-fived and walked off the field together "Hey are you gonna go to basketball?" she asked as Russell feel unsure but smiled and decides to give it a try. "Rusty, that's my boy!" Denny shouted.
