Hello Ranger Fans! It's been a while, but I hope you enjoy the Part 2 of Act 2!
*Outside of the Shrine, 1:23 P.M.*
Gara stops running as she makes it to the outside of the shrine. She looks around to see if there were Caeltermare. As if to stop her from being relieved, a large group of Nympha Pedes appeared behind Gara, who turns to see the Pedes being led by Camelus Sana.
"Hello, Princess Gara," Sana greeted.
"I remember you. You were the Caeltermare who went down easily," Gara said, which irked Sana. "You think I'm scared of you?"
"I'm different than I was before! Pedes, get her!" Sana ordered, as Pedes began attacking Gara who began to fight back, both with her martial arts and Andresian powers.
But after a while when Gara tried to attempt to use her powers again, they failed.
"What?" Gara said in shock, as a Pede kicked Gara to the stairs.
"Like I said, I'm different than before. With your time short, I'll be easy to capture you and use your power to destroy this world," Sana said in delight.
"I don't think so!" A voice exclaimed, as Troy did a flying front kick towards Sana's chest, which had the Camel Caeltermare stumble a bit. Troy lands on his feet as the other four teenagers arrived to protect Gara.
"You five…" Gara said.
"Are you okay?" Emma asked, and Gara nodded yes. "You might want to step aside."
"But…" Gara said, but Emma gave Gara her signature thumbs up.
"I'll be alright!" Emma reassured Gara, as she made it back to her team.
"Good, now I'll be able to destroy the Rangers!" Sana exclaimed.
"You're in for a big disappointment," Troy said.
The five teenagers flipped open their Legacy Morphers and unfolded their Ranger Keys.
"Go, Go, Megaforce!"
The teenagers inserted their respective Ranger Keys into the keyhole of their Legacy Morphers and turned them, which had the top to open, revealing a skull and crossbones design, with the skull being the Ranger Key, and the crossbones being swords. The five teenagers morphed into the Megaforce Power Rangers.
"Fury of the Dragon, Megaforce Red!" Troy cried out.
Bite of the Shark, Megaforce Blue!" Noah cried out.
"Claw of the Tiger, Megaforce Yellow!" Gia cried out.
"Venom of the Snake, Megaforce Black!" Jake cried out.
"Flames of the Phoenix, Megaforce Pink!" Emma cried out.
"Earth's Defenders... Never surrender! Power Rangers...!"
The five posed, finishing their roll call.
"Megaforce!'
"I know who you guys are. No need to tell me every time! Attack!" Sana exclaimed, as the Pedes charged at the Rangers, who charged at the Pedes as well, beginning the fight.
Troy leaped on one Pede before striking down lots of them with his Mega Saber.
Noah slid down a silver handrail on his back, while doing some parkour, and shoots down a bunch of Pedes with his Shark Bowgun.
Emma jumps from a ledge to have her right knee land on a Pede, sending it falling to the ground. Emma jumped and blasted the remaining Pedes with her Phoenix Shot.
Gara was analyzing the fight and couldn't help but admire the Rangers' strength.
"They're good. Just like how the Andresians were 6000 years ago," Gara observed.
Gia jumps from on top of a roof shoots down some Pedes with her Mega Blaster, she lands on her feet, rolls on the ground, and blasts some more Pedes with her Mega Blaster, while striking down some with her Tiger Claw.
Jake uses his brute strength to thrash the Pedes, while using his Snake Axe. After a while, Jake throws his Snake Axe up in the sky.
"Call to the beast inside… Free the snake!" Jake cried, as his Snake Animal Spirit emerged behind him. Jake then jumped in the air and his Animal Spirit spat venom to power up Jake's Scissor Kick at the Pedes, called the Venom Clash, which destroyed the Pedes. As Jake landed on his feet and his Animal Spirit disappeared, Jake caught his Snake Axe from the air, as the team regrouped.
"You can do that! Amazing!" Emma exclaimed, referring to Jake's Venom Clash kick.
"Why didn't you tell us you could do that?" Troy asked.
"Well… I guess I forgot…" Jake said, embarrassed.
"You want to see something amazing that you won't forget?!" Sana asked, as he fired liquid-like energy balls at the Rangers, which did little to no effect on the Rangers, if you don't count their suits being soaked.
"Really? That's all you got?" Noah asked.
"Different battle, but the same losing battle," Gara commented. "His weakness is his ego."
"Then this will be easy!" Gia said.
"Let's go legendary to finish him off," Troy suggested, as he pressed the top button of his belt buckle, which revealed the Red Lightspeed Ranger, which he took out and unfolded.
"Sounds good," Jake nodded.
"Good call," Noah nodded.
"Alright," Emma nodded.
"Let's do it then," Gia nodded, as the entire team pressed the top buckles, which revealed the Lightspeed Rescue Ranger Keys of their color (or, Jake's case, color energy).
The four took out the Ranger Keys, unfolded them and opened their Legacy Morphers.
"Legendary Ranger Mode: Lightspeed Rescue!"
The Rangers morphed into the Lightspeed Rangers, which surprised Gara.
"They transformed… into another set of Rangers?" Gara observed in confusion, as the Rangers took out their V-Lancers.
"V-Lancers!"
The Rangers targeted their V-Lancers at Sana.
"Wait! Wait!" Sana exclaimed.
"Spectra Blast!"
The Rangers fired V-Lancers in the sky, creating a giant V, which dropped on Sana, who's as sent flying to the ground.
As Sana got up, a halo appeared above his head.
"Again? Again?!" Camelus Sana exclaimed as he then exploded.
"That was quick," Jake commented.
"That was, by far, the weakest Caeltermare we fought," Gia agreed.
"Consider that a warm-up then," A voice said, as Volucris Aquila's human form appeared before the Rangers, on top of the shrine.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Jake asked.
"This aura… You're Volucris Aquila, aren't you?" Gara asked, stepping forward.
Aquila smirked in response before he started floating in the air.
"Clever as always, Princess Gara. However, your cleverness won't save you," Aquila said, as he then transformed into his true Caeltermare form, which had the motif of an eagle. He had brown wings on his back, a brown body with brown feathers, yellow claws and feet, and a human-like face underneath the bird-like head, which had a yellow beak and black eyes, kind of like a mask. This was Volucris Aquila's true form (The design is an homage to Birdman Icarus, from Kamen Rider X).
"A bird?" Troy questioned.
"An eagle," Aquila corrected Troy. "Let's see if you can handle this next enemy."
Aquila fires feather-like darts at the six's feet, which soon flashed a bright light, nearly blinding them.
*Baseball Field, 1:30 P.M.*
The five Rangers and Gara collapsed onto the ground after the brightness died down a bit. The Rangers and Gara opened their eyes to observed their surroundings.
"Where are we now?" Gara asked.
"From the looks of it, we're at a baseball field," Noah observed.
"Out of all the places, why here?" Troy asked.
"Yeah. It's not like any one of us know how to play," Gia then turns to Jake. "Jake?"
"Don't look at me. I only know how to play soccer," Jake said.
"Then this will be a peace of cake," A voice echoed, as the Rangers turned to see a Caeltermare with the motif of mold step onto home base. He had a teal bulky body, noticeable on his chest, shoulders, arms, and legs, red eyes, and had a zombie-like appearance. This was the Mold Caeltermare, Fungus Mucor (The design is an homage to the Shocker monster, Moldinga).
"Okay. That is the definition of gross!" Emma commented.
"How dare you call me gross!" Mucor shouted, offended. "I am Fungus Mucor and my mold will cover your corpses! Here, have a taste!"
Mucor generated a mold-like substance, which he threw at the Rangers, which had sparks emerged from the ground, having the Rangers and Gara fall to the ground.
"Damn, this guy's a bit tougher than the last one," Noah said.
"Well, obviously," Gia cracks her neck. "I say we go Legendary again."
The Rangers pressed their top buttons of their belt buckles, which revealed their Mighty Morphin Ranger Keys, and they opened up their Legacy Morphers.
"Legendary Ranger Mode: Mighty Morphin! It's Morphin Time!"
The Rangers morphed into the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and posed.
"This time… it's dinosaurs?" Gara said in confusion.
"Those suits look outdated! I doubt they still work!" Mucor taunted the Rangers.
"Shall we test that then?" Troy asked, as he quickly took out his Blade Blaster and shot Mucor in the right arm.
"Hey! I wasn't ready yet!" Mucor exclaimed.
"Let's try and weaken him so he doesn't use his power on us. It could damage our suits. Troy, Gia, use your Power Weapons to get his attention. Jake, Emma, use that time to aim with your Power Axe and Power Bow. I'll finish it off with my Power Lance," Noah strategized to the team.
"That may just work," Troy said.
"But will it really?" Gara asked.
"It'll be alright!" Emma reassured Gara. "You've done this before haven't you? Why are you so worry?!"
Gara was hesitant to explain herself.
"Hey!" Mucor called out. "Are you going to fight me or not?!"
"Oh, we'll fight you alright. And we'll send you back to the swamp you came from!" Gia exclaimed, readying her Power Daggers, as Troy readies his Power Sword.
"But I'm not moss, I'm mold! Idiot! Mucor corrected Gia.
"Oh…" Gia said. "Let's go!"
"Right," Troy nodded, as the two charged at Mucor, who appeared scared.
"Wait! I was only kidding! Caeltermare can have a sense of humor too!" Mucor exclaimed, as he was then slashed by the two Rangers' respective Power Weapons. The impact of the attacks had Mucor roll on the ground.
"Well you're not funny, idiot!" Gia shot back, as she high-fives Troy.
"Nice!" Troy praised.
"Thanks," Gia said, as Mucor then got up.
"Damn you! I'm gonna..!" Mucor said, as he was cut off by two blasts hitting him in the back. Mucor turns to see Jake with his Power Axe, in its Cannon Mode, and Emma with her Power Bow. "No way!"
The two fired at Mucor again, spankings flying from his chest, which had some of the mold from his body come up.
After the impact of the blasts, Mucor turns to see Noah charging at him, before he delivers a strike with his Power Lance, which had all off the mold from the body fly off.
"My mold! My beautiful mold!" Mucor exclaimed, as the team recruited.
"That was a great plan Noah!" Troy turns to Noah.
"Thanks. Now let's finish this guy off and go after Aquila!" Noah said.
Watching the battle, Gara, was surprised on how the plan turned out.
"It went well. I can't believe it they used the strategy we used back then," Gara thought.
Mucor then starts laughing as he got up.
"I've seen that strategy before and I came prepared!" Mucor told the Rangers, mold beginning to generate on his body.
"What?!" Jake said in shock.
"Okay, the way that mold generated on your chest was just wrong!" Emma pointed out.
"Shut up! Stop pointing out the trivial things on my body!" Mucor shouted.
"Do you have a Plan B?" Troy asked.
"Thinking of one," Noah whispered. "Got any suggestions."
"Let's try Tower Formation. I don't think they had blasters 6,000 years ago," Troy suggested.
"Sounds like a plan," Noah nodded, as the Rangers stood in formation.
"What do you have now?!" Mucor asked.
"Tower Formation, now!" Troy exclaimed, as Gia and Emma jumped and landed on the shoulders of Troy, Noah, and Jake, creating a standing tower. The five pointed the tips of their Blade Blasters, as Mucor was unprepared what was about to happened next.
"I'm out of here!" Mucor said, as he ran to retreat.
"You're not getting away that easily!" Troy said. "Let's do it!"
"Power Up! Fire!"
The Rangers fired a pyramid shaped energy blast, which hit Fungus Mucor, who was knocked off onto his feet and onto the ground. The Rangers went out of Tower Formation to see if their attack worked.
"My mold will just grow right…!" Mucor said, as a halo appeared above his head. "Shit, I spoke too soon."
Fungus Mucor then collapsed onto the ground and exploded.
The Rangers demorphed from Legendary Ranger Mode.
"This is was this Volucris Aquila put us up against?" Jake asked, unimpressed.
"It was a bad call, I'll admit that," A voice called out and the Rangers turned to see Volucris Aquila, right arm around Gara's through.
"Gara!" Emma exclaimed.
"Don't take another step closer! Do that to be smart with me… I'll cut her throat and use her blood to extract the power from her veins, so I can use it to destroy your world," Aquila threatened Gara's life.
"You… You would kill someone who is already dead?!" Troy asked.
"Don't worry! He can't kill my spirit! I'm close to my limit too!" Gara explained, as her left leg flashed a golden light for a few moments. "Too bad! You "so" close to your plan!"
Aquila growls as he then notices Emma.
"If you won't give me your power, how about I kill your Pink Ranger ancestor?!" Aquila asked, which struck a nerve with Gara and the Rangers.
"Don't even think about laying a hand on Emma!" Gia shouted. "You do that and I'll kill you!"
Jake holds Gia back from getting aggressive.
"Stop it, Gia," Jake struggles to keep Gia calm.
"Emma, don't move until we say so," Troy told Emma.
"What are you doing?" Noah turns to Troy.
"Ah. Bring back old memories, princess?" Aquila asked, as Gara remembers what Aquila was referring to.
6,000 years ago
Two adults run back to a village after presumably being chased by Pedes. When they got home, they notice that their daughter, Gara, was taken hostaged by Volucris Aquila.
"Gara!" The two adults exclaimed.
"King Doren and Queen… If you don't hand over the Famille Ring… I'll cut your daughter up," Aquila raises his right eagle-like claw to Gara's throat.
"You keep our daughter out of this!" Doren demanded.
"What's it going to be then?" Aquila asked, as Doren looks at the Famille ring, which was snatched by Fecca.
"Here. Just don't kill our daughter," Fecca said, as she slowly handed Aquila the Famille ring. Aquila quickly snatches the ring from Fecca and throws Gara to the side.
"That wasn't to hard now, was it?" Aquila said. "But I'm still in a mood for killing. So, goodbye."
Aquila then kills King Doren and Queen Fecca in front of Gara, who is in tears.
"Father! Mother!" Gara screamed.
Present Day
Gara will never forget that day; dead or alive.
"Now," Troy said, as he fired his Mega Blaster at Aquila's right arm, which had him let go of Gara.
"Damn it!" Aquila stumbles back.
"Gara! Are you okay?!" Emma asked, as she helps Gara up.
"You won't be for long… Take this!" Aquila shouted, as he fired his feather-like darts and the ground again, once again creating a blinding light.
The part had a lot to unpack. We finally got to the Legendary Ranger Modes, the moment you've all been waiting for! These teams that I selected for the Legendary Ranger Modes were not that hard, since they're from hunterkiller1440's How to Fix Megaforce's take on adapting the Gokaiger movie. Since i took inspiration for that, I decided to use it here. Also, the Famille Ring is another reference to Ahim.
