Somehow wrote up to chapter 36 over the last few weeks so will upload a chapter every few days to save wasting them, if anyone shows an intrest before then, I'll carry it on or if not I'll wrap it up but it may be a little abprut, so let me know if anyone wants it carrying on. Rose woke up a few hours later. She smiled to herself a little as she saw Lily and Jack fast asleep.
She decided to get up, needing to grab a drink but the tap woke Jack up. "Hey" Jack said quietly as he got out of bed "sorry, I didn't mean to wake you" Rose gave a small guilty smile "don't worry about it. Are you OK?" He asked as he reached her. She nodded "I am now I know you're OK" Jack smiled and kissed her head as he hugged her. "What happened to you? Did you get on a boat?" She looked up at him. "No, I went down with the ship, but swam back up and managed to climb on a door. I just waited until a boat came back" Jack said "oh my gosh" Rose said. "Lily doesn't need to know that, OK? If she asks, I just got on a different boat to you" Jack said "of course" Rose nodded "were you both OK on the lifeboat?" He said. "Frightened… and Lily kept asking for you of course, but we're all together now, that's all there is to it… for us, anyway…" Rose said, suddenly feeling guilty for her insensitive comment. "Now I just have to wait and see if my Mother and Cal made it" she sighed "how will we find out?" Jack asked "I'll check the survivors list the day we arrive" she replied "I'll try and stay in here until then, just in case" she nodded. "You can't stay cooped up in here Rose, we're not due to arrive in to New York until Thursday evening. That'll have been 3 days without fresh air" he said concerned "it's better that than risk Cal being alive and seeing me, because he'll make me go with him, Jack, no matter how much of a fight we put up" she insisted "fine…" Jack sighed and turned his attention back to the bed and he heard Lily toss and turn.
"Is she OK?" Rose asked confused as Jack walked over to the bed "she's having a nightmare" he said as she sat on the edge of the bed "Lil's… Lily… wake up darling" he said as he shook her gently. Lily woke up suddenly and sat up quickly. Jack was surprised she didn't begin to cry but instead just looked at him. He forced a gently smile "you OK?" He asked, getting a nod in response. "I'm hungry" Lily said "come on, we'll go and get some tea" he said as he watched her climb off the bed. "Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Jack offered. Rose shook her head "no, I'll stay here" she smiled gently "OK… I'll bring you some food back" he smiled back and grazed her hand before leaving with Lily.
