A/N: Surprise! I'm posting around 6-ish in the morning my time. So, def a little earlier than expected, but I'm sure y'all won't mind that. Lol! I was up early. So, I thought I might as well post it a bit early. Anyways, enjoy.

Day 6: December 6th

The next day, Andy found a small-ish white box on his desk shortly after midnight.

Buzz had been sent out on a coffee run.

Julio, Sykes, and Coop, who was working the case with them, had gone out to get some dinner.

Mike went into the break room to get some work done for Badge of Justice on his computer.

Provenza had gone to some greasy burger place for takeout.

Meanwhile, Andy had gone up the street to his and Sharon's favorite deli and returned with salads, sandwiches, and a couple lemonades in a drink holder.

That was when he saw the box.

He decided to set the bag of food and the lemonades down on Sharon's desk before going back to his desk and retrieving the small white box.

Sharon wasn't in her office at the time, so Andy decided to quickly divide up their food before sitting in the chair in front of Sharon's desk.

When he couldn't wait any longer, he pulled the red ribbon tied around the box and began to open it.

Inside was a dark brown leather wallet.

Andy opened it to the inside and was surprised to find an engraving in the leather on the right side.

It read:

All my love,

Sharon

Meanwhile, Sharon, who stood in the doorway unbeknownst to Andy, smiled as she saw him run his hand over the leather engraving.

"Thought you might like that small touch," replied Sharon as she finally walked into her office and went to sit down in her desk chair.

"Sharon…" Andy trailed off emotionally.

"It would seem I've rendered you speechless," teased Sharon.

"This is the best gift you could've given me. Your love…" Andy marveled as he reached across the desk and took Sharon's hand in his and gently squeezed it.

"You say that about every gift," Sharon pointed out.

"Well, it's true. You are an expert gift giver," Andy told her.

"Now a piece of me is always with you," Sharon told him as she squeezed his hand back.

"Actually, I rescind my previous statement. The best gift you've ever given me is your heart," Andy told her.

Sharon began swiping at her eyes as a few stray tears began streaming down her face,

Andy squeezed her hand again and it took Sharon a moment to speak, but when she did, she said, "The greatest gift you've ever given me is your heart too."

Andy gently squeezed Sharon's hand three times to signal "I love you," and she squeezed his back four times to symbolize that she loved him too.

They just sat there holding hands and staring into each other's eyes before Andy broke eye contact first and said, "Well, we better eat so we can get back to work."

"Yeah," replied Sharon as she let go of his hand and opened her salad while Andy unwrapped the brown paper his sandwich was in and they began eating their food in companionable silence

No words were needed between them.
