She could only gasp at the sight before her and while she couldn't feel any joy at what she was looking at she still felt her breath taken from her.
Read flower petals flew in the air when the wind blew, they seemed to sparkle when they crossed paths with the water broke off from the waterfall.
The houses that were being built at the side of the mountain were made from different materials, some were made of wood, others from brick, and a few were molded out of the mountain itself.
Sakura let out a gasp as she looked at the place where she was going to live from now on, she didn't say anything as she was guided down by her guards.
The Hyugas had changed their minds at the last second and began to look for anyone who could replace Hinata and unfortunately for her, she was the first person that they saw.
She didn't even have time to say goodbye to her family, she desperately asked them over and over again why they were cutting her hair and placing seals on her arms that changed the way that she looked, but they never answered her.
By the time they were done and she was able to see herself in the mirror she found herself looking at someone else who should have been standing in her place.
"Sa..sa, Sakura." Hinata said to her, but before either of them could say anything else, Sakura felt the servants pull her away before they brought her to this place.
She did know how long they had traveled, the truth was that she had been asleep most of the time, and every time she opened her eyes the guards would put her back to sleep.
She held back her tears as she tried to ignore the faces of the crowd who gathered around her and her guards as they made their way to the palace of the lord of the mountain.
She could feel the chakras of the people around her, it scared her because she knew that the people of Earth didn't have chakras or didn't have the same chakras that everyone else had.
One of the seals that had been put on her made it easier for her to send the people around her, but it wasn't very useful when she couldn't use it to send half of the people around her.
She briefly looked up and saw the smiling faces of the local children waving at her, she envied their carefree smiles.
"Why are they smiling?" she asks herself.
She hadn't fought in the war, but she had heard about how vicious and bloodthirsty the soldiers of Earth were.
There hadn't been a ninja that fought them and didn't return boasting about how they had killed thousands of them singlehandedly, those same soldiers would leave and then return with grim expressions and whatever pride they had before was long gone.
"I was wrong." they cried out whenever someone asked them what had happened, but it was clear to everyone that those they had fought before were nothing more than inexperienced soldiers, and what they had encountered next were Earth's true warriors.
As they neared the mansion she could see the many colored banners and rugs that hung from the walls of the palace, each one showing what she could only guess were the battles of old or the heroes of the past.
A boy with uncombed black hair who had what looked like a monkey's tail.
Behind him was either what he looked like when he was older or his father, behind the man, was a blond version of him and the image just kept on changing until it ended with the same man but with silver eyes and his original black hair.
The next image was a boy that was throwing a red and white ball and behind him were probably the creatures that he controlled.
Sakura wondered if they were real animals or summons that he made contracts with.
Next was what looked like a weak am who wore glasses, but standing over him was a giant green man with muscles all over his body, both men looked dangerous but for different reasons.
They walked past more banners and tapestries each holding the image of a battle that was held in place by their creator's memory and skilled hands.
A ship fired upon a group of men who threw themselves into death so that a flag didn't fall.
A lone sailor with a sword in hand challenged a Kraken, but the man didn't surrender or give up even as the creature's mouth closed around him.
A soldier with a gun in hand fought a creature that had the body of a man, but its face was like a demon.
It was clear to her now that the house that she had been sent to valued strength and battle over everything and that scared her, she wasn't the strongest amongst the students and now she couldn't hide from anyone if she got on anyone's nerves.
"Glad that I don't have to stay here." she heard one of her guards say as several men walked out to greet them.
"We have brought the lady, she is yours to do with as you please.' one of the guards says to the men in front of her.
"Let us show you to your rooms, I should be a good host. You traveled a long way." one of the men says to her guards.
'We appreciated, but we were ordered to deliver her to you and leave, that included no overnight stays' one of her guards says to the man who nods.
She doesn't even have time to look up when both of the guards are gone.
She looks at the group of men in front of her and one of them signals her to walk inside.
Sakura feels her seals burn and she lets out a cry in pain as she falls to her knees, she can see the sleeves of her white wedding dress as she looks at the floor of the mansion.
It takes her a moment to catch her breath and when she looks up she finds herself looking at a mirror and seeing her true face, not the illusion that was placed on her and put someone else in her place.
"Did you agree to this?" the man asks her and she immediately says no.
"We have to report this." one of the guards says to the man.
"Why I never agreed to this to begin with.' the man answered the guard.
'VBecause if they lied about this what else are they lying about." One of the other guards answered the man who nodded and agreed to let his men report her presence.
Sakura began to ry, they were going to kill her, she was used to trick them an ...and.. and
"It's okay, it wasn't your fault but you can't go back anymore." the man who should have been Hinata's husband says to her as he kneels in front of her and helps her to her feet.
"Neither of us can go home kid, so like the rest of us you should try to make the best of it." he says to her before her walls completely break and she isn't able to stop crying anymore.
