Huntresses of Fairy Tail

"Finally, some peace and quiet." Raion huffed, sinking into the hot water of the bath house, and leaning against the edge of the natural pool of hot spring water. "Thankfully, Master Makarov approved this little vacation to Hosekna Village. I really needed this."

"Same." Seras sighed, leaning into his chest. "It feels really good."

"Seras, I know you're happy to be alive again and all, and I'm glad we're both still the same age, but why'd you have to follow me to Hosekna Village, and this specific hot spring?" Raion asked.

"Well you weren't the only one, who was getting fed up with all the questions Team RWBY were throwing at us this morning." Seras said.

~Flashback~

"It's good to actually see you again, Dumb-dumb." Seras smiled, pulling up from the kiss she planted on his lips.

Raion just laid there in bed, completely motionless, before his ears perked up at hearing something, and he turned his head to the door leading to his room, finding it wide open, and with Team RWBY standing there, in complete shock, as they probably weren't expecting to see Seras give him a kiss. Seras followed his gaze, and turned to see Team RWBY there as well, giving off a smile, before she stood up straight and smiled at them.

"Hey girls, Raion's awake." Seras smiled, pushing some bangs behind her human ear.

Almost instantly, Team RWBY were piled in at the foot of Raion's bed.

"Raion, who is this woman?" Ruby questioned.

"Is she really our sister Seras?" Yang asked.

"I thought Seras was dead?" Blake inquired.

"How can she still be alive?" Weiss questioned.

"An' why were you two kissing?" All four members questioned at the same time, as Raion had pushed himself up and backed into the headboard of his bed.

"You owe us a lot of answers Raion!" Yang stated.

"An' don't tell us you don't know the answers to any of them, because we know you know more then you're letting on!" Weiss exclaimed.

"Alright girls, now let's take it easy." Seras said, trying to get them to calm down.

"An' you, just who the hell do you think you are, coming into Raion's life so suddenly like that, and throwing a wrench in our day to day?" Blake questioned.

"Please tell me you two didn't even attempt to go beyond kissing. If you did and I missed it, then I don't know what I'm gonna do." Ruby said, addressing Seras as well.

"An' are you really my long lost dead sister?" Yang questioned. "If so, where have you been all this time, what have you been doing, and did you just give Raion an STD?"

~End Flashback~

"Seriously, you'd think mom would have taught Ruby and Yang better manners." Seras huffed, before hiding half her face in the water, blowing bubbles.

"Seras… are you even aware of what actually happened to Summer?" Raion asked.

"I'm aware." Seras sighed. "Master Makarov told me what happened to her."

"So you've already gone through the song and dance with Master Makarov about whether you're a fake or not?" Raion asked.

"Did a DNA test with some of my sisters DNA and everything. The results saying I've got a genetic connection to her and Ruby both, proves I'm Tai's daughter, and their older sister." Seras said.

"Either way, your sudden revival, is doing a number on a lot of people." Raion said, leaning his head back.

"Like you?" Seras asked.

"Yeah, I have been thrown for a bit of a loop." Raion sighed.

Raion felt Seras's weight leave him as she got up, before he felt her press into him again, only this time, she was facing him. Looking down, Raion blushed when he realized her chest was pressed against his, but it vanished when he saw the upset look on her face.

"Are you not happy, that I'm alive again?" Seras asked.

"No. No, no, no, no. Come here." Raion said, straightening up, and wrapping his arms around her. "Aside from your dad, I'm probably the happiest the know you're still alive."

"Then why are you acting like this?" Seras asked, leaning into the hug.

"I'm sorry I worried you. It's just, I had accepted that you'd died, and I just wasn't expecting you to come back the way you did. You're physically, and mentally, the same age as me." Raion said. "Well maybe not mentally, I mean but…"

"Are you saying I'm childish?" Seras inquired, leaning back from him with a quirked brow.

"Oh, so childish." Raion stated, before his face was hit with hot water. "My point proven right there." He said with a laugh.

"Dummy." Seras smiled.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Raion looked over his shoulder, to see a familiar red haired young man wearing a towel around his waist.

"Hey Loki, it's good seeing you." Raion said. "What brings you by?"

"Just wanted to see this lovely lady again, and I heard she was in this town while I was on a job. So I thought I'd pop by." Loki smiled, sitting next to Raion.

"I'm gonna head back to the room Raion." Seras said. "I'll see you there."

Crossing her arms as she got out, Seras used her dry towel to cover herself, before leaving the hot spring.

"You saved me there pal." Raion sighed. "I'm pretty sure she was intending on our little splash fight, to devolve into some carnal fun."

"Just looking out for you man." Loki chuckled, floating a tray of sake between them.

"So… how bad is it?" Raion asked, taking a cup of the alcoholic beverage.

"It's bad." Loki said. "The intervals between when I phase in and out, are getting closer and closer together. I'd say I got a couple more nights, before I vanish completely."

"That sucks big time." Raion sighed. "What the fuck was the Celestial Spirit King thinking, exiling you like he did?"

"I deserved it. You were there when Karen was killed. She wouldn't have died, if I had just negotiated with her about Aries release." Loki sighed.

"Bullshit Loki." Raion said. "You're Leo the Lion Spirit, the fucking King of the Zodiac. You were just looking out for Aries, because it was the right thing to do. If anything it's my fault, that she died, because I wasn't strong enough to call myself her joint mission partner."

"I get how you feel man. But this was the Celestial Spirit Kings decision, so I can't go against it, no matter how hard I try." Loki said.

"Still, it's just not right." Raion sighed. "I know you're not gonna change how you feel about this man, but try not to break everyones hearts when you do vanish, okay?"

"I'll do my best." Loki chuckled. "So, any idea where the others are right now? I mean, the rest of the Celestial Spirits contracted to Karen."

"With the Celestial Wizard who killed her. I would have grabbed them if I could, but I was a little preoccupied dealing with one of her partners riding on a winged snake." Raion sighed. "An' I highly doubt their treatment's any better then it was before. In fact I'm certain it's worse then ever."

"Damn it all." Loki groaned. "I really wish I could do something to help them. But I'm unable to."

"So, does your past with Karen, have anything to do, with you avoiding Lucy like the plague?" Raion asked. "Because honestly, it's starting to get concerning how much of that's been happening, and how extreme it's becoming."

"Well for one, I just don't wanna end up hurting her, like I did Karen." Loki said. "For another, any one of her spirits could identify me, not just those she has from the Zodiac, and call me out in the middle of the Guild, if they ever appeared without her summoning them, or if she summoned them. Then I'd be forced to leave, or tell my secret to all of them."

"You're scared of getting close, because you're not wanting to actually hurt her, like you said you did with Karen." Raion said. "Sounds like you truly care about her as a Celestial Huntress, and a friend."

"I do." Loki stated. "But my time's almost up."

"Yeah, that is a drag." Raion sighed. "But I know there's nothing I can do to help."

"An' as much as I appreciate the gesture, this is my punishment for what happened with Karen. I have to see it through to the end." Loki said.

"At least be up front and honest with Lucy about why you're avoiding her. I think she deserves that much at least." Raion said. "I think she's starting to believe you're avoiding her, because you hate her."

"If I were to do that, she'd likely try to stop me, and do everything in her power to find a way to send me back to the Celestial Spirit realm." Loki sighed. "But I guess she does deserve a bit of friendship from me, before I leave."

"Raion, I'm heading for a walk to cool off, before heading back to the inn." Seras said, sticking her head in from inside the bath house.

"Okay, just be careful." Raion said. "I don't wanna have to attend your funeral, again."

"There's a couple of creepers who use their magic to have their way with young women stalking around these parts. I took out two of them, but there may be more. So try to avoid anyone suspicious looking, or behaving." Loki called to her.

"Thanks for the warning Loki." Seras said.

"You are a good guy, you know that?" Raion chuckled.

"I know, you keep saying it." Loki chuckled. "Now let's talk this whole awkward thing you've got going on with with Seras, Mira, and Team RWBY."

~Restaurant~

"Seriously, there's nothing going on, what are you even talking about?" Raion asked.

"You're joking right?" Loki asked. "Even a blind monk, could see there's some sort of sexual tension going on between you, Seras, Mira, and most of the girls of Team RWBY."

"That's absolutely ridiculous man." Raion stated. "Who's telling you all this stuff?"

"Dude, it's plain for anyone in the Guild to see." Loki said.

"I highly doubt that, since there's no sexual tension going on between me, or any of those six girls." Raion said.

"Keep telling yourself that man, you're just digging your own grave of denial deeper." Loki said.

"Tell you what, Yang and Ruby are both Celestial Huntresses with golden keys of their own, form a contract with one of them to remain alive, and then we'll talk." Raion stated.

"Aha, so there is something there." Loki smiled. "You're just too afraid to admit it."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Raion said, before the doors to restaurant came in.

"Hey, look who I found while walking." Seras said, as Lucy followed her into the restaurant.

"Hey Raion, Loki." Lucy smiled.

"Hey Lucy, how's it going?" Raion said.

"I'm just fine, had a close run in with some creeps though." Lucy stated.

"I remembered Loki's warning about those creeps, and when I saw them cornering someone as powerful as Lucy, I knew something was up. So I kicked their butts, and got a reward from it." Seras smiled, putting the money in front of Loki. "Here, they were your quarry, so this belongs to you."

"No, no, no. You're the one who bagged them, you keep the money." Loki said.

"I appreciate it Loki." Seras smiled, as she sat between the boys, while Lucy sat around the corner to Raions right. "So what were you two talking about?"

"Just some guy stuff." Raion said.

"Hey Seras, you know I'm not all that strong right?" Lucy asked.

"Are you kidding me? You're contracted to multiple Zodiac spirits, that speaks mad volumes for your strength as a Huntress." Seras smiled.

"She's right you know." Loki said. "You're stronger then you think Lucy."

"Wow, it must be a blue moon, if Mr. Anti-Celestial is talking to me, and praising my strength." Lucy said.

"It's nothing personal towards you Lucy." Raion said. "He's got a bit of a history with Celestial Huntresses, and just doesn't wanna repeat any mistakes made in history. So cut him a bit of slack, okay?"

"Alright, fine." Lucy said.

"Hey Boss, two orders of takoyaki." Seras said. "Lucy, you want anything?"

"I'll just have some Makizushi." Lucy said.

"You heard her Boss." Raion smiled. "An' put their orders with my bill."

~Following Morning~

The morning sunlight filtered through the paper doors of the inn room Raion was staying in. He clearly remembered everything that had happened the night before, as alcohol didn't really affect him the same way it would have affected Lucy or Loki. But Seras seemed fine, no matter how much alcohol she drank.

Opening his eyes with a yawn, Raion stretched his arms out, only pausing to find he had some weight atop him. Looking down, Raion's eyes widened, and his face reddened, when he saw Seras cuddling up next to him, hugging him like a body pillow. But what really took him by surprise, was the fact that her robe left her chest completely exposed, and pressed against him.

'Shit, shit, shit, shit. If she wakes up now, this is gonna get bad.' Raion thought.

Carefully vanishing into the shadows, Raion sunk into the ground, and reemerged outside the futon, and used the blanket to cover Seras up properly, while putting a pillow in her arms, in place of him.

"Damn, that was a close one." He sighed in a hushed tone. "We've still got a couple more days here. I hope this doesn't continue past that."

~2Days Later~

"Ugh." Raion groaned, his head on the counter of the bar.

"You doing okay there Raion?" Mira asked, sliding a drink in front of him.

"Not really." Raion stated, accepting the ale. "Please tell me this is the strong stuff that gets me at least buzzed."

"It is." Mira said. "This one's on the house. Thought you might need it."

"Thank you." Raion said, taking a swig of it.

"So, what's got you like this? I thought you just got back from a trip to relax and recover." Mira said.

"I did, but I could hardly relax, when Seras kept being one big tease." Raion said. "Every morning there, I'd wake up with Seras, half naked and hugging me like a body pillow. It didn't help that she chose a unisex hot spring for us to bathe in during our visit. Though the water was so steamy I wasn't able to see anything, which I thank the Gods above for."

"Oh my sounds like Seras is really enjoying being an adult." Mira said.

"No kidding. But the strange part is, she's able to use the same magic as me. However, one thing is different." Raion said. "I can't use that projection and strengthening magic anymore. The same kind I used when fighting Torchwhick and Neopolitan, meaning I'm unable to produce anymore weapons now."

"Maybe it's for the best." Mira said. "You've never really needed a weapon before."

"No, I haven't. But it was kinda nice to be able to fight with a weapon, you know?" Raion said.

"I understand what you're saying. But I do hope you're aware of your boundaries with Seras." Mira said. "I doubt she'd be too interested in motherhood so soon after returning from the dead."

"You don't gotta worry, nothing like that happened." Raion stated. "I made sure that it never devolved into something like that.

"That's good at least." Mira smiled. "Oh, by the way. I wanted let you know, you got a summons from the Master."

"The Master summoned me?" Raion asked. "Where is he?"

"He wanted me to let you know, he's at the diner down the road." Mira stated. "He wants to discuss something important with you."

"Okay, I guess I could head there now." Raion shrugged, downing the rest of his drink, before heading off.

Before he could actually leave however, Raion found himself facing four girls, who looked rather displeased.

"Where's Loki?" They all questioned, looking at him.

'Oh boy, these are the girls whose hearts Loki broke.' Raion thought. 'He must have broke up with them, because he's gonna vanish soon.'

"I've been looking all over, for Loki." The first girl said. "Where is he?"

"I can't believe he ran out on me." Another girl stated.

"What are you doing here huh?" The third girl asked, looking to the fourth.

"I could ask you the same thing." The fourth retorted.

"Loki, come back." The second girl cried.

"Okay, look ladies. First I wanna ask, why you decided to come to me about this?" Raion asked.

"I saw the two of you at that resort town, having dinner with those two women sitting with you." The second woman said, before pointing her finger at him, making the young man lean back as it got in his face. "Fess up, did you seduce Loki and turn him against me?"

"Oh for the love of… no, I didn't seduce him." Raion groaned. "Listen, not that I have anything against the LGBTQ Community, but I'm straight, and currently live with five women in my house, three of which are childhood friends of mine."

"So then where is he?" One of the girls asked.

"How should I know?" Raion asked. "Look, the only thing you saw was a couple of guys enjoying some dinner after a bath with some fellow Guild Mates. Loki's a good guy, and I'm sure he has his reasons, but you need to let it be. Guild life is hard, and dangerous, it's possible he left on a serious job, that he might not come back from, and didn't wanna leave any of you heartbroken at his death."

"So he broke our relationship off to spare me the heartache?" The first girl asked.

"Excuse you? He was in a relationship with me."

"As if, I was his girlfriend."

"No, me."

Raion just looked at the girls, before he sighed and turned away from them, heading for the exit.

"I'm just gonna go now." Raion stated.

~Team RWBY~

"What do you think that was all about?" Blake asked, as all five girls sitting at the table, RWBY plus Seras, watched Raion walk away from the four girls who broke out into a fight.

"Believe it or not, they accused Raion of seducing Loki into breaking up with them. But Raion shot that idea down, hard, by mentioning all of us." Yang said.

"Really? Raion doesn't strike me as that type." Weiss said.

"Because he's not." Seras smiled, holding up her brand new, shiny Scroll. "An' I know that for a fact."

"How could you know something like that?" Ruby asked.

"Because of this handy little app I downloaded." Seras smiled. "It utilizes the projection magic in the Scroll, and reads someones mind."

"A mind reading app?" Weiss questioned.

"More specifically, it reads what someone's kink is, as well as their true sexuality, even if the target doesn't know it." Seras said. "An' Raions reads as straight."

"You're kidding me." Yang gasped.

"Nope." Seras smirked. "So now, I know what Raion's into, when doing the down and dirty in bed. An' it's very, very surprising. But also, kinda hot."

"You've been an adult for little more then a week, and you've already got quite the dirty mind." Ruby said.

"What can I say?" Seras smirked. "I'm a bad little Tyger."

"Hey, do you think Dad will be arriving anytime soon?" Ruby asked.

"Why would dad be coming?" Seras asked.

"Well, once we told him about you, he said he'd be making his way to Fiore as soon as possible. It's been a while since then, so he probably had to wait until Signal could find a substitute." Yang explained.

"I'm not so sure I wanna see him." Seras said.

"Why wouldn't you wanna see your dad?" Blake asked.

"Well… it's not that I don't love him, I'm just worried how he'll react to seeing me, the way I am." Seras said.

"What's wrong with the way you are?" Weiss asked. "Aside from the obvious perversions, of course."

"Take a look at what I'm wearing." Seras said, scooting back.

Her long black hair with violet frosted tips, was tied into a spiky ponytail with some bangs hanging on the right side of her face. Her clothes consisted of a low collared, sleeveless black leotard, with a loose hanging silver belt, with gold lines at her waist and around her arms. The leotard was is open at the front, exposing her skin from her neck to just below her navel, while barely holding in her K-Cup chest, revealing the Fairy Tail emblem on her left shoulder in dark red. Standing up, Seras revealed she had a pair of black stretchy fabric form fitting pants, overshadowed by a red pleated waist cloak, going from hip to hip, with black soled calf length red boots with combat heels, gold edges, and pointed up sharply in the center. On her forearms, she had a pair of red bracers, with gold edges, matching her boots, connected to a ringed chain leading to the middle fingers of each hand. Her Tyger ears and tail made her look all the more badass.

"Cana ears less then that Seras, you'll be fine." Ruby said. "I'm sure dad's gonna love you no matter what you're dressed like."

"I honestly hope you're right Ruby." Seras sighed, sitting back down. "I honestly hope you're right."

"Onto another topic." Blake said. "Have you found any hobbies since you were brought back from the dead?"

"You know what I have actually. I found this book series called Ninja's of Love."

~Diner~

Raion made his way into the diner, where Mira said Master Makarov would be. Looking around, he spotted Makarov, sitting at a booth with a blonde haired man, and a graying haired man, wearing a crooked crucifix.

"Sorry to keep you up." Raion said, making his way to their table. "I got held up by some of Loki's, former lovers."

"Raion my boy. Perfect timing actually." Makarov said. "Glad to see you got my message from Mira. Please, have a seat. You remember Taiyang and Qrow Branwen, right?"

"Is it really you Raion?" Taiyang questioned, getting to his feet.

"Yeah, it's me Mr. Xiao Long." Raion sighed, expecting to get punched.

Rather then getting hit, Raion was surprised, when he found Tai hugging him, like a father would his son.

"I can't believe you're actually here." Tai said. "I thought we'd lost you, just like Seras."

"It's me, I'm still around." Raion said, before Tai let go of the hug, showing he was crying a bit. "There's no need for the waterworks, seriously."

"You'll have to forgive him Raion." Qrow said, getting up from the table. "He's just not used to the people he cares about, coming back from the dead, let alone two of them."

"It's good to see you again Mr. Branwen." Raion said.

"Call me Qrow. Mr. Branwen makes me face the reality of how old I really am." Qrow chuckled.

"Please, take a seat, all three of you. You're causing a scene." Makarov said.

"What's this all about Master?" Raion asked, sitting across from Makarov and Tai at the table, with Qrow sitting next to him.

"We wanted to talk to you, about Seras." A new voice said.

Raion looked to Tai, before he slid out his Scroll, laying it on the table and projecting a video call with Headmaster Ozpin from Beacon Academy.

"Headmaster Ozpin. I haven't seen you since I grabbed Erigor from the Emerald Forest. How have you been?" Raion asked.

"I've been well, thank you for asking." Ozpin said. "Unfortunately though, Erigor did manage to escape custody during prisoner transport."

"I heard about that. I tried searching for him myself, but he went completely off the grid." Raion said.

"Pleasantries aside, we do need to discuss what happened with my eldest daughter." Tai said.

"Right, we do need to discuss that." Ozpin said. "I read over the report you gave after you'd awoken from your coma after completing the Fazbear job. Team RWBY acted of their own accord and disobeyed your orders about staying behind when it was made an S-Class."

"That they did sir." Raion said.

"Then would it be safe to say, you reprimanded them accordingly?" Ozpin asked.

"That was actually left to my discretion, as Raion was catatonic for several days after the incident at Fazbears. I forbade them from taking on any jobs for two weeks, while also subjecting them to the same punishment I put Natsu, Lucy, and Grey through when they stole an S-Class quest, and Grey joined in." Makarov said. "While at the same time, I welcomed Seras to the Guild as our newest member."

"I see." Ozpin said. "Now in the report, you mentioned seeing a hooded figure having taken Afton's soul, but afterwards you saw a glowing light with your reflection inside, though looking a tad different, in the same location you'd placed Ms. Xiao Longs remains."

"That's right, I did."

"The details here are a bit fuzzy, but what was the difference in your reflection?" Ozpin asked.

"Well… my clothes were different, for sure. But my right eye, was orange with no pupil anywhere, and a gear having taken the place of an iris." Raion explained.

"I was afraid of that." Ozpin sighed. "My boy what you saw, was your future self, through a window in time."

"A window in time?" Raion asked. "Magic like that is, ancient, thought to be nothing more then myth, like the magic of the Four Maidens."

"I assure you, it's very real, and very dangerous." Ozpin said. "I couldn't tell you what kind of magic you saw yourself use, or how you'd get your hands on it, but I can tell you, that the fact that you did use it, means that is a focal point in time, that cannot be changed and was set in motion, the moment you saw yourself through that window in time."

"So then… it's gonna happen. No matter what I do, it's still gonna happen." Raion said. "That's just great."

"Now then, we're no longer needed here." Qrow said, grabbing his Scroll. "We're gonna go, and get to know Seras. It's been quite a while since we've spoken with her, and I don't think Tai can hold off on talking to her anymore. Master, I believe you still have something you wanna talk to him about."

"I do indeed, yes Qrow." Makarov said.

"We'll see you later on Raion." Tai said, as the two men left.

"What is it, you're wanting to speak with me about in private Master?" Raion asked.

"I wanted to talk with you about something important." Makarov said. "Something that might cause a civil war within Fairy Tail."

"What's the matter?"

"Well, I'm aware of how you managed to hold your own against Laxus, I'm not surprised you were able to do that, but I am glad things didn't escalate further." Makarov said. "Sometimes though I wish you'd give that boy a good thrashing, to teach him some humility."

"Believe me, I've wanted to for a while." Raion sighed. "But doing so would cause some serious damage to the Guildhall that I don't wanna cause. Does this have something to do with the Guild Master Succession?" He inquired as a drink was given to him.

"It does my boy, it does indeed." Makarov stated.

"I see, so you want me to help you out with picking the next Guild Master or something?" Raion asked, taking a swig of his drink.

"Actually my boy. I want you to succeed me."

Raion had to turn his head to the side as he did a spit take, while the gasp had caused him to cough as he put his drink down, before looking at Makarov, while cleaning his face with a napkin.

"You're joking right?" Raion asked. "You gotta be, otherwise I don't see how that'd be a conceivable idea."

"That's the first thing you say to being offered the mantle of Guild Master?" Makarov asked, raising a brow.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm honored you chose me. But I'm still the newest S-Class Huntsman in the Guild, and I'm pretty sure Laxus is going to literally try and kill me, if he finds out about this." Raion stated.

"True, Laxus will be displeased with my decision. But he has proven time and again, that he values strength over anything else. Which does not make him leadership material." Makarov stated.

"Then what exactly makes me qualified for taking your place?" Raion asked.

"My dear boy, that is something you're gonna have to figure out for yourself. But in the meantime, think my offer over, and come back to me when you've made up your mind." Makarov said. "Order anything you'd like off the menu. It's on me today."

"Thank you Master, that is, greatly appreciated." Raion said, before he paused as he had a thought. "Before I get into that, there is something I'd like to discuss with you, myself."

~Raion's Household~

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Yang questioned, looking right at Raion from across the island counter in the kitchen.

"Uh… no I'm not kidding you." Raion said, stirring some drinks. "Master Makarov, offered me the position of his successor."

"That's amazing kid." Qrow said.

"So, are you gonna take him up on the offer?" Tai asked.

"I honestly don't know." Raion stated. "I mean, when I asked him what made me qualified for the position, he said I'd have to figure that out for myself."

"Raion, it's okay to be nervous about this." Tai said. "Being Guild Master is a big responsibility that can be more then some people can handle."

"Tai's right." Qrow said. "He was temporarily in charge while Master Makarov was out for a conference once, and he nearly snapped just from the pressure alone."

"The thing is, I'm confident I can handle the job. I just don't understand what makes me qualified, or if I'll be able to live up to Master Makarov's expectations or not." Raion said.

"I kinda know how you feel Raion." Ruby said. "I was afraid I wouldn't be able to live up to Ozpin's expectations when he named me Team Leader. But look at me now, I'm doing just fine as Team Leader."

"Ruby you nearly had a nervous breakdown three days ago when Raion and I left for Hosekna Village." Seras said.

"The point is, I can relate and understand what you're feeling. Even if the opportunity you're being given, is on a much grander scale." Ruby stated.

"I think what Ruby means to say big guy, is that no matter what you decide, we've all got your back." Yang said.

"I know I do." Blake smiled. "I'd be lost if you hadn't supported me when I came out to the Team as a Faunus."

"You're crude, stubborn, annoying, and extremely persistent." Weiss said.

"An' I'm letting you live here, rent free." Raion said. "So stop insulting me."

"My point is, even though you're all those things, you're a good person. So I don't see any reason why Master Makarov wouldn't choose you to succeed him." Weiss added.

"We've all got your back big guy." Tai said. "You have our support, 100%."

Knock-knock-knock.

"I wonder who that could be this late at night?" Raion asked.

"I got it." Ruby said, hopping up from the couch and heading for the door.

Raion followed Ruby to the foyer, and saw as the reaper girl opened the door, revealing Lucy standing there, a concerned look on her face.

"Lucy, what are you doing here?" Raion asked. "How'd you even find my house?"

"Master told me where you live. The Guild needs your help Raion." Lucy stated.

"Tell me what's going on. What can I do to help?" Raion asked.

"It's Loki." Lucy said. "Grey came to my house, and told me he just up and left the guild. He quit being a Fairy Tail Huntsman like it was nothing."

"I'll help you search for him." Raion said, grabbing a coat. "Team RWBY, Seras, you all help in the search to."

"I need you to tell me something Raion." Lucy said. "I need you to tell me, why Leo the Lion Spirit, is here without a master holding command over his key."

Raion was taken aback at first, but sighed when he threw on his jacket, and went straight for the door.

"I'll explain it on the way." Raion said. "Right now, I think I know where he might be. It's probably the only place he'd be at a time like this."

~Karen's Grave~

All was quiet, as Loki stood before the grave of his former master. He'd been torn up about it for the three years he'd spent on earth, and now he was ready to fully embrace his fate.

"Looks like Raion was right, to start our search here." Lucy stated, alerting him to the fact that he wasn't alone.

Loki turned around to see Lucy standing there with Raion at her side. The young mans hands in his coat pockets.

"This is where she died, where your master died, didn't she Loki?" Lucy asked. "No, not Loki. Leo the Lion Spirit."

"So you figured it out." Loki sighed, before looking to the hybrid next to her. "Did you tell her Raion?"

"Lucy figured it out on her own, I just filled her in on how I already knew. She did some research herself, before Grey told her you were gone." Raion stated. "Then she came and confronted me, about what I knew."

"How long have you been on your own without a master?" Lucy asked.

"It's been about three years, since I killed Karen." Loki explained.

"I still call bullshit on you killing her." Raion stated firmly. "That would be just like saying I was the one who caused the incident in the SDC mines that I escaped from before I came to Fairy Tail."

Lucy looked at the hybrid behind her in shock. She had no idea he was hiding something like that about his past. Then again, she didn't really know him that well.

"True it wasn't by my hands. But we got into an argument, I was tired of her abusing her spirits, so I kept my gate open by force, which led her to be helpless against what I was able to do. I was trying to save a friend of mine, Aries. Karen treated us like toys, like mere common objects." Loki explained. "I forced my gate to stay open until she would relinquish mine and Aries contracts, in turn it led her to desperate measures, which got her killed."

"Then it wasn't your fault." Lucy stated.

"You were trying to protect your friend. You were trying to do what was right. If you honestly believe that you killed her, then I'm just as much to blame for that as I was there, and I wasn't able to save her." Raion stated. "Whoever thought it was right to banish you to die here was wrong, you don't deserve to be here for so long without replenishing your energy, it was cruel for them to exile you, just for standing up for a friend. I'm not gonna let a friend of mine, die for a crime he didn't commit! You're the King of the Zodiac and you deserve to be given a second chance. An' I will fight, anyone who says otherwise, including the damned spirit who exiled you to begin with."

Just as soon as he said that, Loki keeled over in pain, his body phasing in and out of the dimensional realms. Raion grabbed the Celestial spirit by the shoulders and began pouring his energy into Loki, attempting his best to keep him from vanishing, and anchored in their realm, as Lucy grabbed onto him and began doing the same.

"Stop, what are you doing?" Loki questioned. "Let go, or you're both going to vanish with me."

"We won't let you go, we won't leave you to die." Raion stated, gritting his teeth in pain as he began phasing in and out of reality with Loki.

"You idiot, what about Seras and Team RWBY? What about them, are you just gonna leave them all alone?" Loki questioned.

"No." Raion said. "I'm not gonna leave them." Raion's aura flared up, like white hot flames enveloping his body, as he pushed himself further past his limits. "But that doesn't mean I'm giving up on you either! I WILL FIGHT, THE GODS DAMNED CELESTIAL SPIRIT KING IF I FUCKING HAVE TO!"

"WHOEVER SAID THIS WAS RIGHT IS DEAD WRONG!" Lucy shouted.

After saying this, a force of energy, echoed through the air, pushing Lucy and Raion away from Loki, causing his sunglasses to drop from his face. Before the glasses could hit the ground, time and space seemed to freeze and the waterfall seemed to stop, before going in reverse. The night sky began to spin and turn, before it appeared as though they were seeing it through a kaleidoscope, before a large figure manifested itself, within an illumination of light, revealing an armored giant of a man.

"Who dares to challenge me to a duel, and say that my judgement is wrong?"

'What the, this can't be happening. Did the Celestial Spirit King really just come here from his throne just because someone said he's wrong, and challenged him to a fight to change the verdict?' Loki thought questionably. 'Is it because they both have a connection to the Celestial realm?'

"I do." Raion stated Getting to his feet, jumping to the very edge of the cliff. "My name is Raion El Dorado. I am a friend of Leo the Lions. What you're doing is wrong. He doesn't deserve to be punished for what he did. He was just defending a friend in need. Don't do this, please. If you honestly believe he's at fault for it, then that makes me just a guilty, as I took the same job Karen died on."

"Your hands, are not stained with the blood of the Celestial Huntress, and though it was not by his hand, Leo the Lion is still responsible for the death of his master, thus going against his contract, and being punished with banishment."

"That doesn't matter, he was standing up for a friend, trying to protect her. He was willing to sacrifice everything for her." Raion stated. "You would exile your own friend, just because he was standing up for his friends, your subjects, who were being hurt, and abused at the hands of an abusive self entitle brat in an adults body. You sir, are no true King. You're not even worthy of the title of a nobleman. If you allowed for this behavior to take place, then you have no right to judge others, when you yourself have failed to protect your people!"

"You dare, to say such blasphemy towards the Celestial Spirit King? Do you truly wish to die, in a battle against me?"

"I dare, to stand up for those who are being mistreated." Raion stated. "You have no idea, the kind of pain Loki has had to endure while being here. If you truly claimed to be his friend, then you'd see that some of the laws of the Celestial Spirit world, are wrong. Leo, should not be punished, for Karens stupidity, choosing to go out on a job when she knew, she didn't have the magic for it. I even warned her, that she couldn't handle the job with how low her magic reserves were. Don't you see that by punishing Leo, you're doing nothing but depriving the Zodiacs of their King? Karen, was an abusive woman. Loki can vouch, for it. Hell, even my one encounter with her told me as much. She mistreated her Celestial Spirits, and worse she threatened them with great harm, that could have killed any one of them, for good. Loki should be rewarded for his efforts, not punished for the failures of others. So if you still believe your judgement of his transgressions as just, then I will fight you, and I won't stop, until I have won."

There was a tense moment of silence, as Raion and the Celestial Spirit King stared one another down. The moment passed, and ended as something shocking happened. The King of the Celestial Realm, began to laugh.

"Ahahahahahaha, ahahahahahaha, ahahahahahaha. It has been… too long, since anyone, has deigned to even attempt talking to me in such a way. How prideful you must be, mortal."

"I'd like to consider myself, less prideful, and more courageous." Raion stated.

"Young one, you have spoken honestly from the heart, and you've spoken your beliefs. Your words have made me come to realize, that there might not be anything wrong with our friends, but with the laws themselves."

"The credit doesn't just belong to me." Raion said, looking over his shoulder, to Lucy and Loki, before looking back to the Celestial Spirit King. "It's the strength of my friends, that pushes me to do what I believe is right."

"Still, your words have truly reached this old fools heart. So I hereby grant Leo the Lion, passage back to the Celestial Spirit Realm, and he shall be in service to the human girl, who's stood by his side throughout this endeavor."

Raion looked over his shoulder once more, smiling in reaction to their looks of disbelief, before his attention was drawn back to the Celestial Spirit King.

"As for you young one. For your courage, I ask that you hold out your hand."

Raion did so, unsure of what was to happen, before the Celestial Spirit King held out one of his own, his palm completely covering Raion, before it lit up with magical energy. Raion looked at the palm covering him, before he looked down at his hand and saw a golden rod, the size of a screwdriver handle, with runes engraved into it.

"What is this?" The Saiyan asked.

"That, my young warrior, is the Celestial Saber."

"No way." Loki said, running up to Raions side. "Raion, this is the highest honor the Celestial Spirit King can bestow upon anyone. The Celestial Saber can take on the form of any weapon its wielder requires. An' that's only once facet of its abilities."

"So… what else does it do exactly?" Raion inquired.

"So long as you have the will, this tool will allow you to tap into my strength, both physical, and magical. An' if the situation is dire enough, it will allow you to summon me, as with you being in possession of this weapon, instates a contract between us. Use it wisely, and never stop being true to who you are."

"Thank you, I promise to take good care of it." Raion said, putting his arms to his sides, and bowing to the Celestial Spirit King.

"But be warned. Should you force yourself, past your limits once too often, then you will lose yourself, and you will be destroyed from the backlash of this weapon."

"I'll be sure, to keep myself from doing that." Raion said. "I swear, to do my best, to remain a straight forward hero, and to live up to the expectations you've set, with bestowing this to me."

~Elsewhere~

The darkness of night filled the air, as the silhouette of a cloaked figure made their way through the forest, to an abandoned building that had dozens of unconscious bodies sprawled out across the ground. From deep within the building, Laxus stepped out, with three others following behind him closely.

"Well? Report." Laxus said.

"It's just as you feared sir." The figure said. "Makarov gave Raion the chance to take up the mantle of Guild Master. He's completely ignored your familial ties, in favor of someone completely unworthy of his succession."

"You did good work Emerald." Laxus said, as the cloaked figure removed her hood, showing a dark skinned girl with light emerald green hair. "So, if it's a battle of Fairy Tail the old man wants, then it's a battle he's gonna get."
