Kairi pov.

I felt Namine jump on my bed. "Kairi, wake up!" She shouted. I pulled the blankets over my head. "No." I said a little grumpy. I was wide awake, but I wanted to stay in my bed forever. I remembered everything that happened last night and yes, I know what you're thinking. She's in love!

"Come on Kairi!" Namine pulled the blanket off me and i shot up. "Namine please just let me die of shame right now." I covered my face and she laughed. "Oh Kairi, there's no shame for loving someone."

Yes i told Namine i had feelings for Sora and what happened yesterday. "But i don't even know why." I mumbled through my hands and she ruffled my hair. "Because you can't choose who you love." She said. I stared at her between my fingers and she was just smiling at me. "Okay, fine! I will go with you guys." I said.

It was our first day of our 2 weeks off school and Namine and my friends had the weird tradition to go and watch movies all day with lots of snacks and drinks.

So I was now fully dressed and the weather had a big change. This night it had snowed and I could see a lot of people playing with it like they were little kids again. I still thought about yesterday and what Sora said to me. Maybe it was not really a big of a deal but I still wondered if he could remember it all because he was pretty drunk. "Hey you two." I was pulled out of my trail of thoughts and met eyes with Riku and Roxas. We would go to the supermarket in town and buy a lot of stuff. Because school self would be officially closed and most people would go home they didn't cook meals like they did on a normal week. So yes we needed some food and other stuff so we could survive the two weeks. Also Sora and Riku would work at the local place twice a week and even Namine worked in the evening as a waiter. Roxas on the other hand stayed like me on campus because we still had some spare money we got from our family's. My grandma wanted to be sure i could have the best time here without having money problems. So she sended me some money. I promised her to give it all back and that I could work for my money once I was here but she said I needed to focus on my school and work could come later.

"So we will all eat together and use the school kitchen to cook right?" I asked for the fourth time . "Yes and Yes even Sora will join." Namine added again. "Right." I stayed quiet after that and i saw Riku eyeing me.

"What is it with Sora all of the sudden?" He asked and he looked a little worried? "Well he said some things to Kairi yesterday and now she's all clumsy and lost because of what he said." I felt my head heat up at Namine's words and Riku nodded. "Okay.. So what did he say?" He asked me again and I turned my gaze to the ground. "I'm driving him crazy and he wanted to get closer to me." I mumbled. He stayed quiet for a while, probably letting the words sink in. "Hmm, well that does sound interesting." He smiled at me with a flirty look in his eyes and normally I would slap him playfull on the arm and tell him not to get ideas but I was so confused i said nothing. "Nothing? Not even a eye roll. Namine we need a new Kairi this one is broken for sure." He joked and I stared at him. "Oh never mind she's is working again." He winked.

Once we got to the store I felt relieved because Sora wasn't joining us because i didn't want him to face just yet. But once again, luck was never at my side because when we walked in I bumped into him and my face was going red. "Ouch, Sorry." He said rubbing the sore spot on his chest. His eyes met with mine and I knew I was as red as a tomato while he looked just fine. He probably didn't remember anything.. He raised an eyebrow and rolled his eyes. Jep that was the Sora i knew and eyes turned to the ground. "Well, We will see you later I think you two need to talk." It surprised me that Roxas said it and dragged Namine with him and Riku patted Sora on the back before he walked with them.

"So.." I said with a small voice and he scratched his head. "Well, I don't remember all the thing to be honest but I know I said something that might have you thinking." He said and I nodded. "Well to start off, I really don't hate you like I said yesterday." He avoided my eyes and I felt my heart start to beat a little harder again. "And I do want us to be friends." He added now meeting my eyes and I was lost for words. So I nodded again. Happy that he's finally becoming himself I think. "Well I need to get back to my work I will meet with you guys up around 4." he pointed to the back and my eyes wided. I just realized that he was wearing a polo with the stores logo on it and I facepalmed myself in my thoughts. How could I not notice this. "Sorry I didn't want to disturb your work!" I apologized and I saw a smile grow on his face . "Nah it's fine, I know them well I have been working for 3 years here now. I can talk to costumer's." He winked and think I felt my heart stop for a second. "Wait how could you be at work already?" I asked. "I always work here when i'm not going home so they were really happy to hear i could work this vacation so this called and asked if i could help out like one hour ago." I nodded "Well bye for now." I waved and caught up with the others. Namine had a smile planted on her face. "We saw that." She said and my blush only grew bigger. "Please, I feel like a middle schooler again." I hide my face and they all laughed.

It was now 4 o'clock and while Namine and I prepared the veggies the guys made the rest. And by guys I ment Roxas. Riku was setting the table for us and Sora was not here yet. We would make tacos because it was pretty easy to make in a large amount. Hayner and Olette would stay for dinner too but would leave this night back to their hometown. I kept on gazing to the door waiting for him to walk in but nothing was happening and I let out a sigh again. Namine just giggled everytime I did.

"Sorry I had to handle some stuff." Sora said now walking in just when dinner was ready. We ate extra early so we could have enough snacks while watching movies. We would stay in Riku's and Sora's room. "Finally, I would have started without you because it is smelling so delicious." Riku joked. Sora rolled his eyes but sat down next to me. "Hi." we both said at the same time. Why was I like this! Cheeks red again! "Okay guys, enjoy." Roxas said as he placed a hug pan with taco filing on the table. Namine put a bowl with some side dishes on table and the taco shells. My mouth watered and Riku was already digging in the food. "Omg, I hate waiting for food when it's good." He said now stuffing his face full with tacos. "Just don't eat everything we still want some." Sora said and everyone laughed. It was finally good between us and it felt, great.

I secretly looked at him now and then and god, I was lost in his eyes. I only now noticed how beautiful they were and how they would light up when he talked about something that made him happy. When he was with Xion he never had those sparks in his eyes and now when I could see how happily he is talking with his friends about stuff he missed again I couldn't stop myself from smiling.

I ate my food in silence and my eyes stayed on Sora. Once we were finished we all cleaned the dishes and stuff and I walked back to my room with Namine. We needed some clothes to change into because sitting in jeans the whole night wouldn't be comfy. She opened our dorm and I changed in a sweatpants with a hoodie over it. my hair was in a messy bun and Namine did the same. We grabbed our blankets and pillows.

"Roxas will get his matras and Hayners so we can sleep on it. Their dorm and Riku was next to each other ,otherwise we needed to carry two mattresses al the way up. I giggled at the idea because I could already see the boys with a matras stuck in the elevator. "Hello ladies." Roxas greeted us when he opened the door. "Hey, handsome." Namine kissed him and plopped on the ground. Roxas sat next to her and warped his arms around her waist. "Kairi will you come sit next to me?" Riku pouted. I walked over to his bed and sat on the edge.

"Sora is taken a shower but when he's done he will join us." Roxas said. The thoughts of him being in the shower turned my face red again and Riku poked my cheeks. "Hey now, don't go thinking about him in the shower or else I will be jealous." He said with a fake pout. But our eyes turned around when Sora came in the room only wearing a black sweatpants and nothing more, A little water still dripping from is hair and his chest all exposed. I had the urge to cover my eyes but i was more frozen at the fact how good he looked in my opinion. "Please Sora cover up." Riku teased him and he rolled his eyes but still threw on a t shirt. Plopping on his bed and he looked at me. I just realized that I was still staring at his moves and even when he sat down. my eyes were still on him. "Hey." He said with a smile and grabbed his phone closing the distance a little for a few seconds. " H-hi." I barely stammered and my heart started to speed up.

"So what movie? Horror right?" Riku said now also on his phone. I don't know why but I had the feeling Riku and Sora were texting each other because they would share a smile or a gaze at the other. I blinked a couple times. Oh no, not the horror again. "Sure! Horror is always the best." Roxas said and Namine snuggled into him. Sora turned the lights off and turned on the tv. What was our only light at the moment.

I know it must have been my imagination but I was sure that Riku was pushing me closer to Soras bed. Not giving in whatever their plan could be I moved over to the matras that was still empty on the floor. I hated horror movies but I didn't want to sit next to Sora or Riku anymore. Namine gave me a quick smile before watching the movie again. Roxas had a bag with chips that he was happily eating and Namine some chocolate. I looked around me where all the snacks were and I heard a 'ahem'. I turned my head and Sora pointed next to him. On his nightstand laid some more chocolate, Some chips and even a bag with popcorn. I pointed at the bag with chips and I thought he would throw it. But to my surprise he grabbed the bag. stood up of his bed and walked over to me.

I leaned against the end of Riku's bed and I had still a little space next to me that was empty until now.
