(Unspecified time after Chapter 6)

(Message to Animation-4-All: I've been doing this while sick cause I am bored outta my mind and this helps me relax believe it or not, so if it sucks I'm so sorry)

"Luz, hurry up! The others are waiting." Amity said while putting her coat on.

Today was a free day for the married couple so they decided to meet their friends at this outdoor dinner in town. This time however Vee and Masha would be joining them. Masha had been wanting to hang out in Boiling Isles since the wedding but wanted to do it when everyone was available. Also, they would be joined by Skara, Boscha, and Cat. No one had an issue with those three joining them but there was an ulterior motive for that.

Luz had just finished getting ready and was coming out of the bathroom. "I would have been ready sooner if you didn't hog the bathroom for an hour" she teased.

Amity smirked at her human, "I wanna look good for my wife!"

"Well, mission accomplished," Luz said as she wrapped her arms around Amity's waist and kissed the tip of her nose. "Shall we?"

Amity nodded, "Yes we shall!"

Luz and Amity left the campus and made their way to the hangout spot. The couple walked together hand in hand just enjoying each other's company. The walk took about thirty minutes before they arrived. It didn't take long until they saw their friends sitting at the table. Masha was sitting next to Vee with Vee in her snake form with her head on Masha's shoulder. Hunter was next to Willow and beside her was Skara and both she and Willow were looking at something on a piece of paper together. Next to Skara was Boscha who had her forehead on the table. Finally, Cat was next to Gus both not looking at each other with their faces flushed.

Masha saw them both out of the corner of their eye. "Hey! The love birds are here!"

"You have no room to talk!" Luz teased as she and Amity walked up to the table and took their respective seats.

"How was your trip?" Amity asked, seeing that this was the first time they saw Vee and Masha since they went to New York, "How did your family like Vee?"

"Oh they loved her," Masha replied, "How could they not?"

"Did you tell them what Vee is?" Willow asked.

Masha shook their head, "No, I don't think they are ready for that."

"I had to stay in my human form the entire time, which I know drove Masha crazy," Vee informed, "They like cuddling my snake form, they say it's comforting."

"Hey, I love cuddling you regardless!"

Vee just giggled at her partner.

Luz looked over to Boscha who had her head on the table the entire time. "Hey Boscha, how are you?"

Boscha lifted her head and looked at Luz and Luz saw that Boscha had huge bags under all three of her eyes

"Oh...Boscha…you look…"

"Terrible?" Boscha said finishing Luz's sentence.

Luz rubbed the back of her neck, "I wasn't gonna say it like that, but…..yeah. Sorry!!!"

Boscha just waved it off and put her head back on the table. "It's fine."

"You're still punished for missing those two weeks aren't you?" Amity asked with concern.

Boscha nodded

Skara put her hand on Boscha's back, "She only has two more days to go, and she's taking it with no complaints and I am so proud of her!"

Boscha weakly smiled, closed her eyes, and sat her head on her girlfriend's shoulder.

"You know you could have just stayed home and slept." Willow said, "You didn't have to come…"

"I know," Boscha groaned. " But Skara and I have barely been anywhere together since we started dating."

Skara wrapped her arm around Boscha and held her closer, "It's ok hun, don't feel bad. When this punishment is over we'll make up for it"

"Sounds good, but let's talk about that later.…." Boscha lowly muttered

As much as both of them wanted to talk about this they both figured this would make it a bit awkward to talk about in front of everyone else.

"Hey Skara, what were you and Willow looking at earlier?" Amity asked, changing the subject.

Willow pulled the piece of paper back out and showed it to Amity, "Some wedding ideas that me, Emira, and Viney made last night."

Amity looked through the paper, "Have you guys decided on a date yet?"

"Not yet." Hunter replied, "We are thinking sometime over the summer but nothing is set in stone yet."

Masha looked over to Gus and Cat, noticing that they hadn't said a word, "What about you two?"

This question caught them both off guard.

"What about us!?" They both said at the same time, blushing.

"You two work together right?"

"Oh!" Cat replied, "Sorta, Gus is technically training me to be a teacher."

"Hey, you'll be getting to teach your own class soon," Gus said with a bittersweet tone, "That's great!"

"Y-Yeah" Cat replied, "Great…"

Masha and Luz looked at each other and Luz simply nodded at them.

"So," Masha said, "Are we all still on for tomorrow?"

"What's tomorrow?" Skara asked.

Luz started talking. "This time in Gravesfield every year there is a big fair that comes to town and for the last few years we all get together and go have fun!"

Masha grabbed Vee's hand, "I asked Vee out at the one we went to two years ago!"

"A human world fair?!" Cat said enthusiastically, "That sounds fun!"

"Unfortunately we won't be able to make it this year…." Amity replied.

Luz nodded, "Yeah, we got stuff to do tomorrow."

"Same." Hunter added, "Me and Willow still got wedding stuff to go over."

Gus frowned hearing everyone having to cancel a yearly event they do, "That sucks, guess I'll just make class plans."

"You can still come with us," Vee said.

"I don't wanna be a third wheel," Gus replied to Vee, not wanting to make Vee and Masha's date awkward.

Willow looked at Luz and Luz nodded at her.

"Hey I have an idea," Willow said, "Why not you and Cat go together? I know she has always wanted to go to the Human realm."

Gus's face turned redder than Amity normally does when she blushes, "W-What?!"

"I-I don't know," Cat replied, also turning red, "I don't wanna trouble you, Gus."

"N-N-No!" Gus exclaimed, "I don't mind going with you if you want to go."

Cat's face turned even redder, "W-W-Well if you're sure then, Ok! That sounds super fun! I've never been to the human world before. I have no idea what to wear or what to expect!"

"Don't worry Cat," Willow exclaimed, "Come over to my house tonight and I'll tell you everything you need to know, and Luz can bring you some clothes from the human world, first thing in the morning! Right, Luz?"

"Yeah, totally!"

"Thanks, you two! I better go call my family and tell them I'll be home late tonight" Cat said as she got up to make the call.

Hunter looked over to Gus who was speechless since Cat said she would go. "You Ok?"

The question snapped Gus out of his thoughts, "Uh y-yeah, I'll be right back..."

Gus didn't think he would inadvertently ask his crush out on and date if he could even call it that. Either way, he had a lot of emotions going on so he needed to step away for a second. After he got up the rest of the table watched him leave.

Is he far enough away?" Luz asked Hunter

"Yeah," Hunter replied.

"Oh yeah, baby! The plan worked!" Luz exclaimed, holding up her fist.

"It worked like a charm!" Willow added.

Boscha looked at everyone and was extremely confused, "Plan? What plan?"

Amity looked over to Skara, "You didn't tell her?"

"She fell asleep while I was explaining it," Skara replied with a small laugh.

Amity started to explain, "Last night Willow sent a message out to everyone saying we should use this year's fair to try and get Gus and Cat together."

"So you guys don't have things you need to do tomorrow?" Boscha asked, still confused.

Willow shook her head, "Nope! We just used that as an excuse to get them alone.

"But since this is Cat's first time in the human world one of us needs to go with them to make sure nothing bad happens" Vee explained, "Also to tell the rest of the group if the plan works out in the end."

"Which is why me and Vee are still going!" Masha added, "But how did you guys know that Cat would accept?"

"Skara told us that Cat had a crush on Gus" Hunter answered, "And Gus told us he had a crush on her.

Amity shook her head smiling, "How can they both be so oblivious to each other's feelings?"

Luz shrugged her shoulders, "No idea."

After that, the entire group just stared at the married couple.

"What?" Luz asked, wondering why everyone was staring at her and Amity.

"Are you being serious right now?" Boscha asked.

"What do you mean?" Amity replied.

Willow rubbed her temples, "Oh my Titan."

(The next day)

Today was the day of the annual fair in Gravesfield and Cat was at Willow's house waiting for Luz to come with the clothes. While they were waiting Willow was giving Cat advice about what to do when she goes to the human realm.

"Hey, girls!" Luz yelled, busting into the room carrying three bags, "I brought about 10 different outfits for you to try!"

Cat looked at the human with a surprised expression, "How did you get all those clothes?"

"I asked my Mom to take me to a small store in town to get you some human clothes. It was the same store we went to get everyone else some clothes when we all got stuck there"

'"How did you convince Camila to buy all those?" Willow asked.

Luz smirked, "A girl has her ways."

This "way" Luz had was telling her mom that she was trying to set Gus up with a girl. Which Camila immediately agrees to.

"You didn't have to do this for me, Luz," Cat said feeling a little bad.

Luz waved it off, "Don't worry about it, now let's get started."

Willow knew what Luz was thinking, "Montage?"

Luz smiled and nodded in response and Cat had no idea what Willow meant by "montage".

Meanwhile, Gus was waiting at the portal with Hunter. Gus was nervous, not only was this the first time he was guiding a witch in the human realm but it was his crush who he was guiding, still completely unaware that his friends planned this. His nerves were high and it was showing on his face.

Hunter noticed this and placed his hand on Gus's shoulder, "Calm down Gus."

Gus took a deep breath and let it out, "I'm calm, It will be ok." He told not only Hunter but himself.

"Look, don't let this kill your nerves. Just let whatever happens happen naturally and don't think too much about it," Hunter said, trying to give his friend some advice.

"Hey..." They heard a voice say from behind them

They turned to see Cat wearing a long purple skirt with a plain white tee with a star in the center and a black coat. This causes Gus's face to turn red with amazement and adoration.

"Oh my Titan, you're gorgeous," Gus says to Cat, amazed. He immediately blushes realizing that he just said his thoughts out loud.

Cat blushed even harder than Gus, "Thanks..."

"Ok, you two. Let's get going." Luz interjected looking at her penstagram, "Vee said she and Masha are waiting for you two outside the portal, you want me to go through with you?"

That's okay Luz, I got this!" Gus replied as the portal opened.

Gus and Cat started walking towards the portal but Cat stopped before they could enter.

"You Ok?" Gus asked.

"I'm… just nervous about going to another world," Cat replied.

Gus held his hand out to her, "Don't be, I promise you'll be ok. I'll be right beside you."

"O-Ok!" Cat took Gus's hand and the two walked through the portal.

"Have fun, you crazy kids!" Luz yelled as they went to the portal

(In the human world)

The two arrived in the human world with Vee and Masha waiting for them.

"Finally everyone's here!" Masha said, "You all ready?"

Everyone nodded and got in Masha's car and went to the fair with Masha driving, Vee in the passenger seat, and Gus and Cat in the back. Cat was looking out the window looking at all sorts of things that she had only read about.

"Hey Cat," Vee said, getting her attention, "Did anyone tell you what to do?"

Cat nodded, "Yeah. Hide my ears and stay with one of you at all times and some other things."

Masha looked at her through the rearview mirror, "Be careful, I know there are some dangerous things where you're from, but there are some weirdos here. And they're not as friendly, respectful, or understanding as Luz."

"I'll be fine, as long as I remember everything Luz and Willow told me."

The car started to slow down, "Well get ready to put that info to use because we're here!"

All four got out of the car and Cat was in awe of what she saw. Yes, the Boiling Isles has carnivals and fairs but this one was different. It was a lot bigger and had bright lights everywhere.

"Oh wow!" Cat clamored,

"It's amazing isn't it?" Gus asked

"Very!"

"We need to get these two alone together…." Masha whispered to Vee

"I got it" Vee whispered back, "Hey Masha can we go on the Ferris wheel first? Vee asked trying to find an excuse to get away from Cat and Gus

Masha immediately knew what their girlfriend was doing, "Of course! You two gonna be ok on your own" they asked, trying not to sound too obvious.

Both got more nervous and the idea of being alone together, but Gus thought this was his best opportunity to tell Cat how he felt.

"Yeah" Gus answered, "We'll be fine

Masha and Vee left the two and proceeded to the Ferris wheel

"Ready?" Gus asked

"Totally!" Cat answered

(Author's notes: Omg!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry for not updating this story. I've been working on Luz's mindscape and I got sick and was in the hospital for about 5 days so needless to say I have been struggling to complete this.)
