Kairi pov.
I slowly followed him to his room and my heart was pounding again. Why all the sudden does he wanna talk? It's not like he was just kissing a girl and acting all like a jerk all over again. Is he gonna tell me he hates me, again? Just like he did when I just met him.
We arrived and he pulled out his keys. I crossed my arms and watched how he opened the door for us. He turned around slowly and he held his hand up. signing that I could go. I walked past him, locking our eyes and I saw his cheek heat up a little. I sat on Riku's bed, Not wanting to be on his. He closed the door and turned the lock around. "Just to be sure no one can bother us." He said when I raised my eyebrow. I nodded and he walked in front of me sitting on his own bed.
I started to play with my fingers, feeling the tears coming again but I didn't want to cry. Not in front of the problem. Sora didn't say a thing either but I could see he was looking for the right words. "So, new girlfriend already, huh?" I said and I felt the guilt already growing. "Not really." He looked away. Scratching his head while he still tried to find the right words to say. "Friends with benefit?" "Kairi, I'm sorry." He said now looking at me and my heart skipped a little. "Sorry for kissing me?" I asked. "No, for avoiding you, for kissing Selphie so I could forget you but it only made it worse." He started to have tears in his eyes. "i'm just scared." This took me by surprise. Why was he scared? "For what?"
"For feelings. I don't want to get hurt like I did with Xion and I know you're scared too because of Zack but i don't want to ruin what we have." He crouched in front of me and grab both my hands in his. Now finally facing me with his big blue eyes. My body was heating up because of his touch. "Kairi, I have feelings for you and I know you have them too." He whispered. "I have seen how you looked at me for the past few weeks and I was stupid for kissing her thinking it would make things better." He laid his hand on my cheek and I rested my face in it. "I get it if you don't want anything to do with me anymore but I like you and i want you." His face was turning red a little and oh my. I wanted to kiss him. I wanted to feel him. To have him as close as possible.
He was waiting for me to say something but I was not feeling like talking. Well not with words.
"Kairi..." His voice was still a small whisper and god he was doing things already. I could wake up to that voice everyday or look at his face for the longest time ever. I placed my hands on his shoulders still not saying a word but I think he already knows what will come because his eyes started to close softly.
Screw softly. I crashed my lips on his and he kissed me back with the same force. He wrapped his arms around my body and he pulled me on his lap while still sitting on the ground. I kissed him with everything I had. I wanted to tell him I like him too. That I want us to be together and that i need him, now. His hands went up and down my back and I felt goosebumps all over where his fingers left a trail. I grabbed his hair softly and started to play with them, lightly pulling it. This made him open his mouth a little and I took this time so i could slip my tongue inside. He squeezed my thighs a little and I was feeling like everything would be alright.
We stayed like this for a good few minutes before I felt something poking me. I pulled back a little so I could look in his eyes and they are filled with lust. Just like they did last time. But now no one would disturb us. He started to lift me up and he laid me on his bed. leaning above me. He never broke the kiss and his hand went under my shirt. Leaving a spark feeling where his finger touched. "Kairi, I want you." He said moving his lips to my neck. He kissed me there and my hands started to lift his shirt up. He pulled away and pulled off his shirt and when he looked at me again I was heating up. Seeing his torso with nothing on it made me a little shy. He was lean not to much but just right. He grabbed the bottom of my shirt and lifted it up. Leaving me in my bra and skirt. Why did I think it was a good idea to wear a skirt today. "You look so beautiful." He kissed the skin above the bra and did the same on the other side. "You're making me crazy Kairi." He kissed my collarbone and I was heating up more and more. He pushed himself up a little and his eyes met mine. "Can I have you?" He stopped waiting for my answer. "Yes." He smiled and started to kiss me slow. "Well, i don't need to hear that again." Oh boy...
It was now 5pm. I sat at the table in the cafeteria waiting for everyone else. Sora went to Selphie to tell her that he doesn't want to be with her and that he only did it to distract himself. "Kairi!" Namine came as fast as she could over to me and hugged me. "I was so worried for you today. How are you feeling? What did you do?" I hugged her back and started to giggle. "Wait, you're not sad anymore?" She said breaking the hug. Roxas and Riku sat at the table and said a quick hi. "No not really." I said and she tilted her head. "How? Kairi you were crying your eyes out this very morning about a guy that kissed you last week and ditched you. Why are you happy? Not that I don't want you to be happy but it doesn't make sense." She said. Poor Nam she's so confused. "Hey guys, sorry i'm late, I needed to take care of something." Sora said while sitting next to me. "Sora, how can you just sit next to Kairi and pretend nothing has happened between you?" Namine face turned to Sora's. "What?" He said with a confused look on his face. "What did Kairi tell you?" "Nothing, she is just all happy and now you're sitting next to her like nothing is going on." Sora and I made eye contact and Namine face was now red because of anger. "Chill Nam, it's not a big deal." He said and Namine let out a small hmph. "Not a big deal? Can I remind you that YOU kissed SELPHIE in front of everyone this morning, while you kissed Kairi about a week ago. You both didn't talk and now you're sitting next to each other like nothing is going on anymore, and Sora we don't wanna know that you're late because you're doing Selphie." Namine was pissed and I finally understood why. "Omg Namine! Wait this is on me. I forgot to tell you something." I said and her eyes moved between Sora and me. "We talked." I said and she let out a big sigh. "Kairi, tell me everything please."
"We talked, and now we're.."
"OMG YOU'RE DATING." Namine said now hugging me again. She was so happy again. "I'm so happy for you." She said but turned back to Sora. "You better never do that again, or I will hurt you." Sora nodded and she smiled at him. "Good." "Congrats guys." Roxas said now patting Sora on the back and Riku pouted. "So no more hugs with Kairi for me?" I wanted to open my mouth but he interrupted me again. "Nah man, I'm happy for both of you." Riku hugged me and kissed me on the head and hold his fist up to Sora. "Please don't hurt her or else I will kill you in your sleep, oh and don't have sex when I'm next to you in the room or else I need to join." Riku smirked at his own words and I rolled my eyes. "Just kidding, sweetheart." "Guys, we're not dating yet." Sora said. "I still need to take her on a date." He added
"So can we grab some food? i'm starving." I said and everyone agreed. I walked over to the counter and grabbed some pasta with red sauce, a glass with lemonade and some tiramisu. Sora had some pizza and Roxas, Namine and Riku the noodles. "But one question, Did you end things with Selphie?" Roxas asked and Sora nodded. "Yes, and she was not very happy about it even though that we never dated in the first place." he took a bite and Roxas nodded. "Sora you're a real heartbreaker." Riku said. "Well i was stupid for kissing her in the first place but I was not feeling myself." Sora gave me a small smile. "But I came to my sentence at the right time." He kissed me on the cheek. "Ahw." Namine said and my head was turning red again. "Everything's still fine in the end." She said happy and i nodded.
We were chatting and eating our food and everything was just fine until we heard a voice call. "Sora." Selphie shouted and started to walk over to us. Sora grabbed my hand and turned around towards her. "Yes?" He said with a firm voice. "Did you really ditch me for her? The lair? The whore? The trator?" She said while looking at me. "Selphie, back off." He said. "I don't know what you're seeing in her but I'm so much better than her. I look better, I kiss better and i know for sure I'm way better than her in bed." She said and everyone around us started to look at us.
"Selphie we were never a thing and I'm sorry I used you this morning. I should have never done that." Sora said with a sad look on his face. He was really feeling sorry what he did. "Well, I'm not gonna let it end here and I will prove to you that you will reject this." Selphie said and walked away before one of us could say anything. "Sora why are you always getting yourself the crazy chicks. Even I ditched her for a good reason." Riku said while chewing on his food. "Because I'm stupid and scared." sora said laying his face into his hands. "Well whatever she's planning I hope it won't be super crazy." Sora said.
Like things couldn't be worse I heard the laugh of Rikku and Xion. I turned my head to look at them and I froze. Selphie was sitting with them and yes they all looked at us. I met eyes with Rikku and she pushed her chair back so she could get up. She is now walking toward me. Not this again.
"Hey Sora? Right? Well I don't like it when you hurt a friend of mine." She said while evilly smirking at me. "Rikku, tell Selphie i'm not interested and that I made myself clear." He said sharply but she started to laugh. "Oh Sora you will reject it once I tell the whole school about it with some extra touches." She said "You will end like little miss perfect over here." She was now looking at me. "Rikku, it must have worked at your home place but over here we help Kairi when ever we can and we don't believe a single word you're saying. And one day the school will see what for evil woman you are once the mask is gone." Riku said while standing up. "And how are you so sure about that?" She said eying him up and down. "I have my ways." He whispered in her ear. I saw her blush a little and I was worried for what Riku was planning. "Well mister handsome, Let's meet later tonight." "We should." He said while walking away. Rikku also went back to her friends.
"I sure hope he knows what he's doing or else I feel sorry for him." Roxas said and we all agreed.
