August 7th, 2044 - 08:00:01, after two days under the care and guidance of the Latin American Federation, Logan is well-rested and halfway done with fitting in. Upon reporting to The Safe Haven's Command Building, he receives his first mission.
Logan: Good morning, sir, ma'am, fine ladies.
Cora: Good morning, Nightfall.
Sonja: Good morning, Colonel.
Logan: So, you familiar with the perimeters surrounding The Elysium Checkpoint?
Prime Grandmaster: Yes, but we cannot seem to get a closer look at it. They keep shooting down our recon planes and choppers.
Logan: Recon planes and choppers? Don't tell me the Federation's drone fleet went down with your Navy.
Prime Grandmaster: Unfortunately, it has. By Americans playing with our LOKI Satellites.
Logan: Well, unless my former countrymen are suicidal enough to send a LOKI danger close fire mission, it seems we can hit it the old fashioned way. I know The Elysium Checkpoint consists of a staging area near the Pacific Ocean, one armored inside perimeter and one light outside perimeter, but they can still change. I'll conduct some special recon on the three target locations to make things certain. Can you give me your best Phantom strike team?
Prime Grandmaster: There are no more Phantoms, Colonel. They died along with Rorke and... and... my sister, Prime Princessa. And those who are going through selection are barely meeting the standards.
Logan: So we really are scraping the bottom of the barrel, huh? I can see now why you need me, even without your elaborate brainwashing procedures. No offense.
Prime Grandmaster: *sighs* None taken. Can you still conduct the recon mission?
Logan: Of course I can. If you'll let me leave for the Atacama Desert now, I should be back before nightfall.
Prime Grandmaster: Go ahead, then we will assault those defenses on your word.
Logan: Roger that, sir. *salutes*
Nightfall: Hmm, combined LAF flag patches with the U.K. flag and the Chinese flag. Makes me wonder who the fine ladies are and where they came from. That's worth digging into, right? *clears throat* Okay, I can do that later. Right now, in the words of Maverick, let's try not to get fired on the first day.
15:51:04, after confirming the opposition that awaits in the Outside Perimeter, the Inside Perimeter, and the Staging Area of The Elysium Checkpoint, Logan returns to base and shares his recon data. However, Mother Wolf appears to not be so pleased with Prime Grandmaster for some reason.
Mother Wolf: General Almagro, we talked about this already. Nightfall, is our only chance to get the American forces off our shores. It is the least we can do.
Prime Grandmaster: I still do not trust him with my army. The times have told us that anyone who is not from this continent is not trustworthy.
Mother Wolf: Oh, so that includes me?
Prime Grandmaster: I did not mean you too.
Cora: Nightfall.
Logan: Hey, Cora, Sonja. *salutes* Got us some clarity. It seems they're pretty confident with LOKI's ability to keep us back that they didn't bother to make changes in The Elysium Checkpoint. Let's give them false hope.
Prime Grandmaster: So what do you suggest?
Logan: I say a stealth assault mission to clear out the Outside Perimeter and a massive assault to wipe out the Inside Perimeter. While the Staging Area will be scrambling to contain the situation, we will be striking. Which means time will be short and we will need a lot of manpower and firepower. Costly, but it will get the United States Military out of South America for good.
Prime Grandmaster: Okay... I... I... I thi—
Mother Wolf: What Prime Grandmaster is trying to say is we think it is a great idea. It seems some complicated problems do have the simplest solutions.
Logan: Yeah, we're also lucky that the rest of the U.S. Armed Forces are still stateside or this'll never work.
Mother Wolf: Understood. So, for the Outside Perimeter, what do you need?
Logan: Some good, stealthy gear and at least three of the Federation Army's best infantrymen with me.
Mother Wolf: Stealth equipment is approved but not the infantrymen, as even the best are not good enough for a task like this. Believe me. So Cora, Sonja and I will go with you.
Logan: *tilts head* Thank you for the recommendation, ma'am.
Mother Wolf: *nods* Time to change out of that sandy scout uniform, Nightfall. Cora, Sonja, take the Colonel to the Phantoms' Room. Take whatever you need.
Sonja: Yes, ma'am. *smiles* Follow us if you will, sir.
Logan: Lead the way. *salutes* Thank you, ma'am.
Prime Grandmaster: You cannot be serious, Mother Wolf!
Mother Wolf: I am, Aurelio. You may not trust Nightfall, but I do. And just to get rid of your paranoia, I will go personally to confidently tell you what happens. But this will be the first AND last time. So you better get it out of your head or start getting into the field like you used to, "Phantom".
In the Phantoms' Room, Logan goes for a dark, evil version of himself with a black and red color scheme, and combined U.S./Latin American Federation flag patches. To show off his new allegiance and to mock his previous one and the Ghosts.
Then he chooses from the Federation Special Operations Phantoms' inventory, which is more improved and diverse compared to the Federation Army's armory. Upon leaving his room, he unintentionally impresses Cora and Sonja.
Nightfall: You wanna see me as the bad guy, Merrick, Keegan, Torch, Grim? Watch.
Sonja: *nods* Impressive setup, Nightfall.
Logan: Serious and sexy. I like that, Sonja.
Cora: Looking awesome, Nightfall.
Logan: Feeling awesome, Cora.
Mother Wolf: I have my Silent Hawk waiting for us. Come.
Logan: Right behind you, Mother Wolf.
22:57:44, Wolfpack Team lands two miles west of the Outside Perimeter. After the hike, Logan, Mother Wolf, Sonja and Cora get to work, with Prime Grandmaster watching via the General's vest camera.

The First Day
August 7th, 2044 - 23:15:05
Col. Logan 'Nightfall' Walker
Federation Special Operations Phantoms
Atacama Desert, Chile
--
Nightfall: A spec ops team with mostly female teammates? This should be interesting.
Mother Wolf: Alright, Nightfall, what is our strategy?
Logan: Me, ma'am?
Mother Wolf: Affirmative. You know this kind of work better than any of us, so you take the lead. We will follow.
Logan: Roger that. Listen up, ladies. Here's our Rules of Engagement. Once we hit the Outside Perimeter, we're cleared to kill all hostiles we can find as long as we don't break stealth. Suppressed weapons, blades and quiet, unarmed melee attacks only. When you clear a structure, quietly let us know over the comms. If you find sources of the alarms of the area, cut them off. The less functional sound systems, the better. Security right now should be light enough for us to slip in unnoticed and make our work easy. We need to keep it that way. If any alarm is raised because of us, the mission is over. The Inside Perimeter will drop down on us if that happens. Understood?
Mother Wolf: Understood.
Cora: Don't worry, we'll get it done.
Sonja: We've been delayed long enough. That ends today.
Logan: *nods* Weapons free, no alerts allowed. Move out.
With the ROE clarified, Wolfpack Team splits up to take down the entire Outside Perimeter. They raid tents, clear out armories, shoot up portable toilets, flank bunkers and knock out guard towers.
They would also find themselves working in pairs often. Logan and Mother Wolf, Mother Wolf and Cora, Sonja and Mother Wolf, Cora and Sonja, Logan and Cora, Logan and Sonja.
And they would breach and clear the last, but biggest, awning together. 50 minutes of quietly killing American Soldiers and Marines later, the Outside Perimeter falls and the Inside Perimeter does not have a clue.
[CZ BREN 2 fire]
Logan: That should be everyone.
Cora: So that's where the master alarm control is. Smart of them to keep it here.
Logan: I've triple-checked every structure we've swept before I got here, by the way. So don't worry about any surprises.
Mother Wolf: (off comms) So that is why you were five minutes behind schedule. Understandable. Time to call it in. (on comms) Prime Grandmaster, this is Wolfpack 1. The Outside Perimeter has fallen. I say again, the Outside Perimeter has fallen. You are cleared for Phase 2 of Operation Counter Defensive, over.
Prime Grandmaster: Roger that, Wolfpack 1. Did Nightfall try anything?
Mother Wolf: Other than taking five additional minutes to triple-check the AO for more hostiles, no. He did not try anything. He is on our side through and through. Are you inbound, over?
Prime Grandmaster: Negative, I will be in The Safe Haven for the duration of this operation. I hope you are right about this. We are commencing Phase 2 now. You can exfiltrate now or join the fight, it is your call. Prime Grandmaster, out.
With Phase 2 of Operation Counter Defensive starting in any minute, Logan, Mother Wolf, Sonja and Cora decide where to go and what to do next.
Mother Wolf: (on comms) (English) Copy all. Wolfpack 1, out. (off comms) (Russian) Fucking bitch. (English) Okay, I will be going back to The Safe Haven to deliver the footage of our time together in person. You three can go wherever you want and do whatever you want. Be seeing you when you return to base.
Nightfall: Copy, ma'am. Safe travels.
Cora: See you topside.
Sonja: Meet you there, ma'am.
Nightfall: Cora, Sonja, I'll be in Phase 2 hunting for some Ghosts or a challenge from U.S. Spec Ops teams, if you're wondering.
Cora: In that case, I'm going with you. Might need the tech support.
Sonja: I'm going too, might need more tech support. And your tactics are quite interesting. I'd like to see and learn more.
Logan: Solid copy, ladies. Come on, let's get to the front lines.
