Katniss Everdeen is the Mockingjay: the face of the Rebellion. But without Peeta, she knows that she could never go on. When Peeta is returned after his kidnapping by the Capitol, he isn't at all the same. He never recalls meeting her nor anything regarding the Rebellion. Its up to Katniss to bring him back to normal, while also deciphering friend from foe.

Madge Undersee, grief-stricken and fueled by the thirst for vengeance, emerges with fury in the wake of Katniss's death.
