Lulu's POV

After Logan was revealed to be alive a huge stress was off of both mine and Johnny's shoulders, we were finally free again. I confided in Johnny that I was anxious about going back to Port Charles, Johnny proposed we didn't go back. We moved into a three bedroom house on the outskirts of Manhattan, Johnny picked up a job as a bartender at one of the most fancy bars in the city and I decided to go back to school and finish my journalism degree, soon I discovered that I was pregnant with our first child. When I told Johnny he was so excited to be a father, he popped the question when I was about two months in and I said yes. About two months later we had the wedding at Central Park inviting our family and friends, my dad walking me down the aisle was a feeling like I'd never known. I chose Maxie to be my maid of honor and Spinelli was the best man. After our son Cameron was born things became tight, so I picked up a job at the bakery on fifth avenue. Luckily, I was a better baker than I was a cook. About a year later I welcomed another baby boy who we named Issac, and the year after that we welcomed our baby girl Ariana. Being a mom was the best feeling in the world, having a family I could call my own was a blessed feeling. I was blessed that Logan had chosen to leave us alone, the last I heard he was going back to the army. Now that you're all caught up, let's start the story.

That morning I woke up groggy, I could hear the laughter of my two boys... Ariana must still be sleeping. Johnny hadn't come home yet, it had been a late night for him. Johnny has told me a bachelor party had come in at the last minute and he couldn't turn away paying customers. With a sigh I swung my legs around and got to my feet, I frowned as I caught sight of my stomach in the mirror.

"God I'm fat." I grabbed the pudge that was my stomach, looking in the mirror.

Johnny's POV

After finally getting off at six that morning I trudged to my car, exhausted and began the drive home. My phone rang and I face palmed myself, looking at the caller ID. Claudia. Claudia was the last person I felt like talking to right now, or ever. Claudia had made her stance on Lulu known, I didn't care to argue with her. I immediately hit decline, before getting out of my car and walking into the house. I saw Issac and Cameron whispering to each other, this couldn't be good.

"Boys, what are you getting into?" I smirked.

"Daddy shhhh, we're trying to think of something to get mommy for her birthday." Cameron gave me a pointed look.

"I'll tell you what, I'll take you three out tomorrow and we can search for the perfect gift. Mommy will love anything you get her, I promise." I gave each of my son's a kiss on the forehead, before wandering into the kitchen. Lulu stood with her back to me, washing what was left of the dirty dishes.

"Hello light of my life." I wrapped my arms around her from behind, whispering in her ear.

"Hey baby, you sound tired." Lulu frowned putting down the sponge and turning around in my arms so she could look at me.

"I am but, I'm never too tired for you. Claudia called me again." I stifled a yawn.

"While that sentiment is nice, you need some sleep baby. You should return her call before she actually shows up here, I do not want to deal with your sister. Does your family even know that your mom is really alive?" Lulu sighed, a year after being in their house they moved into a five bedroom house. It turned out that Maria had been alive all those years just held captive, until she was able to finally escape. Maria had been living with them ever since Cameron was born.

"No, I'd like to keep it that way. Anthony is...still really dangerous. I can't risk my mother's life, I already lost her once. I'll call Claudia but, I won't like it." Johnny grumbled fumbling for his phone, putting it on speaker.

"Oh, so you do remember you have a family!" Claudia snipped, picking up on the first ring.

"You're lucky I called at all." Johnny mumbles.

"John, you sound like you're working yourself to death! What's that girl doing to you?" Claudia continues on, Lulu merely rolled her eyes.

"Claudia, Lulu is not only the mother of my children but she's my wife. Lulu is a woman which is more than I can say for you. I'm making an honest living so my family can have the things I didn't, happiness and love. I thought out of everyone you'd understand that but, I guess you didn't stick around for Anthony mentally abusing me all throughout my childhood. The bottom line is I'm fine. What do you want?* Johnny wanted to get off the phone as soon as possible.

"You know I'll never respect her, she's the one who stole you away from everything you've ever known. Come home, John. Please." Claudia sighed.

"I'm happy here, I'm sorry you're miserable but you won't bring me down with you." Johnny hung up the phone, annoyed.

"Claudia?" My mother spoke from behind us.

"Too much of Claudia." I nodded, leaning against the counter.

"I'm really content with our life here, I hope Claudia doesn't try to ruin that." Lulu sighed, turning the sink off.

"I'd doubt she would come here because her dislike for you is so strong. Claudia didn't even come to the wedding, did she?" Maria asked, trying to bring some peace.

"You're right, she didn't. Anthony didn't either." I agreed, crossing my arms.

"I've just gotten to the point where I don't put anything past Claudia." Lulu admitted.

"Let's worry about your birthday tomorrow." I smirked, changing the subject.

"Oh God, please don't make a big fuss Johnny." Lulu all but groaned.

"Look, the boys are the ones who brought it up to me! They're worried about getting you the perfect gift." I laughed at her.

"Johnny, I don't need stuff. I already have everything I want." Lulu presses on.

"You're getting presents and you're gonna like it!" I warned her.

"You're persistent, I'll give you that." Lulu presses her lips into a thin line in defeat.

"You're getting a birthday party too, I'm baking the cake tonight." My mom added, earning a smirk from me.

"You two are relentless. I give up." Lulu held her hands up in surrender.

"That's my girl." I smirked, giving her a kiss.
