It was the weekend once more, and while Lincoln would look forward to either going into work, and have some fun with his friends, those days were now behind him since he was busy taking care of his sisters and their needs or activities.

And his day started at 8 a.m. when he was woken up by Lana to take him to the junkyard to do some dumpster diving for the next few hours, before having to comeback and drop both Luan and Leni off at their jobs.

After that he promised to sit down and watch Lola during her karate practice for the next hour as she was doing this for not only a commercial she got signed up on, but also for her to 2nd black belt.

Once he was done with that, he had to pick up Luan and Lana from their respective locations.

"You're one lucky gal to get paid in not only money, but in leftovers" said Lincoln as he finished scarfing down the chocolate cake Luan brought home.

"What can I say, perks of being a party entertainer" said Luan, "Next time, ask if you can grab some extra cake" said Lola as she let Lincoln enjoyed the cake this time since he's been working hard since the morning.

"I promise" said Luan, "Right, well buckle up, we've got to pick Lana up next" said Lincoln as he made a b-line to the towns junkyard where he spotted Lana waiting out the gate with various car parts and a box filled with scrap junk.

"Had a good dumpster diving" asked Lincoln as he stepped out the family van, "Yeah, I was lucky to find some good stuff in case I've got to give either the family van or house a tune up" said Lana as Lincoln helped carried her things into the trunk.

"Just glad you're not dirty, or hurt, or in urgent need of a tetanus shot" said Lincoln as they finished loading in Lana's haul.

"Alright girls, we're gonna go catch up and watch the last of Lori's golf game, after which I'll drop you all off before I'll go pick Leni up" said Lincoln as the present sisters cheered in agreement.

It was the last 2 holes Lori was on, and she had a bit of a shaky game to say the least, but it was all about to change when she spotted her siblings finally coming to support her.

Stepping up to putt, Lori cleared her mind, and ignored everything and everyone around her, one distraction at a time, till all she could visualize was just her and hole, where she nailed a hole in one.

Even though this wasn't her best game, having her family there to support her made it all the better, as Lori left her game on a high note with her head held high.

"You did good out there Lori" praised Lincoln, "It wasn't my best game though" said Lori, "You can even say her game was subpar, ha-ha, get it" said Luan as everyone groaned.

"Regardless, how about I treat you girls to frosty chocolate milkshakes" said Lincoln as the girls cheered in agreement.

Walking his way to the snack shack, Lincoln ordered the promised desserts to treat his sisters, but just as he turned heel, he accidentally bumped into someone, resulting in a large mess.

"Oh god, I'm so sorry" said Lincoln, "It's fine, I was actually on my way back home" said Carol before she realized that she was talking to Lincoln.

"Lincoln!?" exclaimed Carol, "Yeah… I'm sorry miss…" said Lincoln as he was drawing a blank towards her name, even though she definitely looked familiar.

"Carol, Carol Pingry remember, we knew each other whenever you were at the same events me and Lori had together" said Carol, "Oh, I thought you looked familiar, how's it going" asked Lincoln.

"Good, I'm doing good, trying to enjoy my senior year to the fullest you know" said Carol, "I get you, and once again I'm sorry for making a mess on you" said Lincoln.

"It's fine really, although if you really feel bad about it, maybe we can meet up some other time and just hang out" said Carol as she tried to play a cool beauty.

"Just hang out, huh?" asked Lincoln as he cocked a brow, "Yeah, it just be something casual, you know, nothing formal or fancy" said Carol.

Taking a minute to consider her offer, it would be nice to just hang out with someone and just be able to relax from his newly chaotic life, plus it be fine since both are adults, so even if someone were to accuse them of dating, it be legal, not that Lincoln was thinking about dating her mind you.

"Ok, I'll give you a call when I'm free next time" said Lincoln, "Great, so it's a date, I mean…" said Carol as she fumbled on her words a little as she got Lincoln to chuckle.

Just as they were about to exchange contact information, they were interrupted by Lori suddenly appearing and suddenly yanking Lincoln by the ear.

"Ow! Lori what the he- ow!" yelled Lincoln as Lori had a firm grip on his ears, "You were taking forever, also why are you hanging with Carol" Lori said in a hushed voice almost as if Lincoln was in trouble.

"Hi Lori" Carol said to break the ice, "Carol" Lori said with a sneer as she eyed her formal rival.

"Come on Lincoln, the girls are getting impatient" said Lori as she dragged Lincoln away by his ear as he continued to cry in pain.

"Call me" shouted Carol as this seemed to anger Lori more as she took her anger out on her brother by pulling on his ears tighter and harder before they got to the family van.

"Come on Lori, let go of me already, we're already in the parking lot" said Lincoln as Lori finally obliged.

"Jeez, that really hurt" whined Lincoln as he felt his ear, "Lincoln are you alright" asked Lana.

"I'll be fine, but Lori seriously what gives" demanded Lincoln, "Hmpf" said Lori as she turned her head away.

"Seriously Lincoln, what did you do to upset Lori" asked Lola, "I did nothing, I chatted with Carol Pingry after accidentally spilling the frosty chocolate milkshakes" said Lincoln.

"Makes sense, I'd do the same thing if you spilled the frosty chocolate milkshakes like you promised you get us" said Lola as she and Lana were in agreement, completely missing the point how Lincoln was chatting up with Carol, a tidbit that didn't go unnoticed by Luan.

Later

After having a nice dinner consisting of the poor man's tomato soup and grilled cheeses, the girls left to have an emergency sister meeting.

"I like to thank you girls for coming to this emergency sister meeting, as insisted on by Luan, now before we get started, Lisa would you like to read back the minutes to our last meeting" said Lori.

"At 9 o'clock sharp we gathered hear last month from our previous emergency sister meeting, at 9:01 I began reading back our minutes like last time…" said Lisa, "Let's skip the boring stuff already" said Lynn.

"Why do I even bother" said Lisa as she toss the notes containing the minutes overhand into the waste bin.

"Alright Luan, you insisted we have this emergency sister meeting, what's on your mind" asked Lori, "Well it's about your reaction towards Lincoln earlier, and how he was talking with Carol" said Luan.

"Wait Lincoln was talking with Carol" asked Leni, "Yeah, and even though we have no idea what they were talking about, Lori seemed peeved about it" said Luan.

"You also forgot to mention that Lincoln did talk to her after dropping those frosty chocolate milkshakes" said Lana, "Not relevant to the story" said Luan.

"The heck it isn't, you guys got frosty chocolate milkshakes without us" said Lynn, "Ignoring her dude, Lori you've got to let this rivalry between you and Carol go" said Luna.

"What rivalry, Carol hasn't been a rival of mine since our parents died, and she now looks at me with sympathy which is so much more infuriating" said Lori, "So you want someone to always have a one up on you in life in milestone and life achievements so you can feel bad about yourself" Lisa asked sarcastically.

"N-no!" said Lori as her cheeks turned red in frustration and embarrassment, "Then what, are you trying to get the last laugh, the final clap, cause trust me I get that and totally support you" said Lynn.

"I mean not exactly, but I wouldn't say no" said Lori, "Then pray tell what do you want" asked Lucy.

"I-I don't know, and you know what this sibling meeting is officially over, now all of you out of my room" ordered Lori as everyone began to leave the room with a jeer.

"Not you Leni, you sleep here" said Lori as she rested her hand on her head out of frustration, "Oh, sorry" said Leni as she came back in, while all the sisters prepared to turn into the night as Lincoln was just finish watching a show from down stairs.

"R3DD13, make a list for things I've got to buy for the house before we start the week day, a roll of village size TP, two 48 packs of frozen waffles, a 2 liter bottle of grape juice…" listed off Lincoln as he began to turn the TV off.

"Hey Lincoln, how you doing bro" asked Luna, "I'm good thank you. Now where was I? Ah yes, 20 dollars' worth of dried pasta" said Lincoln.

"Mind if we talk" asked Luna, "Oh sure, R3DD13 come back to me later" said Lincoln as his little companion complied with a beep before running to the kitchen and preparing Lincoln a cup of lavender dream time tea.

"What's up Loony tunes" asked Lincoln, "Just wanting to ask how you feel, I mean Luan told us how Lori pulled your ear for talking to Carol" said Luna.

"Yeah, that hurt like the dickens, but I'll live" said Lincoln, "Glad to hear that, though you should know that Lori didn't mean to" said Luna.

"What you mean" asked Lincoln, "I mean, they were rivals for a long time, but recently something changed that's got her more upset with Carol, so I don't think she meant to take it out on you entirely" said Luna.

"I do recall them being rivals since they're days as Blue Belle Scouts, and have been up to Lori losing second place to her as Prom Queen. But what changed" asked Lincoln.

"According to Lori, they haven't been rivals since mom and dad died, and well it's been bugging her, and she doesn't know why" said Luna.

"I see" said Lincoln as things were slowly making sense now.

"Well, this has been insightful Luna, thank you" said Lincoln, "Any time bro, though I must admit me and most of the girls are cheesed how you'd tried to secretly treat only a few of our sisters to frosty chocolate milkshakes behind our back" said Luna.

"If I promise to treat all of you next time, will you girls forgive me" said Lincoln, "Sounds like a deal dude" said Luna as she went up stairs to prepare for bed as R3DD13 came back with Lincoln's tea.

"Was this the last cup" asked Lincoln as R3DD13 beeped in confirmation, "Add lavender dream time tea to the list, along with a tandem foot bath, and Gas X powder" said Lincoln as he began to ascend the stairs towards Lori and Leni's room.

"Lori, get your butt out here, we still got to talk about your attitude from earlier young lady" ordered Lincoln as he knocked on her door as he got no response.

"Alright I tried doing it the nice way. Lynn, front and center girl!" shouted Lincoln as Lynn appeared before Lincoln in a split second as she stood straight whilst saluting him.

"Sir" shouted Lynn, "Break down the door" said Lincoln as Lynn ran back into her room and came out with a shovel with intention of going to town on Lori and Leni's door, but was stopped last minute by Lincoln.

"I meant with your brute strength, and I mean seriously where'd you get this shovel from anyway" asked Lincoln, "I'll take that back thank you" said Lucy as she went and grabbed her shovel back.

"One problem at a time, Lynn break down the door" ordered Lincoln as Lynn kicked the door open and dived head first into Lori where after a minute of struggling, she came back to Lincoln with Lori being restrained by a scrunchie.

"Thank you Lynn I've got things from here" said Lincoln as he bent down and proceeded to carry Lori down stairs.

"Lincoln this is like so unfair" grunted Lori as she struggled to break free, "What's unfair is how in spite of how much I lift and carry at work, you're easily chewing my back out" said Lincoln.

"Did you just call me fat" asked Lori with daggers pointed at the back of Lincoln's head, "I said no thing you little chonker, now pipe down, we're gonna have a chat" said Lincoln as he yeeted Lori onto the couch.

"Rude much" said Lori as she slowly began to sit up straight, "What was rude was you're attitude towards me earlier today, and for what, over a rivalry that's now dead" said Lincoln.

"Shut up, you don't understand" said Lori, "Get off your high horse little sis, I know you and Carol have had a rivalry since you were tweens, but now things are different these days, where Carol is no longer competitive and is trying to be courteous towards you, all the while you look like a jerk to not only your friends and family, but probably society as well given your attitude towards her" said Lincoln.

"But the question remains why though, why be a jerk to Carol" asked Lincoln as Lori sat gritting her teeth.

"You want to know why, then fine I'll tell you, I'm mad at Carol because she looks down on me with sympathy, because poor little ol' me lost both her parents in the worst traffic accident in American history, and not like an equal who'd pour her own sweat, blood, and tears in various competitions to out win her, and claim my spot as the better woman, so for her to suddenly disregard those things and go about living a happy young adult life and pretend our rivalry didn't matter or happen really pisses me off" said Lori as she needed to catch her breath after venting out on her brother.

"Maybe your rivalry is over, and things between you won't be the same, but you should really look at this as an opportunity to bury the hatchet and become friends" said Lincoln.

"Friends? Why would I be friends with her, she's my rival, and rivals don't automatically become friends like those Japanese anime's you watch" said Lori.

"Probably the most accurate thing about anime is the rivalry chemistry, but that's besides the point, the point is, you don't have to be friends with Carol, but I think it's better if you let this anger go and if you must, talk to her about it as civil young adults, and work your differences from there" said Lincoln.

"Come on Lori, will you promise to not be a jerk to Carol from now on, at least do it for me and the ear you pulled" said Lincoln as he got Lori to crack a smile.

"All right you big weenie, I'll bury the hatchet, now can you undo the scrunchie off my wrist" said Lori, "Yeah, hold still" said Lincoln.

"There we go, now it's off to bed with you, I've got another long day ahead of me" ordered Lincoln, "Alright Lincoln, though I gotta ask, what were you and Carol talking about" asked Lori.

"Nothing special, she just asked me if I wanted to hang out some time, just me and her" said Lincoln as this got Lori to snap back and look at her brother.

Hearing her brother scold and lecture her is fine by all accounts, hearing him that she needs to make nice with Carol was a compromise she can swallow, but hearing her wanting to hang out with her brother really irked her.

"Hang out, hang out where and doing what?" asked Lori, "We didn't get to exchange numbers yet to go into details, but I figured I treat her out to lunch at this new café I saw while driving, maybe take her out to see a movie, who knows" said Lincoln nonchalantly, as he was very well aware he was fanning the flames that'll get Lori's goat.

"You do know she's still a 17 year old minor in high school right?" asked Lori as she was pulling out the jailbait card, "Great to know, but it's nothing to worry about, after all I intend to bring her back home before 10 and sit down and greet her father before our outing with her promising to send an updated text once every half hour so as to not raise suspicion, granted that means I'd have to change our movie date to something else like going to Gus' Game and Grub, or maybe at the minigolf course" said Lincoln as he sat there feeling smug about going over his theoretical date with Carol, while Lori was fuming with jealousy and disapproval.

"I swear to you Lincoln, don't even think about asking Carol out on a date, she's got nothing going for her" said Lori, "Nothing going for her other than being prom queen, winning the varsity golf championship, and having sold the most cookies as a Blue Belle" said Lincoln as he listed off all the achievements Carol had earned whilst beating Lori as she began to turn red in anger.

"This ain't over" said Lori before going to her room as Lincoln stayed down stairs and laughed over successfully teasing his sister as payback for what she did.

Grabbing his cup of tea, Lincoln called R3DD13 over to finish the family shopping list as he prepared to turn in for the night as he was not joking that he had a long weekend ahead.
