Robert, Holly and Jayne enjoyed shopping together. Robert and Holly both picked up tips on what to get Jayne for Christmas. They were about to go back to their cars when Holly saw some people ice skating. "Oh look at how fun!" Holly smiled.
Jayne shook her head, she had never ice skated and while she was brave she didn't want to fall on her butt in front of her parents. "I have never done that."
"Your mum got me to years ago. It can be fun." Robert smiled at Holly. "Especially the warming up part later on."
Holly chuckled as she waved her hand at Robert. "I think it would be fun to show our daughter how to ice skate." She beamed as she handed Robert the bags.
"Let me go put these up and we can." Robert took the bags to the cars while Holly and Jayne got some ice skates, Holly also got some for Robert. She didn't think he would try to get out of this but she was going to make sure he definitely couldn't.
Holly stuck her hands out to take Jayne's as she helped her onto the ice. "Thanks mum but I think I can handle it." Jayne lovingly stated as she started to move on the ice, very carefully.
Holly took Robert's hand once he joined them. "You know this is so much fun." Holly's face was lit up which immediately caused Robert's smile to appear.
"You've always made it fun. Now I haven't done this in a while, take it easy on me." Robert started to skate with her.
Holly decided to have a little fun with that comment. "Darling didn't I when you were warming back up to the cou..." Before Holly could finish Robert covered her mouth. She giggled. "I'll behave."
Robert raised an eyebrow. "Somehow I doubt that."
The three of them enjoyed their time ice skating then grabbed some hot chocolate before heading back home.
As soon as the door open Seana darted over for Robert who had sat the bags down, knowing that she would want a hug. Robert gave her a big hug. "Oh I missed you."
Seana's face lit up as she held onto Robert.
Holly couldn't help but smile, part of her couldn't help but think Jayne and Ethan should have had this growing up but she knew she needed to focus on the here and now. She placed a kiss on Seana's head. "We got you a little something while we were out."
Holly pulled out a Christmas book and handed it to Seana. "I bet you'll have everyone in here wanting to read that to you."
Seana hugged the book. "Thanks!"
Robert sat her down and she went over to Ethan to show it to him.
"Good distraction." Robert whispered, knowing she had presents for Seana.
Holly smiled at him. "Darling, remember I did have a little practice with Robin." The two of them went upstairs with the bags. Holly had a few she scooted away from him.
"My presents in there?" Robert asked while he helped her put up the other presents.
"Can't get anything by you." She teased him as she handed him another bag.
"You really didn't have to get me anything. I have the best gift..." Robert went over to her and wrapped his arms around her. "Right here."
Holly gave him a kiss and a hug. "Let me have my fun. You on the other hand really don't have to get me a thing, look at what you made happen!" Holly was still so amazed they were back in the townhouse.
Robert shook his head. "Oh no you don't, you don't get to have all the fun. I get to spoil you too." Robert kissed her.
Holly returned his kiss, still smiling. "This is going to be such a lovely Christmas! I had so much fun with Jayne and you today." Holly couldn't help but wonder how the hospital visits went.
Robert read it on her face. "Valentin didn't tell me anything and Diane was being her usual delusional self. I did have a talk with Laura though."
"What about?" Holly asked, curiously.
"Do you think you would be up to having some sessions? Just to make sure the Cassadines don't have that kind of control over you anymore?" Robert asked Holly.
