Chapter 1: Awakening Heartbeat

Disclaimer: I do not own Katekyo Hitman Reborn! or Senki Zessho Symphogear.

"Tachibana-san!" yelled the teacher.

"Ghe," gasped Hibiki as she was holding a white cat.

It has been two years sense the Zwei Wing concert and she had enrolled into Lydian Private Music Academy. She was at the front of the class trying to explain why she was late to class…

"Um, this kitty climbed up a tree, and couldn't get down…

"And?" asked the teacher.

"I thought he must be hungry-"

"TACHIBANA-SAN"

Later Hibiki fell back exhausted on to the floor of the dorm she shared with Miku.

"I'm beat!" she gasped, "My first day here, and I feel like I've gone through the climax a hundred times… Sono maledetto…"

"Half of it is that you're a blunderer, Hibiki," commented Miku as she put away some books, "The rest is that you're always meddling."

"Call it "helping others." That's my hobby," she responded while flipping her self onto her front.

"You take it too far, Hibiki," Miku complained, "Normally, people don't lend their textbooks to other students in the same class."

"It's okay, I'll just read off your book, Miku!" Hibiki grinned as she appeared from behind her. Hibiki then moved on to the table and completely missed Miku's blush and muttering of "baka."

"Oh." Hibiki picked up a magazine featuring Tsubasa, "Her CD comes out tomorrow already? Tsubasa-san's so cool!"

Miku could only smile at her friend's swooning, "You entered Lydian because of your admiration for Tsubasa-san, right? She must be really important to you."

"But I haven't seen a sign of her here," complained Hibiki, "I mean, I know she's a top artist, so meeting her won't be easy…" being reminded of the past, Hibiki tugged at her shirt to look at the forte shaped scar on her chest.

That day, I was definitely saved y those two, Zwei Wing. But when I was released from the hospital, the only news I heard was that Kanade-san and a lot of other people were victims of an international disaster, "Noise." Zwei Wing's battle… Was it a dream? I feel like if I can just meet Tsubasa-san, I'll understand what happened that day.

That night, several miles away from Lydian, dozens of Noise were attacking. Leading the charge was a giant that could almost looked humanoid… if you ignore the fact that its hands were pincers and its 'face' was where its neck was suppose to be. The soldiers facing them were using guns and even tanks to fight back, but even then they simply pass right through the Noise.

"Conventional weapons really don't work against them?" asked a frustrated soldier before he heard… singing?

"Imyuteus Ame no Habakiri tron."

A helicopter flew above the battle field towards the Noise. From the side a figure jumped out, as it fell it was surround by an orb of light. The orb flashed twice, the first riding the the figure of its cloths, the second granting a new outfit. Finally the orb expanded and caused the Noise to change colors, showing that they could be harmed now.

As the figure landed, it was revealed that it was Kazanari Tsubasa, she was wearing an outfit slimier to the one she was wearing to fight the Noise at the concert two years ago, the difference being that it incorporated more white into its appearance and the blades at her feet were longer and could unfold like her namesake.

"Tsubasa, cooperate with Section 1 for now. Let's see what they'll do," the voice of Genjurou ordered though her headset.

"No, I can do this alone," denied Tsubasa.

"Tsubasa!"

Ignoring her commander, she pulled out a sword and engaged the enemy. She started by doing a one armed handstand and spinning around, using the blades on her feet to cut down any surrounding Noise got in her way.

Reverse Rakshasa

She then jumped into the air and summoned a countless number of blades from the sky which proceeded to impale many targets on the ground.

Thousand Falling Tears

As she landed she proceeded to to enlarge her blade into a single edge great sword. She then proceeded to head for the giant Noise and jumped again. When she reached her apex she she proceeded to swing her blade and unleash a flying blue energy slash that bisected both the target and the ground.

Blue Flash

as she landed her armor released steam and the Noise exploded, the soldiers could only watch in amazement at how swiftly she had won.

The next day Hibiki and Miku were having lunch, while Miku was also reading a news report about the Noise attack the previous night.

"'According to the Self-Defense Force and Special Disaster Response Team, the guided evacuation has been completed, and damage was held to a minimum.' So they say," recited Miku, "That isn't too far from here, right?"

"Mhm," agreed Hibiki with her mouth full.

"It's Kazanari Tsubasa!"

"With the celebrity aura she gives off, she's hard to approach, you know?"

"She's like a diva on a pedestal."

Hearing the subject of the random chatter, Hibiki realized this was her first chance to talk to the idol and got up from her seat. But as she turned around, she saw that Tsubasa was standing right next to her!

As Tsubasa turned her attention to the other girl due to almost bumping into each other, Hibiki tried to speak up but just could not get the words she wanted to say out because of her nerves.

Before Hibiki could work up her courage, Tsubasa pointed at her cheek. Confused at first, she soon realized she had food on her face.

"Ahhh, I blew it…" complained Hibiki.

Classes had just ended and Hibiki was laminating about how she embarrassed herself in front of the idol.

"Tsubasa-san must think I have mental problems."

"Well, at least she doesn't have the wrong idea," joked Miku while doing her homework.

"Are you gonna be a while with that?" asked Hibiki.

"Yeah," she responded before realizing what this was about, "Oh, I get it. Tsubasa-san's CD comes out today. Aren't CDs kind of antiquated, though?"

"Oh, shush… First-edition CDs are packed with more bonus materials!" countered Hibiki.

In response Miku pointed out, "In that case, they're probably sold out."

"EH?!"

A little while after leaving the school, Hibiki was in town, running to the store to buy the CD.

"CD… Bonus materials…" she chanted, repeating it like a mantra.

Soon after she suddenly stopped, she was getting a bad feeling that she couldn't identify. She looked around but couldn't see anything. She decided to keep going but keep a look out for anything out of place.

She eventual reached the store and when she tune the corner to enter, she finally saw the source of her bad feeling, ash. There were multiple piles of ash indoors, in the alleyway and even in the street and some partials blowing in the air. More disturbingly then that some were vaguely humanoid and there were no signs of a fire. There was only one thing that could do this…

"Noise!"

Hibiki was knocked out of her stupor by a sudden yell. Despite all the fear she harbored from the events of two years ago, it wasn't enough to stop her from trying to help the one in trouble…

Under Lydian, in the base of the Mobile Disaster Prevention Corps. Section 2, where only a select few knew about and even fewer were allowed entry, Tsubasa entered the command room.

"Please fill me in!" requested their only fighter.

"Trying to lock on to a signal now," reported one of the main operators, a man with greenish brown hair and green eyes, "The first priority is identifying their location."

Genjurou and Ryoko stood surveying the situation, both having survived the events two years prier.

Hibiki was escorting a little girl that had been attacked by the Noise, trusting the feelings she got she was able to find to get past various groups of the monsters, which fortunately didn't include flying enemies.

Unfortunately…

"We're a long way from a shelter!" warned hibiki. One of the things that were known about the noise was that they thought like killing machines, how much wheat into planning and coordination was up to debate. But it certainly felt like that as Hibiki tripped from exhaustion from carrying the little girl on her back.

Despite not seeing any of the monsters anywhere in sight, she knew they weren't far behind, and that they wouldn't leave any openings this time. For a moment, Hibiki wondered if there was any point in running anymore.

Don't give up on life! The memory flashed into her mind briefly and filled Hibiki with determination, if she stopped now or abandoned the girl, then it would feel like she had betrayed all of efforts. Unseen by anyone, Hibiki's ring flashed for an instant.

Hibiki got and pulled the girl along behind her. Thinking fast, she knew that actual escape would be impossible at this point. But she reminded herself that the Noise ha no fliers this time and that some of them looked like they had noway to grip things. With this information, she made a gamble.

As night fell, Hibiki searched for away up. She avoided stairs and elevators, things that were too easy for the noise to use. Then she saw it, a ladder leading to the roof of a fairly tall building. Pulling the little girl on her back she she started to their best chance at buying time.

That day… That time… She definitely saved me. The girl who saved me sang a gentle, yet powerful, song. After reaching the rooftop both girls collapsed and gasped for breath.

"Are we gonna die?" the little girl asked. In response Hibiki shook her head no, but as she turned she realized that her gamble had failed.

The Noise had already found them, even the ones that shouldn't be able to climb were here. And they had a gotten between the girl and the only ladder and even if the could reach it, climbing would still take too long.

As the Noise closed in, Hibiki could feel her heartbeat in her chest.

Thump

There must be something…

Thump

There must be something I can do!

Thump

"Don't give up on life!"

Thump

"Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron," sang Hibiki.

An orange light began to illuminate from her chest and light up the area. The Noise, unable to make sense of the phenomenon, stayed back to observe. The light suddenly began to focus it self towards the sky.

"I've isolated the signal!" yell out a female voice, "Position identified!"

Back in the underground command center, Division 2 had at last found the location of the Noise.

"We're detecting a different high-output energy than that of the Noise!" stated the male operator.

"Identify that waveform! Hurry!" ordered Ryoko. As she received the data on her own display, she realized two oddities about it.

"Could it be… An aufwachen waveform?" she asked herself.

When they got a match from the database, the results surprised them.

"Gungnir?" spoke Genjurou.

The one in most shock was Tsubasa, after two years after losing Kanade someone else was using her power.

"There's more," Ryoko spoke, a serous tone in her voice, "The phonic gain powering it is the same anomaly as two years ago." That information shocked them once again, at last, they would be able to get answers.

Back on the rooftop the beam continued to fire into the sky as Hibiki was trapped and striped naked. Her heartbeat sounded more vibrant as she felt something spread through out her body like it was changing her vary cells.

Hibiki tried to resist the change, but it was to late. As the orb dispersed, machines started to grow out of her back before it started to retract back in to her. The process repeated itself once more before the devices started to take form around the girl's body as armor.

The armor that she was wearing was mostly black, white and with splotches of orange, it also has similarities to the armor that Kanade once wore.

As Hibiki got up she briefly looked like a wild beast ready to go on a rampage.

Meanwhile, on another rooftop far enough to not be spotted, stood a tall man in a black suite and a black fedora with an orange stripe. Although his hat covered his eyes in shadow, his sideburns were vary curly and he had an odd looking lizard on his right shoulder.

As he was watching the events take place through his binoculars, he reached up to activate his earpiece.

"The chick has learned to fly."

Wow! I actually got the first chapter out. Anyways it looks like the action is going to heat up soon and as for background for how Dying Will Flames will affect the Story? You'll get half next chapter and the other half when Fine betrays Chris.(although that's pretty obvious)
