Chapter 17

Harry spent half of the next day sleeping and the other half being told over and over again to take it easy. Seras even employed Alucard to babysit him for a few hours when she left to handle a few tasks for Integra, which was infinitely amusing for Alucard. It turns out Baskerville was more than happy to take the role literally. When Seras returned she found harry glaring at Alucard while a giant dog with way too many eyes had him pinned to the ground by sitting on his chest.

"Get him off me." Harry warned. Alucard grinned.

"Now now, you need your rest." Alucard said, entirely insincerely.

"Last chance." Harry said Alucard laughed.

"Imperio" Harry said, Baskerville's eyes went unfocused.

"Alucard has treats in his jacket for you, Baskerville." Harry said. Alucard frowned, then turned and ran as Baskerville bounded after him, barking happily.

"That was amusing." Seras said.

"What's more amusing is that Alucard seems to have forgotten he can disappear at will." Harry said, ducking as Alucard started firing wildly at Baskerville. Harry grinned and waved his hand at the giant beast causing him to come to a skidding halt before turning and approaching Harry, who reached up and scratched behind his ears.

"Good boy. Big mean Alucard shooting at a harmless little puppy." Harry said with a grin. Baskerville rolled onto his back and Harry rubbed his belly.

"I don't appreciate you manipulating my familiar..." Alucard said walking over to them.

"Says the guy who conned him into sitting on someone recovering from magical exhaustion." Harry retorted.

"... Fair." Alucard said, vanishing along with Baskerville.

"So what's up babe?" Harry said kissing Seras. She smiled.

"I checked on a possible vampire sighting in Leeds, turns out it was just some goth kids." Seras said with a grin.

"We still on for the Weasleys tonight?" Harry asked.

"Wouldn't miss it!" Seras said.

"Great, now that I don't have several tons of hell hound sitting on my chest I'm gong to pop over and visit Zorin, Rip and Schrodinger." Harry said.

"Apparate into their yard and knock first, you remember what happened last time." Seras said. Harry blushed.

"Yeah, that was really awkward." Harry said. Seras kissed him and walked off towards their quarters, and Harry apparated away.

He arrived on their porch and knocked, Rip came to the door and hugged him, before leading him into the house.

"Ah, so he learns." Zorin said with a smirk. Harry blushed.

"I really wasn't trying to be a creep." Harry said.

"We know it's just fun to tease you." Zorin said, hugging him.

"So, tomorrow's the big day." Rip said, putting on a pot of coffee. Harry nodded.

"I'm really not looking forward to it." Harry said.

"Schrodinger asked me to tell you he's going away for a couple of days. I think he's worried." Rip said. Harry nodded.

"Hopefully soon he can just worry about being a kid." Harry said.

"He knows, and he knows that what you do needs to be done. He did take his mirror, though. After the ministry you should try to call him." Zorin said.

"I'll make sure Hermione is there when I do. She'll be excited to see if it works." Harry said. Rip brought over three cups of coffee and Harry nicked his finger with Captain Stabby to add to theirs.

"We'll be there with you, along with the other vampires, werewolves, and all of your supporters." Zorin said. Harry nodded.

"I can't thank all of you enough. I know this isn't really your fight." Harry said. Rip scoffed.

"Says the wizard that almost got himself killed saving us from Millennium." Rip said. Harry shrugged.

"Harry, we had a question for you." Rip said, looking at Zorin who nodded and smiled.

"Shoot." Harry said.

"We're not ready yet obviously, but I.. we were hoping..." Rip said. Zorin chuckled and took over.

"In the relatively near future, Rip and I would like to explore the possibility of having children. Obviously, we are ill equipped to impregnate one another." Zorin said, smiling at Rip who was blushing. Harry sighed dramatically.

"So, that's what it's come to? Saved the world three times and now I'm just a walking sperm bank." Harry said with a grin.

"Of course, guys. When you're ready let me know." Harry said. Rip squealed and threw herself into his arms, with Zorin joining immediately after.

"Want me to keep this to myself?" Harry asked. Zorin shook her head.

"Integra and Seras should know about it, our children would be the siblings of theirs." Zorin said. Harry nodded. They enjoyed their coffee and chatted for a little while, Zorin and he thanked them for the coffee before heading back to Hellsing. Harry discussed Rip and Zorin's request with her, which got him an excited squeal, before Seras dragged him to Integra's office to let her know. Integra was also happy that her child would have such a large family. Once Seras was ready, he apparated Seras and himself to the Burrow. They barely made it through the door before Molly had both Seras and himself in a bear hug.

"Come in dears!" Molly said, leading them into the home.

"I know I say this every time I'm here, but I absolutely adore this place." Seras said. Harry grinned.

"I offered to buy them a new home, but they declined and I found myself agreeing with their reasoning. This home, is just so... Weasley." Harry said. Seras grinned.

"Besides, can you imagine our horde of children visiting their Grandma Molly in any other home?" Harry said.

"Oh, you... You keep doing this to me!" Molly said, bursting into tears and hugging him hard enough to lift him off the ground.

"How many kids are you planning on having Harry?" Arthur asked.

"Well Integra's is first, I'm not sure if she'll want more, but I'll help if she does. With Seras, as many as she'd like. Rip and Zorin just asked for my help in that department as well, so apparently I'm going to be fathering half of the next generation of wizards. Poor, poor Minerva." Harry said with a grin.

"What's wrong with Minerva?" Hermione asked, walking through the door with Daniel while Ron came in behind her with Gideon.

"We're talking about everyone who will be bearing the Goblin king's princes and princesses." Seras said.

"Oh? Who other than you and Integra?" Ron asked.

"Rip and Zorin showed an interest, and-" Seras said but was interrupted.

"They might not want that getting out." Harry said. Seras' eyes widened and she gasped.

"Harry..." Hermione said. Harry raised an eyebrow.

"I'm being respectful of someone's privacy, Hermione." Harry said. Hermione looked sheepish.

"Sorry! You're right. I guess I'm just used to your secrets ending up with you in the infirmary." Hermone said, getting a laugh from everyone.

"What's that got to do with Minerva though?" Ron asked, sitting on a chair and bouncing Gideon on his knee.

"Well Integra will be giving birth in a few months, Daniel and Gideon are here, good chance I'll have a few more babies in the coming years, Fred and Angelina might too. Can you imagine that many kids with Potter or Weasley genes in Hogwarts at the same time?" Harry asked with a grin.

"Who do you think she's going to complain about them to?" Molly asked. Harry frowned.

"Godda- Dangit." Harry said, censoring himself for the babies' sake. Harry insisted on helping Molly cook again, leaving the rest to get the table ready. Hermione noticed Seras looking longingly at Daniel.

"Can you hold him while I straighten this table cloth, Seras?" Hermione asked.

"YES! Er, um. Sure.." Seras said. Hermione laughed at her enthusiasm and handed Daniel to her. Seras smiled and looked down at the tiny redhead in her arms, who stared up at her and laughed, reaching to try to get a hold of her hair.

"Oh!" Hermione said

"What? Seras asked.

"That's the first time he's ever laughed!" Hermione said with a smile. Seras smiled down and started making funny faces, which to the little redhead were literally the funniest thing he'd ever seen. Harry nudged Molly with his elbow and gestured towards Seras.

"I think I'm in trouble." Harry said with a grin.

"Oh that's precious! God I'm glad she's come into our lives. I used to think such appalling things about vampires." Molly said, shoving a pan into the oven.

"I think that's what the Ministry wanted us to think. One of many things I hope to change." Harry said.

"Is there any way you don't have to go through with that?" Molly asked. Harry sighed.

"When Seras and I started dating, I told her that I was taking her to see the wizarding world, not because I wanted to see if they would accept her, but to see if she could accept them. I was very close to just abandoning it all, and buying a cottage in Ireland or something." Harry said.

"But I couldn't leave you all, and I don't think you'd all follow me, no matter how big my cottage was." Harry said with a grin. Molly chuckled.

"Any thoughts on what comes next?" Molly asked.

"A significant percentage of the wizarding population will be present, so they will be in charge of deciding how to move forward. I'm not interested in taking everyone's rights away, better that they choose what comes next." Harry said.

They set dinner out on the table and everyone gathered, Harry had pulled aside and prepared Seras' food specially, and they chatted about life in general. Hermione was loving her job with Hellsing, feeling like she was making more of a difference than anyone in the Ministry. Ron was considering taking a job with Hellsing, but was also considering being a stay at home dad. He had found his purpose in life when his children were born, and Molly and Arthur couldn't have been more proud.

"So Arthur. I need you to do something for me." Harry said, wiping his mouth and looking at him seriously.

"What's that, Harry?" Arthur said.

"Don't go to work tomorrow." Harry said. That silenced everyone. Arthur looked at him in shock.

"It's... it's time?" Arthur said. Harry nodded sadly. Arthur sighed.

"When you said you were going to overthrow the ministry, at first I thought you were joking, but the more I see the more I agree. I will be there beside you, Harry." Arthur said.

"No you won't. You've taken oaths, signed contracts. Disloyalty has serious consequences for ministry employees. If you're home sick, you can't be there to betray them." Harry said. Arthur wanted to disagree, but when he remembered the oaths, he grimaced.

"Mum, will you watch the babies?" Ron asked. Molly nodded.

"Don't give in to despair. If everything works out, Draco and I won't even need to fight anyone." Harry said.

"Wait.. Malfoy?" Ron asked. Harry grinned sheepishly.

"Sorry, mate. Forgot to tell you." Harry said.

"Why him and not me?" Ron asked, looking slightly hurt.

"I'm hoping that showing up with Draco as my second will make the purebloods think twice. It's unlikely but I'll do anything if it means not having to hurt anyone." Harry said.

"Actually that's brilliant, mate." Ron said.

"What if they refuse to step down?" Arthur asked. Harry looked down at the table.

"Then I will challenge every dissenting Wizengamot members as well as the minister to honor duels one by one until none are left." Harry said. Seras rubbed his back.

Harry woke up as he always did, as he wanted to for the rest of his life, naked with his limbs entangled with Seras'. He'd had trouble getting to sleep, so Seras had endeavored to 'shag him until he passed out.' After kissing Seras and disentangling their limbs, he got up and showered. He dressed in a plain uniform with no insignia, along with his jacket and made his way to the cafeteria for breakfast. It was a somber affair, they were all nervous about what lay ahead. After eating, Harry made his way to the roof, in his favorite thinking spot that overlooked the south side of the property."

"You know..." Alucard said, Harry stood and turned to face him.

"It would be easy for me to shove you off this roof." Alucard said with a sadistic grin. Harry laughed.

"You're welcome to try it." Harry said, Alucard laughed.

"If you're open to it, I wanted to offer you some advice." Alucard said.

"I'll take whatever I can get." Harry replied.

"Until your people choose a new government for themselves, you will be their leader. Any fool can sit atop a throne and and proclaim themselves a leader. It takes wisdom to understand that no-one can ever take power, it must be freely given. Otherwise you face inevitable revolution. I learned this first hand." Alucard said, lapsing into his Wallachian accent on the last sentence.

"They may revere, even worship you, but at the end of the day, you are their servant. Never forget that." Alucard said.

"So I'll be like a dominatrix?" Harry asked with a grin. Alucard laughed

"That's an apt comparison. You will wield a power, but only at their pleasure. Your current government has forgotten this, so too have your people. Fight with ruthlessness, but lead with compassion and love." Alucard said. Harry nodded.

"Unless the History Channel was lying, your people adored you." Harry said. Alucard nodded sadly.

"My enemies feared and hated me, but my people, they were everything. Do not do this if you have no love for them." Alucard said. Harry nodded.

"I do love them. And now I will show them." Harry said. Alucard smiled and nodded.

Renee Calloway found herself wishing, not for the first time, that she'd never sought employment with the Ministry of Magic. Half of the paperwork she filed was contradicting or cancelling the other half, the new Minister, Corban Yaxley, was as likely to grope her as he was to berate her for following instructions he'd forgotten he'd given her. She'd considered legal action, but the Wizengamot would never rule against him, at least the pureblood majority wouldn't. She sighed, stamping another idiotic order when she looked up and paled.

Harry Potter-Victoria, boy who lived, man who conquered, and hero of London strode with a serious expression lead an enormous group of people behind him. Dark detectors all over the ministry entrance were going off like wild, suggesting that amongst the wizards were vampires, werewolves, veela or all three. He arrived at her desk and smiled politely, handing her a small metal badge that had been generated at the entrance. She looked down and it read:

Name: Harry James Potter

Purpose of visit: Coup D'etat

"P-please don't hurt me." Calloway said. Harry smiled warmly at her, and offered his hand to help her up.

"I won't be hurting anyone if I can avoid It. Would you please let he minister know I've come to visit him?"
